20 Best Shampoo And Conditioner For Pink Hair (2023 Updated)

I could not be more pleased with this product! I love my purple hair but not so much the fading and keeping it purple. Along came No Fade Fresh and my problems with my purple hair fading have vanished.

Bonus it is super nourishing and my hair is happier and healthier not to mention purple! Thank you No Fade Fresh, you have changed my life for the better. Seriously I have used it three times. My hair was almost back to blonde at the frayed ends and the color had come off in splotches this time.

Full disclosure: my most recent coloring was with a brand I had not tried before. It looked great for about five days then starting fading in peculiar ways. I decided to try this and in 3 uses my purple hair is a much more uniform color throughout, all the way down to the frayed ends, which do not look frayed after 3 uses.

I’m a natural, level 9 or 10 blonde, so I thought I could use this without bleaching my hair. That said, it deposited where it felt like, and never came out! First color I tried was the pink conditioner.

Never came out, so I had to color my hair back to my natural color. I decided that maybe I did it wrong or something, and purchased the silver shampoo. I was sooo looking forward to this color! It was a bust.

Again, it deposited where it felt like, and never “faded out”. I tried contacting their color coach, and customer service to see how to remove it. It’s been 7 weeks now with partly silver dotted hair, and no response from company.

And yes, I followed directions to a tee. I’m going to try and remove it today with some Color Zap.

I received a bottle of the No Fade Fresh Lavender Color Depositing Conditioner in the mail in exchange for a review. I currently have a platinum blonde balayage and my hair ranges from super light to light blonde to brown at the root.

I’ve used this product 3 separate times and noticed the following: the first time, I didn’t see any effect on the color of my hair, at all. Not even the lightest parts picked it up. I left it on for a couple of minutes fearing my hair would turn full on purple, but it didn’t even come close.

It does condition and soften the hair regardless. The second time I used it I did notice more color picked up after leaving it on for around 10 minutes. It wasn’t a block of color, but I noticed a lot of brassiness had been taken away from the lightest parts of the hair.

The next section up/ darker light blonde didn’t seem to pick up a lot of this color. However, the overall sheen was definitely more blue than the pinky lavender shown on the bottle. This is fine for my needs but a heads up for those wanting the pink lavender.

The third time I used it I just noticed an increase in the blue sheen without it being actually blue, and the 2 lightest blonde didn’t pick up much of it either. The scent is nice and understated, not obnoxious or overwhelming.

I need to use a lot of product because I have a lot of thick, long, dry, chemically damaged hair and I do cowashing. I used this conditioner 3 times and by the third I had pretty much ran out of it. Not a problem for me but could be for someone else.

The application is nice, it does NOT stain your skin and tub/shower like other color depositing conditioners. Really stretches/goes a long way. Overall it’s a product I’ll keep using until it runs out and I might consider purchasing a second bottle.

I would recommend this to someone who’s looking to take brass away from lighter blonde hair while conditioning but not to someone who’s looking for a strong color payoff or to turn their platinum blonde hair into lavender.

The product works great! I have natural black hair and bleached it once to make it vibrant red. I wash my hair daily, so the color faded pretty quick. I don’t want to go to hair salon again, so I randomly searched it on amazon to find this.

I decided to give a try, and after several weeks, I found it very convenient to remain my hair color in a fairly bright red hue evenly. The color remains for 2~3 wash. However, I’m not giving it five stars because:Instead of using it like my normal shampoo, I need to squeeze 3 palms of the product to apply on my hair to reach the color change shown in my photos.

I tried using a small amount and imagined the product staying on my hair longer would let the color soak in, but it didn’t work much. If you have long hair, you probably will run out of this very fast.

It also dries my hair after rinsing it off, but could be solved with conditioner once. Anyway if you plan to use this, I recommend to apply a generous amount of it on your hair, and massage it through hair to have the even color, but not making a lot of foams.

After waiting for a few mins, rinse it off and use conditioner once or twice under warm water since a steaming hot shower washes the new applied color off easily.

My Superdrug colour shampoo, which I have used for years to keep my hair bright, was changed to a boring brown, so I was desperate to find an alternative that was easy to use and left my hair nice and bright (red).

I bought one type of shampoo but it didnt make much difference. I read reviews and decided to give this a go, although it is a lot more expensive. It is really worth it. My hair is bright, it is easy to use and unless Superdrug changes their colour back to a red, I shall continue with this one.

