20 Best Shell For Home Defense (2023 Updated)

This is my third Pelican Storm case, and my smallest one. I’m using it to house my Nikon D610 with the Nikon MB-D14 grip and a small lens, and it fits just right and is deep enough for my camera to fit inside with the grip and lens attached.

There’s just a little space for an extra battery and a few cards. I have a silica gel pack in there, and that keeps everything dry, but you can’t put anything else in the case besides that. I’m usually a one lens person, and this works well for when I’m traveling and have limited space.

The box is very sturdy and keeps humidity out very well. I also enjoy the press and pull latches on the Storm cases very much.

So overall the bag is good— made with sturdy materials but it has one fatal flaw and that is the zippers. They tend to catch and don’t move smoothly. They also feel very cheaply made. for 230 bucks, the zippers should not be like this.

I live in the south, and am constantly plagued by everything from ants, spiders, palmettos and other crawling insects that find their way into my home from time to time. This product takes care of unwanted insects quickly, without the nasty smell and disappointing results of other spray products.

It can be used indoor or outdoor with the same fantastic results. I love my Ortho Home Defense spray. Thanks Scott’s! Another great product from a trusted company.

Having lived in the south for over 25 years now, I’ve learned that having water roaches is sadly common even in the cleanest of houses. Last evening, while watching a movie, my eye caught movement on the ceiling.

I HATE THESE DARN THINGS! There he was boldly prancing across the ceiling. I grabbed my 2 step stool and my Home Defense and he was a goner! Only took one shot and he was done for. This stuff is GREAT!.

Unfortunately I had cause to use this product. Walked into the guest bedroom to discover that the entire window sill was covered in ants!! Sprayed once and they were all dead. Best of all, no lingering scent.

I suffer from migraines that are triggered by smells. No migraine!!!.

Case came missing the piece of foam for the lid. This problem is from Pelican, not Cases for Less. Cases for Less is trying to resolve the issue. I have been informed that the missing piece is on the way, but have no way to confirm this with a shipping or tracking number.

Should everything work out well and I receive the missing piece then I would be happy to revise this review to a 4 star. But as for now I’m still missing the foam lid piece and have a case I can’t use, and I do need to use the case.

Let’s hope Justin comes through.

I sprayed this in my frontyard and backyard. I can finally go outside without any bugs during the day. no more pesky mosquitoes. I live in Texas and there are plenty of them here. I needed something because we have animals and also for us to be able to go on the back yard without getting ticks BUY IT!!!.

This is a great outdoor bug deterant. I used it on the back of my house and all through the back yard and I noticed a big difference. There were no more bugs! But I need to spray the front yard also because I see a few bugs coming from the front porch.

This stuff acts like a barrier, but I spray it all over the yard anyway. It’s very strong against bugs.

Didn’t even get a chance to use it…the bottle (which was supposedly sealed) tipped over on my way back from the store, and it emptied in my trunk…it leaked out where the cap was supposed to be secured.

Cost me a pretty penny to get my car cleaned. Thanks Ortho.

Michigan customer. Stink bugs are all over southeast MI, so I bought this from home depot to see if it would help against stink bugs. I applied a spray around (pretty much) the entire perimeter of my house, both interior and exterior.

Aside from a few dead stink bugs here and there, this product is USELESS against them. I still see freaking stink bugs all over the main floor of my house, and occasionally the basement, and especially at the patio door where they mostly get it the house.

It’s been almost 2 months, and stink bugs are STILL getting in. Also, that’s just the insecticide part of things. This is such a horribly designed product, it’s amazing that it passed Ortho’s quality control.

Whoever designed this “comfort wand” needs to be fired. The wand applicator is flimsy and will randomly decide not to spray, or spray very lightly when the trigger is held. This has been the case right out of the packaging.

This made spraying high/hard-to-reach places an absolute pain, because at times the wand would spray with very little pressure, and it would end up dripping down the wand and and getting all over my hands/arm.

