20 Best Showerhead For Low Pressure (2023 Updated)

I was a bit skeptical prior to purchase, despite all of the good reviews. Just my nature, I guess. Decided to take a chance and buy this. It changed my shower experience completely! The pressure is amazing and so much stronger than I expected.

I thought it would be cheap, flimsy, and overly plastic-y, but even the quality far surpassed my expectations. Metal in all the right places and has a very good feel and weight to it. Even though I only have 1 shower in my home, Im still thinking of purchasing a second one just in case.

Its that good. If youre looking for a rainfall shower head replacement, this is the best choice. I did tons of research and product comparisons and this has the best value. While I cant compare performance to other units, I truly do not think anything can get stronger than this spray.

This is the one I have been looking for! It solved my low water pressure issue with an easily removable restriction plug, no drilling. I have tried many others but even without a restriction plug I just could not get enough water for a decent shower.

Also the spray pattern is like a rain shower, it’s wonderful!.

In love with this showerhead! We just got back from a trip to Cancun and I was on a hunt to get a rainfall showerhead like the one in the resort. This product is even better. Has great water pressure and gets all the hair product out of my hair quick and easy unlike other showers.

I was able to install this item as soon as it arrived too because they gave you everything you need in the box. Comes with the teflon tape, water filter, and a pressure adjuster if needed. Highly recomend this showerhead if your looking a great value for your dollar product.

Also- they do give an option to get an extention for the shower head if needed once you receive your package.

The model YPW-839E/SPW-489MED hair wand pulse spa system is a combination fixed mount shower head and a hand shower attached to an 8 foot metal hose. Before the unit can be used, the old shower head has to be removed and the several parts of the new system assembled.

The quality of the parts is excellent. The instructions state that an adjustable wrench is needed for installation, but I found that using may bare hands was adequate. While the manufacturer states that the product installs in minutes, that may be a bit optimistic.

I took me about half an hour to remove the old shower head and instal the new unit. I never made a mistake during installation, but as a man age 78, I move a bit slower than when I was younger. I would estimate a younger individual could complete the installation in about 15 minutes.

Between the fixed shower head and the wand, there are a total of 12 functions most of which involve various combinations of massage. When I first used the unit, I had it set for a full body spray from the fixed shower head and the spray was so incredibly relaxing that I had no desire to test the other 11 functions, or for that matter, get out of the shower! After a long while, I did bring myself to test all the massage settings and each one felt good, but not as relaxing as the full body spray.

The online instruction manual gives advice for the benefits of each setting and includes videos for various health benefits (soothe muscle tension, increase flexibility, promote restful sleep, soothe and reduce foot pain and discomfort, relieve general stress, increase surface blood flow, and relieve joint discomfort).

Since I was fortunate not to have any of these problems, I cannot attest to the value of each setting, but I can say they all felt good. The company also sites clinical studies showing the value of each of the health settings, but all the studies except one were subjective, and the last one showed a measured increase in forearm blood flow with a hot water massage, but there was no control study to show the result of using hot water along without any massage function.

The box label says the shower head is registered with the FDA (Federal Drug Administration), but I have no idea what that means. It would be nice if it meant that the FDA has verified the efficacy of each massage function, but I doubt that is the case.

In conclusion, as I said in my title, this was the best shower head system I have ever used. The full body spray alone is worth the price of this very high quality unit, and if you are unfortunate enough to have any of the afflictions noted, the massage functions are icing on the cake.

It’s made of plastic, except for the hose and the brass fitting. The water pressure from the main head is not strong enough for my liking. The diverter will allow for either the shower head and the power comb to be used independently or combined.

I find the pressure on the power comb good on the highest setting with the water only going to it. The main head can be positioned where you like it but the ring to tighten it must be tight enough so that you can still change the settings with the switch on the outside ring.

I thought it would be a bit more substantial and not light and made of plastic. Overall it’s not horrible and it wasn’t super expensive.

I bought this shower head, looking for something that has great pressure to help rinse shampoo from my thick, long hair with ease. I have chronic upper body pain, and limited use of my arms, which makes showering a huge task-especially washing my hair! This product has helped me immensely, the high pressure wand quickly and efficiently rinses ALL of the product from my hair with such ease! There are many pressure options, and I choose the highest, but if the power is too much, you can easily adjust it.

