20 Best Shoes For Flare Jeans (2023 Updated)

Runs true to size. I ordered a wide and it was wide enough for my feet. I ended up returning them because they are lined in a synthetic fabric that made my feet sweat just from trying them on. They have a nice strip of brown leather-like fabric going down the back of the heel which should help keep the heel looking clean.

It is also a nice design feature. They are fairly light weight so you will definitely still feel the ground if walking in these. I would not recommend them for a lot of walking but for normal, casual wear, they are nice.

I absolutely love the cushioning that these shoes provide. This is actually my second pair in a different color. However, this pair does rub wrong on my left foot and now starts to create a blister. Maybe I can find a product to cover that rough part.

Otherwise, I do love them.

Saw these in the store a few weeks ago and they were on sale for a fantastic price. Got the grey ones, color is really nice and they are extremely comfortable. Wore without socks and no rubbing on my heel.

I love Clarks shoes. I have worn the brand for many years. I have a slip on Clarks shoe that I wear religiously all the time in the winter months. When I saw the Ashland Joy presented it looked like a shoe I would appreciate.

I ordered it on clearance and when it arrived I immediately put them on. They feel wonderful. They are soft, supportive, they don’t pinch or bind anywhere on my feet. I am retired so I no longer have to be on my feet all day, but these shoes are perfect for everywhere my husband and I go.

I ordered these adorable shoes. I have purchased Clark’s in the past and the sizing just did not work for me. When I saw these really cute shoes I thought I would give this brand one more chance. Well.

The sizing is terribly wrong. I tried on the right shoe and the comfort was delightful. I tried on the left shoe and it cut through my upper foot like crazy pain. So, I packed them up and sent them back.

I gave them two stars: one for the design, and one for the comfort for my right foot.

I am so so sorry I bought these shoes. Got them in size 7 wide, my usual size for Clarks. I’ve had for a while, so too late to return. Wore them for the first time yesterday. They slipped up and down on my heels the whole time.

I’ve even put in heel anti-slip pads, but no difference. Orthotics, no difference. My feet seemed to go to the front of the shoe where my toes touched the end. Have no idea why these were so bad, other than too big?? Don’t know if presentation mentioned to size down.

Anyway, I think the next stop is Goodwill!!!! Will be a long time before I purchase Clarks again.

I was thinking about buying this shoe online but something told me it would run funny. I found the same show, same color (gray) at Ross and tried on an ladies size 6. It was waaaay too big. Ran next door to DSW and found the same shoe but of course, their was no size 5.

In a rush and disappointed because I really wanted to wear that exact shoe for an outdoor gathering with the perfect hooded sweater dress, I gave it one last try and hit the kids aisle. SAME SHOE! I tried on a youth 5-too big.

Youth 4 still had too much room and there was one last size 3 and it fit perfectly. For reference, I’m a ladies size 6, a kids gym shoe size 4-4. 5 but in this shoe I’m a size 3 youth if that helps. Very comfortable and goes with everything gray.

Cheaper in the kids section too.

It was love at first sight. They fit well and are fun and youthful looking but age appropriate. I only give them four stars because they rub on the heel just a bit and the inner liner isn’t glued down so it moves around every time I take them off.

Will probably add some inserts. But otherwise great shoes. Would buy again.

These are the 2nd pair of this style that I have purchased from Masseys. They are very comfortable. They do run a bit narrow, so probably not great for someone with wide feet. I wear a B width, and don’t have much of an arch.

If you are looking for comfy shoes without a high arch, these are the shoes for you!! Highly recommend. VERY COMFY!!.

Clarks’ shoes have always been reliable footwear. This is my second pair of Clarks’ loafers. I was hesitant to order the second pr bc the 1st pair was a wedge-type heeled shoe & my feet would slide forward.

These are not wedges so i ordered the Navy loafer & I love the width, color, style, but the fit is unusual for the back part of my feet. The back keeps slipping off as I take each step, like if I’m wearing a flip flop.

I have to wear thick socks to avoid the slippage. Otherwise, comfy shoe if you don’t mind the flip flops.

