20 Best Shower Brush For Back (2023 Updated)

The dry brushes that I am reviewing are from the same company that makes the one in the picture. There was not an option for ones I purchased, so this is the closest one to them to review under. I recently found these Dry Brushes for three dollars and am so glad I purchased them! I have had no issues with the bristles falling out.

I have been using each dry brush for about a week, one for before the shower and one for during. The back of each brush has a strap that makes them super easy to grip, I have not dropped either Metene Dry Brush The bristles are a little tough, even on the softer one.

So if you have very sensitive skin I wouldn’t recommend these for you. I look forward to seeing my results from dry brushing a month or two from now.

I bruise easily and my skin is sensitive. My husband is a bad diabetic so his skin breaks down easily. This brush is perfect for us. The handle is easy to hold on to and the bristles are very soft but cleans very well.

I would highly recommend it. If I had one drawback, I wish it was a little longer. Great buy.

I’m pleased with this! I wanted a long handled brush with firm bristles for a good scrub, and this is perfect. The firm side is deliciously scratchy, leaving me feeling squeaky clean, and the softer bristles on the other side are like a soothing caress.

The firm bristles make a great back scratcher, although possibly a bit harsh for sensitive skin.

The mesh fabric this is made of is very stretchy and will fit behind large framed people who can’t get a back brush around. You can ‘polish’ your skin to reduce your itchy skin problems better than any creams or lotions.

I have only tested it on my dry skin and it feels quite nice…like a back scratcher. I like that it is stretchy too. I will try it with soap and water tomorrow.

The long handle makes it easy to get hard to reach areas. The wooden handle allows you to get a good grip.

I tried several other brushes. This one is softer and well made. I will buy it again.

I’ll start of by saying I love the length of this. It’s great and I can get my whole back. It feels great when I’m washing too. But if you are looking for that deep cleaning, this wont be the product for you.

The bristles are very soft. It’s great for everyday cleaning, but if you want a deep scrub, then I would say get a strong loofah or something.

This back brush has a good sturdy handle. The scrubbing head is made of decent bristles and works well in the shower. The brush head is a little small, but it works ok.

I bought this shower bath brush for my hubby who has extremely sensitive acne prone skin. I loved that this has helped him reduce his body acne flare ups a great deal. This brush helps him to reach spots on his back that he normally cannot reach on his own.

You only need to use a little big of body wash scrub away. Only thing is you have to be careful not to scrub too hard on your skin.

I love to use this when washing and exfoliating my skin. It was effective, however, not to use everyday. Your skin must still create oils for itself. I have used it for a few years. I recommend it to others and I would continue using it! It’s super adorable too.

i have extremely sensitive skin with rosacea so this was a little too harsh for me. It definitely exfoliates extremely well and works great! But Unfortunately it wasn’t the best choice for my skin type.

Even when lightly using it, my skin was still bright red for hours when I got out of the shower.

I love this Aquis Exfoliating Back Scrubber. The exfoliating straps improves my overall skin tone as removes impurities and loose skin. Its really easy to use as flexible and the exfoliate strap is on both ends which is great! Its also really perfect for me as I wear fake tan which is hard to remove by myself!.

I have been getting spottier shoulders and back recently and I think it’s because I am starting to go to the gym a bit more! Every time I go gym I use this in the shower after (it’s not too harsh which is nice) and I feel like it has already made a slight improvement at removing the excess oils etc.

I will keep using :).

I could never get to those hard to reach areas on my back, until I got this! I use it to get any excess tan off my back and it also exfoliates any dead skin cells which reduces the amount of spots I get on my back.

The stretch wash cloth is a long, stretchy, exfoliating cloth with handles to help you get to all of those hard to reach places, or you can fold it into thirds and use everywhere else. It’s quite gentle, but effective at keeping skin smooth.

The large handles not only make it easy to use and to hang up, but it makes this a great alternative to a traditional loofah for someone like me with rheumatoid arthritis. You are supposed to store this in the bag when you’re done, but that is nasty and causes mold, so I definitely recommend hanging it up by the handle instead.

The tag has lettering on it that when it fades, let’s you know that it’s time to replace. I didn’t open this up to take pictures because I’m not ready to use it yet and I want it to stay sealed- just fyi.

