Best Shao Kahn Variation Mk(2024 Updated)

First off people cry about resolution, I have played this on ps4 and it looks a little better, that does me no good at my daughters doctor appointments, or at work, or when the tv is being used by family.

If your worried about graphics then buy an xbox one x the worlds most powerful system, or pc the only machines in the world that run 4k, not even the ps4 pro hits 4k not one game. I play MK11 offline like 1 on1 or story then when online it uploads my progress i still get rewards.

Towers u can play offline but get no rewards. people at work that have ps4 say this looks and plays great on switch, I got mine in the middle of july mabey they had updates between release and when I bought.

I play 50/50 tv handheld. I was expecting a knock off game from other reviews. I was blown away. if u only play on tv u will get a little better graphics on base xbox one, ps4 more on ps4 pro, and most on xbox one x like all games look and play best on xbox one x.

I grew up playing Mortal Kombat deadly alliance and I was expecting a game sort of along the same lines. Some butt kicking with a little bit of blood. This is NOT THAT. I bought intending to play with my 10-year-old, but there’s no way I’m letting him play this game.

It’s REALLY graphic and there’s a ton of guns, which was not a feature of the Mortal Kombat of my youth. Two stars because there are some similar features that I remembered from the older games, and the graphics are decent.

This is another great game in the series as it brings back familiar characters and several new ones to the roster. NetherRealm usually delivers on the story as they have been and it is fun, but I would say only one playthough.

Some chapters have two different characters you can play as, but not much changes other than dialogue. The gameplay has changed quite a bit: matches have slowed down, no X-rays but instead krushing blows and fatal blows, and you can customize characters now.

Although, not to the extent of Injustice 2, each character has three customizable slots and skins you can choose from. A lot of the skins are simply different colors. It now includes an extensive tutorial to help you understand the fundamentals and advance your skills.

The krypt is a nice addition in which you play in third person and walk around opening chests for new fatalities, brutalities, gear, et cetera. Gameplay being the most important thing in a fighting game, I will say more about it.

Meter works differently as there are two for offensive and another two for defensive. Offensive can be used to amplify moves for more damage or to extend a combo; defensive is used for wake-up attacks, rolling, and breaking away from a combo in midair.

Other mechanics do use use both so you have to be weary and keep an eye on the meter when you want to spend it. Fatal blows which are the new X-rays are not available until your health is at about 30% and are basically there for you to be able to make a comeback.

The gameplay within a match does feel like it has slowed down, but I would it is for the better. In a way, it forces you to not mash buttons and be smart about when and how to approach your opponent.

The details are very realistic. However, the articulations are stiff. Overall, it’s amazing!!

I’m not spending $50 on a box with a paper code in it so I can download this game. I wanted the FULL game on a cart. I’m not a fan of digital downloads, I am old school and want physical media. It appears that this is the only way to get this game.

That means I won’t be getting this game until they release it on a cartridge. When I discovered what was going on, I returned this before even leaving the store. I’ve been a fan of Mortal Kombat for a long time.

I was really looking forward to enjoying this game. Not recommending because I dislike digital downloads. Also rating 1 star for the same reason.

Not for children. Let’s face it, a rating doesn’t prevent kids from getting hold of this. Very gory, lots of blood, and body dismemberment seen in the short video clips. Honestly a little too much of this.

Fighters react and fight well in competition mode. Graphics are incredible. Fatality moves at the end of the fight are as cool as they have always been. I would give it a 5 star, but they are pushing too far with the horror and gore stuff in the story line video clips.

It’s simply not necessary. At least with the fatality move, you are choosing to take it to the next level.

Aftermath is a much improved update to Mortal Kombat 11. Being a huge fan of Mortal Kombat XL, I was a little let down by the game play and story for MK11. I was slightly hesitant to pay for Aftermath after being disappointed by the first installment, but the character DLCs sold me enough to give it a try.

After jumping into story mode for Aftermath, I was immediately having more fun. The characters they make you use were much better and for whatever reason the game itself just felt less clunky. If you’re on the fence, I’d say its worth a try.

If you hated 11, maybe not.