I received the Leopard print shoe today. I was so excited to try it on. The look is stylish and feminine. They truly are comfortable straight out of the box. Unfortunately to my disappointment the length is too short in the toe box, too roomy in the heel and buckles on the sides of the shoe.

(others mentioned same in their reviews) my big toe touches the tip of the shoe which is uncomfortable. This SHOULDN’T happen period! Someone definitely screwed up in sizing department. My normal shoe size is 8 wide, never have I experienced this problem from any department store.

Thinking I would need to exchange these for an 8. 5 wide and see if that would be a better fit in the toe area. I would NOT recommend this shoe to anyone until they fix the sizing and buckling issues.

I bought these to replace a scuffed taupe pair of booties and decided to spend more on these, since I wore my last neutral shade so often. These boots ran true to size and the colors were as pictured; both zippers need to be unzippped to put them on or off.

The heel height is low to make it a comfortable bootie and perfect height for my boot leg jeans. The leopard print is stylish and I receive many compliments when I wear them. I think they’ll look great with black tights and a sweater dress, too.

I had looked at these shoes literally every time I walked past Dillard’s shoe department for the last 4 months and was obsessed! I kept putting off the purchase because the only colors in my store were gold and black.

The gold was nice, but not quite versatile enough and the last thing I need is another pair of black loafer type shoes. I saw this color online and knew I had to make the purchase! When they first arrived they felt a bit tight, but after one wear, they felt perfect.

The only negative is that I would like a bit more padding under the ball of my foot because. well. I’m getting older. LOL! I may actually buy the gold pair now!.

These shoes are absolutely amazing. The leather is incredibly soft, all the way to the edges. When I say you don’t have to break them in, believe me! The leather is so soft that it could look slouchy (like how uggs get), but the fit is tight enough so that they don’t crumple where folds are created.

The black shoes are jet black. So beautiful. They are soft like suede. I bought them in 2 colors and on sale. What a steal! I’m definitely buying more as they release more colors.

I have 3 pairs of this style shoe–one in black, tan, and hazel–and I had to order this color and natural leopard to make my collection complete. I have big feet (9. 5) and have some arthritis in my big toes.

These shoes fit very comfortably, are stylish, and make my feet look smaller! I can wear them with slim-cut jeans, boot cut jeans, flaired jeans, or slacks and they look great!.

My daughter really wanted a pair of these, but I was a little apprehensive because she is really picky about fit. I was worried that they would be stiffly uncomfortable or chafe the back of her heel, and also that the foot opening would be too small to easily slide her foot in and out, as we have had that problem with other slip-on shoes before.

There seems to be almost a super thin papery layer over the bottom. However, after even minimal playing or walking on concrete or asphalt, it quickly disappears and the grip becomes much more tacky and normal.

Love the multi color floral ones. They are super comfortable. They look great with jeans. Can’t wait for warner weather because these will also look great with a ton of summer Swing dresses I have. These Sneakers will literally match almost any solid color! Super easy to slide on and they stretch on the sides.

I minused 1 star because whatever they use for the bottom of the sole is super slippery on my hardwood floor. I have to scuff them up a but before walking on anything besides carpet. FYI. I normally wear a 7.

I love this brand! The fit is great! I have 16 pairs of these shoes. I would of given a 5 star but I bought two pairs online and I didn’t get a box with neither pair. I have ordered from the store before and I have always received the box.

Even if I had them delivered to the store or to my home. This is the first time this has happened. I called customer service and they told me they don’t come with boxes. They are hung up on a shoe hook.

I told her this has never happened before and why would someone buy shoes without the box. She said this is how they ship the shoes. After I told her that is not true because I worked at the Buckle before as a freight coordinator.

And we never sent out shoes without a box and if they didn’t have a box or the box was damaged or loss we made one to put them in. Unless it was a vip shoe or sandal which is hung on the shoe hook. I also stated Blowfish shoes came with a box and they were never hung up on a shoe hook.

She told me the best she could do is have me return the shoes or she could try to locate where the shoes came from and see if they still have the boxes.

The LifeStride brand always seems to run narrow at the ball of foot and the toes, and run small for my feet ( my own experience). I ordered 1/2 size up and in a wide. Normally am a 8. 5 medium, but got the 9W.

