20 Best Shredded Mozzarella For Pizza (2023 Updated)

I was skeptical about this cheese due to the cost but it was the last pre-shredded mozzarella on the shelf and I decided to give it a try. You can absolutely see and taste the difference in quality in this cheese.

It tasted great and melted even better. This was a major upgrade from the crappy Good & Gather brand I was going for. If you can afford it, I’d definitely recommend this cheese. It is quite expensive though, so I probably won’t be buying it regularly.

This was a pretty good cheese for homemade pizza. It melted well and wasn’t plastic like which some shredded cheese can be. Tillamook makes a good product but it’s very expensive for 8 oz. wouldn’t have bought if it wasn’t on sale.

We spent several weeks in Italy a few years ago and enjoyed the best pizza we have ever had throughout the entire trip, from south to north, everywhere in Italy. We never found that same taste back in the US, close and still great pizza, but not the same.

I read an article about “true” Italian flavored pizza shipped right to your house, frozen pizza and yes I did laugh out loud, shaking my head, as I read the article. But I decided to give it a try anyway.

I ordered from the website and within a week we received our pizzas. Packaging was great, pizzas still completely frozen and the packaging was very environmentally friendly. I did not wait for my wife, as soon as I opened the box, I threw a margarita pizza in the oven and 12 minutes later I was amazed and virtually transported back to Italy.

It is really that good, my wife completely agreed when she finally got home and tried one as well. The pizzas are probably too big for a “personal” pizza but I made it so :). We will definitely be ordering these pizzas on a continuous basis as 8 of them won’t last long :)!.

Let me preface this by saying that these are the only frozen pizzas we buy. That said, we were disappointed with the last order. First, the four cheese were not available, so they were substituted with Provolina.

Second, and more importantly, seven of the eight pizzas arrived broken. Frozen, but broken. The only one that wasn’t was the one on top. Damaged in transit? Maybe. Difficult to tell. This is the first time a delivery arrived like this.

We have been buying these since they first became available. We will continue to buy them, although a much more careful inspection will be performed when opening the carton. Now a cookie sheet has to be placed below the cooking pizza to catch the drips.

Inconvenient, yes, but something that will be reported upon receipt next time.

It was with great fear and trepidation that I ventured into the Novellino 8 pack. I was told, as a young lad, the anything other than Margherita was sacrilege. It was an unforgettable experience. The selection was balanced, and absolutely delicious.

Like a great Novel, I don’t want to spoil other folks experience with a description of the flavors, textures, and overall joy of consuming these exceptional pies. Having two ovens allows us to time the preparation such that each pizza comes out freshly cooked when we indulge in more than one – we appreciate the sensible size and nutritionally sane nature of these artisanal pizzas.

Our most recent order was apparently in an improved shipping container and arrived very quickly. Thanks for that! Talia has adjusted well to the pandemic shipping nightmare. My daughter is currently on a mission to spread Talia joy to her friends.

I taught her well. In a world filled with so many abominations posing as pizza, Talia is a shining city on a hill, offering hope and pure delight.

I liked how it’s 8 ounces of grated parmesan cheese. I did not like it’s shake-distribution ratio. Open one side of the lid and its soooo slow coming out that not only is my spaghetti cold, but I’ve visibly aged and it’s caused my spouse to leave me for someone younger.

Then you open the other side and it’s like, c’mon Kraft I just dumped the entire 8 Oz on my plate and my family thinks I deliberately hogged all the cheese. Which of course causes my spouse to leave me.

Get it together Kraft.

This like most of the these cheeses contains cellulose powder. It is used as a filler So the manufactures can put less of the actual product you’re paying for in the bottle. This filler is ground up wood! Some manufactures vary on the size of the particles there are actually some manufactures you can see Ashley chunks of wood craft uses a very very fine ground up wood so you don’t notice it as much.

Yuck.

This 30 minute mozzarella kit was great because it came with everything I needed. As I am new to cheese making I liked having paper directions, which came in the kit, that I could easily reference during the cheese making process.

