Best Shades Eq Blonde Formulas (2024 Updated)

Just like the High Bright pre-treatment and shampoo, this conditioner is a stellar product! I’m so happy Influenster sent this to me otherwise I may not have tried this line. I was a big Redken fan years ago, but have just wanted to try so many other big lines and new products that I hadn’t gone back to Redken.

These products used together are absolutely effective and love you to the claim of bight blonde results. My community well water leaves trace mineral deposits that full my hair and also make it feel brittle, so when I go to my hair girl every 12 weeks she works hard to bleach and tone me (my ends especially) to brighten me up again.

I’m a level 9/10, so any products that help are a big plus. What I love about this product is not only the beautiful package and lovely unisex scent, but this conditioner has no toning elements it’s white not blue/purple, and it’s thick like a mask instead of a typical conditioner.

I apply after shampooing and let sit for 5-10 minutes while I finish up my shower and rinse out right at the end. Oh my gosh this not only makes my hair look bright and shiny, but My hair is so so soft and smooth.

I’m shocked. My hair is softer than it has been in a very long time, even though I use other prestigious hair care products that claim to hydrate. My ends especially need extra moisture and wow do they look great.

Regardless if I heat style or air dry, my hair looks smooth with less frizz than before, and so soft. I’m obsessed! I will definitely repurchase. As mentioned these products have been great so far and I look forward to how bright my hair reminds after 10 more week of use ahead of my next hair appt! I honestly would pay $50 for this product, happily.

This product works best in conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner! I have only tried these products together and not separately so my review is based on the outcome I was able to achieve with this entire Redken trio! Since this pre treatment does require some time to sit and process do this when you have some time and aren’t in a rush.

I let it sit on my damp, unwashed hair while I also did a face mask, body scrub and shaved. By the time all that was done it was about 8 mins. I then washed my hair with the Redken shampoo and conditioner as the directions on the bottle advised.

After using the shampoo and conditioner without this pre treatment it’s definitely evident that the pre treatment plays a major role in the brightening process of this system. Overall after I dried and styled my hair, I looked just like it would if I were to go to the salon for a tone and glaze! It cut out brassy tones and gave my hair a nice healthy shine and overall brightness to my blonde.

My hair felt healthy and soft as well after using this! This is great in between salon visits! The only reason for 4 starts instead of 5, is only because of the spray pump applicator. I wish there was a different method of application instead of the spray pump.

I felt like I ended up using way too much of this product because it was very hard to evenly distribute throughout my entire head from roots to end. If the spray pump was more of a mister and sprayed a larger area of hair I think that may have helped as well.

Other than that I very impressed and would definitely buy this again!.

The product has a citrus like aroma. Normally I like a citrus scent, but I did not like this one. I wasn’t planning to purchase it again, but my mom commented on the color of my hair being lighter and more attractive! She had no idea that I had used something new on my hair! I’m willing to overlook the aroma, since the product does make my blonde color a tad lighter.

I’ve already purchased this product again!.

I decided to try the travel size first because I was skeptical. I’ve had products either not work at all or leave a purplish tint to my hair. This does not! My hair feels great! It really brightens it up and isn’t heavy at all! My hair doesn’t feel like I have a ton of product in it! I just use other products for heat and frizz protection because my hair is long and I don’t want to damage it.

I have really light blonde hair and the area I live in has very hard water that makes it dull id I don’t use good products. Highly recommend!.

This product is great at toning, it does give instant results and works better than any purple shampoo or conditioner I have ever tried, and I have tried just about all of them!!!! The other thing I love about this product is you can see where you’re applying it when I’m brushing out my hair if I see a spot that looks brassy I can focus more on that one spot unlike with shampoo and conditioners.

This is the product I have been searching for for years to achieve the results I want without having to go the salon. And id like to mention I use this heavily and it has never turned my hair purple, I always get that beautiful platinum/silver tone.

Be prepared for temporarily stained hands. I believe it does say on the bottle to wear gloves but who has time for that? It fades away quickly from skin don’t worry. Wow is this mask intensely pigmented! I use on towel dried hair, and apply quite a bit to make sure it’s well distributed roots to ends.

