20 Best Shoes For Waiting Tables (2023 Updated)

I bought these to work a catering event that required skid free dress shoes. Price wise they seemed great. Real leather, non skid, gel lining, seemed like they were made just for the occasion I needed them for.

They ended up being very disappointing though and I knew I’d never be able to work in them. They’re too flat, the gel layer is very thin and after one day couldn’t even feel it any more. They’re also tight around the top of my feet.

I tried wearing them to break them in before the night, but no luck. They are leather though, so I’m still trying to make them work. Hoping the elastic on the top will stretch enough to stop hurting and also be able to fit my own inserts in.

i never go out of my way to write reviews, but i love these too much NOT to leave an amazing review. these are such a cute alternative to the doctors office clunky rubber clog work shoe that iw as scared i would have to get; they look like leather toms and i get so many compliments not hem.

not only do they fit perfectly, but they keep their shape over time and even maintain the fluffiness of the memory foam inserts (there are 2 for added support and customizable fit). aside from that aspect, THESE ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES.

if you work in retail or the like, you know the end of the day pain that makes you want to chop your legs off. i never thought i would find a pair of shoes that i was able to stand for 8+ hours in, but thee have answered all of my prayers.

Ive had them for about 6 months now and literally the only complaint i have is that these suckers trap foot smell in like no other, so definitely invest in some no show socks, and keep rubbing alcohol and baking powder on hand to freshen them up every couple weeks.

for 30$, Ill probably get a couple more pairs because i wear them so often and my feet can’t imagine another 8 hour shift without them. seriously. buy them.

I love these shoes!!!! This is my second pair. I had the first pair a full year. They didn’t even look that bad after that long waiting tables 4-5 days a week. The shoes held up great. Comfort level is definitely high on the scale.

If comfort is the only feature you are seeking, an actual non-slip sneaker would probably be a bit more comfortable for long days. I was looking for a more sleek and streamlined design. I wear skirts to work fairly often and wanted something that could be dressed up a little or go with Capri length pants as well.

These shoes fit the bill perfectly. A fabulous value at only $35.

I bought this shoe hoping it would be a comfortable work shoe specially with the inserts. That was not the case with these shoes. I feet immediately started hurting. The width and size were correct. These even hurt my feet when I was sitting at my desk.

I took out the inserts hoping this would help. Not really. Without the inserts they are just too big and my feet slip around in them. I ended up returning them.

I was in the market for a comfy pair of clogs for clinical rotations, and these seemed to have good reviews. I am usually a size 5, and I’ve never considered my feet “Narrow” nor have I purchased “Narrow” sizing before.

So I got a 5 Medium. The fit is a little weird, to be honest. I agree with another reviewer below that said the heel kinda just comes off easily. The front part squishes down quite a bit, and then the heel is gaping and wide, so it seems like a design flaw rather than a sizing issue.

Because of the weird design, even if I try to wear super-thick socks, the heel STILL slips off and the front becomes unbearably tight!! I’m sure people’s feet are all slightly different-shaped, so this may be working for others! I will say that the bottom is very grippy, and it seems quite easy to clean.

My husband wears these types of shoes at his medical practice because it can be easily wiped down if it gets dirty/germy but he’s always worn a different brand that’s over $100. These are as good if not better than the expensive pair quality-wise but they are a tad heavier in his opinion.

Because they’re made in the US, I’m certain they’ll hold up well and proud to support US companies.

my third pair of statesman shoes already. tried different shoes, also other shoes for crews models, but this model is really by far the best in quality and comfort. maybe a bit mor expensive then other models, but for me they last for at least one year.

I put a lot of miles on these, they look great. Everytime within a month or two they start to lose a seam or something but every pair of these 45 have eventually let water into the shoe.

I have worn Sanita clogs for 15 years and have consistently worn a 39. I originally ordered the Bordeaux riot in my usual size and the clogs were WAY TOO SMALL! The clogs were short, and the instep was very shallow.

I could get my foot in the clog, but the instep was tight. To be noted: I have a narrow foot and low instep, so anyone who has a medium width foot and “normal” instep probably wouldn’t even be able to get their foot in the shoe.

I returned the 39s, and reordered the clog in a 40 and it fits great. The shoe itself is very pretty… shiny but not overly shiny. Looks good with a variety of clothes. Just remember to SIZE UP!.

