I give the shampoo 4 stars because of the overwhelming kind of unpleasant smell. It does make your hair feel soft. I give the company selling it a 1 star for customer service and tracking ability. So with all that said their total of just 3 stars for those reasons.

You only need a dime size amount and get tons of creamy lather that is gentle to gray hair. My hair has been thinning and I think some of it was due to using products like hairspray with alcohol that made my hair brittle and it would break off.

Now I will only use this shampoo and matching conditioner and nothing else on my hair.

Nothing to dislike about this wonderful shampoo. My gray looks beautiful.

Love the softness. Wish I had. Curls to enhance, but alas poker straight. Combined shampoo and conditioner is so easy. One star down for violet color of the prodt. My hair didn’t take on any of the violet color, but do be careful.

I was surprised by the intensity of the product color.

It works great in restoring the whiteness of the hair. It is not a conditioner, so if you require this, you might have to use something else. This is a great shampoo for restoring the white color of natural hair.

The shampoo/conditioner is okay for oily hair. Not for normal hair. Made my hair dry and frizzy. Probably won’t buy again.

Great shade of violet to tone those platinum highlights. Would definitely recommend… only to use once or twice a week to avoid over toning hair and causing dryness from over use.

So I start to dye my hair one year ago, starting with highlights and finishing with platinum hair, I don’t use this shampoo I use another one but i like Salerm products!

This is our go too conditioner for our little ones. It smells amazing and keeps their hair super soft. The scent lasts about 2 days but isn’t overpowering like a lot of baby products out there. We love it and will keep buying it.

This a great conditioner. Less snarles without any extra weight on little curls.

I’ve got mixed thoughts about this set. I get an itchy scalp (not flaky) and dry skin in general after swimming, so I have to be quite careful with the products I use post swim. On one hand the shampoo seems quite gentle, but it doesn’t do anything to moisturise my scalp or sooth the itchy sensation particularly but it certainly doesn’t make the situation worse like some shampoos.

Paired with my usual conditioner it works quite well, however the PK conditioner is a different matter. The conditioner is a very thin consistency when you apply, which doesn’t seem to really moisturise or nourish my hair that well.

I have naturally thick wavy hair and does seem to knock the natural texture out of it though. Usually I wash my hair every other day but my hair looks quite greasy on the second day when using this shampoo and conditioner combined.

I don’t think I would buy this again. I’ll stick with my usual Kerastase Specifique Bain Riche Dermo-Calm Shampoo and the matching conditioner, nourishing but lightweight.

So far the best Purple Shampoo I’ve found. I have not used it long but My hair shines and actually feels thicker and softer. It hasn’t really taken out all my brassiness yet but maybe after a few more uses it will.

I am transitioning from medium brown colored treated hair to my natural white/grey hair that I’m letting grow out. It is very fine so my hairdresser didn’t want to bleach it anymore for fear of damaging it more to get the orange and yellow tone out of it.

She just highlighted down to blendable with my natural white/grey hair. That is probably why not all the brassiness is coming out with the Purple Shampoo. This is a top of the line Shampoo and I have the Silver Lining Butter Masque too, which I love and recommend everyone to try if you are transiting to white/grey hair like me.

This shampoo is excellent, it’s good for dry hair and makes the color sparkle; my hair feels so soft and I always get compliments. I just wish BNY would dispense with the pump, I’d rather have a regular flip top dispenser.

The pump on my conditioner doesn’t even work, so it becomes really cumbersome to have to take it off and get the product out. Also, please consider refill packs to use less plastic, because I suspect I’ll be using these products for a long time!.

I bought three of them although it has price tag 6 times more than normal shampoo and was so excited but no result after a week of use and gave me rash on my head. I would rather use hair dye product instead.

Also I heard this product is banned in South Korea and wonder how it is approved in the US.

I have been using the shampoo for a few years. It stopped my hair from falling out and stimulated a lot of new growth. I never needed a conditioner with the shampoo, because the shampoo alone did a good enough job.