After 10 minutes I rinse with cool water and continue styling. Very effective at eliminating brass and giving my blonde hair a beautiful cool hue. It is also somewhat hydrating but definitely not a mask I would consider an intense moisture mask.

I will say- if your hair isn’t a level 9 or blonder- this probably won’t have much effect on color of your hair. I have level 10 and it works so well, and my hair is perfectly bright! I have used [brand:redken] products in and off over the past 15 years, and never am I disappointed with the quality.

Don’t mind the way mine looks, my bottle is pretty beat up.

I actually purchase this shampoo in the 33. 8 fl oz version because it is THAT GOOD. It lasts 6-8 months minimum for me, used 2-3 times a week. I have tried every other purple shampoo out there, but keep going back to this one.

My hair is very platinum/silver/gray (I am super picky with my color and absolutely HATE any warm, yellow, orange, brassy tones) so it requires a LOT of upkeep in between salon visits. This combats any yellow/brassy tones that start to peek through like no other, and always keeps my hair looking freshly bleached/toned and white like I prefer and love.

It does dry my hair out a bit, but combined with the Blondage purple conditioner and other conditioning treatments, my hair is always left looking and feeling amazing. P. S. Mix this/alternate with the Redken Color Extend Graydient shampoo and conditioner, and you have yourself a perfect recipe for beautifully platinum/white blonde hair.

I just used this mask for the first time last night. I’m 32 and have been a few steps down from platinum my entire life, so I’m very familiar with almost every purple shampoo, conditioner, leave in, toner, mask.

etc. I was using Purology purple shampoo which is a nice product, but ultimately drying. I just cut 5 inches off of my length, so I really don’t want any extra damage or dryness. This mask made it look like I had gotten a toner or glaze all in about 7 minutes.

I was amazed. I dampened my hair, ,used a conditioning mask, rinsed, shampooed, towel dried, applied the mask EVENLY- and then combed through w/ a wide tooth comb avoiding my scalp. Since I wore gloves it was easy to apply a little extra to the front money pieces for some targeted highlights.

It says to leave on for 5-10 minutes, and this is definitely not one to leave on for the whole shower, shave, etc. I did a total of about 7-8 minutes and that was absolutely the perfect amount of time for this to be effective.

After I rinsed my hair I added some moisture back to it, and prepped as usual and was amazed at the tone and the shine. This is an amazing product if you use it the correct way; and I used about a quarter sized amount for my entire head, so this should last a pretty long time! If you’re blonde, you should try this!.

This product worked but my hair didnt get as toned as I hoped it would. Im also wondering if I left the bleach on my hair long enough or if I just need to bleach in stages. All in all, I am happy; after bleaching my hair it was bright yellow and this product toned it to a much more natural looking color.

I plan to wait 10 days and bleach again and tone again using the same products. I imagine I will get the results I am looking for. Using coconut oil to coat my hair prior to bleaching and then using Blond Me bleach powder, Blond Me volume 20 developer, and Blond Me Toner in Ice, my hair stayed nice and healthy.

Virtually no damage. I expect a little damage from the second bleaching but that is yet to be seen.

Beautiful toner. Made my hair icy white and so pretty. Worked very well. The price is amazing and you don’t have to be a professional to get professional product. One of my favorite toners. Will buy again.

Best toner I’ve ever used! I tried some others from Pravana but nothing gets me as Icy as BlondMe. It’s a must do step after bleaching if you don’t want to be brassy brassy brassy. I highly recommend this line of toners from BlondMe.

I’ve used Ice and Steel Blue.

I mixed equal parts Satin 7A and Satin 6N, about 50/50 with Satin Demi developer for my roots. Then mixed another bowl of Satin 7A and Satin 8N for the rest of my shoulder length hair to cover grow out that became too light and brassy.

I’m naturally about these levels, but years of coloring and grow out gets dry and multi colored brassy leaning towards level 8/9 on ends. Roots about 20% grey. Results: nice color blend and coverage, natural looking with some gold reflections.

