20 Best Shoes For Tendonitis Women’S (2023 Updated)

Hi, my history is that I was born with slightly deformed feet. All my life I have had to wear a bigger size – I buy a size 7 and a half to 8 to fit my foot which has a size 6 length (UK sizes). These are the first sport shoes in my size (6) ever that I have been able to wear brand new (my mother used to walk mine in for me) and I literally could make them my profile picture, they have brought me so much joy.

The are super comfortable, when I say super. slipper comfortable. I will be buying all my shoes from fitville from now. I am so chuffed. Now no excuse for bad tennis playing.

I have wide feet and small bunions. For years i have worn tennis shoes for badminton and suffered foot/toe pain. I’ve tried orthotics but no relief. The Amadeus tennis shoe is a revelation, comfortable from the word go, I can now play badminton for 2 hrs with not pain.

I can’t recommend these shoes highly enough and customer service was excellent.

I’m not really a runner but I walk up some very very steep hills every day, about 45 minutes of fast paced walking. I started having some aches and pains in my knees going down steep hills so started searching highly cushioned sneakers.

To cut a long story short I have some rather expensive Hokas, The Saucony Triumph 19, tried on Brooks Glycerins, didn’t really like the style or fit. Thought I’d try New Balance again as in my younger days NB was my go to sneaker brand.

I kept hearing these 1080v 12s run large or at least a 1/2 size too big. I’ve worn a 10. 5 medium width forever, but just in case, I ordered these in both 10 and 10. 5. and thought I’d return whichever one didn’t fit as well, just walking on carpet so they’d still be like new to return.

To my surprise the 10’s felt VERY tight and the 10. 5s my normal size, felt like a super soft glove, I was blown away with how instantly comfortable they are. I’d have to say these are probably the most comfortable sneakers I have ever had.

Though I don’t run, I still feel plenty of support and I love the crazy bright Orange color I opted for. Like most sneakers these days, I feel they should all be $20-$30 less on an overall, that said, I LOVE these 1080v 12s.

I have been meaning to write this review for the longest time! I purchased the Palma stretch shoe several months ago. i was so glad to find a shoe that I could wear that did not look like a cunning shoe.

I wear this shoe even for semi dress! I was so impressed, that I immediately purchased two more pair!. I have not even opened the boxes, except to initially try them on…as I am still wearing the first pair! Which is TOTALLY unusual for me…I have worn Mephisto for years, and after a few months, I was needing to replace.

These stretch shoes still look great! AND in my right shoe, I need to wear a lift, personally made orthotics made by my Physical therapist, and finally a brace that fits under my orthotic, to help with my walking/ ALL OF THIS fits! … and my shoes are super comfortable… and no one would know what’s going on inside! I am thrilled with these shoes! And show them off to all who will listen to me.

my husband just bought his first pair of Ortho feet today. boy, is he going to be so surprised at how wonder they are!.

I love the Palma Stretch Knit Black shoes! They feel fantastic! They are soft and comfortable and stretch and protect my toes from being hammertoe. I had a little problem with hammertoe and Orthofeet shoes have corrected the little problem I had! I am very happy with the shoes I wear for work.

I have 4 pair of Orthofeet shoes I wear for work, 2 pair of Orthofeet sleepers, 3 pair of Orthofeet sandals, 1 pair of Orthofeet dress open toe sandals. I have 2 different styles of socks for work. And just bought a pair of 2 piece compression socks that feel awesome! I’m very happy with Orthofeet and recommend this and and their shoes to anyone! Thank you for saving my hurting feet!.

It is rare that an Orthofeet shoe purchase needs to go back for an exchange. Once in 15 pairs I believe! Palma stretch knit shoes are just what I needed at this point in my aging feet “journey. ”😊. When your feet, knees and lower back begin to ache again, look at the arches, soles and “toe box” of the ones you are wearing.

