Purchased these to see if Orthofeet shoes were a lower price alternate to another brand I have been wearing. YES, they are equal in comfort and appear to be comperable in quality to the other brand. Orthofeet pricess run about 40% lower.

Can’t speak to durability yet but the shoes appear to be well made with materials of equal quality. I highly recommend these shoes and will purchase more from Orthofeet.

I am very pleased with the shoes i got. I have a very sorry Achilles an with the support I got plus a heal pad I can walk almost pain free with my dog everyday on his walk. They are his adventure and take awhile and cover a good distance.

I bought this shoe in brown on 2-10-2021. So it has been 14 months since. I like the shoe and it is comfortable. I have neuropathy in both feet, the right being worse. The shoes don’t cure anything but help somewhat.

My problem is that the velcro on the right shoe has worn so that it doesn’t close/fasten anything like it did. I do like the velcro fastening way of putting on the shoe better than having to tie the shoes.

I typically wear flat sole leather shoes and haven’t ever found a pair of sneakers that I liked, but sometimes they are needed for certain activities. I saw the shreveport shoe and thought it may be a good compromise with the leather uppers.

They are comfortable and the company was very good about exchanging for a different size as I found them to be a little tight for the size 10 that I usually wear. However I find them to be too hot at times with all that rubber & cushioning on the sole area and the fit seems to be disproportioned within specific sizes.

I initially ordered size 10 my normal size, and found the right shoe too tight & but the left was perfect. I reordered size 10. 5 and the left doesn’t seem any different, still perfect (I expected it to be loose) but now the right is too loose, go figure? At any rate I’m keeping them because they’re better than sneakers.

I have used different sole supports in the past, but with recent problems with planter’s fasciitis I needed more relief. I ran across your ad and was impressed with the assortment and detailed information.

I don’t normally take chances on products without seeing them in person, but I felt pretty confident this would help my foot condition. I was correct. These shoes are helping me primarily at work where I spend a lot of time walking on concrete floors.

After suffering an ankle injury 5 yrs. ago, I have struggled to find a pair of shoes that allow me to walk pain free, until now. They were comfortable from the first day with no gradual break-in period what-so-ever.

I am so happy with them that I returned for a pair of sandals and a pair of slippers, all equally comfortable. I am definitely a fan of Orthofeet shoes.

I am a person with late-stage diabetes compounded by a broken Fema bone. I have been unable to walk since my accident even the though the leg has finally healed. I recently replaced my store bought medical shoe with the Ortofeet shoe.

I was walking 4 to 5 miles six days a week. One morning upon awaking and proceeding to get out of bed to take a step, I felt an unusual pain in my left heel with some pain in my arch,thus, I could hardly walk.

I limped on my painful foot, but I had to stop walking because I couldn’t tolerate the pain in my heel. I limped with pain for about three months. I stumbled across a website advertising Orthofeet. I was so desperate for some relief,, I decided to order a pair and a couple pairs of their white socks.

These shoes are the best! I have been suffering with back pain for a long time. It has affected my quality of life and I not been able to go places and do the things I wanted to do, but thanks to these shoes, I am now able to actually walk around flea markets and stores without pain and am enjoying life again with my sister and daughter.

Love my Orthofeet shoes! I was having a lot of back,hip,knee and shin pain. Didn’t want to get into prescription pain medication but needed relief and decided that with a 60 day satisfaction guarantee what could I lose.

My first outing in my Orthofeet shoes was an all day shopping trip. I was surprised how comfortable the shoes are and that I didn’t suffer the usual pains and sleepless night after walking on concrete floors all day.

I wear them at home and everywhere I go. I watch the website for availability of a couple other styles I like.

My oorthopaedic doctor told me I needed to get supportive shoes. I have Ortho sneakers but didn’t want to wear them almost winter so chose the Wichita stretch. I am not a sturdy shoe person so these are not what I would have chosen for looks but they felt great right out of the box.

My arthritis pain is gone and the rubbing irritation I was getting from my regular shoes is gone. I wear them every day, all day and they are wonderful. I highly recommend them.

