Ghosts takes the Call of Duty series in a slightly different direction, the gampeplay remains the same but this storyline is very different from what veterans of the series will be used to. I have most of the Call of Duty console games and I much prefer the single player or co-op elements of these games to the online, speaking of which Ghosts has two disc and the first is the main game disc (the one you us to play the game) disc two has in fact to be installed to play the single player campaign.

This shows how the series has evolved to support multiplayer over single player, that being said though the game still has a good single player campaign with an interesting story that takes you to an earth where things have not gone the way they were supposed toGhosts is another first person shooter in the Call of Duty series of games and this one has an individual story that takes place in a very different environment to what fans will be used to.

You generally play as Logan who is one of two sons to a man named Elias, he tells a story of a division of highly trained men sent to deal with an outnumbering threat and many of them fall but a few remained after the first assault.

Those men waited under the bodies of the dead with their fallen comrades blood running over them, when the next battle came the fifteen men killed all ninety of the remaining enemy and became known as ghosts (as they were forever changed because of the events of that battle and considered fearless).

They boys wonder if that is a true story or just a tale but by the end of the game both they and you will know the answer to that, aside from the storyline the game centres on a battle between the “Federation of The Americas” and the “United States” after a super weapon was hijacked and used against the latter by the former.

Now the Federation outnumber the U. S. forces and bloody stalemate has been going on for the last ten years as the U. S. forces hold what is left of their cities. All this is about to change though as Elias says he is tired of being on the defensive, he sends Logan (you and his other son David (known as Hesh) into no mans land (an unpredictable wasteland as a result of the initial battle ten years earlier) their job is to gather intel on the enemy but they find out more than they expected to.

Although the game centres on Logan’s perspective and the majority of the game you play as him there are several other characters you will also play as for short stints. GameplayWhen the shooting starts your first fight is actually starts out in space, thus bringing in the first new gameplay element to be found here – Zero Gravity shooting.

The control here is not an issue though as physics is not a factor [they like to keep it simple], this means that you can float around shooting but the recoil of the gun won’t push you back. They get away with this as you are in a spacesuit and have the RCS thruster pack on to keep you stable, you of course only have to aim your weapon and shoot the bad guys in typical Call of Duty style there is nothing else to concern yourself about.

The next new element is underwater combat, in MW3 (Modern Warfare three) there was an underwater mission but the one in Ghosts is much more intense, there are a number of bad guys and as you are told three shots are generally required to take out a bad guy as bullets don’t work so well underwater.

Beyond that it is pretty much business as usual (as in enjoying simple gameplay thanks to Call of Duty’s tried and tested user friendly control method). Aside from running around shooting you also get to drive and shoot from a tank, mounted guns and another powerful item that I will say nothing about as that would be a spoiler.

There are a few press the button when indicated sequence (they are annoying but luckily there are only a few). Plus whenever a specific button needs to be pressed you are told and when you have to interact with something it is always highlighted to make it easier to locate.

As with many of the more modern Call of Duty games there is an extensive multiplayer option in Ghosts, now as usual there is lots of extra content that can be downloaded (a good way for the developers to rake in extra profits by fleecing customers with downloadable content when it could just as easily have been placed on disc) but it is optional, the last game I did this on was black ops and it was a bad choice as I hardly used it.

Ghosts is a great game that does manage to live up to the franchise in delivering the typical thrills a Call of Duty game can, but I would have been disappointed if I had paid the retail price back when this title was first released, the campaign was fairly easy for me even on veteran.

But I have to say for the measly £3 I paid recently I am very happy with the purchase. In recommending it, I would say totally yes because the game is dirt cheap now and well worth a few pounds that it costs these days.

So as the title denotes, it’s not terrible, just not as good as others in the series. For the Wii U, it runs about as good as the 360 version but with noticeable FPS drops. Overall it’s pretty good, sucks that you can’t get the dlc for the game, or play any other mode than TDM online since the community doesn’t exist anymore.

The main reason I bought this was just to have a cod game on the one console I currently have. As the campaign goes, it’s very bland, to me at least. Stick to playing online. Making your NAT type open is almost a requirement for smooth online play, especially on older consoles.

So if you’re in a pinch and want a cod game to play, sure, this is it.

The Campaign was fun enough, predictable, but still interesting enough to play through a couple times. After playing through it once it was nice to have the mission select option in order to find collectables, fulfill trophy challenges, etc.

The Multiplayer on the other hand seemed broken. Camping seems to be the favored (and only regularly successful) method of playing. An FPS should cater to various play-styles, based on load outs, preference, and what have you, not force you to play the most boring way possible to succeed.

Trying to run from cover to cover is a death sentence. When a camper could be gotten to, Revenge Spawns (killing an opponent and then having them spawn somewhere just behind or next to you) allowed them to immediately end your streak.

These strange spawn patterns also made it difficult to gain anything close to resembling map control. I suppose gameplay mechanics like this are another reason camping is so highly valued. Couple that with the aim assist drawing an immediate bead on your enemy as soon as you ADS, and low damage to death ratio made for a less than fun MP experience.

Latency continues to be a big issue, possibly worse than in previous CoD titles. At times you could seemingly be firing for a good second and putting 3 or 4 shots on target, only to immediately die. In the ensuing Killcam it shows that you barely got your gun up and were killed by your target before even firing a shot.

The new customization options were alright, but the loadout/perk setup was a downgrade (not very accessible to the average player) from Black Ops 2’s “Pick 10”. The Squads game modes that involved other human players were some fun, although the human vs.

bots modes were far too easy to clear. Extinction was alright as well, but there were very few clear indications of what to do (beyond put drill here, protect drill) or how to do them, mostly trial and error.

Once you figure out all the things you can do and how to do them there was some fun to be had. In the end I traded the game in after about two weeks, and will not be fooled into buying another Call of Duty title for some time.

I purchased this game for my son. He loves it. He said that this particular game has 3 version of Call of duty Modern Warfare on it. He loves playing on line with other players. The graphics are amazing.

And the price was very affordable, a great buy. I do reccomend purchasing this video game. You will not be disappointed.

I got this trilogy game set with a system bundle for Xbox. I ordered the bundle set for my husband. He is a call of duty gamer fan lol the bundle set I ordered was a heck of a deal and my husband is very happy with the games.

I’m a Far Cry fan! I got into Far Cry 5 first and worked backward from there which has brought me to Far Cry 3. My experience from previous Far Cry tiles prepared me for playing Far Cry 3. I find the game very compelling and I’m glad to add it to my Far Cry collection! Be warned! I’m on Xbox One and when you initially load the game it will start with the ritualistic “Update”.

In that update Ubisoft (the game manufacturer) has included a promotion bit in the software that will change visages on the the Ubisoft game titles in your library, to a pig in a blue suit. For instance if you had previously installed Far Cry 4, the visage of Pagan Min becomes a pig in a blue suit.

What I have found is that “the pig in the blue suit” is the character on the cover of the Ubisoft’s new game “Watch Dogs Legion”! Go figure!.

OMG, if you’re a gamer and you haven’t played Far Cry 3 I highly suggest you get off your tush and get to playing, Skippy. The game is set on a gorgeous paradise island archipelago of open world free for all where angry locals are after you, sharks are feverishly hungry and Skrillex is your BFF as you tick off some baddies by burning their happy bushes.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior PS3 is here But it’s brought new problems with it without fixing what made Sniper less than the sum of its parts last time around. somewhere in the journey from PC/360 to PS3, something has gone very wrong.

