20 Best Shampoo And Conditioner For Dandruff And Oily Hair (2023 Updated)

Ive been looking for a duo that will let me maximize the time between washes, as my hair gets oily very quickly, probably due to the high pH and detergents in other shampoos. This one is it. Finally! Smells heavenly and the conditioner is so luxurious – the fact that its good for your hair will totally evade you till you read the label! I am in love and will be buying the larger versions next time.

I want to share my experience with Dercos. I’ve been suffering from dandruff since being a teenager, and Vichy Dercos anti-dandruff shampoo for normal or oily hair was always by my side. I’m a female and always had beautiful long hair, so visible dandruff is not something you want people to see! I use it now twice a week, in order to keep my dandruff in control, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone with similar issues.

It definitely calmed my sensitive, itchy dry scalp. I use it in combination with Dercos Nutrients Vitamin A. C. E conditioner, as it provides all heathy nutrients for maintaining the healthiness of both my scalp and hair.

Those 2 products are absolute game changers! I would also recommend Dercos Energizing shampoo and conditioner, as well as 2 minute hair mask. All of them are better than other brands I tried over my lifetime.

Thank you Vichy for transforming my life, as I can freely wear black, speak with people face to face etc. without worrying that someone will see my dandruff! That’s so liberating!.

Wow! Wow! Wow! As someone who suffers with an itchy scalp that often times turns flaky really easily I have used many anti-dandruff shampoo’s & usually the ones that work leave my hair straw like & really hard to manage.

I received a sample of the Dercos Anti-Dandruff for dry hair & i’m blown away, from just one use my flakes have all but 99% disappeared, not an itchy patch in sight & my hair is soft, smooth & my fingers run through it like a hot knife through butter.

I have used this product for many years and my hairdresser (in England) used to obtain it for me. A few years ago he said he was unable to get any more. Since then I have searched for the Equaliser all over, and have tried many other products trying to achieve the same effect but have failed.

A few weeks ago I saw the equaliser for sale on eBay, supplied from America and ordered it. i was so pleased when it arrived and found it is just as good as I remember. I have very soft fly away hair and the equaliser keeps it in control and stops it from going frizzy.

I am so pleased to have it again, as far as I am concerned it has no equal.

I waited a few weeks before my review. I have short (pixie) hair, that is very fine, but have lots of it. This shampoo does just what it says it does, gives tons of shine. I usually use, Alterna shine spray.

The shampoo smells good. It is a conditioning shampoo so it makes my hair feel soft and very clean. Lathers great. The conditioner smells nice too and detangles my hair very well. I only need to use a little bit of each product and the price is great.

The duo has an excellent price on ebay and it is a great value.

This is a very effective shampoo. I used to have trouble with my scalp flaking after using normal shampoo, but I haven’t had any dandruff at all after 3 washes. The scent is pleasant, and lingers in my hair long after most conventional shampoo scents fade; I’ve had a couple of compliments from family and friends as well.

The menthol scent also helps calm me down; after a hot day, lathering up the shampoo makes my whole head feel cooler, and helps ease tension headaches. The shampoo foams up quickly and clears grease from the hair effectively, and is easily rinsed without leaving residue behind (either in the hair or on the shower floor and tiles).

I have already recommended it to my family as an excellent summertime shampoo (the cool menthol feels great this Australian Christmas season!) and as a must-have cleanser. I’m curious if there is a conditioner to match it, and would certainly purchase it to make a proper set.

As someone who has an itchy, flaky, sensitive and oily scalp and thick black hair, I can assure you finding a shampoo that can tackle all of the above a difficult task. With that being said, my experience with Head & Shoulders’ new Dry Scalp Care formulation has definitely done the trick.

I’ve seen a definite reduction on flakes and my scalp hasn’t had an itch that needed to be scratched. Mind you, I used to love H&S back in the day, but either the formulation changed or my sensitivity levels changed, I couldn’t use H&S anymore, until now.

I am glad to say that I’m converted over to their new Dry Scalp formulation. While it still has SLS, it’s not over drying and it doesn’t strip the hair of its natural oils. With that being said, my hair still feels soft and clean after every rinse.

My scalp doesn’t feel irritated nor does it tingle when it comes into contact with broken skin from unconsciously scratching a little too much and a little too hard. Accompanied with the Conditioner, my hair feels soft, nourished after every wash and my scalp is better off.

