20 Best Shaving Cream For Sensitive Skin Legs (2023 Updated)

AMAZING product. It really does work well. Some reviews on this seem a bit half-baked (maybe not, nothing works for everyone of course) because there are complaints that it doesn’t foam. Well, it specifically states that it’s non-foaming.

It really is more like a smooth and silky lotion. It takes a time or two to break the habit of preferring foam though, it’s kind of a trip (same thing if you use castile soap instead of shampoo and you’re used to things lathering).

It’s easier to see your legs though, and it’s actually preferable since you can see the hair underneath or anything you miss. It’s a lovely scent (I have all 4 and love them all almost equally) and moisturizes really well, it’s no joke people! This stuff is not hype!.

I have extremely sensitive skin that dries out easily, so I have to slather on tons of lotion after every shower. I was using a certain other company’s lotions (hint: they have lots of different scents), but I started to feel like the moisturizing component never lasted long enough and it always felt greasy to me.

Plus, I wanted to move to a product that is certified as cruelty-free and has a commitment to sustainability. I tried all the different eos body lotions and finally settled on Coconut Waters as my favorite scent.

It smells good without being over-powering, and it doesn’t make my skin smell funky after it’s been on for several hours (this was another issue I was having with the “other company’s” lotions). I absolutely LOVE how rich this lotion is, how well it absorbs into my skin, and how it never feels greasy after it’s applied.

Please don’t ever stop making this lotion!.

I usually have around half a dozen Ursa Major products in my skincare line-up and thought I’d give this a try due to the stellar reviews here on the site and despite my friend who used it telling me it was awful.

Well, I should have listened to my friend. This is the first UM product that just seems like a total flop. I also see here on the official site is the only place with overwhelmingly positive reviews, everywhere else it’s a more balanced story.

The smell is great but it’s thick like a paste. It clogs blades horribly so I hope you have great water pressure for rinsing or you’ll spend more time cleaning your razor than shaving. The lubrication and glide is awful.

One pass and it’s done. I have a thick beard and this was a miserable shaving experience. It also left my skin very red, irritated and dry. I went back to my Clinique for Men shave cream and gave this to my wife to try on her legs but she also hated it and threw it out.

A premium product like this shouldn’t require a special dance, a secret hand shake or oil underneath to work. It should just work, and for me, this didn’t at all. If I had gotten this anywhere other than directly from Ursa Major I would have thought it was a fake product.

One dud out of the bunch isn’t bad though, overall Ursa Major makes many of my favorites and hopefully someday they’ll make a better shave cream. I gave one additional star for the scent.

Your shave cream is one of my favorites, providing a smooth, good shave with excellent moisturizing. However, I have value issues. I have discovered in covid times, with less shaving, that the cream doesn’t last as well in the container as some others.

Tiny bits of grit appear in the cream when it ages. It is very difficult to get all of the cream out of the container. I feel like too much gets unused, especially for the price. Finally, I was disappointed to discover with my most recent purchase that the container size has shrunk.

It is by far the worst shame creme I’ve ever tried. It does not lather, dries up quickly, thereby drying the skin and making shaving quit difficult. You need to shave over the same spot multiple times, causing bad irritation.

Overall, by far the worst Ursa Major product (and I’ve tried many). Please stop selling this product, it’s bad for your brand – and I’m a big fan.

So I really tried liking this product. I’ll start with the pros. It does it’s job, works well as a shaving gel. There’s no strong smell and has nice gel consistency. It applies well and helps with getting a smooth shave.

The cons were that it does lather up as great as it is advertised. The later literally disappear when there’s too much moisture. So you would have to shave with the shower off or else the later starts to wash away.

For a product that costs almost 15$, I’d rather stick to soap.

Just got a can of the new formula. Why was the “perfume” added? The old formula said “lightly fragranced”. The new version is OVERPOWERING. I loved Foamy Menthol. Gillette dropped it. I liked Aloe and Lanolin.

Gillette dropped it. Now, the regular and sensitive have been “reformulated” to appeal to the crowd who most likely would use a gel. Guess Gillette wants us old timers to use another brand.

I use to purchase this shaving cream many years ago from the Dollar Tree when I first moved out on my own. I was on a very tight budget, and had to plan every dollar I spent. I was never a huge fan of this shaving cream back then, but it was cheap and it did the job.