Absolutely worthless product, and I don’t plan on buying any Ortho products in the future. At least for stink bugs. It seems to work for boxelder bugs, but it does say stink bugs on the “works on” list, so this was still nothing short of a disappointment.

How does one tell if it works and will continue to work for an extended period? I am not sure how to rate this product. Getting the unit ready takes less than a couple of minutes – a minute and half to read the information and less than a minute to get the wand connected and ready to go.

The provided wand with the included battery makes it really easy to get going. The spray speed is controlled, steady and not forcefull and so the stuff does not get all over the place. This is good. And yes, unless one has oversprayed, the stuff dries pretty fast and does not leave any odor.

My biggest need for this product was to stop the ants from coming into the house as winter gets close. During summer, I use outdoor granules on the ant mounds in my lawn to get rid of the ants but I understand that the ants really do not die but just move/relocate to another place.

I cannot do anything about that but I am hoping that having sprayed the areas where I normally see them, they will not show up this fall/winter. I do not have to worry about roaches or other bugs inside the house.

I do see the occassional silverfish but ants are my big issue. I will have to come back to this review after a few months with an update of whether the ants packed it in and moved to a different location or if they laugh at me and still make their merry way into the house.

A couple of issues to share – the spray wand works and makes it easy but I fear adding more batteries and plastic to landfills. I am knocking one star out for this. The whiny sound of the motor does not inspire confidence of a long life although it got the job done.

Come summer and the high heat in the garage where I will store this makes me wonder about its lifespan. Fingers crossed, the product does its job. Time will tell.

Okay the biggest reason we got this is ants! Our house is old and I swear they are in the walls. Every Spring and then again Summer about 2-3 times they take over in the bathroom especially. A few or so years ago they took over in the kitchen and in one spare bedroom and we used Ortho (that was given to use to borrow from a neighbor).

That was enough to make me think this is a miracle product because those ants stayed away for good in those rooms now, except for a few that were easily gotten rid of again. The bathroom is where they keep returning no matter what and we had never used Ortho in there yet.

This year we caved and used it in the bathroom and now they are hopefully gone for at least another year, too. I have not seen any since we used it. This is probably the best ant killer ever. Not messy or smelly.

The directions on the label are easy to follow. I would highly suggest to buy it even if you don’t have bugs around because you never know when they will appear suddenly. No mess or smell, the wand is handy so I don’t have to bend.

Being older bending can be challenging. Great stuff! No one wants any bug in their house but ants have been especially invasive here.

I was really excited about this jacket. It has all the features I was looking for and is from a quality company, so I was okay paying the hefty price tag. After receiving the jacket and trying it on, it fits well and feels great; however, the powder skirt is very restrictive and non-removable.

It feels like I am wearing a mini skirt and heavily restricted movements. It really surprises me that they would overlook such a feature in a high-end jacket like this. There are many lower-end jackets that have removable powder skirts or that are less restrictive.

I’ll be returning this and looking elsewhere, what a shame.

This jacket is pretty much the most comfortable gore-tex I have ever owned. The lining makes it very wearable and easy against skin. It also has inside pockets, which most gore-tex does not. The zippers are overbuilt if anything, completely waterproof and sealed.

Many outside pockets, all easily usable. The pit zips are easily reached, if a bit hard to zip because of the extra good zippers. The only ‘complaint’ I would have is that the hood is HUGE. It is designed to go over a helmet, which it does without issue.

Wearing the hood without a helmet is almost untenable. They certainly didn’t skimp on the size there. This is one of, if not the best rain jackets I have ever owned. I completely recommend it.

This jacket is Bombproof. What a fantastic Jacket. It’s the perfect freeride jacket. pros: – Packs away into the hood pretty small rolled up – GIANT arm pit zips – Goretex Pro will stop nearly anything from coming through and is very abrasion resistant – The lining on the inside means that the goretex won’t stick to your skin in the spring causing a moisture lock effect.

– Hood has lots of room for any helmet and can be synched down pretty tight.