Character models are awkward and bizarrely shiny, though the environments appear expansive and lush. However, this is punctuated by an abysmal framerate — the game chugs along unless you’re looking at the floor or directly at the sky.

Almost as distracting is the egregious screen tearing that plagues Sniper: Ghost Warrior on PS3 — at times it seems like the image on screen is breaking apart in three of four different places. The “improved graphics” are nowhere to be found and Sniper: Ghost Warrior PS3 is one of the uglier shooters of the last few years.

The sniping mechanic itself has made the transition to the PS3 more or less intact, though. While Sniper: Ghost Warrior isn’t quite as excruciatingly prone to realism as, say, ARMA 2 or the original Operation: Flashpoint, it seems realistic.

Shots from the titular sniper rifles in Ghost Warrior are subject to gravity and environmental effects from wind and the like, such that play is predicated less on twitch gunplay and more on setting up and taking the right shots at targets.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior makes itself more accessible than the more stringent military simulations by granting the equivalent of sniper super powers; clicking in the right stick while zoomed in with a sniper rifle causes the world to slow, simulating the increased concentration of an inwardly held breath from a trained marksman.

On the default difficulty, this is accompanied by a red circular sub-reticule that will appear if you hold your aim long enough, which displays exactly where your bullet will land after the effects of wind and gravity.

On harder difficulties, this sub-reticule vanishes, leaving you more at the whim of the elements. Firing a sniper rifle in Ghost Warrior feels distinctive and particularly rewarding in comparison to most titles’ point-and-click approach to long-range combat.

The graphical issues — as well as some generally poor voicework and text riddled with grammatical errors — pale in comparison to level design that does little to support actual sniping, and which is often dependent on AI triggers tied to waypoints that aren’t especially well implemented.

Enemies will spawn into levels based on these triggers in bizarre ways that test suspension of disbelief, and make it difficult to effectively plan out an approach. The run-and-gun sections from last year’s 360 and PC releases of Sniper: Ghost Warrior have been removed more or less, replaced by cutscenes that show the results of the assault missions in question.

While these sections were generic, not-fun messes, their removal is somewhat of a wash, leaving Sniper: Ghost Warrior on PS3 a game that suffers even more from a feeling of sameness. Some new, actual gameplay addition would have been welcome.

Instead, there are more sniper levels, set aside from the main game and available for immediate play. But the only really new conceit — to take away the HUD and checkpoints — don’t make for more fun.

They make for even more frustration. These sections serve only to demonstrate how poor the AI and basic shooting in Sniper: Ghost Warrior are — when the AI isn’t spotting you with machine-like precision in brush from 2000 yards away, that is.

the game seems to be an updated version of what i can tell as its older sibling for ps2 named sniper elite wich was staged in ww2 and you were in germany it was a greate game also. sniper ghost warrior is a good game and does justice to its older sibling.

its staged in 3rd wourld country that i cannot remember right now but you can get the idea by looking at the cover of the game what kind of enviroment youll be playingin. The A. I is pretty smart as far as spotting you if you dont hide well but after that they just kind of run around and shoot at you and stand out in the open for the most part but there are some that seem to be set up much better than others as far as useing their cover and moving from cover to cover.

now on to the enviroment the trees weeds and rocks are all good but when it comes to the little huts with ladders in up to them that would make a greate sniping spot you cant climb into them. it just seems like there should have been a just a lil more free world roam.

now onto the fps set up as far as the granades and knives medkits were a much needed addition that went extremely well in this game. the clearity in the scope with the drop compensated scope with windage added into the bullets trajectory could make this game hard to play but they put in this red dot that does the compensating for you insead of the cross hairs you use the red dot.

and the camera that follows the bullet from the barrel to the bad guy if its a head shot. wich is just plane awsome that needs to be in more army and fighting games i gave this game a 4 because the repelling wasnt very good and the the enviroment could have been a little more free roaming and there could be more choices on guns and the ability to do different things with the guns.

but as far as the shooting and killing of the A. I it pushed its score up to a 4star in my eyes.

MAG, otherwise known as Massive Action Game, has never been short of ambition. Cramming 256 players into a single FPS multiplayer match is no small task at the best of times, but doing it on home consoles is unprecedented.

Nevertheless, this is what Zipper Interactive has done with MAG. 256 players on a single map, battling for control of a persistent online world. Ambition, thy name is Zipper. As with all lofty concepts, MAG was destined to either become a technological triumph or an overzealous disaster.

Having spent many hours invested in the game’s huge battles, testing out all the game modes, and taking part in several gigantic matches with a full 256 players, I can now tell you which way MAG went.

Not only that, but no nation’s military is allowed to leave its own country’s borders, effectively forcing world peace. Of course, this is a videogame, and violence always finds a way. To get around the pesky inconvenience of global peace, the world gave rise to a variety of private military corporations who would work for anybody, allowing countries to continue their wars without violating any rules.

The PMCs competed heavily for contracts, always trying to undercut each other, but the competition soon became vicious. PMCs actively began to attack each other, kickstarting the “Shadow War” as they tried to run each other out of business by straining supplies and raising budgets.

MAG revolves around three powerful PMC factions — Raven, SVER and Valor — all of which now battle for supremecy of the global war market. Players will choose to serve one of these three factions, and will be able to switch sides if they so decide.

Each PMC has access to its own unique weapons and skills. Raven is a high-tech force from Western Europe that uses the most advanced equipment, but lacks real-world fighting experience. SVER is a patchwork collection of soldiers from the Middle East and Russia who make the best of what they have, while Valor is an elite band of mercenaries who employ standard military gear and excel at communication.

The factions are all fairly balanced and the differences are mostly aesthetic. During each battle, players will earn XP for kills and assists, completing objectives and healing allies or performing repairs.

These points can then be spent on a skill tree to unlock new items and weapons. A very simplistic skill tree is in effect, allowing the player some measure of customization. For instance, you can focus on close-quarter combat, or pick skills to aid in sniping, or work on acquiring heavy armor to take on vehicles or perform defensive roles.

Nothing particularly innovative or amazing, but it does the job and has enough content to satisfy fans of customization.

When you first hear that MAG supports 256-player online matches, you may be inclined to picture hordes of soldiers swarming on top of one another and filling the air with thousands of bullets. The reality is that skirmishes play out on a much smaller scale, yet MAG still boasts some of the busiest battlefields in the genre.

On the objective-rich maps, defeating the enemy squads arrayed against you demands individual skill and team coordination. Powerful rewards and intriguing command abilities await determined soldiers, making the tight combat all the more satisfying.

There are some rough edges to contend with, however, including technical problems and a creeping sense of repetition. Yet though MAG is sometimes frustrating, it is more often engaging and occasionally thrilling.

Three private military companies–S. V. E. R. , Raven, and Valor–are engaged in a so-called Shadow War for military contracts, attacking each other’s facilities in order to gain an edge. If a faction has enough success in a given match type, it earns a contract that gives its players a slight bonus every time they play that match type.

These bonuses are fairly minimal (+5% experience points, for example) and don’t tip the scales too much, serving more as an indicator of faction status than a tangible goal to strive for. Each faction has a different appearance, different guns, and a different attitude, and you make your choice based on a brief recruiting video.

