20 Best Shooting Glasses For Trap (2023 Updated)

Looks like a good value for safety glasses. My only disappointment is the description versus the actual product. The “Indoor/Outdoor Mirror” description, though accurate, I thought, was a stretch. I expected a true mirror surface to present outdoors when, in fact, it presents as a very minimal mirror-ish tint.

Great glasses for the range. Reasonable. Great visibility

Bought these a couple of years ago and never really used them. They feel ok and the comfort is fair. However if you wear them the lenses shimmer and are distracting. I guess for $7 they do their job but I’d recommend spending some extra dollars and get something proper.

I bought a pair of the Beretta shooting glasses for teaching my girlfriend gun safety while visiting with my parents. The frames are comfortable, and accommodate different face sizes. Only downside is only one lens comes per order.

I purchased the clear, for all around in-door use, and the blue smoke for outdoors. Each pair came with a nice soft cinch bag Beretta logo carrying case.

Having so many choices of lens colors makes these Beretta shooting glasses perfect for any background conditions. I have a red and a lavender colored pair which gives excellent visibility in most of the shooting conditions I experience.

At such a reasonable price having multiple pairs is not going to break the bank. Being so durable and coming with a carry case makes them an excellent value.

The nose piece is very narrow and not adjustable. If you have a wider nose, the glasses ride very high on your face. At the same time, the glasses are very wide. If you have a skinny nose and a wide face, they will fit perfectly.

I have worn these glasses for over ten years (not the same pair) and are the MOST comfortable I have ever owned. Once you own a a pair of polarized sun glasses you will appreciate them. They arms adjust lengthwise and the lens adjust fore and aft so you can make them hug your face when in bright sunlight which is really nice.

You can afust them to hug your cheeks so no light comes up from under the bottom of the lens. They are lightweight not heavy. They work really well on the water. The nose peice is built into the frame so you NEVER have to adjust it, its soft and comfortable not like adjustable nose peices where you feel them resting on your nose when out of adjustment.

The lens are removable but don’t pop out unless forced. The arms are contoured so they rest behind your ears so as you bindover and turn your head the stay put, and as I said earlier the glasses are lightweight and when adjusted to fit snugly they don’t slid back and forth.

Conclusion: for the price you cannot feel disappointed.

These are my all time favourite sunglasses. I’m a sailor and spend a lot of summer hours on the water; also do a bit of shop work (wood and metal) so they double as safety glasses. These polarised glasses give good visibility into the water; they are light and very comfortable; they stay on during vigorous activity; the wraparound lens gives protection from side lighting; and best of all, they are very affordable! I keep a box of about 10 pair around at all times.

They get wrecked eventually from bottom paint (in the boat yard) or dings from flying scraps at the table saw or chop saw; they get dropped in sand and scratched; now and then one gets away from me and goes overboard.

But the price is so reasonable that this attrition rate is acceptable. These are a GREAT value and a GREAT product.

I purchased several pairs of these for our youth shooting program. They seemed perfect, however a very disappointing feature emerged. I loaned three pairs of these to workers doing plumbing soldering around my house.

All three pairs were missing the nose pads when returned. I don’t suspect the workers of any mischief; what use are nose pads without the eye protection? I contacted the manufacturer for replacements and they are not available!?!? Very disappointed to hear this.

The perfect eye protection just became recycling items; these are very uncomfortable without the nose pads.

I wear these glasses all day at work. They work well. My only complaint is that the nose pieces are not permanently attached. They fall off if you’re not careful. I will probably add some crazy glue to them.

Amazingly good value. Eye protection can never be understated. Even when just hiking, the last thing you want is a branch in the eye. I bought all three variants and now I can test easy knowing my eyes will be safe.

Will made, light and comfortable, I highly recommend these.

I was looking for reasonably priced safety glasses to wear while playing pickleball. Most of the “Pickleball” safety glasses or “Raquetball” safety glasses are priced more than I want to pay (anywhere from $18-$25).

I found the Walker Shooting glasses were a viable alternative at $9. 99 at Dick’s. These glasses are made to the same specifications as the “Pickleball or Raquetball glasses, so why pay more? The Walker’s do not fog up; fit very comfortably, offer full eye proection and do not fall off while running around the pickleball court.

Save yourself some money and buy the Walker Shooting glasses for pickleball. They are great!.

These are excellent shooting glasses, especially for the very reasonable price. The lenses are large and wide for maximum eye protection and are of good quality, providing a clear, non-distorted target picture.

There is no top frame, for an unfettered view, and the fit is nice and snug with no movement on the face. All in all a top quality, but inexpensive, product.

Like the title says, I feel fit/finish and overall quality is good for the price. Only negative for people with smaller/more narrow faces is that your face will be swallowed up in these glasses. They are MUCH larger than they appear in pictures.

While I can certainly make them work I feel the size quite frankly will look ridiculous on most people.

For being pretty inexpensive they are very sturdy. The lenses are clear and not having any eel frame made shooting a lot more enjoyable. Time will tell about their durability but so far so good. Highly recommended.

