Natural Dog Company never ceases to amaze me with amazing products. My girl has been dealing with itchy skin for 2 years and even prescription shampoo didn’t help. When I saw the Itchy Dog Shampoo I had to try it since we absolutely can’t live without the Natural Dogs Paw Soother, Wrinkle Balm, Snout and Skin Soother and it has resolved my girls itchy skin problem while making her coat silky soft.

We are so excited to see NDC on Chewy! We have been using NDC products since Zeus was a puppy. He has always had crazy allergies, both food and seasonal, and not only can he tolerate NDC products, but he loves them! They have greatly improved his quality of life.

From the shampoo, all the way down to the nose, wrinkle and paw balms. He loves to be pampered with NDC and literally snores through his pampering sessions. And now, we have puppy #2!.

I was a little skeptical about the price for this size bottle until after I washed my guy. It took much less shampoo and lathered up so much more than my usual brand. He came out so soft, smooth, and smelling awesome.

He also didn’t immediately go scrub his belly on the door rug and hasn’t done so since I started using the kit. Pretty impressive shampoo. I see this bottle lasting twice as long as my other brand making it a worthwhile purchase.

I’m really big on natural ingredients and this stuff has EVERYTHING I could ask for and more! My fur baby is suffering with food allergies and even tho I jus discovered it’s her chicken based kibbles, the product relieved her itchy skin.

I haven’t had the product but a few weeks but I love that it’s hydrating enough and look forward to the benefits it brings now that I’ve switched to a raw diet without Chicken! Thank you guys for all your efforts to ensure fur babies are getting the best for many issues! I’ll be purchasing the salmon oil next for her coat and immune system! This shampoo lathers up very nicely! Definitely gets all the dirt and yucky smell out of the dogs fur. It smells like oatmeal cookies when you bathe the dog, but the smell doesn’t last long. I feel like when the dog is dry, they kind of just smell like dog, not a dog that just got a bath in the yummy shampoo.

They don’t smell bad, just not like the shampoo.

Pretty sure our Golden was suffering from an allergy to his previous shampoo. This one has been a game changer! We have noticed a lot less dandruff and flaking, as well as less scratching since we switched.

It smells delicious and that’s always a plus! We will definitely continue adding it to our Amazon shopping list.

I am not sure if it’s the way it is processed. But, it seems way better than other brands I have purchased! My bulldog has allergies really bad, and she’s sensitive to certain kinds. Even though, it’s oatmeal this one has had no reactions, it makes her skin, and coat super soft.

I highly recommend this! A friend of mine, her dog has really rough fur! She used some of mine then went, and bought her own because of how much she liked it!.

Let me begin by stating that I have been on a quest for an in-between bath spray to keep their coats conditioned. We have two standard poodles, George and Kate. I am not a professional groomer, but have been grooming since George was young (now 4).

Our pups get groomed every 4 weeks, but brushed every day. So we need something to keep their coast smelling and feeling good. After quite some time in going through products, this one seems to work the best.

The scent can be overpowering at first, but when worked into their coat, it becomes milder. Just be careful not to spray too close to the muzzle as it did make George uncomfortable. Thus, the 4 stars rather than a full 5.

Time will tell as we use it more. So far, great product.

We have Labrador Retievers and Portuguese Podengo Pequenos and we do dog shows. I’ve tried a ton of other product lines. Most products (even those specifically marked for wire or coarse coat breeds) left our dogs’ coats much too soft (even washing 3-5 days before a show), didn’t rinse well without a lot of elbow grease (even with diluting), left the dogs with dandruff (dry skin), and didn’t smell all that nice either.

While the Isle of Dogs products are a bit on the spendy side, they’re worth every penny!! Simply nothing compares to these products!! They smell good without a heavy perfume odor, rinse cleanly without a lot of work (and without dilution so no messy mixing), and I can use them as often as I need (even weekly- though only on rare occasions) without drying out their skin (no dandruff) and at almost any time without losing too much natural coat texture (even the night before a show).

