The Oxygenics handheld shower head was very easy to install. No tools were required and everything you need was included in the box. At first I thought the plumbers thread tape was missing, but I looked through the packaging again and found it.

All you have to do is unscrew the old shower head and screw this one in its place. After that you can peel some double stick tape for the wall mount. I like that it is saving me water as it’s less stress on the septic tank.

You can even change the flow setting if you want to use less water. I usually keep it on the highest setting because it’s not extremely strong pressure, but if you want to save even more water you can put it on the low setting while you’re sudsing up.

Nice product and easy to use, works well.

This shower head really makes our shower in the RV worth using. Our trailer doesnt have a lot of pressure but this one makes a difference. I had one of these in my old trailer and loved it. When we got the new RV I thought I would upgrade to one that cost twice as much and seemed to have better reviews.

Big mistake! The better one didnt make much difference. I should have saved my money and gone with the tried and true one.

I used this as a replacement to the factory shower head on my 2014 Palomino Sabre when the button on the factory one got so stiff you could hardly use it. There are different replacements made by different manufacturers.

This has a great spray pattern and uses the factory mount. I was not impressed with the bulk of Oxygenics head, mounting method or price. I have one in my home shower and I would say it’s average. They advertise a lot in RV magazines, so I think they sell more for that reason.

This is a good and CHEAP alternative, plus the finish matched the brushed nickel in the rest of the bathroom!.

This shower head is the exact head that originally came with the camper. The old one failed after 4 years of full time use. This is the best shower head for a camper with water pressure set at 45psi.

We have tried other heads and were not satisfied. If this one fails in the distant future, I will definitely purchase the same one again.

I like the price and the overall quality but the shower head that comes with it is pathetic. I has one setting and the spray pattern leaves much to be desired with both pressure and coverage. The on/off button on the stock shower head leaks precious water when pushed off.

I replaced the stock shower head with a camco on/off shower head and I LOVE it! The camco on/off switch truly turns the water off when you turn it off. The camco head also has WAY BETTER pressure behind the spray pattern and has 5 different settings.

The true “blast” setting is nice because it actually has enough pressure to blast off – say for instance – your dog rolled in a lovely dead animal carcas, caked in mud from a sloppy mountain bike ride, mud off your paddleboard/other gear, doing dishes outside etc.

I have done all of these and this shower works great. If you haven’t already done it I highly recommend a pump silencing kit and an in line pre pressurized pump accumulator. And of course the best thing is just being out there and taking a nice shower is absolutely unbeatable and soooo refreshing when camping for extended periods of time! Get out there and happy camping!.

Bought this to replace what I thought was the identical unit on my Jayco coach that is 14 years old. Looked just like the original unit, but there was a catch, it was a tad bigger and it was a struggle to open up the hole since they had an aluminum frame embedded in the fiberglass sides and that couldnt be cut much.

Quality wise, its ok, nothing to write home about, but that is the case with lots of the plumbing and electrical fixtures that go into RV’s. It does the job and isn’t leaking so I cant complain too much.

Really not many choices if you need to replace one on your camper.

This showerhead was the perfect replacement for our outdoor shower on our Class C Motorhome. Extremely easy install (Just screw it on the hose) and we finally have a strong water flow again out of this head.

Construction is good and operation is very functional. The price on Home Essentials Direct makes this a great value as well. I expect that with weather extremes and usage, this should last at least a couple of years or more, and when it’s time, I’ll buy this same head again without hesitation! It’s a low FIVE STAR rating for me and I can honestly recommend the unit for replacing your tired or non-working showerhead.

I ordered this hose because it appeared on a search I did for shower heads to attach to an outdoor hose. It does not attach to an outdoor hose–it is made to connect to a hose that’s around 1/2″ in diameter.

I had to return it.

My original showerhead in my camper broke so I bought this one. It works fine but it flowed too much water versus the working pressure it was putting out so I’d run out of hot water too quickly. For people who camp a lot I’m sure you know how the learning curve is of getting a hot shower for any length of time.

Ran out of hot water in about 6 minutes using this shower head no mater what I did. I replaced this one with the oxygenics brand and it is 1000 times better than this one. 20 minute showers no problem with the oxygenics shower head and it has twice the pressure as well.

Buy it instead.

After my original shower head broke in my RV, I struggled to find a worthy replacement. I went through several other models and solutions only to find that some would not shut off with the valve while others did not have various spray options.

As for the showerhead itself, there are several settings including massage, massage w/ shower and high/low shower settings. Having this multitude of settings helps when pressure of a campground is off or when I need to conserve water as I am using my tanks and pump.

Installation is straightforward, not requiring any tools in my instance as the mount from my previous shower head works with this one. My only complaint is that the on/off switch is tough to slide and as the holes in the shower head are rather small it drips for a while before completely shutting off (it does completely shut off though).

Overall, I have been very pleased with this product and would recommend due to its versatility in various water situations.

