20 Best Silicone Tips For Airpods (2023 Updated)

This is a great product – it seals the AirPods in very well, and because it’s foam, it doesn’t slip out of the ear like the original silicone tips due to the ear oil that naturally exists. Especially in my ear.

However, these are disappointing in some ways: 1. They become too soft and starts ripping even though I take care of my electronics extremely. This is due to (I suspect) once they become soft and harder as heat activates and deactivated them.

I didn’t even use them that often as I would usually. It’s only been a month, of keeping them and one pair has started doing this. I feel like that’s such a waste and I will work through all the pairs quickly.

2. Not a perfect fit compared to the apple airpod tips. They are not manufactured by apple, so consequently, they are not the exact same size. They tend to be on the slightly bigger side, so they can be slightly uncomfortable.

This becomes worse as it becomes softer over time. (Becoming softer, I thought this was a good thing initially. But they tend to loose the ability to block out the noise well as it would. ) it doesn’t fit too well in the case, and the case starts digging into the tips slightly which encourages the ripping of the foam material over time.

3. They are made of foam which could be a con. If it was silicone you can clean with rubbing alcohol but I don’t think that’s a good idea with these. Overall – these are amazing, and great for the noise isolation and the ability to stay put compared to the originals, and black colour since the dirt won’t be as noticeable and won’t turn yellow overtime.

But they have these cons that are pretty critical, for the price too. I would consider getting them again once I work through them but try to make do with originals.

I may have an addiction to headphones at this point, so when I saw the opportunity to review these Comply Foam Tips 2. 0 for the Apple AirPod Pros that I already owned, I just had to try them out. I’ve owned a few Comply brand tips in the past and even though it’s been quite a while since I have, I remember being fond of them.

In the pack you’ll get 3 sets of these tips (since the foam eventually does break down with usage) and you also get to choose what size you’d like. Based on the fit guide I chose medium, which is comparable to the original Apple silicone tip I was using.

Replacing these original silicone tips with these was as easy as pulling them off and pushing these on. They fit into place just like the original tips and feel secure. Also, these allow the charging case to close as well, which is a problem with some of the other tips out there on the market.

If a tip doesn’t allow me to close the charging case, it’s an absolute deal breaker for me. For starters, I noticed that the tips seal inside my ear much better than the Apple silicone tips. Comfort is about the same, as I didn’t notice that the Apple tips were uncomfortable in any way.

These just have a little bit of a warmer feel, most likely because they are foam and not silicone. What I did notice was that these foam tips gripped to my ears a little better, meaning that the entire AirPod Pro stayed in my ear better when doing things like talking, chewing or working out.

My overall thoughts on these Comply Foam Tips 2. 0 for the AirPod Pros are that they are a fantastic upgrade to the original Apple silicone tips, especially if you want even greater noise isolation (which will help with enhancing the noise cancellation as well).

Are these a game changer for your AirPod Pros? Probably not, but they are definitely a nice upgrade to an already fantastic set of earbuds.

Pretty good so far. No complains. Great fitment and no pain after long periods of wear.

These have saved my Air Pod Pros, which I had effectively stopped using because they hurt my ears and continually fell out. These stay in and are far more comfortable.

I enjoy these a lot. They fit really well and give the ear buds a little more passive noice cancellation. It’s not too noticeable of a difference, but the comfort is.

This is the 2nd set of Memory Earphone Tips I have purchased from Dekoni. The first was for my NuForce EDC IEMs. The new tips are far superior to the provided silicone tips and provided a nice level of isolation for listening to music while traveling.

The 2nd set was for use with my Ikko OH10 IEMs. I was truly ready to send the Ikko IEMs back as my ear shape was just not allowing the stock tips to seal and hold the earphones in place. The short nozzle just would not allow me to inset it to a point where they would stay.

I even tried the Ikko ‘Planet’ foam tips and while a bit better, actually hurt my right ear after extended listening sessions. I really wanted to give the Ikkos a fair shot given the rave reviews, so I thought I’d try a set of Dekoni tips before throwing in the towel.

Boy am I glad I did!! The OH10s now fit comfortably and seal properly revealing a wonderfully extended and impactful bass — all without sacrificing the wonderful mids and crystalline high-ends. Turned ‘Meh’ into ‘Wow’!!! Highly recommended if you believe you are not getting all out of your IEMs either comfort or sound-wise.

My old Fiio’s silicone ear tips have worn out. 50% of the time the ear tip would stay lodged in my ear when I pulled the IEM out. I have other earphones and headphones to use so I have been putting off getting replacement tips for them.

