The product itself is very poorly designed for its purpose. The slippers are heavy and clunky (sort of like strapping a 2×6 to your foot). Worse, there’s just one adjustment, so if your feet are a non-standard shape, or your forefoot swells but your ankles don’t, you’re out of luck.

The Velcro closure is one giant piece of very strong Velcro, so they won’t come undone, but an elderly or disabled person will also have great difficulty undoing them. I paid extra for rush shipping; when they hadn’t been shipped 4 days later, I started trying to contact the company.

Emails weren’t answered; spent hours on hold. When I eventually reached someone, they told me they’d look into it and get back to me, but they never did. By the time I eventually got the product, I had bought something else.

I then had to pay the shipping to return the product…. on top of the $30 I had paid for the rush shipping I didn’t get. So I’m out over $40, with nothing to show for it but a lesson learned – don’t buy anything from Silverts!.

The slippers are great, just not the perfect fit for my father. We ordered according to the suggested size but he has one toe that is so swollen the slipper is uncomfortable. My brother is also a diabetic so I am gifting them to him as he has smaller feet than my dad.

I am reordering for my father getting the next size up. I haven’t seen them as I live in another province. My mother said they are very nice though. Just not the best fit for my dad. I would have given a 5 star but the site says to order the size that the person wears normally, but in this case that just isn’t the best fit.

I bought these slippers because I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and I could not find anything where the outside of my foot wouldn’t get imprints. The enclosure are great but the inside of the slipper has an almost cord like stitching which then digs terribly into the outside of my foot.

It gets so painful I have to put a folded cloth along the stitching to be able to wear them. The cord like stitching is my only complaint. Anyone with nerve pain I honestly wouldn’t recommend. Now I have to look for another pair which is so difficult during Covid.

Insoles also would not work as they are too narrow.

My husband has extra wide feet plus edema. Socks that “fit size 15” rarely fit him so I bought the XL figuring they would have the best chance of being the correct size. They were huge and fell off his feet.

What a surprise. Had to return them. They appeared to be of good design and of excellent quality. Regular shipping was indicated to be UPS but it arrived via Canada Post. Not a problem but was unexpected.

I didn’t receive an emailed notification that package was delivered. Don’t know how long it was sitting in my mailbox. I only check it once a week. I will have to reorder but have been too lazy.

The slippers fit my Mother in laws swollen diabetic feet nicely with soft warm material, but they do not stay positioned on the foot if the wearer has to shuffle to walk. They tend to move around and the non slip bottom ends up on the side of the foot.

If the person has better mobility, or is in a wheelchair, these would be fine for diabetics with edema. If they are in the late stages of mobility, not so much.

I don’t have diabetic feet or other foot problems, but these booties have something to offer. comfort and a grippy outside sole. They are definitely bigger than I need, so I wear a thick pair of socks to compensate.

Also, they are machine washable, but I let them air dry. Easy on and easy off.

After purchasing two previous pairs of these shoes, I bought an additional pair this fall. There was a big difference in the liner. The liner in my previous pair had been really thick and comfortable.

This liner was thin and did not offer my feet the comfort that the others had. I ended up pulling the liner from one of my older shoes and putting it in this pair and that helped quite a bit. Not sure what the difference is but they just don’t seem to be of the quality of my previous pairs.

I called the number listed on the website for Dr. Scholl’s to see if I could purchase an additional liner, but was told they could not help me. I was disappointed. and surprised!.

I loved these shoes at first. They were a great choice for me, heading into my 3rd trimester, as i needed something with a bit more support. However, the shoes have recently begun falling apart. Pieces of the sole keep peeling off, and now the sole/rubber border of the right shoe is coming off completely.

It’s just been about a month, that shouldn’t happen. I am so upset. I had never tried Dr Scholl’s shoes before but always heard nothing but good things. Not so sure id by again.

I’ve usually purchased Skechers or Allbirds brand for my comfortable every day slip on sneaker. I decided to try Dr. Scholls, after seeing the Madison sneaker mentioned on a travel blog as their top pick for comfortable shoe.

I tried these on and laughed out loud. I felt like Cinderella’s step sister trying on the glass slipper! I do not have wide feet, nor have I ever worn wide width shoes, so I ordered a standard width.

My foot was so cramped in these narrow shoes it hurt just standing in them. The toe box is especially tight.

I love these shoes. NO that’s not quite right. I NEED these shoes. Unfortunately for me and plenty of other folks who really need this shoe. we didn’t hear about the closing of the company until two years later.