This isn’t much to go on, but they all have similar arsenals and the same skill progression trees, so they are essentially interchangeable. That doesn’t mean you can change factions, however. After enlisting, you are stuck with the faction you chose unless you delete your character or reach level 60, at which point you can start a new career.

This persistence builds faction loyalty and increases the likelihood that you’ll see familiar teammates. You also get very familiar with the maps because they are faction-specific; you always defend your own turf and attack your enemies’ territories.

This consistency has obvious benefits, and though there are only ten maps, most of them have multiple fronts. The biggest maps have four such fronts, each of which has a different layout and presents its own challenges.

Even with this variety, you can reach a point where you start feel like you’ve seen it all before. Fortunately, the maps are very well designed, and there is so much going on in each battle that this feeling doesn’t become a problem.

There are four match types in MAG, though only two are available to you early on. Suppression is team deathmatch within your own faction. Sabotage introduces the concept of taking and holding objectives, challenging attackers to capture two points in order to unlock (and subsequently destroy) the third point.

These 64-player matches are very straightforward and provide a good point of entry into the game. You can certainly find some hotly contested matches as players hone their weapon skills, but these modes ultimately lack the dynamic intensity of MAG’s larger-scale battles.

When you need to clear the way for bunker demolition, your shotgun is a powerful ally.

If and when MAG finds a dedicated audience and the casual, blood-crazed floating audience drifts away, it should blossom into something tactical and smart, those 128-player teams creating a militarised war that nothing else on console can come close to.

That’s the game it wants to be, and the game it deserves to be. Alas, it may have shot itself in the foot with the epic headcount: even in the early, 64-player modes it’s going to be daunting and punishing for newcomers.

A fiddly HUD that makes getting a bead on squad- (as opposed to faction-) mates and objectives far less obvious than it should be doesn’t help there without a good, talkative commander, relative newcomers are going to flail around desperately.

Despite those buttoned-down starting modes, without any single-player content to practice on there’s a serious barrier to entry for casual shooter players. Like Warhawk and Quake Wars: Enemy Territory before it, it may well flounder as a result, regardless of its beefy merits.

But it works. It really does. 6. 0 Presentation No-frills, straight-to-the action has its merits when your trigger fingers all itchy, but more character would go a long way. Big battles are a great sight, but everything else is so perfunctory.

8. 0 Graphics Its, yknow, fine. Unexceptional, but never embarrassing. Individual characters look a few years old, but thats a necessary and forgivable side-effect of how many chaps it has to pack in.

Some guns dont feel as meaty as youd hope either. 7. 5 Gameplay The core mechanics taken wholesale from other big-map team shooters are strong, but the dated HUD and over-prevalance of lone-wolves risks it becoming far more drearily ordinary than it is.

7. 5 Lasting Appeal Depends on whether you truly identify with one of the factions. Otherwise, the bland anonymity of it all means that brain-itch to continually climb the level ladder will wear off fast.

There were a lot of things that made Borderlands such a great game when it came out three years ago: the hardscrabble planet, the oddball characters, the hostile creatures, the diverse missions, the abundant loot, the powerful skill trees, and the novelty of all these things combined in a cooperative first-person shooter.

In Borderlands 2, the novelty is gone, but all of the other elements are back and better than ever. This sequel doubles down on the successes of the original and shores up its shortcomings, improving the familiar formula and delivering dozens and dozens of hours of immensely entertaining gameplay.

Perhaps the most notable difference is that Pandora now feels like a vibrant, living place. What once was a lonely frontier planet populated primarily by savage men and feral beasts is, well, still a planet populated primarily by savage men and feral beasts.

But it isn’t so lonely anymore, thanks to an expanded cast of diverse and entertaining characters. Many familiar faces return, including the delusional robot, Claptrap; the hayseed mechanic, Scooter; and the bawdy vixen, Moxxi.

The four playable characters from the first game are back as well, and they each play a robust role in the story (and have way more spoken lines than ever before). There are some delightful new additions too, such as the arrogant antagonist, Handsome Jack, and the teenage demolitionist, Tiny Tina.

Random townsfolk also have a few things to say, no longer content with mute or monosyllabic responses, and even the bandits you fight have a broader range of context-sensitive taunts. The huge amount of high-quality voice acting required to bring this world to life is fueled by excellent writing, which provides some genuinely nasty tirades and surprisingly tender moments amid the avalanche of laugh-out-loud funny lines.

The breadth of personalities invigorates your adventure and makes Pandora a lively, engrossing place, the kind of place it fell short of being in the first game. The only drawback to the sheer volume of communication is that sometimes conversations are cut off by other incoming messages before you can hear them through.

This doesn’t pose any barrier to progression, but with dialogue this good, you don’t want to miss a word. If you apply this same philosophy to exploration, Borderlands 2 will keep you busy for a very, very long time.

The environments of Pandora are more vibrant and diverse this time around, and the eye-catching artistic aesthetic is enlivened with a richer color palette and more clever details. Textures sometimes load sluggishly when you’re entering new areas and occasionally look rough upon close inspection, but this is still a visually appealing world.

Diligent explorers will find both lovely vistas and amusing sights–the humor of the writing extends into the environmental design as well. There are tons of areas to visit during the course of your adventure, some of which you won’t even see if you don’t stray far from the main story missions.

The mission system is one area in which small tweaks have a noticeable impact. The onscreen checklist updates you of any mission.

I love this game. Lot’s of powerful weapons and each weapon has lots of variations a gun might seem at a glance to be on the week side and with little monetary value but then you notice it has a special ability like for example the round may explode on impact doing serious damage or it may burst into a fireball setting them on fire.

The weapons alone really keep you entertained for hours. The game play itself is great. It lets you roam all over the world questing for this and that taking jobs as you like and you will like trust me.

If you like games like Halo you will like this game. I especially like the cars you get to drive, they blow Halo cars away I think. IN Halo you either drove or you manned the gun but here you can fire two different guns from the driver seat and then if you want to really unleash hell on them stop and hit triangle and you quickly jump to the big gun.

Also if you can’t seem to find your way into a city with high walls, just look around for something that might look like a huge ramp and go for it, hitting rocket boosters as you approach the top. LOL Should you buy this game? Everyone should have this game in their collection.

I wish I had of invested in it sooner but at least I got it for a good price. Oh, I am 45 years old so I may see things a bit different than some one half my age. My grandson didn’t care for the black outline look of everything but it didn’t bother me at all.

Not every game has to look like Call of Duty but if that’s what you have to have to make your tiddly wink you may be a little turned off by the look but if your looking for a really good game that gives you plenty to do and room to do it in and the firepower to make them pay, step right up.

May contain spoilers. I’ll try not to state anything not already shown in trailers. Borderlands 2 plays very differently from the original. While it keeps the base elements of RPG progression and large intertwining storyline of the original there are alot of changes to the gameplay.

Elemental damage is generally pointless on an enemy type unless it is specifically designed for it (e. g. Shock damage weapons are only useful on shielded enemies, whereas on the original shock damage would still rack up more damage than a non elemental weapon), a new elemental type has been introduced: “Slag”, when a enemy is slagged it allows you to deal double the original amount of damage you would normally deal.

The AI in the game have been improved alot (in the original, if you hit a skag in a vehicle it would either splat or stay on your bumper doing damage, but in borderlands 2 if you hit an animal with a vehicle, you bowl it over).