Being able to switch back and forth between the shower head (which has a variety of settings as well!) and the wand helps get the job done and in a way that is far less painful for me! I have extremely thick and long hair, and it rinses my hair so well, I’m not left with any lingering residue from my conditioner.

I can’t speak highly enough of this shower head combo, I’m going to buy a second for my second shower. Added benefit: the wand is great for cleaning/rinsing the walls and tub as well! The product is worth every penny of the price, and I highly recommend it!.

I love this shower head! The shower head that came with our camper (like most campers I assume) was like trying to shower under a trickling hose! This only took a few minutes to install. We ended up leaving the holder from our previous shower head because the one that came in this kit wasn’t angled down at all and the water was shooting at the back wall instead of onto you.

This has made such a difference! We got it half way through the season last year and as of closing up camp it was still working great. I will update if something has changed when we open back up in April.

Highly recommend this one though! It’s a worth while upgrade!.

Update 8-21-20 This has made the shower almost enjoyable! If you have showered in a TT, you understand what I’m saying. Amazing difference both inside and outside! So, for $25, 2 beers and 60 minutes from grabbing everything I needed and putting it in the trailer, opening the packaging that always makes you swear and bleed, we had a really nice fixture with some water pressure to boot! The hose is metal sleeved and the shower head is chromed plastic.

We went ahead and swapped out the white cover on the hot and cold valves to chrome and wow! This is an easy DIY with a difficulty rating of #1, max. Camping Mart would charge you several hundred dollars to do what I did in 60 minutes from grabbing 2 tools to being cleaned up and leak free.

We purchased this shower head kit to replace the one that came on the outside shower of our rpod. The one that came with the rpod leaked at the hose connection to the RV and also did not shut off completely with it’s ‘off’ and ‘on’ control on the handle.

The hose on theC amco 43713 Shower Head Kit is easier to attach and tighten than the original one, and when screwed on with a little plumbing tape on the rpod fitting, it did not leak at all. The on/off switch on the shower head works well, without leaking.

I would purchase this product again.

What a fantastic shower head. Great pressure. we have very little pressure from our well, and this product was the answer. Just great! We had purchased 2 others before, put one in our RV because of the water saving, one in the spare bath, and this one, which has the different settings, in the master bath.

Installation was very easy, no leaks at all if u do it correctly. The water pressure is great, it has 3 different settings and all are very nice. We had the problem of the water smelling and now the water comes out very clean and fresh.

A product that actual works. Our previous shower head gave little flow but this one is so much better and the filtration with the stones makes for very soft water. I’d recommend 100%.

Stone Stream has given us a strong and steady stream of water from our shower. It was really nothing more than a trickle before and such good value too!. So, no need to shower people with expensive presents at this time of year.

I had ordered this because I had 5 spare shower head assemblies due to plasticky crap and wanted solidity and craftsmanship. First it came two days early. Check. Packaged well with minimal waste (I. e.

non recyclable) CheckAppears well crafted and solid. Check5 mins to install with no hand tools and no leaks first try. Check. Water pressure. Wow. Check. Attractive as in the Amazon pics. CheckLet’s talk about water pressure.

There are now two choices. I chose the higher 2. 5 GPM output. Some people’s base water pressure cannot support that. Some homes have very high pressure and a low flow head may be better or safer. So do your research.

My head is wonderful but I have good plumbing with strong but not crazy water pressure. Let’s talk about installation. If you do not have a lot of plumbing experience, I suggest watching a few tutorials on YouTube.

The instructions are basic. There are tips and tricks videos that will help you. Like how to avoid cross threading. Why you shouldn’t use wrenches for this application. How many times and in what direction the plumbing tape should be applied.

Holding your shower neck while attaching the shower head holder. Inspecting the included rubber washers, etc. Also I recommend using quality plumbers tape. No offense to the included tape. It’s nice to have it if you don’t have any other plumbing supplies.

The packaging was the first indication of quality. It came with everything required for a quick and easy installation. The 2. 5gpm provides a shower with great water pressure without stinging your skin.

