I had been underweight my entire life, really struggling to gain weight. This product worked exactly as advertised, helping me gain weight and at a very affordable price when subscribing. Tasted great, especially when combined with full fat yoghurt, milk & almond butter.

HEALTH WARNING – soon after using this product, my periodic blood test showed a significant decline in kidney function. 3 months later, similar results. My consultant mentioned that these results are common in younger people who take supplementary weight/muscle gain products.

Serious Mass has helped me to go from 159 lbs. to 167 lbs. in about 2 months, and that is with half a serving a day. I went from 153 lbs. to 159 lbs. by eating more and strength training and then hit a wall.

NUTRADE WEIGHT GAINER 1600 calories per s scoops/ chocolate. If you mi with hot water it tastes pretty good. It is supposedly a weight gaining product but I am on my fourth container and have yet to see even one pound of weight gain that can be attributed to this product.

A month ago, I weighed in at 112 pounds and four weeks later I weigh in at 115 pounds however, I attribute these three pounds of weight gain to the high protein and larger amount of food intake. Two weeks ago I purchased the NUTRADE WEIGHT GAINER for about $ 17,00 and change and several days ago the price jumped by about $ 7.

Now this is something, I can review although not sure why it was recommended. Here goes. One of my grandsons had been having a hard time eating properly, so his doctor recommended my daughter try this.

He did try other drinks as well. He finally got his appetite back overall. This product to me is priced on a high end for a child. But what’s a mom to do?.

The smell of this product is AMAZING!! I always receive compliments on how good my hair smells and I won’t even be right up on a person either. It’s like the smell just drifts through the air into there nose when I walk by lol.

I also have mixed children and I have tried soooo many different products on there hair to help with frizz, dryness moisture. This is one of the products I use on there’s as well. I love the fact that it’s affordable the bottle is big! I shampoo there hair 2x a week with this brand of shampoo but I condition it every day.

I also have some of this in a squirt bottle with some water and when I style there hair I spray this mixture into there hair and it makes for a great leave in conditioner as well!.

Unlike a lot of people i’m actually on a quest to gain more weight lol. Im a size 3 trying to get up to a size 6-7 and I’ll be happy. I take this to help pack on those extra calories for my desired results.

You get what you pay extra for, a higher quality carbohydrate blend (whole oat flour+ maltodextrin vs just maltodextrin) then most other gainer shake brands. This may be a downside to some but for me this isn’t replacing my diet so there’s no need for each serving to contain a multivitamins worth of nutrients.

Also Bulk 1340 is 277g of pure maltodextrin and while true-mass contains a large amount of maltodextrin, its saving grace is the whole oat flour which should be preferred by anyone with a preference for higher quality carbs.

I used to this product for about four months on a deployment and if you stay consistant it work wonders. I weighed 165 pounds and after about three tubs I weighed 198. All these reviews on here saying it made me more lean and I packed on 50 pounds of muscle in 2 months are jokes.

This product works great but you have to put in the work to really be the person you want to be. This does help you put on the muscle and size that you want though. I imagine all the flavors are great but I have only done Straberry and Vanilla.

Strawberry is my favorite. It is a lot to take down, as it should be because you are trying to take in more calories than you are used to. It doesn’t clump up though, it mixes really well. I have only tried a couple of different mass gainers, but out of all of them this one is my favorite.

I would recommend this Mass gainer over any for the taste alone. Be consistent, put in the work, and see results.

I went through a little rough patch in life and I stopped eating, so I lost a lot of weight. I got this stuff and I went from 135 to 160 in about a month and a half. I did work out about 5-6 times a week (PPL, rest, repeat), and I was eating several meals a day as well (about 3,000+ Kcal a day).

This just made it easier for me to get all my calories in for the day fairly easily considering I was having such a hard time eating. I mix 1 scoop of powder with 2 cups of Fairlife 2% milk, and that’s about 50g of protein per shake.

Remember that this is a supplement, and it should do exactly that “supplement”. Don’t just rely on this product to gain weight because you still have to eat real food as well. Other than that the flavor is great, I get the chocolate.

Use a blender and you’ll have no issues with the texture. Oh, it did make me gassy and bloated at times, so you might want to pick up some GasX and some probiotics as well. Good luck!.

I like both the vanilla & chocolate flavor, the chocolate being my favorite. They also taste delicious together, half & half or 3:1 (chocolate to vanilla)! I’n using this to maintain my weight as I work out to change my shape, & I haven’t lost any weight but def gained.