There are a bunch of new enemies including: threshers, goliaths and stalkers. Weapon manufacturers now have different specialities (e. g. Jakobs from borderlands 1 used to specialise in powerful weaponry but fired very slowly, in borderlands 2 jakobs weapons fire as fast as you can pull the trigger, but aren’t much more powerful anymore.

) S&S munitions no longer exist. Eridian weapons have been replaced with E-Tec weapons that can be found by every manufacturer and tend to fire either spikes, railgun shots, or plasma balls. The skill tree from the first game is very similar but instead of one tree with three sides it now shows three different sides.

Instead of elemental artifacts that you would equip in the first game you now have “relics” which equip to your player for added bonuses. Borderlands 2 now supports splitscreen over the net and LAN as well allowing you to play online with a friend.

Borderlands 2 keeps the humor of the original and does a very good job of making you hate the main enemy handsome jack, by the time you fight him. It could use a few patches as items tend to fall through the map from time to time which can become frustrating especially when it is a mission based retrieveal item.

Borderlands 2 doesn’t feel like borderlands, but it is still a great game, and deftinitely one not to be missed.

This is the triple O. G. Black ops game for all us C. O. D. Players out there. World at War originally started the zombies for C. O. D; that goes way back, but what hyped it up all these years for zombies.

Is this game right here. Zombies was the shitacki mushrooms on this game. I enjoyed every single second of it. All the maps were soo original, and the effects even back then, were out of this world. My all time favorite zombies maps: Moon, and Ascension.

Moon: Having the best Easter egg out of all the maps in the B01 series, and the most Bad*bleep wonder weapons. Let alone from doing the Easter egg, you get to blow up Earth, and watch Samantha plot her revenge.

That within itself is a lot of *bleeps. (:Ascension: Why this is my all time favorite, and possibly every fan favorite’s is because, it really set the tone for every zombies map after that. Not only did the Easter egg reveal to us players that Samantha’s true identity is a demonic being, but this is really where it started engrossing a lot of fans.

Which led to us expecting an Easter egg for every DLC after that. This is such a great game, and every black ops game after that. If you’ve never played this, or it’s series. You should. You’d love every second of it.

I was very upset to learn there are many features not available in this game for the WII edition. One of the main reasons was to play zombies, although you can there is no split screen so it’s only single player.

(Don’t forget the vending machine behind the bar for a revive) the only perk to one player zombies. It’s only one zombie map too. Online modes work but no 2 player for missions or training. Cheat codes don’t seem to work either, in the main screen you can escape from the chair and access a computer to enter them but they don’t work.

I got classic controllers for the game and in zombies they only let you pick from several pre set controls you can’t customize so they are kind of awkward. Game play is ok but I always preferred MW cod.

The turning side to side is slow aiming and you can’t cycle through killstreak rewards which is annoying. I’d like to be able to use a uav before an airstrike to increase it’s effectivness. If these are things you’re looking for get a different cod or buy it on a different platform that supports it.

I should of checked myself but didn’t think at all split screen wouldn’t be supported so kind of shocked.

I’ve always wanted a copy of this game when I was young. Now I finally got it. I bought it brand new and the case was good. Once I open the case the clips of the case broke at the bottom now I need to re glue the small pieces.

Also game disc had a few scratches on it. I’m not sure maybe the cased might scratched it? However the scratches doesn’t affect the gameplay. Overall highly recommend this to your call of duty collection.

Fun game for kids. Dated by 2020 standards but does the job and is still fun for younger ones and parents. Seems hard to get past the first level though to find all the puzzle pieces. Will keep looking.

Is fun shooting everything. The PS3 camera eye is OK. Losses accuracy at times but a wiggle and it seems to re centre again. I would recommend for some light fun.

I played the demo on Playstation Network and thought it was a fun, arcade-like shooter game, plus I like the point building system, bonus moves, etc. Glad I got it–a friend and I have loved tearing through the level, trying to maximize our score.

The Move controller is sort of an interesting method of tracking your shots (move–>camera–>screen instead of a direct move–>screen relation, ie, duck hunt), and as a result I confess it isn’t so accurate that you can just point at the screen with the move and shoot.

This is a bummer to me, but the game is still really fun, esp. since you do have the on screen crosshairs to at least know where you will be shooting. Imitating more life like gun movements (holding it in front of you, looking down the barrel, etc) does help you with speed and accuracy, however, despite the non-perfect aiming.

You just have to combine it with looking at the on screen crosshair. Overall a very fun, very clean game. Love playing it with the gun attachments too.

Only $5-$7 defenitely worth it! I play with my 4 year old son. he loves it with the gun attachments. You have to play the first couple levels in order to play the 2 player mode which was the only sad part.

but this game was a lot of fun and has plenty replay value.

This game is so much fun. While it isn’t groundbreaking in its form like Battlefield 1 was, it is def better than Battlefield 1 in many ways. The graphics have gotten slightly better, especially in terms of water/ landscape movement and response to your actions.

Game play is very fun and obsessive. This game is NOTHING like the original reveal trailer, which i admit was very odd with the claws and weird German people. BFV is much more similar to Battlefield 1 in design.

Check out the trailers that were released only a few weeks before the game came out and you will see what I mean. The one thing this game is missing is AMERICA!!! Where are the US and Russian soldiers and equipment! I get that they’re doing the “Untold War Stories” thing but I would like to see some really major battles involving America and Russia (Battle of Kursk).

I believe that it will be coming as the game progresses with Tides of War and the new campaign missions. really hope so. If you couldn’t care less, and even if you do, still an amazing game that BLOWS COD Black Ops IIII out of the water, same as always.

Got this for son for xmas. I can’t say much as to the actual game play, as I haven’t yet sat and actually watched him play yet, but he seems to really enjoy this game. He has stated that it is “cool”, when in cover to heal, your opponent will shoot at you and the whole wall or building will explode.

So I expect taking cover is not all that easy of thing to accomplish if the walls or building you are taking cover under will just completely blow up when being shot at. But he seems to like the concept.

He loves, war, shooting games and this game fits the bill. Only down side to game I can state without having much experience with it is the cursing. I don’t quite understand why all these games need to have swearing threwout them.

They can be just as fun and compelling of game play without the bad words spewed out during. I, myself make them put the game sound on mute when there is swearing, which was fine and dandy at first, but there are games where they need to have the sound up to actually play the game, and they are not as willing and satisfied to do so as they once we’re, as what’s the fun in playing with no sound because the developers think they cannot finish the game without throwing in a ton of swearing?.

What fails to be clear upon purchase is that as great as this game may be – you cannot install it on a 4GB XBOX. The game sees the 4GB as a flash drive because it is not a true hard drive. Unless you are willing to purchase at the very least an additional 20GB refurbished Hard Drive -which can be found at GameStop for an additional $20 – and if you don’t already own a set – of a very tiny torq screwdrivers – needed to to open the casing it is sold in and then reinstalling it in you 4GB XBOX – of which there are YouTube videos online to assist you – and having it either reinstalled in a smaller casing or precariously rigging it to be stable with a wedge of some kind so that it will not wiggle loose from the connection point – you will never play this game on your 4GB Xbox.

Between Microsoft and EA gaming developers someone ought to have this information prominently displayed as it can be very difficult returning an opened video game. Also it should be known that the install fix will void any warranty you may have had for your Xbox! Ouch! Add $20 for refurbished hard drive and $30 for a torq screwdriver set and the cost of this game goes up to an average of $100 if you are the sad owner of a mere 4GB hard drive (which is not at all even a true hard drive) Xbox.

