UPDATE: Summit recognized my disappointment with the product and has made it right without even having to ask. I have dealt with Summit for a long time, and they never fail to have great customer service.

This thing fits nothing like portrayed in the pictures. There is big gap all the way around, and here in Florida that will defeat the purpose, keeping sun out. My $10 Wal-Mart universal fit shade covers up every last bit of glass.

I should have stayed with that. Also, the directions say to make sure not to bend the material or it damages it. One panel in this one has been bent previously, but the others haven’t, so the panel must have been bent in production before the other panels were all strung together with it.

This sunscreen is NOT your typical thing you buy in your local retail stores. When installed, it’s like a room darkening shade that protects your dash & leather seats. When you forget to install it, even for 5 mins, the interior temperature climbs dramatically.

As my better half & our daughter said, “hot seat!!” For the accidental senior moments, I also ordered 2 cooling seats that do the trick of pain relief.

I waited a long time for this item but it was worth it. It looks great installed, custom, not like those awful foil things you see. Works well too although there’s a little exposure around the mirror.

I’m sure this is to allow for the camera feature but it’s a little too big. It’s easy to install but there’s no easy way to stow it, no sleeve or case, or straps/ties to secure it. It sits on my car floor up against the passenger seat.

When I do have a passenger (or two or three) I have to put it in the cargo bay. Inconvenient at best. One last thing- it leaves a faint film where it touches the glass. Weird. Comes off but I wonder what substance is causing that.

But hey, it looks great!.

Excellent product. I live in Orlando, Florida. I originally purchased this sail 2 years ago to help cut down the heat. Our back yard has a lot of pavement and the summmer heat is to much for the plants and us.

I now own a total of 5 sails in different colors. they hold up well. You can’t go wrong. Thanks shelter logic!.

We bought this item because we wanted shade on our new deck. We had considered buying a parasol, but opted for the ‘Heavy weight Triangle Sun Shade in Terracotta’ instead. We had a bit of trouble installing it in such a way that the sail provided us with shade over most of the deck and during most of a sunny day.

But we succeeded. This afternoon (August 28), it was sunny and we sat down in the shade of the sail. Even though it is called ‘Heavy Weight’, looking up toward the sun I realized that I could not, because the light shining through the fabric was too bright for my eyes.

In other words, the ‘Sail’ did not really provide any shade to speak of. We also heard later from a friend who had sat under one of these sails for a while, that she ended up sunburned, in spite of the shade provided by the sail.

So, we are not satisfied with this product and intend to return it to Home Depot for a full refund of the price, including taxes. Because we live about 2 1/2 hours from the nearest Home Depot (Nanaimo, BC), we do not go to town often.

When we do, we will return the undamaged item, complete with hardware, to your store.

We love this sun shade sail! It’s a great addition to our deck that is west facing. We get all the hot sun in the afternoon and it’s provided some much needed shade for us. Super easy to install. Very durable material.

You now see more Shibumis than any other canopy, tent or umbrella at Holden Beach. It is an ingenious design – lightweight and simple to put up, very much unlike the Chinese-made steel canopies you can get at Wal-Mart.

It provides about the same shade coverage as an 8’x 8′ canopy, but steel canopies last little more than one season, as the wind and salt take their toll very quickly. Shibumis have no steel parts to degrade.

In a strong wind, steel canopies may break (I have had steel parts snap in high winds – don’t know the Chinese manufacture such shoddy steel). Additionally, if they are not secured by sturdy stakes or sand buckets, if the wind is too strong, steel canopies have been known to be lifted up and then cartwheel down the beach in a stiff wind (beach umbrellas are also prone to do this).

That cannot happen with a Shibumi. My only criticisms of Shibumis are (a) they can be noisy with the fabric whipping, (b) if the wind is not very brisk (as with many mornings on the beach), the shibumi will hang like a drape or simply fall over.

I am surprised that Shibumi only manufactures one color combination — this may make your own Shibumi hard to identify among the others (60-70% of shade structures on the beach at any time are Shibumis), and it makes it attractive for someone so inclined to walk off with one if it is not occupied (they can be disassembled and packed up in minutes).

Also, as popular as they are, offering different color combinations or even logos for colleges or NFL or MLB teams would make them even more wildly popular. I am sure there is a cost element to that, but if standard Shibumis are set at $250, custom Shibumis could safely be priced at a premium and still be snapped up.

Anyway, I love the product. I spent years looking for the “better mousetrap” shade after a series of steel canopies, and, to date, Shibumi is it. If you are only at the beach for a week, and will not return for a number of years, you can get a steel canopy at Wal-mart, Target, beach shop, or even a drug store, for $90-150, use it for the week and discard it.

