20 Best Short Human Hair Wigs (2023 Updated)

I have always loved this short cut, but after turning 65 this year, I decided to order the color 280 instead of 1B/30 or 1B/33. I love this color, and it looks so natural on me. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

The wig is cute, and I like how it fits very close to my head, which is more natural-looking than others I have that are very poofy. However, I am very disappointed in the bangs. They look as though someone had already had the wig and cut them.

badly. There are shorter spots behind the longer points of the style that just make no sense, and make it almost impossible to get it to look good. I’m trying to decide if I should try another one to compare, but I really don’t want to spend the money.

And I’m nervous about trying to cut the front myself to try to fix it. At least it wasn’t an expensive wig.

I must admit, I was skeptical buying this wig; I felt it was either going to be just what I was looking for or just plain terrible and frumpy. It took much longer than I had hoped to show up, Priority Shipping does not apply until they finally actually ship the wig (a week after ordering), so the wait was rather frustrating.

However, I bought another pixie wig while I awaited the arrival of Molly, I like both, but this was in my favorite. I’m considering buying 1 or 2 more, possibly in different colors. This wig is great, it’s a very cute short cut.

This is my favorite wig and style. I have noticed that the color charts for this particular style is always changing and is not consistent from company to company. I have learned to adapt since this wig and style has always been one I can rely on.

I never have to trim it before wearing and I always have extras on hand for emergency purposes. Please keep enough in stock. Thank You!.

I have a short neck and I have looked at wigs ordered what I always thought was my dream wig I have been wearing wigs for 32 years the nape of 3 inches looked perfect on the model but awful on me and also going with a super short nape was even worse I finally found Ryder it is awesome.

So if you have a nape problem try Ryder its a shattered bob with lots of movement and looks so natural.

I love Ryder’s lace front, low density and low perma tease look. She is perfect for everyday, wears well and holds up in wind. If low density and low perma tease is your thing you can’t go wrong with Ryder.

tight and small, uncomfortable for an average size head, and even tho it says “Pre-bumped in a Variety of Classic Styles” it looks like hair that met better days in the past. the back side of the wig has almost no hair and the color is solid not DR27.

at least it s cheap enough not to cry for the waste of it, that much. haircut has nothing to do with mohawk.

Normally everything I get it elevate styles is absolutely wonderful. This particular wig it’s supposed to be Brazilian but even when I got it it didn’t feel that soft at all and it felt like it got tangled quickly and it started to shed.

I wore it about a week and I’m just not crazy about this wig. I still think this is an awesome company and I will order from here until the company goes out of business. This particular wig Justin wasn’t for me I didn’t particularly like the part how it look on my head.

The hair kept getting in my face a lot and it just didn’t feel like a HH for Brazilian Remy. And when I looked at it like the second day it look like I had already had it for a couple of weeks just not pleased with this one at.

Not sure if I like this wig or not yet. 1- It had a terrible smell when I opened it. 2- It shed chunks of of hair. 3- It had lint balls in the hair (at first, I thought they were bugs, upon closer examination it looked like lint clinging to the hair).

4- I washed and rinsed the hair 4 times in a row, because the water kept turning brown (not sure if it was coloring from the hair or if the hair was dirty). 5- It also had several gray hairs. I will update after I try it on and try to style it.

I’m apprehensive and disappointed. I was looking forward to trying a human hair wig.

Feels soft and very natural. Scared me at first with the shedding but that was only a little bit on day one. In a few days I washed and conditioned and it feels great and curls snapped back. The OK only thing that prevented me from giving 5 stars there were quiet of bit of miscolored strands I had to pluck out which without you doing that will make it scream WIG OVER HERE.

But God buy for the money and its hot weather friendly. Also if u got skills with a razor u can make it a hot Bob! Buy it.

I was sent the wrong color. I tried to return the wig, and they sent it back telling me I couldn’t get a refund. No one never said why I couldn’t get a refund, so now I’m stuck with an ugly wig I don’t need.

Oh My Goodness. This hair is a Must Have!!! I had never ordered short hair before, however when I seen this one, it was so pretty and different from what I would usually wear, I had to have it. When it arrived and tried it on.

I was IN LOVE! It”s edgy, sexy and fits perfectly. Thank you for the sale Sams Beauty!!! If it hadn”t been on sale, I would have overlooked it. I got sooooo many compliments when I wore it out. I ordered this unit in Autumn, I will definitely be ordering more in different colors.

I Looove this wig it can be worn everyday comfortably. WIg can be worn fresh out the package. I also restyled the wig and added curls all over to give it a different style and still a beauty. Others compliment me on how beautoful my hair looks and are amazed when the following day i have on a different wig as everyone thinks its my real hair.

I’ve been a car hobbyist for years. I’ve struggled for years fitting body panels. All I can say is that this is fantastic,!

