20 Best Shampoo And Conditioner For Brazilian Weave (2023 Updated)

Got this as a sample and loved it, so I ordered the regular size. Walmart had the lowest price I could find. This product smells divine and it really helps with brushing difficult hair, especially my 10 yo, with long beautiful hair that she doesn’t brush regularly.

Not heavy like some leave-in conditioners. Very light, but gets the job done. Will buy again.

Bot both full size bottles shampoo & conditioner to treat my 60+ yr old hair that is still in fairly decent shape & long (I term the length as ” bra-strap level”) except for the I guess I would call it “frizz,” but it’s really not that bad, but I still want more sleek-ness to it.

The shampoo squeezed out of the medium-sized bottle ok to get the usual amount in my palm & it lathered up ok. When I was ready to apply the conditioner, I could hardly get anything out of the bottle easily! I had to put great pressure onto it to get even a decent amount to use.

The consistency was so super thick you would think it had a lot of moisturizing qualities once you worked it in, but no. My routine is to apply conditioner & put my hair up in a clip to allow it to work on my hair longer than just applying it & rinsing it out.

There was no improved result to the “frizz” ( I usually air dry as well so there was no effect from using a hair dryer). I didn’t notice any fragrance to either of the bottles – scent isn’t one of my priorities in hair products, if they work like they are promoted they will.

I threw out the conditioner bottle, used the shampoo with another conditioner I still had on hand & went looking for something else. Argon oil, I conclude, does nothing for my hair. Bot another brand with Avocado Oil in it & that works much better.

The problem with reviews is they are subjective, so Argon Oil in any form will be helpful to many hair textures, just not mine & as we age, the products used in one decade doesn’t work in the next. I used to have “THAT” hair like you see in every ad for shampoos & conditioners & used Classic Head & Shoulders & my super sleek, shiney hair looked Fabulous & felt the same way – compliments galore! So, I’m having a hard time getting used to my ageing hair & finding products that work on it in its present condition is by trial & error.

Reading reviews is a good start to any search, but the age of the Reviewer would also be to know. Good Luck!.

I bought this because it was recommended as an option for the curly girl method if you don’t want to completely give up using shampoo. I tried using cleansing conditioner and just found that my hair never felt clean.

I have fine, wavy 2A hair that gets greasy very quickly even though I’ve been trying to only wash my hair every 2-3 days or so for months now. I like that this shampoo still lathers because I have an OCD thing about getting a good lather in my hair (I feel like its not actually getting clean unless it lathers!) and it smells amazing, like light and sweet coconut.

A lot of other sulfate free shampoos I’ve tried either don’t lather at all or just barely. This bottle has also lasted me a few months because I have barely shoulder-length hair and only use this once or twice a week.

My hair feels clean and soft after using this. I also love that OGX is cruelty free and also very affordable! I would definitely recommend this shampoo and OGX products in general!.

Sama mám vlasy opakovaně odbarvené a s krepatostí a “rozlítaností” jsem bojovala i dlouhé roky před odbarvením. Po dvou měsících používání zhruba 2x do týdne vidím dost znatelný rozdíl, vlasy vypadají zdravější, lesklejší, uhlazenější.

Doporučuji jen v kombinaci s kondicionérem!.

I was a little scared to purchase it based on the mixed reviews, but I still did it because I’m OBSESSED with the Bum Bum cream smell. The shampoo and conditioner do leave a pleasant smell in the hair, I am on day 3 after washing my hair and it still smells.

Don’t worry, it’s really not overpowering, it just leaves a soft pleasant smell, really discrete unless you actively try to smell your hair. I will say though, I have a pretty small bathroom and it smells like Bum Bum cream just because I keep my shower products there, as one does.

The shampoo, while not really moisturizing, does leave my hair feeling clean. The condition didn’t feel as hydrating as others I’ve tried before at first, but I will say that now on day 3 my hair still feels soft and looks shiny.

All in all, it does what it’s supposed to do. It’s nothing groundbreaking, it’s not a miracle product that will heal damaged hair overnight as some would expect for that price. However I will keep purchasing it because I love the smell, and it kept my hair soft and shiny for days.

I had to come back on here to provide an update, been using this duo for about a month now. My last review was positive but I want to emphasize how great these products work! I literally dreaded doing my hair daily because it would get so tangled and I had so much fallout when I brushed it.

I purchased the shampoo and conditioner after falling in love with the signature scent. I’ve been on the hunt for a new shampoo and conditioner for a couple of years now, since Herbal Essences changed their formula in their “Color Me Happy” line.

