I am refurbishing a 2012 Yamaha. The old gunwale was is really rough shape. The original Yamaha gunwale was fitted. It was some type of pre-shaped metal with rubber on it. So the original fitment was very good.

During the install, I datummed from where the bottom hull molding met the top. The result was not perfect. So the shape is not match a clear flowing line. Rather a slightly choppy flow. So for Yamaha owners, that is an FYI.

As for the install, the base was easy. Drill a pilot hole, and install the screw. The holes are on the gunwale already every 6 inches or so. However, the smaller extrusion was AWFUL to install. The only way I was able to get the small extrusion to install was by datuming the bottom lip of the inner to the outer, and taking a flat head screw driver and pushing it in millimeter by milliliter, , , for all 48 ish freaking feet around the vessel.

My fingers really hurt. That is another thing. I don’t think this thing is 50′ in length. I didn’t measure, but I think it is cut short by a couple of feet. Overall the product is good, but good grief, I don’t ever want to install one again.

If your looking for something easy to install and a super clean finish this is not for you. It takes some work to lay it out and work with. I’m happy with the results but I had realistic expectations.

Putting in the center piece was actually quite easy after soaking in warm soapy water.

Instructions could have been a little bit more detailed, but it wasn’t really hard to figure out. Fairly easy assembly, looks to be great quality materials. Looks really nice in my boat.

Old El Paso stand-up taco shells are pretty good. Not perfect, but what is? I have to say that preparing tacos with these shells is SO much simpler than the thinner, regular shells which fall over as you try to stuff them.

These stay upright and let you prepare the tacos easier and better. However, I honestly have RARELY purchased a box of shells where 1 or more of the shells aren’t broken. I have to rattle the package off the shelf but I usually attribute broken shells to lazy, clumsy shelf-stocking staff.

So, I usually purchase 2 boxes. One for tacos and 1 for all the broken shells to use as tortilla chips. I would recommend these shells, even with the small, annoying issues.

I just bought and tried these nacho taco shells for the very fist time. They were on sale at my local grocery store and looked interesting, so I thought why not. I warmed them up in the oven at 325 degrees.

They look so good sizzling in the heat. When I took them out I could see the shells were also seasoned as some of the season remained on the foil I had baked them on. They held up well as I stuffed them with beyond meat crumbles, guacamole and shredded cheese.

They are a lot lighter weight and crispier than the standard shells. After the first bite, you instantly notice it has a bold salt-seasoned flavor and is so thin, crispy and delicious. The flavor mixes in well with the flavor of stuffed content.

Yummy! 😋 I had to come straight to write this review. I can’t go back to plain tacos after this!.

Old El Paso is my goto for soft or hard taco shells. They taste light and soft and are so versatile. We use them for breakfast wraps for a healthier option. They are great used for soft tacos because they hold up well and are the perfect size for handheld wraps.

Old El Paso is synonymous for Mexican cuisine but done American style. These flour tortillas are great for the asking price. We will probably always enjoy eating these ones , hope they never change the recipe.

The rod was really cooked! I’m very familiar with rod splines as I have built many rods in my day but this rod is just plain dog leg crooked. If I had seen this rod in person I would not have purchased it.

It is a 6 1/2, 2 piece rod and it arrived in one piece in a 8 ft long tube open at one end and it fell out of the tube when I picked it up from my porch! Not sure if it could have been damaged or bent from falling out of the tube during shipping like it did for me all though I don’t see how that could happen with out breaking it.

There was no packing slip with it. I purchased it for a friend as a gift but didn’t give it to him. Instead I went to Wallmart and bought another ugly stick that was not messed up to give him. If I had a packing slip and a reasonable way to send it back I would.

It looks to me like it could be a factory reject or something. I was very dissatisfied with the purchase.

Bought the rod before the price hike. Really liked it I caught a 30 pound black drum on the beach at Ft Pickens near Pensacola. Have since caught several medium sized reds with it. Ok, great! Great action for 10 pound line.

Then last Friday at Dauphin Island throwing a 2 oz surf weight the rod broke (snapped) above the large first guide on the forward swing of the cast. I was somewhat shocked to say the least. That’s never happened with me and this brand before.

Love me some Ugly Sticks! Anyway, I have 2 more of the same rods. Might consider adding a little more backbone toward the butt of the rod.

I brought 2 of these Combos a while back and they are working great. I’ve used them for both Fresh and Saltwater and the reels seem to hold up just fine provided you do the proper care after fishing.