Fast forward over a decade later and I decided to try it again as it had been so many years. I however still feel the same way about this shaving cream as I did many years ago. This shaving cream has a tendency to dry my legs out, and it doesn’t provide me with the closest shave.

This Pure Silk shaving cream is the best brand. This does not irritate my skin when I use it. I like the thick lather and consistency of this product. The smell is like a pleasant smell. My legs are moisturizing and silky after using.

It does not make shaving uncomfortable at all. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a sensitive formula and an affordable shaving cream.

Being a mom and on a budget this absolutely fits what I need. I have sensitive skin but this has never bothered me! Love the light fragrance and the way is leaves my skin smooth. The only con is that I wish that it was a little thicker or ‘soapier’.

So you pump a little bit of the gel and it’s enough to cover your arm. I like the feel and colour and smell. BUT I am SO disappointed that this caused such a horrible reaction on both my entire arms.

Firstly I like the colour scheme they have going for this particular product. It’s not overpowering bold in your face colours more gentle, relaxing and soothing which to me tries to highlight the sensitive side of the shaving gel.

I do prefer men’s shaving gels to women’s but decided to give it a try especially for its sensitive care claims. It’s not a bad shaving gel at all, the fragrance isn’t overpowering and it helps my razor to glide over my legs easy not leaving any nicks or cuts and once my legs are shaved they feel smooth and silky to the touch.

I appreciate that I don’t get a rash either when using this gel and I like how it starts out as a gel and works into a lather. There is minimal waste and the can lasts months for me.

I picked this shave gel based off the scent alone. We all have to admit shaving sometimes can be no easy task and seems daunting at times also. So why not feel like you’re on vacation while doing one of the regular things you do weekly.

The coconut scent of this shave Joe is pure perfection makes me feel like I’m in the Bahamas sipping a drink while watching the beach waves crash in. The gel itself expresses from the can easily And creates a rich luxurious cream theme for which to apply to your legs.

I’m usually very picky because I have sensitive skin but I’ve had no issues with this brand or that’s brand or the use of the scent on my body. 10 out of 10 would recommend even if just for a brief vacation in the bathtub.

My favorite for years. The drip cuff is the way to go so you don’t get a wet shirt or arms. It’s got an excellent fit/length that’s not too snug. Also the strength/weight is an excellent balance between being heavy enough for more serious cleaning and/or definitely won’t be getting a hole in these anytime soon to being flexible enough to take care of small item things.

Good morning all, On a whim I purchased a tube of Barbasol Pre-Shave Face Wash. I tried it a few times, following the directions to use a small amount, wash and rinse. This was a bit odd to me since the tube says it “promotes razor glide” and I wondered how it would do that after being rinsed off.

After 2-3 tries I wasn’t overly impressed. didn’t have any negative effects but didn’t seem to do what it claimed it was meant to do. I figured I’d use it up then never buy again. But then I had the idea to apply as directed but not rinse it off.

Rather, at the end of my shower, I use it, leave it on, get out, apply lather over the top and go to work. Today was my second day doing that and I have gotten great shaves. So, has anyone else tried this? What is your opinion? Just curious to know if I’m all alone on this one.

These are good overall dish and cleaning gloves, they are very affordable and relatively sturdy for most cleaning jobs. I buy mine at Walmart. They do wear out fast through weekly use and that’s a drawback.

At first use I was a bit turned off with how much shaving cream I needed to use to coat my face. However, after I completed my first shave I was extremely happy with the total lack of razor burn or ingrown hairs.

This stuff just works. My face feels great after shaving with this product. I have sensitive skin and I don’t feel any burn at all after using this cream.

I started using Everyman Jack’s face wash pre-shave and face lotion after shave but was using another brand for my shaving gel. I was happy with the other products I was using from Everyman Jack, so I decided to give their shave gel a try.

With Everyman Jack menthol shave gel, I have been getting a smooth shave and afterwards my skin has felt refreshingly cool. I will continue to use this line of products!.

I have used Natural Hemp Shave Cream three times now, and it is fantastic shave cream! It definitely leaves my feeling less irritated and smoother!! I have other shaving cream, including Sandalwood, so I switch off.

I’ve tried many shave creams over the years and find Everyman Jack to be the very best. As someone with sensitive skin, the fact that there is no scent added to this is very important. The resulting smooth shave that I get is also better than what I got with other brands.

This is now my go to shave cream.
