I have always wanted a roman shade and now I have one. First off, the shade is very well made, all the stitching is perfect. It really is total balckout! I put it in my sons room since he gets the summer afternoon sun and it really heats up his room, with this shade it’s nice and dark in the and it keeps his room cool.

This is a stylish shade that will make your room look modern. It is so much better than those plastic blinds. There are no cords to get tangled and easier to clean. I am not used to being the handyman in my home, but just follow the clear directions and you can put this shade up on any window.

I thought the directions and images were clear and easy to follow. And you can detach the top of the shade for easy access to the hardware by using the velcro fasteners and to give the top of the shade a shake to clean off dust.

Although the entire shade cannot be removed. My shade is outside the window and they give you options to install inside the frame or outside. Once the shade is installed, you are ready to use, and it’s so easy.

The fabric reminds me of a heavy drape. The thickness is similar to that and I like the texture of the fabric. There are no cords or visible pulls of any kind. Just the beautiful fabric shade. To use, just find the plastic o ring behind the shade.

Pull once and drag down to where you want the shade. To put up, just tug on the ring twice and it slowly goes up on its own and folds itself into the pleats. It’s easy to clean by using a vacuum or by detaching the velcro from the top and giving a shake to release the dust.

I would love this shade for all my windows and they come in different colors. I have raised and lowered this shade many times with no issues and don’t ever see that I will have trouble in the future! This would be a great gift for anyone! It also does keep the sun from shining directly in my room if I decide to sleep in.

I thought it was about time to do some redecorating in my son’s room, since he took over what was once my granddaughter’s room. It was still brightly colored in purple and hot pink, with hearts and swirls just like any young teen girl would love.

Armed with paint and new curtains, we set about making it right, but it needed help in the form of shades to block out the light. This room gets the morning light with a vengeance and needs a room darkening curtain or shade.

He didn’t want to have curtains drawn all of the time, so we chose these Madison Park Como Printed Faux Silk Room Darkening Cordless Roman Shades. They are really nice looking, with the look of silk but not the price tag.

They keep out the light really well because they have thermal coating on the backing to keep the light from penetrating them. And they’re easy to install right out of the box, which always makes me happy! They are easy to keep clean and can be adjusted to let the light in if you like.

They come in several sizes and are fairly affordable. I love mine and I think my son likes them as well.

It’s really pretty. Seems like good quality. However, the product details say that you don’t need to use any tools to hang it. Yeah it came with screws and anchors, not really sure who can hang anything with screws and anchors without a drill or a screwdriver.

Also it has absolutely no instructions and I have never seen these types of hardware before that I have to screw in to my wall. I was hoping it would hang up much like regular blinds, however I’m not sure how any of the holes are supposed to line up.

And without instructions I now have a b Roman shade that I paid almost $100 for that I can’t use.

This Zebra Blind is the Best window treatment I have ever purchased. Beautifully made and VERY easy to install. Light touch to roll either up or down, perfect in every way! I look forward to replacing other windows with the Zebra Blind.

I read several reviews and the individuals who tried to ‘inside mount’ made a bad choice and can’t blame the company. These individuals didn’t read all the information and could have saved themselves their disappointment.

Vent on the cheapest vinyl roller shades when installed inside the window will have a gap on either end, the mechanical ends need their space, it’s common sense to not know that. These individuals need to have Professional install if this simple install is too much for them to handle.

I used this shade in my laundry room that gets some western exposure. Wanted light in morning and darken afternoon and night. It works well now, however some issues out of the box. The shade itself had come apart.

The top gears are made of plastic and the attachments at the top of the rod had pushed in so the shade wouldn’t stay together or attach. We worked through it, pulled out the tab ends on the roller part, attached to the top and worked a bit on the gear so it would go up and down.

Note, as stated on the description, only pull on the bottom and it goes up and down SLOWLY. But if you plan to just switch between open sunlight and closed (versus raising all the way up) it should work fine.

Blinds are very thin. They don’t filter light as thought. You have to be very careful moving blinds up/down. The blind came off the roller and detached after rolling up and down. Thankfully we were able to fix after we took blind down to figure out why they were not working properly.

Wish they were thicker. Unfortunately, I don’t think they will last long :-(.

Easy to install. Works well and blocks out all light. Had a VERY heavy plastic smell to the material which lingered for a couple of weeks and you can still smell when up close. In the pictures the material looks more natural and textured, however I was disappointed to find that it was very plastic looking and shiny when it arrived.

