This time GE disappointed me the first time i apply 1 year ago it was good now that i put over more cause my bathtub needed more it was all peeling glue nasty product and the price is high it should be $2.

99 not $4. 99 is not worth it if it was good the they selling it for it would be worth it plus is. a tiny bottle it doesn’t even have enough for the whole bathtub you will need like 8 of this mad if your bathtub is deep you’ll need like 20 tiny not enough inside and high price no way last time buying this I was going to buy 5 but now that I seen that it converted to peeling glue is a never buy.

Stay with red devil grout put all around the bathtub and it will be better grout will be stronger and feel like cement hard just clean your bathtub twice a week to keep your bathtub out of mold and dirty mud that’s wh what happened to me 5 years ago the grout got dirty with mold that I had to scratch all the dirty grout.

Now I’m suffering trying to fix the bathtub myself cause I don’t want to pay high amount of money. I’m giving up cause no product i I tried works to be honest pay more hired a professional.

It’s just arrive in time, fast shipment!!!! Hubby just used it right away around our kitchen sink before the holidays when the whole families of both sides comes before Christmas. So far, it looks good and everything quietly done but still have leftovers for the other area of our house.

Env: development I enjoy caulking my bathtub. I didn’t know at first that there is mold and mildew resistance caulk and even though I did a very neat job caulking my tub, it didn’t take long for the black spots of mildew to appear.

I didn’t know what I had done wrong until I went to Lowes and was reading the bottles of the different caulk they sell. After realizing the difference, I know now that there is no comparison, I will only buy the mold and mildew resistant caulk from now on.

You may pay a little more up front, but in the long term, you are saving money (not to mention the work it takes to reapply caulking too). GE Silicone II Kitchen & Bath Caulk is mold and mildew resistant and has a five-year mold-free product protection.

Being a silicone caulk is what gives it this mold and mildew resistant quality, and it also is better cause it won’t yellow or discolor and has outstanding adhesion and long life. I think it just looks better, shinier and cleaner.

But the best reason to use this caulk is that it continues to look good for years, while the cheaper caulk won’t last long at all (maybe even within weeks)and you just have to redo it over and over. Env: development.

Env: development I have used GE Silicone II Kitchen & Bath Caulk for years, though I made the mistake recently of buying something cheaper. Unforunately that ran all over the place and wasn’t waterproof and well, let’s just say I paid for my mistake in both my time and money.

That won’t happen with GE Silicone II Kitchen & Bath Caulk. It comes in a small tube to apply on your own as well as large tubes that work with a caulk gun. This caulk adheres to your tub or tile quickly and is shower ready in just three hours.

That means that once applied, you have to work quickly because it sets fast, but it is worth it. It sticks perfectly and smoothes out easily. I personally still wait the 24 hours because I am paranoid about caulk, but you can tell that it is useable within the 3 hour time frame they claim.

It comes with a 5 year mold free guarantee. The 100% silicone is waterproof and flexible. It is also shrink-proof. It comes in clear, white and almond. Though it’s a little pricier than some caulk, it is worth every penny.

I tried this silicone on my bathroom sliding shower doors, that I was installing. Used this to seal the edges around the base, waited a few hours before using the shower, and the water slide right off the silicone without absorbing it.

Dried perfectly!.

This product worked exactly as advertised. A little goes a long way. I used it to seal the grout between the new countertop and existing tile backsplash. If you use too much it looks like there’s a bunch of Vaseline so use sparingly.

Just enough to put a sheer layer is enough for waterproofing. A couple of notes: You will see a bunch of reviews saying the container exploded on them. This is most likely because they didn’t break the seal.

You need to poke a hole in the seal in addition to cutting the tip off. Also, the product smells very strongly of vinegar. I don’t mind it. In fact I prefer it to the chemical odor of other sealants.

All in all I was very happy with this product.

I allowed this to cure for over 48 hours and it seemed dry and set. But the first time it got damp it turned to sticky jelly! I noticed there was no use by date on it which concerned me. But after using it it seemed to set well.

It never occurred to me that it wouldn’t hold up to dampness. And it was a brief period of dampness. This is the third Gorilla product I’ve bought from DiscoverMyStore, and all three have been unsatisfactory.

I’ve learned my lesson.

