20 Best Shoe For Everyday Use (2023 Updated)

I have bought 3-4 pair of these and do not recommend them. First pair were ok and he described them as comfortable so my husband wanted a second pair. Because of the color we bought they got dirty quickly so its hard to say how long first pair would have held up.

Second pair didn’t last more than probably 3 months before air bubble area popped on one shoe. At that point we were 50% on these shoes that are 150. 00 a pair. My middle school kid begged for a pair to start this school year.

It’s only November and there is a hole in the top of the shoe around where the big toe would be. The fabric is ripping away from where the fabric meets the sole of the shoe. Guys. these are 150. 00 shoes.

They should last longer than 3 months with normal use. And you guessed it. they are out of the return date for Dick’s to have to take back and I contacted Nike and guess what. they claim there is nothing they can do for me.

So, I got 3 months out of a 150. 00 shoe when normally my kids school shoes last the entire school year, unless their foot grows. How convenient for a shoe to make it out of the warranty stage but not much longer.

Very disappointed in Nike quality compared to price and the struggle to make them accountable for their product. You can find a much cheaper shoe that will hold up that long. Do not recommend. However, if you need to hear something positive, both my husband and son said these shoes were comfortable on their feet.

My son begged me for these last year for back to school sneakers. Against my better judgment I spent $160 on these. About 2 weeks later they had 2 holes in the fabric. I’m more than disgusted with the delicate nature of these decently expensive Nikes.

They continued to develop more homes in them. I did fill out a Nike warranty form but heard nothing back. This doesn’t hold well for Nike’s commitment to their products. My son is 16, so maybe these would be better for someone who babies their shoes.

He does have lots of Nike’s that have held up fine. Given my experience I would NOT recommend these shoes.

I have read most of these review on the Air Max 270 sneaker, and these reviews are terrible. I don’t want to hear where you are going to wear the shoe, I want to hear if the shoe is comfortable, whether the shoe runs small or big, what your shoe size is and if you had to size up or down.

So I will give my review on the Air Max 270. Now, I have this shoe in a women’s size 7, because that is my size in women’s shoes, and I can tell you that it does fit a little tight, especially on the top of the foot, but it does stretch out a little, when you wear it all day.

I would love to buy this shoe in big sizes, but Im not sure what size to get. Because I’m a 7 in women’s, I can wear a big kids size 5. 5, but sometimes big kids sneakers run big. I wish a woman would write a review that ordered this shoe for themselves, and describe how it fits.

Ordered the vegan 11. 5 and they were too big – sent them back no problem. Ordered the black/silver 11’s – too small in length, returned to the store and tried the 11 wide in black, fit great! Went home an ordered 11 wide in black/silver and a pair of More v3 in silver/white – I have the More v3 in black/white size 11 that I use for work so I wanted a pair for home and running.

The More v3 arrived first and they’re too short! I think the sizing is in consistent cuz my black/white More v3’s fit great, especially in the toe box. Then I got the black/silver 990 v5’s. Again, the sizing seems inconsistent.

The all black pair I tried in the store fit like a glove, but these are a bit long in length, but not enough to send back. They actually feel real comfortable Solid construction, quality materials, real nice foot bed.

The tongue tho, it slips toward the front of the shoe with walking. I managed to rig it by using the the 2nd to last shoe lace hole to pull the tongue up so that it stays in place. Thankfully the laces are extra long so that this is possible.

Overall I’m stoked. I expect these shoes to last a long time – definitely an everyday shoe. And New Balance has been great. I’ve ordered and returned several pairs of shoes in the process and had no issues.

I got these shoes for walking my dog four-to-five miles seven days and to wear to my part-time job 3-to-4 hours a day four days a week. They are adequate and no more than that but it would be unfair of me not to qualify why I say that.

I suffered nerve damage from a series of backpacking trips carrying too much weight five years ago that have left me with a certain degree of numbness in my feet. These shoes are an improvement over my older Vasque hiking shoes that were wearing out, particularly with regard to the degree of cushion they provide.

Where they fall down is in the degree of support. When I first got these I hesitated and nearly returned them but decided to give them a chance. I have wound up getting another pair of sturdier walking shoes from another American retailer to use more regularly than these and will use these for lighter duty.

