My husband was having alot of trouble with red spots and itching every time he showered. We called a water conditioner company and they came over and checked out our water softner and said that was working fine and he suggested that we try a carbon filter.

He did not give us any brand name or anything so we looked on the internet and found AquaBliss. What I really liked about it was that it is not only a carbon filter, but also has minerals that help your skin.

I was skeptical that a filter would have this much effect on the way my hair feels but this far exceeded expectations. I always thought my hair felt so soft and shiny after my stylist did my hair because she was just that much better at blow drying than I am but now I see, it’s so much to do with the water quality.

I have super chlorinated hard water and though this doesn’t soften the water, it definitely filters out all the bad stuff that had been coating my hair and keeping it from reaching its full potential.

I actually had product slip while in the shower and much better absorption after towel drying. My skin also didn’t feel immediately dry and itchy like it normally does, where I am running for the lotion as soon as I dry off.

I live in an area of Texas where the water is so bad that you can’t drink it and it will kill your house plants. When it comes to taking showers it causes dry skin and skin rashes. And as far as trying to wash your hair, forget it.

I’ve tried other water filters and they were okay. The AquaBliss stands out above the rest. It was very easy to install. I could tell a huge difference the first time I used it. After 5 days skin rashes went away and I feel like I have clean hair again.

The product is promising. I haven’t yet noticed results in my skin quality, but I’ve only been using the shower-water-purifier for a couple of weeks now, so it probably takes more time. The purifier unit itself seems solidly designed and well built.

The chrome shower-wand that I also bought with it as part of the package is pretty forgettable; I could have just kept my previous showerhead. There was an issue with instructions/ installation. The instructions warned me not to wrench-tighten more than a quarter turn or it would leak.

But it did leak anyways and I had to call customer service, get them to send a replacement part, try the replacement part, have the same problem, and finally on my own come to the (correct) conclusion that the leak needed to be addressed by wrench-tightening the unit by more than prescribed.

I live in CA where the water is hard. This seems to make the water softer and has resulted in softer hair and less itchy skin. Installation was a chore. What should’ve taken 15 minutes to install ended up being a 3 hour process trying to resolve issues with leaking due to poor design.

I reinstalled 3X, using plumber’s tape, tightening beyond the quarter turn recommendation in instructions, and when to the hardware store to purchase gaskets to better the seal. Nothing has worked to resolve the leak so I just left it as is.

I’m annoyed but the benefits outweigh the cons.

I purchased the white shower head filter. Installation was easy peasy. Water pressure still as good as before My hair, skin and nails are 100% happier. It took about 7-10 days but all of a sudden my hair was really shining and so much softer, I have middle of my back length hair and this shower head is only going to help with growth.

My skin looks moisturized without needing lotion. It’s just all around a good product! I also purchased the water for life so I know my product always has a good filter in it!.

I have to admit, I was skeptical at first. This filter by far is great! I love the settings & the way it makes my hair & skin feel. We will be getting more.

I moved from a place with soft water to one with the hardest water I’ve ever felt. I couldn’t brush my hair after a shower while my hair was wet. It was torture to brush my hair if it was dry. My hair was tangled 24 hours, breaking, and frizzy.

I purchased this filter a couple months ago and wanted to wait to write a review to see what kind of results it produced first. I wish now that I had this filter on my shower for years and would recommend it to anyone for their shower.

It is very easy to install (took appx. two minutes) noticeably cuts down on the tub grime I had before from the hard water and the number one reason I purchased it was to see if it helped with hair loss, which it actually does – I have noticed much less hair loss since I installed this filter.

I have used a few different brands of shower filters in this style. My city has water that gives your tub a pink scum. This did not remove it at all, right from the beginning. The reason I buy these is for my hair.

This did not keep my hair as soft and damage free as other filters have. I will not buy this brand again.

I moved into an area where even with a brand new water filtration system the well water is harsh. It took a week and a half to clean the shower of the red from iron. I have curly hair which is very porous and well water will wreak havoc on my hair.

