I absolutely can’t say enough positive things about Sherry’s boots. I have 6 pairs all different, but the salt water ducks are hard to find even in Texas. I grew up wearing LL B boots between the rain, snow and freezing temps in Ma where I grew up nothing beats a good pair of Ducks but LL B just look off on my feet they look like clown shoes.

So I had been eying Sperrys for a while but even at there fairly affordable price it’s still Texas thinking I might use them a week out of the year I kept passing. Then one day I saw them on sale $80 took them home the rest is history.

I wear them everywhere with anything and everything. 100 degrees outside I’m still out in shorts tank top and my duck boots. Very few weird looks but tons of compliments. Out of all 6 pairs and almost Daily use some are a tad ratty looking but still good to go.

My latest was the leather salt water duck. Super happy with my purchase and even order 3 kid pairs for my nieces and nephews since they like mine so much. Guess all that’s let is wait for it to rain sooner or later.

As an avid Sperry customer, I am always excited about their new introductions and this jewel was a perfect choice for my 31-year-old daughter’s Santa stash. When I received them from online order ( in 6 business days-during the pandemic shipping craze, along with 4 other Sperry products) I was beyond pleased with the purchase.

The Duck Boot is the exceptional, dependable Sperry design & quality. The beautiful ivory, cream color is a rich color without being glaring or “plastic” looking as some other companies fail on that cream or white appearance standard.

The sole color matching the shoe area is a very attractive difference and takes the boot to an upscale look that can add a fun detail for a dressy look. The gold color on the boot upper section is not extremely glittery or sparkly, it is more of a distressed appearance, subtle and blended into the material which is very attractive and pleasing.

Also, the gold does not rub off as is the case I have experienced by other companies in applying a metallic on a leather fabric. The metallic is whispered across the material and marries the design seamlessly.

Adding the gold metallic laces (again not sparkly but attractively subtle) completes an overall very stylish design. My daughter slipped these on at the beginning of our “gift opening” Christmas morning and has worn them every day with a variety of outfits including leggings, jeans, velvet straight leg trousers, wool skirt and an elegant outfit with a black satin muddy shirt, cream cashmere sweater w/ small pearls embellishment when we walked through falling snow in our small town’s beautifully holiday dressed Main Street.

She packed them to take along to a New Year celebration at a nearby Asheville Vineyard in their outdoor igloos (COVID cubbies) and I know she will continue to receive compliments and inquiries about them as we did on our Main Street stroll.

When I received the package from our mail carrier, I thought there is no way that the box in my hands was the set of duck boots i ordered; the package was WAY TOO LIGHT! But indeed these were the Sperry Top-Siders and my first impression was a very positive one.

I quickly put on a pair of lightweight cotton hiking socks and had no problem in placing my feet inside these boots. Even as a new boot the soft leather upper combined with the fleece like cold protective inner seal made for a quick and comfortable fit.

The laces are cotton rather than nylon, a good thing for a tight knot. once i tightened the boots and took them out to my yard for a test walk, I was amazed how comfortable they felt. I felt a slight burn on top of my right foot where my small toe was located, but after a short bit of walking, I worked through this stiff area.

The boots are very well sealed, so much so that wearing a heavy sock may feel uncomfortable and produce unnecessary sweating. I personally think that a nylon/silk liner sock in combination with a lightweight hiking sock will be the right combination for my needs.

Very well pleased with the purchase and highly recommend these boots.

I like them so far. At little stiff but I expect they’ll break in after a while. Otherwise they’re comfortable and water tight. I gave them a rating of four only because the product description implies they are winter boots by saying they are fleece lined and they keep your feet warm.

These are not warm and I would not wear them on a cold winter day. However, that’s why I got them. I wanted boots for the spring and summer that will keep my feet dry in the wet grass but not full size rain boots that go past the calf.

So far these are doing the job well.

These are some pretty cool boot. I’ve never seen these types of duck boots. And the fact that they were my first kind of purchase I was on the 50/50 when I was waiting for them. And when I got them and tried them on they’re pretty cool.

