20 Best Shoes For Office Work (2023 Updated)

These trainers are really comfortable. I spend 8 hours a day Monday to Friday on my feet and I can definitely say that these are so so comfortable that it doesn’t feel like your wearing trainers on your feet but the most cosy soft slippers you can imagine.

They are definitely non slip too as I found out when I walked across a wet floor. Be interesting to see how they perform in the winter when there’s frost or slight ice on the paths. Hopefully they won’t slip.

One thing though that has been mentioned in other reviews is that they sqeek when walking. And yes, yes they do. But not that bad and easy to ignore. So unless your wanting to sneek up on someone Hahaha, then these trainers are perfect for comfy feet on a long shift.

I tried these on in the store and they seemed very comfortable and are mostly ok, save for huge blisters on my big toes. They say they are ‘wide fit’ but it doesn’t seem like it in the toe box area. The no slip part is good on wet floors in restaurant but man do my feet hurt.

Kind of crazy they’re only returnable if unworn. Do not recommend. I had a similar pair in New Balance that I wore for 8 years and they were so comfortable but very slippery on the wet floors. For reference I wear a 6.

5-7 in Adidas and got these in size 8 and put cushy inserts in. My New Balance are also size 8 and I never got one blister in those. 7. 5 in this shoe was way too small and unwearable. Seems odd I’d need maybe an 8.

Bought these shoes because I thought they would offer more support for snowy and sometimes icy walkways when I go to work. (I fell last year on black ice wearing slip-on loafers). The broader and patterned bottom seem to help somewhat in that regard.

Only issue is that compared to other Skechers shoes the interior cushioning is not as good. Needs to be improved there. Not exactly stylish – but good for what I bought it for.

Over all comfort of the shoe is not ideal, but is not painful. I bought these for work and wanted something a little more dressy than boot or sneakers. They look great, just what I was looking for. They feel a little bit snug but are starting to break them in now.

I have not had any major problems in them and have worn them for several 12 hour days.

I really like this shoe! THE most comfortable pair of steel toed shoes that I’ve ever bought! So much so that this is the second pair that I’ve purchased! My coworker also purchased a pair after seeing my first pair.

I had purchased a pair of these shoes a year ago. I work in a materials testing laboratory and the soles haven’t held up as well as I’d like, but I purchased another pair this year because they were easy to slip on with the side zip and they were comfortable.

The pair I just ordered seem to be a little narrower.

I have been wearing dr scholl’s shoes for over 10 years. I ordered these of their website. When I out them on I could immediately could feel that they weren’t as comfortable as I hoped. I didn’t want to take them off without making sure that they didn’t need to be broke in.

So I wore them for about a week. On the last day I wore them my lower back was out which I didn’t think anything of it until later that day. I originally switched to dr scholl’s shoes because of my lower back being out due to the shoes I was wearing.

Haven’t wore them in 2 day and my back is slowly feeling better. I guess that’s what I get for buying before trying. I still like dr scholl’s shoes. Actually ordered a different pair ( one I have wore before).

Only sneaker/shoe I have worn over past 8-10 years. I use a wide width and found these to be comfortable all around shoes that hold up pretty well. The newer version of Cambridge isn’t as sturdy as the first and will generally break down at the sole after 6 months or so of heavy use.

I also noticed a difference in the sole insert when they stopped using a gel heel cushion and replaced with different material. However, I still use these and always have 2 extra pairs in the closet.

I needed a non-slip show with arch support. This was my second choice, as the show I wanted was not available in my size, and I needed the shoe that day. I work over 45 hrs per week in two restaurants, so the support and comfort is crucial.

This show get the job done. It fits my foot right, it is easy to get on and off, repels water and food pretty well, has a great grip on the floor, and you can wear them elsewhere, as they look like just normal tennis shoes.

I would buy them again!.

Like all Camper footwear these are soooo comfortable. Right from the start, I put them on and could go off on a good walk in them. They needed no ‘breaking in’ and when it rained, they were waterproof.

I order a size larger than I normally would in shoes when I order Camper because I have exceptionally wide feet and find the fit is better that way, but my partner doesn’t have hobbit feet and so orders his exact size each time.