I didn’t buy the ax from here but I should have. I bought from another dealer. The ax comes with two things that it really shouldn’t. 1. ) It has some type of varnish on the handle which is a silly thing to put on a working tool.

and 2. ) it has some sort of coating on the ax head that may be varnish as well. the coating is somewhat of an aggravation to remove but hey it’s a low priced but great quality toll so no real gripe.

Perhaps that is why they can sell this a low as they do. After removing the varnish from the handle and the paint and varnish from the head I sanded and polished the head of the ax to a mirror sheen.

I then sharpened the ax and tested it out on a downed tree. It is an excellent liming tool and makes quick work brush and branches. I took down one small tree of about 8 dia. and it chips and chops exceptionally well.

This ax is the best value in small camp axes on the market. It’s no Granfors ax, but it also cost about 1/4 the price and will perform with 70-80% of the efficiency. So in my book it’s a winner! I carry one in the toolbox in the vehicle and keep one at home for around the yard chores.

ok i have more expensive axes so I know a little about axes. i bought this as I have had several COLD STEEL products before. The steel is better than average and all products have been very good value, The haft is nice straight grain hickory, so as good as you will get and no varnish so ready for oiling.

10 out of 10 I will customise it for me, leather miss protector, hole for lanyard, run a blow torch over it before staining,sanding and then oiling. the head is not sharp having said that it will split logs all day and do it well.

you only need a sharp ax if your cutting against the grain. i will sharpen it because i like things sharp and i enjoy the process. this ax will be a great tool and last a lifetime and will equal axes at 3 times the price.

I’d seen several good reviews of these on YouTube and figured I’d roll the dice on one. Not bad at all considering what most bushcraft axes similar to this cost. I did soak the handle close to the head in linseed oil to help insure I don’t have a head flying off, but mine was on there tight to begin with.

Pretty sharp right out the box, but you know you’re going to sharpen it some more just to get that plastic coating off the edge and bring it up to your personal standards of sharpness. The little rubber guard these come with are useless, but you know you’re going to need a sheath going into this purchase.

I especially like the shape of the head as it seems to just glide effortlessly through your wood. Very light, yet just the right heft to get the job done. I also gave mine a paracord wrap to protect the handle from overstrikes.

I’d say you can’t go wrong with this axe unless you’d just happen to get a lemon. If this came with a decent sheath for the head, it would be a 5 star product for sure.

Bought for a SmallHD Cine 13 and it’s working great so far. I’m not using any of the dividers, but instead have the monitor’s top handle on a couple quick releases, and I pull it off when I put it in the case.

Then I use the top divider section to hold the top handle and a a couple other bits, and I push it down on top of the monitor to hold it in place in the center of the case. It’s working well but I think it’s probably best to get some custom foam made for the case for this use.

Also loving the lid organizer for a few spare cables and the AC power supply!.

I was trying to find another storage and transport solution for my Aputure LS1’s. I wanted a protective case as I have to transport a lot of things and didn’t want anything happening to the bag they come in.

I have everything they come with in this one case plus it has wheels. I recommend cutting the foam by individual layers.

I use this Case to keep my 2-Light Litepanel 1×1 LS BiColor Kit. I am able to fit 2 Lite Panels, 4 Gold Mount Batteries, Adapter Plates, Power Cords, Gels, Battery Chargers. The only thing I can’t keep inside is light stands.

The dividers are very well padded to protect the lights and accessories. The case is hard and waterproof. It has wheels and telescoping handle. Very easy to roll. When you have to carry it, it can feel heavy, but I guess that’s the trade-off for the compact size and hard-case as opposed to the other cases available that are soft-cases or larger hard-cases.

I know the divider was made of office stuff, but it was just a moment of inspiration and creativity that I was able to imagine it as a light-kit case which worked fantastically. The B&H salesman who helped me make the decision was so great.

He took the time to put a couple of B&H litepanels into the case to show me that with a little creativity, it was in-fact possible.

