20 Best Shoe For Warehouse Work (2023 Updated)

I am almost flat-footed, have very wide feet with large bunions & I have bad knees. I am on my feet all day at work – stairs, ladders, uneven surfaces, need safety toe, etc. I am 6ft, weigh 280 and am really hard on shoes.

When I buy shoes, I get size 14-4E, but they are still not comfortable or wide enough sometimes and I began to wonder “Will I ever find a shoe that helps me!?”. I researched for a long time and discovered Ortho Feet.

Reading the reviews, I was skeptical because I’ve read reviews on other shoes that said they were wide enough or comfortable etc. But then I saw that one review that said the shoe was too wide (which I’ve never heard anyone say), so I decided to order a pair.

After having worn my new 14 Extra Wide Ortho Feet shoes for 4 weeks now, I am beyond happy about the comfort, support and durability. I didn’t even know that they would come with all the different orthotic insoles & arch supports! I was also skeptical when it said they were waterproof, but the last couple days I was walking in & out of puddles on very rainy, snowy days & my feet stayed warm & dry.

My feet feel like they are in heaven and haven’t stopped thanking me! 🙂 I can’t thank the Ortho Feet Company enough for putting considerable thought and effort into shoes that help people like me!.

I knew from the first time I put on the boots I had something special. When I slid them on my feet they went on easy and felt comfortable. This never happens when I try on work boot. I stood up and started to walk, I immediately noticed no rubbing on my toes, sides of my feet or ankles.

While walking those first few steps I noticed that my knees were different, I can’t explain the feeling I just knew there was a difference. A little history all work boots hurt my feet no matter the brand.

I am a mechanic on my feet for 10 to 12 hours a day for 22 years now. Have been suffering from plantar flashia for years now. These boots have relieved my terrible pain. With the arch support and optional inserts supplied i was able to build a custom fit boot for me to my liking and comfort.

Hands down the most comfortable anything I have put on my feet from date of purchase. I noticed the benefits immediately. No break in required as other companies suggest. I have had many high end boots and shoes throughout the years and these boots by far are the best.

Also I can’t believe the value. For how much shoes cost now days and I have a full grain leather boot for less then some tennis shoes sell for that don’t last or hold up to abuse. Extremely happy with how comfortable these boots are and will definitely buy again and again now that have discovered them.

At first these sneakers seemed a great purchase. They look pretty stylish, they are very comfortable and seem to provide a good amount of shock absorption. All of those things withstood a 6 months long “trial”.

But materials did not. Within the first month the bottoms of my shoes started to shed. I started loosing small pieces of rubber here and there due to a pattern of the bottom. By month 5 the fabric started to reap on the sides of my shoes.

Not cool. I wore these for about 30-35 hours per week for a standing/walking job. I’ve had many different shoes before to do the same job and none of them started to break down so quickly. Oh, and I can’t say they are the most slip proof shoes I’ve owned either.

I stayed away from the dish pit, just saying. Yes, these are comfy, yes, they are nice looking, but I don’t have the energy to buy new shoes every half a year. Will see how this other pair I bought does, but I won’t be buying these Skechers again.

I have had a pair of these in black for a while and they are the most comfortable footwear I think I have ever owned. They come up a tiny but large but I think most trainers do and it allowed me to put a memory insole in to add to the comfort underfoot.

I was so pleased when I found the same trainer in white and the fit/comfort of these are no different. However I’m a little disappointed in the shade of white. They do have a tinge of grey about them.

Another review stated they were a ‘clean’ white but I have to disagree. They look to me like they have been washed with a black sock. Nothing too offensive, I’m just a fan of pure white trainers. I will still keep them due to the comfort factor.

I had these shoes before, after wearing them every day for maybe a couple of years they were falling apart. I went to the store and picked out a new pair, and was actually surprised when I got home that they were the same as my old shoes that had treated me well.

My only issue, and it’s a BIG one, is that these new shoes are very slippery. They should not be marketed as skip resistant. I noticed it the first time I wore them to work and have almost slipped many times since then.

I work in a restaurant and it is very important to have skip resistant shoes for safety reasons. I’m quite disappointed because everything else about these shoes are great, but I bought them solely for work, and they are not safe.

These shoes are so great! With a work boot feel and a basketball sneaker look I couldn’t be happier. Being that I have a bad lower back and have had one back surgery in the past my boots have recently been starting to bother my lower back as I used them everyday.

