20 Best Shoe For Step Aerobics (2023 Updated)

I’m a HS forward, and love the PG’3! I’ll give a short summary of each aspect of the shoe, then give a ranking out of 10. Traction: 10/10 The traction is OUTSTANDING! On any court I played on(after the break in time) the shoe stuck like glue.

It required little wiping, and is almost perfect. Cushion: 9/10 The cushion is great. Takes a while to break in. But once you do, you have a cushion set up that is very bouncy in the fore-foot, has great impact protection and is fairly responsive.

Materials: 7/10 This is the only part of the show that a didn’t really like. The materials definitely get it done on the court, but aren’t very premium or comfortable. Definitely not bad, but not great either.

Support: 9/10 The lacing of this shoe really hugs your ankle, and makes sure it does not move anywhere. And while my ankle felt really secure, I would have loved a slightly bigger outrigger to feel a little safer on hard lateral cuts, although the current width of the base is enough.

Fit: 9/10 I have a pretty average foot width and these fit a little on the snug side, which felt almost perfect. The only part was that the toe box area was a little crowded, but that went away mostly with time.

I am very pleased with this shoe and love playing in them! OVERALL SCORE: 8. 8/10.

For years on buying basketball shoes I wasn’t really into studying the technologies behind these shoes, I just buy them based on which one was on sale. And as a result, I have been bothered by pain in my ankles after hooping and had developed a bad habit on making quick stops, which I had to twist my ankle because of the lack of traction on the shoes.

For the first time I have decided to spend a little more to get a signature shoes, and this PG3 doesn’t disappoint. The shoes feels narrow and hurt a little on the two side on initial wears, but after 7 hours of break in time, it’s feeling very comfortable now.

And more importantly, there is no more pain on my ankles after playing, so the cushioning is very good. As for traction, I can actually feel the zoom air under my forefoot, this helps fix my bad habit slowly.

Because of the good traction, I can now make quick lateral stops using just my forefoot instead of countering the momentum by twisting the ankles. Overall, amazing shoes for the price and performance.

I have worn Kobes for over five years and never had a bad customer experience. This changed with the Kobe A. D. There is nothing bad to say about this shoe except two critical flaws. First, the back-end support is too high, leading to severe Achilles pain.

Second, the shoe is cut in a strange way around the ankles. It starts high from the shoe tongue, reaches its lowest point around the ankles, and then goes back up for the previously mentioned Achilles ‘support’.

This leads to constant friction of the skin around the ankles’ area. I cannot wear this shoe for walking, let alone play basketball, without irritating the skin around my ankles. Wearing high socks does not solve the problem.

I sustained bleeding skin wounds several times trying to play basketball in this shoe. Several players on my team had the same experience. I had to use my old 2014 Kobes to play instead. Very disappointing shoe.

Bought these multi-colored Reeboks for doing T25 and Insanity. They are very stable and there is no slipping on hard flooring. Most of my exercise sneakers are size 7. 5 (which is what I ordered), but I could have gone with the size 7 instead.

The toe box is a bit larger than I would like. kinda baggy if that makes sense, but not a deal breaker. Perhaps the size 7 would have been better. These shoes also provide a “warm up” before your actual work out as they are tough to get on.

I have high arches, so that doesn’t help, but these bad boys take some serious effort to get my feet in. I am contemplating making 2 small cuts to separate the sock liner thing from the tongue. Once on, they are comfortable and supportive.

I have worn them for a few work outs, so I will be keeping them, but do they really need to be this difficult to put on??? Yikes.

I purchased these shoes for kickboxing and cardio classes. They are very well-made, provide significant arch support for hard-hitting workouts and are true to size. They are remarkably scuff resistant which is a wonderful bonus and I appreciate the soft breathable top layer of the shoe.

One of the best benefits this shoe has to offer is strong ankle stability, key for quick side to side lateral movements during cross training. I have always found Reebok tennis shoes to be superior when it comes to daily workouts.

I was looking for a training sneaker but didn’t want to spend the money on those super expensive exercising/weight training sneakers just yet. My foot seems really supported in the heal for weight training.