Item was very messy because tubing is not sturdy. The base of the tube kept popping off and the silicon was very hard to get to come from the top of the tube. Had to throw the entire tube away because the base kept sliding off and couldn’t stop the product from seeping from the top.

Really messed up my project. Not the seller’s fault at all. Just not good packaging for the product.

I have tried different brands of silicone over the years and most are pretty much the same, with the biggest variation being price. Caulking is a good thing given the caulk holds up and works. I find 100% silicone is very effective in sealing and being waterproof.

Lasts. Dries clear like it should. Fills the cracks like caulking is supposed to. A bit goopy, but that’s normal The clean up is a bit more than other acrylic caulking, you need mineral spirits. So wear gloves.

2. If you use it attach natural stones to something, be aware that very porous stones like limestone or sandstone may react adversely and dissolve over a few weeks. Silicone is more than caulk. It’s also a great adhesive.

I used this product to adhere mylar-backed bubble insulation to my garage doors. It sets up quickly and holds most materials. Most importantly, it doesn’t get hard, brittle or shrink, so it will last a very very long time.

I used this to seal up where the backsplash was separating from the wall. I hope to keep out water from dripping behind there and bugs from going behind there. I cut the tip to the smallest size because I didn’t want to create a goopy mess.

Dispensing the product was super easy. It might take a little strength to squeeze it out thought especially if you are using the smallest opening. But once you get it going and get the hang of it, it’s easy to use.

I squeezed out a line and was happy that it’s not super noticeable. The pics are before and after applying, but I went a step further and smoothed out the line (not pictured) to make things look a little neater.

That was easy too as long as you do it immediately before the sealant starts to cure.

I have found so many great uses for this sealant! I love that it’s clear. We have done a door frame repair, a window leak repair, and sealed up some old weather stripping with this stuff. It hasn’t failed us and does a great job even when it gets wet.

The sealant still holds. I will say that you need to be careful with the tube. Instead of squeezing it out, start by rolling the bottom a little at a time to get the sealant out. It will save you some frustration of wasting product.

But honestly, it is such a versatile sealant that you will find so many uses for. You’ll want to always have a tube of this around the house for repairs. I give it 5 stars without hesitation.

For background, I’ve been extremely disappointed with commercially available crack fillers for my asphalt driveway. They temporarily fill the cracks and then due to the differences in coefficient of expansion and a lack of elasticity they also crack.

Using this product (black silicone) to seal out moisture and prevent plants from growing in the asphalt is the right solution. It expands and contracts with the driveway and brilliantly provides its primary purpose of sealing out moisture and plants which degrade and damage the asphalt.

It will prevent asphault sealers from adhering to your driveway affecting asthetics of the drive but that’s an acceptable trade off for me in what it does. Thumbs up!.

Seems to work okay, but super duper stinky. The fumes are so aggressive, they sting your eyes as you’re working. Definitely do what the bottle says and wear goggles (and gloves) while working, and air out the space afterwards.

I used this silicone seal in my bathroom and fill up a gap at the edge of my shower stall. It is easy to apply and instructions are easy to follow. I am happy with the end results. No more leaking afterwards.

It performs well and have slightly shorter curing time than others. I would definitely consider this item again next time I need a silicone sealant for my kitchen or bathroom. I was aware of this product before participating in this program but I have never bought it before.

I used this caulk for two projects: sealing the base of my shower and attaching the caps to my railing on my back porch. First of all, the caulk came out really easily. I punctured the foil, and the caulk came out really smoothly as it should- not too fast, but fast enough to be controlled.

The application of the caulk went fine with my railing- I was able to control the rate of application and it went perfect. When I needed to temporarily stop the caulking I was able to stop the bead and control it inside.

I ran into a few issues with the application at the base of my shower. I had already removed the previous caulk and mold so that I could just apply the caulk, but even just with the application in the front of the shower it smelled so bad I had to stop and walk away.

The odor was like a really intense vinegar smell. So strongly that my child in an adjacent room asked why I was pouring vinegar. In a way this was nice so that I could wait for it to dry and check on the color.

It did, in fact, dry clear, which is nice. I was able to finish my shower project, but the pressure of the caulk during the last half of my shower project was very inconsistent. At times it wouldn’t come out, and then it would just spurt uncontrollably, so it made a huge mess I had to clean up later.

