20 Best Silk Pillowcase For Wrinkles (2023 Updated)

Really enjoying this set now that I have had it for a good length of time. I have tried out a few sets in the past couple of years and this is by far the softest one out of the bunch and nothing like some slippery silk and satin pillowcases I’ve purchased in the past.

Love that this has a zipper closure instead of some with just that partition slit because I feel like it is much more secure. The Regular size is quite generous already so if you have a more hefty regular size pillow, it will definitely fit.

So far, really enjoying it. Please silk is great for your hair and skin, easy to clean when using a laundry bag to protect it and stain resistant.

I was looking for silk pillowcases. I love these pillowcases. These are made of 100% high quality pure natural silk. Surface is too nice , silky and smooth for good sleep overnight and enjoy dreams. Very neat stitches.

Also hidden zippers make its so easy. Good for your skin to maintain natural moisture.

I had some bad experience before but these are great. They’re silk but not slippery. Nice zipper closure keeps pillow in all night. Silk on both sides but it’s not super glossy or slick. The silk doesn’t feel cool or hot, it just keep the room temperature.

Better than Blissy for about half the price. Blissy standard size barely fits standard pillow. Its not as silky feeling as Celestial and does not wash up as nice. Just remember only wash in silk approved detergent and NO dryer or fabric softener.

I accidentally washed my Celestial case with other clothes in Persil detergent and Downy which pretty much ruined it. If I had done that too the Blissy instead I wouldnt be so upset at myself.

Excellent quality. The best pillow cases ever! They are very soft and comfortable. Promotes a long an deep sleep. Follow the easy instructions for washing and drying. I bought them in blue, pink and green.

Bought some as gifts also. They were a total success.

Appears to be well made. Have not washed yet, but will begin with handwashing or “delicate cycle”. Does keep hair less messy and misshapen. facial skin less lined and dented,LOL. Less cost than some less momme available.

Really believe we could have more if the price came down. I would have bought at least 2 if there had been offer. After all, it’s 2 squares of fabric and a zipper (if you choose zipper over flap). All that being said, I like it.

I’ve owned slip pillowcases for years and they really make a difference in the health of my naturally curly, wild, frizzy, dry hair and sensitive combination skin. I prefer the envelope style over the zipper and don’t seem to have the issue some people have with the pillowcase moving around.

Perhaps it has more to do with me sleeping on my side and back and on a less than fluffy pillow than the pillowcase itself. The lighter colors will stain especially if you use products or topical medications at night.

For example, I can’t recommend the cream color. Most other colors will also change over time and charcoal is no different, but it will last you years before you will likely see the need to replace if you take care of it.

I hand washed cold laid flat to dry with Dr. Bronner’s solution. When I had accumulated some buildup, I used Woolite or Dreft. The pillowcase is never as silky smooth as the uses you get before it’s first wash, but still significantly better than cotton or poly blends.

The brand’s seasonal colors are frequently part of department store sales and most if not all of the products are included in Sephora sales.

I’ve been a devotee of silk pillowcases for a decade or more. I’ve tried but haven’t managed to sleep on my back. Instead, I end up in a face plant every night. When I travel, I bring extra Slip King pillowcases to avoid pillow creases all over my face during meetings.

For those who’ve reviewed alongside photos of destroyed pillowcases, please check the care instructions and don’t fry them with a regular tumble dry or hot wash. Your face (and hair) will thank you in the end!.

I have this pillowcase for 4 years now and it’s so comfortable and it has not tear up whatsoever. The color is still vibrant and I wash in the washing machine every week. I did notice my hair are not as tangled and I don’t wake up with fabric mark on my face like I used to.

Ok now I bet you’re confused. What’s the deal with a silk pillowcase compared to another fabric? Well, that’s just it, it’s silk, silk is not retaining water, so it doesn’t pull the hydration from your skin or steal your night cream or serum.

It gives you an amazing night and let your face get pampered without disturbance. Damn I need one! Yeah you do. If you’re not sure about this brand, I don’t know why would that be since it’s amazing, but just make sure then that it is silk and not polyester with “silk” feel! Be cautious of not wearing earrings or chipped nails as it could disturb the fabric.