There is an inner “sock” to the sneaker though and there is no tongue to pull and tighten when you tie your sneakers. I’m not a huge fan of that because i feel like the pulling the tongue and tightening the laces gives for better foot support.

But overall i like the sneaker.

Guys, believe me when I say this, these are literally amazing, I bought these a few months ago because I was in need of some white shoes. First time I put them on I felt like I was floating, these are just so so comfortable, the insole was soft but I went for an extra memory foam one (because I have one in all my shoes) for some extra extra comfort and support.

Believe me when I tell you, they feel amazing, comfortable to walk around for hours on end, and they look REALLY good, and the compliments I’ve received on them don’t do them justice. Not much more to say, an overwhelmingly positive review, loved the trainers, they look amazing and are exceedingly comfortable, even more than Nike air or adidas ultraboost.

If you’re doubting then absolutely go ahead with them, and I recommend finding a discount from UNiDAYS(thank me later) because the total amount I paid for these was like £50. Amazing!.

I’ve bought these shoes in the past and loved the look and feel. I was really disappointed with my experience on this purchase as the product came poorly made and after two wears the white lining on the inside of the shoe came off.

I wish manufactures took more pride in creating a quality product for the price they’re charging. If you’re going to give me a product that falls apart, should be charging so much. Customer service did resolve my issue with a refund but unfortunately I still have a damaged product that I will have to fix if I want to wear.

These look great, and once I broke them in a bit they fit well. But starting out they were quite narrow. I have very wide flat feet though so mileage may vary. Love the style, the classic h bar and blue accents are perfect as my first pair of all white sneakers.

Bottom line, go try in store if you have wide feet to make sure you get the right fit. But I got away with loosening them up a ton and now they fit snug but good.

I’ve always just used my running shoes as gym shoes, but I can totally feel the difference with these studio shoes! Lateral movements, weightlifting, and stability are amazing with the Latus. I love white shoes – these caught my eye plus have a little “pop” to them.

So comfortable while being sturdy, but not stiff. My normal size is 5. 5-6, I got these in a 5. 5 & they’re perfect; I wear with thin form-fitting workout/running socks (Feetures, lululemon, smartwool).

It’s a cute looking shoe. However I have some issue with sizing and support. The shoe run very tight across the top of the foot. My feet have gone numb when wearing them for an extended period of time (1+ hours).

The shoe also does not have any support in the arch causing probation. I really wanted to like these shoes, but I won’t be able to use them even as a casual shoe.

I bought these for the gym and have found them super stable for leg resistance band work, balance work, and weights. I also love that the soles are so stable which makes them great for outdoor biking on my flat pedals! Fairly comfy for regular walking around / running errands all say but I still prefer my cushier running shoes for that.

I am a size 7, usually get 7. 5 in running shoes, but 7 was perfect for these.

These hold my feet perfectly in place. Was a little disappointed that I received damaged shoes (the swoosh was chipped on the left foot) but I tried them on and knew they were perfect for my lifting and cross training I’ve been doing and didn’t want to go through refunding and having to wait again.

I saw a lot of people stated that purchasing a half size up was necessary, but I wear size 12 and there were no 12. 5’s available. These feel slightly snug, but not in an uncomfortable way. I just know I’m not going to kick them off my feet and I’m sure over time they will be broken into the perfect fit.

They look great! I really hope the upper section doesn’t yellow, but I’m prepared for that based on reviews and decided it was still worth the purchase.

I literally never leave reviews on products, but I loved these shoes sooo much after wearing only ONE time that I had to. I have been working out in old, beat up shoes that I’ve had for years, and recently decided it was time to get some new ones.

I do a lot of HIIT circuit training as well as moderate weight lifting, so I wanted something light but with a lot of good heel support (especially for squats). These shoes are amazing. They are exactly what I was looking for.