Not orange or cherry coke or violet, no green from the ash. Did roots first with a brush, then mid section with gloved hands. I quickly mixed some 9A for ends but didn’t really need it. Roots about 30 minutes, mid about 25, ends 15.

I’ll do this again and leave it on longer now that I know I like it. Very pleased, very natural looking. Might pop a few highlights in around my face soon. But lots of dimension just with these colors.

Nice mid range light brunette. Hair feels very soft after only 1 wash out shampoo condition. Much richer truer brown than ion or wella. I find wella pulls really cherry/orange on me. Good luck.

I started using Ultra Vivid Fashion Color 3N about 5 years ago when I couldn’t find the brand I had previously used. At first, I declined using it when a sales women at a beauty supply store recommended it.

After seeing it in the 3rd beauty supply store I stopped in, I decided to give it a try. I decided it’s only hair. Right?? What I loved about it first was the fact it came in a large tube of 3oz. I also liked the idea of it being Aloe Vera based low ammonia cream hair color on the market.

Once I realized it was carried in all 4 of the beauty supply store’s in my area, well I didn’t feel as nervous to try it out. I also might add the price was very appealing, between $9 and $10 dollars! My hair is long and medium in thickness.

I’d say the length is close to my lower back. I do have some gray hair, more than I’ll admit too😉. Mixing the Satin Hair Color with the developer I used a 1oz Satin Hair Color to 1oz developer ratio just like the direction stated on the box.

I followed the directions for gray coverage otherwise the ratio is different. Since I was depositing hair color and not lifting, I used a 5 volume so my hair wouldn’t get damaged or fried in the color process! I purchased a hair color bottle with measurements stated on bottle and started with measuring out 3oz of developer and then added the Satin Hair Color.

After shaking for a minute the bottle started turning a light brown color. I then checked the measurement in the bottle and I had exactly 6oz. Application was pretty straightforward for those who’ve colored their own hair.

The hair color once mixed was not to thin or to thick and came out very easily. It will however stain anything it comes into contact with. I have noticed I can get it off most anything except wood doors, floor, and countertops take awhile before your rid of it, so apply with caution.

Once applied I left hair Color on hair for the full 45 minutes. I also used a plastic cap once I finished apply hair color. When it was time to wash I first rinsed my hair very well,shampooed twice, and put on a 3 minute conditioner.

Color easily washed out of bathtub And bathtub walls. After, I styled as usual. What I noticed immediately was my hair was vibrant and had a good shine also I couldn’t get over how soft it was for being colored and it smelled amazing.

The corned lasts a good amount of time. I normally need to redo my grow out every 6 weeks. I have absolutely ZERO complaints when it comes to Satin Hair Color Vivid Fashion. It is a product I highly recommend and have used nothing else in 5 years!!.

The whole Developus/Satin line is extraordinary. I discovered it in a small beauty supply store in Sherman Oaks California that sells to a lot of movie and television hair and make up professionals. I was standing next to a woman who stood with about thirty boxes of Satin and who was the lead stylist for the TV series, Friends.

The colors are stunning, but the shine is over the top, probably due to the aloe vera/silicon components. Make sure you use the Developus developer along with the Satin color. Developus makes a developer formulated especially for gray hair.

I do my own color, but have my hair cut by a very good stylus. That saves me about $125 at the salon. Based on his observation of my color, my hair’s luster, and how well Satin handles gray hair, he started using it in his salon.

It’s actually targeted for professional use. I was lucky to find it.

I was really excited for the extreme lengths system because I have pretty fine, thin, breakage prone hair. I also feel like more recently my hair has been thinning. The Redken Extreme Length Conditioner is meant to be paired with the other products in the system- which I have been doing.

I have been using the conditioner after shampooing and using the Triple Action Treatment from the Extreme Length system. I had anticipated after shampooing, using the treatment for 5 minutes, then conditioning, that my hair would feel heavy and weighed down.

It doesn’t at all! It feels so silky and smooth both while wet and dry after styling! The scent is nice! I don’t LOVE it, but I also don’t hate it!! I would say it isn’t my style of fragrance- but the scent isn’t overpowering and doesn’t linger too long anyway, so I don’t mind it at all.

