20 Best Selling New Balance Shoes (2023 Updated)

I received the shoes without the inside Comfort Insert that is part of and belongs inside of the shoes. I called customer service and asked if I could be sent the missing Comfort Inserts to the shoes, and I was told that the only thing I can do is to go online and proceed to return the shoes.

I said that I was hoping that we would be able to remedy the situation by them merely sending me the Comfort Inserts. I was put on hold, and when the rep came back she told me that her supervisor said I could go online and purchase the inserts.

I asked why would I do that when it is part of shoe? (The inserts they have online, are NOT the Comfort Inserts that are a part of this shoe. ) I asked if the supervisor understood the problem. The rep said yes.

I said this is wrong and asked to speak to the supervisor. I was put on hold for several minutes, the line was silent. I hung up when they started streaming loud music through the telephone because I did not feel like I was going to get anywhere.

I sent an email through their website; however because they do not have a direct email for subjects such as this and I had to choose a different subject, I am not confident they will respond. You can see from the picture on the website what the inside of the shoe should look like – my shoe has a ragged-edge piece of thin white fabric inside the shoe, not the pink Comfort Insert that is part of the shoe.

I use these 608’s as everyday wear. I like the leather exterior finish of these shoes. They hold up to rough work environments, all the others have a nylon mesh exterior which snags and rips. I keep one pair for going out, so they stay looking good.

My other pair I use and abuse, like I said, leather exterior so they hold up. They do have slits or vents half way down each side of the front, so they breathe. I don’t run or jog anymore so can’t comment on that.

Bought directly from New Balance Online because they had my size in stock. It was a smooth transaction. I have wide feet, mens 9 1/2 4E. Been wearing New Balance for decades because they are one of the great tennis shoe makers that offer comfortable wide shoes.

Keep making the the leather exterior shoes like the 608’s New Balance, because they look great and are durable. Thanks.

I’ve worn this style NB shoe for about five years. Usually a new pair every 9-12 months. It’s getting very hard to find shoes that are leather. not mesh. I use them for both work and “Saturday” wear and find them comfortable.

Because they are leather they keep my feet clean, warm and dry. Mesh shoes just don’t work for my every day wearing. My previous style number was difficult to find this time around so I chose this model.

Basically they are equivalent to my preferred model EXCEPT for the soles. These are promoted as “work” shoes and they have a more “indoor” sole pattern. very smooth slip resistant style- not the more rugged walking or sports type of sole.

I will be keeping them mostly because leather sneakers are getting pretty hard to find.

I was on the fence about ordering these I’m glad that I did. They are so very comfortable, lightweight and easy to wear. They could’ve done a better job at finishing the tongue part of the sneaker that is right underneath the laces.

I can see the foam peeking through and I feel it could’ve been stitched/finished in a way it didn’t show. Also the white part of the sole is soft so if you hit your foot the wrong angle or rub it against something it will leave an impression on it.

Not unhappy about this purchase though.

I am a big fan on 574s, so I assumed these would be the same comfy, everything shoe; however, if you’re looking for arch support and comfortability, these are not it. If you’re looking for super adorable shoes, they def fit the bill! I’ve never received more compliments on my shoes.

I struggle with flat feet and need support and these shoes have been pretty painful and not the best all-day shoes.

BUYER BEWARE!! The “savings” here is not worth the risk if they do not change their return shipping policies! This is the second pair of shoes we ordered this month and had to return-and pay all shipping fees.

In the past these shoes always fit my husband’s feet size 14. But now it seems that NB changed their models and all their shoes are too tight around the toes. In the future we will not be buying from Joe’s New Balance because we have to pay the return shipping.

this month I spent over $40 to return shoes that did not fit!! I could have just bought shoes from a brick and mortar store. Very unhappy!!.

I usually wear 8 or 8. 5. I ordered the gray online in 8. 5. They were way too big so I returned to the store for an 8. When they arrived I thought 8 would be fine because the other was so big. I went for a walk and to run errands and could feel the blisters forming.

I thought I had these exact shoes about 15 years ago but it must have been a different version or maybe I had 8 wide. It seems like they fit but they hurt my feet. I can’t find an athletic shoe that’s made well anymore including Nike.

Disappointed.