They are SO comfy, definitely the most comfy Nike shoes I’ve ever bought (and trust me, this is the only brand I ever buy athletic shoes from). They are lightweight, but have a sturdy heel. I did squats, lunges, split jumps, etc.

and had plenty of support. They also had a flexible bend to them for doing planks and mountain climbers. I cannot say enough good things about this shoe. 10/10! After wearing them for literally one workout I immediately thought these were the best shoes I’ve ever purchased from Nike.

I usually wear 10, but I got a 10. 5 in these based on other reviews, and they are perfect. I will definitely be buying another pair if they come out with new colors.

I love these for lifting!! I cant wear converse cuz I do have a wider foot but these are just as flat and supportive and I can feel SO stable. These are my second pair after my old ones were destroyed after 5 years of intense HIIT exercises on turf.

Love love love. I don’t even need a new pair but I want more!! I used these for both weightlifting where flat floor connection is essential (deadlifts, squats) and theyre flexible enough to not worry about my shoes creasing for bear crawls and burpees.

I was really excited to see this shoe. I have a strong preference for Studio shoes with a high ankle cut, boot style and there are very few brands supplying this type of shoe in Australia. So great work for doing so.

However the opening of the shoe was too small and did not expand enough for me to get my foot into. The shoe looked great, felt sturdy but because I couldn’t I couldn’t get my foot into it, I can’t comment on the fit.

It really needed some sort of elastic insert at the sides of the ankle that would allow some additional expansion. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

I love these sneakers! They’re super comfortable, but secure. I’ve seen a couple of reviews saying that they don’t like them because they’re hard to put on, but I don’t really mind that. They are hard to put on because there isn’t much stretch and the opening is quite solid, but that’s one of the things I love – that means that they can’t be taken off easily too! (which has happened a few times with other sneakers with my personal trainer at the gym).

I also feel like there is a little extra space in the front, not too much, just enough so the toes have room to move and breathe.

I like these shoes for teaching Zumba. I have some issues with my flat feet and plantar fasciitis. these shoes work for me and provide support and do not worsen my condition. I wish these shoes came in more colors.

The band isremovable on split sole, but I like to have it on. I have never had split sole shoes before, I was pleased with this style and performance.

Like the feel of this shoe and the color combination. The laces are elastic which is unusual for me, and I have to think about tying them out of fear of the laces breaking.

Love this shoe, the color and style are perfection!

This is a good looking, stable training shoe. I have wide feet and am glad that my toes have room to spread out. It took a few days at the gym to stretch them out, but no blisters or soreness. I had gotten these in dark green but they just didn’t pop as much as these, now I feel supported and stylish! I do a 1-mile warm up run on the treadmill before lifting, and I was worried that this training shoe would be too stiff.

It took some time getting used to the high arch, does get a bit hot, but is tolerable. Would not run longer than a mile in these as it feels like you’re running in converse or vans sneakers. I would also not wear these as casual shoes for the day.

But great support while lifting I am super glad I spent a bit more money in these. I hope they are durable and last me a while.

I bought these because I was having tendinitis issues in my ankle jumping rope. These have been great for that so far, and feel very supportive all over. They’ve also been perfect for the body weight exercises I do along with jumping.

One small issue is that the shoe comes up pretty high alongside the tongue, and that was a bit uncomfortable at first, especially the day I got them and wore them around to break them in. It’s only a minor issue after a week of wear, and I don’t notice it when I’m moving a bunch.

These definitely run small—I typically wear a 7. 5 in running shoes and most other shoes, occasionally sizing up to an 8. I got these in a 7 and they’re perfect. Overall, a great, supportive shoe for jumping and weight exercise.

While I was an owner of two pairs of Nano 9s and I love them. Used to alternate between the pairs and they still are in great condition even after over 12 months of sessions. My new Nano X I have had for just over a month and the Reebok logos are already peeling off.

Reached out to Reebok and they have said that nothing can be done unless they are in original condition. Which they are can’t be after month of sessions. While the shoes are great for my workout the quality of the shoes is not reflective of the price you pay.

They also don’t live up to the previous Nano build quality.