I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t find my size in this shoe and none of the spira boots at all. So when I found this shoe I ordered it right away once it was clear I was buying the medium width. I had surgery to repair a loose broken bone in my upper foot that had dislodged and made it’s way down among the lower bones of the foot.

It was agony. presurgery. Surgery corrected that but they damaged my foot during surgery when they decided to play this little piggy went to market as the surgeon showed off to a new specialist in training.

That left my foot in as much pain maybe worse than before. in the sense no other surgery can now correct what they did to my foot. All my shoes that had supported my broken foot no longer worked and at first I thought they were the cause of my new significant misery.

The surgery left my outside arch ruined and most orthotics and a 300 dollar custom made orthotic to correct that problem was a total failure. The foot is numb now from the toes all the way to the heel and up the ankle and probably the ankle is weak now due to the fallen outside arch no longer provides the support it needs.

THIS SHOE is the only shoe that prevents now PF in that foot too as well as allows me to walk on a daily basis and ride my bike and hike even pretty well. I have a boot and a mule also in this brand.

I’m shopping for others in my size before they are gone forever. Even picking up decent looking used ones I’m that desparate. The board of directors or what ever they are called that run the Boston Marathon needs a good kick in their back ends because they may have played a roll in this companies demise.

They outlawed this shoe in the marathon because they claim it gave wearers and edge. The company shot back with an offer to give a winner of the marathon wearing this shoe 50,000 reward. BUT no one took them up on that.

As far as I can tell there is zip to the shoe in adding an actual spring to your step or rebound. And it sounds as if the claims made is more not substantiated but surmised or assumed it might. So baloney.

Meantime the company went under. in part to a family members greed to from what I can find out the little info on the net. So this shoe. gives me both inside and classic arch support to my high arches along with outside arch support that many shoes and insert orthotic insoles fail to provide.

And the boot is my favorite and the shoe my second. I use the mules as a replacement for slippers or sandals that had some good foot support but not as much as I really need. Just standing on the bare flat floor is painful and I have to slip my foot into a sandal or shoe right out of bed even in the middle night get up’s for thirst etc.

So YES good shoe but writing a review for a shoe no longer made is questionable too. Then again folks like me even those who wear my shoe size but need this shoe more than just like it. need to be alerted to hussle like me before all the new ones and many of the decent used ones are gone too.

I’d by 3 to 4 more same price for this same shoe if I could. I walk, hike, camp. ride bikes, travel and want an active life and this shoe has made all the difference for accomplishing that the past 5 to 7 years.

These are well-made shoes that fit my feet very well. I have a very wide foot and it seems most wide shoes are made for people with very round feet, which I do not have; my feet, like the rest of me, are trim and muscular but very wide at the ball.

All good so far, and then I spent a few days working in them. Got ’em a little damp on the third day, not soaking wet by any means. When I took the shoes off I noted that my socks were stained all across the tops of my toes.

When I took my socks off, I saw that the tops of my toes were blue-black as well! It took 3 days and 2 showers to get the stains off of my toes. The socks will forever be blue-black across the toes. I guess I’ll only wear these when it’s not raining and my feet aren’t going to sweat!.

Love these women’s Walking sneaker, have worn them for at least ten years, and due to ultra-sensitive feet the only shoe I could wear. The company moved production to another country, consequently, the shoes now have to be ordered a size larger/wider.

Unfortunately, Orthotic Shop sent a Medium width when I ordered an X-Wide. So had to return and not sure if I’ll try it again. They are wonderful shoes as long as you have the correct size. Google Express was great as was their customer service.

The day I received these shoes I wore them at home all day. By evening I noticed that my feet were swollen. Apparently the toe box was not deep enough and was pressing on my foot making it swell. I had originally ordered them a half size larger but they were too big.

These shoes are so comfortable I hated sending them back.

I have swollen toe joints from arthritis so order the extra wide. They very nicely accommodate my swollen joints and fit great! Plus, the fleece helps to keep those aching joints warm. The size was right on.

They are stylish and I get lots of compliments on them. Love the denim ones so much I ordered another pair in the wine color.

Having read the reviews on these shoes I waited for them to come back into stock. They are very comfortable. I usually take a size 6 but ordered size 6. 5 wide fitting. They are cushioned and with the side zips are very easy to put on and take off.

The Rose Gold colour will go with everything. I am delighted with them.

