20 Best Shoes For Older Men (2023 Updated)

I’ve worn these multiple times now for a lot of walking and had no problems. I wore them with no-show socks. I struggled trying to figure out what size to get bc I also have a pair of Vans platform slides that I had to order down (size 8) a size.

I wear an 8. 5/9, usually a 9 in flats. For these the size 8. 5 were perfect even with a pair of no-show socks. I do not have narrow feet or wide they’re pretty average. I have a high arch and suffer from plantar fasciitis often and the first time I wore these for a lot of walking I was dealing with a bout of plantar fasciitis.

These provided plenty of arch support for me (no additional arch support/inserts used) and I never had any pain even though I was on my feet for a long time.

The smell. Oh, the smell of a fresh shoe. The unboxing is always a wonderful stage as you get the first glance but the smell takes you along to another land, filled with flying unicorns and fresh shoes that grow from the cabbage patch.

This shoe, however, exceeds all others. Soft from the ball of the foot to the tips of the toes, it hugs you into a false sense of something like hovering. The plump cuffs snuggle up gently to your ankles in a manner akin to how you would imagine a calf does to mother cow.

To top it off, you look even cooler wearing them than you do holding them.

The shoe came in a not perfect condition, and I did not realize and wore it just once and when I told JDSports about it all they said was “too bad you wore it already”. So I find that the QC did not even do their job right and also a bad way of handling the case.

I did not know I had to inspect every part of the shoe before wearing a brand new shoe and thought that it had a defect to it. I thought I could have trusted the company and its QC to do a proper job but I guess I was wrong about that.

Also, the shoe has no grip so when the floor is wet the shoe gets slippery. I hope the company would do something about it for both my defective shoe and the grip of the shoe.

I have been wearing Superrep for several years now and always keep several pairs in rotation. These sneakers are exactly what I need – comfort- cushioning and creative colors!! I box, do HIIT classes and run.

The cushioning component is critical to me and these sneakers deliver! I tried on many other sneakers that are specifically for just running but retuned all of them because nothing compares to this sneaker.

I have tried in the new model but I have to say prefer this generation. These went right into my “inventory “of Superreps in my closet. The fit of this color is exact- I’m a 9 and these are perfect (the black ones run smaller).

I’ve been wearing Nike air max since their inception ( I do miss the airmax 720) so I know what works best for me- these are a 10 star sneaker!.

These cleats not only look amazing, but due to how thin and flexible the clear material is, it’s soo easy to have a great touch on the ball. Would recommend wearing thin socks with these. Parts of the shoe are almost like a solid gauze with a very fine mesh pattern which provides excellent breathability.

I have a wider fore-foot, and many soccer cleats feel too narrow. These however, although not wide, were definitely flexible that area and comfortable. I was hesitant about the partial “sock” feature around the ankle.

They make it slightly difficult to get on, but if you have thin socks this feature really does provide a nice comfort and feeling that the shoe is customized for your foot. I don’t think this would be comfortable with the old big thick socks that many youth programs provide, but are amazing with thin (normal) branded soccer socks.

The cleats on the bottom are spaced well and although I have only tested on hard winter ground, would probably do just fine in soft turf or grass. Overall I would definitely recommend, especially if you like vibrant stand out colors on your shoes.

Also- the cleats came with a nice sinch- backpack style cleats bag which was an extra bonus! I will probably not use for the cleats because it’s so nice looking- and will use for the pool/practices/day trips.

The description of this shoe is spot on! This is great for HIIT, strength training, & even the elliptical machine. Also, I am able to keep a solid balance when I deadlift! I would not recommend this for the treadmill at all.

I knew to go up a 1/2 size because I have a pair of Zoom Gravity. I feel the Zoom collection is designed to “cradle or mold” to your feet to give you the best workout because the Gravity is great for the treadmill.

The lemon color looks good with almost anything & the shoe does not look big at all. Please pass on this shoe if you’re not into HIIT or strength training. This shoe is not made for running and being at Disney World all day.

It is meant to do what it’s made for HIIT class.

My husband has terrible neuropathy. I found in the past he could wear Earth brand shoes and recently Sketchers. The problem with this one is the width is too narrow. Hopefully, you will offer a wide choice just as you do with the women’s brand.

Sadly, i will have to return the shoes.

My wife purchased a pair last month and frequently urged me to buy a pair. When Blair offered them in the men’s section,I relented and ordered them. Took a long time to get them due to the pandemic. But it was worth it.

Very comfortable walking shoe with soft cushioned soles. Light weight and stylish with either jeans or casual slacks. Now I have to tell my wife how smart she really is.