I recently bought a pair of Vibram Five Fingers toe shoes in the “Classic” men’s style (low cut slip-ons in black nylon with yellow trim). I’m wearing them almost daily now both as casual shoes and house slippers.

Wow – these things are awesome! Besides their incredibly cool toe shoe style, which was the main trigger for my purchase, they’re extremely well made and just comfortable as can be. The fit is spot-on and I really love their flexibility and slipper-like feel.

I have been running in Fivefingers for 15 years. I hav become increasing frustrated as they have become more and more engineered. I really just need something to protect the bottom of my feet and toes.

I tried the V-soul, thinking it would be perfect for my needs. It was. Everything I wanted, nothing I didn’t. But the sole was so thin I wore through it in a month. I thought I would give this model a try.

One word: blisters. On my arches, heels, toes. The heel is so high amd firm. It pushes into the Achilles. There is an actual arch with a seam running down the length of it. Why? Fivefingers shouldn’t have arches.

Naturalness is supposed to be the name of the game.

Primarily use for walking and jogging. Originally ordered an exact size but after 10-15 years of wearing it, my toes finally lengthen and less of a hammered toe which meant it was time to size up by one size.

Its about 0. 5-1 cm by sizing up. I love the individual toe feeling and non-chafing like traditional shoes. Past usage was for hiking which is pleasant too; just be mindful of anything sharp. Cycling use is doable, depending on the pedal type; I used a trail type for both bicycle and unicycles.

EL-X tread type works beat with flat pedals. Not recommended for sand use unless you don’t mind sand particulates stuck in all the crevices forever.

Two weeks in, the G 300s seem like a great replacement for my old F Lite G 290s, which were by far the best training shoe I’ve ever used. If these can last for the two years of daily gym/trail running use that the G 290s endured, they will definitely be worth 5*s for value.

The G 300s are more cushioned than the 290s, but still give you the firmness in the heel that you need for heavy lifting, while the cushion seems to give you a bit of extra bounce for skipping or box jumps.

I’ve used them for a range of crossfit workouts, and they’ve handled absolutely everything with ease. My only minor complaint is that these run a little larger than every other pair of Inov-8s I’ve had over the past decade, so my size 43s are a little too long and I’ve noticed a touch of lateral slippage when doing things like overhead farmer’s carries.

It’s not Inov-8’s fault, I guess, and if I were in the UK with easy returns I would have downsized to 42. 5 and probably had a totally perfect fit. But paying for overseas shipping to make them a tiny bit smaller wasn’t worth it for me.

In terms of quality, I gave 4* only because the big side seam on the left shoe seems to have a little fraying to the stitching, and given that I’ve had some issues in the past with seams coming undone (none with the 290s, which were built incredibly well), I’m a little wary of how the seams on the G 300s will hold up, especially on rope climbs or trail runs through brush.

I’m hoping this is just paranoia on my part, though.

I was going to leave a positive review for these because I’m so pleased with them, even without the incentive of the chance to win £100. Without doubt the best gym trainers I’ve ever owned. I’ve always used cheaper running shoes as gym shoes in the past.

These feel much more at home in the gym for resistence and studio work. They are very light but very supportive and supple. The difference from runners is really apparent in squats, where the sole feels much more in contact with the ground.

Also look good, in my view, as a casual shoe. Four stars for vfm because they’re not cheap but I got mine a sale so really five stars all round for me.

I came to these after using my Reebok Nano X for less than a year with the bottoms physically flopping around separating from the main shoe bed. I ended up gorilla glue-ing those to get them to work.

In other words my last reebok shoe. Anyways enough about that shoe, and back to this one. I can already tell the quality is just all around better, I bought the bare xf-210s to combo with these for a more minimalist feel, these are my all-arounders.

With a tight shoe-tie these were stretchy in the tongue enough to easily get my foot in and be secure. The stretchy loop there helps as well. These look super sharp in my mostly black setup–I’m pretty rough on shoes and prone to scuffing so black is for me.

I like the shiny features on the side and the neat look of the inov8 logo. The grip is just right combined with the meta-flex toe-bed; push-ups were no problem with these as compared to my last shoes that were.