I installed this shower head and filter myself (over 50 female) and that was as simple as changing a shower head. I am a very meticulous person and it’s clean and sleek looking. I also need to make mention it has been three weeks and my shower has not getting a iron buildup.

I’ve used the shower filter for a year now, hoping it would help with our very hard water here in Santa Barbara, CA. I live in a condo that can’t accommodate a water softener, so this seemed like the best solution, especially for my hair.

I started using it over a year ago. It seemed OK, but after about 4 months’ I bought some water testing strips so I could check the hardness level, and it tested at the highest lever hardness. I just installed a new filter (as I do every 4 months) and tested it again…and it tested at the hardest water level – the same as the hardness level before I installed the filter! I’m disappointed.

I bought the filter and the shower head attachment. The filter is working fine I think. Noticed a slight improvement in skin and hair but I think it’ll be more noticeable in the long run. My biggest issue is the water pressure.

It’s so bad. I don’t know why. It takes me soo much longer to rinse out soap from body and shampoo & conditioner from hair. I might try to out my own shower head instead of Aquasana shower head and see if that makes a difference.

I’d rate this shower head as just “okay”, especially for the price. First of all, it doesn’t have very good pressure, so it takes a long time to wet and rinse my hair. Second, there are a lot of different spray patterns, but none of them is very effective.

Third, on some of the settings, the outer ring of the sprayers will fling water in all directions randomly. It’s very strange. Lastly, I’ve had this for less than a month and the main seal blew out a couple of days ago, so I’m filing a warranty claim.

Hoping this company makes good on the warranty. I’m glad I registered it when I got it!!.

Not bad, but not great. I wish they would allow to use the middle and outside the same time. it’s either a hole in the middle with good pressure or a small middle spray with good pressure, not both. If they would just make it a tad smaller, eliminate the pulsing option no one really uses and focus on the hole positions that would hit your full head I would keep the product.

I own just about everything else T3 makes and this one disappointed me.

I should’ve gotten this a longgg time ago. In the part of Louisiana I’m from you can smell the chlorine and the dirt in the water. During the summer it’s so bad the chlorine will make your eyes burn.

This would’ve been great to have there. I moved to Georgia just a few months ago (for reasons unrelated to water) and the water here is well water and sometimes will have sediment in it. I came across the T3 beauty shower a while ago but had read some reviews (on Amazon) that made me doubt the efficacy of this product, but I didn’t hold out for long, my hair is top 3 greatest feature for me and the change in climate was definitely causing a change for the worse with my hair.

I ordered it (mounted, not hand held, it came in super fast, and after examining it I think the Amazon user may have purchased a counterfeit product from an unauthorized seller because the picture in their review didn’t look like the beauty shower I received.

It was easy to install. Maybe I have low water pressure already, or it just wasn’t an issue because I didn’t notice a change in pressure. I didn’t notice any difference in the water itself or a soft water vs hard water feel to it.

However, just as other reviewers have told you, there was a difference in my skin and definitely in my hair with the first use. My hair (frizzy, wavy, long, different textures in different sections: from fluffy, bushy, and coarse, seriously one head, natural hair, different textures, weird, I know) has never felt softer! Totally worth it, and once you’ve bought the unit the filters aren’t exceptionally expensive, especially if they do last 6 months.

I tried first to install without plumbers tape and had several leaks. Save yourself time and use the white teflon tape on all joints. With tape, no leaks. I like this filter because it makes my hair smoother after I shower.

Before the filter, after washing and conditoning, my hair was still tangled and hard to comb out. After the filter, my hair is smooth and detangles easily. Also our water made my gray hair slightly yellowish instead of silver.

After I installed the filter, the yellowish cast to my gray hair disappeared. I highly recommend this shower filter. Instructions say “No tools needed”, but I used channel lock pliers, a stable stool to stand on, and the white plumbers teflon tape.

Easy to install, but if you have a large “rainfall” shower head, the connector that attaches to the pipe coming out of the wall doesnt tighten enough to keep the shower head straight. The weight of the shower head causes the whole assembly to rotate left or right.

The filter unit needs to be aligned along the vertical axis. If it rotates, the shower pattern is now either against the wall or the door/curtain.

