20 Best Shoes For Ankle Fusion (2023 Updated)

I got these mini Uggs as a gift for Christmas. They were a size USA 6 which is what my classic Uggs & tall Uggs are that I own. I couldn’t even get my foot in the minis! I thought I was gonna pull the tab off trying to get my foot in them! Took them back to the store and was told that was a very common problem they were seeing with this style boot.

Honestly, I have a very small foot & Skinny ankle/leg. The shaft opening was not much bigger than my arm! Pitiful!.

I purchased the mini black pair in store last Tuesday and I am loving them! Never had the mini’s before and am really surprised how much I love the style. I think I will be sticking to the mini’s going forward.

Also, the associate that helped me was super helpful and kind. I wish I could remember her name but unfortunately my memory isn’t the best when it comes to names. I got a size 10 which is my normal size and I am wearing them without socks and they fit just perfect!.

I’m so disappointed in this pair. They are difficult to get on but once they are on they rub on the heel. I feel like I have a blister forming after one hour just wearing them around the house. The inside feels like there’s no fur covering the seam.

Just bought today in the store but will be returning tomorrow :(.

I now have these in THREE colors! I love the narrower look of the front of these booties. They are cut narrower, but still fit my somewhat wider feet. I got my usual size in a Med width. They look great with both wider leg pants and skinny jeans.

Even though they are comfy and have a wedge heel, they dress up well; yet they can also be more casual. I really love them. My younger coworkers all complimented them and asked where I got them!.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my boots !!! Sadly my doctor told me I wouldn’t be able to wear flats anymore. Wedges or with a little heel is best. So when I saw these boots and read the reviews I knew I was making the right decision.

I LOVE this boot! I had been looking at it for a few months but because I have a similar pair from Aerosoles I hesitated to order it. Well, this boot is so comfortable and looks fabulous I have worn them every chance I get! They are stylish and comfortable.

I wish they were just a bit narrower but I have that issue with almost every shoe. Just wish I could have gotten them in the other color they were sold out!.

I purchased this for my upcoming trip to Paris. It seems extremely confortable for walking and warm enough. The only down side is that I find it to be a little boyish, so I purchased a pair of extremely girly laces, flowers and ribbons.

I love my new boots. This is my first Propet purchase, but will likely not be the last. As soon as they arrived, I wore them around the house for hours without any trouble at all. They look super cute pared with boot socks.

I usually wear wide width, but ordered these in extra wide, knowing I’d be wearing them with thicker socks. Reading through the reviews, I see many people had issues with the color they ordered. I ordered black, which is a very accurate description of what I received.

I love that the boots are already treated for wet conditions. I don’t care for laces, but I love the side zippers.

I wear 10-11N shoes, depending on the last. These are too comfortable to send back, but, as I have found with other Propet shoes, they run a little long. The narrow size accommodates wool socks for me, and, because I have skinny ankles, I have to tie them as tight as the tops will go.

They are comfortable, and the toe box is high enough to accommodate a knobby, arthritic big toe. For my hard-to-fit, long, narrow feet, they will be good enough.

Very happy so far. Fit well, comfortable. The zippers on the side are super convenient to slip them on. Real leather! And the price was unbeatable! Was looking for everyday shoes that were at least water resistant for unexpected rain and they fit the bill.

I’m typically a 7 and since they had wide sizes available, a 6. 5 fit perfectly.

I needed a lightweight golf shoe that could also be worn off the course. These fit well and had good support unlike many of the other “mesh top” golf shoes. Durability is tbd. I’ve only played two rounds in them.

I rotate my shoes based on course and expected weather.

These could be the most comfortable golf shoes ever!! Use in warm/dry weather golfing, and enjoy the comfort and traction. YES. you must fully loosen the laces to put on/off. seems like an easy trade-off for the reward.

I just got my new shoes today right before my scheduled golf game. I was reluctant to wear them because I thought I would need to break them in. I was so wrong. Not only are these shoes cushiony, they are also very breathable.

I wore them to my golf game and was comfortable from beginning to end.

I found these while on a search to replace my paddock boots, and they were so cute I couldn’t resist picking up a pair, even though I don’t think I’ll be wearing these to the barn any time soon. I would definitely call these more of a fashion boot although the waterpoofing and the nice tread really make them quite practical, which I love.