I’ve had Sanitas for years. This finish cracked the first time I wore them. Now, over the past weeks are peeling and look terrible. The comfort is as expected from Sanita- but this pink patent leather has terrible wear.

I will never buy another pair with this finish.

As pretty as there are they run very large. This is my second 43 and these just run way bigger and the toe box is very wide. I needed a wide toe box but this one was too big. My foot on the sides were hurting eventhough i had on thick socks and foot jellies the shoe still bothers me.

My favorite pair of shoes EVER. That brings me to why I came to your web site, I gave myCrocs to my son-in-law in Mexico and told him I would buy him and myself a new pair. Now for my problem, your very nice people on the telephone did not seem to be very knowledgeable about their product.

I tried two different sales persons, both very friendly and polite, but not very knowledgable of your product line. I was not able to purchase the same pair again, probably because you no longer make that model.

While I really love my new ones, they don’t compare with my older pair. The slip resistant sole is different and seems to be hard on carpet in our home. They are also very squeaky. I want my old ones back.

Having worn Crocs since they were first manufactured, this makes my 7th and 8th pairs. While I haven’t worn them for years, my lined Crocs that I wear as houseslippers are beyond comfortable as I remember Crocs being.

I have narrow feet and high arches and am on my feet most of the day, and Crocs are comfortable if I’m not out in my Salmon hiking shoes. The Coastal (Mossy Oak Coastal) clogs I also ordered were great and I have them on now and walked in them last night for half an hour on wet sidewalks last night—completely comfortable, rugged and soft as I remember–durable, too! Put on the Bistro Pro LiteRides today and couldn’t believe it.

I wore them down the hall and immediately took them off. They are super hard, there is no arch support, and no cushioning whatsoever. They feel uncomfortable and rigid, whereas the other Crocs I’ve worn feel fabulous.

Too bad. Will be returning. I’m used to super support with my Salomons and Crocs, and will be wearing my Crocs for restoraitive shoes mostly, and obviously the Coastal is great for walking outside, too.

At first I loved my new shoes had them since August already broke into them. Nice and comfortable underneath and stops me from slipping on oil water and slippery tiles. I can walk faster in them to Great news.

But Unfortunately it rubs aggressively on the side and it has left a huge bump plus a small spot on the inside on my foot against the bone, I now will have to make a doctors appointment soon or a future one if the bump gets worse.

As it really attacked my foot on the right side and now I find it hard to stand up. I understand getting use to them working in them nice and comfortable to start with until it left a bruising above my foot really painful I will look for other shoes on here that doesn’t have rubbing effects on the side.

But great for now just disappointed on how it left a huge bump on the top of my foot!.

The shoes were too narrow at the toes. As there was plenty of room lengthways there would have been no point in ordering a bigger size, so I had to return them. As these are workwear, it’s expected that they will be worn for 8 or 9 hour shifts (plus time spent travelling to and from work) so shoes need to fit well and be comfortable for all that time.

Why do you not offer different width fittings?.

Quite pleased with these shoes. They are nice soft leather. Can be polished to keep them clean. Water resistant. All the qualities of the Old School Low Rider shoes. I did have to go up a size for fit.

Quite good insoles inside. Can you get replacement insoles like you used to Good soles which can be cleaned that come with Special Tool provided with shoes. Slip Resistant.

I got m Klogs Naples Slip Resistant Tooled Work Clog’s for work and really glad I did they have been very comfortable to wear at work I wear them 9 to 10 hours a day and on all kinds of floors wet, dry, slippery and never once have I slipped in these shoes.

I recommend them to any one that works in the restaurant industry. Or any place where you have to stand all all. They do not leave your feet or legs feeling tired at the end of the day.

I am a grocery store checker so I mostly stand on my feet in one place 8 hrs/day. Bought these to replace my Dansko Professional Clogs. I like the Danskos even though they are a bit heavy and my heel slips out of them, which I was told is the way they are to be worn.

With that said, I decided not to get Danskos this time because I wanted a bright color option which Dansko doesn’t offer and I read good reviews elsewhere about this specific Klogs style. I always wear a 6 so ordered online and was surprised that there is still 1/2″ of room at the toes when I wear medium thick socks (not sure if they are supposed to be like that).

Toe box is roomy but someone with a very narrow foot may feel there is too much room. Other reviews implied the clogs are form fitting but my heel slips out 3/8″ when i walk Not an issue for me due to being used to that with Danskos but this may feel odd to some people.