I’ve been a diabetic for 20 years and I didn’t develop Peripheral Nueropathy until 4 years ago, and it has consistently gotten worse since that time. Typically my feet burn up and ache when I have shoes and socks on.

I have wide feet, and have always tried to wear quality shoes in X-Wide widths, which are sometimes hard to find, especially in a style you like. This Winter as i needed a new pair of boots, i began the cycle of ordering and returning boots, which is very time consuming, not to mention the inconvenience.

After ordering and returning 3 pairs of boots, I decided to try my first pair of OrthoFeet Hunter Boots, in Brown, and the Xtra Wide (4E) width. Now after nearly a month with my Hunters, I can honestly say that they are the roomiest, most comfortable boots I’ve owned since becoming a diabetic 20 years ago.

Inside, they are nicely padded and soft, with a very comfortable insole, to which I added the 1/8th inch spacer-insert underneath, to give me the feel and fit that I was looking for. As for the durability, I’ll have to get back with you in a year or so, but I have no reason to expect anything less than great, so its 5 Stars all the way from me! The only thing that that I wish were different, is that they be made in the USA, with USA sourced materials, then there wouldn’t be any supply chain issues.

I have plantar fasciitis and wanted to try out Orthofeet. I needed a good pair of outdoor walking boots for winters. It took a couple of weeks to get the right fit. They fit bigger than other shoes I use.

However with all of the inserts and extra arch supports I ended up with a very comfortable fit. Still a little large which puts them at a 4. But the boot is comfortable, easy to walk with, doesn’t slip, provides solid arch support, is dry and warm and I’ve walked in them several times good distances.

I’m very happy with this purchase so far. After one month they are holding up and we’ve had some wet, sloppy winter conditions. I’d recommend them. But give it time in the beginning, follow the instructions to get a good fit and try the different inserts.

My son has VERY wide feet. During high school we spent an entire day going to shoe stores looking for a pair of dress shoes that would fit his feet. He was so discouraged and upset that we had tried on so many shoes and went to so many stores and he could find nothing that fit that when we eventually found a pair, I paid $186!!! because he was so happy to find shoes and I felt so bad for him.

Needless to say, his feet have not shrunk, so when he wanted boots I was scared I would never find a pair to fit. We tried his normal size shoe in the 4E and they are actually too big! He needs a 1/2 size smaller.

We must always be buying a size a little too large to give him the added width and he didnt need it in these shoes. They are very well made and he really likes them. He wanted more of a hiking boot and the tread on the bottom is a little smoother than he wanted but to be able to find a boot that will fit is amazing.

Generally I hate boots, but living in a snow, snow and more snow they are a necessary evil. I have been wearing Orthofeet gym shoes and sandals for about a year and love them so i figured so i ordered a pair of boots for myself, and my daughter who suffered catastrophic injuties to her feet and ankles/legs 4 years ago and finally walking on 2 feet.

Because she has hardware (metal) in both ankles the cold weather is brutal for her and the shape of her feet has changed dramatically. These boots are by far the best investment ever made! The fit is perfect, the arch orthotic for arch is perfect and the fur lining is heaven! It totally keeps her ankles warm, relieving pain from cold hardware.

I no longer hate boots and my daughter has worn them constantly. Her trauma surgeon as well as her pain management Dr. intend to start recommending Orthofeet to their patients.

My feet are always cold in the winter & you never know what the weather is going to be like in the Philadelphia area; but the temperature can go down into the teens or single digits, even if it doesn’t snow.

These boots have a fur lining & not just fur trim so they are very warm; no more frozen toes for me. The boots are too heavy for indoors, so I suggest you take lighter weight shoes for walking around in a mall.

The sizing is accurate, I always wear a 6 wide, which I almost always have to order online. The boots do have wiggle room for your toes. You should size up a half size if you want to wear thick socks, you really won’t need heavy socks for warmer feet in these boots.

The Camel color are not water proof, so I used a spray made for suede to protect them.