I’ve decided to start using sneakers again and the pain has greatly been reduced. And I’m so thankful I found these shoes because I always loved reeboks and I used to have basketball sneakers that look like this.

All I can say is that these things are great, they feel good when walking and the memory foam on the inner soul makes them so much more comfortable. And to be honest I will probably be ordering another pair pretty soon just to have an extra pair put up in the closet in case they ever stop making them.

I wear a men’s 11 1/2. Measured my feet according to the instructions. Ordered a 11 1/2. Arrived in a week. They were HUGE! Like a 13 huge. Returned them at my cost. Re-ordered same shoe through Target (free returns in store if needed.

I did) re-measured my feet and ordered a 10 1/2. Arrived in a week and again HUGE! Like the same size as before. These are not the Reebok of the 80’s. Both the 4500 were sad. Cheap thin leather, no padding, thin cheap rubber soles.

From what I understand, Reebok sold to Adidas. Then went cheap. I also bought the 4600. Too narrow and with cheap synthetic leather. They need to up their quality in these products. This used to be a good company.

These shoes wouldn’t have lasted a week in my teens or twenties. They look retro but that’s it.

The shoes look absolutely amazing. Unfortunately for me, I have flat feet so perhaps that why I found the shoes too narrow. They were also roughly half a size longer. The insole is thin and doesn’t really provide much comfort, should be an easy fix though.

Regarding the velcro strap, not entirely sure about the purpose behind it. It tends to slide up onto your ankle and not remain in place. Further, the velcro can damage the laces in the long term. Good style element however.

I have been wearing these shoes at work, 8 to 12 hours a day, for the past 8 months. Let me tell you, they were absolutely wonderful for the first 5-ish months. After month 6, I HAD to find insoles due to the inner lining of the shoe losing all of the shape.

We’re officially on the market for new work shoes all together. The leg, knee, hip, and feet fatigue is too much to handle. For the price they were ($74. 99) I was hoping they could keep up with long days.

They are very water resistant and slip resistant, so that’s a perk. I love that they’re slip on style because I’m always on the go. Overall, they’re good short term shoes. Not at all for the long haul.

I work on my feet minimum 8 hrs a day. I have extremely wide feet due to genetic deformities and dead tendons behind 4 of my 10 toes, making them very prone to cramping especially if the fit/material of the shoe is too restrictive.

The mesh wraps perfectly around my feet and the sole keeps the heels of my feet plush throughout my shifts. You may want to buy a waterproof spray if there’s a chance of spillage to your shoes. Mesh is extremely breathable making for comfy feet when it gets too hot, but water seeps right in as quickly as water seeps into socks.

For me, the shoe has to be solid enough to avoid any injuries to my feet, but also breathable enough to ensure proper moisture wicking.

It also needs to be narrow and flexible enough to press a clutch pedal in a smaller vehicle. This shoe, while a little bit expensive, checks all of those boxes. It is comfortable to wear and is very light, with good tread.

It drains water well, so well in fact that they dried about as fast as boating shoes after being submerged in river water while kayaking and seem no worse for wear.

This shoe style has clean lines, is very comfortable, and is highly recommended for everyday wear. The gel insole is excellent and very cushy, and the squared toebox gives a little extra room for extended wear.

The top leather is playable and resists the permanent creasing of a stiffer material. Finally, the rubber sole and heel flex add to the comfortable fit.

I bought these for my wedding (in two months) so I would have a nice pair of comfortable shoes. I haven’t worn these for any length of time, but just trying them on and wearing them around the house makes me confident I’ll be standing/walking/dancing comfortably on my big day with no worries.

I’ve had Dockers shoes in the past and I know they make great footwear. This is no exception.

My spouse works in the restaurant business & has to wear brown dress shoes that are able to with stand busy kitchen life. I purchased these shoes on 3/30, they were delivered first week of April. It is only 05/11/21 and the soles have holes in them.

He came home with wet feet today from work. I spend good money for him to have supportive, safe & comfortable shoes. Now, I’m going to have to purchase another pair – LESS THAN 3 MONTHS of wear! This is unacceptable.

Killed two of these in less than a year. First pair lasted two months and the sole started seperating from the rest of shoe. They were so comfy I thought I’d give them one more shot. 2nd pair lasted 9 months with my left foot blowing a hole in the side with an inch of the safety toe is visible from the outside.

