20 Best Shampoo For Hair Fall For Men (2023 Updated)

I received Kerastase Densifique Bain Densite Shampoo as part of a free sample program in exchange for my honest opinion. There are not a lot of shampoos I can sample because most have a harsh surfactant that I am allergic to.

Fortunately for me, this one did not have it. I was impressed with the thick creamy shampoo. The packaging was not my favorite because I prefer a pump for ease of use, but it wasn’t terrible. The directions say use a quarter size dollop, and that wasn’t going to work for my long hair.

But it has a nice, thick lather that I appreciated. The scent was not overwhelming and felt luxurious. I loved the way my hair felt afterwards as well. I am 5 months postpartum and am struggling with hair loss.

This product definitely made my hair feel a bit more full after just one use. I only shampoo about 2-3xs a week so I believe it would have been an even bigger difference if I shampooed more frequently.

Overall, I like the product and would definitely buy and recommend to others.

I received this product as part of a free trial, and my opinions are my own. I love the packaging. The large mouth on the top makes it nice to store upside down in my shower caddy, which helps me get all the product out.

The scent is nice, and the formula feels much like most high-end shampoos. I really enjoy a luxurious lather, and this does not disappoint. I have waist-length hair, and in order to get a good lather from root to tip, I have to use three times as much shampoo as the average person.

I shampoo twice to ensure my hair is clean. With the second wash I get even more lather. I have not, however, noticed any change in the density or thickness of my hair after one use. I have thinning hair at the top of my crown.

I was only allotted enough time to use the product once within my normal wash schedule before posting a review, so I cannot report on the claims of thickening my hair. But my hair feels very clean and has nice body.

After having two boys the front of my hairline just never came back like it was and the overall thickness of my hair just felt like it was lacking. I received this shampoo as part of a free sample program and prayed to the hair gods that it would help at least the front of my hair out.

I gave it a two week trial and now Im a believer in Keratstase. The Densifique shampoo plumped, volumized , and moisturized without weighting my hair down. I have oily scalp and this moisturized but I didn’t immediately have to wash my hair the next day bc it gave just the right amount of moisture.

The shampoo seemed to make my hair thicker to even the point when I styled it it felt like I was working with more hair to style. I have a mini bob and you can’t be flat with styling it and this shampoo gave me the plump I needed to be able to style my hair easier.

If you’re looking for an easy fix to post-partum thinning then definitely give Kerastase Densifique a whirl!.

This is absolutely amazing this product smells great and makes your hair look and smell like a king of the woods. It definitely makes you feel like a lumberjack. I highly recommend you go out and get yourself some and use it everyday for life!!!!!.

I do love using there bar soaps such as pine tar I thought I would give it a try on there shampoo and there Conditioner since I’ve be so proud of the smell and result of the bar of soap but I was only disappointed the shampoo seemed to have a slime feel and would barley lather and couldn’t even run my fingers through my hair while using as for the Conditioner made my hair dry and break at the edges I’m all for the natural ingredients but I have a strong feeling there shampoo and Conditioner is everything but natural.

My hair type is thin, less volume and damaged hair. I am super picky for my hair shampoo stuff. I bought the same 200ml shampoo and conditioner in December. After using, I realized I only need shampoo(good enough to make my hair look smooth and shinny without stick to my scalp).

Then I bought the 1000ml shampoo. It can last for a while. I recommend using the shampoo twice. The first time, it will remove extra oil of ur hair. and cant feel too much bubbles. rinse and put another one.

massage ur scalp throughly. the bubbles will come up with full amount. Most important, rinse ur hair long enough till u can’t feel hair is fake slippery. After drying ur hair, u will feel it is shinny, real slippery and great volume I have been using it for 2months now.

I feel it helps reduce my hair loose and keeps my hair in good volume looking.

This shampoo feels very gentle, soothing and kind to the scalp and hair. Texture is rich, creamy and lathers well throughout the hair. Hair is easy to brush and untangle, after drying feels soft and full of moisture, looks healthy and shiny.

There is not difference in volume and thickness. This shampoo made my hair more flat and smooth. The fragrance is too strong in my opinion and sharp to the nose, however hair after drying smells fresh and clean.

I would recommend.

Ok I have used Aveda before and loved their products but this one must be faulty because this is not a shampoo. It does not lather and will not clean your hair. I must admit I am confused. I have oily thin hair, I need the shampoo to cut the oil and clean the scalp, well this does not do that.

Used as directed it left my hair oily had to rewash with my regular shampoo and start again. No fun. This feel like it should be conditioner. Did I get the wrong product?.

This product is the truth. My hair stopped shedding and the itching stopped also it stopped thing out. My hair grew back and the spot on my front head that you could see through to my scalp is covered by hair that grew back.

The stem cell shampoo and conditioner are absolutely fabulous. I have no irritation and the shampoo and conditioner do not interfere with my salon hair straightener. I highly recommend them both.

The headline is serious. This stuff smells amazing. Sometimes I like to just lean over, press my face into his cheek, and breathe. It smells SO good I may switch him over to the full line just so he will continue smelling like this product.