These casual shoes are very comfortable and light to wear. The zip is useful as I struggle with laces and actually think this looks nicer anyway. Definitely recommend these.

This is my first order of Propet Shoes. I found the size to be correct, neither to narrow, too wide, too big or too small. The shoe itself is very comfortable for walking. The elastic band, however, is too short.

I was out shopping the first time I wore the shoes with many stops to make that day. After a short time the elastic band started to cut into my instep, which is not especially high. I started to feel like I was being crippled by the strap.

I could not wait to get them off, but needed to continue on to get my shopping completed. It was not a pleasant experience. I am amazed that a manufacturer would create such a comfortable shoe and then ruin the experience by being so cheap with an inexpensive item like elastic.

A quarter or half inch more of elastic would make all the difference. My 4 star rating is for the shoe, not for the strap. I would not buy again, nor would I recommend this style to a friend without an improvement in the elastic strap.

I am not going to throw the shoes away just yet. I will keep trying to stretch the elastic over time to see if it will give some before I torture my insteps again.

I ordered this shoe because it is represented as being stretchable. I have MS and the right side of my body is affected. For the past several years I have had a big problem with my right foot, ankle and lower leg swelling, and, because of the MS, I need a shoe with a strap that goes over the foot to keep the shoe on.

I had a shoe with two straps that fastened with velcro, but when the foot swole, the velcro did not hold and it was hard to walk while trying to keep the shoe from coming off. This shoe allowed the foot to swell and the strap still held fast.

When I saw the Propet Onalee and read the description, I decided to try it out. I am happy to report that the shoe works well. It is very attractive (I needed a shoe to wear to church) as well as comfortable and easy to walk in.

It is well constructed but not heavy on my foot. I am quite pleased with the purchase overall. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that my left foot swells a little bit also in this shoe and I realized it’s because the way the front of the shoe is made.

It seems to be a little short – I’m not sure how to describe what I mean. Where the front part of the shoe ends, it seems to press on an area of the foot that makes the foot swell. (By the way, I don’t feel any pressure from the shoe – it is very comfortable.

) If it covered a little more of the foot, I don’t think the left foot would swell. Then again, maybe I needed to order the wide instead of the medium!.

I have difficulty finding shoes that can accommodate my swollen feet with neuropathy. These shoes are wide enough for me (4 E ). I am pleased in general with these shoes, I would just like a longer or a more adjustable cross strap on the shoes because when my feet swell the strap does cut in.

But that’s just me. So happy to be able to wear shoes!!.

Very comfortable shoes and I have very a very difficult time finding shoes that are comfortable due to the fact I have wide feet, narrow heels and extremely high arches. Plus I love the color. I went up a half size than I normally wear since they don’t come in a wide.

I really like these shoes, this is actually my 3rd pair of this brand of tennis shoes. They are very comfortable, affordable, and of good quality. Also with every purchase you get a pair of orthotic inserts as well which are a value of $19.

The shoes felt okay, but a bit snug when I first put them on. That is despite me ordering up a size. I tried to wear them to work, but one day was it. They did cushion my foot, but they rubbed in so many places I was in pain after only a couple hours walking around my classroom and halls.

I’ll never be able to wear them again.

I have bought these slippers for 9 yrs now. From arthritis and neuropathy they are the only slippers I can stand on my feet.

I absolutely love these shoes! They’re super comfortable and don’t make my feet hurt after working 10hr days. I have plantars fasciitis in my left foot and working long hours I work and being on my feet on concrete all day is absolutely miserable for me.

These shoes are the 1st pair of shoes I’ve ever owned that don’t bother my feet whatsoever and trust me I have probably 20 pairs of shoes. They’re light on your feet with great cushioning and are super easy to clean and take care of.

I’m not a nurse or doctor but I am considered an essential worker because I work for CVS Health Distribution Center. It’s a tough job and puts a toll on your body but now that I have these amazing shoes my feet are one less part of my body that is in pain.

Thank god for Gales though I’ll never buy another pair of shoes to wear to work besides them. I will say they could have a better style something more attractive looking and also I ordered a pair for my mother who works in housekeeping but the only issue I had was that they don’t come in a size wide which is what she needs so please in the near future would you consider making Gales in a wide option?! As a current nursing student I bought these shoes because of the clean look, ease of cleaning, and reported comfort. These shoes are absolutely all of those things. and also SQUEAKY. The comfort of these shoes was immediately apparent the second I put them on and I was elated to walk around my house and try them out for the day.