They’re decent shoes but if you’re 68 years old fighting numbness like me they may not be the ones you need. I know this review doesn’t apply to everybody which is why I wrote it the way I did. At the same time I suspect it does apply to some people.

I bought these “Run Lucky” edition of the Ghost 14 running shoe. The look of these were what sold them to me. I’ve just switched over from another popular manufacturer and so far, have nothing but positive feedback for these.

My wife runs (a lot more than I do!) and has only used Brooks for the past number of years, covering well in excess of 1000km/year. All her Brooks shoes last a long time, so I have similar high expectations of the Ghost.

Purchasing from Start Fitness was quick and easy. I missed out on a 10% discount by a number of hours (tried to buy them in the early hours of the morning on 1st September and the code ran out at midnight, at the end of August!).

That aside, the postage was quick and stress-free. I would purchase from Start Fitness again, and I will purchase Brooks again.

If you’ve ordered New Balance shoes before, these will be true to size. If this is your first pair of New Balance, they run a half size small. I wear a 6. 5 normally, but in New Balance shoes I always wear a size 7.

I’ve purchased three different styles/pairs of New Balance Shoes this year, and with all of them I got a size 7, and they were perfect. That being said, these shoes are only cute casual shoes. To me they have a relaxed fit that wouldn’t work for anything physical.

Definitely not a running, walking, or “on your feet all day” shoe. They are just cute, not functional. They are comfortable but offer no real support, arch or cushion. I still totally love them because I had zero expectations and just wanted a pair of casual athetlic shoes.

Shoes for the person that wants you to think that they might exercise, but they don’t. They are made cheap and will not last, so make sure you get a good deal. If you pull too hard on the loop to put them on, they will make an unpleasant sound, alerting you that they will rip.

The laces will not make the shoes tighter, but they will make the tongue bunch up. And last but not least, the heel is not comfortable against your skin without ankle socks. I would not recommend no show socks with these.

Not happy. New Balance should know this material is not right for footwear. I have been wearing these for 2-3 weeks, comfortable, yes, but two problems: 1. working out they easily slip off the heels doing certain exercises like down dog, mountain climbers or plank jacks.

Mostly unhappy with how dirty the get. The light material is not protected. After washing them in the machine the insoles came out, they are sticky and hard to put back. Shoes did not come clean after washing.

I am not a mechanic working in grease! I go to the gym and water plants in yard. DSW won’t take them back after wearing them. The shoes are USELESS to me now. Tortise and Hare lets you return worn shoes up to 60 days if not happy for any reason.

If this company does not protect customers from defective products then I won’t shop there anymore.

I love these sneakers!! I wear a 9 in almost every shoe I buy (and I’m an avid new balance wearer) but in these I found I needed half a size larger to compensate for my wide feet. I just bought my second pair after about a year w the first ones.

They’re very comfortable but also really cute and fashionable!! I will warn you, the first one, maybe two times you wear them they may rub the back of the Achilles! My first pair did on both heels and I almost returned them when I realized that.

But I wore them out of the house to give it a chance and after two days they broke in and it was never an issue again. Now with the new pair I recently bought only the left side rubbed and it was only for the first day I wore them.

If they’re still selling this shoe when I need a new pair again next year I will certainly repurchase a third pair!.

After wearing my 1st pair of Nike Air Uptempos for a few weeks I’d love to share my thoughts! The air tempo is a favorite among kids & ball players alike. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a pair of the coveted (Scottie Pippens as I grew up calling them) shoe & upon receiving my 1st pair, my general thought was the shoes very bulky & will be hard to wear on a regular basis.

The weight of the shoe was also something I couldn’t get past after first trying the pair on feet. I know this is a basketball shoe & for myself, basketball is a game of athleticism & endurance & wearning a shoe this heavy, could be a hinderance to both.

The air written on the side is a huge eye soar, something I wouldn’t normally choose for myself, but I’m a fan of nostalgia and wanted to see just what makes this shoe so coveted. The good! This shoes very well put together! From a quality standpoint, I believe it will be very difficult to find a shoe that will last longer than the Nike air uptempo.

I wore the shoe to the gym 5 days a week for 2 weeks & on a brisk 5k walk 3x each week & the shoes durability is not in question. It seems that Nikes perfected the formula to keep shoes together longer over the past 50 years & this shoe reaches that standard.