The shoe has nice foam support inside unlike Danskos. The color is as bright and cheery as the photo shows. Although the shoes are cute, I get lots of compliments, and I’ll be keeping them, they just aren’t as comfortable as I expected.

My feet feel fatigued after standing 8 hrs straight. These shoes might be better for people who are on their feet AND do a lot of walking around. I have no foot issues such as bunions, corns, or low arches.

I am a server, and I have never found footwear that is this comfortable! No breaking in period, they have been amazing from day one. No more aching legs, back or feet at the end of a long shift. I would buy these over and over, the best investment ever if you are on your feet for long stretches!.

This is my second pair of easy works by easy street and I love them! They are comfortable which is paramount to me! They are oil resistant and easy to clean. I love the fact that they give me a good amount of height without sacrificing any comfort at all! A very supportive work shoe for us hard working techs, nurses, aids etc!!!.

I was excited to get these shoes, yet found that for me, who generally wears flats and sneakers, there were two essential projects: 1. ) The height of the heel was ridiculously high (the photo provided does not do justice to the true height of these shoes.

) 2. ) the angle from the height of the heel to the foot pad had my muscles twinging when I just walked 4 feet in them. They may be great for you if you where heels. If you prefer flats, the may not be your kind of ice cream.

I like this brand of shoe but they greatly vary in fit among the different patterns. This one works. Normally I try a wide first in any shoe if available, but this one fits in a medium with no problem.

It is a bit tight on the top, but that loosens quickly and is comfortable thereafter. The pattern is very cute; the silver is metallic and gives a bit of shine. The shoe blends with most of my winter outfits.

I have plantar fasciitis and have a hard time finding something that I can wear all day no matter where I walk. This shoe does not meet that threshold. Don’t misunderstand, it is comfortable but perhaps not for those of us with this ailment.

I can wear them on a date night, but not shopping. I can wear them to work, but not for a long walk. I tried this shoe in a wide in another color so that I could insert my orthotic, but the shoe was too big.

Unfortunately the stores do not carry the wide so I would have to purchase multiple pairs to see if any other size in this exact pattern would accommodate. DSW is great about returns, but I feel the limited use meets my needs.

I need comfortable shoes due to an issue I have in my right foot. I often put a special pad in my shoes, but these do not need it. The removable insert in these slip-ons is extremely effective. It is not flimsy; but rather like the orthotics I buy.

The shoe is still wide enough and the rounded toe provides room for toes to move. Normally unable to wear heels, these are really an illusion as my foot is quite flat despite the heel and platform. The flowers are cute and allows these shoes to go with many outfits.

I loved them so much I ordered a different pattern.

Bought this as I started a new job this summer. WAY cheaper than brand name clogs/Dansko etc. Really comfy and I think antibacterial as well (according to the description). I usually wear a size 8. 5 and I ended up getting these in a 9 and even the 9 seemed a little snug but kept them anyway.

For future buyers, maybe go up a FULL size so you can wear with thick socks etc. The flower design gives an understated yet feminine vibe without being overly flashy. Perfect for medical professionals.

Can walk and stand on it for hours with no problem. Highly recommend!.

I wear crocks around the house as one would wear slippers, I thought I would try these because having no side ports they’d be okay to wear outside in wet grass. Having a deeper footbed and harder sole they do seem designed for wearing outside the house but the footbed feels less contoured than the classic Croc and harder and lower in the heel.

I’m going to see if I can get an orthotic insert to lift my heel. Not sure I’ll buy these again but if I was a younger the flatter and firmer footbed wouldn’t be an issue. They are much more of a street clog, fit more securely with the heel strap than the classic and are true to size.

The toe has a square flat look like the old Birkenstock clogs, not as elfin like in appearance as the classic.

Many of us cannot wear open heels at work, it is prohibited. Please please help those of us that need your low profile crocs comfort and listen to me! I have tried other crocs knockoffs and although they are closed heel, and they put the airflow holes, they are narrow and not comfy or durable like crocs! Please give us comfort at work! Most of the reviews have pointed this out to you, when will you submit? Maybe i will start a shoe company for all these people waiting to buy comfy work shoes! 😁 other than this, crocs are the only shoe i can wear without pain.