Well I regret that I put it off for this long. These new Dekonis have put them back in heavy use. A secure fit and solid seal put new life back in the old IEMs. I have a couple more neglected IEMs that are getting new tips to bring them back now.

Foam has somehow like weak memory, actually, after you shrink it, the tip will hardly rebound to its shape. I bought 3 pairs Large, notably one of these 3 pairs was even more defective than the other two (it won´t recover its shape, even if you wait one year, rather will remain exactly as you deformed it).

Finally, the L size is not even with the original L size of Sony wf-1000xm4 tips, it´s smallest thus there is no fit at all, no passive Noise Cancellation and all range of Bass frequencies are lost, also, because the hole and the plug-in plastic circle are built in a different position compared to the originals.

In summary, I lost $50 including shipping.

These memory foam ear tips, provide a better seal in the ear. They don’t slip out like the silicone one’s that apple provides with the Air Pod Pro. For me they also seem to improve bass frequencies, due to the better seal.

I am using the XL ear tip size, but I kind of have a big cranium haha. Thank you Dekoni!.

These xl tips are awesome! Comfortable and don’t pop off like other brands and fit perfectly in the air pod pro case. Without these my air pod pros were worthless.

Broke the first pair trying to get them to fit so bought a second pair. Working well so far.

i’ve been enjoying these new eartips a lot since i’ve received them. they provide more noise cancelling than the stock ear tips of airpod pros. they are slightly more comfortable as well. however, i’ve noticed that cosmetic damage to the memory foam ear tips is a lot easier just because that’s how memory foam is.

overall, it’s worth the money and it saves a lot of battery life because i don’t have to use the active noise cancellation on my airpods.

First tried a cheaper brand for $16. 99 for 12. Garbage. Hard to install. Foam breaks into pieces. Worse yet the case won’t close even with using the smallest Apple tips. They did stay in ear better than the OEM Apple tips though.

Airfome do exactly what they are advertised to do. Mesh ear wax filters installed in each. No ring to snap into each one as they are built in now. Compressible foam expands in your canal and they have yet to pop out on me after a weeks use.

Apple OEM tips always eventually popped out no matter which size and even after swabbing my outer canal with alcohol to give them a better non slip grip. With Aifome you get exactly what you paid for.

The only thing I can’t comment on is their potential longevity of the foam as it’s only my first week. Update 1 month later. I think from constantly pulling them on and off switching between the Apple silicone ones and these Foam Masters I prematurely wore the plastic female indent which holds them securely to the air pod speaker which was causing them to not hold as tightly to the speaker as when they were new.

All it took was an email to the seller and they sent me a replacement of my size in a few days which came already today. Talk about a responsive seller. Two thumbs up!!!.

Great product, works and fits perfectly. I don’t even know what size I am but I feel like the Medium set works very nicely for me, if a ever so slightly too “filling”. Even so, I don’t run into any issues with discomfort, and it dampens ambient noise nicely, which is especially effective with the noise cancellation feature.

Don’t clean them with rubbing alcohol though. I bought these because I learned that the hard way with the original earbuds. Rubbing alcohol eats various types of foams. My Audio Technica earbuds came with several different types and sizes of fittings, I never liked the plastic ones much, so I gave the foam ones a try and loved them, so I bought this set to replace the ones I destroyed.

If you’ve never tried the foam ones, these are definitely worth buying if you don’t like the standard plastic ones.

The largest airpod cushions were still loose. The memory foam cushions holds a little better in just my left ear. Being foam, I really thought they be a big oversized from Apple standard, but they’re really about the same.

I stumbled upon these one time I was in store and figured I would give them a shot, as my headphones wouldn’t always stay put in my ear while I worked. The ends for the pod are amazing! The little wing at the end keeps the pod comfortably snug in place, being just about unnoticed.

I haven’t used the ear hook or the strap for behind-the-head attachment, but both seem like they’ll be just as useful. At the time of me writing this, it says the price is around $20, but when I had bought them my receipt says they were $10, so I’m kind of torn as to value, because I would say that about $12, maaaaaybe $15 is the best price for these (they would Absolutely be 5 stars at 12 or 15), but the times we live in, I guess.

Overall, if you have trouble keeping your earpods in your head, heavily consider these!.

So of course I am one of many who was frustrated with how the AirPods would “try” and conform to a universal type standard to fit into most ears but failed. After a while I got fed up with the frequent worrying of having one or both of them fall out at inopportune times so I decided to do something about it.