However, the price has come down enough that I was able to buy the set. The combination of the two is really good for my aging hair (I’m 53, with mid length natural auburn hair and very few grays). It rolls it back to the way my hair used to look 15 years ago.

I can even get away with less flat ironing and just a blow dry.

This “gray shampoo” must have some type of purple dye in it. It’s probably designed to reduce the yellow effect that some gray hair has. The problem is, it stains the shower purple. I have never seen a shampoo do this.

Firstly, I didn’t ask for dye. The purpose of looking for a shampoo for gray hair is because gray hair is more coarse and wiry, and needs to be more manageable. If I want to change the color of my hair, I will dye it.

This is supposed to be shampoo. But if this is going to try to modify my hair color, that might be tolerable. But it should absolutely not be staining my shower.

Never received this product, however, I’ve used it before. Love the sense of cleanness as well as the fragrance. Love their hair pomade and how easy it is to remove it at night or whenever you decide to shower.

Would I buy it again?? Absolutely!.

I am just about to finish the bottle and have not been impressed. I don’t like the fragrance, which is a personal preference. This shampoo does nothing for my gray/white hair. It has only become more brassy as I have used this shampoo, and it is also feeling unhealthy with increased breakage.

I have an extremely sensitive, allergic scalp and live in a building with extremely hard water. While the shampoo seems very gentle and is quite fragrance free, this product did not work for me. My hair was weighed down and my scalp became extremely itchy.

My husband seems okay with the product, as he washes his hair every day. But I will take a pass.

This shampoo is great. It cleans really well. It does not leave my hair tangled either. It is definetely one of my favorites.

everyhting is great about it ! super simple, super clean design, everything works great. the only thing i can say is that sometimes the camera cannot connect due to updates or simple technical issues that the complany is working on but all of this is temporarily and usually returns back to normal within a couple hours so not a big deal.

i will get more for sure plus the motion pack.

This purple shampoo isn’t the best, but it’s not the worst. It definitely took the brassiness away from my platinum hair. Leaves a slight purple hue but I’m not too concerned about it. I normally use Redken (which wasn’t available anywhere near me so I picked this up) and that leaves a hue so I’m used to it.

My main concern is how dry it left my hair. I mixed my Redken purple conditioner and Olaplex conditioner and left it in for about 3 minutes and that seemed to help. But I don’t normally mix both. I will end up going back to Redken though.

The fragrance isn’t overwhelming like most purple shampoos which is nice.

First of all it didn’t come with a pump as shown in the advertised picture. The smell is pleasant (coconut scent) or something around that department. In comparison to my previous products it doesn’t leave my hair silk and soft after rising.

On the contrary I get left with a massive tangle, thankfully I have really straight hair so they come out quick. But I unfortunately won’t be purchasing again. I’ll stick to my JOICO purple conditioner.

I really like this shampoo. I stopped coloring my hair several years and now wonder why I ever colored it in the first place! I love how my hair color is transitioning with strands of silver/gray appearing like natural highlights.

This shampoo brings out the sheen in the silver/gray strands and makes my hair feel so soft and healthy. The shampoo has a nice subtle pleasing aroma too.

Being more expensive and French, I expected to like it much more than Shimmer Lights or other less expensive shampoos. I thought my hair would look whiter, brighter, skinnier, silkier, etc. , but it doesn’t.

It did not eliminate the yellow tinge like Shimmer Lights does. Although it did not dry my hair as much. I have only used it twice, so I will give it a chance. Note, I have to used a lot more than I do with my other shampoos.

I’ve tried every high-end purple shampoo, and a few of the low-end versions. None of them even come close to this Rene Furterer OKARA Mild Silver Shampoo. Why not? Very simple: all of the others are very DRYING.

You can only use the other shampoos once a week, & even then, you’ll have to use a heavy duty conditioner afterwards. Not so with Rene Furterer. I use this shampoo every time I wash my hair, and it conditions my hair beautifully (always!) while giving my grey hair the most amazing sterling silver color, and shine.