In my case all shoes are Orthofeet so I was really concerned. Yep! I had worn out the soles of three pairs to the degree that my overpronation problem had reappeared, uncorrected by my worn shoes. The restart of plantar fasciitis had begun! And that model was no longer available so I ordered Palma.

Relief. Realignment. Pain no more! I wear this pair of Palma now every day. Uh huh, you know where this is heading— more Orthofeet in the future!.

I got these shoes for walking my dog four-to-five miles seven days and to wear to my part-time job 3-to-4 hours a day four days a week. They are adequate and no more than that but it would be unfair of me not to qualify why I say that.

I suffered nerve damage from a series of backpacking trips carrying too much weight five years ago that have left me with a certain degree of numbness in my feet. These shoes are an improvement over my older Vasque hiking shoes that were wearing out, particularly with regard to the degree of cushion they provide.

Where they fall down is in the degree of support. When I first got these I hesitated and nearly returned them but decided to give them a chance. I have wound up getting another pair of sturdier walking shoes from another American retailer to use more regularly than these and will use these for lighter duty.

They’re decent shoes but if you’re 68 years old fighting numbness like me they may not be the ones you need. I know this review doesn’t apply to everybody which is why I wrote it the way I did. At the same time I suspect it does apply to some people.

Product was made with thin material on the top and can easily see color of what socks I am wearing, not suited for cold or wet weather terrain or foothpath on rainy days. Because thin material made wAlking feels kinda wobbly and hard to run or doing fast pace walking unless tighten shoes real tight.

Does have good choice for wide option and suited for orthothic inserts. Unfortunately the grip under the shoes seems to be too thin and can easily wears out compare to brooks all terrains grip. Based on dollar value, this product is over rated seeing is made in Indonesia not some high end factory.

Shoes lace provided is too ordinary, color is common compare to predecessors models. I have tried Skechers, Nike, Brooks, and now New Balance for this model and found the flaws. I m size 10 woman in 40s and have average weight with US6.

5 feet size. I can’t imagine users have larger size may have issues in supporting their ankle, knee and back after 3 months of continuous use based on the materials and grip this shoes has. Big disappointment for a $270 bucks purchase.

I was skeptical of ordering these shoes at first because I do have continual back pain, but not foot pain and I also have a narrow foot not wide. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well the size medium shoes fit me.

For the first week I walked around my house with them on to give myself time to get use to them in the comfort of my home. They do elevate my arch more than I am use to, but I believe this to be a good thing! I live in flip flops so my feet are constantly flat and causing me severe back pain.

I was drawn to the fact that the shoes are very stylish since I am 42 years young and desire a functional esthetically pleasing shoe. i am looking forward to purchasing my next shoe with Kuru and it will definitely be a flip flop!.

I was walking 8km on the daily, plus what I did just around the house. My fire was really painful and limited my walks to barely 0. 5km. With my recent Morton’s Neuroma diagnosis, I knew I needed proper foot wear.

I googled shoes specific for my diagnosis and was brought to the Kuru site. I found a pair I liked but hesitated on the price. My wonderful mom said she’d buy them and so I gladly accepted. To wear them around the house while breaking them in was wonderful! So much so, that I feared wearing them out because then I won’t have indoor shoes! This past weekend I finally wore them to the park with my kids.

They are oh so comfy and stylish. I want/need to get another pair for indoors and for outdoor summer weather. Kuru is great in that they make a variety of styles, one (or two or three) to suit even the pickiest of consumers.

My hesitation on ordering more, like I’ve said before, is the price. If they were more affordable, my rating would be 5 out of 5.

This is my second purchase of Kuru’s Atom style within a month. I had a great toe fusion in my right foot almost a year ago and left foot Achilles tendonitis with calcification at the insertion site and bone spurs.

Walking was extremely painful even with high end athletic shoes, ice, heat, and medication. I stumbled upon the Kuru site; this style has completely changed my life. It offers amazing cushioning, support, holds my heel in place and is high enough in the back to not cause pressure on my tendon; the mesh in front allows for the extra room I need.