I admit I looked on Amazon first. Surprisingly, I was not impressed with the selection. So I turned to Best Buy. Wouldn’t you know they had these pop right up with plenty of reviews to reference. I stopped by the local store and picked them up for myself and I have to say I am impressed for the value of what you get here.

They offer different size silicone tips (the medium ones ended up being ideal for me), plus the ear hooks which almost give the AirPods a PowerBeats Pro-like feel as far as how secure they are. And finally, there’s the band to link them together behind your head if you so choose.

Not too shabby. My ONE complaint is this: getting these tips on the AirPods is NOT an easy task, at least not for me. I really have to stretch these guys out and around the AirPods much more than anticipated.

They’re fine once they’re on there, but I’m afraid of how resilient they will be with repeated use and this kind of stretching. If they end up tearing after only a short while, then it’s kind of money down the drain as the small and large tips are useless to me and I have to buy a whole new set.

AirPods and Apple headphones are trash. They do no stay in at all. These in ear silicon pieces are a godsend. Different sizes for all ear types. Has helped immensely. Highly recommend. Useful one AirPods for all activities like lifting, Olympic lifting, running and basketball.

I’ve purchased the AirTips Pros because the silicon tips that came with my AirPod Pros just wouldn’t stay in my ears when running, lifting or during other activities. Now, after a month of using the AirTips Pros, I must say that they are incredible.

Comfortable. Clean. Great fit. All best describe the new tips for my AirPod Pros! Before I couldn’t achieve a comfortable and secure fit. Due to surgery in my right ear, the ear canal opening was left slightly larger than normal.

I tried all three tips (original equipment) but was unable to find the right fit. However, with the AirTips Pro I have found a fantastic solution!.

After having for months – These work great. I run hard and these helped AirPods from slipping out of my ears. But I wish these was a convenient way to store them with the AirPods because I’m a pretty organized and careful person but I have lost one of them.

If they could attach somehow to the AirPod case, it would help. Not as good with just one of them now.

I always have problem with my right ear buds popping out and these have really helped on keeping them tucked and steady. My only wish was that I would not have to have to remove the sleeve to get the pods charged and in their case and have to figure out where to keep the sleeve same in the meantime form our cat who ends to play with the sleeve.

Overall it fit my need of keeping my pods in my ears.

These are amazing! So simple to use they pop right on the AirPods and I can jump around and workout without the AirPods moving or falling out. The only thing is you need to remove them in order to put your AirPods in the case to charge.

So you need to put them on and off with each use.

One thing I’ve noticed with my AirPod Pros is that if I use them for an extended period of time, my ears start to hurt. I read online that switching to a foam tip instead of the Apple silicon provided some people with relief.

I needed to find something since I work from home and spend the bulk of my day on video calls on my iMac. I picked up the Comply tips and went with the Medium size since that’s the size of the silicon tips I use that came with my AirPod Pros.

Switching out the tips was easy enough, just be sure you do it gently because you could accidentally damage the tips or worse, the AirPods if you just try and yank them off. The way they clip on, it feels like they’re magnetic, but it’s just a small clip mechanism.

Once I put them in, I noticed a different feel immediately. I didn’t think going from silicon to foam would be that noticeable but it was! I’ve been able to do several hours on conference calls and video calls without feeling the pain or pressure inside my ears.

2 things of note from my experience though that prevent me from rating these 5 stars: 1- The tips are black, so dirt shows up really easy. I went on a run with them and I noticed that there was grime, sweat, and gunk on them afterwards that was almost impossible to remove completely.

2- For whatever reason, once I switched to these tips I could not get my iPhone 12 Pro to show the tips passed the Apple seal test. It kept recommending to try a different size or reposition them. Last time I checked, I knew how to put an earbud into my ears and make it fit, so not sure if that’s Apple somehow knowing I’m using a part they didn’t make or if the foam allows more sound through compared to silicon.

Either way, if you have a pair of AirPod Pros and you spend several hours on calls with them, I would recommend these tips. They certainly make calls more bearable, and you get 3 of the same size tips in a package as opposed to the Apple ones – where you get one of each size.

It’s absurd that Apple doesn’t use foam in their tips, because this one simple trick takes the ‘Pods from overpriced white garbage to just short of magical. The bad: they sometimes prevent the Airpods from charging, which is mildly annoying, but more importantly they don’t last.

I bought this multipack about a year ago, and the sixth tip has now gone kaputt. A few of them got gross and lost their elasticity, but most of them simply fell off the pods due to the plastic clips cracking.