I ultimately went with a pair of Keswicks for barn work, but these are super cute to wear to work or to run errands on a fall/winter day with leggings or jeans. The leather quality on these (at least the black pair that I bought) is absolutely phenomenal, the leather is so soft and smooth.

I’m on a waterproof shoe kick (I guess I’m getting old?) so I love this feature of them. I confess I’ve only had them one day so can’t speak to durability, but so far I’m very happy with the comfort and the look of them.

They are not high enough to rub shins (my Keswicks required some breaking in in that department so I’m very familiar with it). I would say that the insole isn’t as supportive as the Keswicks so I may switch out the insole to an Ariat Nitro pair that I bought separately, but that’s an easy fix, and I do have an uncommonly high arch, so this may not be a concern for everyone.

Overall these are super boots and I would love to come back for the weathered brown or a similar color when they are back in stock. or on sale as they are quite pricey! As far as fit I would say they are true to size (I bought an 8.

5 as I typically am in Ariats and I do think I could get a thicker sock in there than what I’m currently wearing, which is nice for winter days) – I have a foot on the wider side and these are not causing me any pain, I believe the leather is so soft that it stretches for wider feet pretty quickly.

When I first put on my Wexfords I was a little nervous because they didn’t fit quite like the boots I’d been wearing around town for the past two years. Maybe it was the lack of any kind of support in my previous boots, or maybe it was the slightly higher ankle on the Wexford.

Either way, the more I wore them, the more I loved them. I mostly use these boots for wearing around town, whether running errands or going on walks in the winter. I appreciate that they’re stylish and have a nice outsole for better grip on snowy or wet surfaces — something I’d been hoping to find in a single pair of boots for awhile.

I like that they can be both casual and dressy, and I can stand in them for a long time without any kind of discomfort. The waterproofing is an added bonus! I can tell by the quality of construction that I’ll be wearing these boots for many years.

Got this in a size 7 in the brown and java. I usually wear anywhere between a 6. 5-7. 5. These boots were too wide for me and just a tad bit long. When I walked the heel would slide. I noticed the right boot was already stretched out.

I didn’t want to be limited to wearing a thick sock which would’ve fixed the fit issue so I returned them. Just waiting on the 6. 5 to come back in stock. The leather will stretch. The insoles are the most comfortable out of any of my boots.

The height is similar to other Chelsea boots that I have. I’m only 5’2″. They didn’t sit at a weird spot on my ankle. Nor did they rub the ankle to irritate it. The leather is high quality. Great, neutral brown color, no orange tint.

I can see why some reviewers buy these boots over and over again. I had been looking for awhile in dept stores and couldn’t find a nice looking brown (actual) leather boot. They were either a cheap synthetic topper or nubuck.

I love these boots! It was so hard to find simple, classic lace-up boots in a wide width, but I’m so glad I found these. The color and the canvas material keep it from being a super basic look. I like details like the side zip and the contrasting stripe along the back.

I also really like that the canvas is lighter weight and more environmentally friendly than leather! Comfort-wise, I find that the canvas doesn’t rub on my feet the way some leather boots do. The thick outsole and insole cushioning also keep these comfortable and supportive.

I have been a customer for many years and your products have change a lot. Sizing has been a problem. Wide width are not fitting as such which has increased my returns and disappointments. What happened to the good old days of great shoes.

It seems as if they are manchine only made. n Without humans measurements one size fitts all style.

These are going to be my go-to boots to style a million ways this winter. Here’s the low down on sizing and fit. First, I am consistently a 9-9. 5 M in American sizing. Generally, I wear a 40 in European sizes but the 39 fits well (if generously) with room to spare for a thick sock.

The leather is nice and soft and as I wore these around the house, the boots already started to give. Now, the shaft is pretty narrow – my calves are average and there is no room to spare beyond a sock – but again, the leather is soft and the elastic is good so there is no discomfort whatsoever.

This narrow shaft works to my advantage as it helps prevent my heel from slipping in the boot. However, those with larger calves might have a problem. Regarding getting on and off, I didn’t have a problem at all as the elastic gives nicely.