The Shibumi costs more, but will long outlast any steel canopy (that is, a steel canopy used on the beach), and outperform it in all but the calmest wind conditions.

If you are tired of collapsing traditional aluminum frame canopies, the Shibumi Shade will be your best friend at the beach. If like me, you are tired of spending $$$ every time a wind at the beach collapses your traditional canopy in spite of ropes and stakes and 5-gallon buckets of sand securing it only to have it fold like a bad hand of cards, the Shibumi Shade is the answer.

I live in Rockport TX and go to Port Aransas beach quite often. I can’t tell you how many times we drive down the beach and see piles of twisted aluminum canopy frames stacked up by the trash cans. I have owned this product for many years and have never had a problem with it becoming unusable.

The only time I did have a problem was my own fault. My son was helping me put away the shade and he and he bent the pole. I contacted Shibumi and told them of my mistake and they still sent out a replacement pole no charge! Talk about awesome customer service!! During our many times at the beach countless people have asked where we purchased this shade.

I always ask them to take a picture of the tag on the shade with the website. I am an actual very satisfied user not a bot or paid reviewer. My Shibumi Shade has performed amazingly for many years of constant use.

Here in Surf City, NC there are days were you can see Shibumi Shades as far as the eye can see. This is the ultimate solution for windy beaches or even those with a light breeze. Where a beach umbrella can’t stand a chance, Shibumi is in it’s element.

The more wind, the better Shibumi works! We were fascinated the first time we saw one, and it turned out to be our neighbors! We placed our order and because of it’s immense popularity, there was a wait list.

We missed the first round. But the next time we were ready and got in on the waitlist. It’s easier to set it up when you have a partner, but it can be done solo. There are basically 3 parts. The sandbag/carrybag that acts as an anchor.

The collapsed arch rod, which assembles and disassembles easily thanks to an elastic strap built into th e rods,, and the Shibumi shade itself. Push the rod thru the stitched tube. , Align the Shibumi directly into the headwind.

Position the attached anchor line midway of the arch and stretch it out, dropped the bag filled with sand there. Then jab the two ends of the rod into the sand to create an arch. Use the velcro straps attached to the ends of the shade to wrap around the rods to tightly secure the ends.

Then, enjoy the rest of your day in a perfect shaded space! Room for many people, and unlike an umbrella, you can fully stand under it. Packup is a breeze. , and everything fits in the strapped carry bag.

This stuff is my go to for a nice ruddy caucasian skin tone, it goes on nicely straight from the pot but dont be afraid to water it down for a more subtle tone. I like to base coat, use a shade then do my first highlight in the original base colour- I find it really adds a layer of depth before I begin with highlights of a lighter tone again.

Its not just for flesh either- try it over any mid tone, like leather armour or wooden shields if you want to add some depth without having to use nuln oil for everything, which I find tends to deaden the colour of the base coat.

It’s nice enough, I hadn’t seen it in person but it’s brown and I was hoping it had more red to it but it definitely won’t work for what I planned. I’m not sure when I will use it but it’s a nice quality and exactly what it’s supposed to be.

First time I got burned by monitor color versus reality so I’ve been lucky lol.

Although I’ve had the Covercraft Sun Shade for only a week, it appears quite durable and well made. The fit is very good and easy to put in place and remove. Compared with other sun shades I’ve tried with other vehicles over decades, this product is a clear exception.

Beyond the fit and the sturdiness, the Covercraft Sun Shade does appear to keep the automobile interior cooler by comparison to “universal” sun shades. Too early to tell if it is worth the price, but I’ve seen no factor which leads me to suspect it will not retain its high satisfaction quotient.

Blocks out nearly all sunlight from windshield as it fits perfectly. Only two drawbacks – First, the metallic surface that reflects and blocks sunlight gets VERY hot and can burn you if you touch the surface too long (Found out first-hand).

Second, after I ordered mine, it took over 3 Weeks before I received it. Advance Auto said there was a notice about the long wait in product description, but I didn’t see anything, so fair warning, it won’t be delivered within 3-4 days as in the description.

This lampshade is going to be so cute in the baby’s room. Only one complaint. Whoever packed the lampshade placed it on top of other things in the box which made it too tall for the box to close properly so they forced the box closed which caused the box to buckle.

It was taped like that. When I unpacked the lampshade the top was all bent in.

This lampshade was exactly as pictured and the quality was even more impressive when I received it! I have the matching canvas bear wall art and did not get it on Target. com and didn’t even realize it was also by Trend Lab until now.

Their buffalo checker is the best! I recommend all of their products to my country-lovin deco family and friends.

Shipping box was flimsy and was soaked when I received. The shade was crushed in several areas & has visible damage. Looks ridiculous & even worse with the light on. Also color is red & brown, not red & black.