You have a style – i forget the name, with somewhat of a closed heel and a few airflow vents that i can get away with at work, but i would much rather have these.

I have multiple mechanical issues with my feet as a result of a long-standing autoimmune disorder. Consequently, my feet always hurt and shoes represent a frustrating daily challenge. I bought these in the hope of using them for gardening shoes and general outdoor chores.

Well. not only are these great in wet conditions, I can work in them longer than any other shoe I currently own AND not feel like my feet have been completely savaged afterwards. The thicker sole and roomy toe box make a world of difference to me, and the pattern is cheering in its own right.

Would I wear them on a night out? Of course not. In their place though, these shoes are very hard to beat.

I purchased this shoe in the black patent with the “coffee” print. It is comfortable, stylish, and goes with so many things in my wardrobe! Order true to size, unless you plan to wear with socks – then definitely order up a half-size.

The (strong) velcro strap makes adjusting the width a breeze. I have never seen such a cute print on shoes – various coffee cups/mugs and coffee words. The reds and oranges really pop against the black patent.

This show is very comfortable! I don’t know about the person that left the first review because there are NO laces to this shoe. It is a Velcro strap and it stays. The Velcro is very strong. When you walk in these shoes you feel a bounce so it absorbs the shock.

I own 2 pair of these and they are great!.

I am glad I took a chance on this shoe. The extra wide is, yeah, and it is comfortable in all ways. The photos make it look more fantastic plastic than real life. It’s not leather or pleather, sure, but the shoe is more composed than the pictures.

I badly needed new shoes and bought these with out reading the reviews. The quality is really bad the first thing you notice is that they are not black and look kind of grayish. They’re wearing down very quickly in only a months use.

The soles seems to have sunk in and make walking uncomfortable. They are also starting to crack and seperate. These were a complete waste of money. Before these I had high too converse thar I used daily and lasted almost 2 years.

I purchased these for work. I needed slip resistant shoes with a bit of ankle support. This pair seemed to be a perfect choice. They felt good when I tried them on at home, but the true test would be at work.

These were not comfortable at all! After the first couple of hours, my feet and legs were so achy! The support was almost nonexistent. Of course, I couldn’t return them since I’d work them to work and they got dirty, so I’ll probably just donate them.

These are cute, but not if you will be on your feet all day!.

These shoes are for my son who has to deal with lots of growth pain as well as hypermobility issues. Thick orthotics, heel and knee inflammation as well as an unstable ankle, are massive obstacles for us when buying shoes.

These Fila shoes are able to ease all those problems which is absolutely amazing. My son can run and play football and we have long walks now as well. They also look very cool and we have two pairs, black and white to go with everything.

The sale price was a massive help as I have to buy new shoes every three months to fit perfectly. The only downside is that the fabric inside around the heels wears off quite quickly. Still, not such a big issue considering how happy my son is wearing them.

an easy to get on and off shoe fitted my size twelve no problem very comfortable and pretty non slip, great grip walking, much better than the strap at the heel type clogs. a great improvement at last a pair of clogs that stay on without straps THANK YOU.

Expected the shoe to be more comfortable when working 12 hour shifts. My legs were really tired & uncomfortable throughout my working hours. Would not rate this product.

Comfortable shoes worth the money

Best shoes for being on your feet extended amount of time. I have the exact same pair that I’ve worn for 3 yrs. Very comfortable and the leather is soft. Would like to try other kinds of Klogs but I’m afraid they wouldn’t fit as good as these do.

I bought these shoes praying they will help my aching feet. I work 12 hours shifts four days a week in the OR. I had been wearing the Croc Work clog. I found that after a short time the bottom of my toes were starting to hurt along with my heel.

I found these Klogs and decided to give them a try. I am so GLAD I did. They provide great arch support which helps balance out weight distribution. They aren’t as hard as the other very popular work clog.

All in all I am very pleased with my purchase.

I use these for work as a waiter. I’ve only had them a month, but they are comfy, fashionable, and I really can tell a difference with the slip-resistant soles when the kitchen floor is wet. Definitely better than my old shoes and would recommend.

Hopefully they will hold up for a while.

Brought these for back to work shoes. I’m on my feet pretty much all day, so I thought I’d invest. They an okay work shoe, they definitely aren’t the comfiest shoe as my feet we’re killing me after a shift.

They’re definitely slip resistant as I had to walk through an oil spill. But they’re hard to clean. either way their okay for the price.

