20 Best Silicone Gel For Keloids (2023 Updated)

I bought this product to help reduce the appearance of a big scar I have on my knee. I have been using it for about a month now and I am slowly seeing improvement in the appearance as there are now small white spots forming over the very dark pigment of the scar.

I only gave it 4 stars because I haven’t been using it long enough to see the full effect. So far this is the best scar cream I’ve used. I’ve tried others for years without any change in my scar. Also, as a side note, the scar I am using it on is a large round scar about the size of a nickel.

I think if you were using this cream on a small typical scar you would see results much faster.

I can’t begin to tell you how I pleased I am with the RejuvaSil. I had Mohs surgery on my nose and then plastic surgery to my nose the next day. When the sutures were removed my doctor suggested a silicone scar gel.

I went on line and purchased your product. It arrived in a few days. I saw a definite improvement in my nose scar in about one week. I am still using the product until I return to see my surgeon but friends and family sat they can hardly see the scar.

The fact that it was on my face I was very concerned and somewhat embarrassed but I can honestly say that I am extremely impressed with the results since my scar is barely visible. Thank you for making such a wonderful product.

Silicone scar gel is amazing. I started out buying an over-the-counter scar gel, that did not agree with my skin and caused a rash. RejuvaSil Silicone scar gel was amazing on the skin! Goes on so smooth, dries perfectly.

No sticky feeling no residue left behind. And so far is working wonderfully on my scars! I will definitely be repurchasing.

I used New Gel with E on a surgery wound morning and night. It softened the scar and made the scar lighter in color. There was a dip in an old scar. After applying the New Gel twice a day it appears the dip leveled off.

Love this Silicone Gel! I used it for a scar on my leg and now its barely visible. This is a product we would recommend to patients after having cosmetic surgery to minimize the appearance of their scar and I have seen this stuff work wonders.

Its definitely has helped an old deep scar I’ve had for over a year now. I highly recommend New Gel, I also lightly scrub the scar with a paste of water and baking soda occasionally. The scar has got flatter and smoother with out a doubt.

I should of used the New Gel right after the injury happened because I know it would of made the healing almost unnoticed.

I was recommended to use Dermatix by the surgeon who carried out my operation. This was to remove a wart which had appeared above my eyebrow. I waited for 5 weeks to ensure it was doing what I wanted.

I have been using it twice daily in that time and I can say I am very pleased with the results. I was concerned about whether I would have enough for 2 months applications but the 15g tube was ample.

The price has increased by 2 since my purchase but for what it does I believe its still worth the extra.

I have not used this product previously and did not feel it made much difference initially. However in the past month I notice when I don’t use the dermatix silicone then the itching and swelling comes back.

Definitely will continue using as scarring has definitely reduced.

The gel itself is really good and does exactly what it says on the box and instructions. The gel squeezes out slowing making sure you dont waste any. It has helped with my scar healing so I would definitely recommend this product.

The downside to the product is its size not impressed with how small is actually is when you takeout out of the box !!! I will be looking to buy a bigger tube next time but will definitely shop around for the best deal.

I use Kelo Cote for the scar on the wrist. I did not see any improvement in the appearance of the scar, but the skin is softer. When the skin around my fingers is very dry in winter, I also apply it to prevent my skin from cracking.

I have been using this product for about a week and , so far, I like it very much. I used one other brand and a spray silicone gel prior to this. It goes on easily and has almost a silky feel. Not sure about scar reduction yet, but I will keep using it.

This product is amazing! I have cystic acne which leaves horrible scarring and this product actually made them smoother and less noticable! Even on older scars it helped even them out! It can also acts as a primer and helps makeup glide on more evenly.

As with all products, the key is repitition – apply a small layer onto the affected area and gently massage it in and let dry. I have a 15g tube that has lasted for over 5 months now! I definately recommend this product without hesitation!.

I developed a keloid after a mole shave excision. I had been using Kelo-cote before the keloid developed. It wasn’t enough to prevent the keloid (for me) but, then, neither was the steroid cream my doctor prescribed.

After weeks of the cream, it took 5 steroid injections over 3 months for the keloid to go down in size and get under control. However, there has been a little bit of irritation since. I had continued to use the Kelo-cote after the injections ended.

It doesn’t dry quickly and so I cover it with Mepitac silicone tape, which I think helps as well. When the tube ran out (then 9mths after excision), I bought a cheaper brand available in my local pharmacy.

The keloid became progressively irritated and started becoming more raised over the next 3 wks. I was worried it would lead to more injections. After the new tube of Kelo-cote arrived, the itching settled down within days.

This silicon cream does slowly remove scars. It is an interesting process. Some just slowly fade. Lumps go away, while other areas are raised. Still others change shape and or texture. = on second tube and am having fun with this.
