20 Best Shoes For Hot Feet (2023 Updated)

The shoes are comfortable, however the foot support is terrible. The shoe lacks proper arch support. It feels like the hill and toes are making contact but the arch of the foot is floating in the air.

The only way to fix this issue is by buying proper shoe insoles with arch support. Once I did that this shoes became my new favorites. Everything else is top notch.

Got these for my husband who has “arch” issues and he loves them. VERY comfortable and these are now his favorite shoes. Great if you have wider feet.

Love my XC4 golf shoes but these I had to get a half size bigger and still really tight (requires shoe horn) to hey on and then a bit loose. Alway buy Johnson Murphy but rethinking my loyalty.

Pros: # Lightweight # Perfect heel lockdown # Feet feel stable/firmly planted # Grippy – like many brooks shoes, rubber is softer but with the trade off being less km Cons: # Super Thin Tongue – the biggest problem I had with these shoes.

The tongue is thinner than a piece of paper. The laces put a lot of pressure on the top of my feet, causing them to feel tingly or lose feeling no matter how loosely they are tied. The shorter the run the better as my feet hurt the longer they are in them.

# A bit too firm. I expected a bit more bounce (like a slightly firmer version of adidas boost soles). The Hyperion Tempo feel more harsh on landing than expected. I will try to avoid use on roads and paths and keep them for grass tracks or light trails.

#Expensive. I feel there are many shoes out there at a fraction of the cost with a similar fit, feel and level of performance. I was really excited to try the new ‘DNA Flash’ cushioning but feel like it doesn’t live up to its hype.

#Long laces. They flap around a lot which is a bit annoying.

Excellent! Bought after reading the Solereview’s review and they lived up to the praise. PB for 10K on firs run. Typically running 30-40 seconds a mile faster in these shoes than in Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21 and Adidas Solar Boost ST.

Hyperion Tempo are a neutral shoe, which feel great, despite being “diagnosed” as an over pronator and recommended stability shoes in the past. Fit is good, tongue stays put and laces give precise fit.

Good stability on the dodgy local pavements and soke grips well. About a third lighter than the Adrenaline GTS and Solar Boost too. Great service from Start Fitness as usual – ordered Friday night and had them by Sunday afternoon.

I bought these shoes based on two things 1/ The almost uniform praise for the shoe across many reviewers and 2/ I wanted a shoe that ran fast but was still comfortable. I’ve clocked over 50km in them with mainly recovery runs and walks as I’ve “broken” them in but included in that was a half marathon in a PB so I’m a fan and they now embedded in my rotation.

They are super light, snug, yet don’t compress my foot and the impact when in contact with the road surprisingly shock absorbing considering it feels like my feet are naked these shoes are so light. The shoe is everything Brooks and its supporters claims so to say I’ve got bang for buck is an understatement.

Plan is to run the Melbourne Marathon in them and I’ve no doubt they’ll perform as tasked. The guy wearing them just has to do same!! Awesome.

These are a pretty colour and size was true to the normal 5 fitting. But they have a hard plastic trim which makes them rigid around the ankles and on the tongue of the shoe. The ankle fit seems to be different and cut much higher so with no flexibility from the plastic they will rub.

The plastic trim on the tongue of the shoe means that every time you step forward it hits your lower leg/ankle and is so irritating. Never had a problem with sketchers before but this time these are all wrong.

Loved the style of these trainers and the colour but that’s where it ends. The manmade fabric is hard and very inflexible. The back of the trainer seems to be wrong because it is very high and hard and has rubbed my heels quite badly.

Really not up to the usual design standard of Sketchers so these are being returned and I will certainly stick to leather trainers in future. No more manmade for me.

I needed a pair of black sneakers for 1st semester nursing and these fit all the specifications and didn’t break the bank. The cute silver accent on the back was perfect for a little character but not causing issues with the requirements of uniform.

They are very sturdy and comfortable when worn all day. I could see me being another pair to hold me through during my nursing school path.

The first thing my husband said is, “Wow, these are so light weight”. He likes the style and comfort too. I bought him the brown version – love it with business casual or jeans.

Love these shoes. Very comfortable, wear them to work, walking all day my feet and legs feel great after a long day of standing or walking.

I bought these for my son who usually wears a 10 occasional 9.5 they were 2/2 inch too big but he opted to keep them . He liked them . They are not a bright white but a nice color

I am a woman who normally wears a women’s size 11 and need arch support which is hard to find. I normally have to go to a cobbler and have it put in and you can only do that on a very well structured shoe.

Since I am a big size, over the years I have occasionally dipped into men’s shoes. I did so this time after measuring my foot and using the size guide because I bought them a little before Christmas and they were a little picked over in women’s ArchFit.

I liked the color combination on these. These also have their side support feature which I think was going to be important to me because in the distant past I had bought Skechers and found them not at all supportive enough for my particular foot.