The Royal Jelly is my “go to”, but I have also used the Coarse Coat (mainly for the wire-coated Pequenos) and Black Coat (helps to take brassiness out of our shedding chocolate Labradors) as well as various other IoD grooming/styling products (Thicken, Royal Jelly Supplement, brush sprays, etc).

Highly recommend these products!! Every IoD vendor I’ve ever spoken with has never had to actively promote these products (hand out flyers, take out ads, etc). They’ve always been able to sell right from their booth and/or website simply by “word of mouth”- with good reason! They are the showing world’s best kept secret!!.

I love love love this but my dog does not. It makes his VERY long hair soft and much easier to comb but. I cant explain it well, I’ll try though. When you spray it it chokes you up a little bit, makes you have a tickle in the back of your throat.

It’s not sticky and doesn’t form much of a build up and I need to use it everyday he is a shih-tzu show dog so it’s important to comb him daily. I only wish whatever makes that tickle in my throat they could take that out.

Otherwise not one other complaint!.

I can’t say enough good things about this product. I use it in conjunction with the matching conditioner. It’s the only brand I’ll ever use on my girl, and we’ve been using it for four years now. First, the bottle is huge and it easily lasts for 2-3 years with my 2kg Chihuahua Pan.

The smell is sweet, mild and non irritating, and it doesn’t last especially long for those unable to handle fragrances. I am allergic to most fragrances but this is so gentle it doesn’t bother me at all.

It lathers well, and when used alongside the conditioner Pan is so silky soft and glossy. It hydrates well, doesn’t dry her out, and I actually find I need to bathe her way less often using this product.

We started her on this when she was a puppy, so it is very puppy safe. I highly recommend it, especially for dogs with skin issues.

As a professional groomer by trade, I have been exclusively using Earthbath products for over 10+ years. This is probably my favorite scent to use for a general-purpose bath because it has a pleasant yet subdued scent which is better for clients who don’t like strongly scented products but want a little something more than just unscented.

This shampoo lathers nicely and smells exactly like vanilla and almonds. It is also easy to completely rinse out which is very important. I have not seen any dog that I have bathed have an adverse reaction to this shampoo.

They always leave my business smelling fresh and looking pretty thanks (in part) to this shampoo.

They did not have the shampoo at my T. S. I had ordered it, but chose a different one when i went for pick up. I cant remember what i got. It was not impressive. A day later, i got happy Jack from UPS! It work so much better.

I have tried a wide variety of dog shampoos on my Blue Tick and none of them have given him the relief that this shampoo has. His coat has finally gotten back it’s luster, and he no longer looks like he has dandruff.

This product has also helped with his smell. It does work right away, I let the product stay on once I lathered it for the full 5 minutes!.

Awesome, Shampoo. My dog had dry skin from the winter cold. It was bad. Looked like dandruff. Just used this shampoo once so far and its working like a charm. She is not scratching at all now. Her dry skin is a whole lot less, almost can not see if she has any flaking.

and that was just her first bath with it. Best shampoo on the market. I am one happy camper knowing she is feeling better without all that dry flaking, and making her scratch all the time. Those’s days are over with.

Getting ready to bath her again with this shampoo. All the flaking should be gone with just 2 baths. I will bath her once a week now since we have such a wonderful soothing and hydrating shampoo to use on her especially in the winter months when the cold drys dogs and cats skin out just like our skin gets dry in the winter.

oh, by the way. Our dog has cold black short fur coat. Would refer this to anyone who wants to keep there dogs skin health as well as having a beautiful coat.

Was so hopeful that this product would provide my pits with some relief from mange. Sadly after treating as directed and getting rid of all bedding and toys. After a couple months with no relief as well as my whole household getting scabies from it.

This product did not do anything for my dogs mange.

After 2 visits to the vet and lots of $$, my Cocker Spaniel was more miserable than ever. Constantly scratching to the point of drawing blood. I felt so sorry for her and I was miserable with her. Took a chance and ordered this shampoo.

I have been using this product for my dog Bosco who suffers from skin issues. It has helped with the appearance of his hair and improved his overall health. My dogs are very pleased with this product, and we’re looking into oils for additional benefits.