It was great until it was time to replace the filter. The housing would NOT open! Went to the website only to find a comment from someone else who could NOT OPEN THE HOUSING, nor could Home Depot employees! The product appearance is fine.

The original filter worked great. The original cost was fine, but not when the housing won’t open & the entire product must be replaced.

It’s good but a little bit of water sprays/drips out of the filter where the threading is. Also, I can’t tell if it’s filtering. They said in the directions that if you have a faulty filter then you can ask for a replacement.

I can’t figure out how to tell. We already have soft water so I can’t tell by smell alone. Wish there was a water test to see if it’s working. It sure was easy to install though and I love all the claims in makes.

I’ve been living with hard water for the first time in my life for about a year. I increasingly put off showers & washing my hair, because I hated the experience of the hard water. After much research, I got this AquaYouth, and oh my gosh! For the first time in a year, my shampoo actually suds up, my hair gets squeaky clean, my skin gets squeaky clean! This means a lot to me.

I just couldn’t adjust to the hard water. It’s not even super hard. Just hard enough so that I had to use a lot of shampoo to get just a minimum of suds, and my hair and skin got dried out. I even started using distilled water to clean my face and wash my hair at the sink.

What I read of shower filters is that they were mainly for chlorine and such, which I don’t have a problem with. But there are a few than help with hard water, like this one. The cost was reasonable (although the replacement filter costs almost as much as the original filter attachment with filter, which may be a problem, if I have to replace the inner filter too often).

And the main thing is. it works. I was skeptical that it would work, but right away, I noticed that my soap and shampoo suds-up like the normal water I had in my prior house. My hair afterwards is easy to comb, again, and not dried out.

My skin doesn’t itch from the dryness. I was going to test with water strips, but the ones I have don’t work for hard water. I don’t think I need to spend money on test strips just for this purpose, since I can tell the difference in such an obvious way and know that it’s not just me wishing it works.

As for installing it, my old filter head screwed off easily (thank goodness). I ran water through each end of the AquaYouth for 1 minute each, put in the little screen filter (it’s clear and in the clear bag, so you have to look for it!), put one go-around of plumbing tape (which came with), and screwed on the AQ filter.

It screwed on easily, I hand tightened it, put my shower head back on and checked for leaks. No leaks!.

We moved from London to Seattle and my skin went nuts – what had been perfectly normal skin turned dry and itchy and NOTHING I did helped. I was even moisturizing with pure petroleum jelly and it was only helping a little bit.

I was baffled, nothing I searched for did anything, even my doctor was a bit perplexed (she suggested the petroleum jelly, and I was due to check in with her about this on my next visit). The water “hardness” had changed the “wrong” way for it to affect your skin.

I was baffled and miserable. Then I saw a random comment in a skincare discussion online and someone talked about chlorine in their water affecting their skin and a link to this filter. My water here in Seattle is so heavily chlorinated it can smell like a swimming pool coming out of the tap (which also can’t be great to be breathing in, regardless of what it’s doing to my skin).

Installed this filter and my skin has improved drastically. Used in combination with Vaseline Intensive Care lotion and the itching has basically stopped and my skin all over is returning to normal. I’m beyond thrilled because it was driving me crazy.

This thing is more than worth what I paid for it and I will happily buy refill filters until the end of time. It hasn’t decreased our water flow in the slightest and there’s no more smell! I’m thrilled!.

As little concerned that some people claimed it leaked. I used dope pipe tape and installed as in the instructions saw leak then realized the filter was loose hand tightened and no leak. Carbon black water removed as per instructions everything worked well.

Spm was 134 before then it reduced it to 120. I expected 80-100 i know drinking water filter sb about 50 but at least it did something because my frizzy hair felt noticeably softer and even my wife positively commented.

I felt more rejuvenated than a shower without the filter so the result is positive and noticible. I feel that it was a worthwhile purchase i have to see how much replacement filters will cost when im ready.

I thought it might be good because of the name and cost but it isn’t if you have a chlorine vapor allergy. Some of the water circumvents the filter because there’s no in-out specific pathway like pelican has.