Love love love!! The colour is SO vibrant! I use it every couple weeks. My hair is medium length and I get 3 uses per bottle. Wear gloves though / it’s as powerful as dye! It smells very floral but much nicer than hair dye ;).

The best product ever for people with coloured hair. I will never use normal shampoo for coloured hair again. The only reason this product does not get 5* is that the purple shampoo darkens the hair too, but this does allow you to utilise normal colour shampoo in between.

I would recommend that the red shampoo is used every time you wash your hair though.

The only cons I would say aside from it being really good, is that it does stain the tub every time I use it, but I found borax soap cleans it up nicely. Aside from that, it’s a bit pricey for such a slim bottle and I have to use quite a bit because I have really long hair.

Otherwise, it’s definitely the bang for your buck and does what it says, keeps the color nice! Thank you so much!.

Adds color while you shampoo. Ounce per ounce, it is a bit pricey and it doesn’t seem to lather up as much. So compared to ordinary shampoos, you may end up using more of this product to feel like you’ve gotten you hair clean enough, to where you’d expect it to be, having just washed it.

It works best on color treated hair but if you’re using this product for the first time, you shouldn’t expect to see the vivid color results like the hair swatches on the website or the ads. If you’re using this shampoo to maintain your already ultra-bright hair color, it should work beautifully— provided you follow the directions carefully.

If you’re starting with hair that’s just been bleached light blonde or platinum, you should see great results too— provided you allow it enough time (several minutes) to soak in. If you’re building on hair that’s been dyed, but it’s a “normal “ hair color, then you’ll likely get wonderful jewel tones.

Pretty, but nowhere near the bright colors you saw, that probably got your attention. Use nylon or plastic gloves. At first, I felt it went without saying because it IS hair coloring, but after reading several other comments, I want to reiterate: even though gloves are not included, they are recommended.

And just like with traditional hair color, you should also apply a thin layer of protection around your hairline before using this product too. You can use either a proprietary product or your own, just create some kind of a barrier with an oil-based product (like Vaseline or AD ointment) something that won’t be absorbed but rather prevent the color from soaking into your skin while you’re waiting for the color to set.

Wipe away any blobs of excess color that might get onto your ears or face too.

Since my brunette hair can’t hold purple color very long, I was going through desperate lengths to keep it looking fresh and vibrant. I was limiting hair washing down to 3 times a week, using the coldest water I could stand and top of the line shampoos/conditioner that either specialize in fade prevention or advertise color protection; I even installed a soft water filter in my shower head! My stylist recommended me get it colored every 6 weeks, due to it just washing down the drain in a matter of weeks and that is just something I can’t afford to do that often; She educated me of this line and I cant live without it!! My hair looks as it did the day I left the salon.

This stuff has saved me so much money because it is no longer necessary for me to get my hair colored every 6 weeks, but more like 3 or 4 times a year! Sometimes it dries my hair out, but nothing a leave in conditioner or deep conditioning treatment can’t fix.

If I could change one thing it would be them offering a much larger size, because I go through this every 2 – 3 months or so. Yes it will get everywhere and could stain your tub/shower but I use a tile cleaner with bleach and it eliminates all of it as if nothing happened.

I also don’t use this alone, I layer my favorite color protection shampoo over the colorwash and fade prevention(moisture adding) conditioner over the colorditioner, both assist with shine, keep it maintained and preventing my hair from getting brittle.

A must have for hair color fanatics!.

I do not recommend for my curly hair girls. I feel like this made my hair dry it didn’t obtain moisture after using I had to use something else because the way it made my hair feel. It’s hard to detangle after using.

I have been using this Luster’s Pink conditioning shampoo on my daughter’s head. I think it moisterizes her hair. It’s easy to use. #VoxBox

If your hair is relaxed I would use caution with this product. However , I agree that this is and old school staple that has been forgotten about. It is really good for some curly hair types and I do use it on my daughters hair.

I love this product it keeps my dry brittle hair so moist and Is a must have in my house. I also use it on my two daughters hair one has curly hair it defines her curls and keeps them shiny and my other daughter it keeps her hair straight after her silky press so great for all hair types.

I have now ordered directly from Celeb Luxury twice. First order took FOREVER to get here so with the order I just placed on 7/31, I paid for express shipping so I wasn’t waiting weeks again. I got the email acknowledging the order and then one that stated my order was being processed.