From afar it doesn’t look too bad though.

Really like these, block out light and have a nice light color themselves. Most shades arrives with the color double-sided, but one arrived with a white backing – I need to contact wayfair about this.

Overall I am quite pleased.

We were looking for a fan that would enhance the tropical feel we are going for in our family room and also match the oiled bronze fixtures in the attached kitchen. This fan could not have been more perfect.

We love the fact that even the motor is decorated with a leaf pattern, and even though the fan blades are not really wood, you could never tell it. There is a wood grain as well as a stain that makes it look very real Feels like we are in Casablanca!! It was easy to install, and is very quiet.

Pros: Good value (could have been more expensive and it would be worth it. ), Looks just like real wood, the wood decoration around the motor covers what would be just a metal base. Very nice bronze finish.

These shades are well made, but the color online does not match the actual color. The dominant color is more beige than white. Also, I bought 2 sets and one was missing the hardware. When I called to get the hardware I was told that it won’t be available for several months and so I was given a refund on one set.

This shade has a decent weight to it. It’s strong enough to withstand the most agile cat. It was easy to install. It was easy to operate. It does keep it the sun as promised. My room reached and maintained its goal temperature, which didn’t happen prior to installation.

Prior to putting this shade up, I had my thermostat set to 75. Not once during the day did it manage to get that low. Since installing, it gets to 74/75. Not only does this shade perform perfectly, it’s stylish and will work with most decor.

They do have other colors so it’s a win win.

We have only had it up for a few days so jury is still out on it’s durability long term. However pros so far: Great light blocking and aesthetically appealing. Cons: Pull handle is in an awkward position.

It is in the back when it should be on the bottom. Also the way it rolls up and the pole bracings are a little flimsy. Not sure retail cost of this however if it was reasonably priced I would probably by it.

If it’s super expensive I’m not sure I would.

This shade is very beautiful but, The installation of the shade is difficult to understand. The function of the shade is easy just pull up pull down. The fabric of the shade is very nice. We really just didn’t like the way it installed and the instructions to need to be more understandable.

You reach in behind the shade to pull it up or down. The plastic rods that go across can fall out and they could possibly break easily.

I am impressed by the quality and upscale look of the fabric for such a reasonable price. Installation was a breeze and the shades open and close smoothly. I would definitely recommend this product and may purchase more again!.

I’m very impressed with my Roman Shade! The package includes the beautiful fabric covering, as well as the hardware needed to hang it in place. The material is of high quality and feels luxurious. The champagne color compliments my decor wonderfully and added a beautiful focal point in my bathroom.

The design is well-centered and adds a touch of class. The edges and seams are properly finished, no rough edges. It is easy to open and close, glides as it should. Installation was rather simple and could be completed in a short amount of time with minimal effort.

The Eclipse Carlton Damask 100% total blackout 27” cordless Ronan shade is a must have for any home. It keeps out the sunlight when down, while also keeping the temperature just right. We have drafty windows, so it’s helping keep the cold elements from outside from not coming in through the window.

This product is also easy for everyone to maneuver. The pets don’t even mess with it! I can’t wait to buy more for the other windows.

I wasn’t sure this shade would work with my window as it’s smaller than most. I was pleasantly surprised that I could hang it over the top and it worked out perfectly. It’s a nice weight fabric and really pretty.

I was not sure about getting these shades because I wanted a good quality item so I also purchased shades from two other companies just in case. The Big Lots shades were about 1/2 the price so I was expecting 1/2 the quality.

It took these over a week longer to get here so I had pretty much decided on one of the others. When they arrived I could not believe how great the quality was from the others, the build, the fabric, the way they worked.

I am so glad I gave these a chance, I will be putting them up on widows around my house now. Oh, one of the other benefits is -one of the shades I got is about an inch too big, I know I will have no problem returning it- although now I am going to have to wait another 10 days before I actually get it!.

I bought this in the toast (tan) color to fit over the half window in my back door. It arrived a day earlier than projected, so in just 2 days, even with regular shipping. I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice the fabric is.

It seems to be a lightweight woven canvas type of fabric, lined, with different tones of tans in it, not flat like it looks in the photo. There is a roller mechanism in the back with a strong sheer material to raise and lower the blind.