They are PERFECT! The fit will allow me to actually keep these on my feet all day, and not squeeze my toes. The wedge heel is also easier, I find, to give that elevated heel look, but they are comfortable to walk in.

But there is a bit of a dressier “high-heel” look with an easier closed-toe shape to this shoe. They have a stiff structure. That style, which is going to put my foot on an incline with closed-toe, is always an indication to me to go wide or 1/2 size up.

I ordered the Taupe, which I find to be a great neutral. I’ll wear these all throughout the spring and summer with slacks, skirts, office attire, and dresses. They have a little bit more sophisticated look to them.

Four stars only because I find the size is often smaller than expected with this brand, and once again I was right in sizing up for myself on a StrideRight shoe. I don’t understand why they do that on their brand’s sizing.

I’ve never found LifeStride true to size. Order accordingly.

Really comfortable about 1 inch heel summer espadrille! I actually needed this shoe for leveling up my hips while in a walking boot. So I needed ANY shoe this height. I might not have even looked at this shoe were it not for needing this height as I like open toe shoes.

Turns out this is super comfy and adorable. Easy to put on and I love the way it looks. Now I want it in a neutral color but it is sold out. I will keep watching and hoping I can get it. I wear a 7 1/2 in sandals normally with a normal size foot, not narrow not wide, but I got this in an 8M.

I don’t like sandals so I got these to wear with some of my summery dresses. I have a very high instep so was not sure if the elastic on the top would dig in too much on the top of my foot. They fit perfectly, the elastic is not too tight and they are very comfortable plus they look great.

Based on other reviews I ordered a 9. 5 instead of my usual 10 and they are definitely at least a half size if not a full size too small for me. I’m waiting for the 10 to arrive and will update on that size once they do, Otherwise, a very pretty shoe- classic lines but with a sexier edge at a good price point.

A beautiful shoe that fits perfect! I took a chance and purchased these beauties. They feel and fit well much to my surprise. This is my first time buying this brand of shoes and hopefully won’t be be my last.

Do go up a 1/2 size larger is my recommendation.

I could not tell from the picture or description that this was a black suede. Very comfortable height to walk in. Yet still a sexy shoe and a conservative shoe if you dress them down. For the multipurpose function of the shoe, I kept these over a 4” black leather stiletto.

Vince Camito is my go to and never disappoints! This neutral sandal is the perfect sandal for summer and can easily be worn with shorts to dress them up, which is what I do! I also like that they are a great alternative to the trendy chunky braided mule/heel that you see every where! I love them and wished I had bought them in black when they still had my size.

FYI-the shoe fits exact meaning my heel is right at the edge but still looks and feels great. I bought my usual size!.

Was looking for an orange sandal to add a little spice to my shoe life and this little number was just what the doctor ordered, cute with a little spicy on the side. The heel height is nice, perfectly sturdy with a sexy little shape.

Beautiful shoes. The mustard color is deeply rich…more of a tan, but absolutely gorgeous. They just didn’t quite work for me. I need more of a heel, and these are REALLY flat. They also “gap open” on the sides, but that’s a common problem for me.

I’d still recommend.

I have trouble finding the right fit. The strap around the ankle is just what I needed. One foot is smaller than the other. This shoe allows me to step with confidence. I can make smooth moves now. Thanks Journee.

The boots are sturdy and comfortable but they definitely had more that small imperfections. The tip of the right boot had a spot missing dye about the size of a dime. The first picture is the one that came worn looking.

It was about 10% smaller. The second is the left boot that did not look worn, but after one day of wear looked like this. The third photo is what I expected with minor imperfections. But for the cost, I’m keeping them.

The dye has continued to rub off the tips of both boots making them look worn. I live in the West, so I like this look, but if you’re looking for polished boots, these are not them. The Born Kerri boot is easily the most comfortable western style boot I’ve worn.

I purchased these Born Kerri booties to keep my feet warm & comfortable while traveling. I only had one day to wear/try them out before I was leaving. I was not disappointed, I’m a 60 something lady & was able to comfortably & quickly maneuver thru the airport without arch pain.