I suspect some kind of bubble or something inside the caulk tube itself? Anyway, overall it was a fine caulk, but the smell made it unbearable.

Clear bathroom silicone applied easily, and produced a consistently sized “bead”, from caulking gun. Cleaned up with soap and water without difficulty. Applied silicone can be easily “shaped”, after a few minutes of application, with a finger dipped in a diluted mixture of dish soap and water.

The applicator comes with an auto-smoothing tool which is an added bonus for ease of application. I used the white color and within minutes the old silicone around my bathroom sinks was easily sealed.

You must avoid water contact for 6 hours to allow the sealant to dry and within 24 hours the sealant is fully cured. You can store this convenient-sized container for up to one month after opening. The sealant will cover about 16 feet.

The applicator is so easy to hold in your hand during application and also easy to store. The Re-New sealant is definitely going to be a handy DIY project in my home. The results are amazing.

The GE Renew Squeeze Bottle Caulk was the prefect amount to go around the tub and prevent waste of a tube of caulking that would just get tossed. I really liked it could be dispensed right over the top of the current caulking and it adhered and covered really well.

The applicator tip is pretty good, though I still used a wet finger to smooth for a nicer, rounded finish. The scent wasn’t overbearing like some caulking, and it seemed to dry quicker then some other brands.

I think this is a pretty good product and will see how it holds up. If so, it will be a great addition to the toolbox for quick jobs due to ease of use and no waste. I only deducted points as the applicator could have been better adapted for rounded corner, which is common in met caulking applications.

I used this product to give my bathroom shower caulking a fresh new look and I’m no longer embarrassed by my shower area. The instructions are great and I was able to follow them easily. I’m not the handiest person so I usually pay contractors to repair most things around the house.

I used this when I ran out of a higher priced caulk. I caulked around some windows outside. This caulk was runny and dripped slightly. A few days later, I checked it, and it was dry, but it appeared lighter white than the other brand I used.

I subsequently painted some wood parts around the window, and even after using primer, the paint would streak on this caulk a lot. I know silicone is not great for painting, but the other brand of caulk was also a silicone, and paint adhered to it after proper priming.

It seems like it filled in gaps okay, but time will reveal if it lasts as long without cracking or peeling.

It cures to a rubbery and stretchy consistency, useful for all types of sealing purposes. Doesn’t crack the way acrylic sealants tend to do over time. The tube is not resealable after opening as it has no cap, so you have to make provisions to seal it yourself or just use the tube up in one shot.

Texture is inconsistent. Every other inch, it comes out in little balls then becomes smooth. I thought the cut off angle was too small so I cut it and tried again many times. No end to this clumps. Had to remove all caulk and repeat process.

Caulk felt old and dried out. Numbers on crimp unuseful; does not state the date. Will not buy Dab again.

It’s a fraction of the cost of their forever white product. all I can think/hope is the micro ban in forever costs bomb and is worth it (because I bought this for the shower tray front). I used this on less critical/vertical joints outside the shower or backfilling and meh! It seemed to work just as well on the day! Kept the costs down which is becoming a consideration with the insane rises in materials! Perhaps slightly off white?? Great to see they are using more recycled plastic in the cartridges now.

In the last year I have found this sealant to poorly bond on baths and shower trays, I’ve been using it for a few years without problem until recently. The last occasion was poor bond to a bath, the bath edge was braced to the floor with timber and had no movement, but the silicon had almost no bonding and just peeled off.

I have been cleaning the surfaces with meths and wet wipes then drying prior to sealing. Now changed to a different brand as can’t afford to keep returning to failures.

And an other great value product. With so many of this type product available it’s quite difficult to compare them. The brand is very good value and with the added sanitary protection seems perfect for my requirements.

Time will tell on quality and it is impossible to say anything else without time to see how the product lasts etc.

TO BE AVOIDED Needed to reseal around the bath so bought this branded relatively expensive product – what a mistake. Spent hours removing every last bit of the old sealant, cleaning and thoroughly drying the surfaces before sealing.

Left unused for several days to ensure fully cured,- but it simply did not seal to the bath and leaked after 2/3 days. Now in the process of removing and replacing. Will not be buying Unibond again.

Been using this around the bath and basins for several years. None of the other sealants I have used give long term protection against mould. Have also used it to seal around our conservatory roof, which has been very successful in preventing the growth of mould.