Having purchased it for gifts to 3 individuals myself I felt compelled to also buy them the refurbished hard drive to be able to play their game – pretty sad – though once installed I hear it is an awesome game.

To be straight to the point, this is a very fun game. This tactical shooter is the natural progression of what we saw in the Ghost Recon series releases from 2006 and 2007. It brings in new element such as adaptive cloaking camouflage and x-ray enabled goggles to see enemies though objects.

Solid gameplay mechanics allow for straight up firefights with opposing forces, but where the game truly shines is where the player can clear hostile areas without ever being detected by employing drones, close quarters stealth, and synchronous squad takedown commands.

Many areas of the game play out sort of like a puzzle and challenge your stealthy tactics. Graphically, this title holds up very well for what is now a four year old release. Many environments have a very high level of detail.

This coupled with a good amount of onscreen action can be very easy on the eyes. For as good as the campaign is, unfortunately, the competitive online is a little on the vacant side. Four years after the release of most games this will be the case.

I was only able to find matches in one of the five competitive modes. It was fun for a little while, but many matches seemed a bit to unbalanced to hold my interest. There is also a fun little cooperative mode that can be played on or offline that has youfighting waves of enemies.

You’ll have to have friends with the same game though, as there is no matchmaking for that mode or the campaign – which has a full co-op mode as well. For the price that you’ll find this game here on eBay, the hefty twelve mission campaign alone is worth your time and I thoroughly recommend it.

I was a little confused by the character being in view all the time and the sighting aid being off centre with weapons other than scoped rifle but you get used to it. Especially when taking cover. You can pop out fire and pop back without getting hit.

Grenade warnings are good and clear to see but you can get shot a lot as well not like other games where the grenades take you out more. I enjoyed the added features like cloaking cammo and thermal vision which was handy in the sandstorm.

You have access to drones to spy or activate pulse charges. Plenty of weapons and ammo available. You can spot enemies for your team and have syncronised hits. Generally a good game with plenty of action.

I prefer the character behind the weapon with in line sighting.

Ok, I know it’s not a new game, but somehow is is still quite playable. Graphics is solid most of the time and very good mechanics are in place. You really feel like mini tactician on the battlefield.

There are few things missing like ability to hide bodies of executed enemies, the world is quite enclosed and you feel sometimes that the makers had not foresee the way to progress that you have just invented.

And there is not enough hand to hand combat. Bad things: – Frame rate drops sometimes (to the point of freezing) – Limits to your movement, closed paths, unforeseen ways of progressing. – You do not feel you actually progress as a soldier.

Good things: – Sync shot – bloody hell this is fun! – Tactics – just a bit of it but enough to make you feel in control and kind of modern assassin! – Story is good enough. – I loved the ending with hidden criticism towards american politics.

Over all. Solid game with strong replayability! Do not expect next gen coz it’s not, but it is great fun! Qube recommends with clear conscience (well, a bit dirty conscience after killing so many enemies).

There is no shortage of online destinations for those who enjoy first-person gun-wielding combat, but no matter how many opportunities you get to shoot another player in the face, there is always room for one more.

Especially when that one more is as exciting and intense as Battlefield: Bad Company 2. The online multiplayer in this modern military shooter is a standout, featuring huge maps, incredible destructibility, powerful vehicles, and excellent sound design.

These elements combine to foster the sense that you are fighting on an actual battlefield, making many other online shooters seem more like combat arenas than believable war zones. Multiplayer battles are invigorating and addictive, but they aren’t all that Bad Company 2 has to offer.

The sizable campaign takes you to beautiful and exotic locations where you’ll be sorely tempted to take a break from shooting bad guys and blowing things up to admire the scenery. Your hilarious and endearing squadmates are great companions, giving the campaign a rich sense of character not often found in the genre.

The result is a very entertaining adventure that, coupled with the excellent multiplayer and top-notch technical presentation, makes Battlefield: Bad Company 2 something special in the world of shooters.

The beginning of Bad Company’s second tour finds Sarge, Marlowe, Sweetwater, and Haggard stationed in a wintery valley, supposedly serving out Sarge’s last tour of duty. Lofty mountains loom high against the bright blue sky as you sneak your way between snow-laden trees and out across a frozen river.

As you infiltrate a small village, the snow muffles the sound of your footfalls, and when a firefight breaks out, your ears ring from the concussion of nearby explosives. One daring escape later, you’re dropped into the Bolivian jungle, where mosquitoes whine in your ear as you walk in the dappled light of the jungle floor.

Gunfire doesn’t echo very far in the forest, but beneath the corrugated tin roof of a logging outpost, each bullet is a cacophony unto itself. This vivid, engaging world is a testament to Bad Company 2’s remarkable technical presentation.

The stunning landscapes are matched by the diverse, intriguing terrain in both rural and urban environments. The excellent sound design further enriches your sense of place, and each gunshot, footstep, and exclamation fuels your battlefield awareness and informs your tactical decisions.

Though there are some blurry textures, occasional screen tearing, and awkward moments caused by the pervasive environmental destructibility, these are mere blemishes on the ambitious look and immersive sound of Bad Company 2.

Of course, just because the scenery is great doesn’t stop you from wanting to blow it up. Trees, barricades, vehicles, buildings, and bridges all splinter and break apart when exposed to gunfire or explosives.

Not only is it immensely fun to destroy things, but it’s crucial to your survival and success. Say. there’s a sniper perched in a tower covering your approach. You can try to pick him off without exposing yourself, or you can bust out your underbarrel grenade launcher and blow the platform to smithereens.

The explosion showers debris in a realistic and satisfying way, and the sniper is taken care of. Destruction is a double-edged sword, however, as you’ll learn the first time that the window you are shooting out of explodes and becomes a gaping hole through.

Bad Company 2,is right up there with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The technical achievements of the game, including its breathtaking visuals, match its high-quality content in both single player and multiplayer.

The lighting and shadow effects are particularly impressive, with light peering in from gaps in foliage, accurately casting shadows onto the players. The character models are highly detailed, the fire and smoke looks great, and the backdrops to each war-torn level both set the scene and create the impression of giant environments, with smoke billowing into the sky from distant buildings.

The single-player campaign follows the story of a group of elite soldiers called Bad Company. As with Modern Warfare 2, it’s full of carefully scripted action sequences in many different locations that will see players traipsing through swamps and across mountains.

At times, the characters and story can become bland and it was more a desire to see the next action sequence rather than the plot unravel that kept me playing. There are four classes, with equipment to unlock for each by scoring points, capturing objectives, assisting friendlies and neutralising enemies.

Players can join squads, and after dying, enter the map right next to their squad mates. Less time is spent running from one end of the map to where the action is taking place. If a squad member is driving a tank, you will be immediately placed as secondary gunner.

The physics engine allows the majority of objects on the battlefield to be reduced to rubble. If a bad guy is hiding near a wall, a grenade not only takes him out, but destroys the wall as well, preventing others from using it as cover.

However, though the destructible terrain can sometimes require a rethink of tactics, it’s more of a nice graphical effect than something that fundamentally affects how the game is played. Bad Company 2 is one of the best team-based multiplayer games around, eclipsing even Modern Warfare 2, and is undoubtedly an essential purchase if you play online games.

If you don’t, the single-player mode is still worth trying, although it lacks some of the magic you get from playing the game against other people. A Definite must for Fans of C. O. D,Medal of honour or basically any type of Shootem up.