If you have an active kid who’s really hard on shoes, this is definitely a shoe you would want to consider. Luckily my son (seven) & I wear the same size so he too wore the shoe around the house on several occasions & he was a huge fan of not only the look, but also the comfort of the shoe.

Prior to this shoe, his largest complaint with Nike shoes was always the time it took to break the shoe in. This shoe seemed made wider than most & that added another level of comfort that can’t be understated.

I too, shared the same sentiment. I loved the way the shoe felt straight out of the box. There was no break in period and for that this will be a shoe I go to for him n the future. In review the Nike air uptempos a very straight forward basketball shoe, somewhat outdated & hard to wear for adults on a regular basis but an excellent shoe for childrens everyday wear.

Very comfortable After u get past the weight & bulky appearance, this shoes Durablity scores a 10 & something I have no doubt will last the entire school year!.

Nike React Infinity Run Flyknit Shoes Review The Nike react infinity run flyknit shoes are made for road running as well as work well for everyday use. They also work well in the trails although I would recommend running spikes if you run the trails a lot.

They come in variety of different colors and sizes with a very comfortable fit. They are by far the best running shoes I have ever used, and their shape and design improved my running form almost immediately.

The Nike react infinity run flyknit shoes have a lightweight fit with a stable feel. They have a more durable design with a flexible fit. Their higher foam sole gives for a softer feel while their wider base provides more stability.

They feature three main layers keep your feet secure while you’re running as well is designed to reduce injury to keep you on the run. The shape of the midsole helps the phases of a runner’s stride and creates flexibility at the toe which helps propel you forward.

The midstance provides for a cushioning at contact for a smoother run and it almost feels like you’re running or walking on cushion. When I run in the Nike infinity run flyknit shoes I just feel faster.

The soles design propels you forward and gives your bounce in your step. The curved sole helps you strike the ground on your toes which improves your stride and by landing on your toes you have a lesser chance of injury.

A faster tempo is guaranteed with running in them. Their vaporfly like rocker sole shape merges takeoff and landing into a smoother transition. This causes very little energy to be lost in stride so your legs will feel fresher longer throughout your run.

They have a sleek design that is comfortable for running but also for everyday use. They have a soft feel for walking or just chilling with your friends although the price is a little hefty if you’re only looking for shoes for everyday use.

They have a titer fit so if you are looking for slip on shoes, I would not recommend them although this does provide for a very comfortable fit for everyday use and running. If you are not particularly a runner but need athletic shoes these will be perfect.

Their easy to carry around and the lightweight fit is good for warming up for your game or just going to the gym. They do cost around $160 dollars although they are worth it. After wearing these shoes, I would highly recommend them especially to runners.

If you need a shoe that will give you a bounce in your step with a comfortable feel the Nike react infinity run flyknit shoes are the shoes for you. There durable design will last you for a long time however you wear them, running or just hanging out.

There price may be on the higher end at $160 but the Nike react infinity run flyknit shoes are worth it. If you need a new pair of kicks, I would highly recommend checking them out.

I have always loved the design of the Uptempo’s since I can remember. I had the chicago pair many years back (2000-ish) and wore it til the soles separated. Since then, I wanted a new pair. This is my first pair since then and the feeling still remains the same.

The build is still amazing. The big “AIR” logo covering that wraps around the medial and lateral sides of the shoes are timeless and beautiful to look at. The comfort to me is still one of the best even with all these new technology they add to the new basketball shoes.

The traction is amazing for playing basketball (as it should be) and as a lifestyle shoe, these shoes can be worn all day without feeling any discomfort. The upper material is soft but sturdy so you know it won’t easily wear.

The midsole with its iconic bubbles are still as bouncy as I remember and gives a very nice cushy feeling. The only issue if you can consider it an issue is the weight of the shoe. This is a classic, bulky basketball shoe of the 90’s and just like the Barkley’s, Jordan’s, JKidd’s, and the other Uptempo’s of the time, it is larger and heavier than the basketball shoes of today.

Sizing wise, these shoes fit me true to size and can even be a little big since there is just so much room and ability to loosen or tighten. I recommend going true to size or half size down if you have narrow feet.

