20 Best Shirt For Big Belly (2023 Updated)

I wish I knew about this before. So many times I’ve needed a top like this to help me feel more confident when wearing more fitted clothes. This too is flexible and lightweight. I went back and bought it in the white color as well and the t-shirt style.

Definitely buy one side down from what you normally get.

There is so much to say about the shapeware tank t-shirt! Such a great fit, helps shape my body, hasn’t faded after multiple washes, keeps shape after drying and doesn’t shrink, doesn’t fold down on sides uner arms, keeps my shirt dry when I sweat, very durable, 10 out of 10 DEFINITELY!!!! I will continue to buy this tank t-shirt as long as they keep selling it!.

These are very nice I recommend the tank top over the T-shirt because I have bigger arms. Also they do tend to be a little bit warm. The fit is fantastic because I made sure and ordered the tall. Definitely worth the money I have bought others.

I’m always looking for a long white tee to put under my cardigans and sweatshirts that is a heavier weight and this is perfect. Tall size yes!! You can’t see through the top which is what I wanted but it’s still soft.

I will be buying many more in the future. It washes well too. No shrinking or pilling.

This tee is so comfortable. I like a good cotton tee with a little weight to it and this one fits the bill perfectly. I also like no pockets on my tees, another positive. The only negative is I couldn’t find the no pocket style on the Carhart website, so I fear they have discontinued it.

Sizing continues to be problematic. This is the ‘relaxed fit’, which ironically in the case of Carhartt, means “more slim fit than the standard fit K87”. Knowing that, AND checking the sizing chart, I took my usual size, XL.

Big mistake. BIG mistake. Like a size or two, too big. Exchanging this shirt (and the FIVE OTHERS) I bought for size Large, though based on the fit, my wife said she thinks I should consider a MEDIUM! Folks, I haven’t worn a medium since 2002, nearly 40 lbs ago.

For comparison I am 6’2”, 220 lbs,.

These Fruit of the Loom Assorted T-shirts are great for everyday wear. With 6 t-shirts in the pack you can have one for everyday of the week. And being assorted you can wear a different color everyday.

They are soft and comfortable. Tag free means no more irritating itching tags on the neck. The collar keeps it’s shape after washing. The fit is true to size. Mind you I did size up due to the fact I knew there was going to be some shrinkage.

They wash and dry well without getting all deformed. The are soft and stay soft after washing as well. They seem very well made and sewn perfect with no loose threads or seams.

I’ve just recently switched to buying this bigger size of white shirts for my husband, we usually buy 3xl in store because it’s more convenient. This is my first time ordering offline and it came super quick, my order was accurate, and they were just as listed.

However on the first wash they began to start shrinking. I always wash them all first before my husband wears them because he has sensitive skin. I bought (2) 6 packs of the 3xb and most of them have shrunk enough you can tell.

Maybe I just got a bad batch. I will however continue to buy these.

I had originally gotten a 5 pack of grey and black in size Medium. First of all, for reference, I’m tall and skinny but have pretty wide shoulders. The length is perfect for me – it’s long enough to actually stay tucked in and the length didn’t drastically shrink in the wash unlike most other undershirts I’ve worn.

The width is narrow/tight which is great for me around the waist and chest since most other undershirts are a bit to wide, but the shoulders were uncomfortably tight. Even as someone who is used to dealing with shirts with narrower shoulders, it was surprisingly too tight and uncomfortable.

So I ordered the same pack again but with a size Large this time. Now they are much more roomy and comfortable around the shoulders, although maybe a little too baggy/wide. And of course the length is hilariously long since the Mediums were already long enough, but since I always tuck them anyway in I don’t mind.

I’m still glad I switched to the Large and will probably keep wearing them since it’s hard for me to find grey undershirts that are long enough to stay tucked in. So I would recommend ordering a size up if you can’t stand really tight shoulders.

Another thing to note is that all the shirts smelled pretty bad at first (again, I got the grey and black ones so I’m not sure if the other colors smell too). I’m guessing it’s from Formaldehyde or something.

I didn’t always notice the smell right away for some reason, but it’s definitely noticeable after the shirts are sitting there a while or you sniff closely. And none of my other clothes smell like that so I know it’s not coming from anything else.