Plus I’ll happily sacrifice the ideal scent for the way this system makes my hair feel! Then ingredients seem great! (I’m not one who usually is going over shampoo ingredients with a fine tooth comb anyway, but I know Biotin is good for hair growth so that’s a plus! I waited until the last minute to review because I really wanted to give a legitimate review of my experience.

I’ve been exclusively using this line for 3 weeks and immediately after my first use, my hair honestly felt stronger! Everytime I use this system it feels like I went to the salon and got a cut. My hair feels lightweight, yet more dense if that makes sense? Very silky and smooth.

I would definitely recommend this product to others, and actually already have! When mine runs out I will for sure be buying some more!.

Let me start by saying my hair has no dye or product in it so this product review is based on natural hair response. This is an impressive conditioner from Redken, geared toward length and strength. If those are two hair qualities you are seeking for yourself, then this is the hair line for you! Firstly, I love that this product has such a payoff, for so little a price to pay.

I’ve tried conditioner from all price ranges, including the very expensive raved about MLM type brands. This Redken lengthen and strengthen beats that easily! This shampoo left my hair feeling quenched BUT not oily or heavy, which has been a huge problem for me.

Most conditioner weigh my hair down and make it look too shiny. My hair feels fresh and bouncy, I’ve noticed significant improvements with the movement and structure of my curls. The biggest payoff for me is that this product has helped my curls stay structured longer!! Previously my hair would dry curly and cute, but the curls would immediately fall or frizz out with a day/ponytail/sleeping.

Not with Redken lengthen and strengthen though! I cannot believe how helpful this has been. I genuinely did not have any expectation of huge payoff and boy was I impressed! I see myself sticking with this haircare line for the foreseeable future.

Before I go in depth I’d like to say that I had high expectations for this shampoo. Smelt great and it seems like all the positive reviews sold me. At first, I did not have an issue with the products a little went a long way.

The more I used it though I started to notice my hair was falling out. What seemed like chunks stripping away when I washed my hair and brushed it. I have naturally curly on the thin side hair and that was probably my mistake.

I’ve only used these products about 7-8 ish times or so and would wash my hair after 4 days or so considering my hair is processed and dyed. Tonight was my last straw with this product. While I was washing my hair and conditioning it / brushing out, hair would keep stripping away and I think I’ve have had it.

I feel like at this point I’m just ruining my hair and should’ve just listened to the other reviews. Do yourselves a favor and do some research or find alternatives to achieve natural hair growth. I feel like this will only help people with thicker hair.

I’ve had enough of psyching myself out after this experience. Hopefully it helps anyone who is concerned on wether or not purchasing.

My hair is naturally really dark brown but has been bleached heavily to get platinum so very damaged. I used this dye over faded dark red brown and I’m in love. It’s more red than my previous red which I adore because I didn’t think it would be vivid like the box said.

It definitely is. Colour payoff is excellent. Easy to use, instructions were straight forward. The smell is really nice I think the conditioner you get with it is the smell that stays in the hair and it smells like a standard nice conditioner.

The red dripage from washing it did get everywhere but it washes off with water. Took longer to wash out than to apply. Ignore the rinse out instructions just cold water shampoo twice then use conditioner.

If you don’t want it to fade always wash hair with cool water not freezing and definitely not hot. Try to wash your hair once or twice a week no more so that you won’t need to dye it as much. My hair is so soft it’s still somewhat dry but that’s because it was bleached a couple months ago.

The only transfer I’ve had was on my towel when drying it but haven’t had any more transfer so far so I think I’m safe on that. I used two boxes on waist length hair, one on roots other one on mids and ends.

I have used Olia a few times now so I know how it works. I had previously used very intense red 6. 66 on ash blonde hair and let it wash out 80% to 90% before putting this rose shade in. I naturally have Ash blonde and grey hair in my 50s.

I used 2 boxes on mid shoulder length hair of this pink shade. This did lighten my hair to a very peachy, candy floss faint pink that was really patchy. There is only about 10% pink colour. It’s definitely not what is on the box, considering I did let my previous colour wash out to very light almost blonde again.