As soon as I got it I tried it out and it cut great and went through the metal fast with no distortion or hesitation,It is a quality tool ,the only draw back is it’s a little on the heavy side but I can live with that.

I would recommend it.

My overall experience was great. I received my package within a couple of days. I have long natural hair and usually purchase wigs with some length, but thought I would try something different this time, and I LOVE IT!! I do plan to purchase more in different colors.

I didn’t purchase my Tiny unit from here, but I will share my review on this page/site. This unit have been around for a while and I have purchased it several times. This is an easy to style and wear unit.

The hair is very soft. I brushed my unit out to get a soft natural Afro. I sprayed it with some wig spay and styled it to fit my face. Just sharing this if it will help anyone that wants to try this unit.

This wig looks nothing like the picture! The wig is sparse, frizzy and the curls are not well defined. There are no neat rows of shiny curls, in fact there are no rows at all! Just random, uneven coils that makes for a thin, dull little afro ! You can actually see the spaces between the curls ! Then the wig is very small, and misshapen.

It is very thin at the top, and flat everywhere else. So you will look like you are balding and too defeated with life to even comb your hair!! Generally it looks nothing like human hair. I tried to fluff it, shake it and pat it down but no matter what I do, it still looks like a poorly made birds nest.

I called and emailed for a refund (because in addition to paying a stocking and shipping fee, you must contact them first for a refund) but have not heard back from them. Poor customer service and pathetic product.

This is daylight robbery, stay the **** away from this site!!.

I have bought a lot of wigs and I must say that this is my favorite. I ordered the “Natural” color which is the natural, untreated color ofnthe donor. The hair is AWESOME. It’s velvety soft and have a nice natural wave.

You can make it straighter or curlier. The hair has gorgeous auburn highlights and the color is dark brown. It looks very real just like a healthy head of hair. You don’t have to fuss with it-just wash and dry.

I wear this pretty wig every day. The cap is comfy and stretchy. I have a 22″ head and it fits me fine. It is so light weight that I hardly know it’s on. I don’t understand why there are not more reviews.

This unit is a keeper and when this one wears out, I will buying another!.

The outer box is very appealing which for me makes it even more exciting to open. The hair smells like plastic but thats easily rectified by exposure to the air. I give it a shake adjust the elastic tension and secure it over my wig cap.

It looks great, more curly than wavy though which is ok. Shipping was timely. This wig can do no wrong. I highly recommend.

I would have given it a 5. The reason I didn’t was because the cap was too small on my medium to large head. I ordered two. One in Natural and the other was color 1. The color #1 was larger and the one that I prefer.

To its credit, the hair on this unit is absolutely gorgeous. It feels like velvet, has a healthy shine, and it is just the right thickness. If you have a smaller head, you will really enjoy this beautiful wig.

I bought this wig in August 2019 and I have been wearing it on and off (average 1x every 2 weeks). In the beginning of December, I decided to make it my work wig and I wear it every day. I wear it curly, I’ve washed it and rod set it and now I am wearing it straight.

I gave it 4 stars because even though this wig is great – it does have a tendency to knot up in the back towards the middle (the under side) :-(. It’s great hair everywhere except for there. I have to brush regularly so it doesn’t get too bad.

Otherwise, it’s great! The color is a real natural black, the deep lace parting is great and believable and it has a lace all across the front with combs! All I had to do was trim the lace and apply my color makeup to the inside of the part and I was good to go.

My friends thought I got a weave with a closure. I am definitely ordering again!.

Initially, I wasnt sure how this wig would look on me, but once I cut the lace to my liking and dampened the hair with a little water, in my opinion, this wig is gorgeous. Also, it is very soft to the touch, and it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing a wig.

I will definitely purchase this wig again, and I highly recommend it.

Very nice wig I have it in the natural color it’s more of a off black color. I wanted it a little lighter tried to dye it but it did not take It did bounce back really good after the process I might bleach it later overall I’m very satisfied with.

Very, very thin !! The color was fine. The last two strips of binding at the bottom of the wig, digs into my neck ? Maybe not a good fit. Tried to pull adjustments in back, that felt even worse. The style was cute !.

I like it but a little off what I expected. It’s to big and I adjusted it as far as it will go but still to big for my small head. The color isn’t what I wanted but I had to get what they had left. I do recommend you to buy it, if I had the right color I would be well satisfied.

Once I worked on the wig and added my touch I loved it. Definitely getting it straight out of the package I was nervous. But I would definitely recommend this wig.

Good: Fast and easy to use it. Bad: Useless for cutting roofing metal with ribs.

Its was priced at a great price and the electric metal shear are going to trim some V crimp metal sheets so they fit into place.

After washing it in conditioner the waves return 🙂. It’s a very natural length and look. I’ve received compliments.