However, after washing them several times in a row and adding a cup of white vinegar in the washer with them, the smell has pretty much gone away, so in the long run I don’t think it’s a big deal. Just be aware that you may have to wash them multiple times for the smell to fade away.

One more issue is that the number of each color pictured in the pack is not necessarily what you will get. The black/grey 5 pack I ordered had 3 grey and 2 black shirts for my first order of size Medium, which is what was shown in the picture and is what I wanted.

However, when I ordered the same pack but with a size Large, I got 2 grey and 3 black instead. It’s not a huge deal to me and not worth returning given the cheap price, but I was slightly disappointed because I mainly just want the grey shirts.

So keep in mind that the picture might not match exactly what you will get.

I started using Kutting Weight in 2019 on the recommendation from my husband who had been using the products already. I tried the women’s sauna shirt and it was too tight at the time so I went with the men’s and have been using it almost daily.

I also have the hoodie which I use when I go outside and I purposely bought one size bigger so I can wear layers under it, especially for colder weather and it generates plenty of heat and sweat! Since using the sauna shirt, along with exercise and watching my diet, I have dropped almost 40lbs.

I decided to give the women’s sauna shirt another go and I can now wear it comfortably! I do like that it seems to be designed for a woman’s body and curves so it does fit more snug which helps generate more heat and sweat! I have back problems so I can’t do anything extreme, my exercise consists mainly of walking and light jogging either outside or on the treadmill with stretching before and afterwards.

While these products will start to generate heat almost immediately, if you are willing to put in the effort and get up and move, these products will work!.

Had to exchange my xs for a small as it was just too tight. Website mentioned getting the smaller size but I was having a hard time just getting the xs on. First of, can I just say their customer service is superb! So easy to talk to and work with! 5 stars alone for them! The shirt itself provides a good sweat! I usually don’t sweat much on my HIIT workouts even when wearing a long sleeve.

Not much that I need a towel or anything. But I’ve used the Kutting wear v3 shirt for my HIIT workouts and I am dripping sweat down to my fingertips and through the honeycomb mesh! It’s insane! My husband thinks I’m crazy for wearing it during our HIIT workouts but let me tell you, it’s so breathable and nonrestrictive! It’s so easy to remove and there is sweat literally still dripping off your body.

I’ve been washing on gentle cycle and hanging dry. It’s been holding up still. The reason for not 5 stars because it does look like a scuba suit, kinda bulky because of the neoprene fabric that it makes me really embarrassed.

It doesn’t fit on me like it does their model where it doesn’t look bulky, but normal. I feel more like a storm trooper 😅. I wear a thin long sleeve over it every time I wear it out. My thin long sleeve amazingly stays dry after the workouts and the only areas that are wet come from the sweat captured through the areas of Kutting wear v3 mesh ventilation.

I love this suit!!!! I sweat like crazy and by the end of my workout I’m soaked and drenched in my Sweat. The only thing is, I’m 5′ and very curvy so the top fits good but when I’m walking and running it tends to slide up and fold under the breast area.

So I just keep pulling it down and thought about using velcro to keep it from sliding. But other than that it’s an excellent suit and every time I put it on its just minutes til I start breaking out and getting my Sweat on.

The leggings is awesome! It fits perfectly and when I sweat it drips down my socks and shoes. Completely gross but it’s definitely putting in work. I’d recommend this suit to anyone and every one looking to shed some inches all around or sweat like crazy.

I really like the colors and the tie-dye theme with the shirts. What I don’t like is that it seems that your Quality Control is lacking. One of my shirts came in a “Tall” and it shouldn’t have. I checked my selections when I placed the order (in case I was at fault) and what I selected was correct.

Also, another one of my shirts has a HUGE opening for the collar. It is so wide and big that I can’t keep it on a hanger, all it does is fall off.

On January 1, 2021 we purchased 9 of these short-sleeved pocketed T-shirts in Medium, based on the True Fit sizing on Lands’ End website and because he’s always worn Medium T-shirts from other companies.