Then nothing. If you call the 888 number on the website, no matter what number you push, it’s voicemail jail. I sent emails to anyone I could find an address for. Come to find out it was out for delivery today.

If you can find the product you need at your local beauty supply shop, I would do it that way as dealing with Celeb Luxury has been less than stellar. If Celeb Luxury had been a bit better with communication I would have given a higher rating.

I truly love the Gem products. Color lasts and the colorditioner leaves my hair very soft (I put it on damp freshly washed hair, pile my hair up into a shower cap and wrap with a towel and let sit for 30 minutes) As someone who is transitioning to platinum, the flawless diamond is PERFECT!.

I love that I can use this at home to boost my color or (in my case) added color in entirely over freshly highlighted hair. I’ve used the shampoo and conditioner 3 times over the past couple of weeks or so, and it only took these 3 times to get it to the shade I wanted, which is awesome.

Plus side of this shampoo is I can easily apply it at home and control the depth of color I want. I also noticed that I haven’t noticed any bleeding onto my shirts and pillows like I would with traditional dye.

Like I said – I only noticed it because I haven’t noticed it. I would normally put a black t-shirt over my pillowcase for a few weeks to protect my sheets, but I haven’t even thought about it. One downside is that it dyes my hands and fingernails significantly (I’m using the vivid magenta).

Since it’s intended as regular shampoo to use in the shower, I didn’t wear gloves or anything, and my hands get stained and it takes some serious scrubbing to get most of it off. But my nails will stay dyed for days even with washing and scrubbing.

It’s sort of to be expected, but I also made sure to read the directions and it didn’t mention anyting about protecting your hands. So that’s sort of a personal call for you – this is hair dye and the vivid magenta is no joke.

But the color is gorgeous and I am very pleased overall :).

Sometimes an oldie is a goodie. I grew up using the original Pink oil moisturizer but moved away from the formula because it felt too heavy for my hair. I appreciate this newer formula that feels very moisturizing and my hair has been getting softer and softer with continued use.

Hopefully, I won’t encounter product intolerance where sunsetting that worked for a while is suddenly rejected by my hair. I gave it 3/5 in part because the package is a little clumsy to handle if your fingers are covered in the product.

Hopefully, Luster’s can alter the package to make it easier to handle dispensing products more easily.

This product right here is one of the Best leave in conditioner for low porosity hair! This product is so smooth and leaves the hair soft without residue and works really well with other products! I always order more than one bottle so that I don’t run out.

Lusters everything for always. SInk I was a kid Ive been hooked on the smell of this oink lotion stuff. Not only does it work so well it smells amazing. Um, there is never a lose. I would recommend this co wash as well as all of there other products.

It’s rare that I ever write a review on the basis of laziness, but after using this product again yesterday I feel it definitely needs a review. I’ve used countless toners and purple shampoos, from the likes of Jerome Russell to even Olaplex.

There is nothing that has ever worked as well as Bleach London’s silver shampoo/conditioner. I used their white toner immediately after bleaching but was left with some yellowish tones due to over damaged hair/not keeping heat in and was trialling cheaper purple shampoos for a week with nothing working, so I still had that very clearly bleached chemicall-y yellow-y hair.

I had no idea they did a smaller bottle of purple shampoo so when I saw it I immediately picked it up, and I’m so glad I did! The difference is incredible! My hair is much more silvery blonde and all yellow has disappeared completely.

I’m so glad I decided to buy it again!.

I am very satisfied by this shampoo. It took out the yellow tones that have begun spreading in my level 8/9 blonde hair within 5 minutes, and put me back at the light mushroom tone that I initially started with the last time I touched up my hair ~6 weeks ago.

I typically use Blonde Brilliance toning shampoo and find it to be a bit drying and doesn’t work as quick as the Bleach London stuff. My hair felt nice after washing it with this shampoo. Also, I absolutely adore the scent–it’s almost masculine, but definitely unisex.

I can still smell it after I’m done drying and styling my hair, which I love! The only thing I don’t like is that the bottle has a screw cap. Would prefer a squeeze bottle, as I use it in the shower and I don’t like that the screw cap makes it prone to getting water inside.

But I still give it 5 stars overall, because I will be buying this in the future!.

I really wanted to like this but unfortunately it did not give me the desired results. I must say though that i really liked the smell, its not overwhelming. Smells almost floral. At first I thought this would be a good product because it looked very concentrated.