After reading all the amazing reviews on this shoe, I knew I had to let my dad give it a shot. He has gout in his small toe and has only been able to wear hard sole slippers lately. The reviews made me hopeful and he absolutely loves them! I am considering buying him a back up pair.

The color on the stub toe is a NO was going to purchase the ONLY OTHER pr. of REEBOK YOU HAD until really looked at it, something was off? Then I realized after checking a pair of mine, and sure enough mine are All White and that’s the way I like it.

No brown leather on mine white on white! Always changing something that isn’t broken? Why you can’t just leave things be? Just keep them and always can add new styles Always-But to take away why? Also Where are the Walkers? Change is great if your adding to the selection, But to take away all options of white on white? I looked through Every Mans shoe- Every ONE has color on it.

You can’t find just white on white for those of us that like it that way. why not just leave it be. Tried to find in store-Was informed No MORE thank goodness for finding these on website. Keep these in STOCK PLEASE! Not everyone likes your new versions of color however you do it.

My Reeboks are very comfortable. True to size and looks exactly like they’re pictured. They were neatly packed and shipped immediately. I received my order within two days of placing my order!!

My experience with these Vans shoes have been amazing! I’ve had these shoes for over a year and they are still in great condition! Although I do not skate, I wear these almost daily as casual shoes that will go with any and everything and they still look great! They may not be the comfiest shoes, but they work just fine for every day wear in my opinion.

They slip on perfectly without untying the shoes. I always keep mine tied and tucked into the shoes. They are a pretty good price and they always have sales. I look forward to getting more colors!.

These are a great set of shoes. Sure, they’re not the *most* comfortable, nor the *most* long-lasting but I don’t believe that is their purpose. They are a good everyday walking shoe and comfortable enough to get you through the day.

They also have a very iconic design that don’t really get old. The soles are cushioned enough such that you still feel the padding in each step but it is to be noted that the cushions do become flatter starting at about a few weeks of use.

Overall good pair of shoes for the price.

This particular style of vans are my absolute favorite for toddlers! They’re the absolute cutest and have a Velcro opening to help get their little feet inside. My son has wide feet and complains the first day or 2 of wearing them but they stretch out and be up being super comfy and his favorite shoes! My daughter has average feet and fit her perfectly! Get them…In all the colors!.

These are cute and stylish, and my son was so excited to match his dad. Unfortunately they run more than a size small and were tough to get on. Otherwise the shoes are very well made. We ended up ordering a few sizes up – he typically takes a 12.

5/13 but we ordered a 1. 5. Once the fit was sorted we were very happy with our purchase! Super fast shipping too.

We got these for our toddler. The quality of the shoe seems great so far – he’s been wearing them daily for the past two weeks – and the flexible sole is great for new walkers. We sized up so that he’ll be able to wear them a little longer, but even in the smaller size we found the width the be good (and his feet are quite wide).

Purchased these shoes back in February and did so mainly for the style. However, I quickly realized that they were extremely comfortable! There is some weight to them but the construction of the shoe provided great support and helped correct my poor posture! I found myself walking upright and without slouching which others were able to notice as well.

I’d like to say about a month ago, I started to develop lower back pain, my posture isn’t as great anymore and the bottom of my feet would feel sore as if I was walking in flat sandals all day. I couldn’t pinpoint why until a few days ago when I purchased a new pair of shoes for running and had these shoes on that day.

The 990v5 no longer had the support, cushion and comfort it once had when I purchased these shoes six months ago which was a shocker, honestly. I believe with running shoes it’s recommended to switch out your shoes after 200-300 miles and even if I were to apply that to these shoes, I don’t think I’ve hit that mark yet.

For a bit of background, I primarily wear these shoes for light walks/running errands and they get rotated between other shoes/sandals. Now when I put these shoes on and start walking around in them, I’ll get so much pain and sensation in my lower back and feet.

I haven’t experienced this with my other shoes and I’ve had some for over 5-10 years. I do find it a bit interesting, I may just need a new pair and or perhaps insoles but for the cost of the shoes and insoles only to be replaced after six months of casual wear, it’s questionable.

Overall, I absolutely enjoyed them during the six months of having them but my back and feet are telling me I need to retire them and that’s what we’re going to do.

I am writing this review to let everyone know how this sneakers fit. I bought a pair of USA 990v5 Core and let me tell you I will never go back to Vionic sneakers or sketchers or any bogo fit out their.

This 990v5 are the best comfortable strong well fitted sneakers you can own. They are a bit price but I am a 215 pound woman 5’7 Tall and let me tell you I have very bad knee problems and a right ankle surgery.