The foam cushion is about 50% remaining with the rest being worn right through. I still loved how these felt on my feet during a long day but wish they held up atleast marginally better.

I work in retail sales in wine and spirits and these shoes are perfect to wear while working. The steel toe is useful should a case of wine or spirits fall onto my foot and the soles are very slip resistant, helpful when a customer drops a bottle which breaks.

They are roomy for my feet, I can flex my toes while wearing them. The only drawback, and it’s a minor one, is that they are very heavy. I wear them everyday while working and would recommend them.

I bought a pair of these 6 years ago. i work 12 hour shifts 5 days a week. When Im off, I still wear them everywhere I go. They are still in good shape and will probably last a couple more years. Im worried they are going to quit making them so Im ordering another pair to be on the safe side.

Im 50 years old and have never had a better more reliable work shoe than these. Love them.

I brought my first pair when I started an electrician job 2-1/2 years ago. Super comfortable, just the right weight. The sole is cushy and shock absorbing. Putting on & taking off protective shoe coverings is a breeze.

Above all, I absolutely love not having laces! I wear these in rain, snow and mud. About once a quarter, I’ll put a layer of protective “mink oil” for waterproofing. The uppers are still in pretty good condition.

The sole on this work horse pair has finally faded down to the stitching and after some pondering, I’ve decided to let these old friends go. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you decide to pick up a pair.

These GB Romeo’s are my go to work shoes. I work in the foodservice delivery industry. So I need a work shoe that is comfortable, non slip and built to last. These shoes provide very good traction on kitchen floors.

They also provide very good grip going up and down the ramp. There not steel toe, but they are very comfortable from right out the box. I’ve been buying these shoes for several years now and they have out lasted more expensive shoes and boots previously purchased.

With the type of work that I do, I’m very rough on the soles of work shoes. These shoes are very durable. Especially the soles. I definitely recommend these shoes.

Mom LOVES these garden shoes! I & my sisters went in together to purchase these much-needed shoes that my mother wears at least 50% of every single day for an early Mothers Day gift for 2022. She’s in her 70’s and very very active on her 2-acre ranch and wears shoes out fast.

She located these and they shipped super fast; were here in less than one week. Note: They run small when considering sizing. I wear a 10; her a 9 However in these particular Sloggers Rain and Garden Shoes in Hummingbird Print (red), the 9 was super small so we went with the only size up from there which is a 10 (zero half sizes) and she’s happy now.

I tried them on and for me they were very snug and my toes hit at the toes tip once on my foot. They are lined and have a lining securely in place around the entire neck of the shoe. They are really pretty and could be used I think as a shoe for healthcare.

I used to nurse for a living and these feel comfortable with a great grabby tread on the bottom. Super Pretty and Super Shiny. Heavyweight shoes! :).

Solid shoe for rainy or sloppy days. A little slush on the pavement? No problem! My main complaint is the back of this shoe isn’t quite high enough, and it is too wide and flops a bit. This could let some water in if you aren’t careful about stepping in a bigger puddle.

I struggled with what size to get, and here’s how that worked out. On average I wear a size 7. 5. Sandals and some shoes without socks I can do a 7, boots and sneakers I’m more like an 8 due to socks.

Crocs were always hard to fit with me because 7s were too tight on the toes and 8s too loose. So, I got an 8. They’re too big, but only a little bit. I’m wondering if a 7 would have been good with thin socks, but I can’t stand it being tight on the toes so a little loose is better I guess.

I wore thick socks with these and the backs still moved as I walked. Would half sizes really be that hard to make? As for the color/design, I got the purple paw prints and LOVE it. So unique and so me.

Nice, vibrant purple with cute paw prints. This is a well-made shoe. It’s a bit heavier than you might imagine, but I don’t mind. The tread is great. I was in a store on a shiny smooth floor after walking through slush and no slipping whatsoever.

Great tread when wet! Best of all, if you walk through mud you can rinse them off and they’re clean. I absolutely recommend. Great to wear on the way to work and change into dress shoes inside!.

This is my fourth pair of these waterproof shoes from Tractor Supply! I keep a pair outside each door; they’re very quick to slip on and off, which I do multiple times a day. They reduce the amount of dirt, mud, and stickers I track in and also help my indoor shoes last longer.