About an hour in I noticed the squeak. So I changed my socks thinking maybe my socks were too low-cut. the squeak persisted. These shoes are SO comfortable that I decided to try and overlook the squeak instead of returning them.

I wore them to a full clinical day (8 hours) with compression socks and they are truly so delightful and bouncy. just a little noisy. I can’t quite put my finger on what’s making the squeak, but I will not be returning these shoes because they are heavenly.

I didn’t realize there was an option to upload a video otherwise I would have taken a video of the little squeak issue–but it’s all good and I adore these shoes!.

I purchased a pair as a gift for a cousin who is a nurse in Charleston, SC. Her comments are below: Primarily, they are like walking on clouds. Also, they are made of a rubber like material that you can wipe down with bleach wipes if they are contaminated in any way.

The price is very reasonable – much less than a quality tennis shoe. They are $89 and on their website they have a little discount wheel and got $15 off. Torie is in nursing school and graduates in a few weeks.

It’s very exciting. I work at Bon Secours St Francis Hospital in Charleston. I started working there right out of nursing school in 1993 and never left. It’s a great place and I was blessed to find myself there right off.

I loved this shoe & the color teal that I ordered. The shoe is engineered with an arch support. The cork base is supposed to mold to your own personal foot. It feels great slipping your foot into it.

Your foot is totally supported. The base is solid and not wobbly when you walk. The fabric is great and not itchy. It covers the top of the foot very well. I wear a 9W and this was almost a 9WW. I would have compensated this with a thicker sock.

The sole was so hard, though, that I could not step/walk comfortably. I used the shoe indoors only just in case I had to return it, which I finally did. I tried the shoe at different times of the day just to make sure I was not imagining the feel of my foot against the sole.

All I can say is WOW! These Haflinger wool clogs are THE BEST thing that has ever happened to my feet! How did Haflinger do it? I have never worn anything on my feet so spacious and roomy yet so supportive and non-restrictive.

I had a hard time deciding on which size to purchase. I disagree with their recommendation to size up with half sizes. You truly need to size down — these run big. I wear 6 1/2 consistently but wasn’t sure whether I should purchase the 37 or the 38 so I decided to buy both and see which fit was better for me.

The 38’s were absolutely HUGE. Not an option even with a thick sock. The 37’s fit perfect. At first, I thought they were also too big, but after wearing around the house for several hours, I realized that this is the perfect design of this clog.

It offers so much space for your feet yet perfectly cuddles and cradles your feet without being restrictive. When standing, I don’t feel the clog anywhere but the bottom of my feet. While walking, the clog doesn’t slip at all even though there is plenty of room between your foot and the inside walls of the shoe.

If you have arthritis in your feet – especially the instep — this clog is perfect for you. I believe it will give your feet tremendous relief. I seriously don’t want to take these clogs off even when it’s time for bed.

They are fabulous in every way. Please don’t be put off by the price. I know it is pricey but you get what you pay for. Your feet deserve to be pampered by Haflinger clogs. (I also purchased the Hanna #A368393 in charcoal to wear not only with jeans and leggings but also with skirts and dresses.

This clog is super cute and adorable and also a little “dressier” and has all the same benefits and features of the Grizzly GZ, however, it does rub slightly on the instep. So if you have arthritis there, I wouldn’t recommend the Hanna but I would recommend the Grizzly GZ, item #A343658.

I love the purple grizzly clogs by Haflinger. Years ago the foot podiatric at Schulers recommended these shoes and I have been wearing them ever since. I was getting bunions at the time and now have severe arthritis in both knees.

I bought an additional felt insert from Schulers which gives good cushioning. I am now on my third pair of clogs. They last for years. I would recommend these shoes highly to everyone regardless of foot problems.

It’s a great shoe for overall support. I wear mine exclusively in the house as a slipper. They provide much better foot support than a slipper any day. Thanks Schulers for selling such great shoes!.

Fit good, unfortunately the inner foot lining was not good. After 4 days of wearing the new slippers, the lining came away form the slipper and bunches up in the toe area. I am very disappointed with them This slipper was £29 so not a cheap slipper.

You say you care about my opinion, please respond to this review. Based on this purchase, I would not recommend your company or the slippers to anyone.

These slippers are really comfy but the fur on the inside sole of of the shoe came away from the toe area just over a week after purchasing. You could feel the memory foam rubbing against your feet and it was very uncomfortable.

Have returned for an exchange; hopefully it will be replaced and the replacement slipper will be better!.