I love this bar of soap. It makes soaping up the dogs easy and economical. This soap does the job well, it has a mild scent and doesnt seem to try the dogs skin. You can see the dirty water wash off after them when you rinse.

I wish it had more of a scent but it definitely accomplishes the job.

I was never going to have the dog liking bath time but I certainly enjoyed using this soap. Was good and sudsy (is that a word?) Doesn’t use heaps either. Can’t comment on the flea side as he doesn’t tend to get them anyway.

Good product. Does the job. First obtained from my vet for my golden retrievers itchy skin. Calms him down and stops him scratching all the time.

After bathing my to staffies with Allermyl shampoo for the first time I am surprised how well it helps the dogs skin, with no flakiness and no itchiness after bathing also calmed them both down. I will definitely use this shampoo from now on.

Seems ok, hasn’t rrmoved the problem but calms it down a bit. Not a fan of the 2-phase washing, and neither is the dog.

I’ve tried several different medicated shampoos. My dog is a beagle mix and he has outdoor allergies & also food allergies. This is the only shampoo that has controlled the itching & healed the red sores and raw skin.

His fur has also grown back. Cortisoothe shampoo worked a little when Relief shampoo was not being sold. As soon as Relief came back I started purchasing it again. All dogs with allergies react differently to each kind of treatment but this shampoo is worth a try.

I´ve been using the product for my dog once a week for over 6 months now. My dog had some skin issues and my vet recommended this product to provide my dog some comfort and to stop with the itchiness.

I always soak his coat with the product for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse. Its amazing how his skin changes, its softer and how comfortable he feels. I love this shampoo.

I expected more from this shampoo. Decent fragrance. From the company’s website, I saw to dilute it (up to 10:1, which isn’t stated on the bottle). I haven’t seen much, but I’ve only used it once so far.

I know that friends like this, so I will continue to use it at least to empty the bottle. So far, I’m not impressed. I also emailed the company with a question & they haven’t replied, which to me is a bad sign.

I just used this on my beagle puppy and it’s awesome! I used Earthbath oatmeal shampoo and conditioner(the rinse kind) then I used this last. My puppy’s fur feels so soft!! I love Earthbath products but I wanted something that was leave in too.

This shampoo was suggested to me by a terrific groomer for my dog’s dandruff and yeasty smell. It did the trick! I was tempted to deduct a star because of the overwhelming fragrance. If you are sensitive to flowery smelling things, this may not be a good pick.

Not sure why fragrance is added to dog shampoos. I’ll be donating this shampoo to my foster dog’s adopter.

I have a hound, so she starts to stink even if she hasn’t rolled in something erroneous (but she generally has rolled in something). This shampoo is great because it smells lovely, really does the trick at getting the tougher, stinkier stuff out of her wire coat, and it’s gentle on her skin so I don’t mind using as often as needed depending on her obsession with fox and cow poo!.

Ran out of this during lockdown and ordered from Inner Wolf. Excellent product especially for Cockerpoo with fur that Matt’s. Smells lovely and gets fur really clean. Brilliant quick service, good price.

Love this Hownd dog shampoo. Yes it cleans – you would expect that but the smell is great, not too strong and really quite a pleasant odour. It doesn’t mask the smell of a ‘stinking mutt’, it cleans and makes your dog your ‘best friend’ again.

I have tried so many, some very expensive dog shampoo’s on my chihuahua Bandit over the years to treat his very itchy skin which have just not worked. Now I have been using Johnson’s skin calm shampoo which had an immediate affect.

He is now itch free and so much happier along with my other babies. At under just 5 per bottle I am truly amazed. Thank You.

Used this shampoo for the first time today. Fluffy has been scratching herself incessantly for the last few days. I suspect she is allergic to something in the air where we live. Since shampooing her, she has not scratched quite so much.

Hopefully the shampoo will reduce the irritation. The threatened rain may also help to clear the air. Will definitely keep using this shampoo as Fluffy does have a sensitive skin.