These sneakers support so much my walking that I have been thinking Why in the world didn’t I buy these sneakers before. They are strong and very arch supportive they are stylish and can go with everything.

Since I love love love them so much I am owning the black and navy blue pairs as well so I can wear different colors and balance the sneakers. I hope they can come with a nice white pair as well and perhaps other nice colors too.

Please continue USA to make these wonderful classic stylish sneakers in where your feet has to wear the best. DON”T look at the price because our feet are our travelers and they deserved the Best. Please continue to make these sneakers as they are.

Do not change anything. I am a size 11-Medium but in these sneakers I bought 10. 5 Medium they fit perfect. Thank you USA : God Bless America and its Products :).

I’ve been a huge fan of the 990s and 2002s for years and always buy several pairs of each generation to wear throughout the week. I spend long days on my feet for work and these shoes have been the best fit & comfort for long days.

I loved the 990v4 and had 5 pairs of them! HOWEVER, the V5 of these shoes are awful, they’re noticeably bigger than the v4 in the same size. You can put them side by side and see the toe box is wider, the shoe is bigger and after buying a couple pairs of my normal size, I found out that I needed to get a half size smaller just to sorta fit correctly.

I’ve never had to change shoe size in 20+ years. Also, the various color/style options are completely different fitting/comfort from each other. I’ve bought and returned several pairs of each and still have comfort issues with these shoes after wearing them for several weeks.

It seems like there is either a QC issue or a materials sourcing issue. I’ve never seen this guy of inconsistencies on the shoes. For shoes that cost over $150/pair, I’d have expected more from these.

I really want to like them, but the V5 are awful and i’ve given away ALL of my pairs way early or nearly new because they’re impossible to wear! Here’s hoping the V6 are better.

This boot feels a little more snug than the Superfly 6 (didn’t get a chance to wear the 7). They’re not uncomfortable, but definitely don’t feel as sock-like as the Superfly 6 and 5. In terms of thickness, it reminds me of the Vapor 11’s, but it feels more plastic-y than the prior versions of the Superfly that I’ve owned.

Stud pattern remains aggressive and traction is great, and I really like that they connected the front and back parts of the sole plate rather than keep it split like the Superly 6 and 7 — it just feels a little more supportive.

Touch feels good, but the ball flies off the foot much like it did on the Vapor 11, which I love and that I feel the Superfly 6 missed. The biggest knock on this would be the break-in period. I feel like the Superly 6 and 5 were playable right out of the box (skipped Superfly 7), but that’s not the case for the 8’s.

First game out, these dug into my heels and gave me blisters behind my ankles (used band aids for the second game and that solved that issue), but after two full games in these, they still feel stiff.

Thus, comfort is good, as long as you like a snug fit and take precautions for your ankles. Second knock — a totally minor one — is that the plastic cover on the end of the shoelaces came off one end when I was untying my shoe.

Nike won’t offer lace replacements, so heads up on that.

Hey I’m Jay and I’ve been skating Vans for a few years now. I generally go through shoes quite quick with casual skating. I like the fit of Vans and the features that come in the skate series. These shoes fit a little wide when compared to Nikes or NBnumerics but still are a classic.

Overall the look and feel great. I used these shoes for skating here in the Netherlands and I’m generally pretty happy. I usually skate on the Kyle Walker pros and had a previous bad experience with some old schools due to their durability, but these new old school skate versions how met all my expectations.

The Duracap over the toes makes sure that i can skate longer without holes in my shoes and the Comfy Cush insoles have got to be the comfiest insoles that already come with the shoes. The only cons i can see are that they’re a little wide so people with narrower feet might not be so comfortable in them.

Other than that, they’re a solid skate shoe and it is definitely worth it to go for the added perks of the skate series than just the classic series. Great shoes to skate in, durable and comfy. Maybe they’re a little wide so watch out if you have really narrow feet.

Andrew Reynolds is one of my favorite pros. This shoe is true to size and comfortable but needs a little break in time. All Vans get hot and have minimal ventilation so don’t wear these all day. Cushioned insoles make a huge difference.

They look nice but Nike didn’t make them true to size, I wear a size 8 and couldn’t fit them on past my toes. I tried to get a size 9 and the same thing. The Air Force 1s fit me wonderfully but something is off with these.

It’s unfortunate because they’re a really nice looking shoe, I just hope they make next nature Air Force 1s with the higher tops soon.