They are perfect for work with a suit and great for casual use with a pair of jeans.

I think I will buy two pairs of these; this one for winter use with heavy wool socks and a half size smaller for summer with lightweight socks. More affordable than similar or same brand in the mall stores by about 40%.

I have not been able to get correct size shoes from a store in years because they no longer carry small sizes, but I found them at Boscov’s. I will buy again.

Bought these shoes because they claim they have memory foam. They felt comfortable in the store, but after working a few 8 hour shifts, my back and feet are killing me. Even after using insoles, these shoes are still horrible.

Now one of my heels feels bruised all the time because of them. Don’t waste your money, buy literally anything else.

Got a job in the hot foods area in the deli at a grocery store that required slip resistant shoes which is something I’ve never had to buy in the past. Because I’ve been on my feet my entire working life shoe shopping is a nightmare for me trying to find something comfortable.

Besides needing something comfortable I also need something wide because my feet have expanded after years of being on them. I usually buy men’s shoes because of the width issue. The slip resistant shoe selection was pretty small which didn’t give me many selections.

I tried on two different pairs that weren’t comfortable at all before spotting these. Soon as I tried them on I knew they were the ones. They aren’t too bad looking and the memory foam in the foot bed feels wonderful.

They are roomy and comfy which is what determines if I will buy a shoe or not. The price is another factor in purchasing shoes. These were not outrageously priced. They were so comfy I didn’t have a breaking them in period thank God.

After being on my feet for 8 hours my feet are aching and I’m ready to get them off but that’s how it is with any shoe for me. I work in a very fast paced environment so there’s grease, water and food on the floor all the time.

The tread on these shoes is awesome so I don’t slip around at all while doing my job. As a matter of fact the tread is so deep at the end of my second day of working I came home with brisket, mac & cheese and rice stuck in the bottom of my shoe that I had a heck of a time getting out.

Had to beat them together for quite awhile to get it all out. As for the durability of the shoe I have only been at my job for two weeks so I don’t know how long they will last but I’m hoping it’s a very long time.

The only true issue I had with them was being waterproof. we were having torrential rain one day and traveling the short distance from my car to the store left me with soaked feet. All in all I’m happy with them and will buy them again when I need a new pair.

I bought these to work a catering event that required skid free dress shoes. Price wise they seemed great. Real leather, non skid, gel lining, seemed like they were made just for the occasion I needed them for.

They ended up being very disappointing though and I knew I’d never be able to work in them. They’re too flat, the gel layer is very thin and after one day couldn’t even feel it any more. They’re also tight around the top of my feet.

I tried wearing them to break them in before the night, but no luck. They are leather though, so I’m still trying to make them work. Hoping the elastic on the top will stretch enough to stop hurting and also be able to fit my own inserts in.

i never go out of my way to write reviews, but i love these too much NOT to leave an amazing review. these are such a cute alternative to the doctors office clunky rubber clog work shoe that iw as scared i would have to get; they look like leather toms and i get so many compliments not hem.

not only do they fit perfectly, but they keep their shape over time and even maintain the fluffiness of the memory foam inserts (there are 2 for added support and customizable fit). aside from that aspect, THESE ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES.

if you work in retail or the like, you know the end of the day pain that makes you want to chop your legs off. i never thought i would find a pair of shoes that i was able to stand for 8+ hours in, but thee have answered all of my prayers.

Ive had them for about 6 months now and literally the only complaint i have is that these suckers trap foot smell in like no other, so definitely invest in some no show socks, and keep rubbing alcohol and baking powder on hand to freshen them up every couple weeks.

for 30$, Ill probably get a couple more pairs because i wear them so often and my feet can’t imagine another 8 hour shift without them. seriously. buy them.

I love these shoes!!!! This is my second pair. I had the first pair a full year. They didn’t even look that bad after that long waiting tables 4-5 days a week. The shoes held up great. Comfort level is definitely high on the scale.

