20 Best Selling Jo Malone Candle (2023 Updated)

I got the fragrance layered candle between English pear freesia with lime basil mandarin. Yes! It’s absolutely on the pricey side ($265 for 600g 3-wick one). It took me a while to decide I should get it or not to be honest 😆 I gave it a shot and turned out it worth every penny ☺️.

The combination smells amazing. The scent lasts hours after leaving it on for 2 hours. I guess That is what we pay for 😉 With 600g size will be good for a while. Overall, It’s crazy price point for candle but I absolutely repurchase again.

Last month, I received this candle as a gift (so unsure where it was purchased). I was thrilled to receive it as I am a long time admirer of Jo Malone products. I have purchased many, many lovely items for myself as well as gifts for others.

I have tried burning it several times and it has no scent whatsoever. Given the 2+ years of COVID, is it possible that retailers are selling old inventory that really should be replaced with fresh items? I wish I could return it but don’t want to hurt the feelings of my gift giver.

Can a candle bring happiness? Yes, yes it can. This one especially! So pros: It smells beautiful, like angels would smell. Comes with goth matches, how fun. Pretty big Increases the value of your home by 10% Cons: Expensive for something that literally melts away.

I do recommend any jo malone candles, I think they are worth it as they do last a long time and I find the scent does linger even when only lit for a short amount of time.

I use this in my living room or bathroom. This is scent that lends itself to Autumn and Winter months and works particularly well in evenings or late afternoons due to the patchouli base note giving it its spicy yet sweet scent.

The fragrance is powerful without being overpowering and the throw is impressive enough that I smell the candle upstairs. I can at times still smell the fragrance in the morning if I have burned this late in the evening.

I have found, however, that burning this for more than 3 hours can make the candle smell a little smoky and I have also found that it can make me sneeze and I feel a little bunged up as if I am reacting to something in the fragrance.

I have this on every occasion when I burn this candle but not when I burn candles from another (French) luxury brand. Packaging is impressive (thickness of cardboard box and gift card and feel of the grosgrain ribbon) but not gaudy so makes a lovely gift on the personal or corporate side.

I would say that on one occasion my sample was not in the order which was a little frustrating but it’s complimentary so seems indulgent to complain. A star removed simply because I do react to this candle and because of the way it can smell a little smoky after a while.

My review is for the English Pear and Freesia 30g mini travel size candle. The scent of this candle is so light, it almost seems scentless. You have to use it in a very contained space such as a tiny bathroom in order for any noticeable fragrance to be apparent.

For an expensive candle based on perfumes, I’m not sure why it’s so light. I also personally don’t see why companies are still creating unclean candles. So many small and large businesses are able to make clean candles with a soy or beeswax base at a fraction of the price, so I am not sure why large brands have not done this yet.

Pros about this candle are the sleek look and the fact that is burns evenly, but without noticeable scent I would not purchase.

EVERY DAY LUXURY On Thursday, I had a tumor in my upper spinal cord, C1 c2, removed I have a long recovery ahead of me and need to relearn everything as I train my left side as it pertains to self care (eating, showering, moisturizing, brushing teeth, makeup, hair, getting dressed.

I know many woman love beauty self care, but I must admit this seems like a high stakes luxury to take from me!!) I have modeled myself to be strong, independent and in control for my career, family and self, so it is difficult and humbling to be dependent and vulnerable.

My left arm and hand doesn’t work yet and lots of neck pain but should recover with PT and OT, time unknown but potentially 3-12 months. I am starting with simple basic self care staples to help get some normalcy and respect back.

This is a simple step to selfcare that instantly improves feelings of worth! Invest in a fragrance that makes you feel luxurious!.

The candle is beautiful, but the glass is garbage. I had one candle’s jar just shatter while burning after only 20 minutes. I was shocked. The price point is way to high for that to be happening. Even if it was free that shouldn’t happen.

Anyhow, the fragrance is lovely and not overpowering once lit. Having a lid is always helpful as it can bring aroma to a room when unlit and simply uncovered.

🌹Velvet Rose Oud Cologne by Jo Malone is an Amber Floral fragrance for men and women. Velvet Rose Oud was launched in 2012. The fragrance notes are Damask Rose, Agarwood(Oud), Praline and Clove. To me it smells like lush Rose jam mixed with Oud Cologne.