Very disappointed.

this is our 2nd Shibumi, but our 1st “MINI”. We love it as much as our original. The mini is perfect for just two people. Its not quite as noisy on windy days and sets up just as easy as our “OG” Shibumi.

We love the Shibumi product. We went one to our friends in Brazil and mu brother in Florida has one also. This product is an absolute must if you go to the beach a lot.

We use our full-size Shibumi nearly every day we’re on the beach. This year, we ordered the Shibumi Mini immediately after returning from the Virgin Islands. The size would’ve been perfect to fit in our packed suitcases for flights.

Of course we’ve also used it on the local beaches when there are just 2-3 of us needing shade. Love my Shibumis!!!.

Do not buy Smart Shade unless your Trampoline is properly secured and anchored to the ground! Today I witnessed my 15 foot Trampoline go airborne, the sheer force caused my grass to be uprooted for several yards before the trampoline flew, flipped and crashed into my fence.

The Smart Shade is exceptionally good at capturing wind and can send your trampoline flying. My trampoline looks like a taco now and my fence was pushed so hard it now leans heavily into my neighbors yard.

Although this company knows the inherent risks, they don’t cover weather related incidents in their warrantee. Be safe, anchor your trampoline before buying the Smart Shade! I’m giving this product a 1-Star review to raise awareness on the safety issue the use of the Smart Shade system poses.

Thought they would have been assembled better. The plastic spacers are rubbish and don’t last and can’t tighten them up properly, even when bolts are tight uprights are still loose and easy to move side to side.

Can’t drag the trampoline across the yard without it feeing like it’s going to break. Most trampolines are in peoples yard and need to be moved every fortnight to cut the grass, need to be built tougher to last.

The green fades within one year.

We have purchased two of these. They both faulted due to rain. There is a little hole in the middle that the water is supposed to drain thru. Somehow on the first rainstorm the water started to build up on one side and stretched and sagged quite a bit to the point we had to take it off because the kids were jumping into it because it was hanging to low where the water had stretched it out.

We really wanted the kids to have some shade so we bit the bullet and bought another thinking it might have just been a fluke incident. We got the second one and during the very first rain a leaf landed on top and covered the hole.

Not kidding. It filled up full of water and sagged all the way touching the actual trampoline. then finally ripped open when we tried to unhook it to let the water out. Really wanted the kids to have some shade because these can get really hot in the Texas heat.

I feel this can be fixed rather easily. Just put more drain holes in (not just in the middle) or create a simple dome as a cover. A few of the other brands have arch dome covered options and they are great.

I would think a quality company like JumpFlex could come up with a better product for this.

Great product and great price. Was surprised at how much of a temperature difference it makes. We were able to sit on our deck again in the hot summer after many years of barely using it in the summer because it was just too hot.

Dies finde ich sehr irreführend. Ich habe das Sonnensegel mit 2 zusätzlichen (richtigen) Spanngurten aufgespannt (relativ flach) und es entsteht keine Pfütze. Bin gespannt ob das Sonnensegel dem Zug standhält.

I needed white coolie shades for two white lamp bases, to add height and volume. Narrower drum shades gave nice white light but seemed too small for my nightstands. I can use the smaller drum shades on desk lamps where brighter light is needed.

This coolie shade added size to 11″ lamp bases and balanced well with 11″ bottom size. The smaller shade gave brighter light with LED bulbs. But this shade with an ivory interior gives softer light that is in keeping with a bedroom setting on night stands, on a 40 watt lamp base.

The one star rating has never to do with the quality of the lamp shades. The reason for the one star rating is because I never received the lamp shades and the tracking number stated that shipment was delayed.

After waiting for almost 3 weeks I contacted the seller and never received a reason I didn’t received the items. Was not charged for items, so that was a relief.

This was just the right size and price for me. Materials are fine, and construction is too, but there were a few small dirty spots around the bottom rim. (Even though it was well wrapped in plastic. ) Spots are inconspicuous, and can be turned to the back, so for the price, I would buy it again.

Box arrived & wasn’t what I was expecting- not sure what I expected but it wasn’t this. It should’ve been more clear in the listing that you need poles, steady structures to hang each corner from & the picture they advertise is NOT what it looks like.

My dads the most handiest person ever & he helped me rig the canopy up above my new deck (he said I should get an automatic awning put in) figured I already bought this let’s give it a shot. Needless to say he rigged it w/carabiners because when it’s super windy it’s a little scary.

One windy day I went outside & one of the attachments unraveled & came off which meant that side of the canopy wasn’t attached. That’s when my dad said screw this & rigged his own contraption w/the carabiners.