After lots of research, including reading reviews wherever I could find them, I chose the Pelican 20 quart Elite Cooler over the Yeti Roadie 24 Hard Cooler. Why? First, I preferred the solid handle on the Pelican vs.

the soft strap on the Yeti; Second, the Pelican has a lifetime warranty vs. Yeti’s more modest guarantee; Third, The Pelican is built like a tank. I am not convinced the Yeti is as durable; Fourth, Why pay more for a Yeti when the Pelican is better built? Things I like about my Pelican: The curve in the back of the cooler does make it easier to carry by your side.

The handle is very strong. The cooler fits on the floor behind the driver’s seat including in the tiny Communauto Flex vehicles we often use (mostly Toyota Prius). It keeps ice frozen several days when used with the Pelican ice packs and packed full with cold or frozen items.

Great size for a day out. Things I don’t like about my Pelican: Limited choice of colours vs. Yeti. I can strongly recommend this Pelican cooler. And, hey, it’s a Pelican and you can’t go wrong with anything Pelican makes.

I had recently purchased this cooler. I have had several other cheaper coolers in the past that would hold ice for one day which was usually all I needed it for. This time I was looking for quality. I have now since started making sure I do all of my homework before purchasing anything now.

Facts: This cooler is Proudly Made In The USA. This cooler has a LIFETIME GUARANTEE. This cooler will hold ice for 5 days or with limited opening. On the 6th and 7th day just water but still ice cold.

This is phenomenal. Yeti coolers are crap!!! Only 5 year warranty. Stay closed with crap rubber bungee. Their capacity is less Than advertised. Not made in the USA. Yeti only has a name pushed by liberal internet gangster’s.

Poor quality in comparison. I’m now going to purchase the 14 quart Pelican cooler as well. Above happy!!!.

I just used this cooler for a short road trip and it was stellar. Ice retention was great compared to the previous coolers that I have owned and the build quality is fantastic. The small finishes like the cupholders with sloped drainage, the bottle opener, and the sloped drainage are fantastic.

The locking clips are awesome, very secure and easy to use. Be mindful of the weight and the dimensions. It’s not light (especially when it’s loaded) and it may not fit in your trunk if you have a smaller car.

Highly-recommended if you’re looking for a durable cooler with plenty of space and a solid construction that will last longer than a couple of seasons. There are more Pelican purchases in my near future.

After reading reviews from many users of this case I thought the largest “issue” was a huge win for me. Many users complained about the lack of built in screen protection. You know, that crappy plastic cover that Otterbox put on all of their Defender cases.

That plastic cover was the reason I never owned a Defender case. You had no alternative for screen protection with these prior cases, take what comes with the case or no Defender case for you. How many times while working in the wireless service/sales I would be handed a customer’s phone and there it was, a plethora of dirt, dust and debris scattered under that plastic cover of their Defender case.

Being a clean freak it’s enough to give you anxiety and I immediately wanted to disassemble their case to clean that poor screen off. Not only does it look terrible, you get the right kind of debris mashed between the plastic cover and the screen and it’s surely going to wreak havoc on your glass screen’s surface.

So here I am, holding my first ever Otterbox Defender case that I can call my own and FINALLY I have the choice of the type of cover my screen will have on it. Otterbox says not so fast. I installed a brand new “case friendly” tempered glass screen protector on my brand new Galaxy S21 Ultra device.

Tempered glass just feels right, I prefer it over all other types of screen protectors as it gives you the best clarity and feel outside of going naked/unprotected and it cleans up so well with the oleophobic coating included on most of them.

Also, you can easily achieve a beautiful, bubble free installation unlike many of the PET film type protectors that have you trying to work those unsightly bubbles out with a small squeegee knowing if you don’t get them out you’ll be staring at them for months.

With the glass protector installed I was stoked. My WQHD+ screen was looking beautiful and beautifully protected I might add. The clarity is great with tempered glass, as if you have no screen protector at all.