The directions were easy to follow and the rennet tabs made measuring easy. It was my first time making cheese and it really did only take 30 minutes for this particular cheese. I had loads of fun doing it and the cheese was delicious.

My daughter and I polished it off in only three days because it was just too yummy.

I absolutely love this cheese making kit. Had everything needed to make lots of cheese. Just need supplies and milk and call it done! Im a beginner so I wasnt sure what to expect. Made my first batch and was super pleased Never thought it would be an easy process to make cheese!!! Will not buy from anywhere else.

Bought Jul,31,2022 expired June,7 2022. I knew I bought it not to long ago. However: never checked the date I just know the one i bought before this expires 26 of October 2022. PLEASE do not sale us expired food just cuz we are home delivery.

Now I have an unopen expired cheese. I did not appreciate this. Now I am flooded in and have no cheese. Yes,I know it’s been over 30 days boutt less than 90. Please refund my card,and when the water goes down, you can pick it up,Thank you.

I Love Tillamook triple farmstyle thick Cheddar cheese. I use It to enhance my eggs, Pizza and grilled Cheese with soup. I really love the taste of this cheese. I was told that this company makes the best icecream which I did not know.

Can’t wait to taste their icecreams.

Honestly the best cheese ever. Great for food toppings such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, enchiladas, even baked potato!!! Mmm. so good. Since the cheese are perfectly thick, I always sneak a small hand full as a sneak hehe.

the only con in my opinion is that the price is on the higher side compare to your typical Kraft brands/store brands and such. Regardless. 100% recommend!.

I love how thick cut this shredded cheese is. It’s perfect for adding to pasta and tacos. I also add this to my eggs. Very good quality in my opinion. I will try the Mexican style cheese next time. I wish they made this in a larger size.

Don’t let anyone tell you that there is no discernable difference in taste or texture between whole milk and part skim mozzarella cheese. it took me a few eating experiences to determine that the part skim version I purchased when the store was out of my usual whole milk type, was indeed the reason my pizzas and other dishes tasted “different” and not in a good way.

Health benefits of lower fat foodstuffs not withstanding, this part skim cheese was both unpleasently more salty and did not melt the same as the whole milk version. Yes, I would buy it again in a pinch if no whole milk versions are available, but I will pay closer attention to what I grab now and try to find my preferred whole milk mozzarella.

These used to be really good and were my favorite cheese snack. Lately, they have no flavor most of the time. They used to be salty and delicious and now they’re just tasteless. Often times, there are unsealed wrappers as well which leads to waste.

Bummed that these have lost quality.

My wife & I have already placed and received three orders from Talia. When the first sample pack of six arrived we were anxious to try them. So following simple package instructions, went straight from freezer to oven to table in less than 10 minutes.

Result: AMAZING, truly like the real deal in Naples. This is from first hand experience! Perfectly sized for two adults, which we appreciate. Since then we had tried all their different pizzas and out favorites are the marguerite and mushroom.

We have recommended to many of our friends and they too are amazed. Talia’s customer service is also outstanding. We had a shipping problem with some pies arriving defrosted, and Talia replaced them free of charge.

I love the tartufina pizza. Porcini mushrooms and truffles – yum! I add truffle salt, a lil truffle oil, plus red sauce on the side. Heats up in no time in the ninja oven; crispy crust, creamy cheese, all around yum.

A good buy! I use it with so many things. Make calzones with it and mozzarella. When eating Pasta and meatballs I put a few spoons on the side of my dish. I like the coolness of it with my hot pasta.

I love to make white pizzas with it either on pizza dough of naan bread with mozzarella and spinach. hot pepper to top it off! So many good uses, love it! Mix some with pasta and broccoli ! ENDLESS USES.

There are many great uses for ricotta past just using it in lasagna. Spread it on toast and top it with sliced strawberries. This Galbani ricotta is delicious enough to eat as dessert with a spoon. Lots of calcium and protein.

I wish it also came in low fat….