I really like the collection of Black Ops. Black Ops 1 has a good storyline. The multiplayer is very challenging. Online multiplayer with players and offline multiplayer with the bots, but it’s fun. The Zombies mode is super hard, but I keep practicing.

Black Ops 2 has the best storyline. The online multiplayer is cool. Private lobby with my friends is super fun. The public lobby is alright, it would be better without Modders. Quick scope is pretty easy.

The offline multiplayer with the boys is pretty fun. The Zombie mode is pretty fun. It’s not as hard like Black Ops 1. Black Ops 3 doesn’t have Story Mode on it, so that was a bummer. The online multiplayer is good.

The offline multiplayer with the bots is good. Quick scopes is just the same as Black Ops 2. I didn’t like the Zombie mode. The storyline sucked. The multiplayer is better than Zombies on Black Ops 3.

Black Ops 1, 2 and 3 are awesome. Highly recommended.

It’s one thing for a game to ruin a buyer’s experience. It’s quite another for a game series to ruin the entire industry. The E. T. videogame and its terrible sales not only ended up in a dump in new mexico, but it largely burst the videogame bubble, which nearly took down the whole industry.

The Call of Duty series started as an interesting budget game that was an early adopter of a cover system and iron sights. Since then, this series has been using it’s sheer size to pressure game developers to make their games more like this bland junk that appeals solely to the worst elements in gaming culture.

As an analogy, If I were to compare all videogames to their quality equivalent in restaurants, Shadow of the Colossus would be a fancy sushi bar, Skyrim would be a great steakhouse, and if I was being charitable I’d say that Call of Duty Black Ops is like McDonalds, but it’s really more like licking the grease stain underneath a dumpter behind McDonalds.

I thought the graphics would be a “little” better but once you start playing you can’t stop! Love it! I played the previous Sniper Elites on PS3 and the last one was awesome. SE3 had so many subtle details like the empty cartridges rolling on the ground as they are ejected, just the little things that you pick up on and say to yourself “wow”.

SE4 is the first game I’ve ever played on PS4 console. I thought there would be a significant difference in the graphics. My personal opinion was that SE4 was more cartoonish than SE3 on PS3. I know that sounds bad but it’s not a deal killer.

The good news, still a great game. New abilities within the game make it fun. Once I started playing, got used to some of the new control configurations I was hooked! I never get tired of this series.

SE4 is great! I hope they make a Sniper Elite 5, I’ll buy it in a heartbeat!.

This is the 2nd time I have bought this. First got it on release. Although not a particularly long game, unlike Elite 4, it’s still a compelling game. Graphics aren’t too bad definitely better at night.

Can get a bit tense at times which is the point. Not overly difficult especially if you choose Cadet. A bit of patience is needed at times. At 14. 99 on Amazon you can’t go wrong.

I played Sniper Elite before but cannot remember whether it was Sniper Elite one or two. All I do remember is that it was enjoyable. Anyway I bought the third episode purely on the strength of that game and I am glad I did.

It is even better and the graphics are smoother and more detailed. The storyline is better and overall a very enjoyable way to spend weeks trying to win the war and not being injured apart from repetative strain injury and having thumbs like Popeyes forearms.

The move controller has an issue with calibrating. If you don’t re-calibrate it once in awhile during gameplay the curser goes off center. It will go off center if you get any closer then were you calibrated it at.

The quick draw moments are a guessing game. The wii is much more light gun game friendly than the ps move. But this is a solid game if you have the move. You get 5 games in one. a western shooter, a robot shooter, a under water shooter, a wierd kinda sci fi bio shock/ dick tracey/ mafia type inspired shooter, and a Zombie shooter.

If you’re getting old and too lazy to figure out what those 20 buttons on the remote does, this game is for you. It takes it back to old school shoot them up arcade games with better graphics. Fun simple easy game that you can get into without having a kid around to show you what the buttons do.

I love this game and if you are a hard core fan of COD then you will definitely noticed the changes. Best shooter game I’ve played in a while, because I really enjoy military style shooters. A big part of the gameplay is listening to opponents’ footsteps, so if you don’t have a great quality headset then you’d be at a disadvantage.

Ever since I was a kid I grew up playing video games and call of duty has always been one of my favorite games to play. If you’ve ever wanted to join the army, fight terrorism, and go on secret missions in other countries,Black Ops 3 might be the game for you.

Black Ops 3 takes place in the year 2065 a time where soldiers are given cybernetic enhancements to battle against robotic super soldiers. Because of this there are more controls for you to learn how to use, so if you are still not comfortable with the basics, this game might be a challenge.

While on duty you will be shooting, jumping, and sliding all across the battlefield. Black Ops 3 has 3 main game modes: campaign, multiplayer, and zombies. The campaign tells the story of you and your partner traveling across the world to carry out missions for the CIA.

multiplayer is a competitive online game mode where you fight people in different game modes including: team deathmatch, capture the flag, and domination. Multiplayer is best played when you have an online connection otherwise you are just fight bots.

Zombies is a gamemode where you fight off a zombie horde with the guns you find on the wall and mystery box. With every bullet that hits a zombie the more points you get to use to buy better guns, perks, and weapon upgrades.

The DLC in Black Ops 3 makes the players experience more enjoyable, but is not required to play. If you buy any DLC pack it will come with 5 maps: 4 for multiplayer and 1 for the zombies gamemode. Most of the multiplayer maps are nothing special, but if you are a big fan of zombies then DLC is a must.

This game is best played on PS4, Xbox one, and PC, but are available on Xbox 360 and PS3 as well. If you are playing on the PS4, Xbox one or PC the graphics for this game are, in my opinion, top-notch.

Everything from the building’s to the player models are very realistic and stunning. I would not recommend getting this game for anything that isn’t part of the new generation of consoles because the graphics on older consoles are much worse than on the newer ones.

Some features are also taken away on older consoles. Black Ops 3 is being sold new at gamestop for $60 which is standard for new games usually. If you think you can handle the control updates, and you have $60 dollars to spend I would highly recommend getting this game.

This game has given me a lot of joy from the time I have played it.

I bought these for my sons 11th birthday, having seen him enjoy watching gameplay on YouTube (I highly recommend Blitzwinger, hes got clean language and my son loves him). Both games involve some puzzle solving, not just a point and shoot platform game.

You need to investigate everywhere in order to find all the missing components. The cut scenes are well crafted in Knack I, but Knack II takes the graphics to a whole new level. They are so detailed and pull you into the story.

I was quite happy for my son to play Knack I, despite the 12 cert and dont understand quite why it was issued such a high rating. There is very little difference between I & II to explain why the first is higher.

I have a very strict ruling when it comes to certification, and if I had not seen the gameplay on YouTube, would not have bought Knack I. However, there is no bad language and the violence is no different to the sequel.

I would recommend both games for 7+ players. The main difference between the two games, other than quality of graphics, is that in Knack II you dont lose your relics when you shrink down. They follow you through the space and then rebuild you to your former height.

It cuts down on frustration levels greatly. My son is loving his games, and I am now the most popular member of the family!.

Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway sticks to these strengths, and commanding your squads through Nazi-occupied territory is more thrilling than ever thanks to the vibrant, beautiful scenery and the brutal, exhilarating action.

Sergeant Baker (your character) and his squad are all nuanced, sympathetic characters, though the story doesn’t quite live up to the promise of its protagonists. Despite a few irregular beats, Hell’s Highway is an exciting, intense shooter that is sure to quicken your pulse.