I am in NZ and had it shipped over from Australia as this colour isn’t available here,but I won’t be using it again. Quite disappointed really. I will wait about 4 to 6 weeks and put in either a red or a light brown to cover this.

For now I will have to just disguise it with a messy ponytail with long side strands or some beach waves made with my ghd. I don’t recommend this product at all. I even googled videos of people reviewing this product before using it too.

Most didn’t like the result. I don’t think there is enough colour in this product in the end. I think it has actually wrecked my hair sadly.

I recently dyed my hair and my hairstylist told me to get this brand the shampoo, conditioner, mask and protein to prevent the hair to get damaged and keep the color as well. I was a little hesitant because of the price ( a little bit pricey) but to be honest I’m happy with it! The color is like day one and keeps your hair shiny and nice! Love itt.

Love love love redken color fusion ! It has a great price point as a professional and has great gray coverage for all my clients. The ash colors provide great lift with adequate coverage of the warmth! It’s an amazing line highly recommend it !.

I use everything redken when lightening my hair and toning. I love the fact that it does a good Job and I’m not all day doing my hair process after process. Redken is amazing if you do your hair at home maybe invest in redken it really works better than store products.

I absolutely love this product! This is such a great way to cover up those dark roots in between root touch ups. This allows me to go an extra 4-5 weeks before I need highlights. I highly recommend!

I am a natural level 7, my hair lifts easily but even with an ash – my roots pull to a light strawberry (pretty shade- but not what I want) which dissipates over a week w/out toner (sometimes purple shampoo).

A few years back Clairol Nice n Easy quit making my #99 (to which I added 1/2 tube of #103 ash). After spending $150 at a swanky at a swanky salon & feeling “”meh”” about the result, I stumbled across Silvia Reis’ YouTube channel – ellebangs.

LOVE her! She’s a Redken trained professional who specializes in blondes – with her instructions (which I followed precisely) I had the confidence to give professional products a try. Years ago my hairdresser swore by Redken & my hair was always gorgeous & super healthy.

I chelated my hair 2x the week before coloring to ensure a true unadulterated result. Using 1 tube (2oz) & 4oz of 20 vol. Redken developer & PH Bonder(35 min. NO heat) – this is a thick, creamy mix (won’t work in a bottle) so had to use bowl/brush & paint on.

First time I’ve done that & it’s actually easier & faster to apply it evenly! This is my new go-to & I am a die-hard fan for life!! I didn’t do a base breaker, this was used on virgin roots (nat. level 7) & taken through the length/ends for the last 15 minutes.

My natural hair is multi-tonal & this seems to enhance that enough that I don’t feel like I need a highlight. Even my husband & 18yr old daughter think my hair looks fantastic! Hope I can get my hairdresser to do this for me, I am tired of doing my own hair.

To be honest!!! If I’m giving a chance to get a collection of this kind of brand /items, probably I can review it in my own perspective, but right now I have nothing to say, cos I don’t have the product Yet.

How you gonna review it, if there’s no sample from this brand? So I don’t know the Pros and the cons yet, or there’s nothing for me to say yet so yeah, hopefully I can submit a review about this brand in the future.

was really skeptical on spending this kind of money for something that will just get washed off. BUT! This is worth it. It saved my highlights from brassy tones with just one wash. I couldn’t believe it.

Be careful and rinse it out well because it will stain your towel if any gets. I couldn’t be more thankful for what these products did to my hair.

Great product! Got great results when used! Have used multiple times and have been very satisfied with my results, would definitely recommend. I don’t have an alternative for this product. I would buy again and continue to use.

This was a great toner for making that steel tone to the hair. Of course having to lighten is key. Most ultralifts won’t give you the color you are wanting. Especially if there are more than 3 levels of color that is darker that is needed to be lifted to deposit the correct tonality.

Absolutely in love with this!! Didn’t turn my hair any or orange. Just the perfect ultralight blonde I’ve been looking for! Won’t try another product from now on!!
