it is great. I wish that the ends were cut more square. after cutting one end square I had about 2 inches to work with of spare material instead if 10 inches. other than that my cab over rebuild went great.
I’m giving 5 stars because the product itself is good and was packaged and shipped well at a reasonable cost. This was a difficult repair for amateur like us. The company recommends 3m 1357 but there is no information about applying and using this product.
The can scares the heck out of you as it’s very caustic. We replaced the front of our camper filon over Luan. We cracked the luan on our first dry run. not enough people. We were able to get the job done with more people but it was not easy!!!.

Seemed all good, what do you expect, as thin as it can be, and make sure you take you siding in to the shop to get a paint match. Of course you know where they are, but others can’t tell really after painting.
If you have a real hole and not cracks, you kind of need to fill it with something, so it isn’t obvious after adhering/.
if you match your patch it is almost virtually hard to spot. I am getting another pack. We are selling our home and this has saved us $$$$. I highly recommend, need to make sure you clean and wipe with alcohol, make sure its dry warm day and that it will not rain in at least 24 hours.
I rushed a couple of mine and have to do it over because it rained right after I applied and painted. But other than that I am very impressed.

Didn’t work well for me. Maybe hteis is limited to certain types of vinyle siding or siding installed certain ways – I don’t know – but it doesn’t work well: virtually impossible to get behind the siding then when you finally do it doesn’t disconnect the siding.

We installed this in 2008 on a 40′ x 80′ barn. Now 14 years later all the siding still looks as if new. Everyone comments on how impressed they are at the finish as it looks like real wood. No peeling, no paint fading, no buckled nor rotten boards.

Lightweight and easy to work with. The finished product looks incredible, even when relatively close. It is a bit more challenging to install on a sloping grade rather than zero grade, as you must work up from near the bottom (with the starter strip) while keeping the top consistent and even.

These were wonderful Cedar Shingles. If my memory serves me correct – in their description it stated how many sq. ft. each bundle covered – which was EXTREMELY helpful! Not having ANY experience in this (because this was being used inside on a wall) I was a little scared about measurements.
To be on the safe side, I ordered 2 bundles. Thank goodness I did – one bundle would have been ample – however having two bundles enabled me to pick and choose the “perfect” shingle (bc I am ocd) each time – both size and color! My advice – Don’t just purchase exactly what you need – depending on your project (size-wise) get 1-2 extra bundles!! You won’t be disappointed.
Purchased five (5) bundles of these shims for a home improvement project and was nervous to receive based on very reasonable price and some negative feedback. Well I am completely delighted with product and can’t wait to begin this fall.