I recommend this to anyone that needs help getting to hard to reach places on the back and shoulders and or has trouble with joint pain. .

I loved how the Daily Concepts back scrubber worked. That being said, I followed their instructions precisely for storing it in the plastic bag it came in. Three days later, I started smelling a strong, unpleasant odor coming from my bathtub.

Holy cow! It had mildewed to the point where I had to throw it out. I sent an email to Daily Concepts (no response to date) and to FabFitFun, where I had purchased it. They are sending me a replacement.

This time I will NOT store it in the bag, but will hang it from a hook in my bathtub.

This scrubber allows you to reach every corner of your back and can even be used all over. If used properly, your body wash will foam up on this and allow for a clean but gentle scrub. My skin dries out when scrubbed but this is gentle enough.

You could certainly use more pressure to get a deeper scrub. Only con is the material stitched around the handles is not too thick so it does feel like if you pulled too hard on the rope handles, it could fall apart.

Over the years I have tried all sorts of things to clean my showers and bathtubs. I have used sponges, but they don’t scrub enough, brushes that tend to scrub but don’t remove everything, and even specialty sponges that have texture but all the soap build up gets imbedded into them.

The Scotch-Brite handheld scrubber is the answer. The scrubber material has the correct texture to scrub off the soap residue without scratching the surface of either my fiberglass tub or my tile shower.

The surface of the scrubber is thick enough that on my tiled surfaces its scrubs the tiles and grouted areas in the same stroke. Its flexible enough to clean around the curved parts of the bathtub and stay flat for the scrubbing the walls.

I hate cleaning my bathroom and i hate trying to remove all those goodies in the tub/ shower especially. I have been using this bath scrubber the past few times and i find it to be working very well.

It makes it pretty easy to scrub off al that soap scum in my shower with a little light weight scrubbing, I do use it in my sink as well but its a little more difficult to use in there because of the shape of the scrubbing pad.

Other then that the areas i do clean on it look really good. I really like that it is a light weight and it is really easy to hold onto the plastic handle. It does have a midsize scrubbing pad attached and the pad really holds it shape very well.

It doesn’t have a very rough texture to it but it is recommended to test it first on a small area. Over all its a great product for the bathroom. I recommend this scrubber.

This scrubber is amazing. It cleans so well without having to scrub endlessly for hours. I love this scrubber! It is extremely effective at getting the job done and getting those tough water stain out.

It lets me finish the cleaning in less time and without all the hassle. It has worked wonders for the bathtub for me. It effectively gets all the dirt and grime without any effort. It makes the tile clean and sparkly again.

I think this is one of the most underrated products that exists and it’s almost life changing in a way. it’s called “The Wet Brush” is used to detangle your hair regardless if it is wet or dry. Like many, many other people I have experienced severe bouts of depression from PTSD other underlying mental conditions, unfortunately, that led to me going days without washing my hair (which was verrry long at the time) or even touching it for that matter.

I would mainly throw it up in a bun leave it which led to terrible knots tangles. those of you who have also experienced manic depression/clinical depression will know EXACTLY what I am referring to (if you or someone you know is needing help please for the love of everything you find holy.

These brushes have saved my hair numerous times because without it I would’ve had to end up cutting many of the tangles out that I like I had previously done prior to getting stabilized on my medication.

If you hair is locked though this brush isn’t going to touch it, but, out of all the detangling brushes available these are one of the absolute best brushes that are available. I just recently purchased the Limited Edition brushes that are a collab between Wet Brush Disney with the Disney Princesses (I didn’t see the exact match so figured I would add them to the original).

These are hands down the most beautiful brushes I have seen as far as the design. They looked very cute online, but, the pictures really do not do them justice as it’s another level of cute when they arrive.

Each one feels as though it is made from actual wood hand painted as you can feel the texture of the lines. Whoever designed these did an amazing job. The rubberized handle allows for a nice fitted grip that isn’t uncomfortable after brushing your hair for a long time and the Intelliflex bristles used in the brushes are strong flexible while not causing any damage.