These were nice to run in while being a middle of the pack minimalist, and felt great for box jumps, the fit is just right for me and not busting at the seams for the toe-bed which makes for a comfortable shoe.

Overall if you are looking for the best all around gym shoe, this is it!.

These shoes are great for everyday wear! Working from home now I spend most days in casual clothes so I can go back and forth between the desk, household chores and errands. I love how these shoes fit right into the comfort I look for, but are also sleek enough to look put together.

The simple two-toned color scheme is easy to match with almost any outfit. The fit of these shoes is tight at first – so much so I thought I needed a half size larger. However, after wearing for only a few hours playing with my toddler they broke right in and now they are perfect.

Definitely not too narrow and just the right size. I’ve worn them all day with no comfort issues. The initial tightness was also the only thing that needed breaking in. I often find I get blisters with new shoes but not these! My favorite thing about this pair of shoes is how comfortable they are.

I love that I can slip them easily and get going. I’ve also found these clean pretty easily. We have had quite a bit of rain recently which means lots of mud. Just a quick rinse under the sink got the soles looming brand new again.

Overall a great shoe – would recommend!.

These shoes are perfect for what I needed. I do lots of HIIT and running workouts as while as strength training and LISS. These shoes work for all of those! I love the color and style, and my foot feels stable and secure in the shoe! However, there was some glue right where the Nike logo met the base and some other glue spots on the black box near the arch.

This was slightly disappointing but the pros outweighed the cons of going through a tedious return process over something so small. Overall I was happy with this product and Nike has again delivered the quality that they promise.

Comfortable sneakers for the gym. I usually wear a 7. 5 in sneakers & these run true to that size. They are comfortably cushioned. I really dislike the way they lace up because it is difficult to both tighten & loosen the laces.

I don’t know why anyone would think this lace design is a good idea. For the money, I prefer the Nike In-Season TR 9 Women’s Training Shoes. The souls of those shoes are softer compared to these shoes and the cushioning is just as good, if not better.

I will continue to wear these shoes until they are no longer useful, but I will not buy them again.

I swear. this training shoe is perfect. I needed to buy a new pair of gym shoes badly, because the 3. 5-year-old training shoes I owned had me slipping on the hardwood floor of my home if I tried to hold an almost side split, and the laces couldn’t keep the shoe snug and tight during workouts.

Consequently, my ankle would feel unsupported. These, however, truly went on and stayed on like a glove. Of course, as Nike shoes seem to do, they run small. I’m normally an 8 (leaning towards wide) in other shoes, but for Nike, I get 8.

5! The width was perfect. I can really feel the wideness and stability of the heel, as well as the cushion for the balls of my feet. Just now, I did a HIIT workout, and I felt complete support. Don’t hesitate to buy these shoes!.

Love these shoes. The TRs are my favorite Nikes to wear. I bought them in black & white and also a pair in grey. One pair for just casual everyday wear and another is perfect for a workout session. Comfortable, looks good on feet, and seems durable so far.

Been wearing one pair for a few months and holding up great. These fit true to size for me and a perfect fit, but my foot is narrow.

I have shoes for lifting. The Metcon 4 is the best shoe for strength training Ive ever owned. I own 4 pairs. You’ll never feel more planted in a squat or DL than with the Metcon 4. I also have a running shoe, the Pegasus 35.

So much cushioning, but its a running shoe so didnt expect any less. Great shoe for running. This shoe folks–is functional for BOTH. Now that I am working out from home, running is an excuse for me to get out and get some outside time.

I run up to 3 miles in these shoes and they are comfortable for me. I am right over 200lbs, and after 3 miles, this shoes dont create any kind of discomfort in the knees, hips or other typical areas you feel discomfort after running.

With lifting, I also feel secure and planted, not as much as the Metcon 4 but still, the point is this is a great cross trainer. You can run/job (though not sure about long distances) and you can do your strength training and feel good in this shoe.

As I wear a size 12, when I find good shoes I buy them up. These are great shoes. Cant recommend them enough.