Some reviews mentioned the hose rusting. Given the hose is metal, I can understand the rusting. In an attempt to eliminate rusting of the hose, I let it hang to the floor when I’m done. This allows water to drain out of the hose.

I then merely hang it in the bracket when I’m leaving the bathroom. It is not inexpensive, however, in my opinion it is a quality product and worth the asking price.

Our new house came with a stationary shower head. We prefer the handheld kind, to make it easier to rinse off the walls of the shower when washing them. We have had inexpensive plastic-that-looked-like-metal handheld shower heads before, and we didn’t want to go that route again.

I tried to find a Delta handheld shower head to match the rest of the bathroom fixtures, but couldn’t. So I tried Amazon for a non-Delta product that might match, anyway. The Hammerhead shower head is, as advertised, all metal, and installation was a snap.

After it was removed, I was horrified to find out that the original Delta shower head we were replacing was plastic-that-looked-like-metal! Shame on you, Delta!The only thing we deviated from the installation instructions on was using Teflon tape in both places where one piece had to be screwed to another.

Other than that, it was a breeze to install, and we love the way the shower water feels.

Does everything it was advertised to do. I have good waterpressure for showers now, which I had poor pressure before. Another nice feature is the flexible nozzles on the head, they alloy for easy cleaning.

If they appear to clog, all that is required is to rub your thumb over the nozzles and they are clear. A very comfortable and attractive shower head.

The water restrictor is SUPER easy to remove for cleaning. The spray jet pattern is awesome, especially in California! And it looks great, almost a retro look to it. I liked it so much I fitted all of my shower heads with it.

No issues with installation. Quality piece for the price point. Excellent water pressure and flow – especially if you remove the restrictor.

It works. We wanted a shower head that we could pause, and then resume without turning off/readjusting the water. This does that. However, I am not thrilled by the various shower spray choices, not one of them is a nice firm flow.

Additionally, the color, although listed as brushed nickel, is too shiny for me.

Arrived on time and love that it comes with the tape etc. It seems like a nice fixture for the cost. However, the finish is not brushed nickel it is a shiny chrome finish. Im going to try and make it work with my existing brushed nickel.

Does give high pressure. But it’s SO high makes the water sound like it’s coming out of a fire hydrant. It’s very annoying sound. The water feature is like a regular 2in shower head on rain shower mode.

Does have a pause option. Did not like it not for my family going to put my old one back on.

Easy to install: I’m 62 years old and was concerned this would be too difficult a job so I was sure to have maintenance on standby. Not necessary, the process was pretty simple and directions were clear.

Note: there was leaking at the main connection until I removed the extra washer. I noticed the old shower head didn’t have it and there’s been no more issues since I removed it. The shower head is so much better than what we had: better pressure; better spray modes which even includes pause mode; and the extra long hose is priceless (great for washing the dog).

There was an issue with adjusting to the height of the water flow but the pause mode and the ability to remove it from its bracket made that easier. The bracket can also be (effortlessly) angle adjusted.

Another great selling point: the lifetime antimicrobial protection against mold, mildew, and bacteria feature. Overall, this is a fantastic product at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it.

I like everything about this shower head. I use all of the features of this product and for the first time in years, I feel that I have rinsed off all the soap residue. The pause feature is great for soaping and shampooing to save water.

The hand held head is great for washing hair, using the massage feature for specific areas of body and cleaning the tub and shower. I liked this shower head so much, I bought one for my daughter, who also loves this product and uses both heads at the same time.

This shower head is absolutely incredible. It provides the best shower I have ever taken, hands down. I would give it more than five stars if possible. I almost did not purchase because I read reviews saying the hose was stiff, and that it was made of plastic.

The hose is just fine after a couple days and hot water ran through it. It is easy to spray yourself and is not a problem. The shower head is plastic but it’s very sturdy and weighs a good amount but not too much.

It does not feel cheap. The pause option is great because you do not have to turn the water off and then back on getting it back to the right temperature. The pressure amount is great. The double head provides a combination of luxurious experiences.

This product is one of the best shower heads I’ve purchased. I’ve had the same one and I just keep cleaning it with CLR for 15 years. Finally decided to break down and after tons of research, this showerhead was available for purchase online.