The positive reviews about the fit also were a deciding factor in ordering these shirts from Lands’ End. When the shirts arrived, we washed just one of them, prior to wearing, (based on the laundering instructions) to make sure the shirt lived up to the Lands’ End promise of “Fights staining, fading, pilling, shrinkage, wrinkles” in the product details.

We had measured both the length and across the chest (underarm to underarm) of the shirt and were quite surprised when there was significant shrinkage in both areas. We did a second and third wash (before wearing) and the shirt continued to shrink in both areas; it was obvious he would not be able to wear these shirts comfortably.

He contacted Lands’ End and they exchanged the 9 shirts for Large size. When they arrived, before wearing, we repeated the same laundering process and after three washes the length had shrunk almost 3 inches and the width 1.

75 inches. We returned the shirts again, and will purchase from another company. Another thing we noticed was on the Lands’ End site, someone had asked 4 months ago if these shirts were still made in China.

The response from Lands’ End was “Yes, this is made in China to Lands’ End specifications. ”, however all of the shirts we received were made in Vietnam. Hmmmm… quality control issues??? To be fair, Lands’ End refunded our money to our credit card and waived the $6.

95 return fee, so we were happy with that. But we are definitely not happy with this shirt and would not recommend it.

I bought three of the Super T Henley shirts as an alternative to T shirts. The material is good quality (and a little thicker than the Supima). Good quality buttons. I did return the original 3 large sized ones and replaced them with XL because IMO these run small all over (sleeves, shoulders, chest, etc).

I normally wear a large shirt but these were uncomfortable enough that I knew I would not wear them. The XL size is comfortable although a little larger in the body than I would prefer (am 5’11”, 198 lbs, 36″ waist pants).

They did not shrink in the dryer and they launder well – just pull them out of the dryer quickly because they are not “permanent press”. If you do that, they look good and the colors are rich.

First, I love(d) the shirt. Very soft and comfortable. But its lifespan was shorter than an Oregon summer. The quality wasn’t great. I’ve never had a problem with Lands End shirts (and that’s about all I wear) until this one.

Unfortunately, this shirt immediately developed deodrant/sweat stains under the armpits that couldn’t be removed. It’s as though the underarms bleached out, and no cleaning methods worked to remove the stains.

It’s not like this was profuse sweating. It was mild perspiration in a mild climate. indoors. But enough that it’s very noticeable on any color that isn’t white. I would expect this after a couple years.

I was very skeptical on this product. When I took the shirt out the bag I said this is not goingt to fit me, I just wasted my money. So I said to myself let me least try to get it on, and you know what, the shirt did fit.

I was very impressed as I did not feel constricted at all with having the shirt on. if you read the review you will see that the guys that bought the 3x have no problem, I am guessing more material to stretch compare to the smaller sizes.

I sweat a lot and the shirt kept me a little cool, but it does dry fast on you. I am 65 and weight 335 wear size 42/44 and 3x in shirt. The shirt went past my waste and is long enough for me. I did lose half inch on my side, stomach area, and my chest went down.

so I would get another shirt.

After reading more than 15 reviews for this shirt I was a little worried that the compression would be to strong therefore, causing breathing problems. However, I decided to take a chance. I just received it today via mail he was so excited he put it on and immediately shrinked down 2 sizes.

Over the past 10 years he has become the biggest success story when it comes to weight loss that I have ever known. He’s lost over 400lbs. He loves it and so do I. We are very happy customers I recommend this for anyone who wants that extra edge after weight loss.

I bought the XXL, I am 6’9″ with a 52″ chest. The fit is tight, as it should be, the shirt is long enough for me and works as expected. It is not easy to put on, sort of like a wet suit. Roll it up to the pits outwardly, so when you get it over your head and down past your arms, you can roll the body down.

Yes the neck line is a little funky, thin, and looks a bit feminine, I’m sure due to the stretch of the material. I personally don’t care. It works for me.

This is the second purchase of the Munsingwear Crewneck Cotton Undershirt. The shirts last year had nice thick collars that stayed comfortably around the neck. The t-shirts this year have much thinner collars and the necks are all stretched out.

I will not be purchasing these again.

