Your longest runs and full marathons just got a little smoother. The Cloudstratus injects another level of cushioning to your run, with a re-designed double layer of energy-boosting pods. The second rendition has an updated fit, with a wider forefoot and improved heel over the previous version.
The whole package is impressively breathable for pushing the limits of distance and devotion. Upper uses breathable knit mesh (75% recycled content) and asymmetric overlays to wrap your foot. Adaptive first-layer sockliner for a smooth fit.
Helion superfoam delivers a smooth ride with soft landings and energy-filled toe offs. Integrated speedboard imparts a natural flex and rocker, encouraging a smooth roll off. Speedboard reinforcement in the forefoot provides extra responsiveness.
CloudTec pods compress under impact to absorb shock and provide responsive energy return. Rubber reinforced outsole improves durability in urban training environments.
I’ve been running in Hoka One One’s for years (Clifton’s, Challengers and currently Bondi 7). I’ve always liked their very comfortable cushion ride but rarely liked their “look”. I tried On shoes a few years ago and although I loved their look, they just didn’t have the cushioning that Hoka’s had.
I love the look of the CloudStratus and since it’s On’s “most cushioned” shoe, I decided to give them a try. Initial impressions were good. Walking around, they felt very comfortable. However, as soon as I started to run, I felt the stiffness immediately in the front/mid foot area.
I even switched to more cushioned insoles (Soft Sole) and I could still feel the stiffness. Maybe they will break in after some mileage, but I didn’t want to wait to find out. especially at the high price point.
I’m older (almost 55), run 20-25 miles a week as part of my cross training and consider myself a “heavy” runner; thereby have always loved cushioned shoes. These just didn’t work for me.
I have wide feet and plantar fascitis and these shoes have been the only pair that have worked really well for me. I can run without getting that pain in my foot and the toebox width is really nice for how wide my feet are (Nike’s are painfully narrow, New Balance E width is only okay).
The cushioning on these shoes aren’t super squishy as they claim, but it’s a comfortable firm. If you’re looking for Ultraboost levels of cushioning, this isn’t the shoe for you. What I found interesting is that the upper has a remarkable quality of being able to reflect the color temperature of the light you’re in.
I specifically mean color temperature because indoors in incandescent lighting, it appears that beige colour depicted on the website and the On website. Most times it reflects a blueish hue of daylight 5600k temperatures.
I would absolutely get these shoes again especially since On Cloud seems to be the only shoes that works with my plantar fasciitis.
The On-fan favorite re-engineered with 44% recycled content, improved fit and even more comfort than ever before. Experience serious comfort with On’s patented CloudTec cushioning in Zero-Gravity foam.
Designed for soft landings and powerful push offs. Light in weight. Light on environmental impact. Updated with 44% recycled materials, breathable antimicrobial mesh and taped reinforcements. Forget about tying knots.
The Cloud’s speed lacing system locks you in instantly. Want classic laces? There’s a pair of those in the box too.
This shoe has to be one of my favorite shoes! They are very lightweight, comfortable, breathable, and I walk very naturally in them. My only complaint is that they run small. I am true and true a size 7 and my toe is right at the tip and I seriously considered returning them for half a size bigger but I am hoping they stretch just a little bit the more I wear them.
My feet are also fairly narrow and the shoe fits just right. Also, the bottom of the shoes pick up rocks because of the wide spacing, so I can imagine if you live where there are a lot of pebbles, it might get annoying picking rocks out of your shoes all the time.
I’ve worn them for about a week and overall a very good shoe and I think they are slightly better than my Salomons.
I usually buy the Cloudswift but I couldn’t resist this color! It’s so pretty for summer. I wear an 8. 5 in most running shoes but took a 9 in these – the sizing with On is pretty inconsistent (great shoes though).
I have flat feet that are wide in the front but narrow at the heel so it’s hard to find shoes that fit right but these are great!.
Purchased this for a trip this summer. They look great. They were a little snug at first and they feel different than my other sneakers. A few times walking in the neighborhood has broken them in. Now they are quite comfortable.
From hitting a wall to hitting your stride, the Brooks Ghost 14 delivers smooth cushioning to every step. The updated Ghost 14 features full-length DNA Loft midsole foam for the most cushioned feel yet.
DNA Loft foam is super soft and springy for a light, responsive ride as you run. The new midsole foam works with a Segmented Crash Pad for rolling transitions from heel to toe. Brooks designers also tuned the Ghost 14 upper for a more snug, supportive feel up top.
Brooks 3D Fit Print creates a flexible structure that contours to your footrsquos natural movement as you run. This helps the engineered knit mesh hug your foot where you need it, and prevents chafing and uncomfortable rubbing.