I actually use them as slippers at home, I love how they feel. Worked with them for a bit too, good for shotr shifts. If your shifts arent too long I would recommend these, however if youre standing for long long hours Id advice birckenstocks.

I have been looking for supportive shoes to wear with business casual clothes. I have also been having a lot of planter fasciitis pain, so I tried these. I ordered an 11 wide and I was so pleased that they fit! Sometimes wide shoes are not even wide enough for my feet but these are and they are very supportive and comfortable! I will be buying another pair for work when these wear out.

I have a good sized bunion. If I got shoes that were comfortable, there was NO support. If I got support, the misery of breaking them in was at least a three month process and they never really felt like these shoes felt.

I am also a full figured woman who works on her feet for ten to twelve hours ,moving the entire time. I will be reordering again, and see many future purchases. These shoes feel like they were made for me!!!.

Good shoes, but unfortunately rubs one of my big toes raw so I cant wear them and as there is nothing actually wrong with them I cant send them back. Ive started wearing their trainer style ones instead which are more comfortable with a slightly wider and softer toe, and are cheaper.

Whatever you buy, wear them at home for a few hours to make sure they suit you I didnt.

They are smart and non slip so my son, who is constantly running about, looks smart and stays safe. The fit is good but make sure you CHECK the size chart before buying as they tend to display US sizes not UK sizes.

So if you are a size 10 buy a 10. 5 etc.

I love, love, love these. They are good looking for wearing with dresses, so comfortable and have non slip soles. I have worn SAss shoes in the past, but gave up wearing them after slipping on the regular soles.

These work wonderfully. I have a narrow and very long foot with practically no arch. My ankle was swelling after wearing a similar Mary Jane style dress shoe. But with these, no ankle swelling. If I could change two things about these shoes, I would include more holes in the buckle strap for those of us with narrow feet.

I would also really live a square toed Mary Jane. The toe box is roomy enough, but when you have size 11 feet, you don’t want them any longer than neccesary. The style is a bit more 80’s pointy toe than I would like.

I really appreciated the comfort and support this shoe provided. I like how it stayed on my foot and that there was a velcro strap to help with that. I had been told it felt like a cloud and it really was that comfortable.

However, my feet are an odd size and even though it fit in length wise and it didn’t slip off my heel it pinched my toes on the side. I would say that is user error more that the shoe error.

Wore these shoes when I had to do a lot of walking. Comfort. New shoes that feel good the first time worn. Bending over to do the buckles is the only thing that I am trying to get used to. My other shoes did not have them.

These are the second pair of Slip Stop 911’s I’ve purchased and I couldn’t be happier! I started using these about 5 years ago when I had to do alot of walking on cold, concrete soundstage floors. 10-15 hour days were easier with the Slip Stop.

They’re roomy enough to accommodate custom orthotics and heavier wool hiking socks on cold days. Because they’re easily polished, I’ve even worn these with a suit outside of work. Thanks for a wonderful product!.

I am a driver and wear these shoes at least 12 hours a day. These shoes are part of Company list of approved uniform items offered thru our uniform company. I was skeptical at first, thinking the shoes are cheap, uncomfortable and won’t last.

But heck, they are free with yearly clothing allowance. So in August 2014, I ordered a pair and I was 100% wrong with my initial thoughts. The shoes are very comfortable, durable and easy to clean. A month later I ordered a second pair for back-up.

Here it is a year later and have to spend my money. So yes, I am ordering a third pair. Just about ready to retire 1st pair and crack open box on second pair. Love these shoes, but! There are 2 minor issues that could be changed.

The shoe laces leave something to be desired, they wear out quick. So I replaced with laces with top quality leather laces. 2nd, the shoe sole inserts are very thin and lack support. I replaced with a quality support insoles.

So, YES buy these shoes you won’t regret it.

I Started buying these rocky shoes in a Police equipment store. They were recommended to me through the store. I walk a lot and it fits my job cause I had to wear a certain shoe. I wore one pair for 2 years before they started to go down at the heal.

Very comfortable and soft. Yet strong and firm. I never went to another work shoe again. Also I have worn them to parties. The shoes are work standard for me and yet dressy for parties. I recently got my 2 pairs of rockies on line because the store stopped selling them.

I would recommend they to all who walk a lot. and want comfy. 5 star for me. This is my opinion.
