20 Best Shoes For Usps Workers (2023 Updated)

I bought these about a year ago. I do fire inspections and I’m not on construction sites or that type of thing but I’m in heavy manufacturing plants and those kinds of places so I’m required to wear steel toe.

These never got a drop of water on them or muddy and within 6 months of just walking in them, they both split on the top outsides where the steel toe would meet the material. For what I do, I get a minimum of 2 years from a sub-$100 pair of work boots so I’m a bit disappointed.

They ARE comfortable to walk in, to be fair and had no/minimal “break in” period. But when they’re split, its considered faulty PPE so I can’t use them for work.

My sons a senior in high school and since he would be needing a nice pair of shoes I got these. (Thankfully he’s not picky). He opened the box and really liked them. They did fit a little big so now I have to get him some thick socks but he still loves them.

I loved the low key look of these shoes, black soles and light weight. They are a mix of leather and man made materials (isn’t everything anymore?). The sales clerk assured me I needed these in wide although I always wear medium or narrow.

She wasn’t accurate in that statement and I was a fool to follow her guidance, and wore them to work 1 day which makes them un returnable. My wife believes I should give them a chance to “break in”, so I’m hopeful but skeptical.

I’ve wanted a pair of brown shoes for a while, and I like Oxfords. About 2 years ago I bought a pair of Deer Stags boots and I really like them so I decided to buy these. I ordered on line and picked them up in the store.

I tried them on before I accepted them, and the fit was perfect. The first few days I wore them I was working on a project where I was on my feet most of the time. These shoes were great! They are very comfortable, and I experienced no sore feet or back ache.

I highly recommend them.

Its the true best shoe I got from else very soft fits great but I will let you know how long it will last for the price I paid I fill the the price is a little high like I said I will see how long it holds up in my line a work has a crossing guard for the Police Dept on my feet all the time and in rain and heat.

I did call to get another pair but you are out of stock. Please try to get some more and try to lower the cost some what I work for the Government to make it safe 100% for our kids in Schools.

I can’t use these daily. Too puffy of a tongue. Also seems to be missing a lacing eye (by design). No matter how I adjust the laces, it’s too tight at the top and too loose at the bottom. They work great as a spare if you only need occasional waterproof boots.

But if you need daily waterproof boots, make sure to try these around the house for a couple days, or get something else.

They are comfortable but maybe because it’s summer and material is black, they are very hot and my feet get super sweaty and hot. I was hoping for a better outcome since my brother in-law recommended these boots.

I have been wearing Rocky shoes in this style for over 10 years and they are awesome. Supposedly the shoes were in stock but took almost a month to ship/receive. I’m sure part of it was due to the holiday season and covid but somehow when I order stuff from Amazon it’s still arrives promptly.

Over the years the design of the shoelaces has changed and they are now terrible. They stay tied for about 5 minutes before they untie themselves because the shoelace material is so slick. If the shoelaces were longer, I could double knot the bows but the shoelaces are very short.

If not for the shoelaces, I would have posted five stars in the review.

I have been wearing rocky boots for 30 years. I have been happy the first 20 years, but the last 10 have not been so great. Yes, the soles last a lifetime. The innner shoe and leather wear out now wear out very fast.

I used to order shoes every 9 months to a year. Now i have to get new shoes every 5 months. This last purchase has me wondering if i should switch to red wings. I paid $170 for shoes on December 22 and they were delivered on January 19.

That is nearly a month!!!! It used to take 2 days. I understand all the covid and employee issues. I still expect better from a company I have been doing business with for 30 years. Please get back to when you made a quality shoe and customer service was a priority.

My 1st pair were awesome. Walking 13-20+ miles a day I literally walked the soles off. 2nd pair only 10days. I must say Rocky Co was really great about it and contacted me to return for a new pair. Just got the new ones and will let you all know how it goes.

I really want to thank everyone at Rocky for their help and easy return. I really loved my 1st pair and would never send them back even though I walked the soles right off. They have amazing year warranty on their products which is a refreshing change! Even though my 1st pair didn’t last quite a yr, well worth the money spent.