After trying them all out to find the best size, I didn’t switch them out until they broke, so it’s not like I was putting them under a ton of stress by constantly clipping and unclipping them. They just don’t stand up to the stress of being used normally, put into and removed from their case.

Unfortunately, they’re too small for my unwieldy fingers to repair, so they’re now useless and my only option, if I want to continue using my Airpods with good sound quality while I’m not sitting completely still and holding my breath, is to Buy More Disposable Products.

That’s disappointing. I don’t like buying products that are guaranteed to go into landfills. I’d happily pay a bit more for higher quality plastic or more precise manufacturing. Despite being wildly disappointed at the durability of these suckers, I’m still giving four stars, because the difference in quality is that high.

These take the comfort and stability of wearing your airpod pros to a whole different level. With the addition of these comfy bois, I can rip my mountain bike wearing these and they have never fallen out.

Not once. Stock Apple silicon ear sizes never stayed in my ear correctly. Always was reaching up to adjust them every few minutes. Would have never trusted them out doing activities or just moving around the house.

Hell, they wouldn’t even stay in when looking down! These stay in, and don’t budge. Really helps seal the fit to your ear, and maintain that perfect noise cancellation. Make sure you twist them in like the instructions show! They stay in place far better with the twist technique.

I originally bought these because my AirPods would not stay in my ears no matter what I did, even just sitting and doing nothing they would pop out. It’s gotten so bad recently that my AirPods haven’t even really been usable.

I bought these to try and fix that problem and it is everything I wanted and more. They stay in my ears even if I bounce around and shake my head, and I haven’t experienced any discomfort (I use the smallest size).

I was a little scared to buy these after seeing reviews about other foam AirPod tips ruining the sound quality and noise cancellation, but these are amazing. Not only do they not worsen the sound quality at all, they actually make the noise cancellation even BETTER.

With the regular AirPod tips I could still hear some outside noise with the noise cancellation, but with these it is DEAD silent. Another bonus is that these do not impact the ability to put them in the case, they fit right in, so you wouldn’t have to worry about popping them on and off all the time.

I can’t speak for the effectiveness of other foam AirPod tips, but I can speak for these and they have been perfect!.

This AirPods case is made of silicone and effectively protects the AirPods case from scratches and bumps. It easily fits onto the AirPods case like a glove and doesn’t inhibit the normal use of the case.

It looks great, comes in several colors, and doesn’t collect lint like other silicone cases I’ve tried. I recommend the Laut AirPods case.

Loop broke after a couple of weeks on my lanyard. Good thing I saw it when it fell so I didn’t loose my AirPods.

The Apple Airpods are rather large and are made of a hard, smooth composite which makes it difficult to keep them snuggly fitted for good audio production to fully enjoy the iPhone music player. The EarBuddyz solves this problem for those of us with smaller ears.

This product is made of a soft and is combined with a very clever design to keep the Airpods comfortably in the ear canal. The only drawback noted is the EarBuddyz will need to be removed from the Airpods to charge the batteries, but are easily remounted.

These things are pretty cool. They help keep the AirPods in your ear and they improve the sound quality a bit, and keep a bit of the outside surround noise level down. Only down side is you have to take them on and off each time so the AirPods charge, but its not a deal breaker for I put them in once they stay and then a while later Im done so its cool.

These are great for keeping the airpods from falling out during peloton rides. Just have to put them on and take them off to use the case.

Wanted these for aesthetic reasons to go along with my moondrop Variations. The medium (default) ear tips fit me perfectly so I went with medium Spring Tips. The diameter where the Spring Tips go over the ear bud nozzle is much smaller, making it cumbersome to install.

Highly recommend installing the stick on filters after installing the Spring Tips, else you’ll be wasting many filters. The standard ear tips essentially glide right on the nozzle compared to these. Unfortunately these do not seal in my ears like the standard medium tips.

Not even one second and they will shift and pop out my ear, music becoming unlistenable. I suspect it’s because of the grey band at the base adds to the already thick nozzle of the Variations, making it way too large to seal in place.

I’ve instead tested the Spring Tips with KZ ZEX Pro x Crinacle, easy to swap and seal remains intact albeit not as good as the default ear tips. Sub bass is extremely weakened and treble volume felt muted.

Compared with the standard KZ ear tips, the Spring Tips feel very thin and somewhat flimsy. I think the seal issues I’m having maybe due to the overall length of these buds, they’re much shorter than KZ Pro and the Variations.

I feel like maybe the Large size would suit me better, but I will not be purchasing to find out. Wish there was a variety pack sold with all 3 sizes to help avoid seal/fitment issues.