Went through 4 tubs since Feb 2021, I had to cut back to 1 shake a day, my meal plan required 2 but I was putting on weight too fast lol. I could hardly do my workouts. I will also say it can make me extremely tired some days, so I wait till after my workout to drink it.

I also breastfeed, no side effects to baby! For an extra umph, adding a tablespoon of peanut butter gives the vanilla & chocolate flavors a coffee type taste. That strawberry cannot be saved!! Yuck.

So I’ve been taking this mass gainer for around 2 months now. I thought I’d make the investment due to struggling to get enough calories in on busy days such as when I’m at work. It’s actually been the biggest lifesaver!! Because of how my shift patterns work, sometimes I am unable to get a meal or drink in for 3-5 hours straight, which means I’d basically miss a meal.

So what I’ve been doing is mixing a shake before I start work and I sip it throughout! So instead of feeding on chocolate and other junk late at night to get the calories in this fills the void, plus with an extra 31g protein.

So I am pleased with how fast the results are. The only thing I wouldn’t suggest is consuming it with a big meal or straight after a big meal, it can make you feel very sick (my own mistake). Mixability: I’ve had no issues with thickness/clumps but I’d definitely recommend using a blender.

Due to the volume of powder needed for a serving (100g) I just feel like it goes down better when mixed in a blender, however a shaker does work. Taste: I’ve only tried chocolate smooth so far and that’s been fine to me, it tastes exactly like what it says… just smooth chocolate.

To preface, I purchased the Strawberry Cream flavor, so you may see different results with unflavored or chocolate. This gainer blend reminisces of medicine. The strawberry flavour is extremely artificial and even smells like chemicals.

I first mixed this with water, which didn’t work whatsoever. A layer of sandy residue would not mix into the drink. Next, I tried to blend it into a smoothie with frozen berries and milk. The sandy texture was still present.

Drinking this flavor made me extremely nautious, and followed with a stomach ache. The “chemically” taste left a burning sensation in my throat, which may be a result of rapid caloric consumption or just the artificial flavour.

Even smelling the powder makes me nautious. I would without a doubt stay away from strawberry. Im hesitant to try any other gainer from myprotein because I’m sure it will be similar to this. Go with a protein + oat shake instead.

If you need the calories, add some oil. It’ll taste infinitely better than this, and without a doubt be healthier. I would avoid this at all costs.

The smooth chocolate is the best tasting protein powder I’ve tried. I’ve had some of the normal weight gainer stuff in vanilla, and the vegan stuff in vanilla, strawberry and banana. The normal weight gainer stuff made me feel a little sick, and for a while I thought it might be lactose intolerance or something, so I tried the vegan stuff for a while but the texture wasn’t great.

This stuff tastes great, blends well and doesn’t make me feel sick, so I guess it wasn’t lactose intolerance that was making me feel kinda sick with the other stuff. After trying all these different powders, this one is head and shoulders above the rest.

I’m on two a day on my workout days and one a day every other day, because it’s just a really enjoyable drink. Sometimes I mix an espresso into my morning shake and it’s beautiful. Goes Well With: Oat milk, 100% peanut butter and coconut oil.

I’ll be the first to admit that when it comes to eating regularly scheduled meals I fall short most days. This product is a lifesaver when I’m lifting to ensure I’m getting enough calories a day. Most meal replacements that are this high in calories and protein tend to be thicker than pudding but I mix mine with milk (for added calories and protein) and it is an easy drink.

Love the quality BSN always brings to the table.

I used True Mass 1200 mainly for weight gain. It’s really good as a meal supplement and putting on additional mass. My only complaint is the chocolate flavor doesn’t taste great. I’ve tried with both milk and water.

With milk it’s not drinkable. Mixing the protein powder with water works best. I will continue using the protein trying out the other flavors to see if they are any better.

The last time I used this product was in 2014. I see they’ve changed the label since then. But it looks like they’re still making disingenuous claims. Like, 5000 calories? Sure, if you mix one third of the jug with 1 gallon of whole milk.

Who is going to drink all that in one day? And then they say it contains “anabolics” like Deer Antler and Yohimbe. LOL, you call those real anabolics? And even if that stuff is beneficial, do you really think they’d add enough of it to make a difference? It reminds me of bottled ice teas saying they contain ginkgo biloba or pomegranate, but the amount they give you is so miniscule it ain’t gonna accomplish anything.

