This was a gift for my BBQ’ing husband and he loved them! I’ve never seen anything like this, and it allowed us to have corn on the cob sit in it’s own section, juicy steak in another, and coleslaw at the top.

These plates are perfect for BBQ!.

I served dinner last night in these plates, my guests kept talking about how nice these plates are. I wanted something different and these satisfied my taste. I loved how my salad and sauce did not mix with the rest of the food on the plate.

This plate gets so many comments from our dinner guests! It is fun and fancy, and the little dipping area is a favorite! We get a lot of use out of these plates and are very happy with them!

I never thought I would use this as much as I do! I purchased it from Costco and now use it several times a week. We leave it on top of the cooktop since it is very heavy. Since we live in New England we don’t use our outdoor grill from October through April so this takes the place.

We grill steaks, pork, chicken, fish and veggies. Cleanup is a breeze. Soak for a few minutes and clean with a stiff brush. No soap. You don’t want to remove the seasoned layer.

Love it! My meats come out juicy and full of flavor. Ensure you follow cleaning directions. I seen comments on various sights regarding rusting. I have now used mine several times and no rusting. I wash after every used, dry with a cloth, set in stove with fire in low to finish drying, than spray with olive oil.

Looks like new every time. Ensure you wash within a hour or so after use. Do not allow food to sit in pan over night.

Good size, excellent product. I’ve used cast iron for thirty years and my pans are a gorgeous satin-smooth black. This pan will definitely get some good use. Rather than using it straight off, I put it through several cycles of seasoning.

Note that because of the ridges, with the oil collecting in the valleys, it took a while to get the seasoning even. Note that many people (including some of the reviewers) don’t really understand how the seasoning works.

The oils cook down to the point where the molecules act just like polymers. The more seasoning, the more solid the coating. When you wash the pan DO use liquid detergent. The detergent removes the thick gunk, while not being able to break down the seasoning beneath.

The dry it, lightly oil it, and you’re done (one reviewer said it rusted the first time. Obviously they did not read the instructions and did not oil it. ). As long as the pan doesn’t get so ridiculously hot that it turns the seasoning into ash, it will become better seasoned the more you use it.

As for the pan itself, I prefer the square 10. 5 inch model over the round pans. While the round pans can claim a bit more even heating, as the iron distributes the heat, this is not much of an issue – not like an aluminum pan.

The square shape lets you fit more food into the pan and it works better for things like kabob. I like the pan. I later ordered the matching tempered glass lid. I’m very happy with them.

Fits perfectly in my Weber 1st Generation Genesis S-310. We primarily use it to cook breakfast in the warm days on weekends. I can cook Bacon, Eggs, grill the muffins as well as pancakes and french toast.

Have done Steak n’ Cheese (Philly Steak) subs on it as well as teriyaki chicken and korean beef. We’ve even tried Smash burgers.

The baskets use a gravity latch that slides over the handle to hold the top and bottom together when cooking. However, ANY amount of pressure created by holding food causes the handle top and bottom to want to separate a tiny bit.

Under this pressure, the gravity latch rides up and pops off, releasing your food. We tried the different thickness settings available on the hinge with small sausages and corn, but they all produced the same result.

If the latch kind of held, the first time you bump it trying to hang it, it pops open. We were able to tie the handles shut with cooking twine to use them, but that’s kind of a pain.

I just got this package of three racks, and have only used the basket for some really good smoked tater tots. Each rack seems well made, but they are quite small. I’d like to make corn on the cob, but if I’m cooking for more than four people I’d need at least two racks.

Not only will this cost more, but it takes up two spaces on the smoker when one long rack holding eight or ten corncobs would take one space. The same is true for the sausage/hotdog holder. Who wants to smoke only four sausages or take up two spaces on the smoker? I’d really like it if I could get racks that completely utilize the vertical space above the coals.

I bought this set for none meat options and they have worked great for veggies. If a big family or larger cook, you may need two baskets. The sausage cooker has done hot dogs once and was a champion.