The whole thing is well done and much better quality than I thought I would get for the price. I don’t think that I could have paid more and gotten anything better.

I ordered four for a big window I have by my couches. I decided to mount on the outside so it would have more coverage. You can also mount on the inside. One of the shades I received had a dent on the roller and didn’t work at all but I ordered another one and took the broken one back to the store which they were happy to return.

Well worth the money!! Great quality!! They look expensive! Only downfall is that they don’t look that flattering from the outside but not a big deal!!! Buy them!!! Hope this helps!.

Very pretty! The morning sunlight shines peeks through in a very delicate way and gives a glow of coziness. We were looking for warmth and an at-home feeling — not blackout — so this was perfect for our enclosed black porch.

Our children were happy it is easier to raise and lower.

These blinds were on sale so I’m not complaining about the price. They installed easily except the instructions to adjust the height were not very helpful. They look good and allow light to come through so if you are looking for room darkening shades, this isn’t the right choice!.

Perhaps I didn’t read the product description too well because the material looks cheap, very “plastic’ish”. The product photo looked better than what it really is. But it was easy to hang.

I like that these are vinyl – easy to clean and wont fade. One came with knotted cords – but with about an hr of time we got it fixed.

I purchased 7 Levelor Room Darkening roller shades for windows in our new addition. I am pleased with the quality of the fabric, the mechanism and the customer service I received. I chose shades with the pull-down feature and one with a chain because of the height of the window.

I found the shades do an excellent job blocking out the sun and light when we have guests visiting. The valences are of decent quality If you are using one valence per window. However, we used 3 shades side by side for a group of windows which have limited spaces between them so we did not put corners on the middle valence or the inside corner of each of the outer valences.

Consequently, those valences bend in slightly and I’m hoping to find a piece of metal which I can insert along the back to improve how they lay. Customer service was unable to help me with this problem.

Even though I measured and used the online features, I found calling customer service to be very helpful before ordering. Customer service had information about the actual size of the fabric which would cover our outside mount shades so that light would not show through the sides.

That helped me order more accurately the size of shades I needed. Finally, my husband and I found the installation directions to be limiting in addressing problems when mounting the shades. The videos were useless.

There may be YouTube videos which are more helpful but we’re DIY people and figured out how to best install them. We chose an outside mount so that the wood window trim showed and wasn’t covered by the roller shade or the valence.

I have very low requirements for these particular blinds, they needed to be a white or off white and room darkening or blackout. These Levolor seem to fit the bill. After a multiple week manufacturing delay and another multiple week installation delay, the install finally happened and wow am I disappointed.

The blinds. com order team told me it was required to split the headrail based on the size of my window and I have no other option. I said ok, thinking the split will be similar in size to the blinds I’m replacing which more or less met in the middle and there was not much of a gap from the split.

These blinds have a huge split in the center, at least 3/4 of an inch and let a significant amount of light in, obviously. My installer told me that he has easily installed blinds of my window size on a single headrail which would eliminate the need for the gap, or as evidenced by the blinds I’m replacing, other companies manage to reduce the gap to keep the integrity of the blinds.

I don’t understand the point of blinds that have a 3/4″ gap as you can easily see through it and the light comes through so they are no longer room darkening. These are my major issues but smaller issues I have – the chain is an awkward 2/3 size so it doesn’t line up to the window evenly and the wall mound for the chains are an ugly large plastic piece.

The cassette also looks quite cheap. Overall, would not recommend.

I’m a new homeowner fixing up a small home. Completely unsure how to put things together. Wanted a nice clean look for a mid century style. They came out excellent. It’s a high window and the sun is blinding at end of day.

So the dark shades made room tolerable. And no one would make two blinds on one rod. So if I want to open half I can. It’s prefect for my needs. When I finish other rooms I’ll be ordering more.

Bought 4 of these around a month ago, 2 for bedroom and 2 for my entertainment room with big TVs. Was skeptical if it would actually help keep my bedroom cooler. Man it not only helped keep the temperature nice but in total black out adjustment I accidentally slept until noon one day and was supposed to be up at 730am lol.

These Sun Zero blackout shades are wonderful! I have a hard time sleeping due to severe sleep issues, and most days as soon as the sun starts coming up, it wakes me up. It’s very bright and sunny here in Florida, so even with my regular blinds closed it gets very bright right at sunrise.