The product was a very deep purple. It did not lather as expected and i found myself shampooing my hair ontop of using this. Anyway I did not see much for results after using this on my hair. I tried for 3 weeks as directed and I still have more brassiness then disired.

I will not be purchasing in the future. I will be looking for a better alternative.

I am a natural brunette with a pretty impressive amount of grey hairs coming in, so I have started getting my hair heavily highlighted in order to blend everything. Normally, the way I get my hair colored, I go every 8-12 weeks for touch ups, but life got busy between my last appointment and the next, and I’m now at 4 months between appointments.

I have a pretty solid routine in between colorings to keep any yellow or brashness at bay (and keep the regrowth and highlights somewhat blended), but I was out of my normal shampoo, and picked this up on a whim.

I am super impressed with the way it instantly toned down any trace of unwanted yellow in my blonde, while brightening up my natural grey and even toning down my natural color. I ended up with just a nice, smooth blend (and I have probably close to 2.

5 inches of regrowth). At 4 months out with another 2 weeks to go till my next appointment, I’m very happy those results. The only reasons I’m taking a star off is I really dislike the smell (it smells very chemically to me), and I’m not super crazy about the way it seems to leave a bit of a film on my hair.

I have only used it a couple times so far, so I think unless the buildup gets really bad (like to the point even using a clarifying shampoo won’t help), I’ll buy it again.

This has helped maintain my pink hair soooo vibrant! Warning: it can be messy stain your tub but to me I rather deal with that than with my hair fading quickly. I usually lather it on cover it with a hair cap do my entire shower process, scrub, shave, etc till the end I’ll wash it off that way the color shampoo saturates my hair color.

Just wish they made a bigger bottle!.

💜Tessa Watercolors Intense Shampoo in Purple does leave subtle color in darker hair. My hair is dyed burgundy violet. Watercolors Purple gave my hair a subtle purple tint after 5 washes. Unfortunately, the dye in the shampoo stains tubs and shower walls.

The dye stain can be removed with a bleach cleaner. 💜.

I received this product as a sample from my local beauty store and was pleasantly surprised. A little goes a long way and the lather is really nice. It smells good but not too strong. It definitely got my hair really clean because I had a lot of product build up and it took all of product out.

I’m happy that I got a few sample packs to keep using and will most likely buy it during my next beauty store trip.

Well I ended up with gold, yellow, lemony chunks of highlights around the front which looked so stupid FLAWLESS DIAMOND is just that. flawless. It also cured the yellowing in the back. It is so beautiful.

I purchased the Gem Lites conditioner in the color Diamond, because my Platinum hair is quite pororus and soaks up color very easily. It does remove the yellow/ brassy color, but I think I need one shade darker for the hair closer to my roots.

I’ve noticed that the brassy color doesn’t seem to be reduced much. I realize that my roots won’t be affected by it, which is fine, but I was hoping that the brassy color just off of my roots would be somewhat more dimished.

Perhaps I need to use the shampoo with it? Again, this was my 1st foray into using a product that deposits color. My only complaint is the overal cost for the amount of product. It’s quite expensive for the amount you receive.

I feel quite sorry for those poor women who have long and/ or thick hair. :(.

I’ve been getting my hair professionally colored purple for 2 years now and have been using the purple colorditioner for just as long. It was suggested by my hairdresser. It truly keeps the vibrancy of the purple in my hair in between appointments.

It was a lifesaver during Covid when I could not get my hair professionally done. It works great and smells great! It does stain your hands though, but it’s unnoticeable after a few hand washes. I get compliments constantly on the color of my hair! I highly recommend this product! It doesn’t make your hair look trashy either as some OTC colors can do.

I’d been looking for the right combination to get a natural looking red/auburn (I CANNOT pull off ginger much to my chagrin) for almost a year and was afraid to go red again after my last experience with red (well orange) but I can’t talk enough about how good this product is.

I had mousy, light brown hair that is, at this point after 5 or so years of frowning it out, virgin hair. I also don’t use heat on my hair so it’s rather resistant to most temporary, semi- or Demi permanent color, which leads to a LOT of transfer.

I have little to no transfer even with day 3-4 hair or after the shower as long as I rinse until the water is clear. I mix the merlot and copper shades 50/50 and use it every other wash in the place of my normal cleansing conditioner which equals about 1x a week for me with my curly girl routine.