(My #1 best brand for cost / effectiveness ratio) I was disappointed with this filter. I wheezed in the shower and it didn’t last long. It’s a lot smaller than the pelican, and the fittings are cheaper.

I’m sticking to what I know works from now on. I tried new things while away from North America. Because pelican was not easy or affordable there. But it didn’t work out.

Very Effective Shower Filter and lasts a long time, much better than most of the cheaper ones out there. I have been using these for almost 14 years and love them. I can always feel the difference in the water when I change to a new one.

However, it does hang down a lot from the shower outlet pipe and is quite large but it needs to be large to really filter out all the bad stuff. I tried those smaller ones and they do nothing.

I love these filters because they get the job done with really hard water and the shower head creates the best spa-like flow with great pressure. Nothing compares so I keep coming back–and I’ve tried many filter/head combos.

But every time I have to install these I need to make adjustments to keep it from leaking somewhere on the fixture. EVERY time. It might help if there weren’t so many threads on all the male connections? And since the connections are mostly plastic, using a wrench scratches the surface or worse, cracks the actual connection.

Often times I’m dealing with some sort of small drip, no matter how much plumbers tape I use, or attempts at getting an exact connection. Eventually the leak gets to be too much and the lime from the hard water builds up and I need to replace the entire system sooner than the recommended time, like every 3 months, the WHOLE fixture.

This bums me out because as I mentioned before, this is the best out there, but I’m tired of shelling out money to replace the whole fixture every 3 months. Can you guys maybe tweak the connections somehow?.

I was very excited to purchase two of the shower head systems. When I opened the outer shipping box that contained the two inner boxes. I noticed one was sealed in a plastic bag unopened. The other box did not have the plastic bag.

After further inspection opening the unsealed box. Everything was in disarray. There was scratches on the shower head where it mounts to the filter. After opening both filters it appeared item had been previously used.

I am highly disappointed that this item was even sent out as a new purchase. Both of the items work well. I am not one that enjoys going through the process of sending items back unless they don’t function properly.

Hope you guys can make this right. If not I will not be recommending your product to anyone. Great item just someone made a bad judgement call delivering a used item as new. Thank you for your time.

I live in an apartment and am unable to install any kind of whole house water filtration system. This was very easy to install. I have very hard water and you can smell the chlorine. I have been looking for a shower filter and I decided to give this a try.

The first thing I noticed was that the chlorine smell was gone. Other than that, it is hard for me to quantify the difference between using this filter vs not using it. I do have a water TRS meter, so I tested the filtered shower water vs the unfiltered water that came out of the tub spout and I got a reading of 262 vs 259 respectively.

So if I am solely relying on the TRS meter to quantify the difference, there doesn’t seem to be any. I will likely continue to use this product because it eliminates the chlorine smell.

My hair dresser suggested I look into a shower head filter for my hard water because my hair kept splitting and she could see the damage it was causing my hair. We even have a water softener! It was the best suggestion she could have made! After my second shower I could feel how smooth my skin was.

No dry itchy skin, my hair is silky smooth. My hair dresser is going to see the difference when I see her next. I love how easy it was to install. We have a filter on two showers and installed them in under 10 minutes total.

What I ordered came with replacement cartridges, so I marked on the box the 6 month replacement date so I’ll always have filtered shower water.

Pro:I ordered this inline shower filter because of the high chlorine content in my water. As soon as I would get in the shower and the water touched my body I would start itching. I had viewed a lot of inline shower filters online.

Some expensive and some less expensive like this one. I decided to take a chance since this was a Culligan and to see if it would do what the overview stated. But the name made the final decision to buy.

To sum this up it worked for me. The final test was washing my face in the shower which I stopped doing because the chlorine would burn my eyes really bad and made them really irritated. It didn’t with this inline shower filter and my skin felt really soft.

Con: It does leak at the arm where shower head screws onto the inline shower filter even when using the Teflon tape as instructed. But that’s no biggie. Love it.

There is a high amount of chlorine in the water and this filter is doing a great job of filtering it. It was so bad that I would end up with hives and itch after using the shower. No more! The instructions were simple and I was able to attach the unit within a few minutes.