Overall, these shoes are still one of my all time favorite basketball shoes created and Pippen’s all time greatest looking shoes. I just need to get the Chicago colorway again.

This is a great sneaker which offers a very clean and minimalist design. I love the brown touch on the top of the tongue as well as on the back. The packaging was incredible, but i won’t ruin the surprise for you *wink wink*.

For the current price point of $105, (on-sale) i think this is an excellent buy if you are in need a simple yet trendy white sneaker. I removed a star because the stitching inside of the shoe, on both sides of the base of the tongue causes discomfort when worn.

The discomfort is mainly above and between my pinky toe and toe #4 (ring finger toe?). Each time this happens I have to adjust the tongue and try the shoe on again. Otherwise this is a great shoe. The shoe fits true to size.

For me the sizing was equivalent to Adidas Shell tops, Nike Airmax, or Nike Air Jordans (Jordan 11). I hope this helps!.

A super fan of the lux and performance shirts and needed some shoes to go with everything. The Everydays have an impressive presentation. Even come with a super nice leather travel bag. Footbed great.

Leather quality. And yes they go with all kinds of outfits. But the problem is they are so uncomfortable. I thought maybe I had to break them in. Loosened the laces. Wore with thin socks, no socks still really tight on sides and toe box constricts the toes.

At an attempt to pack light and bring one pair of shoes (while still in the “Let’s Try And Break Them In” phase) I brought them to Vegas. While in the airport in my home city I knew I made the wrong shoe decision.

I survived Vegas with no blisters but the bad ventilation did not help my sore feet feel better could not wait to take them off. Ran over the return period so stuck with them. Maybe if I got a half size larger Than my normal fit I don’t know just feel like I wasted a $100.

Let me elaborate on this. The shoes look sweet and the leather seems nice however the quality of build on both pairs I ended up getting wasn’t great or it was off. The leather on the right side of the right shoe seems almost as if they left too much leather on and so when you take a step the leather basically bends/bulges out and it looks pretty ****** if you’re wearing shorts.

Other than that they’re great. Might be why they’ve been 30% off for months on end. Either way I recommend them and who know mine might have been a defected pair. Love BYLT in general though.

I never write reviews, but I really like these shoes and I would like to share my opinion, so the classic Chuck Taylor All-Stars converse, apparently they have been around for over a hundred years and I remember I wore them all the time in my childhood because my parents liked them, but since then I haven’t wore them again, now that they are popular and everywhere I decided to buy them, I was not disappointed, they are the most comfortable shoes I have been using so far, when I buy shoes what I look for is comfort, simplicity and stylish, and I get exactly that with this shoes.

They are made of rubber and cotton canvas which makes it very easy to wash them and not get damaged. They are very comfortable as well. I used them all the time because it allows my feet to breathe, feel relaxed and hugged so I can do everything, I can go to the gymnasium, I can go to work, go shopping or just go out anywhere with the shoes on.

They are also very stylish, it goes with everything, I use them with my formal uniforms, with my clothes for work, with my gym clothes and I always use them with my regular clothes, they are my go to shoes and it just looks amazing.

I highly recommend these shoes because they are unisex, have amazing colors and are durable. I think they are a 5 star quality and completely worth your money.

These are the gold standard of the modern sneaker. When I learned they could be made in leather, I purchased these beauties. As a correctional officer working 12-hour shifts and walking an endless maze of concrete and steel grate, these shoes held up to over 200 hours of on-duty wear and abuse plus personal wear.

I do not get into many use of force situations, but I would not want to kick someone wearing these shoes. The leather uppers took about 16 hours to break in for my feet and how tight I tie my footwear.

The foam and rubber soles did not need any break-in time. I recommend saddle soaping these leather Chuck Taylor’s after the breaking time and since my pair are all black I buffed in parade shine black boot polish.

The truck for leather care is to heat the medium to a liquid then apply and buff to the desired finish.

I have worn Converse Chuck Taylor’s for the majority of my life. I find them to be comfortable for any purpose such as walking and going out with friends. For me, the Chuck Taylor always runs big so I order one size smaller and it fits like a glove.

I love the fact that when the shoe gets dirty, they are easy to clean and keep clean for that matter with the right shoe cleaning kit. These are great shoes for wearing to go run some errands and even dress up with some nice chino’s and a button up shirt.