I had just purchased their filter and it was amazing. The reviews for this were great, and they were right! The flow is super high. The 1st setting is great for high pressure needs and the base spray is fantastic with the decent water pressure it provides.

I purchased this TheraSpa shower head by AuquaBliss for my 94 year old Mom and she loves it! I’m impressed with the quality considering the low price tag. But beyond price, I chose this particular model specifically because of it’s generously long hose.

My Mom uses a bath chair as she can’t stand while showing. This long hose gives her more than enough leeway to reach her sitting position without having to stretch or pull on it. She can now comfortably and safely direct the water without being limited on movement.

My water pressure went down to the point it was just sprinkling. Decided to purchase a new one and started to research. AquaBliss got high ratings and the upside was the fliter which I had been wanting to get due to the hard water and bad quality.

Once i installed and saw the pressure, I was happily relieved 1) it was the old showerhead, as pressure was remarkable on new showerhead 2) the instant notice of water feeling cleaner and 3) how my skin felt softer after the shower I would definitely recommend the AquaBliss showerhead and filter.

There was concern why Amazon wouldnt sell to me. AquaBliss informed me it was due to CA regulation on output of water. I asked my landlady if there was a difference in the water bill and she didnt see anything.

So thats good to know.

This is the second Waterpik special showerhead I have installed in my bathrooms, and I am glad I did. This one is now in the hall bathroom upstairs with all the bedrooms. Easy install, with the removal of previous shower head and installing this new one, around five minutes with minimal effort, everything is seamless and no plumbing tape or caulk required.

This dual shower head gives you the option of a hands free shower and then finishing up with the hand held for your lower limbs and hard to reach places. Also makes cleaning your shower easy as you can use the hand held after you shower to wash down the shower.

There is a three position switch included to change between the handheld, the stationary or both. Note when using both the water pressure is shared between the two shower heads. For me the best way to use this is as I described, hands free and then finish up with the hand held.

Good to have the option of both, and this is a good option to offer any overnight guests or anyone else in your home based on which type of shower head they are accustomed to, either a stationary or hand held.

Overall a good, up to date addition to your bathroom.

I apologize for not writing the review earlier and thank you for the constant email pester reminders which is necessary, because we are so easily distracted. When test subjects are useable just coming out from the package, the reviews will come quicker.

When it requires installation, then it will take longer as in this case. The installation is super easy, just remove the old showerhead and screw on without needing any doping tape. The unit did not leak even hand tighten.

The installation instruction is a bit confusing. I appreciate the unit is all self-contained, so it just screws on. The installation showed the exposed views of the parts, which most people have no interest in.

When I looked at the exposed view, I was looking for all those parts, upon further inspection, I realized the unit is all self-contained. Pictures depicted may not directly illustrate your shower head.

This is convenient, but confusing for people who read. This is a fixed mount and handheld combination, which I have seen in most home stores. I have not seen much difference. I like the combination; the fixed mount provides stronger water flow, and the handheld can direct the water to where I want.

The combination mode is a nice touch; the more water sprays; the more I feel clean, but both showerheads have reduced water flow. I replace the showerhead when there is enough calcium buildup from hard water that slows the water flow.

I don’t feel this has better or worse water flow than the rest. I like strong water flow; it is dictated by the municipal water pressure. With water-saving restrictions, the water flow has been reduced.

These showerheads have spray and pulsating massage modes. I usually leave it in the full spray mode, because I like the strong spray. The massage mode is nice, but due to the water pressure, the pulsating feel is not much different from the spray mode.

I go to the health club to work out several times a week; afterward, I use the strong shower, steam room, and Jacuzzi. When I have that experience, the home version is not very satisfying; nevertheless, it is a nice feature to have.

When my old showerhead is clogged, I would be happy with this replacement. Thank you.

Waterpik shower heads are well made and affordable addition to your bathroom. The Waterpik Power Spray+ is no exception. It’s quick to install and I like the chrome finish because it matches in my master bath.

I was amazed that this waterpik has 10 spray settings and two sprayers. One sprayer is mounted to the shower pipe and the other is handheld. You can even use both together to give you a relaxing or energizing shower.