These were the first ArchFit I had tried, and they are very comfortable. I can feel the arch and it is in the right place for my foot and I suspect that it might be flexible enough to fit most people’s arch.

I can’t even really see the side support in them but I can feel it. One thing I really like about them is that even though they are fairly deep shoes, I have no problem whatsoever slipping my foot into them easily.

That means I can use them for everyday casual. I like them so well that I took advantage of the current sale and my points and ordered another pair of ArchFit but this time in women’s fur-lined booties.

I hope they fit as well.

I bought a few arch fit shoes/sneakers and I have others but these by far are the most comfortable. I have feet problems and can’t find good shoes to fit a skinny ankle with wide toes and low arch from pronation.

The tops of my feet are also high. not sure what that is called. My feet hurt very bad in anything but good sneakers or arch fits. These are good b/c they are fully breathable stretch material on top.

This allows alot of form fitting around my weird-shaped feet. I have weak ankles but do not find these feeling unsupportive which was a concern prior to buying. These have the most supportive arch of all the sketchers I have, some of them also being arch fits.

The foam in these just feels better and more arched. Also very lightweight! Of course I wish I could wear nice stylish heels but that’s not reality if I don’t want to be in pain all day. These are the most stylish, comfortable sneaker-feeling type shoe I could find.

Love them!.

The GoWalk Joy slip on are really good for back problems. They are shock absorbing, and very lightweight, so that is a tremendous help for your back. Everyone is different. I have a medium size foot and these fit the way that I want them to.

I have several pair of these and they all seem to run about a half size big in length and that’s how I want them to fit. My feet over pronate (turn to the inside with every step) so the inside of the wall of the shoe rubs a hole in the material making the shoes unwearable after about 6 months.

It causes pain where it wears the material away. Other than the material could be a little stronger, these are great shoes. They wash well in the washing machine, hang by the tab on the heel to dry with clothes pins, and look new.

The GoWalk 5’s with the pillows in the sole were terrrible for my back. The GoWalk Joy is a solid sole and that’s perfect for shock absorption.

These runners are very comfortable, and I was able to put my orthotics in them. The only ‘downside’ is their unique fastening feature. They have a slide closure that works ok, but there seems to be less maneuverability in loosening up the top of the shoe to insert your foot.

It’s not regular lacing, but fine elastic ‘cord’. With thinner socks it’s not too bad – I’m adjusting to the technique required — sliding the foot in while trying to hold up the top of the shoe, then finding & gripping the loop on the heel side to pull it up.

Once on they are snug & comfortable. Then you can tighten the ‘slide closure’ (which doesn’t seem to really need to be done, since they fit quite snugly). All in all, my 4 out of 5.

So I thought I would be like other reviewers and take a chance on these – even though reviews were mixed. There were especially multiple reviews that noted a heal rubbing issue. Unfortunately I was not immune to the poor fit of these shoes with regard to the heel rubbing issue.

It is really too bad too, because they are nice looking and otherwise very comfy (accept for the heel thing). The heel rubbing issue brought me a boo-boo on the back of my heel (only one for some reason) after one day of wearing them shopping and going about.

I bought them because I was looking for a light slip on sneaker that could take a lot of walking. I hope Columbia fixes this engineering snafu.

This shoe is a beautiful blue color, very well constructed and made with soft breathable mesh and insole with air circulation via vent holes molded in the sole. It fits true to size and generous in the width.

Feels like a comfortable slipper with a flexible yet thick sole offering a nice cushion feel without noticing small stones or pebbles stepped on whenever you are walking on flat surfaces. Shoe fits and feels great either barefooted or with socks.

They have a pull string lacing with a little clip to keep the laces neatly on top. They really look well designed and sharp enough to be in your shoe line up!.

Just bought my 3rd pair! I’m 67 years old with a few recent foot issues; however, I feel like I’m back in my 30s when I wear my Sohos all day; no foot pain at all ! After my 2nd vaccine shot very soon, I’ll be good for traveling again with all my Skuze Soho shoes, including my one pair of the Miami style, which I love very much as well !! P.

S. a shoe horn does help with getting the shoes on, but once they are on, you won’t want to take them off!.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I purchased the Skuze Sohos. I just knew I really liked the way they look. When I received them I realized the material and design is even nicer in person. Then I put them on and realized they checked all the boxes for me, extremely supportive, good bounce, fitted, very light weight and are now the most comfortable shoes I own.

I’ll be purchasing another color and look forward to future pairs. Thank you.

I really do LOVE the look & feel of these shoes, but they are quite a trick to get on! (And, YES, I do use the pull tab at the back!! A little afraid I might pull it off!) Hopefully, with repeated wearing, this process will get easier and these will earn a full 5-star rating!.