As soon as I put these boots on I was in love! So comfortable and just perfect for my problem feet. I bought these for my winter shoes to replace my Uggs/Emu Ridge/ Bearclaw type boots I’ve been wearing ( and loving) for years.

I never write a review. I have the best intentions but, I always forget. I have been a server for over 40 years. During the last several years I have developed heel spurs, one in each foot. Unfortunately, I have developed plantar fasciitis in each foot as well.

I have had cortisone shots in each foot in order to alleviate the heel spur pain, and to help shrink the swelling from the fasciitis. I have tired so many home remedies, but to no avail it was useless.

I needed relief. I bought shoes that did not help with the foot pain, a waste of money! I work in manufacturing now (12 hour shifts) on a floor that shows no mercy. I was in pain by the end of each day.

I feel as though I have got my life back!!!!! I will be looking into casual shoes as well. I am done with department store shoes/name brand shoes or shoes that will not serve me well. I WILL BE BUYING MORE BOOTS AND WILL EXPLORE THE CASUAL SHOES AS WELL.

It’s not Winter or even Fall yet in TN but I keep wanting to put these boots on in the morning because they are sooo comfortable! I used the inner arch support because of my high arches and that was all I needed.

I ordered my regular size, 7. 5, taking a chance that I wouldn’t need an 8 based upon the information and reviews. Perfect fit! Plenty of toe room to wiggle, arch just right with the added support, padded around the ankle where mine are narrow and I can lace as tightly as needed for snug fit.

I walked around in the house the first day because at first with a heavy sock, I thought they might be too small but wearing a less heavy sock and adjusting the laces, I can wear any of my socks and be comfortable! Great boot!.

I bought these boots to do yardwork. I had been wearing athletic shoes with an orthodic insert, and my feet were not happy. I read the reviews for these boots and thought they might be the solution for what to wear.

Today I wore these boots while doing the first yardwork for the season, and they are incredible. I had awesome support for my ankles and great arch support. They were so comfortable too, and cleaned up easily.

Forget the gardening clogs and tennis shoes and get these boots. They are terrific!.

I bought these slippers as a gift for my husband. He has diabetes, and suffers from nerve pain in his feet. In addition, his feet are always cold to a point where he has a difficult time focusing. These slippers are extremely soft and warm.

They have decent arch support as well as being as non-skid as a slipper can be. My hubby has some extra wide, ‘pie-tin’ feet and we were able to get these in wide so they fit just perfect. He rarely takes them off and wears them out while running errands.

He has NEVER liked any kind of shoe/clothes as much as he’s liked these slippers. I got the idea of slippers from MyPillow and my mother bought my father slippers from them. The slippers were about the same price but the Orthofeet slippers are SO MUCH better – we even did a side by side comparison.

So if you want comfortable and warm – these are the slippers for you!!!.

Excellent quality. I have wide feet due to swelling and a very high instep. I have purchased many pairs of slippers from various web sites in coding Amazon and have had to return all of the for fit! These Tuscany slippers in wide are the perfect fit in all ways.

The tie string on the top of all moccasin style slippers is not just for design, the string can actually be used to adjust the instep height and the stiff back of the slippers makes it very easy to slip on without bending over.

Due to surgeries, I have to have shoes and slippers that I can slip my feet into and not worry about them falling off. This slipper solves all of the problems. Excellent slipper.

I have had many pairs of slippers but none that are as comfortable and substantial as my OrthoFeet pair. I have bone spurs in my heels and have needed orthotics in all my shoes for thirty years to alleviate the discomfort of the spurs.

But putting the orthotics in my slippers has never been satisfactory. With the OrthoFeet slippers and one of the two extra insoles and the arch support provided with the slippers, I don’t have to use my orthotics.

The slippers are well constructed and will likely last a long time. I have worn the slippers outside as well as in with no issues. I recommend the slippers over any I’ve had in the past.

I would like to say they are as advertised. Meaning, you are getting wuality in this shoe. I will admit to liking them so much that I have now purchased 4 of thee soes. Different types, like for everyday wear, to my dress shoes.