I’ve found this maintains the color without having to wait extended periods of time with goop on your head. I only do that every 4-5 washes depending on how my color is holding up. I get so many compliments on the color (it’s been described to me as Irish setter red if you want a visual aid).

People are shocked when I say it’s dyed which is crazy to me but definitely welcome! I have very few gripes about the product, only really two minor things. Unfortunately, like almost every other non-permanent due on the market, it does have silicones, it just comes with the territory but I find that the shampooing with the color keeps my hair from getting too limp or messing with my curl pattern (3A).

I don’t like silicones but it’s a trade-off I find worth it, especially given that I can stop using the product if it’s weighing my hair down and messing with the curls. In addition to that, because I have to mix the colors and red is notorious for staining, my hands, my bathroom and tub have become Peach Bellini or red tinted on more than one occasion but that’s more me not being careful enough than the product being bad.

Red inevitably ends up EVERYWHERE so please be careful.

I’ve been buying the smaller bottles for 2 years and then last year there was a 50% off sale so i bought 3 of these huge bottles. i lost 2 of the bottles during moving (😭😭😭 i mourned these and ripped apart everything trying to find them) but the big bottle i did get to try, lasted over 6 months, it definitely replaced my use of shampoo AND conditioner bc it DID feel cleaner without having to using a shampoo n i felt like not using a shampoo at all was better.

it DOES stain ur tub n shower if u dont wipe it off immediately if it does splatter but honestly worth it. its not AS staining as some other color depositing conditioners ive used, it smells great, and the color DOES last.

fyi tho if u scratch ur scalp like i do when im thinking, the color will show up under ur fingernails tho 🤡 you can check my insta n quite literally see how long its lasted me since hair salon color.

after using it once touching up roots n overall hair dye at the hair salon, the color literally never faded except for the times i didnt use the clenditioner. i also think it made my hair softer n healthier too.

idk ab these hair loss claims but my hair was already losing hair bc of my continuous 4+ years long hair color journey of repeatedly dying it pink for 4 or so years without a break so maybe the hair loss claims are just ab the bleach? or some other environmental factor? i dont think its made it more hair loss-y tho.

the color is rosegold however u can see a bit of lilac/lavender colors in there too so ig just be aware? i dont mind it all tho cause i love the pink, rose gold, and lilac/lavender hues i hope they have the 50% off sale again bc if i buy another 3 bottles–im pretty sure itll last 3 years(at least for me) i use to have shoulder length hair but now more like bust length hair.

I am naturally a very dark brunette-think expresso with not gray but white coming in with age. Right before the pandemic I decided to go to the salon and went champagne blonde. well with the shut down I couldn’t get a touch up, weeks went into months and I finally decided to just let it grow out-no more coloring! First thing I did when restrictions were lifted was get a very over due haircut.

Then I went to Ulta and a very nice mgr recommended this product in silver to tone down the blonde. I was very skeptical. But this 100% WORKED!!! I was cautious at 1st, used on wet hair, only left it on for 15 minutes.

saw results the 1st time. slowly I left product on longer & longer. finally I went to using on dry hair. (Better results for what I was looking to achieve) Now I leave on for an hour on dry hair and it looks like a pro transition from roots to tips.

Between growth and 2 more cuts there really is little blonde left (my hair grows fast). The salt/pepper is vibrant, not yellow or green and the blonde is very muted. EXTREMELY liberating after 40 years, no more coloring.

My hair is soft & healthy. Zero staining on hands, towels, etc. I will be using this FOREVER! OK there are 2 cons: Rinsing in the shower makes my tub very slippery, like grab bar 911 slippery and like other reviewers have stated the pump doesn’t always work.

On my 3rd bottle and 2 were defective so i just pour into my hand and distribute. I use it once a week so the bottle does last & for the results it yields, I feel it is worth every penny. So for every lady of a certain age thinking of going natural, this stuff does wonders for the color and quality of your hair.

Good one I bought the shampoo for the first time, when I lightened my hair and stopped for a few months on ginger; I didn’t notice any spectacular effects or effects on the color. After a while, I managed to get back to a pretty, rude blond, so I put the shampoo on the shelf.

And he stood there until yesterday, until I decided to slightly darken my cold blonde with drugstore paint. As you would expect, the hair came out brown, gray-green, tragedy! In a flash of glare, I remembered that apparently green hair is the best color for red dye, so I flew for tomato paste and reached for the dusty Ultra Color System for Red Hair.