Also all I do is walk all day long, 8-10hrs+. I really wish they had had winter high top boots that are insulated, waterproof and built for our harsh cold winters. They are comfortable awesome leather boots.

I am a city carrier for the United States Post Office and I just can’t say enough about them!.

Bought this boot to wear for 9 + hours on concrete floors for food service. Conditions include chemicals, water and grease on the floor. So far boots seem to be working well. Have only used them a short time so will hold final judgement until after several months of wearing though.

For reference, most heavy duty work boots last about a year in these conditions. These boots are not heavily padded or form fitting, so I added an insole to provide more cushion as they seemed very hard especially on the concrete.

They aren’t hot after several hours of wear, and they seem to repel at least most of the water. I’m not sure I’d necessarily call them anything but water resistant. They seem to fit a little big, and slide up and down on my feet slightly unless I tighten the laces in the top 2 holes.

However doing that makes my feet tingly (a sign of poor circulation). That may just require some adjustments on my part though and not be inherent to the boots. They feel true to width. These are very shiny when new.

I liked the color originally, but it doesn’t hide grease or water spots very well. They scuff pretty easily too. In my area it won’t matter, but for someone who needs something that looks pretty all the time it might make a difference.

Overall, I’ll probably buy another pair of these when it becomes necessary. Hopefully they won’t start losing their soles or leaking for awhile.

Very happy with the quality. Should maybe have bought a half size smaller. The shoes are top quality but after wearing them for a few days I fell they are a little loose and am unable to tighten up laces any tighter.

I normally wear a 10. 5 shoe. I think American shoes run a little larger. Still, winter is coming and I will be wearing slightly heavier socks. I am sure that will improve the fit. Ed.

This is a rather late review, but I think it is worth sharing. I bought this product about 10 months ago for my husband as a gift for him as he started a new job, which requires him to stand on his feet for 10-12 hour shifts.

I saw the ad for this on IG, and thought about giving this a try. Now I’m a pretty thrifty wife, who does not like to spend a lot of money on things that may not last. I am happy to say, that these shoes are by far the BEST investments I have purchased for my husband.

The first day my husband used it for work, he was shocked at not only how comfortable they were, but how durable they were. They prevented his feet from aching, which is huge! As a type 1 diabetic it is pertinent that the extremities are well protected.

I’d highly recommend this for people who have such a condition and also if their job requires excessive time on their feet. The exterior design was very nice and sleek. My husband found them light and not burden some to wear.

After 10 months with the shoes, I can say – it still holds up, despite the obvious wear on the exterior. So I came back to purchase the insoles just to see how they fair, as the shoes are still in pretty good condition, but I think we’ll never shop anywhere else for shoes.

I’ve bragged enough about these, that two other people ended up buying it. It’s good to see a company that lives up to its standards and advertisement. Well done!.

I’m a stage hand. And I really liked these shoes at first. There were a few tiny rips in the fabric the first few months only cosmetic but I thought nothing of itbut 8 months in and they have completely fallen apart.

The steal toe on one has completely fallen out. There’s no warrenty on them so there’s nothing I can do there. For spending the money I did I expected them to last longer. Talking with the help line they told me I should have told them about the tiny little tear the first month.

I didn’t think it was important it was just a cosmetic like I said not structural So if you bought them and they start ripping get them replaced right away, I guess. Because otherwise you’ll end up with worthless shoes and a broken toe.

After a long 2 month wait for my order I finally received my shoes. Ironically enough 2 weeks before they came in I stepped on a nail that penetrated nearly 1 inch into my foot that had to be pulled out.

Anyways, I am a Industrial Maintenance technician in a automobile manufacturing facility so I’m around heavy equipment, waking on concrete, metal grating, up and down stairs, climbing ladders, working with electricity occasionally as well so my shoes also have to be esd rated.