They’re extremely comfortable for a gardening-type shoe; I can and do wear them for hours at a time. All parts of the shoe are very durable; the soles are surprisingly thick; I’ve never had trouble with tears or holes anywhere, and I leave them outside all year round.

They’re easy to clean–just wash off with a hose, including the removable footbed inserts. I used to buy them in-store, but they sell out very quickly, so now I buy them on-line, and at great sale prices.

The best shoe of this type I’ve ever used–recommended!.

This is a beautiful shoe! After years of wearing a different brand popular among dancers who wear wide widths, my daughter switched to these shoes. The better fit of this shoe made a visible difference in her dancing.

The ONLY reason we gave this review a 3 for durability is because there seems to be some inconsistency among the several pairs she’s gone through. Sometimes the box sinks prematurely before the shank is even broken in.

This seems to happen about every third pair. However, on the ‘good’ pairs, she is able to use them longer than the previous brand.

I have been wearing Gaynors for so long but I find the quality has diminished with their European production that I have set my sights on the Russian Pointes as my next go-to shoe. My feet are wide but compressible and my toes are rather tapered so my big toe gets all the pressure on pointe.

With these, I feel no pressure at all. I wear the Almaz in the hard, vamp 2 and width 3. It’s a rather narrow shoe and it fits my wide yet compressible feet pretty well. I have no trouble dancing in them even though they’re hard as rocks.

About the sizing it is rather odd. I wear a us 7 but I wear a 38 in these. I suggest sizing up and hopefully get properly fitted at your dance store. This was my experience with the sizing but it might be different for you.

What I can say is the chart is kind of off and they seem to offer you a really small and tight shoe.

I am in love with these shoes. I dance at a college company and wear these for about 4-6 hours per week in technique class. I have been dancing on them for almost 3 months, and they have not broken down other than to mold to my foot, and a little loosening at the top of the box.

SO EASY to break in, they were broken in within 15-20 minutes, with a few roll-throughs and rises. As someone with a difficult to fit foot and chronic trouble getting over pointe (thanks, low arches) these not only get me perfectly up on my box but give a lovely arch to my foot! Incredible.

As mentioned in other reviews, the platform does look small on these shoes, but I have not noticed any significant difference wearing these vs. other brands with larger platforms. If anything, the smaller ones allow me to balance better, and make the shoes less difficult to work through.

That said, I would not classify these as ‘beginner’ shoes because of the platform. The satin is a beautiful color, and for me has held up well. One of my favorite things about these shoes is the that they are ‘bare bones’, meaning they are light and very stripped down, without any unhelpful padding in the toe or a shag carpet on the sole that makes your feet feel like they are in a sauna.

Just canvas! I love this, because these are a blank slate. You can adjust your padding as needed, and you are always able to feel the floor. They are a hard shoe, and moderately loud on the floor. I personally don’t mind this, and they are not as loud as others I have heard.

Finally, these are THE MOST COMFORTABLE POINTE SHOES I HAVE EVER WORN. When my pointe fitter opened by saying ‘I think these are actually really comfortable’, I had my doubts. Pointe shoes and comfort often do not mix.

However. These shoes. I can wear them an entire class period with no undue discomfort, have not had chafing, nor do my toes lose all circulation when I go up. They are very comfortable for me! When I first got them, I could wear them without padding (which is saying something, I’m a chicken and always need my ouch pouches).

They have wonderful support, and I never feel that my feet are being compressed or pressured, no telescoping or crunching. When I am up on pointe, I don’t feel any discomfort at all. If you have a chance to try these shoes in person, I highly recommend it! (Also, no drawstring!!).

I have been wearing this model of boot for well over a decade now and will keep doing so until they are eventually no longer made. These are Justin’s all singing, all dancing pull on boots. These were the first pair of boots to actually last me 1 full year of shop floor, welding, fabricating & machining use.

This meant I didn’t have to buy a second pair of boots out of my own pocket after the company supplied the first pair. My current pair are now on year 3, now that I’m no longer on the shop floor full time but wearing them all day, every day, including doing yard work, is finally starting to take it’s toll on the lining.

It is starting to come loose at the heel and will sometimes try to move down when they are pulled on BUT, they are still waterproof! The Vibram soles still have useful tread on them too after all this time! I’m not into the square toe boots.

