20 Best Shoes For Indoor Volleyball (2023 Updated)

My daughter has been looking for volleyball shoes for months. She’s had Mizunos and Nike. She couldn’t find one that was comfortable and not too stiff. These fit the bill and she’s very happy with them.

I also like the added ankle support without the high top feel.

These are some of the best volleyball shoes for my athlete. She has tried several brands and prefers these. She can wear them comfortably with her ankle braces. They are light but supportive.

My daughter loves these! These were meant for her to play basketball with. I was hoping for more ankle support so I’m not sore if we will keep them. They look good though.

Sports direct being awful with this order. Order an 8. 5 and despite the box saying 8. 5 the shoe inside was a 9. 5. their response: “We are a UK company and therefore we go by the UK sizing. As Asics not UK company, their size standard might be vary with UK.

As checked , I can confirm that the correct size has been sent”. So beware the size you order is apparently not the size you get! Never heard such nonsense We resize and relabel these items to meet the UK size standard for better reference.

These shoes are comfortable and have the special “circle” on the bottom of the shies. This is great for moving around the court. Holabird offered best price for this shoe and free shipping and no sales tax if you live outside of Maryland.

I recommend you buy at full size bigger than your regular shoe size.

Bought Gel-Rocket 9 as my official first pair of volleyball shoes, I should’ve done a little more research. I’m a high school varsity volleyball player. I’m a size 10 but this shoe makes me wish I got a 9.

5, my foot has actually slipped out of this shoe twice while playing and my foot went off the frame around three times when making extreme turns. One more negative, this shoe is not a spikers shoe, asics markets this shoe as all around but I feel it’s much more powerful and centered around defensive players and setters.

I feel my jumps are a lot more comfortable, springy, and supported in another brands basketball shoe. The positive with this shoe is mobility, I feel faster in this shoe than any other, and able to make quick turns when needed.

Overall, not the shoe I would lean too unless I was a defensive oriented volleyball. If you’re a spiker, I would much more recommend asics Sky Elite FF as it’s specifically marketed towards spikers and is (in my opinion) vastly superior to this shoe in every way especially jumping and landing.

They look really cool which is a plus, I’ve gotten people complementing the looks of it.

Use it for Racquetball. My previous shoes felt like I was on ice skates. These grip well and are very comfortable. I just wish they had more lateral ankle support. I have already twisted my ankle once and it’s been less than a week of use.

I confidently ordered UK 3.5 thinking that the sizing will be the same for all trainers. But this one was shorter. UK 3.5 for Adidas always fits me fine. This one did not.

I love these shoes. I searched for shoes like these for a long time. They are very comfortable and practical. These are my “go tos”. The colors are so clean cut. Great buy.

This is one of the most comfortable shoes I’ve purchased for work in quite a while. It’s like I was walking on air all day. The fit was perfect and they didn’t feel heavy. And I work in a factory.

These were an odd fit and felt clunky. They were narrow and wide in the wrong places and just not for me! Returning.

I am a volleyball player and I decided in 2020 to buy a new pair of shoes. The trade-off price/quality is very good. The only other ASICS shoes better than the NETBURNER BALLISTIC FF MT 2 are the new METARISE TOKYO (but the price is way higher).

I already wore ASICS shoes before and I just bought the same number as usual and they fit perfectly. They are not covering enough the ankle, in order to allow a better move and speed. However, since I have ankle problems, I must also wear ankle supports in order to avoid any sprain.

The grip is perfect (in order to maintain the best grip, please remember to clean the sole after every training session or match). The cushion on the heel is incredible and helps during all the phases of the jump.

The only issue that I found is because I have a high instep and for this reason, I cannot lace the shoes too tight.

Love these – true to the Asics brand, they comfortable and supportive. The Netburner has extra cushioning and side support, which provided extra “bounce” during my Jazzercise class! Highly recommend for anyone that does high impact aerobics – or sports that require a lot of side to side movement.

First time buying shoes online without trying. Ordered before cutoff time. Arrived the very next day. Extremely impressed. Very comfortable. Was concerned they would be too tight a fit but they are nice & snug so it doesn’t feel like I would roll my ankle.

They are ok. They fit well enough to go walking in and that is what I bought them for. If I was playing sport I’d want something that fit a little better. This is the first time I’ve bought shoes from ebay so I wasn’t sure what I’d get but they suit my purpose fine.

Good walking runners. A bit heavy and not very flexible for running.

Got this for my son to use for fencing. It has good traction, slightly curved at the heels and flat at the front (features of fencing shoes). He is very picky about his shoes as he doesn’t like his feet being smushed on the sides.

He likes this pair of shoes and didn’t complaint one bit.

These are great looking shoes and seem to be made well. My only complaint is that after my 10 year old practices lots of jumping and spiking she complains that her feet hurt. I think these need a little more cushion and arch support since they are made for this sport and it requires such activities.