I was looking for an improvement over the big box store undershirts my husband has been wearing. The Munsingwear shirts have side seams which prevent the “torquing” of “tube” shirts, but the neckline is a bit too large and doesn’t lie flat.

reminds of the good old days of white well fitting underweat, no fancy labels, cute tags etc/

I bought a few of these tees after I gave birth and they were one of the best purchases I have ever made! The design on the side of the tee makes it so easy to nurse wherever you are whether that is in public or in the privacy of your own home.

The tee is also highly absorbent so if I leaked or while I was breastfeeding some remained, it quickly dissolved into the shirt and dried in seconds. This tee is awesome, especially for busy moms who have to breastfeed on the go!.

Love this t-shirt! Extremely soft material and it drapes nicely and fits great. A good basic to have and I’m sure the nursing feature will come in handy. This is not at all sheer, which is great to find for a white top.

Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because it is hand-wash/lay flat to dry, which is kind of a pain, and it’s a little pricey. Despite those cons, it is so comfortable that I would have ordered another in a second color, but Nordstrom was completely sold out when I went back to check.

I’m a 2/4 and like tops to have a loose, but still tailored fit and the small was perfect.

I like how soft this is and how you can’t really tell it’s a nursing top at first glance. However the light gray color, double front layers, and tighter fit made it not as flattering in the waist as I hoped.

Also when you lift up the outer layer to nurse, the placement of the slits on the under layer that allow for nursing access aren’t ideal. They are too low and all the way on the side seam. This requires you to sort of lift and move the under layer to nurse, revealing part of your belly.

I returned it.

Its so nice to have shirts that actually fit my husband and look great on him. Gone are the days of buying 1-2 sizes bigger to allow for shrinking in the wash. I can actually buy his real size and they stay nice & fit for a long time.

Sizes at dxl are a size smaller than other department stores fyi. So I can buy a 2xl instead of 3xl l. These shirts are figure flattering and look really good in the chest/arm area. I will definitely be back for more.

Also customer service at my store (tigard) is top notch!.

For decades I searched in vain for clothes that would fit me. I’m short and stocky with broad shoulders and a little big round the middle. The regular box stores have little to offer, even their “Big and Tall” sections.

Then I discovered DXL and have never looked back. Whether its T-shirts, shorts, swim trunks, underwear, they have what I need. Often they have promotions online and they even regularly send me coupons.

And with my new job, I’ll be soon taking a look at their slacks and sport coats.

I ordered 3 shirts which were supposed to be identical except for the color. The green one fits just right; the blue one says small on the label like I ordered, but fits like a medium; the black one fits OK, but is 3 or so inches longer than the rest.

Very good quality fabric & workmanship, but very poor size consistency.

Just love these shirts! Definitely not a light weight shirt, plenty long for my 6’2” frame Fit is not tight, plenty of room to work outside splitting wood and not have to worry about arms getting scratched wish I would have bought more for the sale price.

Can’t beat the quality and made in India Shipping did take longer then expected, but I had it shipped to the TSC store to save the shipping cost!.

This is my first purchase from Tractor Supply’s website. But I have purchased these shirts for my husband before. These shirts were much, much thinner than the ones I have received from other sources, I was disappointed in that a lot! I haven’t been able to get these shirts anywhere else lately, so I tried here.

The construction is the same and the sizing is the same, but the material is not any where near as thick.

My husband is a big boy hence the reason I shop for him at Johnny bigg, but one thing that I love most about this brand is that there is finally a store that sells stylish clothes for younger men. My husband is in his 30’s and every store that I could find that sells Clothing in his size would only cater old grandpa style clothes !!! Thank you Johnny bigg for not only catering to bigger men but also stylish clothing for younger men.

This shirt is stunning. It’s light and trendy which is great for my husband who feels the heat. I like the store and the selection available. Just because my husband is a bigger body size he can still look fantastic thanks to the trendy selection in store.

This shirt is great and slow to wrinkle.

Feels to be good quality. While there is a decent initial outlay, I anticipate it to be durable and be value for money. Sits well on hubby’s figure. I took 1 star off not because of this shirt in particular, but the majority of clothing choices in the shop are definitely not to hubby’s style – too much florals and pinks.

I always love what I buy at Lands End. But this shirt really surprised me. I bought it because it was on sale for the holidays. I didn’t really need it but I thought it would be a good shirt to sleep in.