For that price too $40 ain’t bad. These don’t cost that cheap on the regular. They do have some extra space inside the boots but it would make sense to wear socks that are a little thick to close up those spaces.

I’m assuming you’d wear these on a cold day. That being said they should be snug with some winter socks.

These are well designed boots that are waterproof and warm enough for winter hiking adventures, but not so oversized and cumbersome that you’d feel uncomfortable wearing them in a mall. While they are Uggs, let’s be clear about one thing: there is no fuzzy wool in these things at all.

They are warm, but do it without wool. I would say that they fit slightly large. I put a set of sport insoles in my boots and they are snug, but still comfortable. That said, they appear small when you take them out of the box.

I can’t tell why they have this optical illusion.

You now have a fan for life. My search for proper winter boots is over. These boots keep me feet warm, are VERY, VERY comfortable (to me at least, better than all others). They’re relatively stylish I guess, not really my style per say, but in terms of warmth and comfortability, 10/10.

UGG will be my go to for all future winter boots.

Duckfeet’s EU to USA size is off by one size. I wear a 9. 5 women’s and a size 41 EU consistently in all other brands that I buy. But Duckfeet suggests I wear a EU size 40 which is too short but the width is fine.

The Blavand slip on is an ADORABLE shoe. Just know that Duckfeet shoes are heavy and a bit clunky meaning the wide toe box and gun sole feel heavy-ish. I think everyone should try for themselves. The two pair (ankle boots) and the Blavand slip ons that I bought, I love and the quality of materials is phenomenal.

The return policy is phenomenal and the customer service reps (both of them) are absolutely awesome. The reason I rated this 2 stars is because the EU to USA sizing is off by one size and isn’t consistent with other manufacturers.

The other reason is that my slip on‘s that I received show holes in the soul and they said that this is normal and I think it’s poor quality workmanship that they allow the punched holes to show (photo attached).

What customer service asked me if I wanted to return them she double checked on it with the factory and they said that’s how they they turn out that way on the slides but I think that’s poor workmanship.

This is my first pair of Duckfeet shoes, and so far, I’m really loving them. They were incredibly comfortable from the moment I put them on: wide, thick sole with springy material that felt great on my joints.

I’m still breaking in the top leather, which is a bit uncomfortable, but it’s not worse than any other shoe I’ve ever broken in. The look is great too: I often feel like you have to sacrifice appearance for comfort.

These still manage to look very sleek. I purchased the black. The lines are smooth, there’s a curve to the shape of the shoe that prevents it from looking boxy or oversized, meaning to me that these shoes will outlast the current footwear trends.

I’m so glad I made this purchase. I’ve been looking at these shoes for over a year with the hope of being able to wear them to work with slacks and casually with jeans, and they are so worth the investment.

This will be but the first of many future Duckfeet purchases!.

These boots are very comfortable. They do keep your feet dry. The thing that I don’t like about them is that if you go from wet ground onto a floor, you can expect to slip. Honestly, if I hadn’t worn them, I would definitely return them.

Just my opinion, ALL rainboots should be slip resistant. I do not recommend these boot due to the fact that I have almost fallen many times. These will be going in the trash!.

I was looking for this style and shoe type particularly for days when I walk my dogs onto the wet grass and muck. I wanted shoes that are easy-on, easy-off, stylish, and that keep my feet DRY! These shoes are the winner in all categories for me.

They look cute and I find myself wearing them even when the weather is dry. They seem very durable so far and I just love them and would love to go get more of them and in other colors as well. The price is wonderful as well.

I do like these duck shoes. I have always purchased my duck style shoes and boots from a well known manufacturer of these style shoes and boots going way back. It was time to replace my duck shoes once again and after reviewing them online, I decided not to purchase them from my usual supplier.

Wonderful product but expensive. I figured I would go without because most other duck shoes I have seen out there are either very expensive or very cheap in appearance. I just happened to come across these by JBU and I got 2 pairs one in the brown and one in the black, size 8, reg W.