This fragrance is more Rose dominant and far less powerful in the Oud. The Rose scent is woody, Smokey which makes it super sexy. This scent lingers on for days if I accidentally spray it away from the skin.

It’s a perfect evening and perfect fall scent, lasts all day on me. This scent is perfectly unisex. I’m in love with it. 🌹.

This is my absolute favorite scent of Jo Malone. It’s packaging is amazing. It’s scent is amazing. it’s exclusive and not everyone has it. It’s worth the investment! If you’re on the fence grab, this arrangement will help you fall in love.

These candles smell INCREDIBLE (great selection in this set) and the gift box is stunning. My only gripe is that they are way smaller than expected, even smaller than Jo Malone’s usual mini candles which is what I was expecting.

No doubt these are my favorite candles, they are just super small so proceed with caution. Probably better of picking one or two of your favorite scents and getting the travel or home size.

This is a fun little set. The candles are on the smaller side – but it’s fun to get a little bit of this and that scent-wise! The two holiday scented candles smell amazing, as do the rest. The box is quite fancy and presents well.

This is a great gift or hostess gift!.

I love Jo Malone and have been enjoying Myrrh and Tonka perfume since it came out. The thought of having that smell around the house was irresistible. I had ordered two candles of this scent to indulge over Christmas and lit one.

The scent was the awful synthetic formula which is an irritant to nasal passages. So disappointing. Check the ingredients – it is not as you hope and a real confusion as to why it costs so much and could be compared with a yankee candle.

I have been able to return the unopened one but will give the just started Myrrh and Tonka candle away. Will stick to Pommegranate Noir. Two stars because hope and packaging were high !.

I AM ALSO TRYING TO GET AHOLD OF THEM AND ASK THEM TO GET THE LARGER ONES IN AT BLOOMINGDALES. STORES. AS THEY DONT HAVE THE LARGER SIZE OF THEM IN THEY ARE WORTH THE MONEY.

I brought the Jo Malone Rose and Oud Candle and Myrrh and Tonka for a present and when I received the items, I was very disappointed. They arrived in a very poor state. The outside package was falling to pieces and the gift box was in poor condition.

The candle and diffuser were also scratched. Not gift worthy. When paying £60-70+ for each item, you would expect to receive the products in pristine condition but they were far from it. Not only that, each item was supposed to come gift packaged separately, as I selected when ordering, instead both items came in one gift box where the items didn’t fit and the box didn’t even close fully.

I ordered these as gifts, but after calling customer service to ask that they rectify the problems, they said they could not help and refused to send replacements in time for when I needed the gifts.

Very disappointed with my first experience shopping with Jo Malone. I expected better and was really excited when placing my order.

For two of these candles I definitely recommend in a smaller room. Peony and Blush suede will fill out a larger room though. Peony is tied for my favorite candle with Baies from Diptyque. For the Peony I just think it is such a wonderful scent and it really fills up a large room and it just smells amazing.

It makes me feel relaxed and just so cozy. LOVE IT!!! I bought the other 2 in larger sizes to see if the throw improved which I think it will.

I absolutely love Jo Malone travel candles! They are tiny but they give off such a powerful scent that it doesn’t even matter. Also – this feels like a really nice way to try out these different flavors in home.

The Lime Basil Mandarin is my all time favorite and has been for years. But I’ve only ever tried the Peony in a spray before and thought it was so soft, pretty and ultra feminine – so I am really looking forward to trying the candle.

Hoping it is something I can enjoy on my makeup vanity. I’ve never been interested in the English Pear before but who knows maybe I’ll love it. I do take pretty good care of my Jo Malone candles (even travel size), because it is a rare fragrance brand that doesn’t give me headaches.

Yes, you pay a little more but what you get is yummy fragrances and quality candles that fill every room they light with LUXURY.

I think the size of these candles is just fine. Its a trio of travel size candles which it says in the title and I feel the price point was a nice deal. I am a loyal and huge fan of all things Jo Malone but have yet to try out the candles until now – looking forward to burning them.
