This is AWFUL. It is way too tomato-y. Even with the white cheese sauce all you taste is tomato. It is sweet, they added sugar to cut the tomato acid, but it tastes too sweet. If you don’t eat it within the first 3 minutes it turns to glue.

It is terrible. It went down the garbage disposal. Waste of money. Their chicken varieties are good but not the classic lasagna. It doesn’t taste anything like any lasagna I’ve ever eaten. AWFUL. 🤮.

I bought this to try something different. I have made many homemade chicken bacon ranch casseroles and they are delicious. so I thought this had to be good since it was made by Velveeta. I was so disappointed.

The problem with this dinner kit is the nasty flavor packet they claim is “ranch”. It doesn’t taste or smell like any ranch seasoning I have ever tasted. First of all, it smells just like old mildew water and it is a STRONG smell.

It tastes just as bad, it’s like you could taste mildew mixed with a strong weird dill-like flavor. It was wretched. The cheese packet tasted good all by itself, but when it’s mixed into the cooked product it can’t cover up the horrific smell/taste of the mildew ranch stuff.

The bacon bits and pasta were good. the ranch seasoning ruined the entire thing. I don’t know how anyone could possibly think this tastes good. It is NASTY and I’d be so embarrassed to serve this to anyone.

I’ll stick to making my own. I’d give this negative stars if I could. Blech.

It’s decent. The prep was easy. However it’s velveeta so the consistency of the alfredo sauce was definitely. velveeta. Lol not sure what else I was expecting. It’s good, sorta, but definitely not top quality alfredo.

I think next time I make it I’ll use like 1/3 of the sauce in the packet because it’s just so thick and gooey and makes it almost unenjoyable. It’s good if you’re in a pinch though but I honestly wouldn’t pick it over the other brands of box alfredo that I’ve bought before.

The meat seasoning that you mix in while cooking is delicious though!.

Mountain House long term foods are hands down the best in the business for taste and wholesomeness of ingredients. I have to also add that the web site is one of the few where the “notify me when. ” actually does what it says and not just grab your e-mail for marketing purposes! Refreshing.

But getting back to the first thing I spoke of, taste, while yes it’s great for camping and/or emergency food stores, it’s so tasty that my wife and I will often have their prepared meals because it’s that good!.

Swanson Beef Broth – I received this complementary from Influenster Swanson Broths for my honest review. As someone who cooks a lot, cooks more upscale recipes, I find this to be incredibly salty. The sodium content in this broth is way too much for my taste health concerns.

I always buy sodium-free organic broth, or make my own. However, I used appropriately 1/2 of a cup of this sin a slow cooker with a 3. 6 pound chuck roast I cooked for a family get together. Everyone loved it.

If you aren’t concerned about sodium you aren’t a person who likes to control the salt content in what you cook, this would be a good choice for you. I think it would make a tasty French Onion Soup, as it is on the salty side anyway.

It would be easy to add to some caramelized onions topped with a good (not salty) cheese like provolone, melted browned. This doesn’t need to be used in a recipe that calls for the broth to be cooked down or thickened.

That would concentrate the salt make it much saltier.

I was selected to participate in the Swanson Broth Vox Box campaign via Influenster. I received the Beef Broth. The problem was deciding which dish to incorporate the broth into ! An ox tail soup, or pot roast ?? The pot roast won.

A real prize winner at that , made with this delicious, rich tasting broth. Adding a few seasonings like rosemary, garlic, thyme, of course small potatoes, red bell pepper, carrots and onions , everything melded perfectly within the broth.

Roast tender and delectable. The drippings themselves from the broth savory, and also made the perfect flavorful gravy. I have in mind uses such as stews, au jus, soups, and to add to stroganoffs, other casseroles when I purchase.

Swanson Beef Broth is a quick, convenient, tasty, and healthy ingredient to use in my everyday and even special occasion cooking. It’s so perfect for the cold winter time to make soups, stews, or use it in rice or pasta to add extra flavor.

My family cooks with broth often, often several times a week. I used the Swanson Beef Broth in a rice vegetable bake that has rice, water chestnuts, celery, onions, carrots, black pepper, soy sauce and some herbs.

