Bought these using the correct vehicle information online and then later verified in store that they were for my car and they had the wrong bushings. If I was a private shop this would have cost me even more money in labor costs and may have made me lose a customer.

Not sure who’s at fault on this O’Reilly or Monroe for listing to the wrong vehicle.

I had to replace my year-old air shocks because one got a hole in its bladder from the parking brake cable rubbing on it (unbeknownst to me until it went flat). I had passed on the load-leveler shocks before, but this time decided to give them a try (having to add air to the air shocks for load changes or temperature changes got old in a hurry!).

Because the coil springs don’t allow the shocks to compress as much as standard shocks can be, I had to jack up the body to create enough gap to do the installation. which took maybe 15 minutes. And as soon as the new shocks were on the truck bed was at its proper height with a noticeable firmness that was apparent even during driving.

After a month the shocks are working as advertised. but I still need to hook up my utility trailer to the truck to see how they perform under an extreme load. I believe that they will be just fine, however.

Whether or not the shocks enable my truck (1998 Mazda B2500 SE) to carry additional weight is irrelevant to me – I just want to have a truck that doesn’t sag under even a light load. And I expect the Monroe load-levelers to be good for many years of use.

I wanted to reduce the rear bounce and improve the handling of my 2000 Ford Ranger before winter driving begins. Also, I haul items on occasion and/or tow a small utility trailer, and the rear of the truck has begun to sag a bit (mostly from driving with heavy sandbags in the bed all winter).

After checking various Ranger forums, it seemed that Bilstein was the brand of choice, but that was mostly for off-roading. I keep my Ranger to the street and well-groomed two-tracks, so I didn’t need anything too expensive or fancy.

Plus, I wanted to restore the ride height, and add a bit of support for when I’m asking more of the rear suspension. I chose these shocks because they seemed to be perfect as an OEM replacement with a few refinements, for the right price.

I have only had them on for a couple of days, but it has made a night/day difference in how the rear responds to bumps and potholes. I haven’t had a chance to drive with any weight in the back, but it won’t be too long before I need several sandbags for extra traction.

I highly doubt I’ll have to worry about the rear sagging like it has in the past. In fact, the rear sits higher than it did before, but I’m not sure if it’s now at the factory height, or slightly higher.

They were one of the easiest things I’ve ever installed on my truck, but I do have a pneumatic impact wrench. It may have been more of a struggle with plain wrenches. I’ll be installing some Sensa Tracs in the front next weekend, and then I’ll be all set for winter!.

Bought a pair of these along with a pair of 37019 fronts to replace badly worn stock shocks on 2001 Chevy S10 2. 2L 5spd 2WD at 92,000 miles. Great improvement in ride control over uneven pavement, especially at highway speed, and much less noise and “road chatter” noticeable in cab.

Noticeably stiff in the first 1,000 miles, these shocks slowly got smoother after that, and continued to resist dive in braking, and to deliver great ride and handling. Overall, the truck is far more stable and predictable in handling, across all surfaces, and therefore, much easier and more fun to drive, than it ever was, even new, with the stock shocks.

These Sensa-Tracs are a good value, too, particularly for trucks that will be mostly on-road use.

Bought this and a pair of 37099 for a 2000 blazer. The handling and drivability were greatly improved over the previous performance shocks that were installed. Would highly recommended these Monroe shocks to anyone looking for shock replacements.

Easy installation both front and rear.

This product is great however, I won’t buy online again because it took 11 days to receive. I feel that’s too long for a pair of stock replacement shocks

I bought these for my 2003 Chevrolet Silverado. The original shocks made it 190,000 miles! I hope these do the same. The price was very reasonable and they were easy to install. So far the ride is great.

My only dislike is the color. Does anyone really want yellow shocks!?.

Perfect fit on my 2000 Chevy Silverado. Same length as OEM and all bolt holes lined up. Big improvement from what I was use to but after 92,000 miles on original shocks it’s no wonder. Now the truck handles like a new vehicle.

One hour install for both front shocks and that was taking my time.

I ordered new struts for my vehicle and these were recommended by the AZ system as an official unofficial OEM replacement. So, I bought them and the special order came in very quickly and the parts were cake to put in.

exact fit (they appear different than the stock configuration but that makes no difference on install). had a bit of trouble on the left, I think Hyundai may have had “jig failure” when welding up the body, maybe why the left rear go bad so soon.