I bought the gray tennis shoes a couple of weeks ago. I absolutely love them. I have a tumor under my foot plus a narrow foot with 3 AAA heel so I definitely need a shoe that is strong with good memory foam and holds my heel inside the shoe.

I tried a pair of the new slip on tennis shoes with no shoe strings. They were comfortable but did not have the security I need. Please continue to make the 515 V3 for those of us who need tightness and security.

I’ve been a nurse for 3 years and a CNA for 1. 5 years before that, working a usually 36 hours a week and I even worked 10 days in a row before. I’ve had these shoes that entire time and they’ve gotten worn down in the last couple of years but still comfortable enough to continue wearing.

I’ve purchased multiple shoes in the past few months looking for a replacement, including other New Balance Shoes and Hokas. I own expensive Nike and Adidas shoes as well including 2 versions of the Ultraboosts.

Every shoe I’ve had besides this one has felt uncomfortable in one part of the shoe within a few hours of wear. Well after trying other shoes, I decided to see if these were still available and they are in my size! So I got them again and just like my older ones these new ones are comfy right away and don’t require breaking in at all.

I love them so much I’ll probably just buy another pair now so I have them in the future when I need a replacement!.

I purchased 2 pair of these in Jan. Excited they arrived, fit is fine and comfortable. Ordered normal size, BUT going back. LACING is a nightmare to loosen with the suede slit (no grommet or holes) with the laces.

Once loosened a bit, IMPOSSIBLE to turn the laces like they SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE IN THE FIRST PLACEll The way other shoes are done,, TONGUE is (one piece) part of the exterior shoe, making it double hard to get on because of the lace and no give.

Only after shoe horn and 4-5 tries did I get them on. Sole is MUCH THINNER – and tread is also- meaning they won’t last long until they are smooth on the bottom. Worst part of all THERE IS NO additional grommet or slit, at the top to tighten,, COMMON on almost all other athletic shoes.

Put on w/ new no show sox walked down 12 ft hall and already slipped under my heel. NEVER had this problem before with N B and I have worn them for over 30 years with all sorts of styles and costs. May keep 1 pr for a knock around just because i already got rid of the old grungy worn out pair.

I have worn New Balance running shoes for almost 20 yrs. They are well made, provide great support and are comfortable, so I thought I would order this shoe since I was looking for a lighter weight shoe for just walking on vacation.

I ordered the 91/2 medium width and the 91/2 wide which is what I have always worn in the running shoes. The first thing I realized when trying them on was that the tongue of the shoes is sewn onto the shoe at the sides which means you can’t slide them on, you need a shoehorn.

Secondly, the laces are almost impossible to adjust so the wide width was fine for one foot but when I tried to make the laces tighter for the other foot, I literally could not adjust the laces. Also the mesh would provide absolutely no support.

It’s just an all round terrible design, though the shoe looks good and is very lightweight. I would caution anyone who thinks they can just step into this shoe like they can with a good running or walking shoe will be VERY disappointed with this style.

Bought these trainers having never worn New Balance before, didn’t know what to expect size wise as I’d heard they run small. I bought a 7. 5 as I’m usually a 7, not only do they look amazing but they are soooo comfy! I’m getting to get another pair in a different colour too.

Would defo take your usual size in these as they come up smaller than other trainers but only slightly. Love the colour, true to the photo. Comfy. Just well good.

Literally can’t understand New Balances sizing I’m a UK 6. 5 and had to order a 7. 5 from the official website but then it says EU 41 which i thought was a UK 8. Either way defo size up because they run way small.

Otherwise a really comfy and great basic shoe.

Wear to work everyday. I like the suede New Balance series. Love the black and white! They are comfortable and stylish. I mix and match my New Balance sneakers all the time. Love pastel colors in New Balance as well.

Having had a lifelong struggle with too narrow shoes, these are a relief — but still not perfect. My feet are wide across the toes but relatively narrow in the heels and not bulky. As a result all but the toe box is too roomy and not supportive enough.

Replacing the stock insole with a firmer orthotic has helped. At least my toes are happy.

Lately, most everything I wear on my feet cause me pain and discomfort. However, these sneakers fit well, are comfortable, absorbs the pounding of the pavement, my knees don’t hurt when I wear them. I only wish the similar black ones I’d ordered were just as comfortable.

Overall, I LOVE the sneakers, and want more in different colors.