It’s one of the hottest days of the year so I haven’t actually started to wear my slippers but I have tried them on and they are so warm and comfortable. My feet should be cosy this coming winter. Sizing was good, I ordered the size I would normally order and the slippers are a good fit although they will loosen in time.

The shoe itself is really pretty and I love that they are water repellent (I work in veterinary medicine so they have saved my feet from various pee accidents from my patients). I have gotten a lot of complements about the look and color.

BUT they are not comfortable at all for people that work on their feet for long shifts. I thought since they were geared toward nurses that they would have some sort of support. My feet hurt so much a few hours into my shift and afterwards that I can’t wait to take them off on my lunch break and when I get home.

I normally wear Asics or Nike and have not had issues like this before. Another thing is it feels like the front of the shoe dips down some so my big toe gets pinched throughout the day as I walk or stand.

The shoe is a size 9 which is my normal size and my foot slides very little so I don’t think a size down would help- probably would be more tight. Of course I was not going to know how they fully felt until I worked in them for a full shift.

Sadly I know they do not have any refunds on shoes that are worn but you can’t expect to have a good idea of how they will do until you test them out. Overall, I would have expected a shoe that costs $140 to be more comfortable and have way better support.

This shoe would be better for someone that has more of a sedentary job and only has minimal standing time.

The concept is great- I retired my dansko cause I wanted something more form fitting, plus it doesn’t look great in joggers and I was tired of wearing my ultraboost (my favorite shoes) to work. Pros:1: waterproof and easy to clean up2: color is cute (I bought the lemonade)3: good for wide feet cause it does stretch (pro & con w the stretch).

Cons:1: the shoe laces are stretchable but I wished it came in a shorter length. I had to tighten mine so that it was more fitted but it made them long that I had to put a knot in them so they weren’t flopping around when I’m walking.

Then of course it left a weird crease on the front of the shoes cause the laces were tightened. 2: I’ve had these shoes for about 3 weeks now (I work 3 -12hr shifts) and have noticed the insoles have already given away that I can “feel” the bottom”.

Cushion 0 stars – (I felt like I just bought some cheap throw away shoes, but it cost $129+) for how long they last— horrible. 3: Not much of an arch – and my heels were starting to hurt, partly due to the minimal cushioning.

Unfortunately, I won’t be buying these shoes again especially when it only lasted for a VERY short period of time. The concept was good… but definitely not for healthcare if your constantly on your feet for a 12hr shift in the acute care setting.

I didn’t think this shoe provides enough ankle support for someone working 12s. My friend who’s a nurse has one of their original models and now that Clove upgraded the insole and outer sole, I thought they might be better but the ankle support was still to minimal for me to enjoy wearing them (which was my friends same criticism of the pair they had).

When I’m paying $120+, I feel that I should enjoy walking in them comfortably and have proper support in the sole and ankle. I’m mostly writing this because I was disappointed about the return policy not being clear.

I think that was a little deceiving since when I looked months back, I thought that returns were free if you decided they didn’t work out. Returns are $10 which you won’t know until you go to return them and get to the return options screen.

I think it would be nice if this was more clear but that would likely mean less sales since people would want to be more sure they would work out. If you sit more than stand or are happy in vans/converse, maybe you’d like these.

For me, ankle support is more important than looks so I’m going to try out new balances through Amazon (plus returns are free).

These are more of a hybrid shoe/slipper, but I use them as slippers for around the house, and rarely wear them outdoors. I purchased these because I have a bunion on my right foot and it was recommended by my doctor that I wear something with more support, versus walking around my house barefoot.

These have actually helped a lot. They have arch support and metatarsal pads that are clearly helping relieve my sometimes debilitating foot pain. These are not your typical cheap slippers with “memory foam” soles that provide little to no cushion.

They have an actual sole and insert that is washable. These go with me when I travel and I wear them daily. I will likely pick up an extra pair!.

Order a half larger, lucky I read the reviews and did just that. They fit perfectly. Very well made. Don’t like the insole they have a square patch that in the center that get uncomfortable after a few hours.

I bought different insoles now they feel great. Other than that I like the fact that they don’t get as warm as most slippers (I did not get fleece insole).

I bought this to be an indoor working shoe for my home office. My regular slippers made my feet too hot and had no support. These solved both issues, and they are stylish to boot! Great price, too. Will see how they hold up, only had them a week and no issues so far.

Will probably be adding these to my list to rebuy extra pairs as they are exactly what I was looking for.