Now when it gets super windy I unhook the 2 sides & role it up. Needless to say I purchased this canopy cuz I thought it would be easy to set up & nothing permanent incase I changed my mind since my trex deck is brand new!! Little did I know it was quite the adventure & install- grateful I have my dad to help me because I wouldn’t have been able to do it.

If you don’t have a solid structure to attach each of the 4 sides to it makes it difficult & you can’t tighten it like it says so it’s not a tight canopy. Needless to say I’ve been talking with the electric awning company people about my options lol.

I found these shades at a great sale price, like almost 2 for 1, and I was so very excited about using them in our yard space. Unfortunately we were unable to get the same two-sided, twisted look shown in the promotional photo’s.

If you really look at the photo’s shown, to get the twisted two-toned look, the attachment poles would have to be sky-high!!! My husband is one of those guys who can figure just about anything out, and he did go as high as possible onto our house for an attachment but he was nowhere close to getting the twist effect.

Otherwise these are well-made shades, the buckles are strong and sewn in well. Plus, we received all of the hardware needed to install, less the poles of course. I was actually about to buy the cables and length extenders but they came with the shades! The prices I was getting online for the cabling was half the price of what I paid for these shades.

I would still highly recommend these shades, especially if you can catch a sale price. Even at full-price I would purchase again, just not as quickly as I added these to my cart originally. Great purchase!.

Looks like a well constructed sun shade. Heavy stiching through out the seams and mounting eyes. Looks like excellent mounting equipment to secure the shade to the poles. I’m still waiting for my poles to mount it, but overall looks like a quality shade.

I was so happy to get some shade I didn’t think it thru. the sun shade is well made and the material looks strong but, I am not about to put screws in my house and I have no trees to hang it from. I guess i should have thought about this before i ordered.

Wanted to write the review because in the description it says to use on strollers that do not have canopy. I bought a Phil and Teds stroller used and it didn’t come with a canopy so I thought this would be perfect.

I have to say its a little deceptive about using with strollers w/ no canopy. In the manual it comes with it says it can only be used with a canopy. I managed to rig mine and it seems ok, but wasn’t too happy about the misleading info.

It does provide great coverage, though. I’ll have to see how it holds up with no canopy underneath. for the price, its a much better deal than buying a replacement Phil and Teds canopy (which I heard weren’t that great).

If this can hold up with my ‘rig job’, then it should be great!.

I had two strollers I was planning on trying to attach this shade to and I couldn’t make it work for either. I simply couldn’t make it attach to the stroller it a way that it would function well. If I had been able to attach it I still would have been disappointed because it’s not designed to stay on the stroller when it is folded up and put away so one would have to reattach it for every use.

And finally I would have found it disappointing because the fabric was thick and black which would make it really HOT on a sunny day.

Excellent sunshade but flimsy construction – pocket seam s came apart first use. Lost gloves . Fiddly to fit but protects from sun glare well .

I’ve only been Microblading for one year and have tried several different blades. I’ve been fortunate to have many clients in my first year. Finding the sweet spot and proper depth has always been a challenge for me, but no more! I used the Classic 9 blade today on a new client.

I then showed the results to my mentor and she said it looked like I will have excellent retention. Zooming in on my photos I could see the sweet spot and it looked so good. I believe I have finally found my new favorite blade! I am on love with the Classic 9.

I would rate five stars but none of the disposable blades have the needle diameters labeled on them which is frustrating for me. I have to reference back to the website to double check.

Whether I’m fighting crime, or trying to live a billionaire lifestyle, my Caped Crusader Shaders are easily my go to sidekick. Adam West would approve of these fantastic shades. I make sure to wear them when I need to be in my darkest of moods, particularly when I am thinking about doling out Justice.

I’ve been told that when I put them on, my voice also becomes gravely and hoarse. Not sure if this is an added voice-changer feature or not, but it is pretty cool.

I recently purchased 12 pairs of Goodrs as Christmas gifts. the entire family loved them!!! Such fun shades. love the UV protection. My husband and I are runners and appreciate that Goodrs are light weight, yet don’t slide around when we are running.

I personally have 3 pair, and plan to order more. They are so fun!.

This is not the first time I have purchased Goodr sunglasses. They are relabel and fun. Especially, developing a mode after my favorite superhero of all time Batman. These color remind me of the Batman Animated Series.

Ammo’s Shaders are really what I would refer to as a wash and do what they say – change the coverage shade straight out of the bottle for the airbrush. I’ve found that the Shaders lie in the space between making an oil wash and using a Flory Model’s -esque clay wash.

They have the fast dry of acrylics (over oils) and more variations and durability than the clay washes. That said – there is a learning curve and less corrective actions or blending but the more experience you have with the others will allow you to use these pretty quickly.

A great add to the toolbox.