People complement me on my hair a lot, because it looks spectacular because of this shampoo. No, I don’t work for Rene Furterer, & I rarely write reviews, but having used this shampoo for the past FIVE years, I speak from experience.

This shampoo is nice and light feeling. It doesn’t have too much suds and has good amount of lathering. It has a great minty fresh smell that tingles the scalp. I was very satisfied with this product.

I didn’t think my grey hair was dry or wiry but one use of this stuff and it was silky soft and glowing! It’s almost like a combined shampoo / conditioner. Soft creamy lather, fresh scent, and great end results.

I treat it more like a conditioner and only use it maybe a couple of times a week alongside my regular shampoo but that’s enough for me. Warning – don’t be freaked out first time you use it when the lather appears a purple/lilac colour – the end result is a great shine on your silver-top!.

A rich and gentle shampoo. It does have an unexpected lingering perfume which is unusual for a Dualsense shampoo. It is fairly expensive but a little goes a long way.

I’ve tried all kinds of shampoos for my unruly gray hair, but this one is the best so far. It says that it’s a shampoo and conditioner, but I still need to use a conditioner with it as well. It is, however, the most conditioning shampoo that I have found, even more so than the expensive salon ones that stain everything in your shower purple.

This shampoo doesn’t take much to lather up and my hair is semi controllable after using it. It doesn’t dry it out and I can use it daily.

If you have bleached hair, stop what you’re doing – THIS IS YOUR PRODUCT. My hair was so dead and I was going through bottles of purple shampoo like crazy because nothing was working to get rid of my brass.

I spent so much money before I found this shampoo and conditioner and then I never went back. I leave it in for about a minute in the shower before washing it out, and the brass is instantly gone and my hair looks lighter like I just got it done.

Even if you accidentally leave it in for too long, it doesn’t stain your hair like other brands do. It also makes your hair feel super soft and even though my hair was unhealthy, I got compliments on how shiny it was all the time.

Early days but I’ve started using this twice a week as recommended by my hairdresser. I’m going cautiously as my hair is very short so I don’t want to use it too often but I think it is giving my already silver hair a bit more lustre.

This is one of my favorite shampoos when I dye my hair with unicorn colors. Since fantasy colors are semi-permanent, sulfate shampoos will make them fade REAL FAST. With this shampoo, you can enjoy your semi-permanent colors for longer time, and even thou it’s sulfate-free, it’s foamy and cleans really good.

Love it, so I prefer to buy the biggest size (1000 ml shampoo) 💖.

I would not have ordered this had the ingredient list been known. The first ingredient is sodium laureth sulfate which is a chemical sudsing item. It is used in many cleaners both industrial and commercial.

I do not use anything that contains that ingredient in any of its forms. My hair had been thinning and once I stopped using any shampoo that contained any various forms of sodium laureth/ laurel sulfate, my hair is now thicker and very healthy.

Oh by the way, I’m 66 and have grey hair. Its thicker now than when I was 40! Do not use anything with sodium laureth/laurel sulfate on your hair.

So far I’ve only used it once; it’s very nice and creamy especially since it’s 2 in 1. However, since I’ve only used it the one time, I don’t know whether it will help diminish the brassiness in my silver-white hair.

Had nice comments on how my hair shines and how clean and bright the white in in my two toned white and dark grey hair. (More white than grey) They both smell lovely and easy to use, although you need second shampoo to get a nice lather.

Also it’s a nice change from the blue shampoo look that I also like as well.

I have wanted to try this brand for years but did not want to deal with a UK web site. When I found LookFantistic with US shipping I was thrilled. This conditioner is great for silver/grey/white hair and I will definitely purchase it again.

It takes very little and leaves my hair moisturized but not greasy. My hair is dry already and I have shied away from purple shampoos, etc. , because they leave me dry but this conditioner helps prevent that.