It’s silk not plastic after all. A part from that it’s fine, mine is still perfect.

IšverstiShow in original languageI’ve had my silk pillow case for my euro feather pillow now for a month and I love it. No more sweaty neck, and my skin doesn’t feel oily in the morning. I have long curtly hair which tends to tangle.

I used to have to wash it every other day because it got so oily. Now I only wash it once to twice a week because it looks fresh longer. Also my ends are looking to recover from being dry and frizzy, my hairdresser noticed it too.

Not even mentioning how comfortable I feel to sleep on my silk pillow case. Thank you 😊.

IšverstiShow in original languageThese pillowcases exceed expectations. They are very thick and substantial, while still being very soft and smooth. They don’t wrinkle or stain easily. I bought the queen size for queen size Layla pillows, and they fit like a glove, with a nice tuck-over closer at the end.

I also own a set of the 22 momme cases, very nice but do wrinkle more. Highly recommend buying 30 momme pillowcases to augment your sheet set! I use the Mulberry Park silk wash in the machine on gentle, then line dry, then fluff them in the drier to smooth and delint.

Works like a charm.

It has also been more gentle on my hair. I am noticing fewer tangles, less breakage, and it is less greasy when I wake up. I wish I could justify getting the whole sheet set, but I’m not responsible enough to air dry them every week.

If you’re on the fence, just try one for a week. You’ll be a convert like me.

If you’re looking for something extra silky soft, you may want to consider bumping up to the 22 or 30 momme. If you’re like me, though, the 19 momme is just what you need! (Another bonus is that this pillow comes with a flap to seal the pillowcase together, so your pillow doesn’t pop out) (Pro tip, if your pillow has a print on it, you might want to get a darker color unless seeing the print won’t bother you).

I had really high hopes for this pillowcase. After reading the reviews on here, as well as doing lots of online research into silk pillow cases and this one was recommended on many sites. Unfortunately, I was very let down by those.

I bought a pillowcase for myself and my daughter and I also got an eye mask. The first night I woke up multiple times covered in sweat. I was hoping it was just my body adjusting to a different fabric.

I gave the pillow a good try. I slept on it for a solid week and every night I woke up multiple times covered in sweat. There is absolutely no cooling effect, my hair saw no difference than a cotton pillowcase.

I still had awful bed Head and my daughter l, who moves a lot in her sleep, still woke up with tangles. This is quite a lot of money for a pillow case, and yes I know that it’s on the cheaper side for a silk pillowcase, I still expected it to at least be cooling, somewhat.

I was hoping the benefits with the hair was just going to be an added bonus since I have hair loss due to an autoimmune disorder. Brooklinen is great company however, and I had a great experience when contacting customer service regarding my order (for different reasons).

Sadly, the pillow case has moved to the guest pile, and I’m not sure if I’ll even use it for them.

I’ve spent a lot of time researching bed linens and decided to go with Brooklinen. We’ve had our sheets for around 9 months or so now and are really really impressed with the quality. They’re super soft.

I also have a pair of sheets from a competing brand, which are slightly more buttery as well, but the prompt customer service was a huge deal to me and I’ve recommended them to all my friends. My brooklinen sheets have also held up better than the competing brand.

If you are a warmer sleeper though I would recommend percale b/c I still do sweat sometimes more in these sheets than the others. Great quality sheets for the price and stellar customer service in my experience.

Mulberry silk pillowcases are everywhere—I have a few from other places, and these from Brooklinen are exactly the same, only pricier and in really nice (and pointless, if not a gift) individually boxed packaging.

They are no thicker than others, or magically insane higher quality, so if you already own and enjoy decent silk pillowcases, you probably won’t be amazed. I love silk (and satin) pillowcases, but not a huge fan of this all-silk design, where one side isn’t cotton to help it stay in place.

Chasing a super slick, slide-everywhere pillow around with your head (if it isn’t up against a headboard) isn’t fun. I love my sheets from Brooklinen, so I was hoping these way overpriced silk pillowcases would be incredible improvements, quality-wise, from others.