I’ve never even been a huge fan of Mortal Kombat (or fighting games in general) but I did a lot is research on what PS5 game I wanted to buy for myself with my PS5 – which took weeks to finally get one.

And I chose MK! The reason being is mainly because all other PS5 titles looked super boring to me first of all – dark souls gameplay looks miserable and dull, I am really not into spider man and never have been, not really into call of duty or shooters either but at least that looked interesting, and the sackboy game looked too childish to be fun.

I’ll be honest I have been hugely disappointed with the PS5 game titles thus far – but one quick look at Mortal Kombat changed that for me instantly!! Check out the MK gameplay videos – it looks absolutely fantastic for a fighting game / the Story mode plays out just like a movie!! Super impressive job they have done.

Like I mentioned earlier, I have never been a huge fan of fighting games in general and I have played a lot of previous Mortal Kombat games but NONE of them feel like this one – this game is epic and fun!! I would certainly recommend! I’ll add one thing though that’s worth noting : the combos and controls are very difficult to Learn and Land – and if you are a “noob” such as myself when it comes to fighter games – the learning curve MAY possibly be too high to actually get good enough at the game to be able to fully enjoy it.

I’m trying my best, but it is still too hard, and realistically as much fun as I have with the game and it’s visual appeal, most likely I will give up and shelf the game before ever learning and taking the time that is required to get good at it.

it’s just a bit too challenging for me unfortunately! Which is too bad because the game looks absolutely amazing and I would love to be good at it! I’m just not haha. So be careful if you aren’t good at fighters it is not an easy one in my opinion – in comparison DBZ FighterZ is significantly easier to play for me than MK! For reference.

Neatherealms have truly out performed themselves in every aspect when it comes to this game, just know my list of positive feedback could go on for days ( however won’t compare graphics to previous installments because it wouldn’t be fair).

1. The initial teaser trailer, with 21 savage playing in the background, was absolutely jaw dropping. The follow – up official 1st trailer was even greater. 2. The fighting style is the greatest the franchise has yet to offer.

3. The characters all feel like the true versions we’ve come to grow up with and love. Even more so with great one liners exchange between every kombatant, incredible entrances for everyone and not one fighter is ever boring or just there to fill up a roster.

4. All the guest characters more than prove why they deserve your attention and money: Robocop, Nightwolf, Teminator T – 800, Joker and etc. all deliver something special and unique from their part as well.

5. They even paid 4 actors from the original 1995 movie to reprise their characters! (using their voices of course) Neatherealms could’ve stopped there and made a solid A- material game, but of course their unwavering commitment to go beyond anyways expectations make MK11 stand out as a contender to be greatest Mortal Kombat ever crafted, and one of the greatest games of the year.

If I could give this game 10 stars I would more than gladly do so. (Btw Robocop has the most stupendous fatality, check it out).

Mortal Kombat 11 does a lot of things really well. The graphics, presentation, attention to detail, and general production quality are all top-notch. The game features a solid amount of single-player content, including a decent story mode, which is lacking in many fighting games.

The developers did a lot of the “little things” really well, including the huge amount of character dialogue intros before each match. It’s clear this game was a labor of love from the developers. However, the actual fighting still feels “clunky” as it has in previous installments.

There’s just something about the animations that, while visually attractive, don’t feel fluid a lot of the time. Bottom line is that if you’re a fan of the series, you’ll find plenty to like here. However, if you’re someone that hasn’t been a fan of the fighting engine in previous games, don’t expect that to change with this title.

Great game I found the story to be a lot better than Mortal Kombat x due to the main villain being more interesting and being more fun to fight against as the final boss. I also found some of the new characters introduced in Mortal Kombat X to be more likable.

With some of the classic character we all know and love. I also found the overall plot generally be a lot more interesting than it was in Mortal Kombat X. I would definitely recommend Aftermath DLC once you finish the main story due to the fact you get to play as characters that weren’t in the main story, and you get an alternative ending.

The gameplay is also as good or if not better than the last two Mortal Kombat.

Ok, first of all, let me say this. If you like Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, specifically the arcade version, you’ll like this just as much, as it’s a well-emulated version of that game. It’s like playing UMK3 on MAME.