My other complaint about this product is the cheap carbs. They act like glucose is high-tech, LOL. And then they say it contains “milk solids” for protein. OK, but is it whey or casein? And if it’s whey, what KIND of whey? Isolate, concentrate, or what? Why can’t they tell us? Frankly, I think the main reason people buy this stuff is the whole “Russian” allure, like as if it contains some super-secret Russian steroids or something, LOL.

I mean come on, there are MUCH better products out there. For approximately the same price per pound, you could get Ultimate Nutrition Iso Mass Xtreme Gainer, which has MUCH better ingredients. Or MHP Up Your Mass, which contains complex carbs from oats and barley.

Do not waste your money on this product. This product is now absolutely horrible. It was good before they changed the formula. They took out & lowered some vitamins and minerals. They also lowered the protein & calorie content.

It was called Russian Bear 5000 because when mixed as directed you got 5000 calories per gallon of whole milk when mixed with 5 scoops. I usually got 4 to 5 gallons from one container. You got 184 or so grams of protein mostly from egg whites & healthy fats from coconut mcts.

There was no added sugar & no fat – it even contained molybdenum. When used as directed you’d have a gallon of the stuff ready made so it was easy to just drink a cup of it or make a shake or even pancakes or bread with it.

It was even good with fat free milk, coconut, or almond milk. It was a great product. Now you don’t get 5000 calories, you don’t get 184 gms of protein, you don’t get molybdenum & other stuff. They almost completely changed the formula of something that worked for over 20 years.

Now its just powder. that makes you pee for some reason. I actually just threw 2 sealed canisters in the trash along with a half full one. They [email protected]!%ed up. I recommended it before, but not anymore. I told them this on their website too.

This stuff is the best. I use it as a meal replacement when I don’t have time to cook or am running around. It has calories, MCT’s simple carbs and it taste great. It’s been around forever. If you follow directions and train hard with a lot of compounds you’ll reap awards.

Old school, I love it. Oh, and combine it with the Russian Bear tablets and Russian Bear Nitro, it’s a trifecta of gains.

Great product with amazing results. I heal faster, build strength faster and put on muscle faster. I only recommend you use this if exercising regularly and pushing yourself everytime, otherwise you’ll be consuming a lot of unnecessary stuff.

I went from 2 chinups to 30 chinups. I’m doing one handed push-ups now too. My wife has given up her previous supplements and now only uses my Mutant Mass because of the obvious benefits and great flavours.

Vanilla mixes well with other things to create diversity in each shake. I packed on 4lbs with just one bag in a caloric surplus with training. Taste great! Could definitely tell a difference in my strength gains after the first week.

I would have one serving before my workout to help increase my carb intake before my lifts for increased energy. This stuff is also loaded with amino acids to help with recovery. Great product I plan to purchase again.

I eat really clean and burn a lot of calories in the gym so I was getting pretty lean but I was getting hungry I’m my workouts and didn’t want to use the glucose in my muscles so I started taking mass halfway through my workouts and it’s done the trick.

No more hunger or lack of energy during workouts and I’m keeping my mass on. Great flavor, a little hard on the mixing but it’s to be expected with the carbs. Overall very pleased and will continue use.

(long review) during a 45 day period of training I didn’t have supplements and the town I was in was very small and secluded. Because of my job I couldn’t just leave to go get some either. So I browsed in a store that sold a few.

This was on their shelf, before this one I had used ON’s serious mass and some other brands. I don’t really know if it was my body’s way of reacting to it but it worked pretty great. in combination with eating large healthy meals (decently healthy at least) often, I went from 153 to 171 in that month and a half.

I know this because the company I work for made me weigh in for physical fitness reasons not 2 days before Only about 6-8 pounds of that was lost within 2 weeks (because I did not sustain that eating schedule).

Now im no pro at this but at 5’9″ I felt that was pretty good. Funny enough I didn’t even consider this at any point before. At $30 dollars who could take this seriously? I didn’t but at half the amount of calories that serious mass boasts who would’ve? Either way do recommend for a good and cheap way for gaining mass, with a good eating schedule of course.

It did cause some intestinal discomfort but if you’re trying to gain weight if you’re comfortable after you just ate. you didn’t eat enough.

I was looking to add a gainer to my daily supplement regimen and found this product’s nutritional values to align with my needs. I have been using BSN Syntha 6 for a couple years with excellent results and no negative side affects.