These can be used on wigs extensions, both real synthetic options. If you have any children that may not be a big fan of brushing their hair (I think we have all had that child as some point) or their hair gets tangled easily then you should give the WetBrush a try.

I LOVE these brushes. They’re so good for tangly hair. My mom loves them so much that she went to CosmoProf and bought like 12 of them for the four of us. I can’t tell from the picture if I’m reviewing the hard plastic one or the silicone-coated one, but I prefer the hard plastic shell.

The silicone one has a weird texture that makes me cringe when I feel it on my fingertips, but that’s subjective and may not bother other people. The only downside that IS universal is that the handles are pretty fragile.

If you accidentally knock it off the counter onto a tile floor, the handle snaps right off. It’s happened to me twice. The silicone-coated one might actually be better for you if you’re clumsy or have kids running around because of the shock absorption (I’ve only broken the handles on the plastic ones).

Anyway, I recommend these!.

First of all I was looking for the actual design of the original Wet brush that I have. (which is the Disney Princess collection- Ariel). At first I wasn’t sure about the brush because I was used to using a brush with hard bristles that really dug into the knots and got them out.

This brush was the complete opposite and it took me some time to get used to it. Now that I have been using for 2 years I won’t go back. I realized the hard bristles were more damaging to my hair and wouldn’t detangle but instead it would rip through the knots.

I love that the wet brush brand has the different limited editions and collections because that makes it fun to pick out a new brush! Also I recommend this product for little girls because it is a soft brush and won’t cause any tears over hard to get out knots! I will continue to purchase.

So I initially bought this to use on my tub however it ended up coming in handy for way more than just cleaning my tub. Some nail polish spilled on the driveway and with some rubbing alcohol and this little thing it came up surprisingly easily.

Did the same thing with some oil I spilled on the driveway. The bristles are so durable it made getting those messes up soooo much easier. (I didn’t mean for this to sound like an ad but this thing is awesome).

This is much smaller than expected. It isn’t wide enough and I wish the pictures showed that. I was expecting a full size brush. This is right in length but not with. The handle is fine but because the brush isn’t wide it’s not very stable or easy to hold so as you’re using it, the brush falls side to side.

Just a bad design. Please update photos so people know what they’re getting.

Love this dual bristle type brush. The harder ones are nice when you want a brisk scrubbing effect, while the softer ones give a ince rubbing feel. The little rubber insets in the handle give it a good solid grip, especially when wet.

The brush also doubles as an effective back scratcher when needed. As I said in the title: I Love It.

I love to used this product, it reaches my back nicely. It is lightweight, and I love the color. The brush itself, is a nice bristle firmness, not too stiff, not too soft. In my opinion, a good all around bath/shower brush.

The item states “longhandled” but it’s is not very long handled. Yes, it does have a long handle, but in comparing with another back brush I had, this one is very short.

I love the size, feel and texture of this sisal brush – however on one of the items, the rope holding everything together is already coming unraveled after very minimal use, which is disappointing. Hard to tell if they will last a decent amount of time.

I’ve been using this brush for the past month. It is great for removing dead skin cells and increasing blood flow/circulation. It may feel too rough at first if you have sensitive skin but after a few uses you get used to it.

However, after only a few uses in the shower it developed an odor and I had to throw it out. I think of you used it just for a dry brush it would be great because it feels really good.

I do love these. I was reading an article about dry brushing and thought I would consider giving it a try. It is not the first time I have heard of it. I have even tried it a couple of times over the years, although I had not made the commitment to be consistent.

So, after reading a few more articles and viewing a video, I thought I would look into buying a brush specifically for that function. After a search on Amazon, I chose this brush. Actually I chose to buy a set of 2.

These brushes are soft enough that they do not scratch my skin. It also feels more productive to me to have one on each hand. I would recommend these to anyone interested in dry brushing. The bristles are soft and flexible and do not leave scratches.

I bought this brush to scrub my feet and legs in the shower as it has stiffer bristles. So far I am very impressed with low cost and superb durability of this item. I saw some other reviews regarding loose bristles but I couldn’t pull any out and was actually trying to.

There’s a few loose bristles from production but that’s all I could find. You can’t beat it for the price, great purchase.