You can’t access the switches or anything, and the attract mode is unviewable, but it’s the same game. If you want UMK3 on the go, and you can probably find this in the $10-$20 range, you needn’t read any further, you already know whether you want this or not.

For the rest of you, read on. Mortal Kombat gets a lot of hate nowadays. It doesn’t play very much like any of Capcom or SNK’s games. It’s not meticulously balanced, the characters are largely palette swaps, the special moves are often cryptic and you’ll never just figure out the finishing moves through practice, all their normal moves are identical, and the AI can be demonic.

It’s not taken seriously in the fighting game community, and the post-MKT games strayed away from 2D and never looked back. However, if you take it in with an open mind, as a game to play with a friend, forgetting the standards of the genre and even ignoring that it’s a 2D fighting game, you’ll find it’s still pretty fun.

It’s just very far removed from the norm. For UMK3 vets wondering what this port has over previous releases, I’ll go ahead and tell all now. The most obvious difference is the inclusion of Puzzle Kombat.

To be blunt, it’s largely a blatant rip-off of Puzzle Fighter. It’s that game, with an overly large playing field, no power gems, some special attacks, and generally a lot less depth and a poor presentation.

If you like it, good. I’m a big puzzle game fan, my favorites including Tetris Attack, Puyo Puyo, Wario’s Woods, Dr. Mario, and Yoshi’s Cookie, and I’d say Puzzle Kombat is one of the worst I’ve played.

It’s awkward and boring. You can display either game on the top or bottom screen. The unused screen in UMK3 will show you some special moves. I say “some”, because unfortunately the list is hardly all inclusive.

It’s very helpful and better than nothing, but one notable example is that Sub-Zero’s ice clone isn’t listed. None of Shang Tsung’s tranformations are, and when he transforms (and when Smoke becomes Human Smoke for that matter), the move list doesn’t change.

The manual is, in a word, worthless. New players will attempt Animalities to no avail, as there is no mention of Mercy whatsoever. The finishers are listed, but you’ll still have to guess the distance.

New players wouldn’t even know any of this, as the game mechanics are almost entirely unexplained. Single card play is present, but be warned, it’s a joke. Only Kitana, Jade, Reptile, and Scorpion are playable.

Yes, that’s really it, four characters, and not even Sub-Zero. The second screen doesn’t even display the moves. It’s a glorified demo. I haven’t done multi-card, but I’d assume it would play like single-player and online play with no differences.

Online play is good. You can even do Kombat Kodes, but since there’s no way to communicate, you’ll probably never activate any with a random player. The community isn’t very big, and it’s mostly hardcore players who will punish every opening and ruin new players in seconds.

Of course, playing online with a friend is always an option. SNES and Genesis UMK3 fans should know that Motaro, Shao Kahn, Noob Saibot, and Rain aren’t playable in this version. Sadly, Midway didn’t add in a training mode.

There’s minimal new content here, but if you love UMK3, buy it!.

This is pretty much an exact replica of the arcade version of Mortal Kombat 3. Fluid controls help this play excellent. The sound is good, the music is good even better with earphones. Makes me wish to return to the time when you could go to a local arcade and place a quarter on the placate to say I got next game.

A huge step up from previous fighting games for the Nintendo gameboy\ds systems. Highly recommended.

It takes me back to a nostalgic trip just playing this game. One of the best classic MK games and has the puzzle Kombat. I love this game thanks for helping me relieve old memories

This game is A LOT harder than I remember as a kid. Even when I put it on an easier setting, I cannot get past the first few matches. It is fun to play against another person though, just wish there were more characters available from the start.

The cartridge was is fine condition, even though it was labeled “cosmetically flawed” when I selected the condition to order, it works completely fine and looks like thirty-something year old game should.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 just arrived in the mailbox! I’ve always wanted this game, now I finally have it. I intentionally bought the “cosmetically flawed” game pak. The rear came cracked and the front label was faded.

However, I can create new labels and I also have spare “Nintendo” shells on standby. Within 10 minutes I had a brand-new Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3! Thank you, DKoldies, for the chance to own this game!.

This game was great its the closest to the MK trilogy later released on N64 and PS1. This has some really great fatalities as well as friendships. This game for me is from Mortal Kombats golden era. Don’t like 10 or 11, fighting feels more stiff and I also don’t like how Warner Bros are handling the series.