Though my scalp is loving it now, who knows how it’ll react later down the track and with winter around the corner, my scalp’s condition could be worse. regardless, I’m grateful to have been a part of the REVIEWCREW and get the opportunity to try Head & Shoulders’ new Dry Scalp Care range, because I definitely wouldn’t have taken the plunge if I saw it at the shops.

Please note that everyone’s scalp condition is completely different and how it’ll react will depend on your environment, how you maintain your hair, how you style/treat your hair, and whether it’s coloured or not.

While I say this word of insight, the formulation is definitely much more gentle on my scalp and hair than any other formulation I’ve used, and I’ve used A LOT.

I was so excited to try the new head and shoulders smooth and silky shampoo as I had previously used it before, now it is labeled with up to 100% dandruff reduction and was very happy there was also another label with stating that 0% Phosphates, Parabens and Parrafins were added I could only anticipate the results would be fantastic but was also intrigued to see if the forumla delivered the same results without the nasties.

The packinging looks beautiful with a big pretty pink flower on the front. When I open the lid and sniffed the product and it smells beautiful I just used the size of a 50 Cent piece amount into my palm as I have very thick hair I need a fair amount it foamed up very well which I like.

Are use the shampoo twice as I always do two washes and it worked very well then I followed through with the new conditioner that goes with the shampoo. I love how there is a how to use description on the back of the label also that it says to use 3 days a week there’s never been a recommendation on how many days to use the product before I really like that tip.

My scalp has has been very dry, itchy and flaky for quite sometime due to climate, stress and other factors sometimes it’s very minimal other times when I brush my hair or even so much as adjust my scrunchy I have to obsessively check over my tee’s that it is clear.

After use my hair felt nice and clean, itch and visible flake free and was also really soft and manageable. It was a great piece of mind having flake free hair and not having to always check my clothes that all was clear.

I would highly recommend this shampoo for dandruff free, soft and manageable hair.

💕First I want to say that my mistake is that I have oily dandruff (which I didn’t know about), but this shampoo is for a dry one. 💕Has the consistency of glue 🤣 💕Has a nice smell 💕I’ve used it as it says on the instruction – 2/3 times a week, keep it on your scalp for 2-3 minutes (sometimes I did longer).

💕Doesn’t remove dandruff, my scalp was still itching and it felt super uncomfortable. 💕I can’t say shampoo is bad because it’s my fault for not reading and looking at what am I ordering, but be really careful, they also have shampoo for oily dandruff.

I consulted a hair and skin doctor on Clinikally and she recommended this to me. My dandruff is almost completely gone in 2 weeks. Can’t wait to take a follow-up consult.

This shampoo is great! You can notice it’s working after the first usage. You don’t have to use a large quantity to get a proper wash. I always put some shampoo and water in a glass that has cover and mix it well before I apply it on my hair.

By the third time you use it, the dandruff is all most completely gone. I strongly recommend it.

Choosing a shampoo is quite difficult for me. In addition to being bothered by dandruff, I have a greasy scalp and dry hair. This shampoo was a discovery for my hair. I found the result from the very first use.

Dandruff has been reduced, secretion of oil from scalp also reduced and most importantly, the hair was soft and healthy along its entire length. It is a product that I will recommend to everyone if they have a similar problems as my hair.

I have been using Vichy Dercos’s antidundruff shampoo for years and try this as something new. Compared to Dercos the pro side is it foams very easily, and the colour is more like average shampoo color.

But after using half bottles of this I found my hair becomes much more frizzy and easy to knot especially in windy days. And I also started to find some very, very thin hair grow out — obviously this shampoo may have effects on dandruff but hurts hair a lot.

Now I am changing back to my Dercos and adding Dercos’ strengthing shampoo to repair and recover my hair. Would not recommend. Btw I actually doubt whether this shampoo could be anti-dandruff because during my using I sometimes found 2 or 3 spots of white on my hair, don’t know if that is flake or ash.

Loved this shampoo; I don’t have dandruff but can get quite an itchy scalp. I don’t wash my hair everyday in order to avoid itching and drying out my scalp, so at most I will wash my hair every 2-3 days but this often means it gets greasy.

This shampoo was great for my scalp; not itched since first use, left my scalp feeling clean and fresh. Great subtle fragrance and a little goes a long way. I have quite fine hair and most shampoos can be too heavy but this was excellent, left it feeling weightless.

I would also go as far to say that it has helped reduce the oiliness of my hair also. Due to the price, I will probably not use constantly but more as a weekly treatment wash.