I usually purchase size 8, regular width, in most shoes and boots and these were just right. They are comfortable, dry and quite nice looking. I would have given 4. 5 stars if the choice was available.

The half star deduction would be for the man made material that mimics leather is not the greatest but certainly not a deal breaker.

I was a little concerned that these would be too small after I read the reviews. Unfortunately I read the reviews AFTER I placed the order, but I’m so glad I did! These boots are perfect in every way and everything I wanted.

The sizing is fine. They are maybe a tiny bit narrow but I have wide feet. I hate wearing socks anyway so I’m bare feet they are amazingly comfortable and warm. And they’re so cute!! The colors go perfect with all my new ivory and blush pink “athliesure wear” that I bought for this season.

They feel and look high quality and I get compliments every time I wear them.

These are so cute! I was so excited to find a pair of boots in neutral and blush! They are soo warm and comfortable right out of the box. The only problem is that I tried them on and started slipping on my wood floors! I couldn’t believe how slippery the bottoms were! It seems to be just at the top near the toes, but I need shoes I can trust on the icy sidewalks! I’m on the fence about keeping these.

These boots are stylish for the winters out in Pennsylvania. The inside lining definitely keeps my feet warm. When I tried the boots on, I was surprised at how warm the insides were. I will have to wait until another snow storm this winter season to see if they’re waterproof and keep my feet dry.

Although, on the box that the shoes arrived in had a sticker that said “water-proof,” which sounds promising! I ordered a size 7 and I’m normally a 6 or 6. 5. I wore these boots with fuzzy socks and I still had room and nothing felt cramped.

I bought 2 of these boots, one for my daughter and one for myself. The boots look great and feel warm and cozy. They fit my daughter’s feet well, but she has narrow feet. She normally wears 8. 5, but the size 9 worked beautifully.

I also got a size 9, but I tend to need wider shoes. My size 9 didn’t fit because my foot was squished. I decided to try a size 10, but they weren’t any wider and were, of course, too long. The boot description reads that it is a medium width.

Buyers should be aware that the description is accurate and if you normally need a wider shoe, believe the company that the boot is only a medium. If you have a medium foot, I suggest you buy these! They are really cute and look great on!!!.

These caught my eyes in the store because the sweater material on the cuff and tongue made them look super-cute. When I tried them on, I was struck by how comfortable they are. The fleecy lining makes them warm and soft, like slippers.

I almost didn’t buy them because I wondered if I would use them. Let’s face it, these waterproof “duck boots” are not completely stylish. But a month later, I’m so glad to have them! They’ve come in very handy for wet, wintry weather and I’ve walked five miles in them comfortably without having to break them in.

I couldn’t decide between the black or the blue at first, but opted for the black. They look really cute with black leggings and a long sweater or jacket. (The blue were cute too, and the photo here is accurate as to the color.

It’s more of a bright blue than a dark navy. ) Lately I seem to be all over the place with shoe sizes (I tend to need a lot of toe room) and I tried on both the 8 and the 8. 5. I ended up buying the 8 and it fits well both with and without socks, so there doesn’t seem to be a need to size-up a half size as with so many other boots.

The fleece lining is a nice feature; on warmer rainy days I can just stick my feet in these boots without socks and am good to go. Another nice feature is the side zipper–no need to lace up and tie these boots every time you put them on.

I was looking for a new pair of boots that would be comfortable, warm, easy to get on and off and light on my feet. I came across the Flynn Duck Boot online. After reading the reviews, I decided to make the purchase.

They arrived very quickly, but alas, they were too big, as I’d sized up per the reviews. I quickly returned them and re ordered my normal size. I’m really chuffed, they fit perfectly and look great! I’m definitely ready for the cold weather.

These boots are really cute and warm, will be great for a cold, rainy day. They are a little bit tight in the toes, but not horrible. They are fur lined, which makes them great for wearing with no socks (and relieves some of the tightness around the toes), but unfortunately, the stitching on the tag sewn into the footbed is very sharp on one of my shoes and scratches the sole of my foot.