These solved the problem and ride great!.

Bought these to remove the “sag” that is common with the Express vans. Took less than an hour to remove the old factory shocks and put these bad boys on. Rasied the bumper a full 2 inches as soon as the the jacks were let down.

The ride is 10 times better, the “sag” is gone completely that was there even with just a standard load. I couldn’t be more pleased and saved over $300 from what the mechanic shop wanted to install these shocks.

They do come 2 to a pack so when ordering just select one.

Bought these to use on my ’99 Suburban which is used to tow a 27′ travel trailer. Helped with both stability and ride height. They were easy to install. The spring has a way to dismount it at the top to push it aside for easier access to the bolts, very nice! Word of warning: They are packaged as “Quantity:1” but there are 2 in a package.

Because of this I ordered 2 sets. Advanced Auto was very good with the return. Sent me a ‘postage paid’ return label immediately and I got it back out the same day.

I wanted something cheaper than air ride suspension to tow a toy hauler. These over load shocks are the bomb. I changed them out in my driveway,however, would have been easier with second person. Be sure to block the front wheels and use jack stands to help support the job.

Just follow the instruction sheet supplied. Job took me 2. 5 hours. DONE.

I like the adjustability, but the difference between min and max settings doesn’t feel like much – I’d guess max is only 30-50% stiffer than min. In contrast, my old Koni’s can go from stiff to you-need-to-be-Arnold Schwarzenegger to move ’em.

Anyway, not so big a deal for a light car like my Datsun 510 (which Camaro shocks fit), but know there’s a reason these are such a bargain compared to other adjustable shocks.

Monroe offers 2 levels of gas shocks for my 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan. I spent the extra to get the OE Spectrum shocks and I’m glad I did. Very good quality, fit and comfort/control of the ride. They actually look like a small step up over the factory original shocks.

Now they just need to last like the originals all though if they fail they have a lifetime replacement warranty so no worries.

Straightforward installation with basic tools. The van seems to ride a little smoother and quieter right away, so the bottom line is I’m glad I replaced them after 150K miles.

I always knew that Monroe made good shocks and I am happy that I made this purchase now the car runs smooth and under control. I will recommend these.

Put these on our sagging 2002 Chevy Astro, along with used factory 4 leaf springs replacing the 120k mile worn out 3 leaf ones that came with it. We brought the rear end up a full 3 inches. I was apprehensive that the coil overs would make the ride stiff like a pickup, or hard bouncy.

That was not the case at all, it rides like new. Now the rear is firm but not harsh, and no more body roll around corners. It does not rebound over bumps/railroad tracks or bounce all over the road like it did.

It’s smooth, you can still feel the road, but not like a truck. I can’t wait to hook our new TT up to it next month and try it out.

Old shocks that were on car were worn beyond belief. One just “upped and downed” by holding it up or down, no resistance, the other collapsed, making a sucking air noise standing it up, and would not come back up.

That was the rear. Went on to easy, 30 minutes up on the jacks and was done. They ride well, car now sits at stock height which is what I wanted, don’t bounce around like a spring on a stick, no hard ride like air shocks.

It feels right-thats a good thing. A excellent shock, got here in 36 hours-wasn’t even ready-had to hold off on front shocks. Wife said it almost feels like a new car. Now I change the fronts. Best money invested on “rideability” so far.

Put these on a 74 Duster, used the spacers included at the top to clear the Gas tank. Nice fit and it raised the vehicle up as well. Thumbs up!

Bought these for my 73 Plymouth Scamp. Love the Monroe Coil Overs. Great handling.

At first I was afraid there would be a lot of bounce, but after I put these on, I was impressed. Ride quality is excellent and handling is responsive. Smoothed out the rear and am very happy with these.

I put them on my 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn. Significant improvement over stock shock. The look is mean and aggressive, looks great, performs great. Even headed down a bumpy road and soaked it up with ease.

Finally, a product that isn’t over hyped and does way more then advertised. I can’t stop smiling, money well spent. Installation was so easy also.

Im kind of picky when it comes to parts now days. I didnt see a lot of reviews on these shocks. I bought a pair of these for $84. 99 and wow what a deal! These shocks are just what I need for driving on sand and dirt roads where I live.