I was not sure of the velcores , but i bought a pair and they are great for my swollen feet. I have not been disappointed with any of the shoes I bought.

While I have only used these shoes for a few days, I am very happy with the fit and feel while wearing the shoes. My only is I did not realize there were Velcro straps on both the sides of the outside of the shoe.

This is great for adjusting the fit, but I wonder if the inside straps will stay put over time. Thank you for making and offering great shoes.

I bought these for my husband who must wear “polishable” shoes for a job at which he is on his feet for 10 hours a day. He was buying shoes from Walmart and had thick calluses forming on the bottoms of his toes, “flat feet” and his feet hurt constantly.

But he refused to consider shopping for better shoes because he thought we could not afford them and he liked the look of the shoes he was wearing even if they were hurting his feet. I saw an advertisement for your shoes on facebook.

He was skeptical, but he liked the styles you had available. I finally convinced him that spending a little extra money was worth it if it would make his feet feel better. Right away on day one he noticed a difference in how his feet felt at the end of the work day.

Every day his feet feel better. And no more calluses forming! The multiple inserts allowed him to adjust to a perfect fit. His words: “These are awesome shoes! ” High quality at a price we could afford.

I previously tried a pair of SOLE footbeds (not sure what kind) in a pair of ski boots and unfortunately, they were SO firm and hurt my feet so badly! My partner had recommended the brand because he swears by them for arch support.

I assumed the ones he uses were firm as well, so I had this idea in my head that all of their footbeds were just hard and firm and not for me. But, one day I saw an ad on Facebook for SOLE sandals that prompted me to look around on the website and I soon realized this was not the case at all! So, I bought these ones on a whim because they were on such a good sale.

I put them in a pair of Bogs winter boots that I wear every single day for everything from going to work to dog walks to shoveling snow, and I’ve got to say. I’m very impressed with how cushy and comfortable they feel! I also never realized the benefits of having a MET pad, and I really like the feel of it.

The only issue I have so far is that I find they seem to always be a bit damp in my boots. Of course, Bogs aren’t exactly a breathable boot so this plays a HUGE factor in that, but I’m constantly having to take them out to dry.

I honestly thought they’d perform a bit better in this area. (The footbeds that came with my boots never seemed to feel as damp all the time. ) Also, the size 5 is just a bit too small for my size 5-5.

5 feet (size 6 wasn’t available) so my toes do stick out over the front just the tiniest bit. But it’s enough that I can feel the edge of the footbed if I don’t have them placed just right in my boots.

This is NOT a fault with the product. just disappointed they aren’t available in a 6!.

I’m on my 3rd pair of SOLE Active Wides & they’re definitely the best insoles I’ve come across. I run 30 miles a week, mostly on the road, at paces from 5:30-8:30/mile. I wear Altras for both road & trail, and I use one pair of these insoles for every 2 pairs of shoes.

The Good: A problem I’ve always had with running footwear is compression in the ball of the foot leading to weirdness in my stride or lots of discomfort over time. These insoles are so dense that the above compression isn’t an issue.

I’m putting 400-500 miles on each pair of shoes (800-1000 miles per pair of insoles) now without any stride-altering compression in either the shoe midsole or the insole itself. I’m considering using them for a 3rd pair of shoes actually, because after 1000 miles the biggest sign of wear is discoloration where my foot contacts the insole, rather than deterioration of the insole itself.

The Bad: They’re really hard. If you like a cushy running shoe experience this is NOT that. But if you’re looking for a great springboard to push off of mile after mile after mile, these are your insoles.

10/10 would recommend.

My feet are terrible and I need full-foot support, not just sole-support. I have tried the meshy/knit sneakers (Francis and Coral styles) and those didn’t last very long (barely 6 months). Those are great for sole-support only.

Then I saw the Whitney and with it being all-leather, went for it. The leather is stiff enough to be something akin to a foot brace. Its like Spanx for your feet! The Whitney took only 1. 5 weeks to break in (essentially heel realignment) but the overall foot felt better immediately.