I personally really enjoy using this product. I picked it up on a whim when searching for a body exfoliator at Ulta. It was very affordable, and judging by some reviews exactly what I was looking for.

I use this before every shower, starting with the tops of my feet, making upwards brushing strokes, all the way up my whole entire body. It takes about 30-45 minutes to complete depending on how quickly I do it and how much time I have.

I do find it quite hard to get my whole back, so if you have a partner I’d pick up one for them as well trying to get them into it to do each others backs lol I think it feels really good, like the best scratch ever but I did see other reviews from people saying it was painful and felt like it was cutting them or ripping their skin off.

I don’t know if maybe they have super sensitive skin and that’s why it was painful for them, but that has not been my experience at all. It is more scratchy than the kind of body brush you’d use in the shower, and the bristles are much longer as well.

When using I don’t push down with any amount of pressure, just light sweeping motions. I have really dry skin due to hard water, so I do tend to be itchy and go through a lot of lotion and body oil as well.

Even though I use this prior to my shower I still use a body brush in the shower on my whole body, especially before shaving, then using an exfoliating loofah (which IMO doesn’t feel exfoliating) it really helps get rid of all the dry skin and dead skin cells, but bcuz of the hard water I can’t go without moisturizing as soon as I’m out of the shower.

This particular dry brush has a handcrafted bamboo handle, is 100% vegan with synthetic bristles, and therefore creutly free. The bristles are soft enough to not harm the skin but tough enough to exfoliate the skin well.

It also has a comfortable handle that stretches for gripping needs. Here are some tips for how I personally like to use my dry brush. Start at the bottom of the feet on the soles, using long upward strokes and a medium pressure.

Then continue on to the tops of feet and the legs with same long, upward strokes. Always brush upward towards the heart. Never downwards. Continue onto the thigh and buttock and bikini area, and then mid section, sides, and back.

Brush one side of palms and extend up the arm all the way, then do the same to the other side of hand and arm. Dont forget back of shoulders and neck. The delicate neck and chest area can also be dry brushed, but with much lighter pressure, as this is a much more sensitive area with thinner skin.

This entire process, in my opinion, is best done nude, preferably before showering. Afterwards, I shower, exfoliate in shower, wash, and follow up with a good moisturizer! Alternatively, the dry brush can be used wet with an oil of your choice.

After use, hang up to air dry. Also, remember to periodically clean your dry brush to keep sanitary.

This brush is so stiff you could clean your bathtub with it. I’ve done dry brushing for lymphatic health before. It’s wonderful with a soft brush. This is junk. Not only is it WAY too harsh for skin, the round shape and elastic band are not ergonomic.

Buy a soft brush at your grocery store…it will be a better experience.

Dry brush only, when trying to use it in my shower or bath the bristles and rubber nodes felt too harsh and would hurt. Can really only stand to dry brush parts of my legs and arms, way too harsh for other thinner skined areas like chest, neck, under arms, or belly.

The strap design doesn’t really fit my hand well either and the tension from use is starting to loosen up the glue holding it in place.

Such a fab body brush! I use 2/3 times a week and i’m obsessed. I can really tell a difference on my legs already they’re looking more toned and supple after a few weeks of using, especially after I use the smooth move body cream afterwards.

My chiropractor advised that I start dry brushing my skin to help with circulation, and I am so pleased with this brush. I’ve been using it for several months now and will continue for the rest of my life (I’m over 70 – wished I’d know about Pursoma when I was younger, oh well).

I really like the gentle stimulation of this brush, and yet it exfoliates really well. To my surprise, I no longer have dry skin buildup on the bottoms and sides of my feet and heels, which was always a problem.

Love the product, ordered it on thrive marketplace but there were no care instructions for the brush on the packaging or in the box. Read another article on dry brushing and they recommended rinsing it once a week to keep clean and I just read the directions on this website saying to never get it wet.

😅 first time using it too, hope it’s not ruined. But would be a great idea to leave care instructions in the box because it’s an important factor. It’s great otherwise!.

If you are new to dry brushing, this is a perfect starter. It’s softer than most. But if you use daily, eventually your skin will get used to it and you will want to use something harder. Still, I do use in more sensitive places like under arms and stomach.