These shoes are performing perfectly so far right out of the box. I have never purchased a pair of shoes that I did not have to ‘break in’ and also put insoles in immediately until these arrived! They feel amazing, light weight, soft like a cloud on the hard concrete floors at work.

So far I’m extremely pleased!.

I have no problem with the toe shoe I bought a week ago. I am very 100% satisfied with this product. This toe shoe fit me just right. Not too loose or too tight. I liked this shoe because it has waterproof and slips resistance since I live in Maine, where there is a lot of snow and ice.

The price is pretty reasonable.

Sturdy but lightweight. Could use a slightly higher ankle for more support.

These shoes fit true to size and have extra wide composite toe along with good arch support.

Second pair I’ve gotten from yall. Absolutely love these shoes. I build ambulances so I’m constantly on my feet and kneeling down. The safety caps don’t cut into my feet and the breathable light weight material let’s me wear these long after my 10 hour shift.

I bought the insoles and speed laces along with these shoes and they feel like my civilian sneakers. Highly recommend these to anyone looking for total comfort while on the job.

Being that these shoes were a “new brand” of shoes, I was skeptical first off. Since I have been wearing them EVERY DAY, I feel these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! From just walking in them my lower back problems are now history! Thank you for the craftmanship.

These are the last boots I will ever buy. I have had three pairs of these, each lasting me about 2 years. I work in the autobody industry, and these boots have got me through technical school as well as everyday wear.

My foot was ran over and these guys saved my toes. Water, laquer thinner, fire coals, and flying hot metal are child’s play to these boots. The GRIP on these bad boys are good enough for you to roll your post project car across the shop on a slick floor.

I’m part spider monkey and I climb lifts to get into vehicles with these. I was about to get another pair, but these boots deserve recognition. This next set will be my 4th pair.

In my line of business we are hard on boots do rain and weather. We’re also around forms of asset then chemicals that make up concrete. So it’s very important to have a pair Safety Work Boots that goes a long was that don’t break the bank.

My 1st pair I bought last year did just that. I even had co-workers commenting about them.

even though I received what I ordered and will continue to shop. I had to wait over 2 months to get this pair. 1st time ever !!!!! I hope this is not your normal shipping these days. FED EX was very slow.

I always have used this type of shoe and I will say that this one is lighter than the others I have used in the past. Always used the smooth finish but really like the textured finish I have now. Great product!!.

With feet the width of mine, options are limited. While clearly a sturdy well made shoe, to me they are just not comfortable. I suspect if I sat or even stood in one place most of the day I would like them better.

They fit well. Unfortunately I do a lot of walking and I find these shoes uncomfortable while walking; they leave me with sore feet at the end of the day. I tired these as well as the slip on version.

These comments apply equally to both.

It took a few weeks to break the shoes in slowly for all-day wear. For some reason my right toe knuckle was uncomfortably tight, so I tried an old boot stretch trick (soak sock in 50-50 solution of rubbing alcohol and water, then put on shoe).

Will check back later on durability. The soles are more than solid with great tread, and almost feel like platforms. My previous New Balance work shoes (now discontinued) lasted 4 years but the ‘no slip’ sole redesign was totally unsuitable for my needs.

This shoe has a tough durability legacy to match.

They could be better with better trim work.

It’s hard to find a good looking work shoe that looks great with shorts and pants and also very comfortable even though they are steel toe I really like the wide toe

They are well built and I could tell that these shoes weren’t made cheap. I bought them to do drywall in cause the other shoes that I was buying were falling apart after 2 months on the job. I do believe that these will last the test of time.

I’m not a shoe expert but If I was a guessing man I’d swear that these shoes were mostly put together hand because of the hidden markings on them. I highly recommend if you want a tough shoe with out wearing a heavy boot all day that hurts your feet.

If so then this shoe is what you need you can’t even tell that it’s hard toed shoes either and feels like you have a comfortable tennis shoe on. I highly recommend these shoes. I’m going to buy another pair to wear as my nice off work shoe to wear on the weekends or anytime I’m not at work because I like them so much and will last for a long time and they don’t look like hard toed shoes and looks pretty cool.

