As a 25 year veteran chef I’ve had many a jerk item. This product. Is perfect. It’s got flavour it’s got heat and it’s versatile. Worth every dime. The marinade is better than the paste.

The best jerk marinade! So easy, so quick and punchy flavours. I pour over chicken or pork, leave for a hour or so and grill/fry/bake. So simple and fantastic flavour. I cannot buy it in Ireland, so it is a treat when we manage to get our hands on a bottle!.

This was new to me and the first time trying it. I used it to flavor some beans and the flavor was not bad at all. The seasoning was not too strong but did give a different taste. I would buy again and I intend to use it in other dishes.

I recently ran across this while in Walmart. I was ecstatic to find this flavor. I decided to use this on my turkey cutlets. I was so pleased with the flavor.

This taste like the curry chicken from Caribbean restaurant. It is very spicy, and I am someone who enjoys spicy food such as Wasabi. Add favorite spices such as poultry seasoning, coconut milk, etc.

As others have said, this jerk seasoning is sooooo good!! But. it is reallllllly hot! I have tried it mostly with pork, flatten out a pork shoulder to make it even or boneless country ribs. Chicken, of course, is also really good.

Butterfly a whole chicken, get under the skin to spread directly on the meat. First time i made it, i spread it on thick to marinate overnight–wasn’t sure if it would have enough flavor. Way too hot!! Taste is off the charts, but i would have to pause for a min half way thru to let me mouth cool.

Would recommend not to put too much on if you going to marinate. But, it is well worth the taste and price. I ordered a dozen of them to last thru the summer. Definitely a must buy!!.

I marinated my chicken overnight using this and Jamaican green seasoning and the flavor was delicious. I would definitely recommend using for your jerk recipes. However it is not super spicy if that is what you are looking for.

It just delivers a nice satisfying heat.

Wow. I had this tonight for the first time. I served it with chicken and broccoli on a bed of cauliflower rice. It felt like a cheat meal yet there is no sugar. Starts off sweet and packs a punch at the end from the red pepper puree.

If you are looking for the precise taste of sweet Thai chili sauce with a bit of a kick, look no further. Amazing.

Ohmygosh! This is sooo good for being sugar free! I actaully felt “guilty” because I thought it was loades with sugar from the taste, but it’s basically “guiltless” I deducted 1 star because it has a very VERY slight aftertaste, but nothing unpleasant.

This is definitely worth rhe extra cost to stay away from all the added sugar of most.

Wasn’t my favorite for my jerk chicken. Had a sweeter, more cinnamon smell to me. I prefer jerk chicken more spicy. Not a bad seasoning. Just a personal preference. Will try it on something else.

I purchased this product as a “test” item and it has become a staple. The only issue is I recently moved from GA to TX and I cannot find it here. Wal-Mart does not have it available on ship to store so the customer has to pay shipping.

To avoid that I will either grab extras when I go back or try to get a local store to order it for I know others will love it once they try it.

This is a very nice mix. It has right amount of heat so most people can enjoy it. The flavour is complex and slightly smoky side. The colour is rIch and brightens the final product. I gave it a 4 star because it has more sugar then is necessary.

Dial back the sugar and it’s a 5 star!.

I’m Jamaican and this mix comes close in flavor to authentic. I use this mix with a few other items to marinate my meat and it’s a winner. Tip for more flavor add ground nutmeg allspice berries cloves cinnamon.

I can’t tell you measurements because I was thought to eye it.

A little goes a long way with this great stuff. Very tasty but very strong, so be careful. Add water or oil to create more of a spread paste. It’s a thick paste sauce. Too much can be very salty.

My family is Caribbean. We’ve used this brand to jerk chicken. It pretty good. Especially since I don’t like things too hot. You can use less or more for that spicy kick.

Suppose to be three bottles of “mild”. I got 2 mild one of them is broken and the third is hot. Very upset…

I have purchased this GV jerk seasoning mix several times. I like that the flavor is mouthwatering on steak too as well as chicken. I will admit that I am not a fan of hot peppery spices so the second time I used this seasoning, I added largely chopped pieces of tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, celery and carrots to the dish and the taste was then not so spicy.

A pot of rice made this a delicious and tasty meal!.

This is the brand of jerk seasoning I always purchase and bring back on my trips to Jamaica. Highly recommended but be advised that it includes both salt and sugar.

I usually marinade my pork chops overnight in this seasoning then bake or fry the next day. It’s a wonderful light flavor. I put A-1 sauce on the pork when it’s finished. The combination of flavors is amazing! This marinade is also good for chicken.

Marinade it overnight, then you can cook the marinaded chicken any way you like. I recommend breading and deep frying, but for a lower fat option, you can bake it. The chicken will turn out tender and juicy.

I used to be able to buy this in-store, but now have to order online.

I got this marinade when I purchased my new BBQ. I used oil instead of lemon juice, marinated the chicken for a day in the fridge. I put them in skewers and they turned out absolutely delicious. I got compliments at work that my lunch smelt so good.

I shared the link of this marinade with my co-workers. Now, I’m going to try the rest of the marinades. ;).

Not too salty at all just the way I like it. I never like it when vendor load up the salt, I’d rather control the salt on my own. That being said, this is the classic Jerk flavor, it’s mild. Not too overwhelming, just perfect for what I need.

I used this to make my Jerk Fried Jerk wings. Easy recipe. Fry wings…throw them in a bowl…sprinke Durkee Jerk seasoning….and toss. Serve with Ranch dressing. Lip smacking good

This is my go to spice for roasting chicken and pork. It gives it the right amount of flavor for the taste you are trying to get. Ive only had compliments when made for pot lucks. It is a very versitile spice.

I use this spice blend at least once a week. I generally follow the recipe for the marinade found on this site though I don’t follow the measurements exactly. just use the juice from 1 orange and 1 lime and then add some soy sauce.

It is a simple marinade that takes only a minute to toss together and the meat comes out excellent! I’ve done both pork and chicken and both have been delicious though I mostly use it on chicken breasts that I grill for a simple weeknight meal.

My picky husband loves it and doesn’t find it too spicy. I recommend grilling some extra chicken as the leftover sliced meat is great tossed in a grain bowl or salad for lunch.

Savory Spice jerk seasoning is the most delicious, authentic Jamaican jerk seasoning out there ! My husband and i have been to Jamaica 13 times, so believe you me. I marinate either chicken thighs or pork end pork chops over night, then pour it all in a crock pot to slow cook for 6 hours.

I serve over rice and use the cooking juice separately to ladle on top. It tastes exactly as if we were back to our home away from home. Signed a true “Ja-merican”.

Great blend and flavorful but i find it isnt quite spicy enough on its own so i just add some more peppers. Definitely will keep the pantry stocked with it though

Jamaican Spice – hard to find this product in the US. Took awhile to get but received in time frame promised. Product is as expected. Similar products in my local Jamaican grocery have MSG in them. This one is MSG free!.

There is only one place, those spices are coming from, and it’s Jamaica. They are unique and very special. I love it to use it on all the meats i cook. I just needed to wait for a long periode of time, cause going thru border.