It is amazing. The material is extremely soft and very comfortable. I only wish I had bought more of them when they were on sale. I bought it in XL because I wanted it to be roomy and comfortable for sleeping.

I have heard such great things about this company’s shirts, I was really looking forward to buying them for my Hubby. Upon arrival, they looked wonderful, they are so soft, they fit so well, he bought long body mediums 6 pack variety.

He could raise his arms up and his belly doesn’t show, they’re slim fit so they aren’t boxy at the hips. All wonderful points…. Until you wash them, or wear the shirt for longer than 6 hours… Upon washing, we followed instructions given.

Every shirt (6 total) came out of the wash pilling (where the fabric balls up all over) ON THE VERY FIRST WASH. We reached out to customer service, They offered to send out 6 MORE NEW!! They suggested we wash them inside out this time.

We haven’t yet washed the second set, but I can already tell that the fabric on these are pilling too. It’s very upsetting. For 3 days now, after my husband has worn the shirt for over 8 hours, the shirt is baggy, stretched out & just looks like a bad quality shirt.

He hasn’t done any strenuous activities or anything to justify why the shirt would be stretched and baggy. On the contrary, we did receive 12 shirts in total. I am thankful for the customer service, this company took care & did it quick.

But I am quite bummed $110 is spent. Wouldn’t reccomend UNLESS you’re buying these to just lounge around the house in- because on that point- they’re one of the more comfortable shirts my husband has said he’s purchased.

It’s just the visual doesn’t match.

I ordered these with out my wife knowing. I’m 5’10” and about 300lbs. Yea, we n society’s eyes I’m fat. It’s hard to buy shirts that fit good so I just buy 3xl everything. I’m tired of wearing shirts that feel like a 50 gallon trash bag.

I do have broad shoulders and big arms from doing manual labor daily (in no way am I saying I’m ripped). But I got the shirts and put them on and walked out of the bedroom and my wife looked at me like she could destroy me.

She told me all night how she likes seeing my shoulders and arms in a shirt that actually fit me and wasn’t tight around my belly. Every body has flaws, it’s just how you wear it. These bring the dad bod to a whole new level.

My wife said it’s refreshing to see me in a confident state of mind not having to wear clothes to big and saggy. They really work!!!!.

These t-shirts are so soft and comfortable. The sleeves are fitted perfectly and not baggy and the crew neckline is not too loose. The only thing I hate that leads me to not order more of these is that I actually really don’t like the rounded bottom hem and drop tail.

I guess that’s good to have if you want to tuck in the shirt? But aside from that, I really don’t understand why it’s designed this way or that they don’t give an option for a straightened bottom? If these t-shirts were the length of the front side and straight all the way around without the drop tail then they would be PERFECT and I’d buy the entire stock! Can it be possible to give this as an option?.

Milwaukee makes the best shirts and sweatshirts for the $ by far. I compared them to Under Armour, Columbia etc. and not only were they 20bucks cheaper they were by far superior in thickness and fit.

I definitely recommend their clothing line, I own 3 heated jackets also just don’t wear them much because the sweatshirts are so heavy and warm.

Awesome work shirts, better the Carhartt! Comfortable and their long, so on those cold days when your stretching, shirt stay below your Milwaukee Jacket or hoodie, exposing no skin. If you’ve sat on a outhouse toilet when it’s 15° F out, you’ll love these shirts.

The Milwaukee t-shirt is a well made product. The sizing is a bit different than what I normally wear (CHT) as the neck is HUGE on both of the shirts I received. Overall, it is good product. Just a bit different on sizing.

I’M REALLY LIKING THIS PRODUCT. I NORMALLY WEAR A SIZE XLARGE SHIRT, SO I ORDERED THIS PRODUCT IN A MEDIUM. IT’S A SLIGHT STRUGGLE TO GET IT OBVIOUSLY, BUT ONCE ON IT’S VERY COMFORTABLE AND DOES EVERYTHING I NEED IT TO DO.

I HAND WASH IT IN COLD WATER WITH A LITTLE DETERGENT AND HANG IT TO DRY. THEY HAVE IT IN BLACK NOW I SEE SO I’M GOING TO ORDER ANOTHER ONE.