It is also very moisturizing, like many men he grew a depression beard in 2020 while at home and hasn’t had one during our relationship because I never liked how scratchy it was so I figured if he was going to have one now, it was in my best interest to make sure it was taken care of.

Smells more like chocolate mint chip ice cream than tea trea. I’ve never believed Every Man Jack to be high grade products, but they’ve done a nosedive recently. I tried the first one years ago, admittedly because I like the packaging.

Now that’s been runied too. Just cheap looking labels instead of silkscreen. What’s really important are the contents. They say “Naturally Derived,” but I’m suspicious it’s not 100%, every thing I’ve tried this year has the same noxious chemical stench as most laundry detergent.

This sugary smelling dreck smells just as bad as OGX Tea Tree Mint.

Saw this at Target and thought my husband would like it since he has a long and thick beard. His beard was getting a little rough so I thought this might help soften it. He’s been using it for a month now and OMG.

The smell is addicting and his beard is softer than before. I would literally buy this for him again just so that I can selfishly smell it on him everyday.

I’ve always had hair issues, but since April I’ve been shedding like crazy. Maybe it’s covid stress (and personal stress). I’ve been going to the dermatologist and got steroid shots in my scalp, prescription for blood pressure meds (supposed to help) and even some steroid foam for the scalp that you use 2 weeks on and then skip a week.

I even spent $2400 on that procedure where they take your blood plasma and shoot it into the scalp, which only works about 75% of the time (lucky me. I’m in the losing percentage). Actually – after doing that 4 times (@$600 a pop) my hair loss was WORSE.

I had a very slow start on my hair growth journey, as initially, the LED lights from the helmet caused my eyes to hurt, even though I had closed them during the session. I now use 2 pairs of sunnies over top a sleep mask.

For whatever reason, my eyes were extremely sensitive to that type of light. However, I was so determined to try and make it work! So, I have probably not been using the helmet quite a month, yet. The shampoo and conditioner are very nice, but my hair is a little dry, so I must alternate them with other products.

I am going to reorder the 3-in-one vitamin, and may order the hair serum, as well. My hair has not quit shedding, but it has not gotten any worse, either. Lastnight, I even noticed that short hair was coming in all around my hairline.

I really love the i-restore pro helmet and my vitamins, and am feeling quite hopeful!.

My Hair Is Growing. !!!!!! This product is amazing. I have been loosing my fine thin hair, both parents had genetic thininng, for 5 year now. I actually bought 2 wigs to wear. My hairdresser told me about Xen.

After only 2 week my hairline stared growing. Now I have hair sticking up all over after 2 months. It is AMAZING!!!! I will never stop using it. I am taking pics every 3 weeks or so to show my progress.

I shampoo my hair and wear a cap for at least an hour 3 times a week. I say the longer the better. Great product!!!!.

I use the Zenagen Revolve Shampoo and Conditioner. I have thinning hair and it is the best product for my hair and has stopped it falling out. I shampoo every other day. On the off days I use Fekkai Volume Shampoo or Aveeda Volume shampoo.

Zenagen has helped save my remaining hair!.

This thing alone works wonders. All you have to do is put this on damp hair and blow dry, and you’ll see the difference. It’s freaking amazing. It smells good too. After you blow dry, you’ll see some ridiculously improved volume.

I’m going to be using this instead of the other expensive stuff. I’m serious, if you have fine hair, use this and you won’t regret it. I don’t usually write reviews, so this means a lot. Also, you don’t need the three step system.

You just need this. Just put it on after you come out the shower or after dampening your hair and then blow dry.

I’m a woman but saw these products and thought why not? If they can work for men they can work for me too! They’re fantastic! Really made my hair feel thicker and more full and even healthier. When I ran out and used a different shampoo and conditioner my hair definitely felt different.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! I got it for free in a recent Voxbox and tried it twice and I flat out refuse to use it again. I have fairly dry skin and the second I this on my skin it set my scalp on fire. I was instantly scrabbling to wash it out! I looked at the ingredients and THIS IS AN ALCOHOL BASED PRODUCT.

It’s also full of acids, silicones, and parfum. Also, despite being branded “with castor oil”, it is the last ingredient on the ingredients list. Basically, a bunch if crap that is TERRIBLE for your skin/scalp.

I’ll say it again; for the love of god, DO NOT BUY THIS.

I have used Redken for 30 years. it seems like no matter which formula I like, they discontinue it. I used to use Go Clean and I liked it. When L’OREAL bought the brand, the quality suffered. Redken Brews Daily was not good and I thought all hope was lost.

Then I tried the Extra Clean and lived it for years. Now it’s discontinued and they recommend this scented water. It even says it’s lightweight which is fine if you have normal hair and work in an office.

But if you exercise or have even slightly oily hair, this is not for you!.

This is my most favorite shampoo. It moisturizes, lathers and softens my hair like no other. I use it three times a week to maintain cleanliness and balance. It’s quite thick so you just need a small amount and the product will last quite a long time.