My first purchase was the 30 Momme silk pillowcases, soft, heavier silk, dense. But when I purchased the 22 Momme silk sheet set, that turned my life around! So so soft, dreamy, really felt pampered! I used to have trouble sleeping through the night, no more.

Also my curly hair and older skin love the silk. I face the shiny flat sheet against me and my comforter stays in place. I did notice some pilling after I washed them, but only at the foot end, so it’s my own dry feet causing it.

The handy label right on the sheet to put it at the foot end is great, practical, so I’m not messing up the entire bottom sheet. I don’t feel the pilling with my feet or legs, so it stays soft. It’s so hard to get out of bed and I look forward to going to bed now! I machine wash my sheets by themselves with Heritage Park detergent, in my HE no agitator washer, on normal cycle, cold water, high spin and air dry in my dryer, takes about an hour to dry.

It’s easy care and they turn out fine, stay soft and hold up great. Wonderful quality product! It’s expensive, by my standards, but I decided I’d spend more than that on a little vacation I’m NOT taking with COVID and believe me, feeling this good in bed IS a wonderful vacation!.

19 Momme is slightly less luxurious than my standard sized 22 momme oxford silk pillowcase but the quality difference is hardly noticeable.

Beautiful silk pillowcases. My husband loves his too. I purchased the lavender and the silvergray for us. His only complaint is that you can see the drool marks on the pillowcase. but that would happen with any pillowcase, so it wasn’t a reason for me not to rate a great product the way it deserves! The colors are beautiful, the material feels sturdy yet soft, and the price was great.

Will definitely purchase more, as I think these pillowcases would make great gifts.

After sleeping on my pillowcase for about 1 week, I already see a great improvement in my skin tone, and I love the envelope pocket rather than zipper closure. The pillowcase is cooler. It makes some fabric noise when I’m getting settled but I am sleeping very well with it.

I do enjoy feeling the silk under me every night, and it does feel like my hair is smoother/less stringy in the morning, BUT— it seems I mistakenly came into this thinking it would be a good solution for preventing oily skin from staining sheets…it isn’t.

After just one week of use, there was already an oil residue stain forming on the pillowcase (I’m a side sleeper) from where the sides of my face would lay. I had bought one for my boyfriend as well, who tends to drool occasionally, and unfortunately I was disappointed to see that even after washing (machine wash delicate in mesh bag), the drool stains were still very prominent and discolored.

He has slightly drier skin than I do but also had the oil stain issue. I want to enjoy these pillowcases but it feels like I have to be extra delicate with them which takes away from full rest relaxation.

I understand this may just be a reflection of me and my super oily hair/skin and not of the product itself, but I wanted to make this review anyways to give others with the same skin type a little more info before buying.

I am enjoying my first set of silk pillowcases. The pillowcases washed up well and while I am not sure I see any difference in my skin or hair, I really like the silk next to my face as I sleep. The quality of the silk and the construction seem very good.

Time will tell. 4 stars because they are a little expensive until I see how they last.

I have several LilySilk pillowcases, and am very happy with them. They are the BEST fabric to sleep on, they wash up nicely, and are durably constructed. I also appreciate the care in packaging – the only advice I would give to future purchasers is to be patient, it takes awhile to receive your order, but it is SO very worth the wait! :).

I have Blissy pillowcases on all the beds in my house. I was an early adopter of these pillowcases and the first versions were a great silk material but shoddy construction. Also, the older versions had one color choice…white.

Blissy has since improved the zippers, added more colors, stitched the logo on the pillow case, tightened the stitching, improved the finishing details and added a nice gift box. The silk has always been lovely.

The current cases are nearly perfection. I buy them often. My hair stays cleaner longer. I don’t know what witchcraft (joking) they use but even my blowouts last 5-6 days without my hair ever looking dirty, greasy, frizzy or flat.

The skin on my face is less dry. I fall asleep faster and wake up fewer times at night. I give a Blissy pillow cases to all of my friends, male and female. Everyone loves them. They are the all occasion and most welcome gift.

Occasionally someone that received a Blissy from me will come back and say they loved it and went to buy another (or three) only to discover that the Blissy is not cheap. They still buy more because someone in their family has been taking their pillow and case.