Now it was time to transfer my device to it’s final level of protection, the rugged cocoon that would provide the rest of the protection my fragile device needs. I placed the rear plastic cover over the back of the phone and then on to the front portion.

I started locking the 2 pieces together, joining each tab one by one. Click. Click. Click. At this moment I really thought great job Otterbox, this is how the Defender line should be. that is until I reached the bottom of the device and the clicking stopped.

It was at this point all the faith I had in Otterbox was lost. The tempered glass protector was doing it’s job and covering the device’s glass top to bottom (as it should) but Otterbox seems to have designed it’s cases to only play nice with film type protectors as the plastic shell is catching on the bottom edge of my glass protector causing the bottom clip of the case to not lock closed.

It’s not off by much, a millimeter at most but it’s still enough to not allow the bottom plastic shell clip to lock closed, thus rendering this case entirely useless to me. I jump on over to Otterbox’s website thinking they are forcing me into their own brand of proprietary glass protector and to my horror they only offer crappy film type protectors that play well with their Defender cases.

Seriously Otterbox? You upset many of your loyal customers by removing the plastic cover and charging the same high price of those that used to have built in screen protection and then to add insult to injury you charge a very high price for a crappy film screen protector without even giving the option for your customers to go get their own tempered glass protector.

My Otterbox Defender case will now reside in a drawer until someone picks it up on eBay.

I bought this case a week ago with my new phone and I’ve been buying them for all my phones for years now. That being said, previous models I’ve had of the defender cases for my Samsung phones didn’t withstand shock very well and always broke.

This one on the other hand just had the craziest experience with it and rushed over to leave a review. I left my phone on the side of my truck at the gas station and didn’t notice it fell until my watch buzzed me that it was out of range.

I instantly remembered that I left it on my truck and saw it laid out in the road face down about 100 feet from my truck. I waved to the oncoming traffic (which I never recommend anyone do) as I ran towards them to not run my phone over.

None the less a lady ran it over in a Toyota rav4. I thought it’d be destroyed but after thoroughly looking at it and taking the case completely off, the phone itself didn’t have a single scratch on it! The case obviously had some scratches to the border along the phone but the phone itself wasn’t harmed at all.

If that isn’t the definition of a solid case than I don’t know what is. Like I said I’ve had Otterbox defender cases for years now since I work in construction but the durability of this particular case for the s21 ultra is beyond great for the value.

Defiantly recommend 100%.

I bought an otter box defender for my Galaxy note 9 and the screen cracked when I dropped it from my hip. Then I bought another otter box for my Galaxy note 10+ and I also bought the liquid screen protector from asurion and has them apply it and then I dropped it afrom waist high and the glass on the front and back cracked stating from the left bottom corner.

And now I bought another otte box defender for my Samsung S21 ultra. All in all I’ve probably dropped these phones over 50 times combined from a height of no more than waist high and never throwned , slammed or smashed.

now some would say well that’s pretty good 50 dropped and only 2 cracks. So I give this otter box defender a grade of F and I would not recommend it to anyone especially if they have a Samsung or another phone with a curved screen.

Also if I want to charge my Galaxy smart watch or ear buds with the wireless power share I have to peel back the rubber portion of the otter. box because it will not wirelessly charge through the plastic case with the rubber sleve.

I use it for housing/ shielding small electronics/keys/valuables (EDC) for outdoors and waterway pursuits. holds up to usage with rain, accidental spillage. I have not submerged intentionally (that is what the IP certification is for) and everything has been safe.

The case liner is removable/ replaceable. For the internal volume, the overall external bulk could presumably be better but the ratio is not very different from competing brands.

This handgun book is the one for everyone to read. I have been taking handgun training classes, six so far and this book covers it all. It covers everything you need to know in every situation that may arise.

I have several similar books; this one is by far the BEST of the bunch, with great illustrations and easy to understand information.

Great book for anyone from beginners to advanced handgun shooter. Excellent photographs, graphics. not a textbook format, but loaded with a wealth of information. Highly recommend. Would make a great gift too.