These are my new favorite shoes. They have a nice amount of room in the toe box, and have the perfect amount of support. I have high arches that feel completely supported in these shoes, quite different from my normal trainers.

There is enough support to keep my knees from collapsing during squats, but not too much to make more dynamic lifts mushy (think thrusters). I have only used the mid insole, and find for regular CrossFit style workouts and heavy lifting, they are perfect.

I feel very connected to the floor with deadlifts, which surprised me with the nice amount of cushion. Read the reviews about people sizing up, but they fit me perfectly after one wear. (They were a little tight when I first put them on but they quickly loosened up.

) I need to get more ;).

I use to be all in for Reebok Nanos but their last two models have been terrible. I purchased Nobulls and was even more disappointed. They had zero arch support and my feet were always aching when I wore them.

I decided to branch out and try a shoe that wasn’t as widely known. I am extremely pleased with the Hylete shoe. It is the best training shoe I have ever worn. Very comfortable in the toe box and just the right cushioning in just the right place.

The three different inserts are brilliant! I love being able to quickly switch out the insert to match the WOD. You will not regret buying these shoes! I love Hylete merchandise and have been telling all my CrossFit friends about them.

Runs small so size up a minimum of a half size. The bottom is fairly stiff so these are great for stationary exercises where you want balance and stability. I wouldn’t recommend for cardio – but then again maybe if I had the right size, it wouldn’t my feet as bad.

I have high arches and have been using the middle insole. I do boot camps so my exercises include wide range motion and activity. I don’t love these shoes for long walks. These are good shoes, just not my favorite for the kind of activities I do most often.

I have to give these shoes five stars for their excellent performance and comfortable wear! First of all I’d like to start by mentioning that I switch from ASICS to Nike and these shoes are the culprit! I bought these shoes for the gym as I do HITT and weight lifting 5x a week and these shoes did not disappoint! Usually my feet swell and are pretty beat up after a hard workout but with these shoes that problem went away, I’m able to do more without feeling tired.

I usually change shoes when I come home from the gym but these are so comfortable that I forget to switch into my casual everyday shoes! I’m going to be ordering a second pair just to wear outside the gym when I’m running errands! That’s how comfortable these shoes are, they hug my feet in just the right places without making them feel tired or overly tight.

I needed a good pair of shoes for boot camp and circuit training that also includes short runs. Nothing I have put on my feet to this point have worked. I bought these just kind of hoping they would work.

These are the best shoes I have ever owned for this purpose. They are light. They have enough padding so when I jump I don’t feel it in my feet. They work for my shorts run as well. I also have been getting compliments on them which isn’t essential but it’s nice to hear.

I love these shoes. Very lightweight and comfortable to walk in. One shoe is narrower than the other though but I didn’t notice until after I wore them for a day. Now it is very apparent. I would have sent them back for a different pair if I could but threw away the box.

They are very stretchy so I will still wear them as they are great. Love the color too!.

If you are within retirement age, but not well past, these could be a great choice. They are subtle, yet a bit flashy, and fun! They fill the niche between sneakers and casual shoes. Great for all of us ex-hippies! I wear an 8 1/2 wide, bought the 9 wide to wear with thick winter socks, and they are fine, because of their great flexibility in wrapping around my weird feet-wide width, narrow heel, and rakish arches.

I recently brought these snickers. I have only worn them in the house. The comfort and fix are amazing. The fit was just right. I highly recommend these snickers to wear with casual or formal attire.

I can’t say enough good things about this shoe! I have purchased Every color & 2 pair in black! The first time I wore them I couldn’t wear ankle socks because it rubbed back of ankle but after that they are most comfortable! Love Love Them!!!.

Needed a pair of shoes that would be functional for heavy weight lifting and bodyweight/cardio training. I highly recommend these if that is what your training covers. Great foot support, light weight too.

Great for deadlifts/squats for keeping feet flat and driving with the whole foot.