We primarily stay at state and National Parks without full hookups and sometimes without water or electric. Although we have a 60 gallon fresh water tank on our travel trailer, we still need to conserve water if we stay for more than a few days.

This shower head screwed in very easily and allows us to set the temperature then turn off the shower head intermittently without having to turn the water on/off and readjust the temperature each time.

Saves a lot of water and works great!.

(Yes I did test it with the 12 volt water pump in the camper, fantastic!) I even got lucky and the old shower head holder worked for this new one, bonus! This shower head got great reviews in RV Magazine, I’m glad I made the switch.

And as much as it hurts to say this, Walmart had a better price than what I could find elsewhere. (4 stars because there is always room for improvement).

In fact, I’m not sure how it’s possible, but my water progressively gets colder when I use the shut off valve, then when I turn it back on, I get blasted with cold water prior to the warm water returning.

Not fun. I tried it 3 different times in dis-belief, but it happened every time. I guess I won’t be using the shut off valve, and just will be turning off the water with supply handles. For this reason, I would not purchase again, or recommend.

Water pressure is OK – Wife says it’s like getting a shower under a garden hose. We’ll use it for a while, until something better comes along.

Color wasn’t a perfect match but it was darn close. I didn’t want a heavy metal, chrome line, and i was able to use the existing mount for the shower head. In other words it was perfect for my boat! Plus the shower head is great with a flow like home.

If you like great pressure, even water steam, easy to turn to different streams, not annoyingly dripping on you… this is an amazing product. that I decided to buy this

Turned the low water pressure of the camp ground into a massaging shower. What a difference!!!!

It took forever to get to me. After it was installed it was no better than the old valve. It leaked also. I do have the old valve to investigate, and do a QA on. At this time and date I am very upset with your product and your shipping.

Where is workman ship and pride ???????.

This was purchased to replace the original in our trailer that had fallen apart. This shut-off on this replacement is not as good as the original as it still allows water to seep through.

This replaced the old hose & head lost by the prior owner of my camper. Time will tell. Delivery was on-time.

Sorry. we were not very impressed with this product. First there is a tiny hole in the bottom front of the part that screws on to the wall that drip drips constantly. I have no idea what purpose it serves, but all units have that.

I made sure it was properly installed, which it was. It also appears to allow a tiny amount of water enter the wall area to the back of the shower (not a good thing,as any water in an rv where it isn’t supposed to be is not a good thing).

The hose to the sprayer was terrible,not flexible at all,so the nozzle twisted and sprayed in a direction (including the ceiling)totally against where it was being aimed. I tried running totally hot water in the hose to see if that would make it more pliable.

I wound up taking the whole thing off and replacing it with the old one! We replaced our kitchen and vanity faucets with no issues and are happy with them. Someone really should reassess that shower hose/faucet again.

Terrible product.

When I replaced my junky shower head with this one it was suddenly the best thing since sliced bread. (The cheap loaves. ) That was over a year ago. But then I found another cheapy that I liked better, so this is now in a box with the other sour apples.

Maybe I just have commitment issues and I got bored with it. Or maybe I just didn’t like the way it was looking at me while I was taking a shower. Or maybe it was just a little to “missionary” when I was hoping for a little more SnM.

Whatever it was, our time together was good, and that’s what matters. Right? (And how do you relate to YOUR shower head, hmmm?!?!?! hahaha) Seriously though: it’s cheap, it works perfectly adequately, and it looks good.

So ya, good bang for the buck.

First off – this is a solid quality-built sprayer. It appears that it would stand up to heavy usage very well. What I don’t like is: I bought for a DIY portable camp shower. The hose size is just right (3/8″ ID) for the 12v pump I am attaching it to.

The problem I have with this shower head is the shut off does not shut off. Why put it there is it’s useless? Because it won’t shut off, the pressure pump I have it attached to still cycles, and the shower head dribbles water, even when the shutoff is, well, shut off.

There should be a million tree-hugging protesters lined up in front of the factory yelling about how this shower head wastes the earth’s precious water resources. While I don’t especially like the look of a kitchen sink sprayer unit, that’s the direction I’m going to have to go to get a sprayer that actually shuts off when it is supposed to.

Great shower head for my RV. It actually does boost the water pressure. It won’t sting you but it’s better than without it. It also works well with the on board pump when there are no water hookups. I also installed a shut off valve at the base of the handle to conserve water.

This along with a longer hose makes a big difference in the camping shower experience.

Easy to install and looks good. The shutoff switch is cheap and broke easily. The shower head holder doesn’t adjust so the angle of spray can’t be moved up or down.

Simple and effective technology provides a full spray from the showerhead. Sturdy and nicely finished. Good upgrade for our RV shower. Wife loves it.

I use in my camper trailer. Amazing how it seems like so much more water is working for you and I don’t run out of hot water. The hose is stiff and won’t straighten out so replace it with one available at Walmart for around $15.

Even buying both items was well worth the money. My old one hardly felt like I was getting wet, but would still end up exhausting the hot water supply.