If comfort is the only feature you are seeking, an actual non-slip sneaker would probably be a bit more comfortable for long days. I was looking for a more sleek and streamlined design. I wear skirts to work fairly often and wanted something that could be dressed up a little or go with Capri length pants as well.

These shoes fit the bill perfectly. A fabulous value at only $35.

Shoes is comfortable but started falling apart at 5th month of using. I work 30 hours a week in a coffee shop. If you’re looking for a cheap shoes, here you go. You get what you pay for. Won’t recommend.

I bought these 2 weeks ago and I have to be honest, I’m disappointed. In my line of work, I’m on my feet 7 hours out of the 7 hours and a half I work. I did some research on walking shoes and came across these shoes, I read reviews and all and they sounded promising.

Like I said previously, it’s been 2 weeks and I’ve stop using them and went back to my regular sneakers. They make a horrible squicky sound every step I made, as if I had stepped on sugar water. It was so bad that at work they ask me to wipe the bottom, bc it was annoying them aswell.

As for comfort I have to say that the heal part is ok but the flat part of my feet would literally feel like they were on fire the whole entire shift. I would have to take them off and step on the floor for awhile.

The fit was smaller than it should be. I order 1/2 size bigger and also wide and they were extremely tight even when using the max length of the laces.

I work in an area that non-slip shoes are essential! I had bought a pair elsewhere and even with Dr. Scholls in-soles my feet were hurting after a couple of hours. At the end of the work day, I could barely make it to my car! Then I found Mason Easy Pay o line and looked at several pair until I found these.

I talked to my husband and we decided to try. My feet are happy, which makes me happy, and my husband is estatic! They are wonderful. I bought two pair, and I see they come in other designs that I must get also.

I ordered these through my job in the Purple Celestial. To stand in them they are extremely comfortable, but NOT a WW width. The arch area is no good for someone like me that is almost flat footed. The width runs small.

I have tried to wear these hoping they would stretch out & they will not. They are also really hot to wear. I totally wasted my money on these.

This review is based on me going into the store, trying on a bunch of safety shoes and ultimately picking these. The Timberland Pro Radius in all black. While I was biased on Timberland, I was totally open to something else that was 1.

Affordable and 2. Comfortable. I was initially interested in the Timberland Powertrain model because they were cheaper. But after trying them on I noticed the insole in the back was too narrow and I felt it digging into the side of my heel.

I don’t have an overly wide heels or anything like that it’s just that the insole didn’t ride up on the sides as high as it should. You can change the insoles (which I thought about) but why add the extra cost.

This model, the Radius is amazing. If you can go into a store I would recommend doing that rather than buying online. Best to get the feel on your feet and walk around for a bit. I also want to mention that the staff were great and didn’t mind we walking around trying on a bunch of shoes.

The Radius are super comfortable and very light for a safety shoe. Not light like a regular pair of runners but light for a safety shoe. They are a bit more bulky in person compared to the pictures on the website.

No issue with that but this is why I say it’s best to go into a store. Also check for availability on the site to make sure they have your size in stock. I’m going to talk about cost because yes these are mid tier price but believe me, you get what you pay for.

I barely had enough money for these but I’m glad I went with them over a cheaper pair. I tried on the few $90 shoes and they do not compare in both comfort and build quality. Sizing: I am a 10 usually but sometimes a 10.

5. If you’re in the same boat, get a 10. They fit true. Same as the Powertrain model. They fit very nice. I do have to get used to not being able to stretch my toes like I am able to with my runners.

There’s a little bit of wiggle room. As with the other pairs I tried on. In terms of durability, they look like the can take a beating but obviously that will depend on what you’re doing while they’re on.

In conclusion: 1 – these are great, 2 – if you can, go into Mark’s and try them on for yourself. If you are only able to buy online, I assure you, these are your best bet. As far as the review above me RE Helly Hanson next time.

I tried a few HH on as well. They felt great but we’re more expensive. Also, the styling on the HH was not as nice as these. Hope this helps!.

I am not a fan of buying shoes (especially for work) without trying them on first. I have a wide foot and typically cannot find much flr wide shoes in regular retail stores. I liked the looks of these and decided to give these a go as they are a “wide” width.