They call it a 2 in 1 shower system. Some of the 10 settings include a power spray, a pulsating massage, a full body spray, a slow massage, or my favorite, the full body massage spray. I use the hand shower sprayer the most, but the mount shower head is great for when I wash my hair.

One thing you can’t beat is that this WaterPik’s PowerSpray+ has a lifetime warranty. If you want to try a 2 in 1 system, this is a great one to try. I received this shower head for free to test and review.

Great price, and I was not expecting it to be TOP QUALITY but it’s exceeded anything I can imagine from the$200 range its even much more expensive looking when you install it. The picture doesn’t do it justice.

I didn’t expect much with the price being low. So I installed it in about 30 minutes and it works great. Just remember this is plastic and don’t over tighten things. I’m happy with the shower heads. Hopefully it will last a few years.

I can not believe the water pressure from the AquaDance. I like the fact you can temporarily turn the water off from the main shower head. I have sulfur water which causes harm to all my plumbing. This is the third shower head I had to buy in the past 6 years.

Just had this installed in my new bathroom and I love it! It’s like showering in a warm blanket the way the water covers you. Love that I can use either the shower head or hand held together or separate.

Awesome shower Head, The plumbing at my home consist of old Galvanized pipes which are no doubt the cause of my abysmal water pressure. Like many reviewing this shower head I did not get very good water pressure, rinsing off took some time and effort after scrubbing and I simply desired a better shower.

While not a miracle worker this shower head does increase the pressure of the water coming out and it really does have focused but decent coverage. which widens the further away you are from the head.

The water coming out went from barely touching the middle to hitting the back wall, soaps rinse off my body much faster and I feel much more refreshed after having showered with this head on my shower.

The shower head has 4 jets that come from it and while powerful and focused they fan in opposing directions for better coverage “be sure the delta logo is right side up after tightening on the shower head for best water coverage and rinsing”.

Please note you dont have to continue tightening to get the delta logo upright as the head itself has an elbow that allows it to twist without tightening the threads to a breaking point. I noticed very insignificant differance between the two modes, both work well but the one thats slightly stronger is the one I opted to set the head at.

Please note that the differance is very minimal and youll only be able to tell while showering. Only time will tell how long the shower head holds up but for now I must say this is the best performing shower head I have tried thus far in use with my awful water pressure.

This shower head is freakin’ amazing! I purchased it for about $20 after reading reviews about it on various tech sites and I am beyond amazed. I have decent water pressure in my 3 story town home, but I did not know what I was missing until I installed this shower head.

Even with the flow restrictor in place, this Delta shower head made my previous “multi-function fancy doo-dad” shower head look like a chump. If you’re looking to supercharge your showering experience while “ballin’ on a budget”, I highly suggest you purchase this now! At the very worst, return it at your neighborhood Kohl’s if you don’t like it.

No harm, no foul. Pros: – Easy to install – Amazing spray pattern with great pressure (it will not beat you up, but it is no slouch either). – Super inexpensive compared to other high-end shower heads.

– Saves money on water bill because you are in and out of the shower faster. Cons: – Spray pattern is not adjustable. You can however adjust the pressure/gpm (pressure difference is barely noticeable).

– Only available in chrome at the time of this review.

This thing is lasting longer (and better) than most relationships! 😉 I purchased this shower head back in April 2014 as I had a roommate who took looooonnnnggg showers. My water bills were not pretty back then and despite my requests, her showering habits never changed.

So, I had to get rid of my fancier designer Kohler rainfall shower head and replace it with one that would no only improve the water pressure coming through, but would also help me conserve water. Now 4.

5 years later and this Delta shower head is going as strong as ever. Never an issue with it, ever. I don’t understand some of the negative comments in here and cannot help if either they received a fluke lemon or it just wasn’t installed correctly, perhaps? Either way, over four years of innumerable showers with zero incident.

If this one ever fails, I will absolutely replace it with another just like it as I love the way it sprays. :D.

Really enjoying this showerhead!! Even though it’s plastic (with a chrome coating), it seems to be very well made, and the design specifically says you don’t need plumbers tape. which is a big win for me because I never have it.