I have not used the corn hanger yet, but plan on being inventive with the basket. I personally thought the Brusselsprouts were better than the potatos. I give it a double thumbs up.

I like the individual serving size that this item provides. Now Spousal Unit and I can have our personal preferences in each dish. I give it a 4 star rating, instead of 5, because the interior is not near as smooth as classic cast iron is.

Lodge, along with its predecessors Griswold and Wagner, used to have glassy smooth interiors, which makes for a much better quality cast iron. With the quality Lodge already provides, going back to the glassy interior would not add much to the price, but certainly would add to Lodge’s reputation.

We’ll eventually grind it smooth ourselves, just as we have all our other modern cast iron. Until then, we’ll use it as often as we use its mate.

Im not a big Lodge fan, I prefer the old original CI but i love these little pans. There is just the 2 of us now n these are great for mini lasagna n so much more. I have 2 of these. They are also gonna be perfect in our camper when on the road.

These are easy to clean n season. you can’t go wrong, wish i had these when the kids were growing up they would have been fun for the kids to creat their own meals in them. You can also do fun deserts in these such as double chocolate dark fudge brownies, warmed then top w your ice cream of choice.

oh my yummy. get the wheels turning these really are great little extras to have around. Try using them for condiments for a family get together.

These mini servers are amazing. They are the perfect size for individual servings. The cast iron keeps the food warm – which is a HUGE plus for food that gets cold quickly. I used them on Christmas day to serve macaroni and cheese.

I really like them and I’m really happy I purchased them. I have been watching these at a high-end kitchen store, and I jumped at the chance to buy them when I saw them at Walmart for almost half the price.

The only downside to this order was the packaging. They weren’t packaged very well, but I guess I can’t complain because they didn’t break in transit (surprisingly). I think we’ll be enjoying these servers for a long time.

I really wanted to love this pan; I have been using cast iron for decades and love it, however the only thing I’ve held on to is the highest-quality non-stick double burner griddle because it’s just so easy for making pancakes, meals for two, and so on.

I was HOPING this pan would replace it, however so far all it has been is frustrating. The surface area is a lot smaller than I was thinking. The description says 16-3/4 x 9-1/2, however the cooking area is actually about 16 x 9.

MINUS the two corners that are cut out, as well as the engraved LODGE logo near one corner. It’s very difficult to move it around while in use. there’s just nothing to grip on to safely. The walls are only about 1/4 tall, if that, so food spills out easily.

In my former, high-quality non-stick double burner griddle I could easily cook eight 4 pancakes at the same time. This morning I just tried using this cast iron double burner griddle to make pancakes – I knew it would not fit 8, so I tried six.

Mistake. Both batter and oil spilled over. Not a ton of it spilled, but NONE should have spilled. I could only successfully do 2 pancakes at a time, and made them a bit bigger than what I usually do.

In general: just frustrating. It will definitely take some tweaking and getting used to. It’s not useless. it’s just not nearly as efficient as what I am used to. I’m hoping I can use this pan while camping – either on the fire, or on the grill.

That would redeem it a little in my mind. I’d love to hear what others are cooking in it. how others are using it successfully; maybe that would give me a few more ideas.

I had high hopes for this Lodge griddle as a means to finally cook MORE pancakes at the same time so I’m not left by myself in the kitchen when everyone else has finished breakfast. I had just retired a long-used All-Clad square griddle that had finally lost its finish.

I thought that sticking would be the problem with the Lodge. Instead it was the issue of it being too lightweight a surface. The heating was extremely uneven. I have a good gas range and the griddle was placed over 2 burners set to low-medium heat.

Even pancakes centered over the flame were coming out half underdone/half charred. I think it’s also a problem that it’s a double-sided pan. The reverse grill pan side doesn’t help the flat side keep consistently even heat or browning.