Instead of water like people often use with rice dishes, I love using beef broth in this dish since it makes it super tasty and gives it that savory umami rich depth of flavor that makes it more delicious than a typical rice and vegetable dish.

Dinty Moore beef stew is fantastic! It has a wonderful flavor! It’s nutritious and hearty! I had to question all the four star reviews and worse because it’s clearly a five-star product, and the company is as good as possible!.

I enjoy these little TV dinners, however if you get mashed potatoes as a side, cook them at a lower temperature if you’re using a microwave or else you will have a sponge type material, resembling bread.

These dinners are high in sodium however I believe you can purchase a lower sodium as an alternative option. These meals will fill you up temporarily but I can honestly say I was hungry an hour later, which I found that shocking being they advertised high levels of protein amongst other essential vitamins.

The meat for the most part is pretty good, if you cook this in a conventional oven, I’m sure it is much better however, I use these meals for convenience. therefore, a microwave is better for me. I recommend letting them cool off once prepared to get a better flavor once it sets, plus it’s very hot.

I can purchase these meals for $2 to $3, it is a great alternative for someone that doesn’t cook a whole lot or someone that is on the go. I recommend trying multiple hungry man meals before deciding on one.

you substituted turkey dinner with beef. should have been diffrent brand of turkey dinner or reg. size instead of hungry man. salsbury steak is horrible. got 3. i eat the veg and throw away the meat.

I’ve always been a pretty health conscious person, so it was somewhat natural that I used Hungry Man to help manage my weight early into my adult life. It was great for portion control and calorie intake.

Although after learning more about preservatives and sodium I dropped them and switched to healthier all natural alternatives. Much to my delight Hungry Man has found a way to continue to market to consumers like me that like to have our cake and eat it too when weighing our options, ourselves and the quality of food we are putting into our bodies.

how disappointing to find that the product has sugar! why? this completely ruined my perception of a healthy product and turned me off from buying this brand again. there is no need for the sugar and there are many other competitors on the market that don’t feel the need to add it as well.

The flavor is surprisingly bold, especially for it been unsalted. I tried this one day because they were out of the other brands, and now I won’t switch back. Not as rich as beef broth, but not bland like a typical vegetable broth.

This was my go to brand for vegetable stock when I was eating vegan. Still my preferred brand when creating vegetarian/vegan recipes that call for a veggie stock. Excited that there is still great taste without all of the sodium that can end up in stock products, would absolutely recommend!.

Bought this for the C-19 virus stockpile. Easy to cook, just add water and fat (butter, oil, whatever). Simmer & done. Great base for casseroles, too. We were glad to have these and not have to shop.

I couldn’t put how many I wanted. It had limited of 2 at the time. I just wanted 1 at the time I was ordering. So paid for 2 packs. I don’t like that! Other wise the rice is good.

This is such an easy to prepare item whether rice or padta and has such great flavor! I have introduced it to friends and they like these as much as we do!

The packaging and presentation are excellent, the flavor is quite nice, it has good texture, but is it is a little dry for my taste. Dryness seems to be an issue with quite a few different brands, this one is better than a lot of brands, simply dryer.

I am going to see if there is any way I can marinated in some sort of oil or fluid to give it a bit more moisture, it is worth trying to get it’s the way I need it. Survivor of several Strokes, but medically it made it so that some foods had to dryness it is difficult for me.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis is a good low calorie stack. I like to eat it as a snack and/or a meal replacement. I had gastric sleeve surgery it makes a good meal replacement and helps fill my protein needs.

I also like to cut it up into small bites to use as dog treats. I know my dogs are a bit spoiled getting this jerky for there treats but most dog treats are full of crap that not healthy. Also alot of dog treats give my dogs the poops or they puke Because of them.

At least i know what is in these meat treats. My dogs love them for there treats. And they dont mess with my dogs.

IšverstiShow in original languageExcellent product but not worth the price. These are snacks that you go through fast and the cost is way too high. I would be apt to get them on a fairly regular basis probably even in a pantry order if they weren’t so expensive.