This significantly improved the pressure in our RV shower. The stock shower head was very low pressure. The hose on the new system is very flexible and looks better than the stiff white hose on the stock.

I adopted the RV full timer lifestyle over 5 years ago. Of all the adjustments I was forced to make, my showers were the biggest sacrifice. Whether running on 12 volt pump or city water, the performance of stock shower heads was terrible.

YouTube steered me to this product long age. It just gets things wetter quicker than a standard RV shower head. It feels like there’s more pressure too. Getting wet to lather is quicker and rinsing is far quicker.

This shower head saves water when I want to save water. The biggest complaint about this shower head is its valve. It’s designed as a safety valve letting some water flow so there isn’t a scalding event when water is turned back on.

The water that flows is cold. Some hate it, myself included. I purchased an inline valve that so I can completely turn water flow off. I just turn the shower head away when I reactivate flow to avoid the scalding.

It’s what I was forced to do with the original RV shower head. Pick your poison. When I was offered this chrome version to review, I jumped at the chance to replace my original white. I learned something in the process.

My old white shower head ain’t what it used to be. Like boiling the frog I hadn’t noticed gradual performance decline over 4 years. I suspect that a soaking of the old head in vinegar would revive it.

I’m keeping the chrome.

This is a great shower head. I am full time RV living girl for 5 years now. This new handheld Oxygenics shower head is super easy to install. The water pressure has increased so much it is incredible change to my shower.

There is no more dribble shower that I used to have but have a full spray this is so great. The hose and shower head is so very great looking and looks beautiful adds a lot of expensive look to my tub.

I no longer have to take a quick shower. I get more power while saving water in my tank which makes more shower time. The Oxygenics spray setting works like a mini turbine jet infusing the water with oxygen which increases water pressure.

I cannot say enough good things about my new shower head. I just love my new shower head. Buy this shower head will make you shower great. you will be so happy with this new shower head.

Absolutely in love with this product. The water pressure and flow is exactly what I’ve needed! My older show head has become clogged and the water was barely trickling out. It was awful! This hs three different settings, depending on what you like.

It was easy to install, great pressure, and looks sleek and nice! You definitely won’t be disappointed!.

It’s certainly worth the 40 bucks I spent! I’ve yet to actually measure the gallons per minute flow but if it’s advertising is accurate, it’s an exceptional value for the money! Not sure why they listed “thickness” as a factor, but it does fit well in the hand.

Mine is the brushed nickel and it looks fabulous in my shower. It’s very close to the color of the original so it matches pretty well too! Can’t wait till tomorrow to take another shower!! Lol!.

WOW what a difference. It’s not like taking a shower in a luxury hotel, but compared to our old shower head, it sure feels like it. The one thing we did as a modification was to install the shut off valve at the shower handles rather than on the shower wand.

It wouldn’t fit in our preinstalled shower head holder unless we did this, and I think it works better for us that way at any rate. I would definitely buy this again for our next RV.

The showerhead is comprised of a hose and portable head but nowhere near the style and pizazz of the Ongenics.

My old one is white plastic with a white rubber hose. This new Oxygenics has a VERY attractive handle. It has a futuristic design and is nickle plated. It seems as if the handle may be slippery when held with a soapy hand, but so far I haven’t had that problem.

If you do encounter that problem then I would recommend putting a strip of tape on it. The water hose is also VERY attractive. It is a clear plastic hose wrapped (on the inside so you won’t feel the ribs and it can’t come undone) with a chrome coil –> very nice! Ok, so it looks VERY good, but how does it work? This unit makes me ashamed that I didn’t replace the old one sooner.

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways: 1. in an RV you have a water tank and (unless you are somewhere with a water hookup) therefore you only have limited amount of water. a. With my old system I had to constantly turn off the hot and cold water knobs to save water.

This new Oxygenics system has a pause button so I simply press it when I want to temporarily shut off the water flow. b. This new shower head uses much less water so even if I don’t use the pause botton I still use less water then I did with my old unit.

2. This new Oxygenics unit has much MORE power. With my old unit the water kind of fell out 🙁 While the new one BLASTS the water out. Much better to rinse soap and shampoo off of oneself. The plastic hose does have a slight smell but nothing offensive or worth a downgrade.

As I said, I am very happy that I got this shower head unit, am please with it and recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their RV or want a more powerful spray or want to conserve water.

This product has been on back order for over a month. That has not stopped Camping World from asking me for a review AND try to sell it to me (again) at a discount because I checked their website a couple of times.

This is by no means a critique of the product or CW s fulfillment (sometimes things are just not available). But it is a comment on their obtuse and aggressive e-marketing.

You want to charge a large sum of money to install it. Your Greenville facility wanted $2300.00 to install it. A private camper repair company charged me $100.00

I was able to take my broken outdoor shower out and put this unit right back into it’s place. It worked wonderfully!!

I bought this hoping to improve shower times in my Rv. The pressure from the older shower meant 30 to 40 minute showers that ended most of the time early due to lack of hot water. This shower head not only increased the pressure but also makes it feel like it’s a massager.