I’ve always been into the classic shoes by NB, the 373’s, 574’s, 997’s. This particular 373 is special as the colour is quite uncommon. Really liked this pair.

Like the shoes. They are comfortable and fit great. I usually buy 990’s but wanted a shoe that was comfortable and cost less.

I bought the moondust, raincloud, and black in my regular size, 8. These sneakers are super cute AND comfortable. I was really bothered by the horrible negative reviews prior to receiving mine. I almost shipped these back based on those awful reviews.

It would be great if Q customers would review items they have purchased ONLY after receiving them. Also, please stop writing negative reviews on sizing when the sizing is provided both on-air and online.

For the record, these sneakers are not “sewn down,” the laces are functional, and they fit true to size. I will add they are more of an ath-leisure sneaker than a supportive walking shoe. If you are looking for lots of foot support for long walks or exercise that involves cardio, I might go with the padded Isaac New Balance or Ryka.

Still, these are 5 stars for me! The colors are great for spring!.

My fussy feet that require soft support drive me crazy, but when I put on these super comfy NB sneaks, they were very happy! Like many others, I don’t understand the negative reviews. These are a different style than your typical sneakers, and that’s what I like about them.

The laces are functional, but because of the stretch, I don’t ever have to untie and tie them again. I just tied them to the appropriate tightness and I’m good to go. Great for someone who is in and out of boots and inside shoes all day while I’m raising a puppy.

These serve nicely as a comfortable inside shoe until the weather warms and then I’ll wear these all the time as casual shoes. I have the black—great with leggings, and I’m coming back for the dark blue and maybe the pink.

I’m very tempted to get all available colors. They’re that good. I don’t even need to change out the removable insoles; they offer plenty of support and comfort. I bought my normal 8. 5 size. Buy these! You’ll love them!.

I’ve been wearing New Balance shoes since basic training in 1996, so of course when I needed a new pair I turned to New Balance. We have a very high energy German Shepherd puppy that requires multiple daily long walks to get some of that energy out, so comfortable shoes are a must.

I give these 4 stars because I ordered them in extra wide, which is what I always buy, and they seem narrower than the other 5 pairs I’ve owned. They don’t pinch because the material they’re made of is pretty stretchy, but I’m concerned I may wear a hole in them where they rub against my toes.

The provided insole isn’t that comfortable, I have high arches, so I had to order a different insole for them. That’s nothing against the shoe or New Balance, they can’t make everybody happy, and I always replace the provided insoles in shoes I buy.

I’m just letting people know that, if you have high arches, the provided insole won’t work for you. When these first arrived I didn’t think much of the really thin material the main body is made of, it seems to be of lesser quality than other New Balance shoes I’ve owned, but time will tell if they’ll last.

I’d give these 5 stars if they were actually extra wide like the tag says they are, cause they really are comfortable shoes.

Gosh, I am so pleased with these! They are adorable, first of all, and I feel like the brown/tan accent on the heel really makes it to where you can wear them with anything – not just if you happen to be wearing blue that day! They are also very comfortable.

I had a complete tear of my PF in 2019, so finding something with decent arch support is a must for me now, and I have another pair of NB that have worked so figured I’d give these a go. Glad I did! As for the sizing, I am a 9.

5 in my L after my injury, 8. 5 in my R – ordered up a bit after reading the reviews and got a size 10. They fit great honestly. I think I could have stayed with the 9. 5 (since I have narrow feet) but can see why others advised to size up, as it seems like it could be a bit snug on the top for people with high arches and since the sides are soft, if you have a wider foot, you’d definitely feel the narrowness of the footbed.

Shipping was super fast, I was surprised how quickly they came! And I got a great deal on a cute pair of sneaks that I easily could have paid double for. Score! I promise I don’t typically leave super long reviews, but I find them so helpful when trying to navigate online shopping these days that these felt worth it to give the heads up to people who are thinking about buying them.

I had been looking for a plain navy blue women’s walking/running sneaker for several months and could not seem to find one anywhere. Everything was either covered with crazy colors or designs, or was super expensive.

I finally found this one on the New Balance website. its exactly what I was looking for. The color blue is perfect – a true navy. It looks great and the fit is great. I wear a 7 1/2 to an 8. I ordered the 8 as I usually do in a sneaker and it fits perfectly.