My feet are not square, so neither should my boots be! These are a great pair of boots and are worth every cent. If pull on boots are your thing, then you need to look at these.

I have been wearing Justin boots for about 18 years and they have gone down will terribly. I bought my size and could not get my foot in the boot. Shelper’s was fantastic handling the refund. I got with Justin about the issue and their response was a certain type of ES series boots were running a half to one whole size small, try something else.

I am not sure knowing a boot or several types are small coming out of the factory and not letting retailers or consumers know is how quality companies operate. Letting a factory put out off spec products seems like poor quality management.

I don’t recommend Justin or their many other brands.

This is the second pair of these I have purchased. First pair I bought from TSC in Montana working in the oil field 4 years ago. They were great boots and held up very well. The uppers were still good when I tossed them because the sole finally detached from the boot.

They had marks from a chain saw, protecting my foot during a mishap, numerous horses stepped on them, and they took a beating during my construction work. I tried a pair of Ariats, but returned them to TSC (who refunded my money happily) and got another pair of these Justins.

They are more comfortable than the Ariats on my toes and feet which must be wider than most. I wear a lot of Ropers and Stetson’s, but when it comes to work, these Justins can’t be beat. My wife doesn’t let me wear boots into the house so these come on and off easier than lace up boots.

I wear them year round, and these allow more room in the toe area for thick socks when I’m in single digit weather, whereas the Ariats were tight before the thicker socks in the same exact size boot.

I’m a 55 y. o. organic, grazing dairy farmer in Wi. When time allows, I also deer and rabbit hunt, predator trap, and trout fish our local streams. I’ve always struggled to find a boot that is comfortable to walk and work in, but would still keep my feet warm when I’m not moving around much.

These boots have kept my feet warm – all the time. Regardless if I’m sitting on a chilly fall deer stand, or milking in the parlor on a frigid day, my feet stay warm. Plus they offer great foot support and internal moisture control when you put some miles on them.

There are many days in the fall and winter that I have these boots on for 16 hrs every day, and I walk miles moving portable fences for my cows, and these boots have held up great. Warm, waterproof, and comfortable.

The boot itself is good. Husband/farmer wore his winter/summer for almost 2 years until this springs muck did them in. The boot is an Overland Hi. Cabela’s needs to get their advertising/display straightened out.

I ordered the Overland Hi & got the Mid & was charged for the Hi price. Cabela’s did make good on it after I called them. They actually sent these Premium which are the Overland Hi to replace the Mid ones.

Problem was we needed them for a blizzard & flooding & got the wrong ones. What a disappointment opening the box. It was a hassle too with the phone calls & the return & it took some time but finally got the right ones.

Cabela’s needs to make a correction on the advertising/display so watch what you’re buying. All in all, a good boot, good fit.

I have put these boots through the ringer. These boots only come in whole sizes, so before my review I’ll answer the question that most people with half sizes (like me) ask: if, for example, you wear a size 9.

5, order the size 9. I ordered these boots last year around this time, and I think they are amazing. The rubber is extremely soft so they feel comfortable. But the softness does not mean sacrificing durability.

I’ve walked through thorn trees, multifloral rose, and 4″ honeysuckle stumps that would normally puncture leather boots. I have some puncture marks around the arches, but they have yet to go all the way through.

It’s almost like the rubber is self healing like an archery target. The hydroshield coating is very functional in shedding water, but once you put these into mud, the water does not bead up quite as much.

That’s OK, it’s an aesthetic issue. That same coating has kept my boots from checking,and cracking, even putting them in the back of my truck last summer. This is the first pair of boots that did NOT end up with those cracks that all my other rubber boots have had.

Oh yes, and they are still water proof after a year, top to bottom. Even the neoprene uppers, which had some snags from brush, stayed dry inside. I wore these into rocky creek beds, and the tread helped keep my feet in place, even on moss.

The thing that really separated these boots from my others is comfort. They are about 16″ high, but you can roll the calf down to about 10″. They are as comfortable to walk in down hill or up. The cushion keeps the fabric from sawing away at the sides of your leg, and they are even comfortable bare-foot.

The inside stitching, though tough, is soft enough that it never annoyed my skin, and I’ve yet to get blisters after the miles I’d put in. These will never be as comfortable as your leather Danners, but they are probably as comfortable as a rubber boot can be.