These are light and you can feel the hits when they strike. The Rod itself is a beast I’ve had both of them get snagged and put them through some really tough bends and neither of them snapped, Uglystix holding true to there name.

These rods are a beast. Only Issue I had with the reel was I fell and landed with the reel hitting a boulder and bent the bail. Thats on me not the company, I was able to bend it back into place and make it work again so they can take some abuse :-).

I deffinetly recommend these combos.

Practicality they are great. Best things to use where you dont have a cleat but you have to have access to under the rail so you can put the nut and washers on. My big issue is Iv had two of the drop-ins break on me.

One being the spring and piston you push down to release the two small stainless balls that lock in place and the other was one of the small stainless balls had fallen out of the hole some how. Sadly the are held together by a small piece of rubber hose and a snap ring and if either let go it falls apart.

Also you cant buy just the drop in they only sell the base part. Taco should really look into selling the drop in that the fender ties to separately like the do with the base.

Great way to mount fenders. I have 2 on each side, that I mounted buy the midship cleats. I carry 4 fenders 2 for both sides. These make fastening the midship fenders a breeze. Its nice that you can add a drain hose to it.

The unit is designed very well for it’s stated purpose. excellent quality with good working mechanism. Used them to mount fenders in area where there were no other methods to attach. When removed the area is very smooth and good looking.

Costs are somewhat high.

Awesome! These precut crab strips had the fish going crazy. The fish ate the whole strip compared to the longer strips. I did not find the shrimp precut strips. I prefer the pre cut strips verses the long strip.

FishBites are easy to use and stay on the hook. I bought these for a trip to St. George Island in the Gulf of Mexico. They are convenient when it is inconvenient to locate or keep fresh bait on the beach for surf fishing.

They will stay on your hook through long casts and multiple fish. Highly Recommend.

Use it fishing the intercostal and the beaches and it delivers. Have caught speckled sea trout (many), sheepshead and reds. Lady fish seems to leave it alone but pinfish will go at it. Good thing is it will withstand a decent amount of hard nibbling.

I use the sand flea and the shrimp varieties and sometimes one works when the other doesn’t. Have bottom-fished it but usually dangle it below a float.

Works well. Happy with the purchase. DOES NOT INCLUDE WHATS NEEDED FOR TATTLE FLAG (FLAG TO DROP ON A HIT). Despite the flag prominently shown in every pic.

Flag is visible in all the photos but it is stationary. Wouldn’t be a big deal but when I went online to order the kit to make the tattle flag work it’s 2 weeks from order for the kits to ship. I was able to order a more expensive kit to work that will arrive before my trip but for 1/2 the cost of the board.

Exactly what I expected. I paid a little more for the Off Shore brand but it was worth it. Good quality boards and hardware. I’m happy. They work well and I like the adjustability for getting them running right with different conditions.

I used the McCormick Street Taco Pork Carnitas Seasoning Mix with one pork tenderloin and a diced onion placed in a vacuum seal bag and cooked it in the Sous Vide for 12 hours at 155 degrees. When finished I pressed it in the bag to break it up which ended up with a pulled pork looking product.

I then spread it on a foil lined half cookie sheet and put it under the broiler high heat for about 10 minutes to brown it. Came out excellent. Will definitely get more of these packets.

Too spicy! The pork carnitas that I have made, and the ones I have order in numerous restaurants are not spicy. Thought I would skip the step of making my spice blend by using this packet. This mix was red with pepper.

Luckily I tasted it before using. Holy cow, it’s too spicy for us!.

Was looking to try something new. The taste is pretty good. Had a little fiery kick I wasn’t expecting so my kids couldn’t eat it. The ranch flavor is subtle. I thought it was a little salty and wish it wasn’t so saucy.

I would make this again.

I love this seasoning! I use it on fish and chicken and beef! I just mix it in the pan with my meat and a can of diced tomatoes and it’s the perfect addition to beans and cheese for burritos. I’ve actually never tried to make fish tacos out of it but I’m sure it would be great! I love it and buy/use it all the time.

This fish taco seasoning is better than the most fresh and expensive restaurants I have ever had fish tacos at. It is a home run every time. I use it with Chilean sea bass, mahi mahi, grouper, cod and flounder.

I’ve been using this for some years now. It’s great for fish tacos but I also use it to make kind of a Mexican fried rice and use it to season burrito filling etc. It’s tasty and not overly salty.

I clicked on Taco Rice but honestly, we love all the rices, risottos, pastas, oh my! I love how fast they cook up. One packet is enough to feed the 2 of us. My cupboards are filled with different flavors.