I have a slightly narrow foot and the width is also perfect. If you wear a medium width you should be fine. I would say if you have a very wide foot then this one might not work.

I’ll try to write this in great detail to help future buyers. Today I’m wearing my favorite new balances, 574 core black colorway. Size 12’s I’m an 11 1/2 true to size. The ones im wearing today fit perfect, comfortable toe box, doesn’t get sweaty, very comfortable throughout the day.

The ml574 or this model, they were very narrow, crammed toe box, my feet got hot and sweaty from whatever cushioning they’re using inside. I was extremely dissapointed. I read everywhere online that there is no difference between the core 574 and the ml574.

Ordered the same size. 1 thing I noticed, I ordered the blue core 574 colorway , still a little narrow but not as bad, wearable and no sweat hot feet experience. My advice , try these on before hand.

Dont blind buy. Or I guess order a whole foot higher than your normal wear. One more thing, the shoes I liked were made in Vietnam. The ml and the other core were made in Indonesia. Hope this helps.

I wear a size 13, normal width. I don’t typically jump around sizes brand-to-brand. I ordered 4 pairs of shoes from various brands, and both of the non-NB brands were too narrow. The ML574s fit my foot comfortably, no tightness or discomfort or rubbing on any art of my foot.

The support is good, though better in the heel and arch than the toes. The construction is mediocre, not cheapo but not a forever shoe. The style is tasteful and trendy, a great substitute for the 550s if you’re not trying to drop mad $$$$s on shoes.

If you want to spend more money you could probably get a higher quality product, but in this price range it ticks all the boxes.

All the pictures on this site are incredibly inaccurate. This shoe looks like a navy blue suede shoe to me on both my computer monitor and my phone. it’s not. It’s actually black. This is the second style of shoes I’ve order in the past month or so from this site where the color in the picture was significantly different than what’s in the box.

As far as the shoe itself. seemed to run about a quarter size too big and looked a little too much like clown shoes on my feet. They were not very comfortable and incredibly flat footed. Not a keeper.

First of all I don’t know what that other dude is talking about. He just must be a hater of New balance. Me personally I love the 237 I love all New balance shoes. For me I wear a size 13 they fit perfect I don’t know any New balance shoe that doesn’t actually fit true to size for me at least.

I like to a baby blue colorway. The suede could be softer but I’m still happy with it at that price point I guess you can’t complain too much it still looks good. The fabric is kind of like a raincoat material but smoother or maybe like a sail cloth either way it looks really good I’m so happy that I went with the blue colorway.

The Nblogo is in a leather. So far I have three 237s I love them all. A classic look with a modern look. Any shoes are an all day comfortable shoe. We do all have different feet for me they fit super comfortable and that’s why I stick with New balance cuz they all fit my feet.

A new shoe model built exactly like uncomfortable 1970s model shoes. NB saw Nike bring back the uncomfortable Daybreak shoe and said “hold my beer”. It teamed with Casablanca to introduce the shoe and build hype but his the fact that that intro model was a final sale item.

The does run small and are very uncomfortable. Save your money and buy another model of NB shoes. While I have some fond memories from the 1970s, poor cushioned cheaply made running shoes rank up there with my memories of toughskins (kids, Google it, those clothes were awful).

Looking for new shoe to walk around in as I enjoy walking the mall to see about the new sites at Topsys, Cake Box and The Jones Store. Sometimes I enjoy a delicious meal at Smak’s. Especially the hickory burger.

This shoe is fantastic at providing a comfortable ride (if you know what I mean). There is a giant N on each side and there is a fantastic off kilter New Balance on the heel. Squashy outsoles are excellent.

I’m just ordering another pair.

I saw all the great reviews for these sneakers but this is the first time that my personal experience didn’t live up to the majority reviews. As a few others have mentioned, I found these sneakers to be terribly uncomfortable.

One thing I didn’t realize is that the tongue is actually stitched into place. Instead of a tongue that can be pulled up to slide your foot in, these sneakers oddly have a wide, fixed strap of elastic that goes across the top of your foot.

Even if the sneakers fit well, I would still have trouble putting the sneakers on because I’m used to loosening my laces and lifting up a movable tongue to slip my foot inside. The struggle to put these sneakers on was frustrating and that was even before my foot was fully inside.