Right out of the box, i am amazed at the all day comfort they provide. Its been years since i could wear work shoes/ boots without replacing the insole immediately and so far i havent had to change these.

Will have to wait and see how they stand up to the test of time. If you have a fat foot, id say definitely give these a good.

Comfortable ,lightweight, good for walking. Very fragile and not water resistant. The sole cracked after one month, my socks are soaked at the end of every work day. Wet grass or the smallest puddle mean wet feet for rest of day.

I suppose they’d be ok for indoor use. Worst and most expensive work shoes I’ve owned over past 20 years. Only good thing is my company reimbursed me for the waste of money I spent.

My teenage son purchased these for work In a restaurant. You can easily wipe the surface clean if something drops on the top of the shoe. Stay away from mesh shoes if you are going to be around food or lots of dirt.

He wears a size 12 regular. They only had a 12 wide in the store and it ended up fitting perfectly, so don’t let the wide option deter you if that is all that is available. These are slip resistant shoes with very small grooves on the bottoms.

Only complaint is food sticks in those grooves so he keeps the shoes on the screen porch after work – not in the house- if he didn’t, our dog would lick the food and yuck out otherwise! Great shoe for what is is made for.

Bought a few weeks ago. Needed something comfortable for work since I’m on my feet all day and possibly suffering from plantar fasciitis. Initially very comfy. But since I stand and walk over 8 to 10 hours a day, I had to add an additional insert after a couple weeks, which did help with comfort.

Besides that these are pretty good. Haven’t had much rain yet but these keep my feet pretty so far.

I bought these shoes just a short time ago, and have never worn them outside. The shoes are indeed comfortable, but have a few flaws which kind of ruin it for me somewhat. First of all, the tongue is too short.

When you go to tie the shoe, the knot winds up against your ankle because there is no tongue to tie it against. Which leads to the second problem, that the laces are way too long! So unless you want the bows of the laces hanging out the sides of the shoes, you have to double tie them.

Also, because it is a fabric and not leather, I can already see the shoe becoming distorted. I guess I will get used to it all, but I wish I did not have to.

This product is very much ok. I am really enjoying it, most especially how it feels inside.

Bought these shoes because they were 3E width, however when I tried them on they didn’t feel any different than the D width I was already wearing. Thought maybe it was just me and wore them to work anyway, big mistake.

I did put the shoe sole to sole against my D width shoe and there wasn’t any difference. If I hadn’t worn them to work, I would have returned them. Other than the width they are a nice shoe.

I have sent the shoes back because the toe cap is smaller than the width of the shoe on the inner side of the left shoe and digs into my foot. I am hoping that the pair you exchange them for is not way.

You can see the difference on the outside of the shoe as well as feel it on the inside. Can you have someone feel the inside of the new pair and see that this isn’t going to be an issue. It is like the manufacturer uses the same toe cap on the wide shoes as they do on a narrower shoe.

When doing heavy work, I wear Safety shoes. My last pair of Florsheim safety shoes were purchased when I still worked, in 2007. After retiring in 2008, I continued using the best of the two pair that I always used (alternating days) for work.

During the past year, while working on our city’s recycling trailer, I caught the soles of each shoe on sharp edges of the undercarriage and the sole sections went to pieces from it. I expect this pair to last me as long as I live.

I have had Florsheim safety shoes as long as I was aware that they existed. (Thanks to a catalog from a “Steel Toe” specialist. ) They are the MOST COMFORTABLE and enduring safety shoes I have worn in my entire lifetime of working in and around factories.

Super great shoe. I use these in heavy aerospace manufacturing and just ordered my 2nd pair after almost 3 years wearing them daily for up to 14 hrs per day. They are slip on and my last pair felt a little loose over time.

Picked up this next pair a ½ size smaller and I feel it will wear in just fine after some time.

This shoe has a professional look while feeling super casual on my husband’s feet. It was expensive, but the pair’s look and overall comfort were worth the price. My husband has wide, sensitive feet because he stands at work for long hours.