In my opinion runs true to size with a wide toe box. I did not need a break in period. As a nurse and gym member, I am now able to participate in activities I enjoy, pain free!.

As with my previous purchase, I love these shoes. No break-in needed. They immediately fit perfect and comfy. The first day I wore them, I hiked around all day in them. Very sharp looking as well. I recently had a knee replacement and these cushion and impact and feel great.

Great shoe. Comfortable, sturdy. Really good support and good grip on the ground. I’m looking forward to road walking in the mountains. Also, they are truly waterproof. I got caught in a downpour and my feet were the only part of me that was dry!.

I wish I had found these shoes earlier, so I didn’t have wet feet walking the dogs every morning this summer. These shoes really keep my feet dry. They are tennis shoe style, so not bulky waterproof shoes, and support my arches.

I have a high instep, high arch, wide foot (D-E), and am in my mid-60s with a history of obesity. I had plantar fasciitis a few years ago, briefly. I moved to zero drop thickly padded shoes back then, which worked.

Then, In winter 2020, my PF reappeared. I was on my feet working overtime a lot, including concrete floors, and by April 2021 I could barely walk. Throbbing heel pain at night kept me awake and agonizing pain first thing in the AM.

My left heel was the worst, as the PF migrated up into my left Achilles. During spring 2021, I tried a lot of brands and pads, alone and in combination. What finally worked was an Orthofeet sneaker PLUS a Dr.

Scholl’s PF insole. I think I needed the extra PF insole because my left heel had been aggravated for a year. (I have also lost 60 lb since spring 2021) With this combination, I have obtained complete relief; no heel/Achilles pain no matter how long the day.

Wearing the Orthofeet sneaker + Dr. Scholl’s PF insole is more comfortable than any other shoe or being barefoot. If I notice heel pain, I put on my Orthofeet sneakers and it immediately goes away. As the weather turned wintry here in the Midwest, I decided to try this Orthofeet boot, first WITHOUT the added Dr.

Scholl’s PF insole, but ended up adding one. I certainly hope this combination of items from two different companies continues to be available, as I have spent HUNDRED$ trying to find what works, and this works.

Got size 2 Xwide and they were perfect. Walked 4 miles in the boots first time on without one issue. I have a bunion and the wide toe box provides for that. We had several inches of snow within a week of getting the boots so they have been exposed to snow/slush/I also like to walk the beach so they have been exposed to both sand and salt water.

My feet have remained totally dry. My hope is that they will continue to perform at the same level for some time. This is the 2nd pair of footwear that I have ordered from Orthofeet, and again, I am very impressed with customer communication from the company in regard to shipping and updates.

I can see this company being my “go to” for footwear in the future. Hopefully, they will maintain their current level of excellence and not “slack off” as so many others have done in the current climate in the U.

I bought the Delta Black Waterproof shoes and they are absolutely marvelous. I have severe Achilles tendonitis and have done PT and Shockwave treatments to try to break up the scar tissue. The latter seems to be working, but I am still in a wait and see.

However, these shoes make it seem like I am cured. Extremely comfortable from first try. I am wearing orthotics in them, but really like the extra footbeds and arch supports that are included. Sizing was just right.

The wide toebox and depression for heel spurs (which I also have a tendency for) is great too. Highly recommend!.

I wanted these sneaker so bad, Im a size 71/2 to 8 these sneaker are a size 8 1/2 i order them and was praying that they will fit. , Not exactly they were to big very disappointed had to return them.

They are great sneaker LOVE the color. Oh well pray they get them for me in a size 8 it will be awesome. Plus the price was GREAT!!! Who ever purchase these sneaker you wont be disappointed.

I bought these in July and probably received them beginning of August. It’s now November 1st and they are falling apart and I don’t wear them that often. The sole has come unglued from the fabric already.