Once they were on, I took them off to check the size because they were so incredibly tight that my toes were pushed up right against the tip sneaker. I have a wide foot and depending on the sneaker, I’ve sometimes worn a 6.

5 wide or a regular 7. After reading the reviews and several people mentioning that the toe box had lots of room, I opted for the size 7 regular. The toe box is indeed a bit wide but the sneaker itself is short in length and felt like I had put on a size 6.

My foot was crammed up against the front of the shoe. This shoe ran so small that with the mesh material, I could see the outline of my toes and they both felt and looked incredibly cramped. I’m only 5.

1 inch tall and weigh 105 pounds. I don’t have any issues with weight or swelling that adversely affect my how my feet may fit into shoe or sneakers. As I said, i do have a wide foot but the width wasn’t an issue with these sneakers.

They simply ran so much smaller than than the size they purport to be that I dont’ see them ever becoming comfortable even if I were to take the time (and pain) to break them in. I will say that the mauve color is really pretty and it was one of the reasons I liked these sneakers when I first saw them online.

I work out daily with an elliptical and also run/walk either outside or on a treadmill. I tried wearing these for both activities and had to take them off within minutes because they hurt so badly. This is the second pair of New Balance sneakers I’ve made in my lifetime and it will be my last.

Never encountered this before, but the soles of these shoes (I tried two pairs, said they were manufactured in the middle of 2020, both did this, they were the gray “lead” style with the orange/tan “N”) seem to release some very slippery coating onto my hardwood floors.

The soles do no feel slick to the touch, and do not slip on the floor themselves, but everywhere I walked they made the floor slippery. Places where I stood for a minute or two became very slick, to the point that when I took my shoes off I almost slipped and fell as my socks slid out from under me.

Again, the soles do not feel slick to the touch, but if I rub my fingers on them for a few seconds, my fingers become slippery. Not sure what is going on. Improperly mixed or cured urethane (I assume the soles are urethane) can release a slick, oily residue, so maybe that’s it.

They were made during the height of manufacturing issues in the pandemic, and they are now almost two years old, so maybe they are really starting to leach this residue out. The only other thing I can think that it could be is that New Balance recommends cleaning their shoes with a silicone-based cleaner.

If New Balance is cleaning their returned shoes (i. e. , if someone orders them, they don’t fit and they exchange them for another size) with this kind of cleaner it could leave a slick residue if not fully wiped off, which the next person has to deal with.

Not sure if New Balance handles returns like this or not, though. Otherwise, I liked the shoes, though my heel slipped in them more than I would have liked. They do seem to run small. Shame they had this slippery condition, that is a total deal-breaker.

I actually bought these shoes on this site almost a month ago, but it was only today that I finally wore them outside for the first time. I went with the “Rogue wave with eclipse and white” color, I really like those two shades of blue combined with the white base.

This is my first pair of Fresh Foam Roav shoes, although I did purchase a pair of a similar model – Fresh Foam Cruz – three years ago. Those are super comfy and they have held up really well; I still wear them.

So, I bought these Roav shoes expecting them to be like that Cruz pair I have, and I’m pleased to say that they are alike. Just like the Cruz, these Roav shoes have such a soft and comfortable foot bed inside.

That, combined with the Fresh Foam midsole, takes all the pressure off the bottom of my feet. The front of the shoes is also nice, my toes feel really good in them. But, what I like most about these Roav shoes is the unique “Ultra Heel” design in the back of the shoe.

Thanks to that, I don’t have to worry about the back of my foot tearing through the fabric inside the shoe, as is the problem I experience with any other shoe. As for the fit, I find them to be “true to size.

” I wear a size 13-D (standard width). Lastly, I’d like to express my opinion that, even though these are tagged as a “running shoe,” I think of these shoes as more “casual-only. ” I bought these to serve as my casual shoes for the spring and summer, I really have no desire to run in them or wear them in cold weather.

For me, these shoes are too nice for running, and I prefer my running shoes to have a thicker, more durable layer on the top of the shoe. But, again, that’s just my opinion. I’m just glad I finally bought myself a pair of these Roav shoes (and they were on sale!), I’m looking forward to wearing these every day once it warms up.

Been buying New Balance for 35 plus years and this is not up to New Balance quality. The fit is fine, the shoe itself does not provide much in the way of support. material is thin and inserts were so thin they don’t add any arch or cushioning.