I just got these to replace my last pair of Asics court shoes which I wore for handball for 4 years…the old ones are still supportive, comfortable, and the soles still grip well. They still look good too.

Since getting the Upcourt4 I’ve played handball 3 times in them and I am very pleased with their performance and, if you ask me, the price makes them a very good value.

I loved loved loved these shoes! They are great court shoes and they really improved my performance! They also fit great and were comfy as well. Sadly, my season came to an end for personal reasons, but the shoes were great and I was sad to return them :(.

These shoes were very comfortable straight out of the box. They appear to be very well made, as have been each of my Ascis shoes. The leather is plastic coated, as it the case with most shoes (and leather car seats), so they’re not going to breathe through the leather.

They do breathe well via the vent holes. On the happy side, coated leather is easier to clean when it’s white and doesn’t soak up water. (The suede isn’t coated. It’s nicely brushed. ) Stylish? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I like the looks. (Except for the boring top vent holes. It would be cooler with an Asics logo instead of the ubiquitous dots-in-lines that everyone uses. ) They aren’t all-day shoes, as they lack any arch support.

But, they’re fine for many hours and many miles at a time. Moisture is handled well. I wish the insole could come out for washing, but it’s glued in. Perhaps the glue will let go by the time they need washing.

For Fit- Most of my shoes and work boots are US size 12-D. These in Size 12 fit perfectly.

This is a very cute, well made, and comfortable shoe! I usually buy running shoes from Asics where I have to buy a half size up, but these I actually just needed in my normal size. I would have loved if there was arch support in this shoe, but it’s still very comfortable.

Also, I originally bought the half size up thinking it would be like the running shoe, and the return process to get the right size was very quick and easy! Thank you for being so accommodating!.

Great shoe, colors on site are accurate to the eye. Feels like good quality materials especially for the toebox where you want them. This is not positive or negative, but there is no arch support in the shoe and it runs totally flat.

Fits true to size. Very comfy and quality shoe. Details like the embroidered logo set this one apart!.

My daughter is a hitter, plays all around and has long, narrow feet. None of the other high end shoe brands fit like these do. Finally, no blisters. Mid top adds support, haven’t been using the ankle brace with these.

Would suggest you try these on if you have narrow feet.

I play competitive level volleyball in college and these are the most reliable and comfortable shoes I have ever had. I have worn Mizuno’s since HS and have always been happy with their comfort and durability.

This shoe promises to perform for the “fast and agile. ” And it keeps to its word in typical Mizuno fashion, form and function. Tennis Warehouse released a positive review for the Wave Impulse on YouTube with the only real criticism being a “lack of cushioning in the forefoot.

” That is true, but this isn’t a shoe to wear around at work or play all day. This is a shoe for people looking to step up their game. It is fast and supportive – “fits like a glove” you’ll hear people say and if you keep on your toes – you’ll forget about any lack of forefoot cushion the second you dig into the court to change direction.

It is a solid shoe; it won’t let you get complacent or compensate for a lack foot work. The shoe actually breathes very well, much better than you’d expect by looking at it. And after spending several hours in the shoe it is showing virtually no signs of wear.

These will work with your ankle socks and will get a lot of compliments to boot. Hopefully the bosses at Mizuno will bring more tennis goods to our shores as the stylish and well received “Wave Intense” would likely do well over here.

I’ve played volleyball in these about 10 times now since I’ve gotten them. I usually play 1-2x per week. Size is true to fit. Comfortable shoe. It feels good on side to side movements and front to back.

Spring feels good on the jump and cushion feels good on the landing. I’ve used the net burners and the sky elite so far. I like the sky elite a lot better and it’s my favorite volleyball shoe right now.

No complaints. I’d recommend these.

True Fit, although i would recommending trying your size before buying online. Definitely feels bouncier than my adidas crazyflight, i feel like i could jump higher with these shoes. The soles does a good job on gripping squeaky clean floors, while doing okay on slightly dustier floors, but not to the point that it would hinder too much movement.

I guess the major downside for me is they came in mostly white, making sure they stay white would be a tricky task.

When I first put my foot in I thought this shoe was made for me. Like a mold of my foot was measured just for this shoe. The fit was SO ACCURATE AND COMFORTABLE. The design and fit of these shoes is light years ahead of any Asics Men’s Volleyball shoes I’ve worn in the past (which all 21 pair have been great themselves). Someone founds that these run a bit larger, but for me the 42,5 are perfect and normally wear 42.

One major improvement is how the heel is better designed/angled to conform and support. They weigh the same as my previous Asics GEL-Netburner Ballistic MT shoes. Most importantly their are very well done and protect your feet and ankles.

Cushioning is amazing and it looks like you can actually jump higher!.