Upon receiving this product and trying it for the first 2-3 times, it caused me severe GI discomfort, and I was only doing the lighter recommended serving size of 2 scoops 1-2 times daily. Temporary digestive discomfort is of course typical of adding a new protein product to your diet, especially with a mass gainer like this, and I expected the discomfort to go away after the first few days of use.

However, after about 10 uses, my discomfort did not subside. In fact it worsened and I have since stopped using the product and am actively researching another one. Everyone’s body is different and I wouldn’t say that I have a weak or sensitive stomach, but this product is definitely not for me.

I love that this gainer has no Creatine. Unfortunately I am one of the few who is sensitive to Creatine and it is hard to find a gainer without it. I take 1 and a half scoops of this for what I need.

I am doing a 4 day split with about 12 exercises per day and 3 supersets with in the work out of 3 sets 9 reps and about 20 minutes of aerobics. I like that this will replenish the carbs and give instant BCAA’s for recovery so I am not so blasted and flat the rest of the day.

It is also hard to find a complete list of extra minerals as well including iron in a protien powder, I bought it for all these reasons. I use it for post workout only and I really like the results.

I enjoy shopping at vitasave. ca because the prices are great and the quality of the products is always consistent. I recently ordered a Mutant Mass and I was not disappointed. The flavour is amazing and it really helps me reach my daily protein goals.

I’ve used this stuff for years now and swear by it. This is probably the absolute cleanest, best tasting, and result producing mass gainer on the market. It only contains what you need and is a true to description supplement (unlike many hyped up other ones).

For years I struggled with gaining weight even with a solid routine with strenuous lifting 5x a week. I previously tried a TON of other ‘weight gainer’ shakes and couldn’t stomach them or stick with them as they were thicker than syrup and recommended around 3,000 cals in one serving with 3 total in a day.

Drop the other nonsense weight gainers that suggest drinking like half a gallon of their product in one sitting. Get this, stick with it and you’ll see the difference in quality.

I used this whilst doing Jim Stoppani’s 12 weeks shortcut to size program and went from a skinny 164lb to a more muscular 180lb. I hadn’t trained seriously for over a year so that probably explained some of the muscle gain but this protein powder is good if you’re like me and struggle to gain weight and muscle.

I had 3 scoops per serving, one mid-morning, one post-workout and another in the evening. I like the ingredient list, it is pretty clean and doesn’t have any nasty additives. I like the taste. I’ve tried both the cookies and cream and chocolate ice cream.

It mixes pretty well. It leaves a few small lumps in the shaker if you go for the full 3 scoops at a time, but 2 scoops there are no issues. No bloating either. I now use it mostly to maintain weight as either a mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack.

I’d recommend you give this product a go if you’re looking to bulk up.

Got the Cookies & Cream a few months ago. I use three scoops daily with whole milk and drink half in the morning and half in the early afternoon. About a month and a half in, with consistent lifting/exercise 4-6 days a week, I put on about 16lbs and very little fat.

If I was a bit more strict with my diet and hit more of my sprint workouts, I don’t think that fat addition would have happened. Most importantly, I felt great. I really needed the extra calories which can be tough to squeeze in with my job.

The shake itself is the best tasting supplement I’ve ever had. In fact, I found it hard not to have a second one later at night for a snack. Once I hit my weight goals, I throttled back, drinking one on my heavy workout/work days.

The 10lb bag has lasted me forever. At least 2. 5+ months by doing it this way. Look and feel great and I’m buying a second 10lb bag. Cookies and Cream all the way.

Taste pretty good, cold or not. It’s a little expensive. I wish they have powder option to save a little money. My wife loves it, so I guess it’s worth the price. Helps her with gaining some weight. However, overtime, i guess these cost could add up.

This is an excellent meal replacement, or supplemental meal to get your daily calorie intake up. The taste is great, very much like a milkshake when mixed with milk. It blends very well, though make sure you use either a large enough shaker (otherwise some may stick to the underside of the drinking spout and will require some additional shaking) or use a blender.

I personally recommend splitting the servings into two single scoop servings, split throughout the day. I like to do 12oz of milk with one scoop in the morning after a workout, and another identical shake after my dinner, sort of like a dessert.

Not sure why people don’t like the vanilla I love it!!! Just now as excited to try the other flavours of vanilla is said to be the worst ha! I absolutely love this shake and how much calories I can get from just one drink!! I struggle to gain weight (appetite and fast metabolism issues) and this is THE best I have ever tried.