Well i bought the shoe and it came pretty quick. it came in a huge box that was 4x the size. and upon opening the box, there was still the magnetic tab on the shoe, I have to bend and pry and brake it off cause there was no way I was shipping it back in the same box.

Other than them forgetting to take the magnetic alarm thing off. the shoe has been good.

I love my new amazing shoes. I got them for a fantastic price. I use these shoes for lifting, rowing, and the stair stepper. I would not recommend them for running.

I ordered these GOwalk Sneakers a few weeks ago when they were first offered for sale. Today I took a 3+ mile walk in these shoes,and they were comfy, comfy, and even more comfy. I didn’t want to write a review until I actually got to wear them for a long walk.

I ordered my regular size 7 1/2 medium and the fit was perfect. Today was a slightly cool and windy day, so I even wore a pair of thin thin socks. I ordered the black and expect to get lots of use from them.

I will probably order another color, probably navy when my size becomes available again. That is how comfy they are to wear. I have lots of skechers and most of them are pretty comfortable, but these are my new favorites to wear for long walks.

I love these Skechers!!! I have the 8 wide and the fit is perfect. These are extremely lightweight, very cushiony and I love the red color. I also purchased the pink. The colors are vibrant. The sneakers are very attractive on the foot.

This is my 10th pair of Skechers and this is the only brand I will wear. I will only purchase from QVC. Please think about different colors like pale yellow and vibrant orange in the wide sizes as well.

They wash up perfectly in cold water and I just put a towel in with them so they aren’t bumping around in the washer and then when done I set them on top of the washer to dry and believe me, within a day they are totally dry.

They come out perfect every time. The GoWalk Skechers are my favorite. Please try them. I highly recommend. By the way, I am 68 years old.

These shoes have a hiking tread, meaning they are heavier than most skecher shoes. They also have leather uppers, so they are the supper stretchy artificial material that most skecher shoes have. That is fine in these instances.

The materials seem to be good quality and are true to size. The black color looks good with casual dark pants as well as jeans. I tested the material under the water faucet and the water just beads off as water resistant shoes should.

Living in the Seattle region water resistant shoes are important. They soles did squeak for a brief time when walking on linoleum floors after coming in from the rain. I do wish that shoe manufactures would stop including ‘waterproof/water resistant’ labels on the outside of the shoe.

As a purchaser i don’t need to constantly be reminded of the feature; having the info on the inside of the shoe, is enough and the label detracts from the clean design of the shoe (i was able to cut the cloth label of in this instance).

I really like that the Skechers ‘S’ logo is relatively small on the shoe compared to most of their products and is not noticeable (I don’t like being a walking billboard for clothing manufactures).

Honestly, my review might be a bit colored, but I think it’s safe to say these shoes have only helped in what I would call a complete transformation in my running experience. Recently felt obligated to start running for several reasons, but I’ve always been borderline resentful of the practice because of pretty severe shin splints that always develop over time.

This time however it was suggested to me that I consciously pull my feet out every time I take a step (I’ve got a pretty sever pigeon toe to my gate when I jog or run naturally. ) So I did that and it was definitely better on my legs the next day, and since I was willing to keep running, I got new shoes.

Specifically, these new shoes. I’m a 33 year old man, and almost overnight my running obligation has transformed into something I might even go so far to say is now a release. I’ve been running every other day without fail for over a month now.

Minimum distance is 4 miles and most days I’ve been 5 or more. Heck, I’ve even run a few 10Ks! I think the best compliment I can give a pair of shoes is that I’ve not noticed any issues – no blisters, no sore spots on my feet, etc.

Sorry for the rambling review, but I hope this helps someone else making a choice who is having similar issues trying to figure out what to do!.

I’ve worn the 13th and 15th updates of these shoes, and loved them both. I decided to go ahead and order a pair of the 16s. This update doesn’t have nearly the amount of arch support that the previous models had.

My arches haven’t been a problem for me in 13 years of running and I’ve never noticed my arches before running in this shoe. At the end of 5 miles in these shoes, my arches actually ache. I don’t know what you did to the mid-foot of this shoe, but it doesn’t work for me.