They handle great with a trailer on the pickup and theyre load leveling so the truck doesnt squat. My 07 Dodge Ram 1500 rides like a dream all the way around! Cant go wrong with a pair of these on the back.

If you debating on these just go ahead and buy a pair. Youll love them!!.

Installed these on my ’88 Chevrolet K1500. Installation is not as straight forward as conventional shocks since the springs make the shocks difficult to compress, but not difficult. I put the rear of my truck on jack stands and placed the factory scissor jacks between the leaf spring shackle and frame to stretch the axle down an additional 2 inches or so to facilitate installation.

Springs raised the rear of the truck about an inch and stiffened the ride somewhat as well.

These shocks were easy to install. The ride is comfortable and so far they are holding up. I have about 500 miles on but will know more in a year of driving. Honda wanted $615. 00 to install two rear shocks.

These were under $50. 00 and I installed. Very happy so far.

When it arrived it was still cold so I just did last weekend. They do work as they should. Like them.

The original ride comfort and handling has been restored to original OEM standards in my 2002 Honda Odyssey Mini Van. These were recommended by a shop that only uses KYB shocks and struts. There is no question that this is an Excellent product.

Before you start installation spray upper bolt and lower nut with PB Blaster or WD-40 to help with any rust. Make sure you remove upper shock bolt completely before removing lower shock from mounting stud.

It took me about 20 minutes each shock with just basic tools and I am no mechanic!! Watch youtube for details. Buy these from Advance Auto Parts, Install them yourself and save 100’s of dollars!!.

Good shocks. Drove for few days, feels decent. Will see how long they last. Takes a muscle to compress it a tille while installing just to manuver it while fitting in. Other than that its good. Seems like good quality,.

Good shocks – Monroe OE Spectrum. It feels much like the original parts

The process to replace is pretty straight forward if you do not run into any seized bits or bolts. Also does not come with any new buts and bolts. Had to buy a separate bolt for the bottom that was an in general bolt and not one made specifically for this shock.

He to cut off original bolt holding the bottom of old shock as they were completely seized on both sides. Car runs smooth so far. Cannot comment on durability as they have only been on my car for two weeks.

I went to my local honda dealership to have a recall addressed, then the service advisor told me that both my rear shocks had to be replaced. They told me that they estimate that it would cost me approx $600++ for labor & materials.

Long story short, i logged into autoanything. com, ordered the shocks. Parts arrived a couple days later. Installed both shocks a little over an hour (easy install) and spent only about $132.

The shock absorbers are working perfectly. It wasn’t until after I started my installation and I snapped a bolt that I learned to tighten the old bolts before reversing them out lessens the chance of a snapped bolt.

Otherwise easy installation.

I installed and all seemed well. Not even 2000miles later one of the two is making noise when it compresses as well as the wheel its behind sags when parked on even slightly uneven surfaces. This is frustrating since exchange is difficult via shipping and having tdd o remove it so soon after installing.

I also purchased a separate set of shocks buy KYB put them on my Toyota Camry and they seemed great until the first snow hit here in Montana temperatures drop down to about 10 above which isn’t very cold for this part of the country I noticed my shocks clunking and hardly moving over bumps these shocks also haven’t been on the car for but 2000 miles Maybe as I remember not even changing the oils since I’ve put them on I’m done with KYB.

Great shock for the value. The legitimate replacement for the zw7 suspension is around 400 a shock. These arent quite as advanced as those are, but these are really great quality considering the difference in price.

Fit perfect and easy to install. Greatly improved the floating feeling on my 2004 suburban. Summit was great in getting them to me in a day or two.

Improved the ride on my 67 Chevelle considerably. No installation problems. No upper installation hardware included but what I had from the old shocks worked fine.

I own a 1974 Chevy Nova hatchback. The shock on the bottom, Where the bolt slides in is to wide. Looks like have to trim the bolt slide retainer. Only problem is they are GAS shocks and a huge sawzall is gonna be scary and reckless.

I wish I would have went into our local shop.

installed the shocks in place ofsome that have probably been there since who knows when. what a world of difference car rides like it should took away the sloppy ride, hugs the road with very minimal body roll in hard corners.

really happy with them will be putting some on my 67 camaro when it’s time.