Obviously these are not as easy an on/off as a shorter (or laced/zipper) boot, but the difference is not a big deal at all IMHO.

These boots are so comfortable. Wasn’t sure what size to get as there were mixed reviews about being TTS or too small. I normally wear 7. 5 and 8 in sneakers and chose to purchase the size 8 to have the option of wearing thicker socks.

I definitely could’ve purchased 7. 5 and they would have fit perfectly but size 8 is perfect when wearing thicker socks. I also have narrow feet and the width was perfect for me. I removed 1 star because the top does rub against by leg.

I love the looks of these. They’re a little hard to put on, at least for the first time (I’ve only tried them on once, to be fair, maybe the elastic eases some with wear). I love the fitted shaft. But I’m usually a straightforward size 8, sometimes a 8.

5 with substantial socks. These felt like my toes were hitting the end in an 8 so I’m returning to try the 9. I will probably need to use insoles to get the fit right. They seemed comfortable and well made so hoping the 9 works out.

So I sent them back weeks ago for a refund and still have yet to receive any confirmation of them being received or not and no refund has been credited either. Dr. Martens definitely needs to take a step back and invest in the quality of their shoes again as well as hire more customer service/returns staff.

I mean aren’t you a worldwide renowned brand? Geez, get a grip. This isn’t a good look for you. Stop being greedy,cheap, and cutting corners. Put your money where your mouth is. They were shipped to me on time and everything, just the product quality itself(defective, looked like each shoe came from a different batch) was lacking and the shoe company is lagging as far as keeping up with stuff goes.

Don’t take on what you can’t handle Dr. Martens. Slow your roll. Stop trying to come out with as many new products as possible and sell as much as you possibly can, you obviously aren’t prepared for that.

Get back to the basics quality over quantity and hire more on the floor staff as well as pay them better so the job can be done Right. You must be spending all your money on advertisement and fancy designers to come out with highly unnecessary new products every week/month because you feel insecure about remaining relevant.

I really love these they look great with skinny jeans or athletic leggings which is what I usually wear. Order the wrong size at first because I didn’t realize the UK sizing was first so I gave those to a friend and ordered another pair.

Those were the slightest bit narrow on the pinky toe area but thicker socks solved having any discomfort I still don’t think I could wear they out where I would be working or standing a lot. Only other problem was the insole that is in them is a little odd it as a puffy portion on the back half that is noticeable when wearing.

Otherwise not a terrible shoe. I probably wouldn’t buy them again though if I have the choice just because I want something I can wear for a while if I’m hanging out with friends or going to a casual event.

I will start by saying I had my last pair of canvas Doc Martens for 6 years before they wore out. I ordered these to replace my last pair. These boots are the most comfortable! They are true to size.

They have a nonslip sole. I can’t say enough good stuff about these boots. I will continue buying these canvas boots as long as they are made!.

I tried the narrow in 2 sizes at the store and bought a pair, but both are too wide since my heel slips up and down even with insoles from my podiatrist. The slims don’t fit either–too slim. Even store clerk said so.

The shoes are made well, but do they fit ANYONE? I couldn’t find more than 1 pair that seemed to fit in the store. BTW, I can wear a $20 medium width Lifestride slip on without heel slippage! Surprisingly, while visiting the store 3 times, I never saw anyone make a purchase.

I have learned that your shies should fit all around. The correct size, fit, width, with inner soles. At first I wasn’t Worried about the look. So the string ups laces in many colors were my comfort shoe.

I had the width and room for my toes comfortably. Then I realized that SAS has styles with comfort. Oh that made my feet very Comfortable. I do not like to travel out and about in bad weather. Fortunately I am at the age I can choose the type of outings to go out in and not worry about my shoes or my feet.

Being a diabetic your feet and toes become very important for their care. Now I have style, fit, no one believes I am wearing SAS.

I had bought the original pair that Jade Black was based on (I think the very first boots offered) and LOVE them. They hold up very well, with the black color going deep into the leather. I actually clean, condition, and polish them before they look like they need it.

So they are always ready to go. On the other hand, the color on the Jade Walnut, while pretty, scuffs very easily.

ordering was straight forward and easy. The trainers needed the lace holes poking through which is annoying but apart from that they are a great colour