I ended up buying better inserts just to get a little stability back and some arch support. Only thing these shoes are good for is slippers and driving a vehicle. I certainly would not run in them. Just walking around my ankles would ache by end of the day.

They are cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for, which is not much.

I bought this for my son who has wide feet. We sized down 1 size because it fit better. Maybe wide shoes have more room so we didn’t need his usual size. It’s hard to find running shoes that are lightweight and comfy and in wide sizes so I was happy to find this one in a brand name I trust.

Unfortunately, he’s wearing a hole at the side after 1 week of wear, where his foot is the widest. He’s a very active teenager. Probably can’t fault the shoe. Mesh fabric keeps the shoe lightweight so it’s a trade-off I guess.

Like most people. I think I have tried every brand out there. I can’t spend $130+ on shoes that will just wear out in 2-3 months. I had to break away from Hoka’s and Saucony’s. wasn’t convinced with New Balance at first years ago but I always came back to them when they had sales/deals.

They are consistently dependable and comfortable to me. I’m also older so. I’ll take comfort over flashiness. Right out of the box – I checked the insert soles. aligned correctly and the comfort was instantaneous.

(Saucony’s quality has been so poor the late 8 years. and I had a habit of checking soles since I noticed the Saucony’s were failing) These shoes are not narrow but I can see someone with narrow feet not having a relaxed snug fit.

just double up on socks. I have used these shoes to run daily (2-4 miles). and almost a week in. I bought another pair. Like most of my New Balance shoes. I will retire them for yard work but when I see the tread/usuage of them.

I know I got a deal.

I am a supinator and I have a stress fracture in my right foot that hasn’t healed for two years now. I bought these shoes in the Rogans store and I love them so I bought a pair online at Rogans. My right foot doesn’t hurt anymore and my stress fracture has healed because of these shoes.

I highly recommend these shoes. The salesman at the Marshfield, WI store spent a lot of time with me helping me find the best shoes for me. I’m so grateful for his help and I’ll only shop at Rogans.

Shoes are great, love the colour scheme, but the shoelaces, or the holes, seem cheap when you pull the laces through ie when you tie them or untie them. So while wearing the shoes, there is no negativity or issues, they are very comfortable and look smart.

It is just while tieing the laces that you feel the cheapness of the laces material. A good thing about purchasing from Rebel sport store during lockdown is that you can replace your shoes for different sizes or colours at the store.

You don’t need to post them anywhere, which is a pain when purchasing from other stores. I have never been someone that buys wearables online, but having the ability to be able to exchange them at the store made the process much more appealing.

This is the first pair of New Balance trainers I’ve bought and they’re so comfy, I’ll definitely be purchasing more. I went up half a size to a 9. 5 from my normal size 9 and they fit really well. I have quite narrow feet and these pulled tight enough to feel secure.

Lovely colour too and any wipes I’ve had on them have easily been removed with a baby wipe.

Great lightweight fashion trainer. Smart alternative to black or white, smart casual. Do feel a little cheap, but they are a good price. Come up small. I have always worn 8, took 8 in these and they are snug, will need some wearing in.

I have read about the unfinished tongue and the crooked logo on the heel. These are retro-inspired shoes, people! These details are like that on purpose. Do you really think NB can’t print their name stright on the heel, or that they didn’t think of the exposed foam on the tongue? No, guys, this is the way shoes were in the ’70s and ’80s.

I know, because I grew up in those years and that’s how they were. It is not an oversight. It is on purpose. Yu can see the same details on retro shoes from other famous shoe companies. It would not cost them a thing to not have the foam exposed in the tongue and to print the name straight in the heel.

Next time you see something a little quirky on a retro-inspired show, stop to think that maybe, just maybe, it’s like that on purpose. Having said that, I own several pairs of these. They are TTS and quite comfortable.

Not the most comfortable in the line-up, but they are more of a lifestyle shoe, so yes, they are comfortable, but they are not made to do sports in them. As far as style, they look way more expensive than they are.

They look like one of the MiUSA styles, but way more affordable. I love them.

I have yet to see any real helpful reviews for those are looking to purchase these for the first time. For reference, I normally wear a size 12US in Nike, Vans, Adidas (Jordans, Eras, Boosts, etc. ).