There are a number of multiplayer maps as well, and each supports up to 20 combatants. Two teams face off in successive standard capture-the-territory contests, respawning only at the beginning of each round.

The twist is that each squad member has a certain role, from squad leader to weapons specialist to tank operator. Squad leaders can call in aerial recon, while weapon specialists travel with protective squads and deal their own unique brand of destruction.

Well populated matches are lively and intense, as fully-manned teams work together to stay alive, back each other up, and thwart their opponents. Add in a vocal squad leader, and there is ample potential for exciting battles.

However, there are still plenty of lone wolves roaming about, and whether players will fully embrace the squad mentality remains to be seen. What is certain now is that Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway is another rousing entry in a great series.

The beautiful landscapes complement the gritty combat, and thoughtful cinematic techniques breathe life into the engaging characters. Despite the somewhat spotty story and sundry oddities, Hell’s Highway is a game you should consider playing twice.

The unlockable “authentic” difficulty mode removes all the heads-up display elements and really allows the visual design to shine. The story resonates more powerfully because you know the characters well, and the renewed challenge ratchets up the intensity.

With so many exciting elements, Hell’s Highway provides ample motivation to don the Allied uniform once more.

If you have played the original Brothers in Arms game, then this game has made many improvements. Only suggestion for GearBox is that they could have used the sergeant Mac character more in Hells Highway as he was a great video game character in The Road to Hill 30.

I have to say this first: Hells Highway is not your average FPS title. There is no running and gunning, no fast match killing spree action. The gameplay is more realistic than most people prefer. It requires constant use of squads to suppress, flank, and assault.

You cannot win WWII by yourself. The game has a tremendous and often times emotional story, much like band of brothers. In comparison to another recent WWII title, Call of Duty 5: World at War, Hells Highway is a different animal all together.

While certain areas and maps will seem familiar, “Operation: Market Garden”; you will be playing from a entirely different perspective, so don’t assume you will be playing a re-hashed WWII experience you have already done, this is entirely different.

I must admit i was first frustrated with the gameplay, not being like your standard FPS shooters. Call of Duty series, Halo, Crysis, FarCry, etc. etc. this game demands strategic thought and coordination amongst your fire teams.

I will admit my frustration died away after I learned the system and the game became highly addictive to me, as I would imagine any fan of “realistic” WWII strategy/shooter fans might also be. If you like a hybrid game with parts shooter and parts squad strategy then this is worth checking out.

The price is very reasonable, and while it runs on a unreal engine, it does look top notch easily comparing to the newer Call of Duty series in graphic details and looks. The AI is ok, enemies can try to flank and suppress you but don’t expect huge challenges here.

Many of the missions seem to have good re-playability especially when adjusting the difficulty settings. Vehicle combat is very good, mainly you driving a tank around blowing up nazis. While not “vehicle heavy” the game still has good tank maps and it does seem realistic to the time period.

All in all as a WWII shooter and strategy fan I rate this game very high in most areas. Sound is ok, music score is very strong, realism level is higher here than in other similar themed games. Grenade spamming is not a real option here, neither is lone dogging maps.

The characters are memorable and the story is well designed and tells a compelling story of soldiers during a intensive WWII engagement. The maps are pretty well built for a linear style game and most action sequences are enjoyable.

There are moments where it has “bullet time” slow motion sequences activated during a particular acurate bullet shot or explosion. It adds a cinematic quality to the game that made me smile every time.

The ragdoll physics were well appreciated and the story is built so that any customer and jump right in without being familiar with the franchise and previous titles. All in all, i rate this game very high despite my troubled start.

Once i overcame my pre-conceived notions of what a WWII shooter is, I really got engaged in this game and had to finish it. I have extensive experience in war FPS like the battlefield series 1942 anthology, Call of Duty 2-5, Soldier of Fortune 1 & 2 (not 3), Half Life 1&2, Unreal tournament 1997-unreal III, Bioshock, Battlefield 2, 2142, Star wars battlefront 1-2, SW Republic Commando, Jedi Knight 1&2, Battlefield Vietnam, and many others.

AI Gameplay brilliance with Super graphic design visuals that cannot be imagined. To play BF2142 you will need an XP sp2 or sp3 32 bit PC system and play is offline only but with mods that allow access to 64 player maps and another combined mod that gives all unlocked weapons.

An edited file using notepad can be altered to allow for over 64 player bots with upgraded AI. Specific files have to be present in the User/Documents/BF2142 folder to log in because there are no online servers to log into.

Offline only. For it’s time, this game offered PC gamers one of the best offline gaming experiences that the Publishers\Coders EA Games\Dice ever produced; The other, being BF2 that was modded with the excellent mod AIX 2.

0 with all the additional big maps and weapons, vehicles, jets, copters plus IA bots for a true battlefield skirmish. Flag capturing on a massive scale in both these unforgettable gems was treasured by a large forum community.

Sadly, support from the makers dried up, not before they were sacrificed to the xbox and ps4 to be consolized with BF3/4 and then forgotten.

I love the Battlefield franchise, I use to hate it because it made no sense when I first played it on the PS2 back in the early 2000’s. Fast forward a few years later and I reluctantly downloaded a demo of Battlefield Bad Company on the PS3 and after months of urging from my friends I played it, I was instantly hooked! After playing a few more games from the franchise on the consoles, I decided to come back to PC gaming and in doing so I found that their were Battlefield games that I have not played.

So I ventured into Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142, BF2 is an amazing game and the mods are endless, BF2142 is a good game as well, but I felt they might have rushed it a bit. I felt this might have been intended for an expansion for BF2, but at the last minute they made it a stand alone title.

The navigation of the menus are buggy at best, theirs is not a lot of customization or options like BF2 and the home screen were you have to log in before you can play online or offline really kills this title because the servers don’t work anymore, thankfully I found a work around for this.

My other issue was the fact that you were given sub par maps and only 5 or 6, BF2 had a pretty decent size map selection right off bat. I tried to play online however the servers at Game Spy were discontinued indefinitely which left me disappointed that I couldn’t and will never get to try out the famous online Titan mode or ever level up to better weapons and equipment because these features are not available for offline/single player mode.

I think EA should have made these features and modes available online and offline as well, if they wanted to separate your achievements then so be it, but it would have given this game more life down the road, such as games like the Call of Duty series.

The pros are the single player game plays some what like online, the weapons and vehicles are unique, I heard their are mods for the single player game like custom maps, etc. , but I couldn’t get them to work, I’ll keep researching.

Another cool feature is local play and private servers, so if you have few friends who like to get together and have a LAN party, your golden. This game had a lot of potential, but it needs some polishing up, I only hope that EA does a remake of this game as an expansion using the Frost Bite 3 or 4 engine or adds the features from this game with improvements to Star Wars Battle Front 3.

bought the PC version of the game, digital, but this is completely not downloadable, even when it shows as ready to download in the digital library. Customer service completely useless. After spending 2 hours online, they say the game is not refundable because it’s a downloadable version.

I said to the guy: then make sure you have the technical competency, which they don’t have. Totally ridiculous. I am serious: I have made a resolution to NEVER BUY from bestbuy. They should seriously change their name to worstbuy.

and I am going to short their stock, because companies like this will NOT last, especially if you compare their customer service to say Amazon. Totally NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Tom Clancy games. Vegas 1 and 2 are both Great games and so are all other shooters that Ubisoft produces. A person could easily invest a large portion of their life to this series. they are that well made.