This version also feels clunky, less cushioned, heavy, and un-responsive compared to the previous model, especially in the heel area. I bought half a size up, as I’ve had to do with the last few Inspire updates, and the sizing is consistent with the previous model.

I run roughly 42 miles a week, and I’ve been using the previous versions of the Inspire for my long runs, but I won’t run any further than 6 in these, and I can’t use them for speed workouts the way I could the previous versions.

Generally, this is an inferior and uncomfortable update. Please undo the changes you’ve made, they’ve made this a very undesirable product.

I use this shoe for daily workouts and three miles runs. Initially I was underwhelmed with the feel of the shoe. They were stiff, the cushioning felt unsupportive, and the upper kept rubbing against my ankle which seemed odd.

However, after a day or two of normal wear they fell much better, no more stiffness, the cushion feels much more supportive, and no more rubbing my ankle. Pros: I purchased these because of reviews promoting heel support while running.

Having had issues in the past of heel strain this shoe has not given me any trouble. These are very light weight, and breath well, making runs less burdensome. The wider sole at the forefoot provides excellent stability during weight training.

Cons: The initial fit and feel is underwhelming, and can take a few days before they feel normal/broken in. The materials used for the upper and the midsole look cheap.

I bought two pairs of these trainers and have worn both pairs over the past couple of weeks. One pair rubbed my little toes initially, while the other pair were comfortable straight off. However, one of that latter pair has now developed an annoying and embarrassing squeak.

So good shoes, generally comfortable, but will be better if I can get rid of the squeaking.

I’m old with increasingly difficult fitting issues. Bought 4E Defy because Revolution 5 13 4E were a perfect fit for my sore feet. The Defy fit was no where near that found in the Revolution 5. Length was too long and less room in toe box meant cramped toes.

Thought same exact size from differing named shoes from Nike would yield samefit. It did not so had to return the 13 4E Defy shoes.

Bought my first pair of these trainers and within a day or 2 the rim around the edges went all white and squeak of them was just awful!!! Brought them back to the shop and with a fight, I got them exchanged for another pair the same and within the week of wearing them the squeak started again!!! Totally disappointed!!!! Was always a Nike fan but this has put off from buying Nike trainers again!.

I really wanted to love this shoe. When you feel the shoes in your hand you can just tell they are built to last. The stitching looked very durable. The heal was thick and padded. The overall material felt and looked amazing.

However, the sizes didn’t match with what I wear in my running shoes. The first order I tried my toes hit the front. I returned those and went up in size. The next size I felt the same thing. Then I realized it was the top of the shoe covering the toe for protection that was pushing down on my toes nails crushing them.

I wore them for only 30 minutes thinking the fabric might loosen up, but with each step and bend of the toe it just kept pushing down on my toe nails. I took them off and instant relief. Who knows maybe if I threw a tennis ball or something to give flex to the top of the toe box it would have worked? But, I don’t want to have to wait to do that.

Overall, the 3 insoles felt great and the toe box is wide like my Altra and Topo. They fit better than Reebok and Nike except for the toe.

Bought 2 pairs for myself and a pair for my 18 yr old son. I loved them at first but then after only one month (of indoor wear only) the inside of my shoe was tearing. Otherwise they look brand new! My son wore his twice and his mesh is already torn! I’m a HUGE Hylete fan but these shoes will not hold up! I compared the quality to my 3 yr old trainers and there is no damage even close to this.

I’m a fit pro and I love to promote quality. I’m so disappointed bc I had such high hopes! I have an unworn pair with tags on that I can’t return bc “flash sale”. I hope quality control fixes this.

When they came out of the box, I thought they maybe fit a little tight— that turned out to be a good thing. I walked to the gym in them and put in a hard workout involving deadlifts, squats, speed rope, and lateral movements.

They broke in perfectly and I can say these are the best workout shoes I’ve had. They hit the sweet spot of support and flexibility that is so hard to find. I’ve wasted a lot of time on shoes that just weren’t right, and maybe contributed to injuries.

No such concern here. Killer product from an independent company.