I will probably have to wear a lightweight sock just so I can’t feel the tag stitching. Still, a comfy shoe and super cute!.

I just received my boots. They are really cute and the fur lining on the inside will definitely keep your feet warm. The only downfall is that it fits snug. I wear a 7-1/2 to an 8. I ordered the 8 and it feels a little tight.

It’s not as tight if I don’t have on socks but living in Buffalo, NY, I need to layer up, especially when it snows. I will try to exchange them for a bigger size if it’s available, if not, I’ll have to get a refund for a different pair.

Next time, I’ll go in the store to try a duck boot on.

I ordered these boots online after spending a lot of time sifting through reviews trying to find the perfect pair for winter. I’ve been wearing these about a month and am just entering the thick of Chicago winter (it’s only January), and I’m not too happy with these.

Here’s to keeping it to the point. What’s Good: These are beautiful looking boots and they are definitely very waterproof. I’ve walked in the snow in these and they have kept my feet very dry. They’re easy to get on and off.

What’s Not Good: First thing is these boots run tight. I have narrow width size 6 feet and small calves and these boots are just TIGHT. I wouldn’t say they run small, because my toes have room and they fit the length of my foot just fine – but the width of my feet and calves feel like they are being squeezed.

It took a lot of breaking in to get them to ease up on the squeeze, but the process of that was simply uncomfortable, and they’re still tight. Second – these boots do not keep any warmth at all. Although they keep my feet dry, any time I’m outside in 25 degrees or less, my toes go numb.

And because they are tight, I can’t layer socks. My overall experience with these boots has just been discomfort. These are not winter boots – granted, the listing doesn’t necessarily claim that they are, but the reviews seemed promising for cold weather.

These would likely be best for any other time of the year where it’s not really cold, but just wet out.

These boots are the most attractive duck boots I have ever seen. They are super cute on, exactly as pictured and I REALLY wanted to keep them. BUT – they absolutely have zero sport, there is no structure to the sole.

I placed a small rock on my tile floor and stepped on it and could feel the rock through the shank of the boot. It is just rubber, with no embedded support structure. If I were in my 20’s I would have kept them because they are so attractive.

In my 50’s I value the condition of my feet too much to put them through walking any distance in unsupportive boots. Seriously, these are no more supportive than rubber rain boots that are meant to be pulled over your shoes.

Also, the zipper is barely adequate for putting the boot on, if it were an inch longer it would be useful. As it is, you have to really work to get the boots on. Having had many duck boots from the brands you think of when you think of duck boots, I have to agree that the rubber on these boots marks so much more easily than other brands – making these purely a fashion boot, and light use at that.

I bought these at full price a while ago (cognac color) and I am literally getting ready to go and buy multiples of them in every color, just on the off chance they stop making these in the future. (Especially since they are on sale right now).

They are THE MOST comfortable shoes I’ve ever had, period. And I primarily used Birkenstocks in the past. These boots have amazing arch support (I have high arches and I’m very picky about this). The sole is a great thickness, you don’t feel ANYTHING when stepping on stuff.

I fall often and the high ankle help stabilize me. I never avoid puddles now, even fairly deep ones. The zipper makes it to where I don’t have to tie my laces every time. They’re super cute no matter what I am wearing.

The traction is amazing! They aren’t hot and stuffy like some boots can get, but they keep me warm and dry in winter. They’re literally the perfect boot. I really hope the sale isn’t due to them discontinuing them.

Used them right at the end of a bunch of snow but enough to report on them. Quality seems nice. leather on top is very good. Totally waterproof in slush as should be expected. Pull tabs necessary for me, and worked well.

mine size was a half a size large (doesn’t come in half sizes as you can see) and I had a little trouble pulling (pull tabs good) on but I think that will loosen up, once on they were true to size and a half size too big, a little loose.

I think once the top loosens up a bit I will be able to use a heavier sock and they should fit a little better. If I had to do a long walk at this point the looseness would be and issue, maybe a blister.