I poured half a bottle on my hair and held it for half an hour. THE EFFECT WAS SPECTACULAR! Green and gray have gone completely, beautiful, gray reflexes remained. This shampoo really saved my hair from the next dyeing, saved time, money and crocodile tears! The application may not be as intended by the manufacturer, but I highly recommend this hair product after a failed – and as a result – green – dyeing, maybe one of the girls will get here and get rid of trouble faster :).

I love this product! Gives my red hair a beautiful, shiny boost of color. Easy to use (please wear gloves) and quick. Great value because you dont need much of the product to achieve results.

I have newly gray hair; since the pandemic, I let my hair grow out naturally. A hairdresser friend recommended this Purple shampoo. It seems to give my hair more shine and light. Glad I took her advice!.

I love it. I love the smell. I used other scents but the jasminne peony is the best. It also keeps my hair feeling cleaner longer. Sometimes when it’s raining and my hair gets even a little wet you can still smell the jasmine peony.

Even if it’s days later. It mite cost a little more but it’s totally worth it. It’s awesome. It’s one thing in my drab little life that makes me feel good about myself. Good job coming up with this one.

Smells good, as advertised. My hair was more manageable. About wash 8, a clump of hair came out in my hand while rinsing. If it had been knots, I would have blamed it on myself; however, it was smooth group of hair and no pain when it came out (about 10-15 strands maybe).

Possibly the length of time it takes for each complete rinse. I have discontinued use. I am 68, with not a lot of gray yet, but thinning hair. Wish my review could be better.

Been using Wen for over 10 years and Won’t use any other product on the market. I chose this specifically because of my hair type as well as the beautiful smell. My hair became softer, less frizzy (added moisture) and it’s easy to leave it as is when drying naturally or if I choose to style turns out beautiful.

Using Wen products on my animals too. I was thrilled to see Chaz added these to the product lines.

Being freshly bleached blonde by a professional, I was hoping for dramatic results. Unfortunately I was left pretty disappointed; especially for the cost of product. After an hour, with hair covered with plastic & winter hat to keep heat in and prevent product from drying while processing, I was left with little to non-noticable color.

So, the next day, I repeated the same process; hopeful that I had built up enough of a base from the first try to end up with more pronounced color. Although a tad more color deposited, it was a far cry from the perfect pastel shade displayed on Overtones swatch provided.

Staying ever optimistic, I opted to purchase the darker “vibrant” shade with hopes of a better color outcome. Fingers crossed. Product has not arrived as of yet, but will review upon using. Overtone is recommended by professionals, definitely moisturizing & smells minty fresh, so I’m giving them another shot.

Hopeful that the results are a closer match to my expectations based on Overtones color swatches.

Highly recommend oVertone products in general. I have been using the purple for brown hair and love it. It happens to lean toward pink/fuschia in my hair, so I added blue to give it more of a violet hue.

It worked perfectly. Now before using, I mix half purple and half blue in a glass bowl and once it’s thoroughly blended, I saturate my hair. To get the depth of color I want, I put the product on dry, clean hair, and leave it on for around 45 minutes.

It’s dramatically different from only leaving it on for 15 — much more vibrant. This time around, I had my stylist bleach in highlights. The after photos are outdoors where the color is always easiest to catch in photos.

One is in cooler light and the other warmer. I simply love this product and the company. The color smells clean (and not overpowering). Sure, it stains so you have to be super careful, but I think it’s worlds easier than either sitting in a salon for hours or using home kits.

So much easier to maintain, too. I still can’t believe how well the products add bright, beautiful color to my dark brown hair without any damage at all. I am a super fan, for sure!.

Not as pigmented as other pastel Overtone products. I use these types of products to get the perfect pastel colour (on their own, not in addition to the weekly product, which I found overly pigmented), however with this product – I found it far less pigmented.

It was more like a bad purple shampoo product. My hair look over-toned rather than truly silver. It took a lot of applications without much washing to get much colour deposited. Additionally, it faded too quickly to have an additive effect, which other products were able to have.

My recommendation would be to mix this with other colour depositing daily conditioners (like blue or purple), rather than using on its own to achieve silver hair – that is what I will be doing with the remainder of the product I have.

I will add the caveat that I use head & shoulders, this is notorious for fading hair faster than standard shampoo. I would recommend using purple shampoo (which slowed the fading, but was not as much as I would like).