Furthermore, if you lift weights, then these are the perfect shoes for lifting. The only thing that I would not suggest doing is running in these shoes because they do no provide the support you need.

I would highly recommend these Converse Chuck Taylor’s to any person of any age group.

I received several compliments while wearing these shoes. The Air Force 1s are very comfortable and are great for anything from running errands to going out around town. They run a little tight for wide feet, and I feel they are best for the fall and winter seasons as they can feel a bit hot for the summer.

One of my favorite features is the strap that provides extra support around the ankle. The shoes are well made and durable. Overall the Air Force 1 High Tops look terrific with an all black design, easily pair with outfits, and are very comfortable to wear for the daily grind, quick errands, and a night on the town.

IšverstiShow in original languageI usually wear a size womens 8 and these shoes fit just right. Comfortability is average, I wouldn’t wear them for a long duration. Maybe a few hours max. The durability of the shoe seems fine but if you have to bend or do anything that requires lots of activity, it will cause creases on the toe of the shoe.

The design is very stylish. You can wear with a dress/skirt or casual with jeans/leggings/shorts. This is the main reason I love these shoes. The versatility is impeccable. The only thing I would change is maybe changing the sole or something to make the shoes comfortable to wear all day.

First things first: Looks alone I would give these a 100 out of 10. they are exquisite! I was a little concerned after reading that some were getting shipped pairs that were dirty or worn- mine came brand new sparkling clean out of the box.

Now for how they fit: I wear a size 12 and have narrow feet. Even having narrow feet, these shoes feel very narrow around the arch area right in front of the heel portion of my foot. It almost feels as if they are cupped and my feet extend over the outer edges.

Also, because the heel is slightly elevated with the air pod, it kind of forces your foot to slide down into the toe of the show. Lastly, the tongue is connected to the upper as one piece, so getting the shoe on is a little tight and you have to bend the back of the heel portion down to slide your foot in.

No major deal breakers, but for this much money and an iconic shoe brand such as Nike, I think these should fit and feel as good as they look. That is my reasoning for the 4 out of 5 star rating.

My 11 year old was so excited to see these Air Max shoes on display at the store looking like flames in the red/orange combination. At the price, they were a splurge purchase for a kid whose feet are still growing.

He loved them, but wore a hole through the bottom of the shoe within 4 months, popping the air bubble. We returned to Nike for them to inspect, but they determined it was normal wear and tear, so unfortunately I’m also out the cost to ship them there.

Super disappointed at the lack of durability on an item that is certainly not inexpensive.

Having been used to zoom x foam soles and such I just wanted a cheap everyday pair of running shoes and these were a great price. Very comfortable to run in. WishI had bought some spare pairs while they were so cheap.

Nike QC is going downhill. Lovely looking trainers but too many flaws so they were returned. Real shame as I love Air Max 90’s but Nike really need to up their game and improve the quality for such a ‘premium’, expensive trainer.

My last pair of AM90’s only lasted a year before the heel cracked and split. Took a chance with these but was immediately put off by noticeable issues such as uneven stitching, pinched toe area on one shoe, glue marks everywhere and uneven toe caps amongst other things.

Gutted.

Buying from nike is the way to go. smooth experience. Helpful support in case you need it. Shoes are great. wore it all day driving walking. Feet didn’t hurt at all. And comfort is excellent. Bought my wife a women version.

She said the same comfort wearing it all day. Durability still in question since i just bought it. but this model has been around for a long time so i would say I think it is durable. I still have that new shoe feeling sonim not jumping around and testing if its gonna break on me.

I bought it to last me not to test to see if it would break.

Purchased a pair of these a few weeks ago in a store in lower Manhattan. Not a fan of the mesh toe box. This shoe used to deliver so much more. It’s like they’ wanted to cut down on using leather that the replaced the toe box and other areas of the shoe with a mesh like plastic.

Shame.

I was incredibly excited to purchase my first pair of AF1’s. I tried them on in the local shoe stores at the mall and found that my regular size 13 in these was too small. I was a bit let down that most stores don’t carry the AF1’s in sizes larger than 13.

But, I was able to order them online through Nike. com and they were delivered right on time. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the transaction-side of things. The fit of the size 14 was what I needed… so, I would say that these may run a bit small in regards to other Nike shoes (particularly their running shoes in which I wear a size 13).