I tightened everything by hand, and so far everything has stayed tight with no dripping or leaking connections. It comes with an extender that brings the head both out and up so I can fit underneath it (I’m 6’ tall).

For a low flow head, the water pressure is definitely adequate for my wife and me. We really don’t appreciate getting blasted from above. It really is a relaxing stream to wash beneath.

We needed a new shower head for the kids’ bathroom. So I was thrilled to have a chance to try this one. Not only stylish, but it works beautifully. My 3 year old likes a shower but the shower head in our other bathroom has too strong of a stream for him.

This one has a rainfall stream and he loves it. It is even gentle enough for his 2 year old sister. I know have to run the shower to fill up the tub because he enjoys it so much. This was the perfect addition to their bathroom.

Wanted a new shower head. This one is very easy to install. I just needed a adjustable wrench. I feel like the arm should be longer so the shower head extends out into the shower more. I feel like I am hugging the wall with this shower head.

The water pressure is great and I could easily get all the shampoo and conditioner out of my long hair.

Being an engineer it seems ferreting out which product is best for you without known parameters to compare makes the choice daunting. It seems sometimes you have to buy the wrong one the first time to find out what you should have bought but I hit it right the first time this time with the Speakman.

The three things I want in a shower head/handheld shower is quality – no leaks and stays where you aim it and lots of water pressure and an easy way to adjust it. The Speakman is built very well with nice thick gaskets so no Teflon thread tape is even required, although they do supply it if there were only short threads on the spigot coming of your wall.

With moderate tightening of all nuts it stays rock solid with no droop in any position you adjust it to. Now, as to pressure, one mfg says 2. 0 gpm an the next says 2. 5 gpm but at what water pressure??? – no standard used by all mfgs I know of and without this info the flow numbers are meaningless.

Most all of today’s shower heads also have flow restrictors – fine if you own a motel but if I am paying for the water I resent the state or federal government telling me what I can have. Some mfgs tell you the restrictors can be removed.

Spearman does not say anything about restrictors or their removal but in two minutes they can be removed and the resulting increase in flow is remarkable. The first is actually a check valve at the inlet of the hose.

Try blowing on this end of the hose and you’ll see you can barely force air through it. Needle nose pliers and a narrow flat screw driver can pop it out. Ditto for the actual restrictors at the inlet to the shower heads.

They are visible after removing the screen/gasket. I suggest leaving the screens as there is minimal effect on pressure drop and they catch small particles of whatever that can clog the individual little nozzles in the shower heads.

There is no easy way to get behind the restrictor to push it out so you have to use some force and wiggling to pull it out. Don’t worry about ruining the small plastic restrictor parts inside as they go in the trash after removal and the inside of the shower head is robust and a scratch or two does nothing harmful to the interior of the pipes in the shower heads.

When you have removed all interior parts and can see an open pathway thru the pipe into the hose and shower heads, assemble the components per the instructions. Don’t be afraid to crank down fairly hard as the components are well built.

If you do not want to mess around with removing the restrictors the unit is still probably a good choice but with a couple minutes of work you can have a fire hose at full flow position and can be throttled down to a dribble with a simple turn of the adjustment ring.

This style of Speakman showerhead was used in a Marriott hotel I recently stayed at. It was an immediate “wow”, compared to the showerhead I have at home. Water came out fast and strong. The various water patterns were easily selected by rotating the outer shell of the showerhead.

Very smooth and logical. I loved the clean modern look, so I did a quick look up and ordered one for home. Nothing special about installation, just screw off the old one, retape the threaded connection (plumbing tape included) and screw the new one on.

It worked just as it did in the hotel. UNFORTUNATELY though, there was an unexpected surprise – it creates an inordinate amount of steam. So much so that the bathroom’s exhaust fan was pretty much useless! Not wanting to deal with the steam causing further paint peeling due to the high moisture, I sadly took it off and put the old showerhead back up.

If I move to a place with an enclosed shower, I will most definitely reinstall. (if you’re wondering why I didn’t notice this at the hotel, there was a central exhaust vent in the bathroom. I realize now it was doing a very good job!).