The mint fragrance is very light which I like very much. I like this better that the other Redkin shampoos or other popular hair products such as Pureology, Aveeda or Matrix. I haven’t noticed any negative effects of this in my color treated hair while using this shampoo.

Very happy with this nourishing cleanser. This is highly recommended if you are looking for a shampoo to retain moisture in your hair.

Very nice shampoo. The scent is nice and sure it does what it needs to no but where it really shines is the lather, this not one of those phosphate free shampoos where you feel like you are washing your hair with pure water.

The other is the tingling sensation that your scalp experiences. Plus the butter looks like bottle of beer, can’t go wrong with that!.

Firstly I never do reviews – this has gotta be my first. I also read and take reviews with a grain of salt as most seem too good to be true. So trust that this review is legit. I purchased the shampoo (double strength) only two weeks ago, after taking propecia and regain for quite few years in an effort to reduce my thinning hair.

I’d decided to stop with the alternatives due to money, and what felt like a losing battle. Not long after, I experience at rapid shed, and essentially resigned to the fact I was gonna become a nude nut in the not to distant future.

After seeing the adverts for alpecin, then noticing it in the shop for a fraction of the costs of the previous treatments is had, I decided to give it a crack – after all I thought what’s the worst that could happen, my hair won’t grow back but atleast what’s left of it would be squeaky clean.

Now comes the best part – after using the shampoo every morning for the last two weeks, I legit have thicker nicer healthy hair. But it’s not just me noticing. My wife and colleagues at work have mentioned it on seperate occasions! I’m astounded but how well it works.

And genuinely can say this is not snake oil! If your going bald, and not cool about it then grab some of this! I wouldn’t call it hair in a can but it’s the best thing I’ve used with results in such a short time.

This product along with the Energizer which I used for a year and a half smells lovely. But that’s it. In terms of curtailing hair loss it failed to do that. My hair grows naturally fast so I did not use it for this reason,I just wanted to give cleaning up after my hair shedding a break.

Summertime it’s when I loose the most hair, but after so long my hair was becoming dry, brittle and course like straw with no shine. I was told by the company that distributes Alpecin to use Plantur.

Plantur didn’t improve the dryness of the hair and was much more expensive than Alpecin and I didn’t like the smell. So after several months of Plantur I returned to Alpecin. For the record I don’t have genetic issues of hair loss, I am not menopausal, (I have a good hormonal count) and I have no health problems or stress issues that could cause this, but 2 years ago I started seeing long strands of hair everywhere.

I am tired of removing hairs from everything. I am posting this review to alert others that despite the clinical studies that Alpecin provides on their site there are many articles that questions whether caffeine in hair loss products actually work.

In fact Alpecin double blind test has been questioned but never been put to bed as conclusive. It appears that people believing the hype is what helps sell the product more than actual evidence that it does what it says.

But be aware that Alpecin strips your wallet of alot of cash and leaves your scalp dry and your hair lacklustre and coarse. I am now several months back onto my normal shampoo and conditioner, I am not losing any more or less than usual but at least the shine in the hair is returning and the hair is softer.

Plus the scalp itching has now almost stopped as I have been putting up with that as long as I have been using Alpecin (the scalp was stripped of it’s oils which is what the caffeine does). I feel foolish in believing the hype and parting with so much money.

I would have been better off putting hot manure on my head and believing that would stop hair loss, the only difference that unlike the Alpecin it wouldn’t have smelled as nice but at least it would have been free.

This is a great product when used with scalp massage and other therapies e. g. if males are being treated for benign enlargement of the prostate, with Dutasteride (a common enough situation), Alpecin shampoo is an excellent additional stimulus for hair regeneration, even where previously there has been almost complete baldness.

The regime with Alpecin works best if a hot shower is used to gently open pores on the head, before application of a small quantity of shampoo (not too hot). This should be left for 2-3 minutes, which is easily achieved in showering, by concentrating on other body wash tasks before rinsing out the shampoo.

I was almost completely bald from forehead back to behind the crown but now have fine dark hair, which is gradually thickening and this is partly due to gently massaging in Alpecin each morning for 2-3 minutes.

Since I started using this product, a friend has asked me if I had a hair transplant and several others have commented on the noticeable improvement in hair growth and density. The process is a slow win; Alpecin should be used over a 2-3 year regime, to see the best results.

There is no magic in these things, a regular regime with Alpecin that stimulates scalp blood flow through circular massage with finger tips and smooth finger nail action, givesbest results.

I bought this product because I wanted to try an all-natural shampoo that would also help nourish my scalp. I am very happy with the purchase – smells great, nice colour (+ bottle looks great!). The only reason this isn’t a 5/5 star is that the shampoo is quite liquidy which makes it feel like you aren’t using enough shampoo to clean well (even though you are!).

That said, IT DOES CLEAN REALLY WELL and freshly.

I can feel it tingle where my hair has been going away. I have noticed that where my hair was thinning is starting to be the same thickens as the hair on the side of my head. Seems like it will work but again you can’t expect changes immediately.