However, this shoe worked out so well for him because they aren’t snug on the sides of his feet, his heels, or press painfully close to his toes. Usually, he has difficulty finding well-fit, comfortable, smart looking shoes, so he was grateful I found these for him.

Good value. Note that if you have wide feet, you may want to try a wide version, as the toe box is relatively wide compared to a non-safety toe shoe, but not as wide as a similar style Redwing safety-toe shoe I had.

The Redwing fit better in this area, but this style of Redwing tends to fall apart after 3 months. We’ll see how this Florsheim hold up.

I am in the transportation industry so what I wear says a lot. I bought a work shoe from this site about 8 years ago and the style, quality, fit and durability was outstanding. However a new puppy ate the lining so I ordered two pair of these hoping to get the same features as before.

I love the style, fit and so far they seem durable. Quality, not so much the same because the lining in this shoe does not stay in place making it very uncomfortable when walking and driving. I miss the original shoe and for the price this should not be happening, but overall it’s a good shoe.

I have ordered this show for 30 years. It has been durable for me. I spend long hours on my feet. The shoe is comfortable with no break in period. I usually start breaking the molding of the leather down after two years of day in and day our use.

This is long before the sole accumulates any significant wear. That wear is due to the way that I walk and has nothing to do with the construction of the shoe which is excellent. I cannot recommend this shoe highly enough.

It is the only one that I wear for dress or work.

I have been wearing Mason shoes for 40 years in particular I wore the #600 shoe for over 30 years. These new shoes are similar to the old 600 shoe, but with different soles. These new soles wear out very quickly even though I work on carpet.

The insides of the shoes wear out quickly than I remember on past shoes. With the old #600, I could wear them for 4 or 5 years, the soles on these rounded over in a year. I would like the sole of the 600 back.

I like this shoe but I could not get the right size. I tried twice, first a 10 and then an 11. I need a half size, 10 1/2 and there isn’t one. Ten was too short and 11 too long. Either way There would have been blisters on my heels.

I wish they would make these in a mule style with no back. The inside has a comfortable, cushioned, removable insert. I usually purchase a wide in most of my shoes. These were a little snug on my foot.

So, I would say they are somewhere between a M and a W.

I bought these shoes for work. I work in security and have found these shoes to be comfortable. My only complaint is that the bottom of the slip resistant part came out of the shoe I had to super glue it back together.

But overall a very comfortable shoes.

I bought these shoes for gardening. It is a shame they run small. After a couple hours, I have to change shoes, these rub my heels, should of sent back. To bad they didn’t run in half sizes. They are a nice rain shoe, too.

I bought these to try to stay safe working as a server in a restaurant, walking in and out of kitchens can get greasy! Overall these are light and comfortable and they stretch with your stride nicely.

My only issue is the anti slip tread is very tightly built which is probably to keep debris out of it however it lets the flour, grease, food bits build up and I have to super clean the bottoms every couple of shifts or I’m sliding all over! I’m still happier to have something with arch support than what I was wearing prior.

Great Lightweight work shoes. These are a nice shoe, extremely lightweight. In my case, the heel is too loose and I will have to return, but I have this issue with many shoes. If you have trouble finding supportive and lightweight shoes, give these a try!.

Bought these for my daughter who works in the food and beverage industry and she loves them. It’s her second pair. First pair lasted 6-7 months. She struggled with plantar fasciitis and these helped a lot.

I am always Leary about buying clothes or shoes online. I’m a try before you buy kind of Guy, but these shoes are awesome! Delivered in a timely manner and are extremely comfortable. Bought these because work requires all employees to wear steel toe or composite shoes to be on the production floor.

Co-workers must like them because I have been approached by 2-3 coworkers about how nice my shoes are. Working in sales, this shoe provides the perfect business, yet casual look.

I have a wide foot and high instep and accordingly ordered a wide shoe. However the description of the shoe fails to describe that yhis show is made so that the tongue of the shoe is not only attached to the shoe down toward the toe, but is also fully attached inside the shoe to the each side of the shoe allowing no movement of the tongue making it impossible for me to even slide my foot into thd shoe.