Can’t wait for my two year review.

I have had a total of 12 surgeries on my feet; both ankles are fused. I wear mid-calf Arizona braces on both. It is extremely difficult to find “normal” shoes that I can wear. These come in a wide width and work for me.

The blue, is a turquoise blue – the blue of some of the best turquoise out there. The shoes come with 2 pair of laces; both blue and black. I tried a pair of “relaxed fit” shoes, but they are not as wide as these and I had to return them.

I don’t need the hard toe case, but it causes no problems. My toes don’t know it is there. The soles are a modifies rocker sole – with the toe and heel areas being cut back and with a flat center area.

I have had complete/full rocker soled shoes, but they are dangerous for me to wear. They do no have any flat areas so they are very unstable when trying to sit down or stand up and I fell multiple times in them.

These have the stable mid area and I have no trouble standing, standing up or sitting down plus I get the benefit of the heel and toe areas when walking. I liked my first pair so much that I ordered a second pair of the blue/black ones and a pair of the all black.

These shoes are absolutely amazing for work. I am a Supervisor at UPS and was a package handler when I bought these. The cheap work boots I was using were causing me so much pain I almost couldn’t stand it.

I decided to take a chance and order these. From day one without even breaking them in beforehand they have been so comfortable and safe. They are great even in ice and snow I haven’t slipped yet. They have a little bit of height to them so I get an extra lift.

The size runs a little large but it worked out good as I was able to wear 2 pairs of socks with them through our bitter winter here in Chicago. I’ve dropped heavy boxes on my feet and with the composite toe haven’t been hurt at all.

I’d recommend them to everyone. My feet are the only things that aren’t killing me by end of day.

I bought these shoes because I have a lot of issues with my feet. Just had surgery for a bone spur removal on the top of my foot and also have bone spurs on my heals as well as inflamed plantar in the heal area.

I was excited to buy these shoes because of all the positive reviews. It did take a while to break them in. While they are not terrible, they are not what I hoped for. Maybe if I didn’t have so many things wrong with my feet they would be better, but I’m still in search of that comfortable shoe.

These shoes are not horrible by any means. I feel like they could be comfortable without issues. They do provide good heal support. My other problem is that they rub the side of my foot by my toes. I feel like 3 stars isn’t good enough but 4 stars would be too many.

I would probably go with a 3. 5. I think some people would really like them. While they are not my favorite, I do still wear them, just not every day. If you have really wide feet, I would not recommend them.

I’ve struggled with plantar fasciitis for about 4 years now. I actually had surgery 3 years ago to correct it in my left foot. I was resigned to being forced to wear ugly shoes for the rest of my life, but I figured I’d give this shoe a try.

I was not disappointed! I read all the reviews, took the time to break them in, and will definitely be buying another pair when these need to be replaced. The arch support is fantastic. The Achilles support is awesome.

I have more narrow feet, so I was a little concerned about all the comments regarding a wide toe box. It is wide and doesn’t crunch my toes, but not so wide that it looks or feels like clown shoes like Birkenstock sandals look on me.

I can wear this shoe all day and not have any pain in my left foot anymore. They seem to be true to size. I wear and 8. 5 and ordered an 8. 5. They fit my feet perfectly. I would definitely recommend this shoe!.

Have owned these for about a month. The Pros: 1. The heel cushioning system works pretty well as my heel pain is definitely reduced but not eliminated. 2. The toe box is my favorite feature. I have never owned a pair of shoes that didn’t put some kind of pressure on my toes at some point.

With these, I can stand all day long and feel absolutely zero pressure on my forefoot/toes. 3. They look better than I expected. The cons: 1. Have done nothing for my ankle/knee/back pain. 2. I work on sealed concrete all day and the grip on these shoes is non-existent.

I slide all over the place. 3. The insole was surprisingly cheap & flimsy. I replaced it with an upgrade. This surprised me in an “orthotic” shoes. Would I recommend these to others? I don’t think so.

If I bought these again it would be 100% for the zero pressure on my toes. As far as I can tell, they’re really just another pair of sneakers.

I purchased these boots as a replacement for my decade-plus-old work boots which finally bit the dust when their sole began separating and coming unglued (used while working as a ranch hand and more recently primarily for snow shoveling).