As for comfort, the AF1’s have a great deal of support. This is exactly what I was expecting from a shoe designed for basketball. My foot feels very secure in the shoe. It also provides way more cushioning than I was expecting.

From the AF1’s profile, you would expect the shoe to be stiff and a bit rigid when just walking around. This is not the case. I am happy with the comfort of this shoe in terms of stability and cushioning.

My gripe with the shoe comes with the collar. I opted for the mid-rise version and it is incredibly difficult to get in and out of the shoe. I practically need to un-lace the first four holes just to move my foot in and out of the shoe.

The collar is also very stiff and this will require a considerable “break-in” period for extensive wearing. Right now, I’ve limited my time in the shoes to about an hour. Anything more and they cause pain as the collars dig into the sides of my ankles.

If I had to do it again, I would purchase the low-rise versions. I think by doing so, I could skip the “break-in” period of these shoes. Overall: 3/5.

Well, I ordered my first item from here, which was the Air Force. Everything went really smoothly; the shipping was quick and came ahead of schedule; the package was lovely; unfortunately the shoes were not.

The right shoe had a minor blemish, which made me feel horrible because it was brand new. I thought it could be fixed by some tricks but it didn’t. I didn’t contact the return policy or anything since I didn’t know how long the procedure would take and I didn’t have shoes to wear, so I simply said alright.

Everything is excellent except for the damage! I have uploaded a pic of the shoe when I first got it.

I bought these for my daughter as a Christmas present. She loves them and they fit great. They look nice too. I was most impressed by the customer service that helped when I was missing my package. We left town the day it was delivered and I expected my sister to come by and bring it inside.

When we returned she had left town and the packages inside the house didn’t include these shoes. I was distraught thinking they were stolen from our front porch. The lady at customer service was compassionate, patient and very helpful.

It turned out we found the box by I will forever remember the kindness of this stranger.

I bought the Air Force 1 Shadow for my daughters’ 14th birthday on October 15th. This pair was the best compared to the other Air Force 1 shoes. The color scheme an choice of colors was very nice an stuck out with their double layered design.

It’d been 8 years since I had gotten to see my daughter or speak with her on her birthday or simply over the phone. So for the past 3 months I finally been getting to see an visit with her an calls twice a week.

So I asked her if she could get any one thing for her birthday what would she want to get. She answered saying a pair of Air Force 1s. An I looked through many sites an through many different styles of the Air Force 1 collection.

All I know is that when she opened up the box an seen these shoes. The smile that came across her mouth an the happiness an surprise in her eyes. She absolutely loved everything about them from the colors an design to the feel of how they fit.

She is in a mental psychiatric hospital for children an adolescent youth. So I’m writing this review to say as for the shoes it was a perfect ten of ten. I want to say this. Whether I get chosen or not to win this drawing it doesn’t matter.

Cause Finish Line already made me a winner with my daughter an her happiness from getting these shoes. Finish line done more than just help me make a great birthday they made me a super hero with my daughter.

An she needed that from me an I needed that extra help to get me there with her. So thank you Finish Line for a quick shipping time an delivery in time for the birthday. I’ll continue to shop at Finish line for many more buys an I mean many more.

The shoes are not the same color as the picture. I was so excited to have shoes with subtle color, but when I opened the package I was surprised to see bright pink and orange. It’s a bright bubblegum pink and tangerine orange.

The colors are not muted like the ones in the photo. I think Nike must use some sort of filter that distorts the color. I was really disappointed and how different the picture looked compared to the reality of the shoe.

Now I feel like I can’t trust Nike’s pictures.

I’m usually a size 8. 5 but have found that with Nike i’m a size 9 – so maybe size up if you’re not sure. Size 9 was absolutely perfect for me! These are “fuzzy” inside and I figured that would make them less roomy, so I think with a 9 I have more room to wear bulkier socks.

Aside from that, these shoes are fantastic in every way. High quality, super comfortable and incredibly stylish. I’ve gotten sooo many compliments on them, with people asking me where I got them. I don’t usually wear casual sneakers, but the design was perfect, I loved it immediately, and it’s unlike any other shoe I own.

The colors really pop in person and I plan to take care of them for as long as they last.