Conclusion: if you only need sole-support, feel free to try out either the leather or the meshy style sneakers. If you need something akin to a foot brace (like an ankle brace feels on a sprained ankle), go for an all-leather style.

I also prefer the lace-ups. The no-tie work fine, but they can get loose and I ended up tightening them a bunch every day anyway (because my feet are so bad–probably wouldn’t have noticed it if I was just looking for sole support).

So laces it is. I never take these off. I would sleep in them if I could. Since they’re white with some designs on the side, they look like standard sneaks, and not like nurse shoes. I’m pretty confident I will wear Whitneys every day here on out until the day I die.

I was looking for a comforatable shoe for walking. I’m planning on a trip that will involve a lot of walking and wanted to get started with a routine. I bought a national brand but they were too tight even though I bought a half of size up.

The whitney shoe was a stark contrast. I have narrow feet and so I do like a narrow shoe but I don’t like my feet and toes to feel crunch which I felt with the other brand. These however have the added benefit of giving you a wider area for your toes.

I usually buy a half size up in sneakers to make sure of a comfy fit and with the smaller added insole that comes with the shoes the fit feels perfect. The shoes are very comfortable for walking. The shoe is very well made.

I like the leather upper and it looks great on. The benefit of the added insole is that if you have a heavier sock you can always remove it. All around I’m very satisfied with this shoe and look forward to wearing it on vacation.

I have had foot pain as a result of flat feet, recurring tendonitis and a bunion for many, many years. I also wear wide to double wide shoes. Last year I tried a pair of orthofeet sandals and they are the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever worn.

So I tried these sneakers and within 3 days the lateral foot pain along the side of my right foot, plus the pain on top of my foot, completely resolved. Will this be permanent? I don’t know, but I now live in these shoes.

Highly recommend. Orthofeet, PLEASE make these shoes in something more than just black or white, and make more leather sneakers. The woven/mesh sneakers offer NO support to those who over- or under-pronate or need greater stability for whatever reason.

I emailed the company to see if shoes for true to size, they are. My father is 89, diabetic, and a Veteran. He was constantly falling. The shoes arrived in 8 days. I already had purchased diabetic socks for him.

He has not fallen once! FYI Only, you cannot just buy a pair of shoes because diabetics tend to wear “regular” socks. So they are creating numbness in the calf and ankle area. This creates a perfect storm of instability for a fall.

We were in there ER 3 x, the doctors could leave an impression with their index finger on my father’s calves. Each told us, socks are too tight! New socks, new shoes. All is good! Thank you.

This is my second pair from Orthofeet, the first being a tie shoe, this having a velcro closure. I was a bit concerned with the velcro closure, and with most new shoes, they need to be broken in. The first day I wore them all day with no issues.

I’m diabetic and the wider toe box makes the shoe more comfortable for me. I’m having a hard time giving up my other pair of Orthofeet shoes, which are now about 3 years old, so I do alternate, I have 3 other older pairs of shoes, different brands, that look brand new because they never get worn.

Just not as comfortable as the Orthofeet.

I just purchased my 2nd pair of the Springfield Stretch (Black) shoes by OrthoFeet. And why did I do this? Well, I have lymphedema in my lower legs and feet. I have a bunion on my left foot. I have what I call “Franken Feet.

” They’re ugly and they hurt from Neuropathy. So when I find a shoe that fits like a dream, what did you expect me to do? These shoes have never changed shape, they don’t stretch out and look funky. they look the same as the day I bought them.

And they are amazingly comfortable. So if you have “Franken Feet” I would highly recommend purchasing these OrthoFeet shoes.

this was my first time to order online from OrthoFeet. the shoes arrived promptly and fit. i have extreme bunions and need extra space in the toe box so i ordered the extra wide. my bunion is accommodated, however the shoes are wide over the instep.

if i pull the strap snug enough to eliminate the gap it is too long and touches the floor. the stretch fabric is a nice feature for fit, but i am concerned that they shoes will scuff or show signs of wear because they can’t be polished.