The reason I did not give it a 5 star on the meets expectations bar was because I expected it to filter out other particles with the filter. Not too concerned about that as I said the chlorine is filtered out and that was the problem.

For the price and what is does, not too bad of a deal. Nice to have my hair NOT smell like chlorine for a change. The one thing that does bother me though is that the replacement filter is almost as much as the unit itself.

I believe Walmart on-line could adjust that so it would become more affordable for people to replace the filter without the angst of thinking one could just buy a whole new unit for a few bucks more.

That makes absoulutely no sense to have a replacement filter that expensive. I think the last time I checked the replacement filter was almost $12. 00. That is way too expensive. If they could make that happen, I’d give the whole unit a 5 star, you have to consider the cost of replacement filter into the whole picture though.

I bought this for my daughter who lives in Florida and was complaining about the water. She was looking for a shower system that will be good for hard water and this is what this filter is recommended for.

This filter lasts me 4-6 months and I can tell the week it stops working that I need to order another replacement filter. You screw this on to your shower head and then put the filter attached to shower head back on the pipe, it is very easy.

To replace the filter you unscrew the filter housing and take out the old and plop the new one in and screw back together. The housing comes in silver or white, and the company is based in Colorado so you can feel good about supporting a small company.

Wow, I thought I had the bases covered. I had purchased a whole-house unit for about $1,000 that leaves the minerals in the water, etc. etc. Very high-tech. Well, my water must be fairly bad because eventually that stopped working quite so well.

I had used these shower filters for years, then thought I didn’t need them anymore. I do. My hair started to feel dirty even with the whole-house filter, so I thought why not try this again to see if it helped.

It did. Immediately. My hair is back to normal. wow! I don’t care if you have another filter in the house. It seems to me that it’s still pretty imperative to have a shower filter. After all, our skin will absorb shower water each day and any impurities are taken right into our system.

But I admit that for me, it was also a cosmetic issue. The one bit of advice I have is to put Vaseline in the threads. Or olive oil. it makes getting it apart later much easier. It might leak, though, so take your time to install it properly.

I once didn’t pay attention and there was a fine, unnoticeable spray hitting the wall behind the shower head. I use a ton of the plumbers tape that comes with the filter. but it’s worth the trouble. I realized I cannot live without it, after all.

It’s made a big difference for showers and baths. I’m very happy that Dr. Eric Berg had a recommendation for this shower filter. Directions for installing the shower filter were not complete for someone who didn’t know the red inserts both needed to be removed first.

Not certain if the extra plastic is necessary (I prefer to be greener). Also, there is a slight crack atop the filter casing which occurred while ******** it into place. We used the thread tape to keep it from leaking.

If this happens on occasion, it would be great to include a warning or tip in the directions. Not sure how to open the casing when it is time to replace the filter inside. No directions on that.

I’ve tried this filter especially for my hair, and what can I say it’s the best investment I did. Before that I thought the Hair products I used were the problem and just couldn’t find the right ones.

Well, It wasn’t the hair products. Never going back and the price/quality is the best I’ve found on the market. Try it out and thank Helloklean later. Lastly a filter for the faucet would be awesome, not for drinking water but just skin purposes :).

I bought this recently and had finally got around to installing this. Prior to having this shower filter, I always knew and understood the ‘hard water’ we have in London (all the metals, chlorine, etc) so I was very eager to purchase this and really try to feel/notice the difference.

I also did a video for TikTok, and while filming I have a cup of water before and after installing and you can most definitely see the difference. I have since showered and washed my hair in this and I can honestly feel the difference.

My skin doesn’t feel dry and tight, and my hair (which is heavily bleached) feels soft and less tangled. Highy recommend this!.

I thought the reviews saying ‘it doesn’t fit our shower’ would NOT apply to me, given HelloKlean’s hefty claim that very rarely does it not fit the UK showers. Would recommend cheaper and perhaps better alternatives from other companies for more than half the price.

Don’t think HelloKlean is worth the big bucks. Low on value for money and convenience.