The Goodyear welt style construction (“recraftable” as Danner calls it) was a major part of the appeal to me for these Danner boots and that they come with a Vibram sole. The craftsmanship seems solid (stitching, lace hooks, sole thickness) and I was easily able to swap in my favorite insoles for the thin, plain, ones they came with.

I have a slightly wide foot and the fit was a little roomy before I swapped my insole, fit feels just right with some of the volume taken up by my insoles. In the past, I’d always treated my leather boots with waterproofing but opted not to with these since they have the built-in GORE-TEX liner.

So far they seem to keep moisture out well (but I haven’t taken them through any puddles, streams, or rain, just snow). The tongue is a bit cumbersome when lacing them up but that’s the tradeoff which comes with it being attached well above ankle height to keep moisture etc.

out AND leaving plenty of room for easy on/off. So, it’s worth it. The one big question mark for me is the leather’s durability. When researching this boot I did see a number of reviews complaining of weak leather/premature wear of the toe.

It’s tough for me to say for sure but it does seem like to leather is softer than I’d like (might be fine and I’m just biased due to the reviews I read). No unnecessary wearing of the leather for me yet though.

So, time will tell on the leather’s quality/durability. Overall, I’m happy with these boots and they seem like a worthwhile purchase. Fingers crossed the toe leather doesn’t end up being a weak point and I’m able to get many years and at least a couple resoles out of them!.

Excellent quality boot, i ordered next size up from my normal size as I wanted them to slip off easily, customer service was very helpful & would highly recommend this company. The only negative would be the length of time taken to process, pack & send parcel.

Jaalattes are so comfortable, soft leather, just like slippers ,well worth spending a bit more on a really nice boot 👍

At 55 I started a second career in the restaurant industry after retiring from a 32-year career as a firefighter. I was concerned about being on my feet for 8 to 10 hour days. I needed a slip-resistant shoe and ordered a pair from another company the restaurant recommended but found Orthofeet by mistake.

When both shoes arrived there was no comparison between the two in support and build quality. The other shoe had good reviews, but many said it was made more comfortable by adding new insoles and it was not waterproof.

By the time I would’ve spent money on insoles I would have been at the same price point as the Dolomites and likely came home with wet feet. I originally ordered a size 12 and they were too small. I normally wear a 12 in dress shoes and work boots and 13 in running shoes, with two different sized feet getting the right size is always a challenge.

Some of my work boots were wide but I don’t normally need a wide shoe. The Dolomites slip resistance, safety toe, support, and overall build quality are impressive so far. There is ample room in the forefoot if you are on the border between regular and wide shoes, the regulars may work for you.

I think a wide would’ve added too much room and not worked for my needs. The only downside is they are a little heavy but not an issue for my work. I’ll be adding a second pair in the near future. As a side note, I also ordered a pair of the Palma’s for my wife who had bunion surgery last year and was having issues making it through shifts as a cashier with continued foot pain.

She now makes it through four shifts a week much more comfortable. 25 years of nursing were tough on her feet and these allow her to continue working part-time when she thought she may have to quit due to foot discomfort.

Like the old VOLVO commercial, “They’re Bulky But Good”. My first thoughts as i observed them upon opening at first glance. It did take me a few days to “ LEARN “ how to fully enjoy them. These are issue for me and my job as I am seriously handicapped by OCD little things sometimes are TOO MUCH.

1, shoe laces were too long and due to my feet swelling and contracting I was always fumbling with them. : Solution shortened laces and purchased “ KIWI” sneaker no-tie laces. Infinitely adjustable without wasting time with shoe laces.

2, Low cut ankle socks don’t work since one shoe kept “EATING “ my sock within 20 mins. In conclusion, they have become one of my favorite ever footwear. The safety toe was tested 2 days after wearing them.

I would have had 2 broken toes had it not been protected. To anyone give the shoes a good try because they are not average and are certainly worth time and effort to adjust them. Thank you, Rhett Jones.

Nice shoe for someone having to do stressful work all day. Theyre a real plus If you have to walk thru shallow water puddles a lot. The walking surface is thick enough to keep you dry at your feet for allot longer than what I used to wear.

If you have aggravation from working in wet socks, these will reduce that aggravation. Laces look they’ll last a good while. Lace eye structure is convenient too. No annoyance from the reinforced toe,.

Top is supple and comfortable. Takes a few days of wearing for the sole inserts to seat properly. Product is up to what advertising claimed.