I’ve been wanting to order a pair of RE Rangers. But I have this unique ability to scratch lenses in record time. Instead of destroying a $200 pair of glasses, I ordered these. Nice pair of glasses for the price.

I’ve had several pairs of Beretta glasses and struggled with fogging. These are 80% better. Bought the yellow and the pink. The biggest downside is pink is deep Red and not pink. Takes some getting used to.

Very good optically, little to no distortion in the periphery. The only reason I have it 4 stars instead of 5 is the temple connection seems a little frail. Time will tell on the durability, but for less than $20 delivered you can afford to have a few.

I do intend to buy another pair. The vermilion color really works for me.

Purchased for flat light driving glasses. So far they perform as hoped.

I got these for backyard shooting, they enhance colours well. The arms/ pivot point is a little sketchy tho but for 9.99 dont expect insane quality.

These are lightweight, comfortable, and they will be versatile. I had been looking for sunglasses and was surprised and at first disappointed by the lack of tint when they arrived, but realized they gentle darkening will make it so they’ll be functional in low light, too.

Taking them outside into the full sun, a quick on/off comparison confirmed they “take the edge off” of the glaring sun and allow the eyes to relax, without hindering the ability to see. Pretty cool. They’re slightly mirrored near the middle and clearer on the peripheral vision, which is not bad looking, either.

Last, I have a small/narrow face and these actually fit.

Great for a hazy day. These are not the vermillion color that highlights clays, but they do bring out color on an overcast day of shooting. A bit flimsy but for this price they are just about disposable.

These glasses do a great job of keeping my eyes protected during outdoor activities. They are affordable and adjustable for easy storage

Oh my gosh, These safety glasses were perfect for over my reading glasses as they fit to a tee. I work in a hospital where we are using extra precautions for Covid as wearing an N95 mask and googles but I needed googles that fit over my reading glasses and they did and the price was I paid was low budget.

These are big and fit over glasses just fine. The problem is that if you have a smaller head these are likely not going to work for you. I bought these for my wife and they were too big for her. I will keep them as they fit over my sunglasses well and provide the additional protection that is needed.

I have the newer large framed glasses, and worried that I would not be able to find a pair of overglasses for shooting to protect my eyes and my new glasses. My older slim glasses overglasses did not work, simply too small, plus very uncomfortable temple pieces.

Excellent shooting glasses!! Didn’t want to cheap out on eyeware but also didn’t want to spend crazy money on Pilla. Orange lens is perfect for clays. Really helps me focus on the target in ALL light conditions.

This are great glasses as it helps see the clay targets on cloudy days. Second time out with the glasses shot a 50 straight! Clays just seem to glow with the purple lenses.

We love these glasses. My 14yr old daughter wears them and I wear the purple lenses (female adult). They fit our face well, dont slide down and give us a clear field of view across the peripheral. Great price point quality.

I bought these for target practice. They’re very light and comfortable even for my wide head. Be aware: They don’t fit over glasses. I can’t be sure the plastic lens won’t scratch over time. But so far so good.

The earpieces don’t fold. Suits my needs very well.

I have two of these (grey and clear), both works great and very comfortable for wearing hours at the range (outdoor). I use my clear glasses for indoor because gray lenses are too dark for indoor. Quality product, flexible, lightweight and a bargain.

When I ordered my glasses I was expecting the gray pair seeing as they look more stylish. But on the contrary I received a clear flimsy pair. I’m not happy with these glasses at all. I’ll probably end up giving them to a family member of mine that can use them more than I will.

I drive a charter bus. i’m pretty serious about my visibility. let me list what you get for 9 or 10 bucks with these. Polarized: drive into the glare after rain, the low morning sun, the glint of other windshields, no prob.

Smoke color: just right for passing thru a tunnel, not too dark, eyes not tired from the glasses after a long day in snow-world. Wraparound: gives you excellent peripheral vision, keeps the dust and flying stuff from nailing you.

High Bows: out of the way for great peripheral vision, never break, back and forth from on my head to on my nose, hinge and plastic just keep right on going. Optically Correct: so many kids wearing neon oversized cheap sunglasses or ‘Italian’ sunglasses for ‘looks’, they don’t even consider the distortion they are hobbled with.

Comfortable: so light and you don’t even feel the rubber nosepiece. Ballistic: if a small rock or some sand from a truck hits you, you are still rollin’. After a couple years I can tell they are getting a few micro scratches from my t-shirt or whatever beach towel I cleaned them with.

Put on a new pair and BLAM! IT’S LIKE EXPENSIVE GLASS. AWESOME. believe me, I DID my research on hundreds of pairs. oh, and don’t worry about looking cool, you will.

For $20 they’re really nice. If you have a big head you probably won’t like them. If your shooting something with any kick, DON’T buy them. The frames are hard plastic and feel as though they could break easily.

I bought them to target shoot with a. 22 and they seem perfect for that. Very happy for the money and did not feel the need to spend $80+.