I also like the grip on the bottom. They are made out of real rubber and not that cheap fake hard plastic feeling rubber that will make you slip real easy on a smooth floor. These actually have good grip whether your inside or outside either way you’re safe.

These shoes are okay, but the thing I’m less impressed with is: the color. Camouflage Gray, to me, should be Gray and Black; no other color. These have Green added and appear more Green than Gray. The color difference was extreme enough that it made me check my order to see that I received the right ones.

My mistake although the website pictures do not accentuate the Green color. The heel lacks padding and feels like hard leather. I’ve worn them through three 12-hour shifts without any noticeable fatigue.

Despite the lack of arch support, my feet are not sore afterward. The shoes are well ventilated and keep my feet cool. All in all the shoes fit true to size. Delivery to the U. S. was a three week wait, so be sure to account for the delay.

Supposedly these will be available from a U. S. warehouse soon.

I wanted to wait a little bit to write this review, but after these past two weeks I can’t wait any longer! I first heard about Xenas back in January and ordered a pair off of the weathered collection.

Unfortunately, they were a size too big (I ordered up a size from a lot of suggestions and they were actually too big) and so I had to return them. I didn’t get around to ordering another pair until the end of September and I am so bummed that I waited as long as I did! #1 Their customer service is phenomenal.

#2. I wore these shoes for 7 days straight – The two weekend days after they came in the mail to break them in and then five, 8-hour work days on the plant floor working on medical grade industrial washers.

When I would get home I wouldn’t do my normal “dance” to jump out of my steel toes and get comfy clothes/shoes on. I actually was happy to stay put in the Xenas the rest of the evening while running errands too.

I will say overall I give them a 9/10. They definitely could use some inserts or more cushion on the sole of the inside especially for those of us on concrete floors all day, but I really was not bothered at much and they are 10 times lighter than my Docs which is a huge plus because my ankles did not hurt at the nd of the day from wearing 10000 pound boots lol.

If you are on the fence about trying these, I say go for it! I would just recommend ordering your actual shoe size instead of a size up like a lot of people suggest.

I regret purchasing these shoes, feel I wasted a lot of money, and recommend not wasting yours. I was SO excited to get these boots, but I’ve been trying to wear them for 3 months and they’re still the most painful thing I have ever worn.

I also am not confident in their production quality as within the second wear the zipper stitching started coming out and after ~10 wears the outsole began to separate from the shoe on both shoes. Xena did do a quick turnaround of me sending in the zipper for repair, but it was annoying to have this happen in two wears.

The soles separating is ridiculous to happen at all and because I cannot return worn shoes, I had to try to glue it back myself. But the worst part is how painful the shoes are. There is no way someone could wear them all day.

I have worn them for a few hours at a time and am in very bad pain. I have tried various socks, different thicknesses, etc to help mitigate it. I bought multiple sizes, so I do know I have the correct fit.

These just are awful shoes. Yes, they are cute, don’t look like a safety shoe, but I don’t think any shoe is safe enough if I can’t wear them without significant pain.

My Xenas are absolutely amazing! I got the Gravity shoe, though I think I would opt for a ‘no heel’ style next time. The heel is cute and stylish, but it makes my toes slide forward slightly. Normally, this is not a concern, but with the steel toe it can rub a little on the toes.

I did try going up a size, but that was too big and my whole foot slid around the shoe. I typically wear a size 9 in shoes, though I would say my foot is more of an 8. 75 – which obviously doesn’t exist.

I sized up to a 9. 5 originally, but ended up going with a size 9 as it was more comfortable and easier to work in. If I were a solid 9 normally, the 9 would have been too small so definitely order up a half size.

These shoes are so adorable that I receive compliments on them as a regular shoe. When I am walking through construction sites I love to see all the people dying to ask me why I am not wearing steel toe boots.