I have had acne on my forehead and I have read that this can be caused by oily hair. I bought this shampoo because it contains salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is supposed to help with acne. Results: After using this shampoo the acne on my forehead finally started clearing up.

It doesn’t clog your pores, it smells nice too! I would highly recommend the shampoo for this use! the only small issue I have is it does dry out your hair (not drastically but mildly) but I found this just means I have to condition the ends for a bit longer and it seems to work out well.

I would rather have this than acne! Overall this product is excellent.

Don’t think I’ve ever gone out my way to review something before but this really deserved it. Have been struggling with hormonal imbalance for around 8 months and made my hair go thin/fine and really oily especially at the back.

Started to get self conscious cause my hair wouldn’t even last a day after washing it before it got greasy and flat again. Found this and wasn’t expecting much but omg my hair is like the way it was before!! So happy!! Don’t know what they put in this stuff but I’m never going back! I decided to pick this shampoo up as a last resort for my oily scalp which has made me prone to painful, inflamed acne along my hairline. I’ve been using it daily and it really has decreased how limp and lifeless my hair looks everyday! My one complaint would be that it’s difficult to work the shampoo into a lather but once you get it going it covers the entire scalp really well.

It’s a little too early to see how it’s going to impact my acne, but I think that the reduction of oil on my scalp will probably help a lot! I’ll definitely be purchasing again.

For years I have suffered with dry, flaky scalp that itches. I always thought it was dandruff, but the medicated shampoos for that never worked, so I just dealt with it. My dermatologist had mentioned that it was dry scalp, but I never looked into it because it wasn’t that bad, just annoying more than anything, so I was thrilled to find out about Neopur.

I’ve been using the Neopur shampoo for dry, flaky scalp for about 2 weeks, only taking a 2 day break to see if I could tell a difference, and I did. First time using the shampoo, I loved the creamy, lotion like, texture.

It costed my hair great, although I do feel that I have to use a little more product than my other shampoos, but not much. It has a wonderful earthy, botanical scent that isn’t overpowering. The bottle recommends using for 2-5 minutes and I keep it on closer to the 5 minute mark.

I use my normal conditioner afterwards, but with how soft it makes my hair, I am tempted to try it without conditioner. With the first ruse, I noticed less itchiness, and within the third use, I noticed my hair was much softer, I didn’t have any noticeable flakes, and my head rarely itches, and if it did, flakes didn’t show up after itching.

My hair is color treated, and it’s been feeling pretty damaged, I was planning on getting a deep condition treatment, but I don’t feel the need to do that. My hair feels so much better from using this product for the short time I have been using it.

When I said I took a 2 day break, I definitely could tell. My head didn’t really itch, and I didn’t see immediate flakes return from that, but my hair texture wasn’t as soft and smooth. Other than how amazing my hair feels, I love that this shampoo is free of silicones, sulfates, and parabens.

I definitely recommend this for anyone with dry, flaky scalp. It’s amazing how quickly it worked for me and I’m so impressed with how much healthier my hair is overall. I feel like I could use this shampoo every other shower now that I’ve been using it a couple of weeks.

I will definitely continue using this shampoo, and will be replenishing mine very soon.

Писали, що багато потрібно засобу, оскільки він густий, але користуюся ним раз на 2-3 дні (перед цим мию волосся іншим шампунем) і в мене використалося майже пів банки (десь 90-100 мл). Але могла і менше використати, оскільки невелика кількість засобу добре розмилюється і потреби багато наносити немає.

Сказати, що голова швидше жирніє не можу, оскільки я завжди голову мию раз на 2-3 дні, і то в кінці 2 дня відчуваю жирність. Тим паче зараз холодна пора і постійно в шапці ходжу на вулиці. Запах не різкий, на шкіру голови приємно.

Після цього шампуню спробую інший з цієї ж лінійки.

Another wonderful Apivita product that cleans well with out harsh detergents. Nice tingly sensation on the scalp. Doesn’t moisturize ends as nicely as the other one but doesn’t leave my hair feeling like straw.

I am using this shampoo everytime I have colored hair. After decapage and extensive dying , i. e. blond and copper dyed hair, it cleanes the sculp gently and yet doesn’t affect the color. Sometimes I use it even if I don’t have dyed hair because it smells great.

I have oily sculp and when I have to clean my hair only gently, I use this if I don’t have the respective apivita shampoo. Something that I appreciate much here is that this shampoo has a big shelf life without altering the composition.