I did a lot of research before finally deciding to splurge on the Blissy Pillowcase but sadly most reviews are when the person initially receive the item and not about the long term quality of the item.

I had my pillow case for less than a year when I started to see mini tears in the fabric on the corners by the zipper, by the 1 year mark I started to see mini tears all along the crease of the pillow (opposite side of where the zipper is).

By 1 yr 1 month, the enter side of the pillow case ripped open. I washed my pillow case on delicates with nothing abrasive and air dried like the instructions said. When I reached out to Blissy with photos of the progressive quality issues, they told me they only have a 1yr warranty for the zipper.

Even after the pillow completely fell apart, the zipper worked great. So kudos for having a warranty on the zipper but not the FABRIC which makes up the entire pillowcase. Clearly Blissy knows their fabric wouldn’t hold up to warranty standards.

I am disappointed and would definitely not recommend to anyone. I sincerely regret getting these pillow cases for my in-laws as a gift a couple months back because it’s going to look like I bought them something cheap when it starts falling apart for them too.

I already reviewed this once, but Blissy is suppressing negative reviews. Here goes a second attempt to provide an accurate review: Out of the box the seams of the pillowcase were covered in loose threads and a snag.

I was able to gently pull most free, but I will have to use a sewing needle to fix the rest. After one night of use the pillowcase looks stained and discolored. I don’t really wear makeup and I had showered so I don’t know why the pillowcase looks stained.

It was not a fluke either since the same thing happened again when I tried flipping the pillow over after a few nights. Washing the pillowcase did not remove the staining but the fabric is now very wrinkled.

The fabric is also so slippery that the pillowcase slides around in the night. I have a small bed so that constrains where the pillow can go. I have had the pillowcase almost a month now but have not noticed any change much less an improvement of my hair or skin.

The only reason this got a star was because the pillowcase felt okay to sleep on. I am glad I got this on sale so I didn’t waste as much money as I might have, but I still feel I overpaid for what I got.

I have generally used cotton pillow cases or something a little bit less silky most of my life, but I recently bought a new hybrid mattress that claims to be cooling. In the process of buying the mattress, I found out that in order to take advantage of the cooling gel, it’s important to have the right kind of sheets to let the cooling happen.

The same applies to pillows I believe. I’ve always had problems sweating at night, but since I changed to this silk pillowcase, I have noticed a big difference. I love it’s soft silky texture and the cool feel to it as I lay down at night.

Probably my favorite feature though is the zipper! Every pillowcase I’ve had doesn’t stay on the pillow for very long before you have to slide the pillow back in. especially with silky pillowcases. With this pillowcase, I never worry about the pillow falling out because the zipper keeps it in place.

The zipper isn’t obtrusive either where it scratches your hand or your head. It’s an inside zipper with only a tiny smooth pull tab sticking out. It’s barely even noticeable, yet easy to zip up. I have enjoyed this pillowcase very much and plan to get more of them so my other pillows will match.

After reading all of the information out there on the benefits of sleeping with a silk pillowcase, I decided to give it a try. It is very, very soft and comfortable to sleep on. It needs to be hand washed and hung to dry.

It is just as soft once it is dry as when it was removed from the packaging. The best part, though, is how cool to the touch it is. I am one of those sleepers who flips the pillows during the night to find a cool spot.

There is no need with this one. It is always cool to the touch. I have read that cotton pillowcases pull and tug at your skin tissue especially around the eyes and can definitely say that I have awakened without those nasty creases in my skin from the pillowcase.

I will be getting more of these for the rest of the pillows on the bed. Anyone who gets this pillowcase will be pleased.

Last year, when the silk pillowcase craze was taking off, I bought a very cheap silk pillowcase to see what all the hype was about. It was flimsy and didn’t do much for me. So many people swear that sleeping on silk is great for your skin and hair so I tried again with this pillowcase from Madison Park.

This one is so much nicer quality. It’s thick and luxurious and the color looks almost molten. It’s a beautiful case. It is cooling to sleep on so I will probably use it more often in the warmer months.

I have noticed less creasing on my face when I wake up but I do still get crazy bedhead. If you want to try one out, this is a wonderful option.