The look on their faces when I show them that I am, indeed, wearing a safety shoe is absolutely priceless. These boots are 100% worth it and I have already recommended them to some colleagues. I love my Xena boots!.

I really rate these shoes — they’re great! The bad first: I bought some in the first Kickstarter run and the adhesive that bonds the sole to the rest of the shoe wasn’t good enough to stand the water and mud, after a couple of years the glue has partially failed.

Quoc have sorted me out with another pair at a decent discount and assure me that the adhesive has changed from the initial run. So I now have two pairs, one well used and one pretty much new. The good: The shoes are a great shape for my feet (which I consider to be on the slender side).

I find them very comfortable and have ridden long days (165mi #brag) with no issues. I use Speedplay Frog cleats and pedals. A good stiff sole but still great to walk in! As such, when touring / bikepacking I think these are the only pair you need.

Only taking one pair of shoes can cut a lot of volume when packing. Comfortable in poor weather. In the winter I wear mine without the insole and with a thicker or second pair of socks. The material is waterproof, so ingress is by soaking through the sock.

They’re great in showers on their own, and with overshoes + mudguards will keep your feet dry in downpours for hours. If they get wet they’re not too difficult to dry out as there’s very little in the way of absorbent fabric in the construction.

I also think they look nice. People often comment that they look better than other cycling shoes, that they’d like something they could wear without clip-clopping around.

Very pleased with these shoes. Like many, I’ve gotten into long-distance gravel and ATB exploration riding and wanted a clipless shoe that was more versatile than my carbon-soled XC shoes. I was specifically looking for a lace-up shoe with a more flexible sole and a more stable tread pattern for the occasional hike-a-bike.

After two weeks of riding, I’m already quite pleased with these shoes. They are comfortable and the fit is good for my semi-narrow feet. For others looking for size advice, I have previously ridden a 45 in Sidi and Shimano and a 44 in Fizik.

When I purchase these Quoc shoes, I was also looking at Specialized shoes and was in between the 44 and 45 that I tried on. I wear an 11 US in sneakers (Vans, NB, etc. ). I find it frustrating that there isn’t quality user feedback online comparing shoe sizes between brands.

So this is my contribution to filling that gap. Of the various shoes I’ve ridden over time, I find the size 45 QUOC are almost directly comparable to my current size 45 Sidi Dragons, but with a roomier toe box.

This shoe had everything I’d like in a cycling shoe. Quality materials, great looks, sole quite stiff but ok for walking. SPD shoe that does not look out of place on a road bike. Length I felt exactly as described in the (new) size guide.

Its a shame the lovely choice of colours does not extend to the smallest size, small-footed people you are having black. Having read all the blurb and reviews about how comfy they were, I was very disappointed on trying them to find that the shoe is actually quite narrow in both the instep and toe box.

I use barefoot shoes for both running and everyday wear and my feet are naturally quite wide across the ball. I need at least a little room for my toes to spread to properly engage my lower legs muscles.

Usually unisex shoes are wider than ladies and fit me adequately, if made in a size 38 or 39. But not these. If Quoc were to make these in a wider width I would have a couple of pairs. In the meantime, it’s back to Shimano or I may try Lake, although neither have the style of Quoc.

The Mr Evans is an ultimate classic that is extremely versatile. To me, they were worth the splurge. I would love if there were an option with a slightly softer sole. Wearing them for too long does tend to hurt my knees! I’m marking that they run a bit small because I’m usually an 8 an had to go a half size up.

Love these shoes! The size was perfect. I usually wear a size 8 so 38 was good. I can see why someone with a wider foot would say they were tight. I am a AA so they do run narrow. Love the leather soles.

Let me start by saying that these shoes are so worth the price. Gorgeous craftsmanship, comfortable right out of the box, and I have gotten so many compliments and questions about where I got them. I had an issue with the first pair I ordered and I am blown away by how easy the exchange process was and how quickly I received a response and a replacement.

I will definitely be doing business with this company again and will sing their praises whenever anyone asks where I got my great shoes.