I bought this to replace a winter coat I had for at least 8 years. When I first picked up this jacket, I thought “This is too lightweight to be effective. ” However, after having worn it multiple times with weather in the 20s and with wind, I have no doubt I made the right choice.

I can’t believe a jacket this light weight is this warm. And what I love most about it (besides keeping me warm) is that it is not bulky at all (like typical winter coats). At nearly 60 years of age, I can honestly say this is the best winter coat I’ve ever purchased.

Second place is not even close. You won’t regret purchasing this coat!.

After going crazy trying to find the perfect Northface coat for my son! Somehow I ended up finding Moosejaw online and after much debate, I settled on the Apex Elevation Jacket and prayed my son would be happy with it and that it would fit! This weekend we had our early Christmas and he LOVED it! It is the perfect jacket to endure the wind and cold yet not real bulky that it would be hard to maneuver around in.

So, I bought this case a few months ago. I had on on my previous iPhone 7 before I upgraded to my iPhone XR. I was in an altercation where my phone was grabbed and thrown out of my truck while I was going over 40 MPH! Boy I look for my phone for about 20 minutes.

Thankfully I was close enough so my iWatch could connect and beep my phone. I have to say I do not regret buying this case. The phone is completely intact, the case has the rubber pretty scratched, the metal definitely has had better days, but, at least my phone is safe.

We thought that we were getting a red case. The external picture on the actual package and the online sight both show what appears to be a red back to the cover. However it turns out to be a red phone in a clear cover with red trim.

My wife was not happy because her phone is black. Thus the the only red is the trim. here is no mention of the cover being clear until you actually open up the package. She also thought that the bumper would be thicker to protect the phone from damage.

Otherwise, the product seems to be of good quality. Would like info on how to return item for full refund.

I have gone through life proof case after life proof case, otter box after otter box. I have destroyed so many phone cases, and Ive had this case for 2 year and swear it is invincible. I swear by this case.

Never had a case last more than a few months, and am surprised that Ive had this one so long, the paint is starting to wear off. 10/10 do recommend!.

If you play Magic the Gathering’s Jump Start, then get these cube shells. Each Shell holds about 20 penny-sleeved cards and has a place to write the name of a pack or something on the top. They open easily, let you pour out the cards into your hands, and sit off to the side as a reminder of where they should go.

The only issue I have seen with them so far (after many uses), is that getting cards back in them can sometimes be a little tricky. Kind of like putting cards back in a packed tuckbox, some cards catch on the inner flaps and you have to angle or shift them around to get them back in.

After a little bit of practice, though, it becomes easy second nature. 8 Shells come in a pack. My suggestion is to pick a color you like, buy 3 cubes, and a box of Jump Start. It makes for a fantastic gaming experience.

These barely BARELY fit 20 sleeved cards as they advertise. I used them for my Jumpstart MTG cube. The biggest problem I have with these is that they are folded in on themselves on the side during assembly and so there is a plastic lip on both sides of the interior.

I used Dragon Shield sleeves for these too and the cards almost always get snagged when you try to put them in the box. Frustrating.

We use these to store our jumpstart decks. We can place face-down and randomlly select for quick games, then put away immediately. Holds exactly as described — 20 sleeved is a perfect fit. Sturdy, affordable, and attractive.

Definitely a 5 star product for the price.

We’ve been using phone cases since the 1990’s, and these are by far one of the sleekest and most sturdy little cases we’ve used. This case WILL NOT fall off unless your phone maybe explodes. then you have bigger woes.

And the raised edges keep the screen with protector away from harm. My wife has the iridescent case which is real pretty with the Lavender S9 , I went with black and silver with a black S9. Also looks fab.

Best of all is they work flawlessly with the Whitestone Dome Glass screen protector. Highly recommend for perfect clarity and invisible protection. Case provided even enough room to apply some cool padded appliques in between the phone and clear case for a truly personalized look.

plenty room then to add popups and such on the outside of the case as well. So confident that these are an awesome investment on a pricey phone, that we are ordering another for our daughter next month when she upgrades.