The GPM on the Speakman S-3010 Neo Anystream High Pressure Adjustable 2. 5 GPM Shower Head is pretty high, at least for me. My prior shower head pushed out a drop of two of water per minute, so this new shower head is like the Hoover Dam opened up and flood out Las Vegas.

Instead of taking 10, 15, 20 minutes to wash soap lather off of my body with my old shower head, now I feel like I’m drowning and better be careful not to attempt to breath while under the Speakman’s prolific water downpour.

I feel like there is balance in water consumption from before and after. Before I was taking much longer just to rinse off, using less water per minute, but then taking a lot of minutes to just finish up.

Now a lot more water per minute, but much shorter showers. Have to wait for sever water bill cycles before I can provide a full CBA (cost/benefits analysis).

To be clear, there is a flow restrictor. This is easily removed with a drywall screw and a good yank. I cant comment on the flow before removal, but after? Its powerful. It looks great, and Im okay with it being plastic, since Id only rather have it be made from aluminum, which would raise the price considerably.

That said, it feels well constructed, and likely uses some fiber reinforced plastic.

I am very impressed with this dual head shower assembly. I installed it myself, and have been impressed with the ease of installation and performance. No modification necessary because the water pressure improved after installation.

You can use both heads at the same time by simply adjusting the control on the side. Full pressure on each head, or a rain shower using both heads. Very satisfied with this purchase! Just follow the directions and use the appropriate amount of teflon tape to insure a proper seal.

I would definitely buy this again.

This is a similar model to my previous one, and it’s just not as good. Granted, I got this one cheaper, because it was on sale, and the regular price was lower than what I paid for the last one, but only by a little.

Both are/were the 5-jet models. First-off, I only like the strong massage spray setting, and this one doesn’t feel quite as strong – like thinner streams – more of a stinging than a thumping sensation, if that makes sense.

Also, on that setting, there is a fair amount of scattered spray, which is why I finally replaced the old one. All of these start spraying everywhere when they get old and gunked-up. My old one was hitting my straight in my eyes all the time, so I wasn’t very happy that this is doing it a little bit, right out of the box.

Otherwise, the regular spray setting doesn’t do this, installation was a breeze (they even include some plumber’s tape!) and flow is decent, so I’m just docking it the one star.

I tried this Speakman S-2005-HB-PB Anystream High Pressure 2. 5 GPM Adjustable showerhead & installed it at my mom’s house, and so far do not regret it. My mother’s house is laidened with polished brass/gold hardware and bathroom fixtures, which are no longer available at local stores because that finish is out of style.

I wanted to match her existing bathroom fixtures, so it was refreshing that I could order this showerhead for her and install it myself. It was easy to install and only took 4 minutes! Her old showerhead was simply just BAD, so once I installed this Speakman showerhead you could see and feel the major difference between her old head and the new one.

I love that it’s adjustable with powerful streams. My mother’s pleased; thus I’m pleased. Great buy!.

I decided to splurge and try a higher-quality shower head with some of the stimulus money. I’m very glad I did — while my old shower head (3D printed) did okay, this one does a much better job of focusing the flow into fine needles of strong spray.

It’s been a while since I’ve taken a shower and felt the water spray combing the dirt out of my hair. This one (on the spray setting) does that. TL;DR: This is the opposite of those “rain” shower heads that gently drizzle water on you (and that’s a good thing.

) If your idea of a nice shower is being gently power-washed, this is for you.

You need 80 PSI for it to work properly. The product description didn’t state this when I purchased it. Seller wants me to pay shipping to return which of course is unacceptable as they didn’t have a full product description.

If I had known I needed 80 PSI I wouldn’t have purchased.

The picture miss lead me to believe it would work on the wall. Found it was designed for the ceiling. My mistake, not being used.

I replaced a similar unit I’d used for many years. Due to lime buildup the spray pattern was very irregular. At the price I paid, why try to clean the old one, just replace it. The quality looks very good, the swivel & shutoff valve work slick as butter & I think the water flow is even less than the old unit, which as I measured it years ago by running it into a bucket for 1 minute was 1 fifth as much water as the ordinary shower head I replaced at that time.

You may never run out of hot water again due to the surprising low flow. Great product, great price!.