I love how it does not have all of that nonsense thickening agents (guar gum, xanthan gum, etc) that makes protein shakes taste terrible! It does what it’s supposed to as long as you follow the servings. This is my second time using it consistently first time me starting weighing at 6’1 145. 8 months of lifting and drinking these daily.

And I’ve managed to put on almost 10 pounds in 2 months. Doing the same thing as the first time. Drinking 1-2 a day and going to the gym and blasting myself. Be weary though, it’s a bit rough on the taste, I always try to add a good amount of ice to mine I think it helps the chocolate go down.

I also noticed that on my first time through my cholesterol was elevated from around month 6 til I stopped taking it. I assume because I was beating on my body for a while that’s why it started to elevate.

This is probably best used for a 2-3 month time span.

My husband has some digestive issues that have been causing weight loss and it’s hard for him to eat enough to keep on weight. I have had trouble finding vegan mass gainer in the past but was glad to find this option.

Simple ingredients, my husband really likes the taste, he has been putting on weight finally and he says he feels really good. All those Amino acids are really helping keep his nutrition levels up. He was having trouble eating enough food, so being able to drink a good portion of the calories has been really helpful.

He takes 2 scoops 2-3 times a day along with his food and I’m happy to say he’s putting on weight! Thank you for this amazing product! I got the vanilla and chocolate and both are great! Will definitely keep this in stock.

Okay so it definitely does have a taste. It’s similar to the taste of powdered baby milk but much more concentrated. Also 4 scoops per serving is a lot, BUT this weight gainer does the job! I blend the powder in with a lot of fruit and a bit of honey and it makes the taste much more bearable.

After drinking the gainer I don’t get any stomach aches or uncomfortable bloating like I do with whey gainers. I also don’t get a weird full feeling so if I want, I can also have a small meal/snack after.

Although a bit pricey, I’ll definitely get this again and suggest it for anyone having trouble putting on or keeping on weight. Great meal replacer or can be used to supplement your diet. Love it!.

I’ll begin with positives: I was ecstatic to find a protein powder without all of the “fluff. ” I was even more pleased with how well this powered mixed with almond milk, oat milk, and my fruit smoothies.

There was never any grittiness or chalkiness. Unfortunately, even with me intaking a full serving, consistently, I’ve merely gained two pounds. The full serving has been in addition to my daily 2000+ diet.

I have. I underlying health conditions that would prevent me from gaining weight with the additional calories and I have a mid-high metabolism. Quite disappointed.

I was looking for a natural gainer that my 14yr old son would like enough to drink regularly. He’s a bean pole and is involved in track – but there’s just no fat to convert for energy (which means his body would be looking at using his muscle – urgh).

The DR even made it a point to mention his low BMI. The problem I have with most the mass gainers is that they’re chock full of unnatural or suspect ingredients, like aspartame – things I don’t want my kids to be eating regularly.

I like the ingredients in this AND both my boys LOVE the taste. They like it so much that they don’t forget to drink it. I don’t have to remind them, ever. That’s huge bc we’re in that fostering responsible independence stage.

So, I’m stoked. I got the French Vanilla bc I thought with as much as he needs to be drinking it, it might be more versatile than the chocolate. I’m glad I did bc it tastes like ice cream and he loves it in both milk (plain cow and chocolate almond) and juice.

Just adds more options, keeps him from getting too bored with it. Mixes better than most. I add a little liquid to the the 2 huge scoops and beat it with a fork, then I add the rest of the liquid. It’d be even easier with the proper cup (with a wire metal ball).

When I’m rushed and the boys end up with a lot of the mix still on the sides of the cup they scrape it off and eat it; they like the taste that much. I just don’t think you can go wrong with this gainer.

My elderly father had a hard time eating enough, and started falling in part because he got weak from not eating and drinking enough. It got so bad that he ended up in the ER and then was admitted as inpatient.

At the hospital, they started giving him Ensure and said he should continue drinking it once he goes back home. I showed the hospital nutritionist the contents of the MRM Gainer to see if that would work instead, and she said it was almost exactly the same thing as insure, except that it’s even better since it has probiotics.

My 18 year old son is taking it as part of his body building diet and loves the chocolate taste (I don’t subscribe to that purpose but I’m encouraged by the fact that it’s the same thing as Ensure).