The A. I. are tough to compete with and do not follow a set script but adapt to your actions. Making the hours fly by as you attempt to fight terrorism effectively. or is a classic, and should be owned by any true battle tested and hardened gamer who enjoys a test of skill as you work through your targets and the games storyline and 1 player game modes.

The graphics are ahead of their time and are an excellent and refreshing addition to a already great gaming series. What can l say except l highly recommend this Tom Clancy Masterpiece. The challenge awaits you, so get yours today- and stay “Frosty” Highly recommend.

EBay is a fine way to obtain your own personal copy which you will never regret purchasing, and do not Also forget to get Tom Clancy Vegas the game that leads you into Vegas 2. They both are very well made games, and just watch the hours of your life just melt away as you Get engrossed into the gameplay.

The retnas of your eyes will simply be destroyed before you are tired of playing these games of Rainbow 6 Vegas by Tom Clancy ! This disk is actually being bought as a backup in case of any unforeseen damage that may occur to my original.

l simply could not sleep easy not knowing l have a backup to both Vegas series games. That’s how good these games both are. lts as simple as that. 10 out of 10 rating !.

As with the first, the controls are a bit odd, at least compared to a lot of other games. Most notably the seeming counter-intuitive press versus hold actions of Y, X, RB, and the LT cover actions. And realistic seems more difficult, especially in terrorist hunt, given the odd/inconsistent behaviors and/or sudden spawning of the AI at times.

But compared to the first, a lot of nice things so far. Not only can you put your head on a character for multiplayer (via the xbox live camera) but that is also what’s used in the regular game. Also in the regular game is experience.

That is very nice. The achievements are a mixed bag. Some are basically gimmes that require no effort (5 silenced headshots) others are silly (1000 kills in multiplayer with at least 6 people playing) and/or would probably require boosting (5 consecutive kills without dying and without respawns).

I’m imagining there’s still people playing it, but what about in a year or two? A lot of games suffer from this problem. Especially music games. But that doesn’t excuse it! *wink* All in all, if you liked the first game, you’ll like this one, and if you hated the first one, you’ll hate this too.

Although it does look nicer, I think, it’s got the same feel to it; the slightly wooden other characters, the at times incredibly stupid and annoying teammates, enemies that are made “more realistic” by making them behave randomly and bizarrely.

But not exactly “just more of the same”.

First of all I will say I played this first on the 360 and loved it, So I had to have on the ps3 to check out the game & on-line play. If you liked the first game, you’ll definitely like the second. The core premise of the R6 Vegas games is relatively short, but white-hot gunfights in various locations.

These can take place in large, open areas with lots of running; or strategic, carefully planned room takedowns where you have to worry about hostages. The AI is generally smart (and improved over the last game) and will flank you, or try to hide in dark corners.

They will pop smoke grenades, use covering fire techniques, “leapfrog”, and generally try to use wits as much as firepower. The locations of the game are also varied. You might have to sneak around a huge refinery, or you might have to escape a skyscraper before it blows up.

It is a carefully plotted game, and very exciting, much like an action movie. I also like how you can play through Single-Player (or Co-Op) to gain XP, which can be used Online as well. CoD4 had a similar system, but XP was only gained for ranks, and could only be gained online.

If you like challenging, tactical shooters, you will no doubt like this game. It’s not run-and-gun like Halo, and it is definitely a very hard game (two shots and you’re dead, and the bad guys are very accurate!) There are also a few minor bugs here and there, but definitely nothing game-breaking.

While the graphics could have used a little more polish, and Ubisoft could have anticipated the demand for online play a little better, it’s still a solid release, and might even take Call of Duty 4 out of your disc drive.

Oldies two years ago and have been using them for all my gaming needs since. Everything is cheap and comes in near perfect condition every single time. If you ever have any problems they are quick to help you and find a solution to solving the problem! You even earn points towards free stuff as you shop which i think is pretty cool! I definitely recommend them for all your gaming needs.

IšverstiShow in original languageAmazing game. Although the multiplayer is pretty difficult for me, (I’m a noob) I enjoyed it very much. Spec Ops is a great co-operative mode to play with friends and can get intensely joyful.

The campaign is the best part about this work of art. It offers relatable characters, a surprising plot, fun and unrepetitive missions and an addictive bonus level. The only parts I disliked about this game was the Rio missions and some of the crappy maps.

Other than that, this is a 95% masterpiece.

IšverstiShow in original languageModern Warfare 2 wasn’t just my first Call of Duty. It was my first FPS, first R-rated game, first multiplayer experience. I played the ‘Cliffhanger’ demo endlessly to perfection before finally getting myself a copy.

The multiplayer has aged significantly but for it’s time it was second to none! The maps remain iconic classics and many memories were made. It’s a shame you’ll never find a game anymore. Spec Ops was fresh and exciting! A challenge only enjoyed by a few but a fun experience for me and my mates.

The campaign is what will keep you coming back. Pure adrenaline, fantastic setpieces, a story that grips you and keeps you coming back. Riding a snowmobile down a mountain, running through the streets of a heavily populated city avoiding civilians in pursuit of your target, fighting through an airplane graveyard of waring factions, skipping No Russian because you’re a wholesome lad.

Not to mention moments that made men and boys cry, “No more loose ends. “, “History is written by the victors”. “This is the message”. Cheesy yet serious writing. A short masterpiece of a campaign. Modern Warfare 3 either improved or destroyed everything this game helped build (personally MW3 is my fav) but you cannot deny that THIS game is LEGENDARY! COD4 Modern Warfare may had revolutionized the first-person-shooter genre, but MW2 perfected so much of what we are still enjoying to this day.

If the money hungry people at Activision were to announce a campaign only remaster, I for one would not be disappointed. Most importantly, you could play this for the first time today and it holds up like few games can.

How can you hate the game? are you mad? iconic. more trick shots, no scopes, throwing knives, dropshots the whole lot. multiplayer is insane campaign and a trilogy of modern warefare 2 and modern warefare 1.

Would recommend playing these campaigns before playing modern warefare 3 campaign. The game is so addictive and the class possibilities are endless. Yes it is a rage inducing game and a screaming game, so you have been warned but with friends you can have an amazing time playing laughing screaming and getting hyped to the point mum and dad tell you to keep it down.

People have memories with this game and can tell you how fun it was running back from achool and spending time playing it. forever a game to be honoured, replayed and laugh about. This game is available on PC, XBOX 360, PS3, PS4, XBOX ONE.

There is always one big flaw in this series… that’s right you guessed it. They make a new COD game every 3 months or so. I was so looking fwd to this game, especially after COD MW2 got hacked and the hackers killed the fun! The creators just gave up on it cuz they had more COD games coming out.

The two player mode to complete the missions was awesome. I loved playing with a buddy trying to beat the CPU on difficult settings. Man those Juggernauts were a PAIN to get passed. Alas, this game was also hacked in its future and abandoned by its creators.

All that is left are the memories of Online play.

It came with everything it was supposed to, and everything was of amazing quality. The game disc worked perfectly, the box was in good condition, the little journal was perfect and super interesting (one of my favorite parts of the product), and there were lots of neat little stickers included too.

The slide-on box cover was a little worn, but it still fits over the big box, and it works well if you’re just displaying the box. Overall, an almost perfect product for a really great price.