Full disclosure: I just use these for walking, not running, so I can’t speak to their performance there. But for my needs, they’re great. I was looking for a wide sneaker that would accommodate my orthotics but not look like bricks on my feet (ahem Hokas).
I also need a fair amount of cushioning because of an injury. I was so happy that these met both criteria while looking like an everyday sneaker! Also love that they’re (marketed as) carbon neutral! Yay Brooks! A note about sizing: I tried these on in a store in my size, 8.
5, and they were a good fit, but the store only had blue and I wanted all-black. Altitude thankfully had them in stock (and hooray for the member discount!) but when they arrived, the 8. 5 felt small.
So I exchanged them for a 9, which fits great. Don’t know if that’s the case for just the all-black vs blue but thought I’d mention it for the sake of other buyers!.
I was so excited when I saw the fantastic colors on this shoe. However I was tremendously disappointed with the lack of quality and how uncomfortable it was. I have serious back issues and neuropathy in my legs and feet.
These are the only sneakers I can wear. The cost is always an inconvenience so I have to look at it as an investment for my health. In person the shoe simply looks cheap. Then when you put it on it is hard and no support or cushion.
I was crushed that I had to return these. I ended up buying another pair of the ghost 13’s in mens. I didn’t like the color selection but at least I knew that they fit and are comfortable. Please go back to the ghost 10, 12 or 13 format.
Quit cutting corners in making a new version. The new colors and offering more options in wide for women is the way to go. I have 3 pairs of ghosts but if you don’t improve your future models you will be losing a customer and that makes me sad.

I bought these “Run Lucky” edition of the Ghost 14 running shoe. The look of these were what sold them to me. I’ve just switched over from another popular manufacturer and so far, have nothing but positive feedback for these.
My wife runs (a lot more than I do!) and has only used Brooks for the past number of years, covering well in excess of 1000km/year. All her Brooks shoes last a long time, so I have similar high expectations of the Ghost.
Purchasing from Start Fitness was quick and easy. I missed out on a 10% discount by a number of hours (tried to buy them in the early hours of the morning on 1st September and the code ran out at midnight, at the end of August!).
That aside, the postage was quick and stress-free. I would purchase from Start Fitness again, and I will purchase Brooks again.
Low-profile performance running shoe Engineered mesh upper is breathable and lightweight Full lace closure Padded collar for extra support DNA LOFT midsole cushioning is durable and soft Rubber outsole for traction on running surfaces The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22 is imported.

Workout 5-6 days a week, combination of high intensity workouts, cardio and weights. Work as a nurse and on my feet a lot. Provide awesome support and comfort.
Honestly, I’ve been hesitant to purchase Brookes for years. Finally decided to pull the trigger and I am super happy I did!! They are so comfy and made so well!!
Known for over twenty years as a runner favorite, these supportive running shoes continue to deliver. Designed to offer a perfect balance of support and softness, the women’s Adrenaline GTS 22 offers a smooth ride plus comfort that’s ready for any run.
Smart support All our running shoes prioritize comfort, but our GuideRails technology adds support by keeping excess movement in check. So you stay in your natural stride, even when you get tired. Soft cushioning Updated midsole is now 100% DNA LOFT cushioning for a soft, smooth ride.
Smooth transitions The new soft midsole and Segmented Crash Pad team up for easier flow from landing to toe-off.
I’m a longtime wearer of the Adrenaline GTS line. I like the fit and they give me the support I need. I feel that this version is good but not as great as the 21. When I put in a new pair of the 21’s it was like I had clouds on my feet.
The 22 are more stuff and not as cushiony. My feet are aching after wearing them and I’m considering switching to a new brand. I plan to give them a few more wears before deciding but the 22 are not as good as the 21 in my mind.
The Men’s Nike Flex Experience 11 Running Shoe are comfortably zen just like every run should be. Mesh upper in a running shoe style with a round toe. Lace up front. Padded collar and tongue. Smooth lining with a padded insole.
made with at least 20% recycled content by weight. Durable rubber outsole.
Hit the road and rack up the miles with these women’s Scorch Runner sneakers from PUMA. In a Black colourway, these sneaks have a light, breathable textile upper with synthetic overlays for premium comfort and support as you push those PB’s.
They sit on a responsive foam midsole for supreme cushioning while the grippy rubber tread brings durable traction to your run. With a SoftFoam+ sockliner for an ultra-snug feel, these kicks have a tonal lace up fastening and padded ankle collar that locks you in.
With a heel and tongue tab for easy on-and-off, these creps are topped off with PUMA branding to the tongue, heel and toe.
Out of the three pairs of shoes I bought during this order, by far and away this pair are the best. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and didn’t require breaking in. Will buy Pumas exclusively from now on I think!.