I am not opposed to spending a lot of money on hair care when the results are smooth, silky, healthy hair. Unfortunately, that’s not what I got with this set. It’s basically just perfume with some soap added to it.

In the shower, it took a ton of shampoo to make a good lather. And even after using three full handfuls of conditioner on my medium-length hair (one is usually plenty), I couldn’t run my fingers through my hair! After showering, my hair smelled amazing, but dried a frizzy, dry mess.

It was still hard to run my fingers through my hair even when dry. I’ve used much less expensive lines than this with results that I didn’t love, but we’re still 10x better than this.

I had two foil packets of this that came with a long-ago Ulta purchase. My hair felt clean after rinsing the shampoo out and I noticed less frizz as well. The scent of this shampoo is a little heavy for me, but I didn’t notice it after leaving the shower.

I got this on sale online at Ipsy. Although it has a clean smell, not to floral or fruity, it didn’t make my hair feel any difference. Honestly, it didn’t do anything different than the $1. 50 shampoo I can get at Walmart.

I wouldn’t buy it again.

My experience with this product along with the conditioner happened about a year ago and I’ve honestly been so traumatized by it I could not even write a review to explain my experience. After the first wash, at the very beginning of the pandemic, my hair did feel a lot smoother and looked glossed and healthy.

This lasted for about a month. About 3-4 months in I was finally able to go to the same girl that has been cutting my hair for the past decade and she said my hair was in worse condition than when I was 14 and straightening my hair while it was wet.

I am not kidding at all. She told me it was the worst she had ever seen it. She went to my scalp and found CLUMPS of hair missing, as well as completely dried out and super unhealthy overall. The only thing I changed about my hair routine was this shampoo and conditioner.

This deep treatment is my favorite. I have used many deep conditioning treatments but I always catch myself coming back to this one. When you use this treatment your hair feels soft and even drys soft.

After use you don’t have to add additional product. I tell everyone about this product and everyone loves it. My mother in law for example is super picky and straight forward with things like this. She was on a mission for an amazing hair treatment.

Her friends were recommending many. She tried them and hated them. I asked her to give this one ago, she fell in love. She is on her second bottle. I just finished my third bottle. I think this product needs more attention.

ive tried this product before when i worked at the sally beauty supply store and i got it on a clearance price. other than that it was pretty expensive and probably wouldnt buy it without the sale. i did enjoy it though, i remember it making my hair feel very nice and felt stronger.

I have been using this product ever since I started bleaching my hair and it has never let me down. It is only about $8 so it is pretty affordable. I use this product as a leave in conditioner. I apply about a dime squeeze into my palm and rub it on my hands.

Then I run my hands through my hair and try to get a little bit everywhere. If you put too much in one spot it will look a little greasy so you need to be a little careful. I then brush it out to even it out throughout my hair.

This product works amazing on my hair! For reference my hair type is straight w/slight wave in certain areas. It is thick everywhere (thick strands plus tons of hair) except thinning on the very top due to alopecia.

I have natural (non-colored hair) ashy dirty blonde in color with tons of super coarse grey hair in the top front area. The length drops about 4” past my shoulders. I don’t normally have oily hair until a few days after washing, but I wanted to see how well the product would do for oily hair so I didn’t wash my hair for over a week and you could not tell my hair hadn’t been washed because this product controlled every bit of oil my hair had produced.

I got so many compliments on my hair even though I hadn’t washed it in 10 days. My most favorite way to use this product is to give the top part of my hair fullness or if I want some beachy texture throughout.

This product smells super amazing too. The number one thing I love about this is that I never have any grey/powder residue. The cost for this product is very expensive in my opinion but you don’t have to use a lot for it to work plus it actually works for me so I don’t mind splurging on it every so often.

I save this product for special occasions and use a less expensive for days I don’t mind so much how my hair looks.

Smells amazing, BUT spiders think so too. I had a spider bite my head, another bunch run towards me and the one tonight. evdrytime id change directions it would follow. Usually spiders dont do that. Theyre definitely wanting this scent.

Eeeeek! I thought my bondiboost was attracting the spiders to land my head but its this. I stopped bondiboost and have been using JUST this. now 3 spiders landed on my head tonight in 3 different spots.

Almost had a heart attack. Last week I got bit by ‘something’ on my head while asleep and it took a week to heal. I don’t know which ingredient the spiders are liking but since the scent smells like food it’s not surprising it was this one and not my bondiboost.