I bought Heard It All in Golden Walnut R1125 and I love the color and highlights (R11S+ Glazed Mocha, my favorite, wasn’t available in this style). Raquel Welch needs to do some quality control as the last 2 Raquel Welch wigs I bought (Winner was the last wig I bought) also had many manufacturing defects and also is a nightmare to style.

If you watch Jill Lynn’s review of Heard It All on YouTube, she experienced the same mess I have experienced with this wig. My wig had 2 ends of stiff pieces sticking out of the back of the wig in different spots with hair hanging to them.

Stray hairs stick out all over the wig and refuse to lay down even after spraying with conditioner, water and hair spray smoothing them down. The lace front hair is too thin giving it a wig appearance.

The hair at the mono part looks like there is some missing rows of hair to the right of the part making it look too thin when you part it (I have tried parting it several ways to try to get a natural look).

There are sections on the right top of the mono part that aren’t equal in the thickness of hair and it doesn’t lay even across the top of my head (makes it look bumpy). The big thing is, the cap is smaller than the usual Raquel Welch average size and is really snug on my head.

The wig is pretty but has so many defects to make it enjoyable to wear. I’m still trying to work with it to make it look good and natural on me.

This wig is just what I was looking for! I have Jon Renau Kristen and Kristi wigs (midnight Cocoa) and I love both. But truth be told they are a bit warm for me in the summertime due to the length and density.

I looked for a shorter option and after reading and watching reviews of Raquel Welch real deal I decided to try this one out. I am so happy with this wig and also the color iced Java which goes perfectly with my skin tone and looks like a version of the color of hair I had when I was younger.

This wig is lightweight, cool, just the right length for summer. The fibers are so silky and soft! The cap is very very comfortable and I could easily wear this for hours, even on a plane trip. If you are looking for a cute, trendy, short but not too short, comfortable wig, try this one out! This wig inspired me to order another Raquel Welch wig, let’s rendezvous in iced Java also.

Just like the reviews say, Raquel Welch wigs seem to be superior as far as cap comfort, lace front, and soft and silky fibers. That is not to take anything away from my Jon Renau wigs because I love them too!.

My natural hair is greying slowly so I wanted a wig that closely matched my natural color as well as the grey. I ordered this wig with 85% dark brown and 15% grey. I received it and it looks 85% grey and 15% dark brown.

The color was definitely off. it is so grey you can barely see the brown. I am very disappointed. It is not what I expected plus as others have stated it is stiff. I just thought once washed it might be okay but I am not keeping it.

I am exchanging for a synthetic wig and the color is 3T280 which is suppose to consist of dark brown tipped with off black and 10% grey. I am hoping the synthetic won’t be as stiff.

You sent me the same wig before I ordered this one and it was solid black. Can It be returned. I don’t wear solid black wigs. I assumed it was the right color and did not open the package until recent and figured it was too late to return.

What can you do about it?!.

I bought two of these wigs and both of them didn’t last as long as other wigs I’ve bought before, the hair falls out without reason, Almost as if it wasn’t tied well to begin with. I love how it looks on me but don’t like going bald all over again.

I use good shampoo and conditioner and I tried washing once a week- once every two weeks for fear it will lose even more hair. My brush is full of hair when I brush it and the hair is straight as if it were never tied, it really makes me question if I should buy here or this kind again despite it looking great in the beginning ( about the first month or two and it starts showing signs of substantial hair loss).

Wigpro Alexandra had uneven hair dispersement. It was quite obvious that the left crown & side was much lighter on design compared to the right side. My family members stated that they could see my scalp.

I was disappointed to say the least & embarrassed.

I wore this wig from October 2015 through May 2016 on a full-time basis. I wrote a review and wanted to update it. I replaced this wig with another one exactly like it as I like it. I received a full 8 months of wear from the wig.

I replaced it as the mono top had lost enough hair that I needed to do comb-overs in some areas. Otherwise there was no hair loss on the back and sides. I believe the hair loss in the mono top may have been partially caused by using heat roller claw holders and securing them too tightly.

I will find out on the new one as I do not use the claw holders anymore on top. I just let gravity hold the rollers in place and not too tightly. I ordered color 131/30 which is a beautiful auburn. The color as with any red fades fast and I had to dye the wig about every 2 1/2 to 3 months.

I did it myself with color from Sallys beauty supply – Ion Color Brilliance Liquid – 2 oz of 8G-8. 3 Light Golden Blonde 1/2 oz. of 8RC-8. 4 light copper blonde mixed with 2 1/2 ounces of sensitive scalp 20 developer – I let it process 40 minutes then rinsed washed and conditioned.

It comes out as close as I could get to the original color. I use Its a 10 Miracle Shampoo and the mask when I wash it. After it air dries a bit spray it with Jon Renau Argan Smooth Treatment Mist. I have not tried Jon Renau shampoo and conditioner as yet.

I use the Its a 10 Miracle products on my own hair so it is at hand. I use the Argan Treatment Mist pretty much daily in small amounts.