You will not be disappointed with the comfort, feel and durability of these thinner cases. Very pleased.

Love the changing iridescent colours on the case. It feels a lot lighter to hold than the metal Purple Lux case, but I still like that one very much. I feel lucky to have been able to buy it, as it seems hard to find.

Had this case for over a year and it has protected my phone from many bumps and falls. The case has started to yellow and crack, which is expected for a case that is over a year old, but for 20 dollars I couldn’t have asked for more.

This is a nice smelling candle with essential oils. It is a nice idea. It didn’t work for me. Perhaps because it was a breezy day that the power was gone and eventually it blew out the candle. It didn’t bother the cats.

There were several mosquitoes flying right by me so I brought the candle right by me but the mosquitoes stayed flying in front of me even with the candle right underneath them. Well I don’t think those landed on me but when I was still in the perimeter of the candle one mosquito landed on me.

Perhaps it would work better if the wind wasn’t blowing and I had lots and lots of candles in an enclosed area.

We live in South Florida and mosquitoes are a nuisance when outdoors. We purchased two of these repellent candles in hopes of a new defense. Lit both candles on our patio, went indoors to cook dinner.

Not only did the candles burn out (dispute the advertised “burns up to 40 hours”) but each had a dead bumblebee in the melted wax! We certainly are not interested in killing bees, found this reality very disheartening.

Lemongrass, I learned afterwards, actually attracts bees.

I cannot say enough good things about this mosquito repellent. We can now enjoy our outside patio into the late evening hours. And while sitting outdoors, and our doggies want to go in and out, these candles provide protection for the inside as well when we prop our patio door open.

I realize this is a mosquito repellent but we have noticed we now do not have the June bugs and moths either that we had been having. Interesting. I love it and will not be able to be without it.

Bought Home Defense every year since the late 90’s. Worked great no bugs, no issues. The last three bottles will drown a bug, but does not kill past that. Dump in ant holes, the ants are back in a day.

Spiders are not slowed down. Tried several other brands this year including scorpion killer. Still seeing Scorpions, ants, spiders, silver fish. Now it seems I am just buying Stinky water. Has the EPA or another authority forced a change? Was it accounting forcing the change?.

I’ve been using Ortho for about 3 years with mostly satisfied results. I live in an older home with a small garden in a city that has lots of cracks and other unknown entry ways for new friends. When I had kitchen ants, I sprayed it liberally on the kitchen floor without wiping and the issue was gone overnight and they never came back again.

Now, I spray down the floors and window sills (I have no children or pets to worry if this is the safest idea) every season and poured some into a direct sprayer to act as regular bug spray. I also use it in conjunction with foggers during a change of season just in case.

Cons: The handle NEVER lasts as long as the liquid so I eventually end up with half a gallon of the liquid that I have to pour on the floor or put in a spray bottle. Cons: This does not last as long as it says but, it is still effective if you keep up with it.

I’ve used many gallons of this product. I spray the perimeter in & out. I sprayed the entire patio & 24X60′ front porch. I buy the spray bottles & the refill bottles, Gallons of them. I buy the sales where you get the refills free.

I honestly & truthfully think I could drink a gallon of this product & feel no effects from it. It has almost no odor. It can be sprayed directly on bugs of ANY KIND with no effects shown. I can honestly say that the only dead bug of any kind seen after many many applications from year to year has been dead June bugs.

NO spiders, ants, centipedes, ticks, worms, mosquitoes, moths, fleas, roaches, crickets, lady bugs, etc. etc. I’ve never seen this product kill any insect OR seen dead insects around after its use other than June bugs.

I’ve drowned spiders with the product to watch them walk away. Not interested in refunds anymore, I’ve had plenty from ORTHO. I will never buy another ORTHO product & I hope you read this review & learn from it.