I supposed to listen more experience people and not to buy cheap allegedly shoting glasses. On purpose they are useless, now turned out stingy pays twice. I have to buy another pair of really good quality an expensive shoting glasses.

When wearing this shoting glasses I have a kind of nausea filling, like you wear wrong size prescription glasses.

The idea of these glasses is pretty cool but it probably makes sense just to have two or three ready-made glasses ready to go in your favorite color. the nose bridge that Clips the shades in place is a little delicate and it can break off rendering the whole set useless.

it is definitely more compact than carrying around seven pairs of glasses if that is important to you. They are a very nice design.

They were delivered with clear lenses. I’ve not opened them, deciding if it’s worth sending them back or using them as clear – which I do use sometimes.

They were purchased initially for hunting. They now serve as daily eye protection for use on bright sunny days. The protection is excellent. The anti glare is truly incredible. I now have two pair. Economically incredible.

At its price point, you cant go wrong. Just dont abuse it. After using it, put it away in a case to protect it. Use a cloth for cleaning, otherwise, youll end up scratching the lenses.

Ordered these from Walmart. com because the description and picture showed the glasses to be tinted but they are not they are clear. We found these on another site but the reviews on that site stated that the picture was wrong and they came in clear.

We chose to order from Walmart because we figured since both the description and picture stated tinted glasses we would be getting the tinted glasses.

I’ve taken them to the range about three times now, shooting handguns up to 45, 12 gauge shotgun, AR15, and a rifle 270 Winchester. All times, my hearing was protected and my ears were comfortable. The glasses allowed full visibility.

I bought these a few months ago. On the plus side, they are cost-effective (but see below), and offer a range of coloured lenses. The lenses are thick and I am confident that they would provide the protection a shooter seeks.

However, the arms are flimsy. There is a marked difference in the robustness of the lenses compared to the arms. That is unfortunate, as the arms are almost as important as the lenses when it comes to protection.

The arms extend, but they can easily ‘extend’ right out of the socket. There is little to prevent them from coming out. Also, the glasses are a snug fit at the temples. I have a large head and typically require wider glasses than normal.

My cranium doesn’t exactly have its own gravitational pull, but it is larger than average. If you have a large head, these might be too snug a fit. The lenses are difficult (initially) to swap out. You actually have to remove each arm support separately.

While the anti-fog foam at the brow is a nice touch, in removing the lenses, there is a risk of damaging that foam (I damaged the foam on the grey lens when I tried to swap for clear). I’m not concerned about damaging the lens (although you do tend to get finger prints all over them when removing the arm supports), but the arm supports are flimsy.

One of the reasons I purchased the Wiley X Sabre is because they can use prescription inserts (which I require). However, I have not yet received my inserts, so I cannot comment on them. The civilian version of the ballistic lenses that are issued by the Canadian Forces are about twice the price of the Wiley X Sabre, but are much easier when it comes to swapping out lenses, and the arms are more robust.

I’m really tough on these sunglasses. Wear them anytime Im outside, and they get a lot of abuse. They relieve so much of the eyestrain from bright sun for me. I’ve had some eye damage and have extreme light sensitivity especially from the sides.

Wrap-arounds that fit well are the only ones for me now. I buy them 2 pairs at a time now to make sure I have pair close by.

The Wiley x shooting glass system is a great value. The glasses are well made and have features normally found in models costing much more. The frames fit my face well and have an adjustable nose piece and the temple piece can be lengthened for proper fit.

The kit also comes with an adjustable head band that can be used if you prefer not to use the standard arms. The lenses are clear and durable while providing excellent target visibility. It took a couple of times to get the hang of changing lenses, but it is now an easy process.

The kit comes with a durable carrying case that makes storing and transporting the glasses a breeze. A microfiber cleaning cloth is also supplied. I am pleasantly surprised with the quality and functionality of these glasses and would highly recommend them.

You could spend much more, but why?.

They do not fog, they do not scratch, and the thin profile keeps them comfortable to wear even when being pinched by large over the ear hearing protection. By the end of a range day most eye protection has begun digging into my temple and gives me a migraine.

Not these! Aegis Echo II for the win!!!.

The glasses come in a very nice carry case and they came with clear lenses and smoke lenses that can be easily changed. Everything about the glasses if first rate. My only complaint is that they are huge, I wear a 7 1/4 fitted hat and these glasses are way too big for my head.

Unless you have a very large head look at the asian model.

I really like how it is lightweight and when I’m wearing it at the range and training, the ear sleeves is so thin, it doesn’t irritate when I’m wearing my hearing protection. It’s easy to replace glasses for different condition.

The sunnies came with dark tinted and clear glasses, case, anti-fog cleaning cloth and lanyard for it.

These safety glasses are a great value for the price paid. They are very well made and sturdy and although I have only been using them for two weeks they have not fog up and already protected my eyes from an accidental chemical cleansing liquids splash.

This is a very comfortable safety glasses. What I like most is that it protected my eyes for the Florida sun without reducing my all-round visibility. It fits great and does not irritated my ear or nose.