Unfortunately, Brooks got this wrong again. What Brooks need to understand is that when someone has terribly flat feet, has heel spurs/Plantar Fasciitis, is overweight, and has very little flexibility in their arches and Achilles tendons, any type of arch support that is added to the shoe is going to lift up the arch and then force the foot to slide outwards.

You can’t give great support around the arches and heels and then expect the shoe to last when there is no support around the pinkie toe area and the outside of the foot. A taller and more solid platform must be built which can counterbalance the naturally occurring slide that occurs after the arches have been lifted.

Even wearing an 11 women’s wide, I was still sliding off the platforms around the pinkie toe area because the arch of my foot was being lifted up and then shifted outwards. My naturally occurring gait is not normal.

When I have a heel strike, my ankles break inward, but when I push off, the outside of my foot slides off the platform. It’s the most frustrating thing in the world to not be able to find a shoe that can be supportive for someone with flat feet, at a level 5 cushion, and be able to correct the problem of being both an over and under-pronator.

Why can’t a shoe company beef up the pinkie toe area to help offset the natural slide that happens after the arch has been lifted? Although comfortable, within 45 minutes of wearing this shoe today, I was sliding off the outside of the platform near the pinkie toe area and that area of the shoe was already breaking down.

So disappointed as the level 5 cushion/heels and arches felt great. Will be sending these shoes back tomorrow requesting an exchange for perhaps a beefier stability shoe. Back to the drawing board, Brooks.

The best combination I ever found was the Brooks Addiction 6 with the addition of Blue Superfeet. Brooks Addiction 6 was a sturdier and more counterbalanced shoe than this version of the 14.

Very impressed. Sizing was consistent with the last Brooks I bought and the ordering system was easy. To start with I thought they made my ankle feel funny but then I did the lock laces trick and they’re great.

Removable insole means I can wear my own orthotics. Heel is high enough that my foot doesn’t slip out the back even with my orthotics. This is the main reason I buy Brooks rather than another brand.

I have been buying 2 pair of these runner for over 20 years every year. They have have my knees and back from damage. If i don’t wear them, i can be sure my back and knees play up. I always use to twist my ankles before coming across these, they were recommended to me by my orthodontist.

i can not speak more highly of the knowledge and expertise put into these shoes. I cannot live without them. I have recently purchased. Brook walking shoes and two addition runners, i interchange to keep them firm and fresh.

I cannot express myself more to one considering these. I was blessed being put onto them. Avoided medical intervention for the time been. !.

I am slightly mobility challenged from a knee that only bends 60 degrees. So the shoes I wear need to provide the best base that I can get. The Pursuit shoes provide that. They are very comfortable and allow me to walk as well as possible.

The heal is a bit lower than most shoes which for me works well. There is a minimal amount of padding which allows me to feel the surface I am walking on better. I have a wide foot and the double wide size fits perfectly.

I have always worn size 13 because there are very few 12 1/2 sized shoes on the market. SAS does provide a 12 1/2 size which fits again perfectly. Great shoes!.

Have owned pair of these for 9 months. Liked the styling. For running they are inferior to other common brands. Quality issues. The rubber part of the toe has stitches that unravel causing a frayed appearance and peeling back of the rubber.

Would expect that with the price you pay this would not have happened so soon. Quality should match pricing.

I own several pairs of Journeys both leather uppers and mesh uppers and I thought these would be similar. They really are not. The Pursuit is a lightweight shoe that I find to be great in the gym but not really suitable for a lot of walking because of the lack of cushioning in the sole.

I took out the SAS inserts and put more padded inserts into these shoes which helped give my feet a bit more cushioning on the treadmill. I love the lightweight feel for use in the gym and the wide toe box is very comfortable.

I am a 70 year old female who prefers the wider fit of SAS men’s shoes (71/2 wide) as I have wide feet and make no attempt to hide that fact. Comfort is everything to me when it comes to shoes.

I purchased this shoe in the black patent with the “coffee” print. It is comfortable, stylish, and goes with so many things in my wardrobe! Order true to size, unless you plan to wear with socks – then definitely order up a half-size.

The (strong) velcro strap makes adjusting the width a breeze. I have never seen such a cute print on shoes – various coffee cups/mugs and coffee words. The reds and oranges really pop against the black patent.

I am in my mid-60s and these are a welcome addition to my wardrobe. Very, very happy with my purchase!.

This show is very comfortable! I don’t know about the person that left the first review because there are NO laces to this shoe. It is a Velcro strap and it stays. The Velcro is very strong. When you walk in these shoes you feel a bounce so it absorbs the shock.

I own 2 pair of these and they are great!.

I am glad I took a chance on this shoe. The extra wide is, yeah, and it is comfortable in all ways. The photos make it look more fantastic plastic than real life. It’s not leather or pleather, sure, but the shoe is more composed than the pictures.