I’m disappointed because it’s New Balance and I expect more from a brand name.

I work part time in retail. This means standing on my feet for hours each day. These sneakers are the best. comfortable, well-fitting. stylish. and still feel good after an 8 hour shift. I wish I had bought two or three pairs instead of just one.

I have always been a fan of the New Balance 990. It was a shoe that I typically saw older, affluent men wear who would not otherwise wear sneakers. Now I see why the elders choose this model. These 990v5 New Balance are so comfortable! It feels like you are walking on air.

I have worn 576 New Balance for decades. I still like them, as they are very stylish and come in cute color combinations, but if you want the king of New Balance, this is the shoe for you. They are stylish, fashionable yet (dare I say) practical.

They come in grey, black or navy and there are other variations of the grey that are released as limited editions. It is a very versatile shoe, worth the price point, IMO. I will say that you should order in your size.

They may have a little room in the toe, if you have longer, more narrow feet, as I have, but they should not be too wide or long. Enjoy!.

The 990 line’s been my primary wear for some years now and I decided for the first time to order my next pair online at newbalance. com rather than take the drive to another city for the nearest New Balance store.

Unfortunately with the pair I received, the left shoe fit as comfortably as expected while the right shoe felt unusually hard as though I were walking on a floor in thin socks. I removed the insoles and in the right shoe could feel as though some cushioning failed to be added.

It was like hard plastic covered with barely-there fabric. I bought some Dr. Scholl’s insoles in hopes that would help, but it didn’t. Fortunately, I was able to exchange the shoes at the store I was trying to avoid driving to in the first place and tried the replacements on first to be sure.

My new pair is now as great and comfortable as my previous pairs, thankfully. Three-star rating for having paid that much to have one shoe defective and pretty much cancel out the initial convenience of online ordering.

I Purchased a variation of this shoe for many years now. I normally wear an 8 1/2 and I always get these in an 8 1/2 wide so I can insert my orthotics. It works perfectly and I find this to be an exceptionally supportive and comfortable shoe.

It is a little on the heavy side so keep that in mind. My most recent pair have been just as good however the shoelaces started to wear after only a few months. New balance does not sell replacement shoelaces online and it has been difficult to get any information regarding a replacement.

So I will look for shoelaces elsewhere. I took one star off because of the lace issue. That is not enough to make me discard these shoes. I will buy them again.

I really love the shoes as there extremely comfortable while still looking like everyday shoes. Something I find often with really comfy shoes is that they look so sporty. So it’s great to be able to have casual shoes that work better with most peoples style.

As with everything ASICS makes, the comfort and design are top notch. The insoles provide such comfort that you’ll think you’re walking on air. The all-white design with a hint of color tell onlookers that you’re cool without bragging about it.

With neutral colours, these shoes will be appropriate for both on and off. the court, though will most likely be used for casual wear. While have not worn for an extended time yet, the fit and support feels great.

These shoes are Adorable !!! They fit really well and my daughter likes to wear them. She has sensory issues so she likes to take off her shoes every chance she gets but I bought these for school and she doesn’t mess with them so they are comfy.

They are slip ons which is perfect since she doesn’t like socks , but I’m super happy with the quality and the comfort of these shoes. Will buy more colors they are so cute and they go with anything !.

Have received lots of compliments on these trainers, they are comfy and go with everything. However, they have that very strong ‘bubblegum’ smell that you get with really cheap shoes, definitely not quality leather, they mark really easily too.

I have spent a good while scrubbing them with a cloth, soft brush, water, cleaner etc they are really hard to get marks out of. Plus they come up at least 1 size small. I am a size 4. 5 so always buy 5s, i couldnt even get my foot in! Had to buy a 6 – first time ever! Wouldn’t recommend for the price.

I love these pumps and have them in multiple colours. The rubber is natural so they do not draw the feet and are comfy to wear all day. Another plus is they are machine washable, just look out for the sizing and always go up one size.