For ALL New Balance shoes I’ve ever purchased, going down a half size is a must for me, and I did so again with these (11. 5), and they are a perfect fit, as expected. Know that you are buying a full cut shoe, meaning these puppies are meant to be laced up right and tight.

If you leave an eyelet open, you’re almost assuredly going to have some bad heel slippage, just the nature of these shoes. But if you can get a perfect fit, and lace them up completely, the heel slippage is very minimal, and you sort of forget about it.

Regardless, don’t expect these to be molded to your foot no matter how you do them up. Size it right, lace em’ tight, and you’ll love these.

I like these. However, they are not made in USA 996’s. Btw, my favorite shoes of all time(why are they not always in production?). With that said, trying these, is a definite downgrade. Stitching , materials, crooked stamped logo on heel(some of the stitching is off by quite a bit on the heel).

With that said, I like the design and colors. The shoe fits true to all my other NB’s and they are very comfortable. I think these might make for a nice made in USA makeover. They are pretty cool. New Balance, please reintroduce the 996 USA model.

How many people can say they wore a shoe for six years, everyday(all day), with no socks? I can, and they still have some miles left on them. I would have replaced them years ago, but with no option to buy a replacement, I held off.

Loyal lifetime New Balance customer. Casual walking and everyday use weather permitting. For me 574 represents timeless style, comfort, and quality at a price that can’t be beat and New Balance has never let me down over the last 30+ years I have been wearing their shoes.

So consistently good! I always keep three different pairs on hand because I enjoy the unique color combinations with different attire. To me the fit is just a hair on the small side as far as sizing goes but I am reluctant to go half size up and these are snug yet comfortable nonetheless for walking and everyday casual use.

Really enjoy the comfort and in my experience these shoes just last. Great value!; A throwback to how things were and should be made for the everyday consumer and the unique style stands out but is still tasteful and not overly loud or over bearing.

Please new balance keep doing what you are doing with the 574!.

The advertisement on the screen made the tan look brighter than it actually is, but that turned out perfect for me. I was worried the color would look too bright and orange, especially for the office space that I work in, but it’s a soft toned tan that adds just the perfect amount of personality without being to kiddish (I’m really short and have a high pitch voice, so I worry a lot about being taken seriously).

In terms of comfortability, these bad boys couldn’t be more comfy. The fit is perfect, and the shoes don’t take time at all to get used to your feet. I also workout in these shoes and haven’t had any issues with mobility, breathability, or durability.

I highly recommend you get these shoes as casual active wear or even just everyday wear. Have gotten lots of compliments 🙂 10/10.

This is a fantastic every day wear kind of shoe, light jogging, walking or just sitting around and looking great on my feet. A beautiful shoe with good construction and nice materials, the suede needs constant cleaning but worth the effort.

The padding both underfoot and around the ankle and tongue is ample enough to make it a reasonably comfortable shoe. I am a size 12 wide so I bought the 13 and was very pleased with the fit. My one complaint is that the left shoe creased on the toe box right away, these things happen and at the end of the day no one really notices these kind of things anyway.

If not for the instantaneous crease this would be a 5 star footwear experience. I’ll definitely pick up another pair at some point, a high quality shoe for a very reasonable price. I’ve paid a lot more for a lot less, new balance made me a fan with these shoes.

and that’s probably why you’re checking them out. And yes, on feet they really look fantastic and tie many outfits together. However, the leather quality is questionable. Dropped mine once and now have a little permanent dent on the left toe area.

Additionally, the fit is a bit weird. Size 13 felt like the right length but the shoe would slide up and down the heel thanks to the tongue being so far forward (making for a huge opening). Had to go with a size 12 even though I end up having to curl my toes a bit cause.

you know. anything for the drip. The actual construction of the shoe seems extremely sturdy though, as is usually the case with NB, and it looks just as nice in person.

These shoes look great, they really pop and the colors are a lot better in person than from photos. They’re comfortable too and feel great on my feet, coming from someone that has extremely flat feet.

The downside is that they also feel pretty cheap and some of the materials are not great. For example, the material for the tongue is just fabric with some very thin foam, almost zero padding. And the edges of the tongue aren’t even sewn shut.

I feel like this is going to be e first thing that wears down on the shoe and I have no idea how long these will last. I have to give these 3/5 stars. Look great and feel great, but the material and quality is lacking and I fear for how long they will last.