After buying a pair of the Coudventure and really liking the fit, comfort and quality I decided to give their road running shoes a try. I own and have worn running shoes from all the major brands and now after getting in several runs in with the Cloudswift they are my go to running shoes.
They are relatively light at 11. 4oz/323g in my size 46 and that is light for a non-racing shoe. I have an average width foot and these fit just right with just enough room in the toe box and I have no problem getting in a good lockdown.
The ride is stable and responsive without being too soft ( I like cushioning as a heel striker but do not like squishy shoes ) I would say these are comfortable firm. I have no trouble picking up the pace if I want to and going around corners or down steep hills is not a problem.
I am a neutral runner but find that shoes like these with some support help by gate and rhythm. At this time I am a convert and after switching shoes on various runs to compare with the Cloudswift I just reach for these every run, and have donated several other gently used shoes to the local thrift shop.
Whether you’re a Glider or Gazelle, stride out with ultimate comfort and stability in the adidas Ultraboost 22. With the adidas Primknit+ that hugs your foot and the responsive Boost midsole for impeccable energy return, enjoy a ceaseless run in these shoes.

Made with a high-performance yarn that contains at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic and 50% recycled polyester. Regular fit design allows enough room for your feet. Soft heel fit adds running comfort. Continental rubber outsole grips in wet and dry conditions.
I have heel issues and am constantly on the look for comfy shoes. I had been aware of these particular shoes for a while, but they had always been just too expensive for me. Then they came on sale at Very and I had a money off code so I too the plunge.
I’m so glad I did, they are fabulous, straight out of the box they are so comfortable. They hug your foot with their lovely padded sides and are great underfoot. I swapped out the insole for a cheap memory foam insole and I sink deep into the heel with every step, pain free.
While they hug you foot, the toebox is really big and roomy, I could probably wear them without laces. With my foot issues, I never wear a pair of shoes 2 days in a row, I wore these for 4 days in a row and had zero issues, I will probably live in these shoes until they fall off my feet, then I’ll buy another pair, even at full price, they are that good.
I’ve owned 2 pairs of laceless Adidas in the past; the original Nemezis and X18+. After being a victim to the poor lockdown, I went back to the Vapor for its lockdown and feeling and said I’d never buy another Laceless shoes again.
That being said, I tried these on in a local shop and was blown away (bought them). The lockdown is fantastic and convinced me. These cleats feel like the continuation of the Adidizero F50 more so then any X.
The touch is extremely clean due to the laceless construction and the sole plate is the best I’ve ever owned. Compared to a pair of Vapors, this cleat is much more comfortable and offers much more natural feeling on the ball.
With this cleat being laceless, this cleat will never have the same level of Locke down as a vapor because of the laceless design, but still is as close as you can get for a laceless. To me this is an acceptable compromise because the touch on the ball is so pure as its one paper thin material going around your foot that just feels more natural then any other cleats out their.
Adidas probably would have been better off calling this an Adidizero F50 cause that’s what it is. Heads up, I would order true to size as well as a pair half a size small to try as to ensure you wear the most lockdown and comfortable size available.
I did quite a bit of research before making this purchase. The negatives I was concerned with ended up being validated. Wearing these after wearing brooks was not a good idea. The shoe is very heavy.
With it being made of recycled plastic, the fabric does feel a little thick compared to the competition; this causes a lot of inner moisture. The midsole gets most of its height in the heel, the forefront is extremely lacking.
It feels like there’s no support. I feel like I can feel the floor beneath my toes and after a few hours, my feet are paying the price. I believe a good pair of insoles may supplement what’s lacking.

The bottom is wider for more stability on contact. The Nike React Miler 3 gives you a soft and smooth ride as your feet hit the pavement.
I waited over a month before formally reviewing my new pair of React Miler 2s. They fit well and were beautiful right out of the box, but I wanted to see how they fit and performed on the road and in walking around.
The React foam really fits around your foot and provides pillow like support. In my regular trail walking, the Miler 2 was stable and easy from foot to toe. As I increased to jogging and running, the shoes demonstrated their performance side, with a strong spring coming from every placement and push off, making these shoes fun to put on and spring out on to the road.
The shoe is well padded around your foot, at the heel and with the heel collar, and with its strengthened tongue. While not a competitive runner, I enjoy a comfortable walk or easy run daily in our forest roads here in central Virginia.
I recommend these Miler 2s, as they have made my runs or walks a sheer joy. Thanks for a well engineered, sharp looking and crafted shoe, Nike!.

There are a few key factors to consider when choosing the right shoes for marathon runners. First, consider the type of running surface you’ll be running on most often. If you’ll be running on pavement, look for shoes with good cushioning to protect your feet and joints from the impact.
If you’ll be running on trails, look for shoes with good traction to keep you from slipping. Second, consider your foot type. If you have high arches, you’ll need a shoe with good arch support. If you have flat feet, you’ll need a shoe with good cushioning.
Third, consider the weather conditions you’ll be running in. If you’ll be running in hot weather, look for shoes that are well-ventilated to keep your feet cool. If you’ll be running in cold weather, look for shoes that are water-resistant to keep your feet warm.
fourth, consider your budget. There are a wide range of prices for running shoes, so find a pair that fits your needs and budget.