I returned it and will go to either a heavier Le Creuset iron with enamel griddle like the small skillet I love, or back to a nonstick like an All-Clad with heavier core for even browning.

I bought this several years ago from Target and use it only on occasion. I just used it yesterday and my pancakes stuck terribly. I even had trouble turning them. I always oil it after use. Also, I always make sure it’s thoroughly dry after cleaning.

After wiping it dry, I heat it up again and oil it. I do remember that every time I’ve used it in the past, the griddle has heated unevenly. I’m cooking on a small 4-burner gas stove with only a couple inches between the burners.

The grill goes across two burners. I do heat it up prior to cooking, hoping the middle will get hot but it never gets as hot has the portions right over the burners. Another problem is that either our kitchen floor is not level or the stove is not level so one side cooks better than the other and the oil tends to collect more on that side.

Thus, there are contributing problems outside of the Grill itself. I find it easier to use two pans. I was up on a time I was using two pans and the griddle. Another problem with the flat portion of the griddle is that I often lose food over the edges.

A few years ago, we replaced our original wedding dishes with the Marin set. We got 4 of the 16 piece sets one each in white, grey, light blue and the dark navy which it appears are no longer available.

The first 3 colors seem to be holding up well; but I’m sorry to say the navy set shows extreme wear, knife marks and scratches on the plates. We take good care of the dishes as we have dish protectors between each one in the cabinets so the scratches are not from the way they are stacked.

I would just issue a word of caution to anyone that is considering the darker colors in this set as every little imperfection shows up on them. I now only use the navy plates for food prep and will not set my table with them.

Maybe the color was discontinued because of these types of issues.

I’ve been “watching” this set for a month, offered by many vendors. Walmart had the A: Best Price, B: More dishes in the set and C: The Best shipping service. The small desert bowls are extra anywhere else.

The dishes arrived in excellent condition ! The packing was outstanding. I’ve put them in the dishwasher, microwave and even a low heated oven. I am SUPER Pleased !!!!.

I have both the blue and the red set – and I love the vibrant colors. There are minor imperfections in the glazing, but the set is still beautiful. And I love the size and shape of the bowls as they are perfect for cereal or soup!.

I have an earlier set that does look like the photo with a deep true red. This latest color batch is a muddy gray -brown burgandy version. I have seen several other people with the same response from different vendors for this model.

I took a chance on Walmart have a different supply source. I did keep the Gibson Kada dinnerware. It is smaller plate & a different solid color rather than a mottled red, but the color matches the photo.

Love these!! I was wanting a cornflower blue, but one of the pics showed a more royal blue. They came as a medium cornflower blue, which is perfect. Good, solid plates. Very happy.

is sooooo delicious! I bought it for $20 at Market Basket. It’s fully cooked and it’s so delicious. It’s great for every special occasion and definitely fills you up. I definitely recommend to people to buy and eat.

These fully cooked ribs were inexpensive, meaty and easy to prepare. Although, we didn’t care for the sauce, as it was very bland; like tomato sauce. And wrapping tightly in foil, per instructions, made them way too wet.

We agreed, if we purchased again, would rub off the sauce, cook unwrapped, with a Masterpiece Original BBQ Sauce at the end.

Really great ribs that are easy to cook. Recommend adding a bit of seasoning to the pre-made sauce (homemade BBQ seasoning) to ‘kick it up a notch. ‘ Would buy again and again. Prefer these to the baby back ribs.

I purchased 4 coffee cups and saucers, while items are beautifully made, and i have every intention of keeping them, I gave them 3 stars for the following: 1 star off for being too big for an espresso coffee cup.

I will have to serve cappuccino instead. And the 2nd star off, is for the shipping. I received only one cup out of the three in its original box. The other three were wrapped in bubble wrap, and sent in a cardbord box.

Fortunately, The items arrived unharmed, yet, for the high price i paid for them, i would have expected the matching box, for shipping and storage. I hope Bloomingdale’s will send the matching boxes.