There are so many other snacks available out there that cost a lot less so a person would be apt to order them on a regular basis before ordering these on a regular basis. I hope they reconsider the pricing in the future.

The uses for Chef’s Companion Beef Gravy Mix are virtually endless. It is a great stand-alone gravy, but with the addition of mushrooms (canned mushrooms from Web Restaurant Store for example) and sauteed onions, it becomes a wonderful dress-up for salisbury steak or sirloin tips.

Pork gravy mix isn’t a available in the local grocery stores, so when I saw this on the Webstaurant Store website, I thought I must try it. It’s outstanding. I’ve tried so many broths over the years. NONE of them compare to the quality of preparation, taste, protein content, and delivery as Bonafide. My Publix recently stop carrying Bonafide broth. That didn’t stop me! I’m ordering online and it comes packed with dried ice that dissolves on it’s own and you can recycle the cardbox container.

Got this on the clearance section in my local grocery store. I was scared it would be nasty or to spicy. However I was pleasantly surprised. I have tried a lot of collagen products and they generally don’t mask the taste this well.

If your worries about spice it has a mild kick but not to much. The only thing I don’t like is it does have a weird smell to me. I have a very sensitive nose so you may not smell it. It it doesn’t show up in the taste.

I have really grown to enjoy this Beyond Bone Broth powder mix. The taste is somewhat bland, on it’s own, so I mix with another liquid bone broth and various herbs and spices. Makes a highly nutritious, high protein, great for your skin, nails, and hair, satisfying elixir….

This product is very flavorful, tender and just overall an awesome snack. It is pretty affordable, but could be a bit cheaper or come with more in a pack. To get more bang for your buck. Sometimes you can get pieces that have a bit of a weird texture.

Otherwise I would definitely recommend it as a snack!.

This dish was really good. I didnt happen to take a photo of it. The whole family liked it. From looking at it, I felt like I was going to want to add cheese, but that wasn’t necessary. The rice and season are packaged very well and the directions are simple.

I have served this a couple of times now on taco night. I am looking forward to having this rice again soon!.

There’s nothing better than tacos. No more fighting over soft or hard shells or having to buy two separate kits. The hard and soft combo is great. It’s even better when you combined the hard with the soft on the outside.

Put some cheese on a soft shell and heat until cheese is melted then place around the hard shell. Perfect!.

I love rice! What’s more interesting is that when my family and I fix tacos, nachos, fajitas and/or burritos, we incorporate rice in our meals! Not only is this brand of rice delicious, it’s so fulfilling and it is very easy to make! You can make this as an addition to an already planned meal or eat it by itself!! I would recommend this to my friends and neighbors since I’ve already have my family on board!!.

These bowl-fulls are very filling. This frozen meal is generous when it comes to portion size. It says the sauce is a medium spicy ranch cream sauce but I do not find this spicy at all. I was pleasantly surprised.

It has lots of pasta, grilled chicken, a zingy cheese sauce that had a lot of flavor. I’m looking forward to trying the other varieties out there of these bowl-fulls.

I love this bowl. It’s high quality ingredients are delicious. It comes out perfect everything, nice and creamy instead of watery like other brands do. I highly recommend you try this if you get a chance.

I keep my fridge stocked with them.

Great flavor. Great portion. The right amounts of cheese, meat, and mac. This was my first time trying and will definitely buy again. Very little could be done to improve. Very easy to prepare and great for a quick meal.

Chef’s Gold is a must add to any dryage purchase! It adds a unique taste when a small chunk is seared on a steak amplifying the complex flavors. I also have used it in place of wagyu tallow with great results.

Used it to grill vegetables, added it to high end burger meat adding another layer of flavor. I also have done blind taste test with my family and they taste a difference (positive) but hard to describe.

Again, pick up some if you’re making an order. The extra is vacuum packed in freezer. TIP, store in vacuum pack in fridge, after opened, reseal and place back in fridge. Last much longer then standard zip lock.

I wasn’t sure about this, but I basted a steak with it and it seems to add more beefy flavor. I plan to try it when making mushroom risotto next.