I have tried the 4 cheese risotto with shrimp and spinach and it was delicious! Hubby talked about that dish for 2 days after! I will keep trying the recipes-even though I miss them on the back of the packets.

I really like Knorr rice sides. They have great recipes on the back of their packages to make a full meal as well. One of their recipes was a beefy taco pie, I call it taco lasagna though. My family loves it and it’s so easy to make.

Really great taco rice. Has great seasoning to it. Cook it little under for a great al dente bite to it. Seasoned really great. Staple in my pantry always. Add to some burritos. Awesome. Very affordable.

The telescopic poles are good. The terminal tackle like snap swivels, cord, the stretch cord that attaches to the gunnels, are very poor quality. The swivels lasted maybe a year. They melted. I buy normal quality swivels for $3.

00 that I have had 10 years. When offshore and these things fail, it is a huge hassle to fix. If they added $10. 00 more in quality items, it would be perfect, but they don’t.

Decent outrigger but does not come with bottom slide in base for internal holder. Also watch for misleading rebate offers. I bought model #18987651 and it clearly stated that model came with a $100 rebate.

When I sent it in they said it was for the whole outrigger kit.

When extending the tubes, the “lock button” to hold the tubes in the extended position has rotated and is not visible to “pop” through the hole to hold the tube in place. With rollers, this is near impossible to fix on the fly.

It tasted exactly like taco would, all the herbs spices were just right. I tried to imitate the packaging photo to added avocados, purple onion purple cabbage, and sprinkled a lil’ bit of fresh lime juice on top.

This is my go-to meal when I want easy, tasty and guilt-free. The seasoning is very flavorful and really livens up the meat. I also like that these tacos are a little smaller than regular tacos, it makes them easier to manage.

The shells are durable: you can take a bite and they don’t crack and spill toppings everywhere. Because they’re smaller you’ll eat more. One box was perfect for my hungry family of 3.

I make Vigo Yellow Rice at least twice a week for a dinner side dish. Everyone in the family loves it, it has a great taste and texture and it makes the perfect amount for us. I normally buy 10 bags at a time since we have rice so often with dinner.

I pour a 10oz bag of Vigo Yellow Rice in my rice cooker, add 2 cups of water and a splash of olive oil. Mix well and push the white rice mode button on my rice cooker. It comes out perfectly cooked every single time.

My favorite dinner to make with Vigo rice is tacos and taco salads! If you haven’t tried rice in your tacos or taco salad you need to!!! I highly recommend Vigo Yellow Rice.

Before I became knowledgeable about what causes headaches and swelling, I used to buy Vigo Yellow Rice. Very convenient and tasty. It contains MSG MONOSODIUM GLUTAMATE. I am sensitive and migraine prone, so I stay away from all products containing this unnecessary ingredient.

This rub rail has several good points and a few deal breaking low ones. On the up side it is very good looking, easy to install and reasonably priced. On the downside it is a terrible rub rail. If it touches, and I do mean touches, anything from a PVC trailer guide to a wood piling on either the white or chrome section the resulting blemish is ugly and permanent.

The only real use for this super soft rub rail is for a quick visual upgrade. It is way too soft and fragile for even the lightest duty application. After 1 year of exceptionally easy use I’ll be replacing this with a rigid product.

It is one of the few brands that we will store on our pantry shelves. They knocked it out of the park with the Southwest Zest Pinto Beans. They don’t overwhelm other meal items but bring a taste that complements brisket, fajitas, chicken.

What a terrific seasoning. Instead of adding spice directly to fish, I added spice to panko crumbs, then lightly breaded the fish. Amazing! I would definitely buy Honey Sriracha Lime Fish Tacos mix again.

I use talipia and my husband and I love the unique flavors of the lime with a drizzle of honey. We like spicy food, so we find this quite mild. I usually punch it up with some chopped jalapeño in our slaw–make it extra colorful with some finely sliced dino kale.

This is a flavor I have not found anywhere else! It’s such a perfect blend of everything delicious and is perfect with a fish like mahi -with slaw and a sweet salsa – such as mango or pineapple – in a soft taco! Amazing!.

We cook heart healthy balanced meals almost every night of the year, but on occasion, we take a night off and have something easy. We were never fish stick people until we tried these in the store. We like that they are made from whole fillets and not mysterious bits and pieces that are glued together w/ fat and salt.

The packaging states that the fish are responsibly sourced, and that is important to us and the lack of artificial additives. Paired with a salad, these make a great meal. For people who cook healthy food, these are great to have on hand for the nights when you just want a break.