These are the prefect brown vans. I have heaps of brown outfits these shoes will go with, perfectly! I plan on buying another pair. If you really loved a product, buy two! I definitely recommend these shoes for any outfit, especially grunge, brown monochrome outfits, etc!.

Ordered these in my normal size 9 and they fit perfectly. So comfy. The padded collar is a must for me. I usually prefer The Era because of the lower cut but I wanted the FLORAL PLAID PATCHWORK so badly.

Personal favorite line of Nike athletics sneakers. I have purchased all but a few styles and colorways. Quality does not jump around with different style or colorway. Durable sole; I will not buy flimsy bottomed shoes.

Tough stitching and solid glue all around. Whites are white and colors are vibrant. I feel like Nike made these just for me. Size down half size I recommend. My wide foot fits great in all style low to mid.

I really like these shoes, and I didnt get them because I thought they were air forces. I got them because they were good basketball shoes with a good price, and they were comfortable and easy to keep clean unlike air forces.

But now i cant go a single day with people saying that they are fake forces. I always tell them that there just black nikes, sometimes I even show them the proof, but they still call them fake.

I was browsing through the Finishline website as usual. My son come into my office and notices I’m looking at the Nike Court Vision Low Black/White shoes. He says “man dad those are cool”. I repplied “they are I think I may buy them”.

He said “you should they are really nice”. So I did buy them except I bought them in his size. When those shoes came in he was surpised and super happy. He tried them on they looked really good on him and fit just right.

This is the second pair I’ve had of these trainers as I love the style. The first pair were perfect and lasted around 3 years! This pair even in the slightest drizzle of rain the black suede runs onto the white.

I only walked from my car into work (around 30 steps) in light rain and they were covered in black on the front. Not great for someone who’s fussy about dirty looking trainers. Binned the box so unable to return.

Shoes that go with literally everything and look great. I love the little platform, gives them a twist but not too intense. I went with my regular sizing, despite the size guide saying I should size up.

Fits perfectly. A bit sturdy at first but didn’t hurt my feet at all.

The comfycush vans are completely the best shoes I have brought! I have brought them for my dad and partner as well as myself and I recommend them highly! They are so comfy and very padded around the edges which I love and definitely lighter weight compared to the other vans.

They fit, and are comfortable. What I want in a shoe. Now we get to see how durable they are. If they hold up, like other shoe brands or models I have had in the past I liked which are no longer available, then all is good, and in a couple of years, I will buy another pair when these wear out.

I’m pretty bummed that the quality of these shoes do not align with the price. They look like any $30 pair of sneakers from Target unfortunately. I initially thought I would like how nondescript they were, but some branding on the shoe would actually be nice.

I’ve only been wearing these for 4 days now and the “atoms” logo on the sole insert has already rubbed away, which indicates to me that they are cheaply made. I do not find them to be very supportive or all that comfortable when compared to similar styles, such as Allbirds.

Naturally, picking a white shoe I knew they would get dirty, but these have been weirdly hard to clean. The smallest splotch of dirt cannot be removed no matter how quickly I start cleaning it. I will not recommend these shoes to anyone, and will not repurchase from this brand.

Over all, the main issue is how cheap they look and feel!.

The thing I love the most about the shoes is how stylish and timeless they look. I can literally wear them with just about anything. Things that I wish were better: The actual material of the shoe feels a little underwhelming.

I noticed after a few weeks that the bottom sides of the shoe has creases as if they’ve been worn for months. Which leads me to the comfort— I would say comfortable enough to wear for a night out but certainly do not have enough cushion for long walks or all day use in my opinion.

Lastly, I wish they still offered quarter and half sizes for different size feet between left and right. I know this was not the norm in the industry but this was a competitive advantage that atoms had that they no longer offer.

Despite the shortcomings, I still think that this she was worth getting on sale but still has some groundcover to compete with the likes of allbirds.

Background: I have a bit of a wider foot for a woman, typically a 6. 5 in shoes, and I don’t have much of an arch. I just wanted an all white shoe (no other colors or branding) that felt light on my foot and wasn’t a brick like some others I’ve tried from major brands.

Other big thing was the sole being comfortable for long periods on my feet, so I can survive work and take long walks. This shoe really hit all of that! They are so comfy and the sole is incredibly bouncy.

I’m happy it doesn’t have a huge arch support built in because I have flatter feet. I DEFINITELY recommend taking the size quiz bc I went in blind the first time by just measuring my foot and it did not work lol I ended up with a 6.

75 and it fits perfectly — I love the specialty sizing! It was also super easy and quick to make the exchange and receive the new size. I plan on getting another pair in a different color :).