Anyway games great, product is exactly as described. Will be ordering more great snes titles soon.

A great improvement to the previous MK game. This collection has all the DLC ever released, so this is the Ultimate buy. The gameplay is as you might know if you have played the previous MK game, but you can see the improvements in graphics and detail.

The DLC is worth the price and the characters are the best so far. Solid game, great price, hours of fun.

Love this double oven. Only had it for two weeks but it fits well in my kitchen and works well. I’ve used both the upper and lower ovens and they work as expected. Used different temps in the ovens which reduced my cooking time.

Planning to use it for Christmas meal for the family. Only concern is it sticks out about 2 inches from my cabinets because of the non-tilt feature.

Mortal combat Ultimate addition is the Bomb! Unlimited fighting. You got the time, they have the characters! Expansive game play! What are you waiting on? Get this game!

The shipping was fast and reasonably priced. The DVD itself is a value. It works perfectly. I’m extremely happy with this purchase. I love these movies. I’m so glad I was able to get them on DVD. The movies aren’t necessarily “good” but they’re good for the genre, as a movie adaptation of a game and entertaining as hell.

In the movie Mortal Kombat and MK: Annihilation the battle of good vs. evil was just a magnet which pulled you in and kept you watching. The acting was great and the special effects were good. You get martial arts, ninjas, villians.

The villiansof the Outworld just want to rule, dominant and destroy the world, but it was not going to easy. MK: Annihilation picks up were MK ended and the Outworld villains are back for revenge, and determined to release hell on earth, but again there is a warrior who will not let it happen.

The two movies are action packed.

I bought this DVD for my daughter’s boyfriend for Christmas. I didn’t get to receive it on the day we exchanged gifts; however, I did receive it before they left and upon finding it out without completely opening the box what it was, I made him finish opening it.

He was thrilled that he got it, because it was one of the items on his Christmas list but super estatic when he found out that it contained both Mortal Kombats I and II. His expression was that of a little boy in a Toy Store, hahaha.

(before I begin, I’d like to apologize if I have any typos or errors posted in my previous and future reviews. ) Mortal Kombat 3 is a game that you either love it or hate. personally, I love it. but then again, I love the old school MK games far more than what’s out right now or coming out next year.

I guess that has to deal with the fact that John Tobias is no longer involved and it just wont be the same without him regardless on how good the later games get. to me, Mortal Kombat 3 is a game I loved as a kid and I still love today.

it introduce me to Cyber Smoke which is still one of my most favorite characters in the entire franchise, and the story was and still is done rather well. sure, I think UMK 3 on the snes has better characters, but MK3 does have more levels.

while I find the 3 MK3 type games (MK3, UMK3, & MKT) to be a solid 3 act story, the snes versions to me at least are both equal. I’d say give both MK3 & UMK3 a shot since even after 20 years they’re still awesome games.

Words can’t express the way I feel when a website like this exists to be able to find games when I use to play when I was little and bring back the memories I had. These guys made it possible to reclaim those memories I had with my brother playing UN squadron and the fact that the game was in such good condition it was a bonus and came in such a reasonable time.

So I tilt my hat to these guys for such great and awesome service to not only deliver great quality but to reminisce on old times and bring them back to me and my brother. Thank you and big thumbs up 👍👍👍.

Where to start? This is the best fighting video game of its era! I can’t remember where I was when presidents were elected, when natural disasters happened, nor when my own birthdays came, but I remember where I was when I first played this game.

I remember going to the store, the store, the ride home just looking at the box, the day of the week it was, and the room and tv I first played it in/on. This game along with Mortal Kombat 2 sucked me into video gaming.

The gameplay, character controls, the special moves the characters could do, and the show stopping capabilities of the FATALITIES, oh the FATALITIES, made this game and series one of the best. This particular game added the use of the six-button controller, detail such as flying paper in an empty street, the run feature, and more playable characters for the choosing.

The only thing this game lacked was more fatalities! You can’t get enough of them in this game! This game continued to include you in the story with the background of the characters and how they tie into the Mortal Kombat story.

A great game to own and play.