I usually wear a 6 – 6. 5, I purchased the 6. 5 knowing that I was planning to wear a little thicker sock & they fit perfectly with plenty of room in the toe area. Very cute and comfortable #sweepstakes !.

I just got them today and although I wanted to get a Size 6M, all but the cranberry color in Size 6M were gone. I’m a size 5-1/2M to a 6M, so I took a chance and ordered the 5-1/2M in blue (the color I wanted) and they fit just fine.

They aren’t too tight or small as I feared they might be, and like everybody has said, they are super-comfortable and cute as can be. No regrets! I look forward to getting a lot of wear out of them. Luckily, I got them on clearance.

If you’re skeptical, give them a try. I usually love all the Sketcher shoes I get, so as a Sketcher’s Super Fan, I’m Very Happy!!!.

I absolutely love these shoes!! They are like the “other” brand name shoes. I bought the Skippy shoes in 7 and the fit well, but in these I bought in 7. 5 and feels better. I love that they are also washable!! I went back and bought the navy in the Skippy in size 8, because I’ll wear these the most and winter with socks.

I love how soft this shoe is! I purchased these in black. The soles are soft and hardly make any noise when I walk on hard floors or pavement. I have “skinny heels”, but these shoes do not gape in the back– major plus! My only complaint is that the shoe rubs against my heel a bit, but that could just be because they are new; time will tell.

Putting a little bit of cushion back there (i. e. , heel grip or Band-Aid) remedies the problem. My only recommendation for improvement would be to add memory foam insoles– that would earn this shoe 5 stars.

I definitely recommend purchasing these if you are looking for a simple, versatile ballet flat.

I was hesitant to buy these flats. I was not convinced the shoe was made well and that I was just “buying the brand name” BUT, the shoe is actually very well made and super comfy. And these flats are leather.

I’m finding it harder and harder to buy leather shoes. So I was stoked / relieved to find some leather, white FLATS. I can’t wear heels, so finding a good quality, leather shoe is difficult. But I’m glad I bought these.

I’ve bought these now I’m two colors— they are the most comfortable flats I’ve ever owned. They don’t fall off your feet. I used to dance, and they feel a little like practice slippers in that they hug my arches and I can twirl in them.

I am now a teacher and I wear them all day. If you are between sizes, def go the half size up, as they are pretty snug. Also not for people who need a lot of cushion, as there isn’t any. Oh and they are super cute too!.

While waiting for the Drew style I prefer, I grabbed these since they were available in my size. Without them I had nothing to wear with the necessary Drew support. They are heavy and I hate the laces but at least I can safely walk for now.

Wish I could get Drew boots. Foot surgery left me with one longer wider foot and was causing a balance problem as well as injury to the other foot. Custom orthotics help but I can’t wait for my regular Drew shoes to come back in stock.

The foot bed was the best. Great padding, and the rocker bottom took the pressure off my painful neuroma. But unfortunately the upper part of the shoe was a poor fit for me. The tongue and laced upper is very high.

I wanted it to work so badly, but I had to return them.

First time wearing these boots and I really like them already! I went to a different city for work and forgot my booties that I usually wear for work at home. Stopped by the target near where I was staying and I found these to be the most comfortable compared to all the other shoes I tried on.

I appreciate the memory foam a lot a lot. The heels are j e and steady and it helps that there’s a tiny platform on the rest of your foot so it’s a better arch than usual. I got the 8. 5 and I’m going to say runs pretty true to size for me, just the right amount of toe room.

The cognac is a pretty color! And the zipper runs easily. I have high ankle socks on and no issue with the sock rubbing weird on the heel or anything so far. Think I’ll be keep these and wearing them quite alot!.

I adore these and love target’s shoes in general, but I had to order these boots 3 separate times to get a pair that wasn’t defective. Even then, the ones I’m keeping have minor flaws, but they’re tolerable and not worth having to deal with the hassle of continuing to order them.

All 3 pairs had at least one boot with wobbly heels that wouldn’t lay flat when walking on a hard surface. I doubt this was bad luck on my part, so I imagine it’s a common problem with this style. If you’re able to snatch a pair that’s not defective, they’re adorable and comfortable.

I’d suggest trying to find them in store before ordering online.