I’m returning this shoe and changing for something else.

The shoes are really light. I had some issue with the back of the shoes – it hurts my ankle. I had to cut prat of the sowing in order to be more comfortable – it fells good now. I’d recommend the designers to re-evaluate the sowing portion of the back by the pull tab.

These are the most comfortable and best looking steel toe shoes I have ever worn. They are very light and you honestly cant tell they are steel toes like others I have had. I have only warn owned them for a week now but am very impresses and they seem like they will hold up very well.

My biggest complaint with other steel toe shoes is that they feel so bulky and heavy, not the case with these at all! Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a safety shoe that can go from the production floor and office with no compromise.

Most comfortable safety toes I’ve owned so far, and the composite toe makes them light enough to not even really be noticeable as safety shoes. The length feels accurate, but I did have to exchange the first pair as the fit was too narrow (and I’ve never had to buy shoes “wide” before,) so just be aware that these are pretty narrow.

But the wides fit comfortably.

very comfortable shoes. i only wish they laced a little higher. they’re made to be a slip on shoe. being able to lace them higher would make them feel more secure on the foot. they are light weight and honestly more durable than i thought they’d be.

As a lady working at a mens clothing store I like to have my own little take on menswear. I’m also on my feet between 10-16 hours a day. So they must be comfortable! These are all that and then some… add funky socks, a blazer and jeans and I’m ready to go for the day.

I’m normally a 37. 5 in OOAS (over a dozen pairs of shoes) and find in these I needed to go to a wide width. Length is perfect. I’m normally a average width for reference.

I call these my feel good shoes because I put them on and every time I look down it makes me smile. Worth every penny and cheaper than therapy! My intention when I bought them was to save them for a special event I have coming up however, I have already worn them a dozen times.

I am a true size 8 and these 38. 5 fit perfectly. No break in period for me, they were comfortable right out of the box.

The Mr Evans is an ultimate classic that is extremely versatile. To me, they were worth the splurge. I would love if there were an option with a slightly softer sole. Wearing them for too long does tend to hurt my knees! I’m marking that they run a bit small because I’m usually an 8 an had to go a half size up.

This is my third pair of Scotties! My first pair were Mr. Muffin cut outs about a year ago, followed by a pair of boots. The Ms. Presleys are just perfect… I have a slightly wider foot so the Rock last platform has been perfect for me in terms of comfort and fit.

With other brands, I usually wear a slightly larger shoe to accommodate the width of my foot. This platform allows me to wear true to size. These shoes are really smart; they look great with a work suit, but they also look great with my casual frayed jeans.

As always, the craftsmanship of Angela Scott shoes is exceptional… I marvel at every little detail that doesn’t show up in the web photos, and makes these shoes simply gorgeous. Yes they are expensive.

I’ve learned that you get what you pay for, and these are shoes that will last you probably a decade or more.

This was my first pair of TOOAS and I bought them to go with everything. But after wearing them and loving them I bought 4 more pairs of TOOAS in all different styles and colors and I actually wear a different pair every day.

I have a job that requires me to be on my feet, moving around all day (teacher) and my feet and legs would be aching every night. Not any more! My investment in my Scotts was worth every penny!.

These are as yummy as pictured, stories told and footage seen. I have been obsessed about trying a pair since I first saw this woman-owned, hand-crafted shoe/business. My parents always believed in taking care of your teeth 🙂 AND investing in high quality shoes.

Quality comes with a price so it took some time to jump – but they have arrived. I love classic with a twist, and these are on point (go anywhere black oxford with beautiful punch detail and OAS signature sole color detail).

The fit: I was cautious about Ms. Presley as it was noted that because I have a slimmer foot I may want to order down a size (much appreciated advise) HOWEVER, these are lace up – so I knew I would have some control – and I have a need for a slightly roomy toe box area as my big toe nails can get irritated (TMI?).

I am a true 9. 5 in length so all things considered I ordered 9. 5 and it was the right decision for me. Helpful?: Because of the thick, quality leather sole – rarely seen now-a-days – they are a bit stiff at first (YAY!), but quickly gain flex.