As it is, I am using for snow blowing and going from one structure to another on my little one acre “farm” so they are keeping my feet dry. They do look good with jeans over the top. if that matters.

Not so much for me.

I had a pair of these for ten years and was generally satisfied. I used them mostly on the weekends for spring turkey and earl fall archery. My activity increased the beginning of this year with retirement.

The right boot developed a crack right behind the toe line. Given there age I assumed it was dry rot. Liking the comfort and fit I ordered another pair. More active this year with mushroom hunting etc.

But six months in and the right boot has cracked I the same place. I don’t think I’ll be ordering another pair.

This is my second pair of these boots. I like the side zipper, makes them easier to slip on. I wish they would last a little longer, the heel on one boot separated so I had to get a new pair. 2 or 3 years old, only worn in the winter.

They do run a little small, I just order the next size. It’s great that Sportsman’s doesn’t charge shipping if an item doesn’t fit correctly, they pay pickup and return. Other places don’t, I purchased an item from midway, they charged me both ways when the item didn’t fit correctly – won’t buy from them again.

These boots arrived about the same time as the coldest January we’ve had in nearly a decade, and have simplified how I keep my feet warm while looking absolutely stunning in the deep red of the Granate pebbled leather! I didn’t need to break them in before wearing for them to be wearable (comfortable enough) but I did need to break them in & add another wool insole to make them warm enough for this winter (plus warm socks) and “I want to live in these” comfortable.

I did notice after lots of walking in these stylish warm boots that my mild plantar fasciitis was getting worse so I added a 3/4 length inexpensive insole made for plantar fasciitis support, and that solved that challenge.

I have been using the leather care kit weekly and the boots continue to look like new even as I walk through the salt and slush of MN parking lots in January. I also wear them on short winter hikes without a problem when the snow is fluffy and cold is the main challenge.

If it’s overly wet, then dampness can seep through like with all leather shoes I’ve had, but I’m hoping continued conditioning will help that. I decided on these particular boots because I really wanted gorgeous red boots and these looked comfy, warm, and like they would fit in with my minimalist wardrobe with flair.

Even after only a month I’m in love with these boots and all the compliments they bring. Purchasing the Arhus in Granate was the best footwear decision I’ve made in a long time! I hope to be enjoying them for years.

These boots are everything as promised. And more! I have two different sized feet as a result of a condition known as lymphedema and I often have to purchase two pairs to make one. With other boots like UGG, Merrell, Keen, I cannot make the “turn” necessary to get my left foot down the shaft and into the boot.

With Duckfeet Arbus, the construction design and the laces allow enough room for an easy glide in. The size 39 provides ample room in the toe box and fits each foot comfortably and provides great support.

I don’t even need my orthotics. Well worth the price as I believe I will get a lifetime of wear out of these. From the sub-zero winters to the crisp days in spring and fall in Wisconsin – these are my go to boots.

Now I’m contemplating what summer footwear would be best. Lastly – the customer service department is outstanding. Somehow I had my former address associated with my credit card info and when air realized these would have been sitting on a front porch in Texas, and not Wisconsin, I called and emailed and had an immediate response and correction to the order.

Well I cannot deny and I give them credit for having some of the best looking casual shoes on the planet. And the quality of the materials they use are second to none but where they fail is on the inside and how they feel when I first put my feet into them miserable! What a huge disappointment I will be as kind as I can by saying it feels like setting your foot into a cozy wool entrance but the landing is very hard.

Like you’re Stepping onto and walking on a piece of wood with a thin cheap grade of wool glued on top of the wool. Also my feet are quadruple E and the only come in a double E but and formed me they will stretch on the sides.

Keep hearing they will break in, break in, break in! Well I sure hope so because I probably can’t return them at this point in the process of breaking him in is very painful and I’m hoping for the best and trying to be positive but my bunion is screaming! While my wide feet may stretch them out it still doesn’t make the sole any more comfortable so please duck feet, get a clue and put more Cush or a thicker higher quality wool in the bottom of your shoes!.
